Mort Safe is a new, ten episode audio drama coming in 2023, created by Oran Talbot and Sam Drake.

Edinburgh. 1829. The medical curiosity of the western world has taken hold of the city, with doctors-to-be travelling from as far as America to study at the prestigious university. However, budding young surgeons can be impatient, and with the Anatomy Act still a few years off, the medical schools are only granted one body per year on which to conduct their studies. Enter Cillian Hayes, an ambitious student with lofty expectations, Adelaide Farris, a young woman finding herself at the helm of her deceased father’s candle making business, and Jules Green, the unfortunate soul who seems to have found themself at the wrong end of the gravedigger’s shovel. Mort Safe is a show about how far we’ll go to achieve our goals, and the culture we build around death.

Are you a lover of Blood, Gore, and Cosmic Horror?

WELL HAVE I GOT THE PODCAST FOR YOU!

After Hours by Emily Boone is a story of 3 college students who break into the Salem Museum of Uncanny Relics, where they celebrate the one year anniversary of their podcast and read several short accounts of cryptic and mysterious happenings all occurring around the Town of Salem, slowly they begin to uncover more things about the museum and how not all of the exhibits may be as kitschy as they seem.

I've gotten caught up with the episodes so far and I can say that they are incredibly well written, full of the writers love, and oh so absolutely filled with terror! The first season hasn't been finished yet but it's well worth the listen as it is (it is on a cliffhanger for now but the author plans on releasing the next episode at some point in the near future- I can't wait) it's a story about the secrets hiding in the walls, the things that wait for you in the corner of your eye, it's a story of a bunch of other stories intermingling to reveal the inner workings of something beyond understanding, it's terrifying, it's gorey, and it's beautiful, Emily's description of scenes and the horrors that each character faces is simply amazing.

It's a 10/10 for me and I want you all to feel the infection that is ravaging my body as we speak.

There's content warnings before every episode so you can make sure it's something you're up for and it's really just a fun show, all the characters really like each other and there's so much chemistry between them all!

Currently it's only on YouTube but the author is working on adding it to spotify which will be awesome!

Consider listening to it! You'll definitely be seeing some fanart from me about it so you'll start seeing things whether you like it or not!
