Aziraphale waited patiently in the shallows of the dropoff near the shore of his post on the Eastern Side of the Lake, fidgeting with his ring as the sun rose higher in the sky. He cast anxious glances behind him to scan the area, both for any potential intruders (which were rare) and any visitors from his colony (equally as rare). His side of the Lake went practically forgotten, but one could never be too careful. A flicker of a shadow over head caught Aziraphale's attention, head whipping around to scrutinize the surface.

The pale merman could just make out a shadow near the edge of the shore, and suddenly his anxiety washed away, tension easing from his shoulders. He reached out invitingly towards the shadow, fingers brushing the surface. He didn't need to wait long before there was a splash and his vision was suddenly obscured by a slew of bubbles. Aziraphale remained calm, even as a massive figure descended in front of him, even as they latched clawed fingers around his neck. He reciprocated in fact, reaching a confident hand out to cup a sharp jawline. The bubbles cleared just enough for him to catch a glimpse of golden eyes framed by a shock of red hair before he slid his own blues closed, leaning into the gentle kiss on his lips.

Crowley hummed as he leaned into his touch, claws tugging him forward ardently. Aziraphale obliged him, leaning further into the kiss with a sigh. He wished they didn't need to rush all the time, that they didn't have to fret about getting caught.

Fueled partly by his regret (and a hint of mischief), Aziraphale boldly pressed a tongue forward, slipping between the seam of Crowley's lips to press against his pearly whites.

Crowley growled a warning and he teased over one of his fangs - Aziraphale chuckled but relented, withdrawing for now. Crowley always worried about possibly invenomating him, though Aziraphale assured him that it was unlikely, implicitly showing Crowley how much he trusted him. No, he insisted it even. Regardless, he didn't want to spend what little time they already had together pushing his buttons.

This was so closed to not getting done before May I swear...

Seriously would you believe me if I said this was started at the beginning of the month? Yeah I got heavily distracted.

But I finally got it done! Hurrah!!!

I do have their designs somewhere on paper, but I'll have post them later once I clean them up.

Would absolutely dote on you and spoil you, while simultaneously making you laugh more than you ever had before. His Magicam is filled with moments where he took pictures of you laughing.

Whenever you call him ‘darling’ or ‘honey bunny’, he just melts like chocolate on a warm summer’s day. In fact, you call him those names more than you do his actual name, so he’s always flustered.

The way you’re able to smoothly flirt with him even in public always drives him mad. He always blushes and becomes shy whenever you’re being affectionate, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t like it!

Ruggie Bucchi

Floyd Leech

He is simping. He would drop whatever he has in his hands, be it a tray of food or another person, just to hang out with you. He always gets so happy whenever you visit him in the Lounge.

Whenever you call him ‘darling’ or ‘honey bunny’, he calls you ‘betta fish’ because you’re gorgeous like one. You even once called him a ‘sea puppy’ because he always follows you around, waiting for your attention and praise

He doesn’t get the human version of flirting, so he will try his best. He’s the kind of person where it won’t click until later, then he’s screaming into his pillow while kicking his feet in the air like a middle school girl.

Kalim Al-Asim

He most definitely spoils you. You have the best jewelry and clothing that money could buy, all just because he loves you so much. You do feel kind of guilty, but he reassures you that it didn’t even make a dent in his fortune.

Whenever you call him ‘darling’ or ‘honey bunny’, he gets flustered. He just calls you by your own name or ‘dear’ in response, but the latter is only used rarely. He’s not good with keeping nicknames, so please be patient.

He wouldn’t understand you trying to flirt with him, he’ll just smile and act like he definitely understands what you were trying to do. Jamil often has to tell him what you were doing, which is embarrassing for both parties.

Rook Hunt

He’s head over heels in love. You were just the fairest of them all, topping even Vil in all his glory. So what does he do? He follows you around, of course! Just like he does for everyone else who strikes his interest.

Whenever you call him ‘darling’ or ‘honey bunny’, he calls you a lot of French names in response. ‘Mon amour’ and ‘mon ange’ are popular ones, but he also calls you ‘mon lapin’ for obvious reasons.

You both are very flirtatious, so much so that it makes everyone gag. You aren’t afraid to be lovey-dovey in public. Half the time, you are seated on his lap as you hold his face and press kisses everywhere. It makes him flustered, but he loves it.

Lilia Vanrouge

He is the Roger to your Jessica, alright? He’s goofy, childish at times, hyperactive, etc. He is as in love with you as you are with him. You already act like a married couple, and everyone makes it a point in telling you both.

Whenever you call him ‘darling’ or ‘honey bunny’, he loves responding by calling you his ‘spouse’ and ‘darling’. You use the nicknames more than your real names, and your contact names in each other’s phones are your nicknames for each other.

You both love to flirt with each other when you’re on your own but if you were trailing behind Malleus, you stop. The young prince has an image to upkeep, and you don’t want to mess it up by doing something to tarnish his reputation.

Malleus Draconia

A more graceful match. Malleus loves to follow you around. He always wants to be near or with you, but not in a suffocating way. Every single time, he picks up a rose and gives it to you whenever he sees you.

He loves it when you call him ‘darling’, but he would prefer if ‘honey bunny’ were kept behind closed doors. He will either call you ‘darling’ or ‘dearest’ because he just finds them fitting. It melts both your hearts whenever you see each other and your nicknames are the first thing you say to each other.

You don’t flirt out in the open but on your nightly walks or in private, Malleus is more of a smooth talker than everyone thinks. His words alone are able to sweep you off of your feet, and you’re the one who ends up flustered.

Have a mermaid AU bc ilu

Charlie grew up fascinated by the ocean because of her dad, who used to be a passionate marine biologist working for a famous and well-funded research center. However, something happened that gave Lucifer a fear of the ocean and the creatures living in it. Charlie loves to visit the aquarium/research center where he used to work with her girlfriend and dreams of someday following in his footsteps, despite Lucifer's reservations.

There's one guy at the aquarium whose guts Charlie absolutely hates; Adam, a guy who as far as she's concerned, has no business working with marine life because he keeps smugly going on about 'monsters' that live in the ocean and how a little girl like her would be swallowed up by the ocean in a second. One of his smug remarks gives Charlie the impression that there's something... off happening away from prying eyes at the aquarium. So she convinces Vaggie to sneak in after hours and find out what. And that's when they find the monsters; the merfolk.

Alastor.

The scientists at the aquarium see all merfolk as violent, dangerous creatures who hate mankind and need to be researched - primarily via vivisection - and have their population strictly maintained. Charlie's heart breaks at the sight of Alastor's body covered in scars from the experiments that the scientists have been performing on him. And it becomes immediately clear to her and to Vaggie that he's not just an animal with a somewhat human-like appearance. He's very obvious sentient, even if he can't communicate with them the way they're used to. But he does manage to convince Charlie and Vaggie to bring him a few items from some of the other tanks; pieces of specific types of coral, some rare species of fish and weird sea life, an oyster with a pearl forming in it. Vaggie and Charlie just think he wants some little trinkets or things to remind him of home. What Alastor really needs are ingredients for a spell.

Suddenly Vaggie and Charlie are scrambling to pull a naked man out of the tank before security makes its rounds. They make a clumsy, reckless, frazzled escape with Alastor in tow and Charlie does the only thing she can think to do.

She brings the mute, naked man (he's wrapped in a tarp) to her dad.

-Alastor's tail is like a betta's, with deep black and vibrant red scales. It's dirty and tattered when Charlie and Vaggie find him, however.

-Dunno how/if Vox would fit into the AU yet but he's definitely some sort of electric eel, and definitely still keeps pet sharks. I just really really really like the mental image of his sparky electric eel form and so I had to mention it.

-Alastor is a sea witch. He was captured by Adam while trying to sink one of the researchers' ships and only survived because Sera wanted to study him. He's extremely mistrustful of humans and only plans to use Charlie and Vaggie until he can recover enough to get his revenge on the researchers who captured him.

-Alastor will definitely still eat humans, given a chance.

-Lucifer believes Lilith was killed by a merfolk (Roo) but in truth she was one. Like Alastor, she was a sea witch who used magic to take on a human form. When Roo came hunting after her and her hybrid child, Lilith returned to the ocean to deal with the threat.

-Charlie is a hybrid, but thanks to Lilith's magic she remained mostly human throughout her life. Alastor soon realizes there are spells on her keeping her human and starts working to undo them.

-Charlie tells Lucifer outright what Alastor is and how she and Vaggie found him, and Lucifer doesn't exactly hide the fact that he used to work for the same research center that was torturing Alastor. So they start out pretty mistrustful of and hostile towards one another. However, Lucifer still won't hand Alastor back over to Adam and Sera, which is why Alastor decides not to kill and eat him yet.

-Alastor doesn't have human vocal chords, so while he can understand humans when they speak to them, he can't respond. He can, however, exert some control over the electromagnetic spectrum. Radio waves. He uses this to project sounds through an antique radio in order to 'talk' to everyone.

Ok! I"ll go down the list

1 - Lion - So, the temptation to make him part lionfish is incredible here. There's also the fact that IRL Lionfish are a huge problem in certain parts of the world because they are an invasive species in those areas, as well as incredibly deadly because of their poisonous spines. And considering how deadly Lion and his sons can be... Yeah, I think he's part lionfish. Specifically he has a deep green tail with silver stripes. His spines are black and gold and hold incredibly potent poisons.

2- ??? [REDACTED BY THE ORDER OF THE EMPEROR]]

3- Fulgrim - He is part Coral Beauty Angelfish, and has a beautiful purple tail that fades into a vibrant yellow color. Coral beauties (at least according to the quick google search I did about them) are an incredibly hardy salt water fish, and known for their vibrant colorations.

4 - Perturabo - is part Cabezon - which are known for being Stubborn Bastard Fish who Refuse To Move until they get their next meal, willing to wait days and even weeks before they get their next meal. Which is often other fish, which I feel fits Peter turbo pretty well. He has a pleated tail and fins that are a mottled steel and black color, with the occasional yellow stripe.

5 - Jaghatai - is part Sailfish - which are allegedly one of the fastest fish in the world IRL. He has a bright white tail with red stripes. His fins are also white with red stripes.

6 - Leman - is part Piranha. Not only are Piranhas highly predatory, they also are species of fish that school together. Like how Space Wolves almost always stick together in packs. Also, he still has fangs in this AU. His tail and fins are a lovely slate grey color with an iridescent shine to them.

7 - Rogal - part greenland shark! Cold adapted predator of the sea. Doesn't look like much but is an apex predator in the seas it lives in. He has gorgeous golden fins and tails with black spots.

8 - Konrad - part goblin shark. I didn't pick it just because of the name, but because it is a deep water shark (lives in darkness, just like a certain edgy primarch) that is rarely seen by humans. And. Well. Most humans who saw Konrad didn't exactly live to tell about it, did they? He has a deep blue tail and fins that are surprisingly slender. But powerful and he has a hell of a bite and many, many pointy teeth.

9 - Sanguinius - He has a beautiful silver tail and fin-like wings, as his mer-half is flying fish! Although I was super tempted to make him part-lamprey because of the blood-sucking aspect of him.

10 - Ferrus - as per the suggestions of @angronsjewelbeetle @c-u-c-koo-4-40k and @i-am-a-dragon34 Ferrus is now part Dunkleostous, with dark grey fins and tail on his dorsal side and a silvery ventral side.

11 - ?? [REDACTED BY THE ORDER OF THE EMPEROR]

12 - Angron - part betta fish. He has striking red and gold fins and tail and will square the fuck up if the mood strikes.

13 - Roboute - there is a big temptation to go for the Ultramarlin pun, but I won't give in. What I am going with is part Ribbon Eel, as they have this really lovely blue body with bright yellow dorsal and ventral stripes that go all the way down their bodies. That and G-Man having a long tail to thwap his brothers with makes me giggle.

14 - Mortarion - part pufferfish. Prickly, defensive and poisonous. Can and will puff up. Has grey fins and tail with dark green spots. Spiny.

15 - Magnus: I am torn between making him part carp - because of the Japanese (I think?) myth about a carp jumping up a waterfall in order to become a dragon - which hints at Magnus' incredibly powerful warp abilities or an Abtu, which is a mythical ancient Egyptian fish, because Space Egypt. Thoughts? Opinions?

16 - Horus: Is part dolphin. Known for being very charismatic and charming, but can and will bully other kinds of sea life. Baby-Horus has a deep green tail with gold markings.

17 - Lorgar - I love the Parrot Fish pun suggestion by @c-u-c-koo-4-40k so that is what I am going with. His fins and tail are a deep red color with a silver shimmer to them.

18 - Vulcan - another excellent suggestion by @c-u-c-koo-4-40k for making one of the primarchs part barracuda! I have decided on Vulcan, rather than Magnus. Vulcan’s dorsal fins and tail are a deep green color, the ventral side is black. Along the middle where the two colors meet, he had gold spots.

19 - Corvus: Part of me wants to make Corvus either some kind of shark, or angler fish bc of his whole "sworn vengeance and eternally hunting after Lorgar post-heresy" thing but. Big E is also a being who loves himself some aesthetics and I don't think a part-angler fish boy would fit that. Perhaps part black-tipped shark bc of their stealthiness. Thoughts?

20 - Alpharius and Omegon: are color-pallet changed blue-ring octopi. Instead of a yellow body with bright blue rings, they have vibrant teal tentacles with bright silver ring-patterns across their tentacles and up the fishy parts of their bodies.

I saw that you are an aquarium fan! What's your favourite kind of tank fish? Mine is certainly Neon Innesa but Pterophyllum scalare are also pretty neat!!

And oooh - haha, thanks for getting me started on this! >:) I actually do have a group of neons in my larger community tank. I think they're very pretty fish and they hold a nostalgia for me because my mom had a bunch when I was young. I don't have a tank large enough for angelfish unfortunately, and I've also just in general been won over to the pros of having exclusively non-aggressive community fish in the community fish tank, so I'm not sure if I'd ever go for angels.

That said, if she hadn't been a homicidal shrimp murderer, I cannot overstate how nice it was to put my betta fish into a 20 gallon tank. People are often focused on putting bettas in the minimum safe size of tank for them, and it feels like you rarely see the interesting behaviors you get from bettas in larger tanks discussed. She used the whole tank, patrolled and explored constantly, and it was very clear that compared to the neons, who were often just vibing, most of her actions were performed with some sort of deliberate purpose. I felt almost guilty transferring her into her current 6.4 gallon tank, though it's heavily planted and has shrimp for her to pick at.

My generic "I fucking love betta fish" answer aside, my favorite fish tend to end up being loaches! I have java loaches in my community tank, which are hilarious, active noodles, and my favorite loaches are reticulated hillstream loaches.

They're very pretty: aside from the pattern, they look like tiny little manta rays, and they spend a lot of time sticking to the side of the glass and to smooth rocks. I've got three (soon to be four when I take my friend's extra when he moves) and they're very peaceful fish that do well in a large range of temperatures. Watching them flap at each other or sift sand is always really fun.

I think Floyd would do it with other people too, especially considering how he seems to be the one to most often turn into his merman form out of the trio; both out of his own desire and because he forgets to take the potion sometimes. Be it Idia, Epel, Jamil, Vil, any other person – all of them could get slapped with an eel dick at some point…

And of course, Jade would absolutely do it too! At lease I want to believe that even though he seems more proper than Floyd, he is just as eager to turn into his true form and mate with his partner in the way most natural to him. But not only because it’s more natural to him, but also because he knows that his potential partner will definitely react in a very amusing way… like a cute little prey!

I love the idea of the Octa-trio boys using a potion to use on their partners, partially because I really want to see everyone’s merman design 😭 Idia squiiiid come oooooon, and Goldfishie, and Betta, and Guppy, all of them would look gorgeous. But also I feel like this is something that they could absolutely do, and we’ve mentioned it a couple of times, mostly in our FloRid replies I think.

But it’s like a bonus to them. The main thing that they need is to make sure their partner doesn’t drown/can breathe underwater (although depending on a scenario this one is also optional lol), but every once in a while… every once in a while they start eyeing the person thinking that they would be very hot with certain fish parts down there to make the mating super enjoyable. And ALSO! Another reason why they (and ESPECIALLY Jade) might want to use a potion on their lovers: it makes them so shocked and overwhelmed with all kinds of new feelings and sensations! So helpless underwater, so oblivious and so restless!

Yeah, at least this is how I see it hehe.

So imagine Idia gaming in his room only for him to shriek in surprise when Jade suddenly pops up out of nowhere, scaring him almost to death, and when questions, he admits Ortho letting him in, Anyway, without knowing what to do, Idia offers him to game with him, and to his surprise, Jade agrees, and so they both started gaming together (Jade being typically normie sucks at gaming or heck he purposely plays bad to piss Idia off lol). I like to imagine they're Mario Kart, and yes, you guessed it right, Jade is playing as Toad (Get it cuz Toad is a mushroom? hehe).

Wholesome moments like these are VERY rare with the Tweels, but it happens, and Idia is reminded of the time; He and Jade bonded in Harveston, and he starts to feel butterflies in his stomach only for Jade to ruin the moment by opening his mouth saying the most horrific stuff, loudly telling idia how cute this mushroom videogame character is (aka toad) and how he would love to observe him more clearly and even dissect him with that creepy smile of his. Idia is absolutely frightened and immediately regretted offering to play games with him. Anyway they fucked after this lol.

Can you imagine Jade whispering sultry into Idia’s ear while holding him tight, saying he wants to continue playing games with him, but what "games" he's referring to is a mysterious :) Strangely enough idia not wanting to admit it but deep down he's definitely aroused.

Also, the idea of Jade buying Toad related Merch and stuff cuz Toad is now his favourite character after playing Mario Kart with idia is hilarious to me cuz you know how he feels about mushrooms and Toad being a mushroom and all. (I even saw Fanart from Japanese artists drawing Jade and Toad together, haha). Imagine Floyd coming back to their room after a stressful day at the mostro lounge only to see Jade's side of the room filled with Toad plushies and Merch hahaha as if he didn't hate mushrooms already. (Don’t let him find out about Toadette).

Or maybe the perfect game for Jade to fill up his God complex is the Sims 4, lol. That way, he can control the characters as much as he likes even though Jade is not into gaming.

This is such a fun scenario, of course Ortho would let Jade in, he is all for niisan hanging out with his friends at his room 😭 And of course Jade would choose Toad as a character. I love it when people draw him with all kinds of mushroom-themed characters. And also how you (well, Idia in this scenario) could start thinking that maybe even Jade is capable of not being cursed for an hour or so, only to realise that it was stupid of him to assume that… But oh well, at least this whole thing ended wonderfully (with sex)!

This man really plays with Idia’s mind in the most satisfying way possible. Play your “games”, boys…

Also, I really want to see Jade play the Sims! He is good at making terrariums, right? He’ll probably build the most perfect unsuspicious-looking home with some kind of a torture trap, like the pool trick but somehow much worse. And he’ll figure out how to do it surprisingly fast…

The morning after Sebastian does that passive aggressive condescending smile and while cleaning off all the...slobber. His ungloved hands are possessively stroking Ciel's cheek and under *that* eye. He slowly tilts Ciel's head back against the tub so Seb can look at him from above. (To remind him of who's really in charge here. Sebastian may let Ciel call the shots but he's the one with the true power.) "Bo-chan, letting such filth touch you. Tsk tsk" (Like Sebastian hasn't marked him for life, is no longer planning on eating his soul and makes him a demon later🙄). After dark, he educates Ciel on how it's done properly, since he clearly needs another lesson and he wouldn't be one hell of a butler if he didn't teach his young mater properly.

*Ahem* anyway....you two are wonderful and I hope your day is going well. You have given me so many cursed thoughts to daydream about.

Oh poor Sebastian, of course he would hate being treated that way lol Ciel knows just the right way to annoy the hell out of him, even though in the end it’s Sebastian who gets to have the last laugh… or is he? He had to clean Ciel after whatever Finny did to him, so… I guess Finny is the true winner of this whole situation either way lol

We don’t really read fanfics, so no, we don’t know this one. And while we are aware of Yu-Gi-Oh, we haven’t really watched it either :( But thank you for your recommendations nonetheless.

I know the TWST localization is polarising, to say the least, but at least we don't have characters blaming patriarchal societal demands (though Vil does kind of scolds Epel for "gendering" dance moves) or random gamergate references (if you know, you know), or the creators straight up changing elements of the story and characters, like making a GNC cis character trans, and the localizers don't seem to hate the source material

I don’t know, while the things you’ve mentioned weren’t really changed, just like you said (and to be completely fair, Vil’s complain at least was accurate to what he said), and while I don’t want to claim that the localisers hate the source material (I don’t think it’s the case at all), in stuff that I’ve seen they seem to be… disconnected from/indifferent to it somehow? Sometimes. This + the way they phrase some things to keep things vague, or add unnecessary descriptions…

Then again, we haven’t watched anything with the EN translation in more than a year, so I can’t say for certain. It absolutely could’ve been worse, but it also could’ve been much much better in my opinion!

She would often look at herself in the mirror, checking out her new appearance while asking her brother which would suits her the best. She enjoys the feeling of dressing up, the result of spending efforts to make herself looks pretty. The Schoenheit siblings both understand that beauty isn't something you can get naturally, and also not something to conceal away.

Her fondest memory when she was a young child is her first photoshoot. She still remembers the anxiety, but also the sensation lingering on her fingertips when the camera, lighting, and people's gaze are all on her. It was a complete success, with her brother being the first person to congratulate her with a smile, she felt like she could belong to the spotlight of modeling with confidence, her father too, was very proud of her and support her career fully from that point onwards.

Anyway. Hmm I'd imagine most of the cast wouldn't be from the deep sea, since the idea is them having to go down and survive. I know I'd spend way too long picking out breeds though, so I'm gonna be strong and not do that. HOWEVER.

I could totally see Sam being part Coelacanth.

They give me tough, hardy vibes. And are ANCIENT, theyre one of the few prehistoric breeds still found today. And yknow, cloning, living forever, etc etc.

That's the only one to come to mind immediately. Except I'll still die on the hill that c!Dream is a betta fish. And I could see Techno as some sort of shark.

But yeah i dont reaallly know that many deep-sea species because the deep ocean FREAKS ME OUT.. /pos? I think they should all find some cool underwater magic bioluminescence somehow, that'd be real neat

KNY Hashira Shitpost; Merfolk AU

You see! I watched the live action of “the Little Mermaid” yesterday and wanted to change the Hashira into merpeople so ya!

The Hashira

Under the phrase “Hashira”, nine merpeople are the personal guardians of the Royal Ubuyashiki family and the kingdom the Ubuyashikis rule from dangerous life like sharks, eels, serpent/octopus monsters, etc.

The Hashira use weapons like katanas and staffs to fend off these threats. Three of the Hashira use different weapons for their own comfortability

The Hashira guard the kingdom at night and kill those creatures to ensure the merpeople race aren’t further killed

All merpeople have hydrokinetic magic powered by lunar energy. Through moonstone pendants, they can bend water, control sealife and alternate swimming speeds

Sea monsters’ magic is ten times stronger than merpeople, but have a bigger mental affect. Darkness corrupts their mindsets quicker

Tomioka Giyuu

Giyuu is a cobalt blue zebrafish merman

Spends a lot of his spare time collecting rare ores and shells to make them into gifts to give to Tanjiro and Nezuko

Giyuu has his own private cave, that basically all the Hashira plus the Royal family don’t know about. He can get away from socialisation and recollect himself in silence

Kocho Shinobu

Shinobu is a teardrop butterflyfish merwoman

Cleans up toxic waste with the butterfly girls in her free time, for all to be recycled into poisons she uses in her missions

Shinobu can’t stand being above the seawater for too long, the sun is too hot and the air makes her skin feel itchy. She is very petty with her needs

Kyojuro Rengoku

Kyojuro is a firefish goby merman

Gathers and brings back round troubled sealife to the sea. He feels required to make sure the innocent beings of the waters are safe

Kyojuro spends pretty much all his free time with his little brother, sightseeing the land people at the beach

Tengen Uzui

Tengen is a mandarinfish merman

His overall style is so flamboyant and over-the-top, that most are blinded by the mere sight of him

Tengen, with his excellently-singing wives, create music for the underwater kingdom and hosts his own music club

Tokito Muichiro

Muichiro is a transparent surgeon fish merman

Gets lost so often that the Hashira have to drench his tail in sticking glowing dust to track him down more easily

Muichiro always runs into those dangerous creatures like sharks and octopus, but ends up playing with them

Kanroji Mitsuri

Mitsuri is a bubblegum pink betta fish merwoman

Loves decorating tails and hairs of her fellow merwomen and is very skilled at the art. She can groom tails in a few minutes tops

Mitsuri has a incredibly beautiful singing voice and makes up random catchy songs on the fly to sing as she swims

Gyomei Himejima

Gyomei is a stonefish monster+gray snapper merman hybrid

This merbeing hybrid can easily withstand the pressure of the deeper waters and studies the sea life deeper below

Gyomei has very poisonous spines all over his tail so he has to be very weary of contact with other merpeople

Shinazugawa Sanemi

Sanemi is a blackwing flying fish merman

A very speedy swimmer and can make a gliding jump for 350m at a time. His sleek tail and fins help double his speed

Sanemi spends lot of his time tracking down threats to take care of them, even outside of his duty as a Hashira, since it’s fun to him

Iguro Obanai

Obanai is a banded sea serpent monster+swordtail fish merman hybrid

Uses his magic a lot as it’s a effective way to restrain the enemies, but eventually has to be restrained himself until that mental effect disappears

Obanai covers his mouth with special seaweed and has it as precaution bandages, incase he comes across a injured being
