TF141 with a Sassy Reader

Price: He can appreciate some good sass, as long as it’s appropriate. God knows how often he’s been sassed by one of his soldiers, especially Gaz, so he doesn’t mind it, to some degree. You can sass him if you want, he’ll sass you back if he can think of a comeback that’s fitting. However, if you sass him for the sake of being mean to him instead of trying to get a good chuckle out of something, or maybe making a situation less dire, then he won’t be as appreciative of it. Don’t get me wrong, Price could shout at you if he really wanted to, but he’d much rather make you feel some guilt and remorse for inappropriate behavior. Although it’s fairly rare that happens, it will happen if you get on his nerves too much. Will then ask you if you think what you said was really appropriate in such a situation. You can then apologize still and all will be good as long as you keep your mouth shut. Once he’s calmed down, you can crack a joke at his expense again. Again, he’s used to such things as a captain, but keep it professional and stay polite, for the most part, and you won’t have a problem with him.

Gaz: He sasses you right back. He’s not particularly afraid of authority as long as they’re up for some good natured fun. So it really doesn’t matter if you’re above or below him rank wise. As soon as you open your mouth and some sass leaves it, he’ll immediately have thought of something to say in retaliation. I wouldn’t be surprised if you small sass battles could go on for a while. It’s a game to him, the first person that doesn’t know how to respond anymore simply loses, end of story. Will slightly mock you if you did lose, though. After all, you use such big words, and then you lose to him of all people? Surely, you can do better. It’s not impossible to out-sass Gaz, but he always has something stupid to say if he can, so it would take a while before you could properly beat him at his own game. He doesn’t give up easily either. Even as the conversation is about to be over, if he can think of something to say he’ll just say it. Sort of ends up looking forward to talking with you, sometimes he just needs to be a little shit who runs his mouth without any consequences. Sassing Price sometimes brings consequences with it, but not with you. With you he’ll be as lightheartedly mean as he can be.

Ghost: He’s been shit talked so much, he doesn’t really care anymore. He’s a scary and intimidating guy, so naturally people have something to say about him. However, most of them usually don’t have the courage to say anything like it to his face. So yeah, he would be a bit surprised if someone actually did sass him for a bit. Would go quiet for a moment, processing that someone just said something mean to him. When he wants to be, even Ghost can be a bit sassy himself, though in his case he usually just ends up sounding mean more so than anything else. Will “sass” you back when he can. It’s a bit intimidating from someone like him, especially since his sass borders on threatening, but you can be sure he won’t go through with it. He just really wants to see how far he can push this entire thing and what he needs to do in order for you to stop running your mouth and cower in fear as well. That never comes, however, so he ends up sassing/threatening you a bit as well. I could see you becoming buddies over this, it’s really rare for someone to talk to him like that. It makes him smile when you can think of an especially good comeback. Might sass someone alongside you, if they really deserve it.

Soap: He definitely has some fun with you. Although he can be quite sassy himself as well when he wants to be, he usually just hops on the jokes of other people. Sees you sassing him as some kind of challenge, so you can be certain he’ll challenge you right back. After all, if you can run your mouth then surely you can prove yourself as well, right? It’s all a competition in his eyes and he’s somewhat of a sore loser. Though, if you really are all talk and there’s nothing behind what you’re saying, then he’ll get Gaz involved as well, thinking that, because his buddy is very sassy himself, there will be some fun sassing going on. He’s usually right, but he still stands by what he said: You should be able to prove yourself after everything you have to say. Soap doesn’t take too kindly to being sassed for no reason whatsoever. He will take you up on what you said and will have you do it better than he does. If you are better than him, fine. You get to run your mouth as much as you want, he can’t really complain then. However, if you end up being worse at something than he is then he’s earned every right to sass you to hell and back instead. It’s all fair in his eyes. If you improve you get to sass him again, but good luck.

For new users who are confused by tag novels

It’s an ancient tumblr practice from back when reblogged posts looked like this:

If you reblogged and added a new caption, it would indent all the previous text, and if someone reblogged from you and added a caption, it would indent again.

Which means sometimes popular posts would become completely unreadable, especially on tumblr’s mobile app.

To avoid this, people would refrain from commenting directly in the post, and would instead take their two cents to the tags. Anything from small comments, to incredible jokes, to in depth commentary could be hidden away in the tags to extend the longevity of the original post.

Obviously they’ve since fixed the format, but we’ve never stopped using tags this way. For those struggling with when to caption and when to tag their responses, maybe consider “is this addition worth making the entire post harder to read”, as that’s where it all started.

January 2nd, January 8th and January 13th. It feels like the 2024 year has been going on for more than three weeks already, with each week marked by a massive full scale air raid attack of russia on Ukrainians.

Each night begins the same: a message at around 2 am, reporting from 8 to 11 missile carrying planes getting off at russian airports and moving towards the shooting positions. Then at 6 am the full attack begins. Guided missiles swarm in the air, and around 6:30 am several sonic missile planes also launch the deadly weaponry towards the cities. Our air defenders do their best to protect us and at around 9 or 10 am everything ends.

This feels like nights of hell when you live far away from the frontlines. Cities like Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kherson and thousands and thousands located around the frontlines experience this everyday. But these nights become a nerve-wracking challenge for citizens of every corner of Ukraine (if we don't count all the other air raids which are less full-scaley, less weaponry is launched then). Kyiv, Kharkiv, Myrhorod, Lviv, Khmelnytsky and other cities in the west, north and centre-east of Ukraine have been targeted in these recurring air raids.

About the weaponry, these air raids are different from usual ones because all kinds of weaponry is used by russians during these. Sonic ballistic missiles "kinzhal" or daggers, which you can hear breaking your city apart just two or three minutes after they were launched thousands of kilometers away. These are only destroyed by the Patriot air defense complexes and it's hard af to do so. Our defenders are showing incredible precision but the debris still damages buildings and murders people. Ballistic missiles and guided missiles that can change their direction at any time, even circle around different cities until they are right above the targets. Shaheds, the kamikaze drones. All launched from different parts of russia and from occupated parts of Ukraine.

Personally, I have no right to complain as a person living in well-protected Kyiv, but hearing explosions very close to your home, hiding on the cold floor of the corridor and shaking at the thought that you live on the high enough floor to die in the debris if your home is hit... all this makes me lose sleep at night after I see the dreaded message at 2 am. It hasn't been 2 weeks since the new year but it feels like it's been ages. You try to find new beginnings and motivation to live, but you can't really shake off the feeling that tonight you were lucky to survive but you might not be the next time.

Do I have to repeat how important it is to donate to the Ukrainian army? Do I need to repeat that it's all russians, again and again, killing my people, ruining my home, while others "forgive" them for their horrible deeds? Do I have to say this again, that I'm only here writing this because of all the weaponry given to and bought by Ukraine, due to the support from different countries, and most importantly all the blood and lives of my people given for us to live? What can I do to stop this?

Please, if you read this far, help us survive and win, so that we never have to go through nights and days like these again.

i’ll go first: libra rising 🥳

backstory:

ever since i started my current job (09.06.23), in libra rising fashion i’d dress up and color coordinate to the GODS everyday! hair was always done too! and since the last week or two of september, i was consistently doing everything i said i would. waking up at 6am, putting all my attention into my podcast, rarely even using my phone! you see, i’ve been into astrology since december 2020, but went thru some personal things and fell off with it around late 2021 early 2022, so i don’t recall studying anything pertaining to an eclipse. i attempted to research, but nothing caught my attention, so i was just gonna go with the flow! afterall, i was hearing nothing but good surrounding it.

the real tea ☕️:

i got sick the same week of the eclipse so I was out of work for two days. as a 6H pisces even though i felt better, i wanted nothing more, but to stay in my bed. but no, i did the “adult” thing and went back (👎🏽). now mind you, i work with children so for me to have an off day, will affect the energy that i give to the kids; but the state that i was in, i couldn’t have cared any less about the needs of children, i was just so out of it! i’m the teacher that talks, but i didn’t let out a PEEP, i was so exhausted. (god forbid, a human being have an off day 🙄)

so this last week and a half or two, i’ve been mentally elsewhere, like not even on the same plain as everyone else. still color coordinating, but have not been dressing up at all! my hair? same twisted style that wasn’t even supposed to see the light of day 😂. appetite? we don’t know her! all the food i cook has just been giving me icky vibes! and ofc, my skin has suffered tremendously from my shitty diet! (downside of being a libra rising ☹️)

one positive unexpected event did happen tho 😅. one of my tik toks blew up and is still receiving traction. it has upwards of 1.4 million views. it was one of my shitposts that i didn’t think twice about posting, and what-do-ya-know, that’s the on that blows up lol! not complaining, just was shocked hahaha.

i am still confused on the significance of a solar eclipse, and the effect it’s supposed to have, but I guess I’ll just have to wait and see! 😊
