Tomorrow is gonna be the second anniversary of the invasion ruzzia launched against Ukraine, and the tenth anniversary of ruzzian aggression since 2014
Please, support us, keep talking about us, we are still being attacked and killed everyday
Make sure to donate to Come Back Alive, to Serhii Prytula, to any Ukrainian creative to keep us all afloat
War and genocide isn't a trend for social media, those are not some silly things for people to talk about and then forget once it's not "popular" anymore, those are actual atrocities that shouldn't even be a thing in the 21st century

one of the biggest man-made environmental disaster in decades!
the Kakhovka HPP is completely destroyed and can’t be restored.
Tumblr media
water continues to flood Kherson, Nova Kakhovka and other cities and towns, taking lives and destroying Ukrainian ecology;
Tumblr media
over 200,000 residents of surrounding settlements lost access to drinking water;
there is a threat of nuclear disaster due to possible cooling issues at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant;
over 150 tons of machine oil have contaminated the Dnipro River. there is risk of a further 300+ tons leaking;
Tumblr media
river water drifts russian mines, they detonate in the flooding zones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
regardless, thousands of animals, both wild and domestic, affected by this flooding. Ukrainians save everyone they can find. the search for animals and people continues for the second day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the scale of this terrorist act is difficult to predict. it threatens hundreds of thousands of lives — flooding will continue for at least another 4 days. international organizations created to save people and animals in such cases do not respond. Ukrainians were left alone for the second day in a row with a large-scale disaster!
please do not be indifferent, spread information, reliable information from the Ukrainians who are experiencing this catastrophe in real-time. do not believe russian propaganda, support Ukraine and Ukrainians in our battle for life!

Yes, they have done it, the act of ecocide. It was predicted almost a year ago when it was first reported that the Russians had mined the dam. They've been preparing for it. Over the past few months, they have been draining the reservoir while simultaneously filling all reservoirs in Crimea, because blowing up this dam means no more fresh water supply to Crimea. So everyone who claimed that Russia invaded Ukraine to secure fresh water for Crimea can now go fuck themselves.
Of course they first claimed it was Ukraine's doing. Although some occupiers already happily admit that it was russia who blew it up, and call for blowing up more of Ukraine's infrastructure.
It's typical russian scorched earth tactics. Blowing up the dam can possibly prevent the Ukrainian army landing on the left bank of the Dnipro, and it frees russian troops from the left bank, meaning they can be sent as reinforcement to other front lines, for example, in the Donetsk region.
It is probably the greatest ecological catastrophe since Chornobyl, with thousands of people affected, left homeless, entire villages destroyed probably forever. But the russians don't give two fucks about that. They don't care about any life. Their main objective is not necessarily to claim the land for themselves, but rather to ensure it is not Ukrainian. If they cannot have it, they want to leave it uninhabitable.
Edit: not sure this is a new video, so removed it for now

The girls singing in this video were killed in a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia an hour after the performance 💔
Svitlana Semeikina and Kristina Spitsyna were performing to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Their parents are now also defending Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
The girls were only 19 and 21 years old. On August 9, they were killed by a Russian missile.

Hello.
I want to remind you that the full-scale war has been going on for a year. last year, my small town was one of the first to wake up to russia's attack: our radar station was destroyed. a whole year has passed. many people are gone. many cities and villages were wiped off the face of the earth. many animals, birds, plants, forests, fields, our entire ecosystem has been affected. seas, rivers, russia polluted everything. please, do not forget about Ukraine and remember that russia brings death, suffering and pain. people keep dying. every week my small town meets processions of fallen soldiers. and so throughout Ukraine. it hurts a lot. it's not fair. This is scary.
Thank you for staying with me.
this is how we see off our heroes on their last journey

At night, the Russian occupiers fired at a medical facility in Kharkiv, in the buildings of which at the time of the missile attack there were more than a thousand people - 900 patients and two and a half hundred staff - Mayor Terekhov about the night attack on Kharkiv
Fortunately, the missiles hit the ground and not the buildings of the medical facility - otherwise it is difficult to imagine the number of dead and injured. There is one injured person.
As for the destruction, several buildings were damaged by the blast wave: windows were broken, roofs were damaged, power lines, water supply and other engineering communications were damaged. All relevant services are on site.

Oleksandra Kostetska, widow of a fallen Ukrainian soldier Kostyantyn Miroshnichenko, did a photoshoot with the same photographer who took their pictures as a couple.
"I will show you my new reality. As a widow. Igor Yefimov, you started photographing us as a couple at the beginning of our relationship, now you have taken the end for me. Mirosh [Kostyantyn's military call sign] taught me a lot, now the last lesson is to live without him and remain strong. But it's hard without his warmth/smile/laughter/hugs/bedtime talks, and my favorite, running my fingers across his cheeks and stroking his beard. I love, but I am no longer loved".

Oh to be a Ukrainian and accidentally check the notes about yet another genocidal act of russians against your people only to discover a tumblr user marxizm4eva reblogged by blorbostalin go at the Ukrainian OP with 'well, actually, here's the truly reliable kremlin source saying poor little russia didn't do it, you uncultured American spy!' because, apparently, anti-american imperialism implies believing that only westerners can post on the internet, there's surely no way those backward wildlings from Eastern Europe could have WiFi and know English!

The general store in Velyka Komyshyvakha, Kharkiv Oblast, is a chilling monument of the invader's mind.
The writings left on the walls by russian soldiers who occupied the town reveal their cruelty and genocidal beliefs.

730 days...
To be honest, I can't believe it. It's already 10 years of war and 730 days of full-scale invasion.
I have not much to say, 'cause this war turned my life and the lives of other Ukrainians into a completely new reality. I am not sure I would ever "heal" from this all. Is it even possible?
Today, 24 February 2024... I wanna say thank you to the people who still support us in any way possible.
I wanna say thank you, to Ukrainians, who are dealing with it, doing all possible. I wanna say thank you to our defenders.
And... Please, if you have a possibility, light up the candle in memory of the ones, who won't ever meet new day. In memory of our civilians and heroes.
