Draco x sister fem!reader

Summary: Umbridge doing the torture scar’s to Y/n Malfoy, and Draco’s pissed and tells their parnets.

Authors Note: Part 2? Where their parents got Draco’s owl and come to Hogwarts concerned and pissed? (& they find out why she got detention in the first place)

“Where have you been?” Draco asked as Y/n finally came and sat at the Slytherin in the great hall.

“Umbridge gave me detention for the entire month.” Y/n scoffed annoyed at the way things had become. School was where she felt she could relax some, since Malfoy Manner wasn’t a place of relaxation. But with all the changes school was feeling a lot like home.

“Why?” Draco furrowed his brow concerned and concerned and confused for his sister.

“She said it was because I kept my desk’s to disoganized.” Y/n shrugged not to sure why she got detention in the first place.

“Thats bull.” Draco scowled, his sister was always so clean and kept. Draco didn’t believe it for a second. Besides why would someone get detention for that?

“I agree.” Y/n nodded.

“At least its just a month.” He concluded hoping to ease her nerves that Draco was sure she was feeling. Knowing their parents were to hear of this and not be thrilled.

“Yeah.” Y/n sighed, hoping that the letter going home about this detention would get lost.

It wasn’t home she should of been worrying about as she soon learned. Once she started her series of detentions Y/n Malfoy found out who the true monster in Hogwarts was.

Detention was terribly stressful and anxiety ridden. On top of that she had gotten a letter from home that wasn’t the nicest ither. But from the words written it didn’t sound like they were told ‘why’ she was having detentions, and y/n felt like if they knew ‘why’ then they wouldn’t be nearly as mad.

But Y/n was to afraid to write back. What if it made things worse, what if Umbridge intercepted her letter?! No way, she couldn’t risk it and make her punishments worse.

But it was becoming increasingly hard to hide her hand from her brother. Their twin bond didn’t help and she could tell Draco knew something was up. Y/n was worried if she told him that he might view her as weak.

All that came crashing down around her one day in the library. Draco came storming in and headed straight towards her and sat down. Determined to get answers.

“What's wrong Draco?” Y/n asked once he sat down having watched his dramatic entrance, and noticing her antsy behavior.

“Why’s your hand wrapped?” He asked. It had been bothering him for awhile, he was already concerned about his twin 24/7. But seeing her hurt was ripping him apart on the inside.

“I got hurt.” Y/n cast her gaze downward, nervously picking at a loose thread on her skirt.

“How? Let me see.” Draco jumps immediately into protective mode, very concerned.

“Draco-”

Y/n tried to stop him but he had already reached foreward and grabbed abhold of her hand. Pulling off the bandage wrap and exposing the carvings into her hand that would definitely scar.

“What’s this?” Draco questioned with wide eye’s looking between Y/n and her torn up hand. Seeing horrible, nasty, un-true words carved into her hand made Draco want to cry. And with looking into his sisters eye’s seeing all the emotions and tears in them broke his heart. “Y/n, where’d you get this? Who did this to you?”

Y/n knew there was no point in trying to lie to him now that he’s seen the evidence. “Umbridge, and at detention. It’s her version of it.”

“This is unethical and torture.” He growled in anger that someone dared to harm his sister.

“Trust me, I know.” Y/n pulled her hand back and wrapped it back up again, so it wouldn’t get infected but also so no one would see.

“How many times?” Draco asked even though he knows he doesn’t want to hear it’s been more than once, he knows it’s been more than 1 time.

“4. So far. But I still have the rest of the month.” She told him shakily, nervous about having to go through more of this torture.

“I’ll tell father and mother about this. She’s not going to touch you again.” Draco states pulling her into him to comfort her, noting her shakiness, which he’s very sure was going to lead to a panic attack.

That night after dinner Draco wrote a letter explaining the situation to their parents on paper, and sent it around midnight to assure no one would notice anywhere in the castle.

hp next gen friend groups

rose weasley, scorpius malfoy, albus potter. it’s like the golden trio but rose is thirdwheeling sometimes. but rose is the level headed intelligent one, scorpius is the sweetheart, and albus is the “dark moody mysterious one”.

i think they’d be very reluctant to let new people even momentarily insert themselves into the friend group.

Random thought but I love it when in more lighthearted, almost crack-ish Tomarry/Tomione fics, Abraxas ends up being the lovable idiot character. The type where Tom would just look at him and contemplate sending him a crucio but would instead just shake his head in resignation, knowing he's a lost cause regardless. He'd still allow him to be his friend (or bff if Abby has anything to say about it) but atp its better to leave him be unless he does something headache inducing enough to warrant a response. He won't say no to the other Knights whacking him upside the end for being ridiculous though.

Ofc, Abraxas would probably still end up making an off-hand prejudiced comment bc all the stuff/info he was raised with won't disappear in a day even with a time travelling gryffindor intervention, but Harry or Hermione will be there to set him straight by probably cutting off his hair or smtg - appearance altering related hexes that'd make Abby scream and grovel. Hard to be too mad at him when he looks so genuinely distraught lol, but he definitely would've learned his lesson.

It's hilarious considering how the Malfoy family actually are in canon. Alternatively, I don't mind Lucius taking the position of blonde lovable idiot if it was a timetravel to the marauders era with focus more on the slytherins (if it was an _ x sev or _ x regulus fic). Wouldn't say it's a common or popular characterization of them but I still love it when it pops up. I can also adapt and hate their guts if their characters are closer to canon in more serious fics, but that's besides the point.

No matter what little good the sleep you did manage to get you were found at the dining room table. Maps scattered across the surface to plot where each of the listed former Gaunt properties up for sale by the vultures. “What is this?” Neville asked as the first to pop up at your side.

“One of these has a bridge Marvolo rigged to collapse. If we buy it I have to bury an enchanted pumpkin beside the Southern gate for it.”

“Enchanted how?” Your aunt asked as she came to look over the properties scattered across the maps.

“Dream not specific. Just enchanted.”

Your father nodded and confirmed, “We find the right one we’ll go through a fine spread of options. We still miss it then we can just rebuild the bridge over again.”

“We try to do that and we’ll have to bury Fae’s foot between two Pixie skulls and bound by a twine of wound Jarvey fur beneath the Beech tree or the land will always buckle and the waters turn stale.” You answered and your uncle chuckled, having enchanted over a notepad and pen to do so for when they would inspect the properties.

“Have you sketched the bridge?” He asked and you shuffled the maps to bring out a sketch he placed the note with it and said kindly, “We will make a good search of it and ready the pumpkins before our tours and require drafts of the properties in advance to know how many to ready. Anything else?”

“There’s one with a bog, we’re supposed to stay away from it. Something about a Warlock’s curse and some, gopher wood? Or rather a daughter is not supposed to have it, just a cursed son. There’s, a purity of the womb line.”

Narcissa spoke up, “Ah, so if you have a son it would latch onto them. Noted.” She said and her husband nodded making note of that as well.

Sweetly your father helped you to gather everything to make room for the food being hovered to the table by the House Elves that we’re glad to see you in a slightly better mood.

what do you think of lucius as a parent? i know he’s loving and caring but at the same time i feel like he’s also a bit abusive? i know people can be both but when seeing fandom talking about it, they never consider the two options together? i wonder what you think!

I think Lucius loves Draco truly, deeply. He shows this in the books over and over again. He listens to Draco’s frankly annoying rants about Harry, uses all his money and power to get Draco whatever he wants, and defends him with his life without any hesitation. In my opinion, there’s no way canon Lucius would willingly, intentionally harm Draco.

That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t hurt him though. Lucius has strict beliefs about how a Malfoy, a pureblood should be and Draco’s crushed under his expectations. He condescends Draco when he falls short (Borgin and Burkes) and teaches him that disobeying their tradition (being a “blood traitor”) gets you disowned. Draco’s talking about muggleborns getting murdered at age twelve, just imagine the kind of shit he’s hearing in that house.

He shows his affection materially, I don’t think he’s actually having meaningful, affirming conversations with him. Draco has to keep trying to read him and how he’s seen by him. That’s a big factor on why Draco emulates him like a charicature because it’s the safest, easiest way to be sure about Lucius’ approval.

They’ll have a complicated relationship forever regardless of how they handle their own post war reckonings. I think Draco’s going to feel a lot of conflict over how angry and resentful he is, and Lucius will struggle to accept that Draco’s not his idealized model of a pureblood. I can see him conceding despite his every instinct because nothings worth losing Draco. He’s gonna complain and be passive aggressive the whole way and Draco’s always gonna be a little messed up over Lucius’ conditional regard.

It’s easy to label him as abusive and be done with it, but a parent who genuinely loves but still hurts their kid injures in a different, more insidious and confusing way.

Hi im looking for a fic that i read in ff.net, all I can remember was a scene where Hermione is some sort of dark lady and has the Malfoys in their house and he asks for Draco so she spares their lives or something and they give it to her like he’s gonna have him kidnapped or something and then is found out that Hermione is just pretending and she and Draco are lovers and members of the order they end the death eaters that day and Draco tells her later in the library? Or bedroom that mcgonagall is proud and that the order members are safe, I can’t remember anything else I don’t know if it was this the final chapter or if it was a one shot, hope you can help me
