ODE TO MURALIDHAR (KRSNA)
O Divine Flute-Player:
How You attract souls towards You
With Your alluring melodies
Is beyond comprehension.
You melt all in the crucible of Divine Beauty
And Love Profound!
Sweet Muralidhar,
Let all your bhaktas taste
The sweetness of Your Sacred nectar,
Savored through the remembrance of Your Holy Name!
Love Divine, Sweet Love!
Come, play the Tune of Bliss
In the flute of our Spine!
Our Souls shall then sing,
Your ambrosial melodies.
Let the Wind of Your Divine Breath
Ascend and Descend through us!
Then shall the song of Divine Praise resound
Through us, Your intoxicated lovers!

Kriya Yoga is referred to by Krishna, in a stanza of the Bhagavad Gita: “Offering inhaling breath into the outgoing breath, and offering the outgoing breath into the inhaling breath, the yogi neutralizes both these breaths; he thus releases the life force from the heart and brings it under his control.” The interpretation is: “The yogi arrests decay in the body by an addition of life force, and arrests the mutations of growth in the body by apan (eliminating current). Thus neutralizing decay and growth, by quieting the heart, the yogi learns life control.” —Autobiography of a Yogi

Namaste. 🙏 I've started a Facebook group, Yoga In The West, where I can share all my knowledge of Yoga. I have lost all my friends in order to rebuild and reengineer myself. This is how I would like to reintegrate back into society. Very slowly, and very carefully.
I know it's been years since I last posted, but no one on my Facebook will join me, and I am tired of feeling alone and suicidal. I just want genuine connection, from one soul to another.
Thank you. Blessings be upon everyone of you. 🙏❤️

Choosing a spiritual path is an incredibly personal journey. We are all on a different journey, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution to spirituality. We must take the time to really reflect, soul search, and discover what our own needs require.
Being in India, I have been thinking a lot about my spiritual path and trying to be more intentional, devoted and laser focused. If you are a yogi, then chances are that like many of us, you have sought to lead a life full of purpose and happiness – free from suffering. You may have read about the philosophies which make up yoga teachings. But there is something fundamental and underlying in…

When Paramahansa Yogananda was very young, before he met his Kriya Yoga guru Sri Yukteswar Giri, he was initiated into the path of Radhaswami (Sant Mat, Surat Shabd Yoga). See my article on this: https://santmat.tumblr.com/post/77814298813/the-yogananda-sant-mat-radhasoami-connection-a
And one will find "echos of shabd", if you will, in his teachings, whether understood and appreciated these days or not. Like for instance, in, The Second Coming of Christ, he writes:
"By listening to this omnipresent sound the consciousness of the body -- caged soul begins gradually to spread itself from the limitations of the body into omnipresence. One listening to this cosmic sound will find his consciousness spreading with it to Limitlessness."
Also see references to cosmic sound or the sound of AUM in the book, Metaphysical Meditations.

When we entered the Cosmic Energy Cycle during the hierogamic event of the Cosmic Twinned Universal Melchizedek Suns, every living being, angelic human in this Universe began to merge some layer with the Partiki Grid of their spiritual double or gender twin that exists in the parallel universe.
Partiki Grids are electromagnetic instruction sets which are arranged with both light and sound in which anti-particle and particle forms are interconnected and merged together. To better understand the interconnection of the unified fields that span even into parallel matrices where we have corresponding spiritual doubles, is knowing that during the Universal Ascension we can learn to draw in higher frequencies to expand our consciousness. This growth process includes merging with our spiritual double’s Partiki Grid which is less dense and moving through the parallel grids at much faster rates than at this location of matter density. The process of connecting with the spiritual double’s Partiki Grid may at first seem to be counterintuitive. However, in order to catch the ascension wave of extremely high frequencies carried in the Partiki Grid of our spiritual doubles located in the parallel universe, our physical, mental and emotional body must be very still and quiet. Holding the neutral zero point is what allows us to integrate with our spiritual double’s higher frequency Partiki Grid and merge into the organic sequences of Diamond Sun DNA activation, which offers a quantum leap of consciousness growth into spiritual freedom.

Starting the Purification Process
Tumblr media
Purification starts with your thoughts and your body will fall in line. Once one allows thoughts of lust in their mind, they proliferate into every problem we see in the world today (as well as not wanting to definitively end these problems).
I can see how lust changes an individual's face - they all have that mean, gaunt, harsh appearance, but of course, in their ignorance, they attribute it to aging. They are also mentally delayed in many ways I won't get into here.
I don't recommend fasting, it's not sustainable if your mind isn't clean and when your mind is clean it's not necessary as you would gravitate toward a clean diet (if you eat at all). You can only purify yourself when you're chaste in thought, word and act - this uplifted state will lead you to a genuine desire to connect with God and on the path toward God Consciousness.
Purifying yourself is a constant effort that involves being of service to others instead of self-serving. You're beautifying the collective's consciousness of the world by being your true self a.k.a the Soul. 99.9% of people are not doing this, but think they are.
Now I can see how a few people have held this hell world by a string which is why the same few people's stories have been used as inspiration - Christ being the most common one.
Two Practices
I'm a beginner so I'll only speak on what I've practiced consistently:
a. Karma Yoga: Yama and Niyama; become morally disciplined, have good thoughts and engage in good acts. You should do everything for the sake of good and expect nothing in return. This severs all attachments and cleanses the mind.
Asana is proper posture (erect spine) is essential for upward energy conduction in your body. You cannot have an upward flow of energy if you're engaging in the sex thought or act; most people are downward which is why they're preoccupied with their genitals and have a negativity bias.
When you're no longer entitled, lust quickly disappears because lust is entitlement. You will see the material body as a vehicle. When you work, it should be for work's sake (which will be a natural progression).
This is a major change in the individual who commits to it. This is the key most people are missing when they claim they want to move toward non-duality or egolessness. Lust creates the ego and their " non-duality gurus" aren't telling them that because they don't know what they're talking about, so it becomes about escaping than duty, discipline and responsibility.
Could you start by countering every poor thought with three good ones? This habit will change the structure of your mind and every atom in your body as well.
There are more Sutras I won't speak on because I haven't trained them.
b. Presence: Focus on what is happening right now: think of the present moment as God and non-presence as Satan. Impure thoughts concerning something that happened years ago is a sign of a filthy mind doesn't matter if it's "good" or "bad." Since the mind doesn't detox like our digestive system, the only way to detox it is by having the discipline to no longer engage in what makes it dirty - but this only stops the incoming filth and does not remove current impurity.
There's a limit to what meditation can do for you when sex thoughts and acts are part of your life.
To fully reset the mind to the state it was when we were children (Pure Presence), you must meditate daily. This should be as normal as using the bathroom daily I'm learning meditation here and got the results I wanted quickly (about a week), but I want to remain pure so this will be part of my daily living.
I don't force myself to remember to be disciplined, good, sinless, presence, and God - I naturally gravitate to what assists in maintaining the peace I experience when meditating.
What people call "non-duality" or a "higher dimension" is automatic. It will be impossible to be fearful, anxious, or depressed for a few minutes when you know the truth of reality. You are no longer subject to karmic law in this state since your ego isn't putting you in harm's way.

"MATA DARSHAN": A short ode to Maa Kali
Tumblr media
In a dream,
Maa said to me: "Come my child, towards Me!"
The spirit flew and came into Your abode
All was pitch black, and I came looking for You
Until I saw a Flame burning fiercely in the midst of the darkness "Come, my child, I am the Flame. I desire to let you be consumed!"
Like a moth enamored by the scintillation, This Jiva threw itself in the midst of the pyre. Everything crumbled into ashes, Pulverized by that ravening Fire. None was left, Save Your eyes which twinkled in the bosom of the Void.
"You are watched", said Maa "I have watched", said Maa "And I will continually watch You!" said Maa.

"Will Jesus come again? Metaphysically, he is already omnipresent. He smiles at you through every flower. He feels his cosmic body in every speck of space. Every movement of the wind breathes the breath of Jesus. Through his oneness with the divine Christ Consciousness he is incarnate in all that lives. If you have the eyes to behold, you can see him enthroned throughout creation."

The Power Of The Streak
Tumblr media
I started doing yoga in 2021. That was kind of an inflection point in my life — I had just left a pretty dark and consuming chapter of my life behind and had just moved back home from Europe, where I’d spent the last 10 odd years of my life.
I was 27 and felt like I’d pretty much pissed the better part of my 20s down the drain. I was pretty anxious at a baseline level and wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be 33 or 38 and feel the same pangs of regret.
So, inspired by the atomic habits school of thought, i decided to embrace micro habits and make sure I stick to them every day, without expecting any results in the short term. I started with exercising and stuck with it for a good amount of time before the second wave of Covid hit.
It was around this time — say late April to May 2021, that I got initiated into Kriya Yoga — I had dabbled quite a bit in youtube spirituality by that point and was itching to do something practical — i.e real — to advance my spiritual journey. Watching videos, reading books, ingesting substances and endlessly pontificating just wasn’t cutting it. So, I got initiated and committed to doing the practice every day no matter what. I’d never done anything that consistently before in my life. NEVER.
I figured — I already know this is going to be good for me. It can only make me better. And it’s just 30–35 mins a day. If I can’t invest that much time towards feeling better and improving my experience of life, then, what am I really doing here? There was no way I was going to let my lesser instincts get the better of me against that foolproof, airtight logic.
Or so I thought.
It was bloody brutal! We were meant to do the practice twice a day for the first 48 days after initiation (what’s called a mandala in yoga) and then at least once a day for 6 months. The first few days were terrible! I realised just how messy and out of order I was internally. Keeping myself accountable enough to get done with the practice twice a day on an empty stomach with at least 4 hours between each session, and keeping this on with work and other commitments just exposed the extent of my internal chaos and disorder.
I was insanely stressed and fell sick multiple times in those 48 days. Anyway, I somehow got around to maintaining the streak. I maintained it for more than a year and a half. Sometimes, I would rush through the practice and not really give it my full attention but I nevertheless kept my streak up, for what that was worth.
Slowly but surely, I saw changes. Infinitesimal almost. But i did see them. My anxiety levels came down gradually. There were still bad days. But there were days when I was just able to wake up and get through the day without the dread taking hold of me.
It’s coming up to three years now and I’m still doing the practice. I’ve missed a few sessions here and there but keeping the streak intact for the first year and half meant that I never really fell off the horse after that — even when I gave the practice up for a few days here and there.
That set off a chain of changes in my life. It’s not like I saw my life improving in real-time. There was still a lot of struggle and angst. But, now, looking back, I see that the shift started there — with the commitment to doing the practice every day.
Now, I’m a big believer in the power of the streak. I’ve completed a number of streaks after that. But the one that started it all was the kriya streak. Now, my life looks very different. Not so much in terms of the externals — but in terms of my experience of life. I feel a lot more pleasant on a regular basis. I can handle emotional upheavals with a lot more grace and ease. My brain function is sharper — I feel less foggy and am able to recollect thoughts, conversations, tasks and facts much more easily. My anxiety levels are way lower. I still struggled with habits like compulsive sexuality, smoking etc for a while but they’ve settled down to a huge extent now.
Now, I do many more practices on top of that one on a daily basis. It’s insane how much of a change it makes to just commit to doing one thing for a few minutes a day, every day for a couple of years.
A few years ago, I would not have dreamt of this kind of thing — I would have dismissed a post like this. But today, having seen the results first hand, it’s hard to argue with it. But it still seems baffling though — hard to believe almost. Our brains are so fried with instant dopamine thrills that it’s hard to wrap our heads around the idea of compounding results over a period of time resulting from small, daily actions.
Well, there you go!
