Appearances Story 👁️🪞
Chris is insecure about his body. He's been super thin most of his life, and his high metabolism makes it difficult for him to gain weight. He wants to have muscles and abs, but he hates the idea that he must work out to achieve this. He's never been the fitness type.
He turns to the Internet for answers. He opens the good ol' Tumblr app and looks up various appearance change success stories. He eventually comes across an ND blogger that says "just be aware of that appearance and it's done." That statement intrigues him, is it really possible to achieve this while doing nothing at all? It seems too good to be true! He decides to send this blogger an ask to get further clarification.
He asks "What exactly do you mean by 'just be aware of the appearance and its done?' Does this mean I do nothing? Or do I have to visualize? I'm confused."
The blogger responds with this answer: "It means there's nothing you have to do to achieve this. Everything that appears is nothingness at its core. You may think "this" is your "old appearance" but in actuality it's nothing at all. The moment you decide to be aware of this "new appearance" that's it. I'm sure you've daydreamed about this appearance which means you've already experienced it. Go within and see this to be true for yourself."
This gives him a lot to ponder. Is there really no old appearance here? Daydreaming is the same as experiencing in real life? How so? He decides to ask a follow up question.
"how is daydreaming the same as experiencing?"
The blogger responds with "What is always present when you are awake, asleep, daydreaming, or visualizing? Appearances are always changing, but what is THAT which is always there?"
Something clicked! I am always present whether Chris is seemingly awake, asleep, daydreaming or visualizing. The "I" that is being referred to here is awareness, THAT, or " "
I became aware of Chris with a muscular body, and I see how I am the body, the mirror, the room that Chris is in, and all the surroundings. Wow, it really is that easy!

Object Permanance Myth
Real talk everyone! When I first read the sentence "be aware of the absence of X", I actually thought I (person) had to do something to "do" this. Like reminding myself that circumstance X is gone.
It dawned on me later on that when you get it (realize who you are), you are automatically aware of the absence of circumstances (good / bad; objects, things) because they never had permanance in the first place.
Object permanence/ outlasting circumstances are a fucking lie (illusion), they are a thought you believe in.
I know it has been said a million times already but it is the truth, y'all. Nothing is permanent except you. You are already free (aware of the absence of X), you just don't look at the truth. You rather believe in a "story" someone told you about what reality is like.

We are not asking you to be a Monk!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"But you always say do nothing!!"
Y'all took this sentence to your hearts! By doing nothing we don't mean just sit and do nothing. We are not asking you to bore yourself by sitting alone whole day and not caring about anything. NO, NOT AT ALL.
We mean don't do anything mentally. Mentally detach from world. Don't attach feelings to the thoughts you have. Ofc you can't stop them forever but you can obviously not give them power over you.
Do not the react mentally. Do not go thinking about something that happened and start attaching feelings to them. Ofc it'll be hard in the starting but soon enough you'll realise how liberating it is.
Knowing that Nothing in the world can hurt you.
It means not to regulate your life at all in any way, but to observe it and watch it. To look at it intelligently. To see the emotions that come into your mind. To observe the fears, the arrogance, and not to do anything about them. But to look at them, look through them and become free.
The world will be revealed to you as no thing. As an image on the screen of Consciousness. You will become radiantly happy for no reason whatsoever. You will find the peace that you never dreamed existed.
Soo do nothing and Just Be!!

YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE
What you do is what the whole universe is doing at the place you call "here and now," and you are something the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is something that the whole ocean is doing.
You are a function of what the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is a function of what the whole ocean is doing.
You didn't come into this world; you came out of it. Like a wave from the ocean.
We do not "come into" this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. As the ocean "waves," the universe "peoples."
Every individual is an expression of the whole realm of nature, a unique action of the total universe.
You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself.
Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies.
We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.
You, yourself, are the eternal energy which appears as this Universe.
The real you is not a puppet which life pushes around. The real deep-down you is the whole universe.
Basically, there is simply nothing to worry about, because you yourself are the eternal energy of the universe.
You are the universe experiencing itself.
-Alan Watts (Selected Quotes)

When someone takes a game too seriously, it very quickly loses its fun.
Human incarnation is like that, but worse.
The ego is an emergent self, meaning it "emerges" from a collection of things that aren't a self.
Primarily the ego exists in reference to the body-mind but it may also grow to include habits, likes, dislikes, physical appearance, language, culture, and education.
If any of those are removed or changed, you still exist. Yet the character you feel yourself to be may or may not feel different. The distinction between the feeling of existence and our felt identity is vital to understand.
The feeling of existence is awareness. Awareness knows itself; it exists and knows it exists. It is changeless and continuous.
Awareness illuminates the play of consciousness. To us, consciousness is the perpetually changing experience of a human body-mind. It is all we have known since birth. Our felt identity, the ego, emerges in the body-mind from certain collected patterns of consciousness.
A metaphor may make understanding this more intuitive and clear:
Think of awareness as electricity, consciousness as the images produced on a TV screen by means of electricity, and the ego as the character appearing on the TV screen with whose life and story we identify.
Your feeling of existence (awareness), is entirely uncaused and untouched by the appearance, changes, and disappearance of the character on the show, or even by the show itself (consciousness). Despite this, we live our lives unaware of being anything other than our character and their story.
This is the illusion. Not the show or the characters but the belief that you are the character, that your feeling of existence comes from the character. That is existential ignorance and it creates immense suffering--both for ourselves and for each other.
Three consequences arise inherent to the ego:
1. Existential dread.
We feel that our existence begins with our character's birth and ends with our character's death. Imagine if you were playing a video game and you were brainwashed to believe the same thing about your game character. Would the game be fun or would it be terrifying?
Our human life and everything we know regarding it will end. Who knows what if anything endures after death. It's fair to assume basically nothing. That's something with which we all need to come to terms. But our sense of existence, of being alive, does not end. That is a big deal and makes a big difference.
2. The sense of separation.
As we live wholly identified with that character, we take their side in all matters. It creates a sense of separateness and it is the basis for disharmony, conflict, and confusion. It is also the sense of separateness that creates the feeling that we are lacking something, that something is missing in life. This then leads to the drive described next.
3. The search for happiness.
The combination of our felt sense of separation with our belief that our existence begins and ends with our character poses a problem. It means our starting point is that of incompleteness and we have only a limited time to find completion. So we seek happiness and try to avoid suffering.
This seeking drives us even deeper into the illusory predicament. Because 99% of the time, due to our identification with the character, that seeking only ever occurs within the TV show. We try to make that character happy through the things in the TV story and avoid bad things in the story, which just tangles us deeper in the whole belief that the character story is us.
Temporary happiness or temporary relief from suffering is possible, but it is only ever a partial happiness or relief and it is never sustained indefinitely.
The good news is that there is a way to freedom.
"You are not just a meaningless fragment in an alien universe, briefly suspended between life and death, allowed a few short-lived pleasures followed by pain and ultimate annihilation." -- Eckhart Tolle
To review, we all appear as different characters and we all have the feeling of "I," the feeling of existence. That is awareness; it is the electricity underlying the whole TV show. Consciousness is the medium in which the body's senses and mind's thoughts appear. Within the display of consciousness, a derived identity forms in the mind-body shaped by our culture, language, psychological imprints, and the like, as the story plays out.
I have explained why we will never be at ease let alone truly happy so long as we live as if we are a fragment in a story beyond our control. We will be grasping at scraps of pleasure and resolving to endure innumerable hardships only to be facing inevitable obliteration at our moment of death.
When the ego's illusion is broken, the TV show is seen to be an inert play on a screen and the infinite play of awareness and consciousness stands revealed as having been there all along. That is realization, or enlightenment.
The next few points are important to understand, as they are the very reason for why I explained all of this in the first place.
1. The character, the ego, doesn't become enlightened, nor is it destroyed.
Ramana Maharshi once said that enlightenment is like the sun discovering there is no such thing as night or day. Nothing actually changes other than the arising of clarity regarding what has always been the case.
2. Freedom doesn't mean the character gets to do whatever they want.
Freedom is from the illusion of feeling yourself to be the character. This kind of freedom releases a tremendous amount of tension and fear built up within the character.
3. At the same time, the character doesn't go anywhere.
The character still participates in the TV story but now it can do so without such profound confusion and suffering. It can truly begin to have fun. Also, compassion for others spontaneously arises because there are no "others" and there are no sides.
"We're all just walking each other home." -- Ram Dass
For lack of a better term, we call this existential path of awakening "spirituality." One day, I would like to find a better word for it.

How I view Law of Assumption in the perspective of the story the Alchemist!
In the story the Alchemist, the main character santiago travels all around the world to find the treasure just to realise it was where he started the journey,The final twist, that the treasure lies under the sycamore tree in Spain the whole time, brings Santiago back home, just as his father predicted when Santiago first set out on his travels as a shepherd.
"At the end of the story, the boy is able to find the treasure he was running after. The treasure which he unearthed under the Sycamore tree in the abandoned church, from where the story begins"
What I mean by this is,
Yall search over and over to just to discover that one video ,guide, method, post or quote that would change ur life but in reality you don't have to do any of this the ultimate treasure is within YOU
You are God the treasure within you and yet you don't realise and still reading hundreds of blogs and guides!
Stahp! Relax
You are enough
You are worthy
You can do it
Thank u :)

“Satanism advocates practicing a modified form of the Golden Rule. Our interpretation of this rule is: "Do unto others as they do unto you"; because if you "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," and they, in turn, treat you badly, it goes against human nature to continue to treat them with consideration. You should do unto others as you would have them do unto you, but if your courtesy is not returned, they should be treated with the wrath they deserve.”

I learned from an extremely young age that love was conditional, that I was always supposed to earn it, but never did because I never did anything well enough, and I was always set up for failure like that. And I knew other people who had love got it because they were good enough, and I thought I had no worth because I could never be good enough to earn that conditional love. And I never was good enough back then. I know now that, in fact, I am good enough. I shouldn't have to burn myself out, to put up with the intolerable, I shouldn't feel like I can't say "no" to avoid conflicts, I don't have to be accept hurtful behavior so others can feel comfortable enough to love me! I can be loved for who I am, right here, right now, without being of use to anyone, because I am not something to use, I am not a doll, I am not a manic pixie dream girl, it is not my job to make someone find their own path to a happy and fulfilled life. I should be prioritizing fulfilling my own life without caring about what others think.
This is both a breakthrough and a breakdown. And then it becomes an epiphany. I am a capable person. And I am older now and I can understand that no one should have to earn love, ever. I don't have to keep living this way - so I won't.
I can do what I enjoy, I can live my honest life, I can be authentic and no longer be afraid of loving relationships. I will keep allowing myself to receive love. I will see that my life reflects how much love my heart can have: an insurmountable amount.
Love for all things, myself included.

"Ego", The Final Boss
Olivia (she prefers to be called Liv) has been on quite the spiritual journey for a couple of years. She was born and raised Catholic, then as a teen she decided to leave the church because it didn't resonate with her. She went through a law of attraction phase, followed by law of assumption, and finally, she found non dualism from a few Twitter and Tumblr accounts.
The message, from what she gathered, was that she needed to fully drop the ego in order to realize her true self/true nature and to experience whatever she wanted. She even read a few books where realized masters have spoken about their own personal journeys of dropping ego and how life is generally more peaceful for them now that they've done so.
Now, Liv is one with a troubled past. She would give anything to become an entirely different person with no childhood trauma, and just a happy life all around. She meditated every single day, practiced "sitting in silence", and tried her hardest to detach from her "ego."
She stopped enjoying her usual hobbies out of fear of identifying too much with the character. She would go out of her way to correct thoughts that she felt were "too related to being the person." Needless to say, her mental health began to go downhill very fast.
One of her best friends, Marcus, decided to check up on her one day through face-time. "Hey sis! How have you been?! Haven't seen you in a while."
"Hey..." Liv answered. "I'm not doing all that great to be honest."
"Yeah I figured that. That's why I reached out to you," Marcus stated. "I'm worried about you. It seems like you barely leave the house. Everytime myself or anyone else tries to make plans with you, you either cancel last minute or come up with some bogus excuse as to why you can't come out."
Liv had to laugh because everything he said was true. "So I'm guessing you didn't believe the story about my pet rabbit dying."
Marcus cackled. "GIRL. I've known you for years and not once have you ever had a pet rabbit. Stop playing."
"Okay let me tell you what's really going on with me," Liv began, "So a few months ago I found this 'spiritual practice' called Non Dualism, and the premise of it is you need to 'let go of ego' in order to realize your true nature as God, or Awareness, whatever you want to call it. Also you get to experience whatever you want."
"So this is the reason why you've stopped enjoying your usual hobbies, and why you've stopped having a social life?" Marcus inquired. "I'm going to be honest here. As your friend, I feel like I owe it to you to tell you the Truth even if it isn't what you want to hear. I don't think that this 'practice' has helped you one bit. Either you have misinterpreted the message, or these people are spreading misinformation. Never at any point should you sacrifice your mental health for the sake of 'becoming enlightened.'"
"I don't know what else to do," Liv started to cry a little. "I just want to become a different person living a life full of happiness, one without trauma and constant reminders of my horrible past. I hate being this broken person!"
"It's okay hun, I totally understand," Marcus consoled her. "I can help you. You remember my family guru right? She hates being called that, but I don't know how else to refer to her. Her name is Sage. My family has gone to her for spiritual advice and healing for years."
"Yes, I remember her! Didn't she help your mom heal her lower back pain?" Liv asked excitedly.
"She sure did. I can give you her number if you want!"
After Liv ended her face-time call with Marcus, he gave her Sage's number. She immediately reached out to her to schedule a day where they can meet up.
- -
One day, Liv arrived at a beautiful park to discover Sage already sitting on one of the benches waiting. "Hi! I don't know if you remember me, I'm Marcus' friend Liv."
"Yes! Hi Liv, it's nice to see you again," Sage reached out and gave Liv a warm hug. "Now what can I help you with?"
Liv sat down next to Sage. "Well, I discovered Non dualism a few months ago, and I'm not sure if I misunderstood the message or not, but I thought you had to let go of ego in order to realize your true nature as awareness. And after you realize this, you can experience whatever you want. So long story short, I stopped enjoying life because I thought I had to do that in order to be enlightened."
Sage hesitated for a moment, and then smiled. "Think about it this way.. if it's true that our true nature is awareness, or God, whatever label you put on it, why would you have to go through these unnecessary steps in order to 'become' it? If that's what you already are in the first place?"
Liv opened her mouth to reply, then closed it again. Maybe Sage had a point.
"Here are my thoughts. If anyone is telling you to 'drop the ego', it's bullshit," Sage chuckled. "The point of Non Dualism is realizing that you were always awareness. You were always the awareness behind everything that seems to appear. The ever-stretching, limitless silence that can take on the form of anything. The ego is just a thought. The idea that you are not already fully realized is also just a thought. In reality, there's no ego or person here to let go of. No person here who needs to become 'fully realized.' Just drop the idea that you are a limited human that has to become something, and you'll be golden."
Liv's jaw dropped to the ground. "You're telling me it was THAT SIMPLE THIS ENTIRE TIME?"
Sage laughed heartily. "Yes it is. Why do you think it took masters like Lester or Sri Nisgardatta months or YEARS to 'realize Self?' because they spent so much time trying to get rid of an ego that doesn't exist!"
Liv let out a sigh of relief. "So there really is nothing to do. I can't believe I exerted all that effort for nothing. I do have one more question, how can I experience whatever I want knowing I'm awareness? I want to be a completely different person with a different past."
"The person you think you are now, and the one you want to be are both illusions. You, as awareness, can 'choose' either one like a costume. Everytime you think about this ideal version of you, you've already experienced it," Sage grinned.
Suddenly a wave of emotions flooded through Liv, a mixture of relief and happiness. She felt the urge to give Sage a tight hug. "Thank you so much for helping me today."
"You're so welcome, sweetie."
Good for Liv, she has finally accepted her omnipotence and freedom to experience anything!

SENSES DON'T VALIDATE; AWARENESS DOES
Do you guys even realise how insane you sound sending in asks saying "I can't experience through the illusionary senses", "I still see the old illusion"
Honey, there is a reason why we call it an illusion: it is just not real, in a way that it is not what it seems.
What IS [the truth] in all your experiences?

How to get you Desires instantly?...jk...just wanna talk about my take on 'void state'!!
Tumblr media
First of all i hate the word void (not kinda hate hate...but the way ppl are obsessed over it... even i was once lol). After studying the concept of Non-Duality the way i used to see the void ...the way i used to put it on pedestal (i cringed😭) it all changed. I realised we are putting something on the pedestal to which we give the existence.
Void is nothing more than a state that exists because YOU give your awareness to it. Void is a state just like Bee(me) is a state that SELF created! There's nowhere to reach/enter.
Void is nothing but just to be aware of being unconscious. To be aware while this body sleeps.
Okayy I'll ask you to simply meditate....not to reach anywhere...not to enter void....not to get your desires.
Soo first get in comfortable position to meditate.
Now just focus on your breathing, let the thoughts pass by don't engage with them. Just watch them and keep your focus on breathing.
Slowly your mind will start to quieten. As your are observing all this happening. You'll know that you are just the observer of thoughts...you are not the thought....these thoughts ain't yours but of this unreal mind's.
This meditation is to just make you realise that you are the awareness behind these thoughts not the thought itself.
Continue focusing on the breathing. There will be a moment where the mind will become silent and that's when you are one with the awareness. That's the NON-DUAL STATE aka the void state.
This meditation is not to reach the non dual state.... it's to know that you are the observer doesn't matter if the mind goes silent or not. Just to experience who you are try this meditation with zero expectations. If mind got silent great!! But if it didn't then also greatt!!
Now the main problem/mistake that ppl do while meditating for the non-dual state(void state). They don't let the mind think itself....they think with the mind themselves. Didn't understand? Wait lemme explain....you don't let the mind wander or think on it's own instead you yourself start thinking....if i am doing it right, how much more time, it'll be happening soon bla bla.
Just only coz y'all 'try' the void to get your 'desires' that feeling makes you anxious. Getting everything all at once sounds too good to be true to the ego (tho you ALREADY have everything) soo it starts getting anxious and that's totally opposite of meditating.
When bloggers say 'void' is easy....IT ISSS. But this ego don't wanna believe it.
And no you really don't need to affirm, or do methods, listen to subliminals, need a void concept (lol wtf is even that), LITERALLY NOTHING. IT'S JUST A STATE THAT YOU BECOME AWARE OF!!
It's just you are aware of getting your 'desires' instantly... that's why you get your 'desires' instantly. Void ain't your purest form or something. It's just a state from which you can experience you being the awareness from the closest (or may be not).
Literally ppl have hyped it soo much that now it's toxic. I am not against the 'void state'. But the way ppl ruin their mental health by putting something like this on the pedestal....it shrinks my heart. Coz I've been thru that and i don't want y'all go thru the same phase of exhaustion.
Just know that it's just a made up state just like this ego is made up by the SELF. Nothing special at all!!
Hope i could convey what i wanted too!🫶🏻✨
-Love, bee💗🧚🏻‍♀️
