Something I find fascinating about the Critical Edition of the Mahābhārata is that the characters sporadically move from addressing Kṛṣṇa as an embodied mortal (as their friend, cousin, son-in-law etc) to addressing him as the Godhead; as Viṣṇu, as the Supreme Being, and as Īśvara. The succession of change between the modes of address can sometimes even happen on the same page, at a distance of a few lines. The veil is lifted, and the characters see through Kṛṣṇa’s illusion, and, through that, they become immersed in the nature of Reality; the veil promptly drops back, and God is lost. An argument for this could be that the divine modes of address are interpolations, a theory being that Kṛṣṇa became identified with Viṣṇu only in later renditions of the Mahābhārata. While this could be true at the level of historical analysis of the epic, for me, there is a subtler teaching encased here: how all of us, without exception, glimpse into the nature of Reality as we move through life, yet we perpetually proceed to return to becoming engrossed in the superimpositions we project upon Reality; and the dance continues. From Truth to dream, from dream to Truth. It is quite endearing, really. What committed and imaginative dreamers we are!
Adyashanti once talked about how one inadvertently glimpses truth; it is, after all, inescapable as it is our nature; the trick is not forgetting / losing the glimpse.
Gorgeous artwork of Kṛṣṇa: Awedict.

Andal: *continues to pretend, then looks up with a smirk* "Yes, may I help you?"
Kanha: *holding out the garland* "Here, you owe me my daily dose of flower garland."
Andal: *playfully* "Well, you have it in your hand; wear it yourself."
Kanha: *gasps dramatically* "Blasphemy, how could you!"
Andal: *smiling.* "Well, what do you owe me if I wear the garland first?"
Kanha: *leaning in, whispering,* "Me."
Thus, my dear people, Ranganatha(Kanha) always wears the garland once adorned the chest of his lovely Andal/Kothai.

Is it only me but whenever you feel krishna residing in your heart and you are reminded of the fact that he exists within you, be it your good deeds or the love that bounds you to other people; life always feels calmer and much happier. Like, no matter whatever sort of shit went down recently, since I have krishna with me and i concentrate my mind on him, i feel happy and joyful in situations which i would have probably overthank about otherwise. I am filled with so much love right now, and it's like my energy keeps on being more and more polished day by day because I have krishna. (Not me totally imagining krishna and me as chaotic besties. I am stupid for imagining myself dancing along with krishna ? I guess not, he loves me lmao-)

To write, read and explain sanātana dharmā is my greatest happiness, though I haven’t shared much here on Tumblr.
However, Vishnu and Shivā work in mysterious ways, and thus, I am finally here on the Sanatana side of things, to interpret as I am blessed by the very Divinity I worship with and as my own heart.
Salutation to Gajanana, the remover of obstacles, the support of His devotees, and the One praised for His Knowledge and Wisdom.
Salutation unto HariHara, the primordial form of the Divine Hari and Hara, of Their Oneness and equality, who is the sole inspiration of my life and my Universe multiplied infinite times.
Salutation to HariHara Patni, SriUma, as I see Her, whose very presence in His heart tells me of stories that play the very ancient games of Leela.
Salutations to Vaani, the Goddess who is my inspiration, who blesses me with words and purpose, who is as dear to me as ever.
Salutations to Brahma, the Creator, the foremost father of all the Devtas and indeed all the worlds, the friend of HariHara and the husband of Medha.
Salutations to Skanda, the God of war, but much more, the Tamizh Kadavul, the Compassion of the world, who ever protects His devotees.
Salutations to Hanuman, for whom there are no words, but who is the dearest to the heart.
Salutations to the Devas and Devis of Svarga and every Loka, for are you not the supporters too of the Universe, and representatives of the Trideva and Tridevi?

Simple analysis of Navamsha
A basic varga chart called the navamsha is compared in part to the birth chart. Navamsha can sometimes be more effective than Rashi, particularly if it has powerful planets. Navamsha also responds to queries regarding partnerships and marriage.
Here are a few easy ways to examine Navamsha. Marriage date: • The owner of the Navamsha Lagna in Trikona (5th and 9th houses) had an early marriage; the owner of the Navamsha Lagna in Kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses) had an early marriage. • After 30 years of marriage, the owner of Navamsha Lagna in dusthana is afflicted by malefics. • The owner of the seventh house, Navamsha Lagna, and the owner of the seventh house—not being married—were decisively defeated. One can only anticipate disappointment from a marriage.
If the Navamsha Lagna bearer finds himself in a powerful sign, it portends a lovely, devout spouse of high moral standards.
particularly if he is strong in Rashi and possesses aspects of favourable planets. The spouse will have a challenging nature if the Navamsha Lagna's owner fell into dusthanas or as a symbol of falling.
Happiness in family life can be expected if the seventh house and seventh lord of Navamsha are robust and aspected by benefic planets. Venus is in Navamsa, a strong and auspicious sign for this.
Venus in the first or seventh house and exalted in the Navamsha can both suggest several marriages.
Despite being a partnership chart, the Navamsha can be used to consider any situation. including one's work and family. When it comes to matters of reproduction, the fifth house of the Navamsha is just as significant as the fifth house of Rashi.
Pregnancy issues won't arise if the fifth house or its occupant is linked to beneficent planets (Venus, Jupiter, the developing Moon, and unaffected Mercury).
If the lord of the fifth house from Rashi is in a Kendra or Trikona in Navamsa, it is also favourable.
Malefic planets' impact on the Navamsha fifth house indicates challenges with childbirth and raising.

Kṛṣṇa and Draupadī Discuss Karma
One of my favourite interpolations from modern tellings of the Mahābhārata is a conversation between Draupadī and Kṛṣṇa that occurs after Draupadī's sexual assault and attempted disrobing by the Kauravas.
Clutching his feet, Draupadī sobs: "Govind, why? Why did this happen to me? What sins did I commit? I am reaping the fruit of which actions of mine?”
Picking her up and caressing her hair, Arya tells her: "What happened was neither because of your ‘bad’ karma, nor did you reap the fruit of your past actions. It was the Kauravas who reaped the fruit of their past actions by engaging in such a grave misdeed. Sakhī, this is the meaning of karma."
"But I am the one experiencing agony, Govind."
"Then relinquish it, Sakhī. Although what happened was not the result of your 'bad' karma, the way you transform following these events will be your karma."
This is such a beautiful and profound exchange which offers rich nuances to the teaching of karma. Oftentimes, when events we perceive as terrible happen to us, we create a story of unworthiness around them; we wonder if we are being punished, if the root cause is our evilness, if God or the universe are rejecting or dooming us. A question that rests on these lines that is often asked would be the common: “why do bad things happen to good people”. A first layer to this, in my view, is a deconstruction of 'bad' and 'good' as solid concepts. The second layer is the understanding that any event 'just' happens aleatorily, rises and falls, and karma is not a simplistic cause-effect reaction.
Karma encapsulates, in my understanding, the ingrained patterns held within us through which we act, react, and process the world around us and the events that occur in our lives. There is freedom from karma in finding new ways of reacting, engaging, processing.
Finally, a significant teaching encased in this interpolation is that the way someone treats us, ultimately, is a reflection of their karma (ingrained patterns), and not a reflection of our ingrained patterns. We cannot control another's patterns, but we can aim to understand and rewire ours accordingly.
The magnificent art: @beauty_of_art_aditi.
