I will never condone or promote people telling others to harm themselves due to how actually horrendous that is. That I won’t say I’m surprised someone allegedly told Thell they wished his sister would kill herself. If insolent WAS Thell’s puppet account he literally told my friend to kill themself and then tried to gaslight people into thinking it never happened.

You cultivated this audience. You allowed for this type of toxicity to thrive on your site, Thell. You allowed this because it worked specifically in your favor to dogpile people as the holy god over everything you wanted to be. Edward Elric actually perfectly average size (164 cm / 5.3 ft) for a fifteen year old child in 1914.

It's just that he's usually compared to his brother, Alphonse Elric, who appears way over 6 ft tall at the age of 14.

Alphonse is an outlier and should not have been counted.

it's been so long since i did a sith obi-wan au so like - how about an au where the sith are almost as established as the jedi (a temple, an order, followers numbering in the hundreds/thousands) but things are a bit more diplomatic in the galaxy (it's definitely tense but not all out war just yet)

so both the sith and jedi orders are alerted to a new rising power in the outer rim.....on tatooine of all places. a slave rebellion, led by shmi skywalker, has toppled the hutts. it's said that this new leader, queen of tatooine, has the Force's favor....but more importantly than that, shmi skywalker is a new galactic player, with a lot of money and a lot of support.....and a son of marriageable age.

cue both the jedi and the sith sending a delegation to tatooine - ostensibly to nurture galactic relations between their orders and the new power, but also to lowkey seduce shmi skywalker's son into marriage/a relationship because everyone knows that a parent's heart follows their children's happiness.

sith!obi-wan aka darth solence is selected to lead the sith seduction attempt. he's pretty confident - after all, he's led hundreds of seduction missions at this point, and he'd suffer a thousand different humiliations for the sake of the order of the sith who took him in after the jedi sent him to the agricorps.

the only problem is that he arrives on tatooine and shmi skywalker's son, anakin, is the most bland, boring, two-dimensional boy to ever breathe. he's completely uninterested in politics, in history, in the Force---he'd rather talk about pod-racing and--and Coruscanti daytime holo shows than anything of actual interest!

good thing the prince's manservant, kitster, is almost always hanging around. he's wrong about many things, obi-wan finds, but he's passionate. passionate and beautiful. oh, he loves pod-racing just as much as the prince, but he's fascinated by the Force and ready to tear obi-wan's eyes out over a passing negative observation on a droid. and did obi-wan mention that he's beautiful? with his golden curls and sky blue eyes and fierce scowl and broad shoulders and prominent eyebrows and even more prominent lips? the sith, as a general rule, appreciate passion, anger. beauty. obi-wan adores them as well.

but kitster the man servant isn't the person obi-wan has been flown to tatooine to seduce--he's duty-bound to seduce prince anakin. even if being around him feels like pulling his teeth out with rusty pliers.

if only obi-wan knew that shmi skywalker is more suspicious about the galaxy than she lets on. more protective of her son, too. if only he knew that her son, anakin, had a best friend growing up named kitster, who owed them both just enough life-debts to convince him to trade places with shmi's son for the length of the delegations' visit.

it's an easy sell after all -- who doesn't want to be a prince for a few weeks, no harm done?

What kind of nu metal music fits Les's band?

First of all I gotta clarify that I sent this ask myself because I accidentally lost the original through constant editing and drafting. I realize I could just make a regular text post but I'm quirky like that, and a question is a nice little attention grabber for those who are interested.

Anyway...

It's hard to point at one song and say this is their sound, because A: I'm picky, B: the band's style changes over time, and C: I don't know what I'm doing lmao

This answer is very long uhh I don't seem to be able to form short responses, mi scusi 😅

Back at home the brothers' music and then also the first year on the road with Flea the band sounds like the albums Music and especially Grassroots by 311. (Grassroots is such a banger of an album, I listen to it all the time, really recommend.)

Hed's the main influence on the band's sound because he's the main vocalist, songwriter and overall the most invested in the band succeeding (Les's main concern is making ends meet, and Flea is just enjoying the ride lol). At the start Hed and Les have had basically no contact with Rock Trolls so even though they're both more metal/punk than regular rock, their "rock side" is softer at this point. Hed also grew up with hip hop because of his peers so there's a lot of rapping in his lyrics. And he also incorporates reggae into his style a lot because of his favorite uncle, Kymani (one of the guys who live with Ish) who is a Reggae Troll. Hed is pretty much a sponge when it comes to music, much like Floyd. The closest I can come to describing his genre is a fusion of Rap Metal and Reggae Rock which are both already fusion genres jskksdjsk

(The band 311 has two singers and oddly they both sound like Hed and Les to me. SA Martinez (the higher of the two voices) sounds 100%, exactly like how I've imagined Hed's voice in my head. For Les I have a different voice claim because Les's personal style of music is much different from the band, but Nick Hexum (the lead vocalist here) is still in the second place when it comes to voice alone. Imagine my enthusiastic surprise finding voices for both brothers in the same band 😄)

While driving around and performing small gigs they come in contact with the alternative and nu metal scene and meet a lot of Rock Trolls (mostly various Metal Trolls) and other mixed trolls, and in the following couple of years their sound gradually becomes heavier (Hed rediscovers screamo lol) and they go from rock to metal.

A year into their "touring" is also around the time Hed meets and starts dating Liv and gets her to join the band. Liv's genre has the heaviest sound of all of them (Industrial/EBM), which influences Hed and the band too. And with Liv on the drums, Hed takes over DJ-ing and is also able to put more focus on the vocals, which also makes Les step down and only sing backing vocals with the rest of the band if needed.

The band in this era sounds like the album Revolution by Insolence and to some degree Introduction to Mayhem by Primer 55.

Two years into the bands existence is when Floyd runs into them. At first he's more just standing there, observing their practices and performances warily, because he's had bad experiences with Rock Trolls in his one year alone and metal music still kinda freaks him out at this point. But he soon starts joining in in melodic parts and then it progresses into him singing longer and longer segments because he has the strongest vocals of everyone. And once he saves enough of his earnings for a guitar he starts playing the rhythm guitar too. (The guitar he took with him when he left the Troll Tree got stolen before he met the band.)

I guess I should clarify: Flea is the lead guitarist, Les is the bassist, and Liv and Hed switch on the drums and DJ-ing depending on the track. At one point they also get a keyboard.

It's also not that long before Hed and Floyd start actively writing songs together, sharing each others notes, and they start to split the singing parts more evenly. Hed even teaches Floyd screamo techniques, because he thinks Floyd has a great voice for them (He is correct, Floyd has a mean scream 😁).

During this time the band still pretty much sounds like Revolution by Insolence but with more melodic singing parts from Floyd (and screaming/shouting lmao). I think Verge of Umbra is another good band to compare, it sounds more clean and Floydy but still Hedy. (Man, I should write scientific research papers skjdkjf)

From here on out I'm a bit unsure how the band's sound develops, but I'm pretty sure Floyd would unintentionally infect them with a mild case of radio friendliness (Pop trolls can't help their in your face nature lmao 😞). So for now I'm stopping here...

This took me days of searching and writing so I would appreciate to hear any thoughts you have if you've come this far and given some of the songs a listen. :)

Chaze loved his Converse sneakers. He had them for a long time as anyone would be able to tell. So far, they have held up over the years on the outside, but inside was different. The insoles were badly worn out. Wearing them was sometimes uncomfortable, but he really loved these sneakers. He could try replacing them with insoles, but in time, they would wear down just like the one inside them now. He needed insoles that would never wear down and last for ages.

One month later, Chaze had created an indestructible formula that could be applied to make indestructible insoles, but it would only work on living matter instead of normal insoles. The only way to make such an insole was to transform a person into one. He needed to test his indestructible formula on two tests subjects. He knew exactly who to try it on. There were two such individuals he had in mind.

Chaze invited Tommy and John over to one of the private break rooms in the office to have a chat with them. They didn't suspect anything odd about another coworker inviting them to a private conversation. They showed up exactly on break time. Chaze had three drinks in front of him. Two were laced with a special paralyzing concoction along with the indestructible formula. One was a normal drink. He made sure to mark the normal drink so that he didn't accidentally drink out of the wrong cup.

"Tommy and John, we haven't talked much, and I just wanted to get to know you two." Chaze paused, seemly quite friendly with them. "It's often we work together, but never socialize beyond work talk. Here, have a drink with me." He handed them both a cup.

"This is great, actually. Just to have a normal chat for a change." John commented as he took a drink from his cup. "Yeah, I totally agree. We never had outside of work conversations with you." Tommy added as he took several gulps from his cup as well. "This drink is really good," Tommy added as he finished the whole cup. "It's so tasty. What is it exactly?" John asked back.

"It's something special I made for the three of us." Chaze told them with a friendly smile, knowing that the two formulas should take effect any second now. He was ready to put these two in a new position on the job; a position that best serves his feet.

John felt strange. He suddenly found himself unable to move. He tried to speak and even was unable to do that. He did notice a sadistic smile appearing on Chaze's face.

Tommy was mentally panicking. He felt trapped in his body. Unable to move or speak was highly uncomfortable. The sadistic smile on Chaze face said all he should know at that moment. This chat was all a clever rouse for something he had been planning, and the two of them fell for it.

Chaze was pleased that his plan worked perfectly. He brought out his TF device. The setting was already in and ready to turn his two unsuspecting coworkers into the very insoles that would make his sneakers comfortable again. "I needed us to be alone so that I could make you two into a pair of indestructible insoles to make my sneakers more comfortable. You would be much more useful that way." He fired the TF device at both of them, so ready to put them in the bottom of his Converse.

Both Tommy and John watched in horror as Chaze and their whole environment grew in size. They were shrinking and were forming into insoles. Their bodies soon were flat yet with a soft cushioning effect. They were laying in the very chairs they were once sitting in as human beings. They saw Chaze grab them up. Tommy was forced into the left shoe, and John was put into the right shoe.

After placing in his new insoles, Chaze put his Converse back on his feet. He instantly felt comfort under his feet. The new insoles were working out perfectly. He didn't have to get rid of his favorite sneakers thanks to his new insoles. It was true his new insoles were former humans, but they were repurposed to a much better use. He went back to his office to continue working.

John was disgusted by the odor he was trapped in. To make matters worse, he could feel the worn-out insole beneath him. It was painful being pressed down on it. The pressure from Chaze's foot wasn't helping much either. The socked foot had a slight odor to them as well, but not as bad as the sneaker he was trapped in. All of his senses were stronger than when he was human. His senses had him in a hell beyond words could describe. He mentally begged Chaze to let him go. Even though it had only been a few minutes, it felt like an eternity in a stinky pit.

Tommy wasn't having too bad of an experience. The worn-out insole was definitely a pain in the back to be pressed down on. The foot odor in the shoe was bad, but he had a foot fetish. This was one of his fantasies. He was now a living insole trapped in a shoe. To him, it didn't matter whose foot he was trapped under. He was loving every moment that Chaze stepped on him. He didn't want it to ever end. Chaze was his owner, and he would gladly serve his foot forever. He was loving the strong foot odor of the shoe. It was his Master's foot odor. He found himself in foot fetish heaven.

At the end of the work day, Chaze was amazed at how comfortable his feet felt. His new insoles were just perfect. He didn't know if his former coworkers were loving their new existence or hating every moment. And he honestly didn't care at the same time. They were objects under his feet and nothing more. He heard that their coworkers were looking for Tommy and John. He was even asked if he saw them. He told them that he had lunch with them and that was the last time he saw them. He lied and said that he didn't know where they went after lunch. Soon, people will forget about them. But he would always be grateful for the sacrifice for them to make his feet comfortable.
