Hi. What's Your opinion on not having an apprentice/MC? If someone identifies with one or few characters so much it would be not needed to make MC for themselves? Or just when someone thinks their MC would look way too much like one of game characters if they wanted to keep oc looking simmiliar to themselves irl? Do You 🤔 NK it's important to think about ways how to create MC that feels real for reader or just enjoy fandom without feeling related to MC?

Honestly the only strong opinion I have about playing as an OC vs self-insert is that nobody should be shamed for their personal preference. Reading a story that you find yourself immersed in can be a really emotionally vulnerable moment, and there's a thousand different ways to explore that experience.

I'm always fascinated by storytelling designed to let the reader experience the story firsthand! When it comes to how a MC is written I'm more likely to ramble about what techniques the writers used to allow for that creative freedom without leaving the plot and world building too open ended.

Obviously it's impossible to pull that off perfectly, and that's where I think it's really fun to see fans fill in those personal gaps with ideas of who they would be in the story's universe, or what character of theirs would best fit, or how certain dynamics would play out.

He's here ! My HC of the massive monster/final demon form of Leviathan !

But I need your help !

For this illustration I was inspired by an old HC or prompts that I had read, about MC who asked the brothers to see their real demon form 🤔

And Levi had invited them to join him one evening at the edge of a beach it seems to me, and he showed himself out of the water, he was huge and all. Hhhh I can't find it, I don't think I saved it 😭 If you see what I'm talking about pleaaase send me the link ! I would love to be able to tag this post here ! 🙏🏻

Also for the colors I was inspired by the design of @waltnut (jeez his designs are all sooo cool🤩)

How would the ROs react to a very drunk MC denying their affection/kiss (or something like that) because they "already have a boyfriend/girlfriend/partners" when RO IS the said partner?

unless the ros are also drunk, they wouldn't exactly try to do it 🤔 except if they didn't realize mc is drunk or mc took it the wrong way, like if they just tried to help them to get to bed or smth

Max aka a designated driver or just a responsible person in general probably was just trying to take mc home/lead (or carry) them to bed so they could rest, and would look at mc like '???' until they realize mc is completely wasted. They wouldn't find it that funny at first, but will have a hard time hiding a smile when remembering it

If Jay is as wasted then they'd get upset with it and start whining to whoever's near, (if it's Max, they'll be like 'why😐.' while Robin will find it amusing and go 'wow sucks to be you. maybe I'll have a better chance'), not realising mc was talking about them. If they are sober, would want to tease mc but wouldn't be able to stop laughing. And definitely are telling it the next day. And the day after. And the day after that. and th-

Not that Robin's ego needs a boost, but here we are. A lot of 'wow what's their name', or 'how gorgeous are they? can't be prettier than me' questions. Definitely remind mc about it later

Dylan/Dina if they are drunk: 'understandable have a nice day' and then would pass out 🤣 If not, they would say (trying their best not to laugh at mc): "I know, it's me, you dumbass" light-heartedly
