The new workers are afraid of encountering them [most probably don't even know they exist and think it's just a rumor] while the older workers are used to them.

They're especially fond of this one guy in particular. He's been working here for 30+ years. They treat him like your indoor cat and he leans into their affection because he's a lonely starved old man who everyone sees as strict and indifferent.

[Note: This affection only extends to the older workers of the haunted building. (New workers have been reported fainting around their presence.) Others will not be treated as nicely. Please keep your distance and notify guards during an encounter.]

I think more media should work with the concept that you can still love someone you never forgave. You can still rebuild and create a new relationship with someone but also be "what you did to me was wrong and I trust you to not be like that again and want you in my life but I can't won't forgive that, won't forget the hurt you caused. Like yeah, the kid is generally pretty chill, but Egeria brings him within like 200ft of a body of water and he fucking books it to be in the water. Every. Single. Time. He's calm once he's in the water, and calm when he doesn't realise it's nearby, but the second he notices and he's not in the water, that's when he reminds her that he's a dragon that just so happens to be in a human-shaped body

Egeria (and Furina, idc what canon says, she's the older sister in my little headcanon world) constantly have to hold him back for the first few years he's in the human world. He has bitten them on multiple occasions to escape and get into the water. Furina once held him upside down by the ankle to stop him (which was very successful, until Egeria told her to stop because 'you shouldn't hold a child like that')

He grew out of this, and apart from this he was very calm, very chill, very much just vibing with his existence. But this did happen, and Furina will never let him live it down

technically my second attempt with this settlement but the last one bugged out when the cell refreshed- this one is more stable and I’ve made some changes I liked more. This is where my robotics/junk trader & companion oc, Delta, sets up shop after clearing the location with my sole Reed. the settlement itself is primarily home to a handful of robots and cats since Delta’s frequently on the road, but it doubles as a Railroad safehouse and frequently has other agents, synths, & other allies staying there temporarily.

Rise TMNT headcannon time, because its driving me insane keeping it to myself.

Donny secretly built a bunker under the Lair. 

(He watched too many apocalypse movies as a child and very much felt the need for it.) It was big enough for his family (including April) to stay in there comfortably with enough supplies to last years. (It also had a backup lab for his own sanity.)

When they had to move to the subway station, Donny built another one. This one was bigger. He had more people he wanted to protect now, it had to be bigger. Better. More importantly, safer. he’d seen just a fraction of what the world could throw at them by that point and couldn’t risk anything being a threat to his family. It took him the entire two years between the series and the movie to make it, but he did.

During the Apocalypse timeline, Donny’s bunkers (plural) were the only reason they made it as long as they did. They were the only truly safe spaces left, and even after (what was probably about) twenty years of fighting, the Krang were never able to access them.
