sometimes, you could hardly believe that you were dating the jason grace. "the jason grace," as if he was some world-famous football player, which he'll probably turn out to be. every single student knew his name like it was stamped into their brain as soon as they started attending this school. it made you both proud and uneasy, especially when more popular, pretty girls went up to him. you didn't doubt his loyalty, of course, but you often felt that he could have done so much better. any girl would gladly date him as soon as he requested. but he chose a no-name like you, instead. you couldn't count the amount of times your own classmates said "who?" when jason mentioned you.

it wasn't fair, you knew. you could tell he very obviously loved you by the way he handled you with such gentleness it made your heart hurt. his air alone seemed to shine like the sun, illuminating you and everyone around him. but akin to the sun, it hurt to look at him for too long.

and yet, you couldn’t bear to leave his side and offer a better, more suitable partner for him— for you were too selfish. he was all you ever wanted, was it so wrong to hold onto that dream for a few moments more?

"you'll be at my next game, right?" jason pressed a kiss to your temple as he cradled you in his arms, your back to his chest. "you're my good luck charm after all."

it was stupid. so stupid, because you knew he wanted you there— he just asked you at that. but it didn't stop the churning in your stomach about how you felt that you didn't belong on the bleachers.

"yeah. i'll be there for sure." you smiled. troubling jason would hurt you more than keeping your thoughts to yourself. you wouldn't let his sunshine dim if you could help it. and that, you could.

your heart was too heavy for you to fall asleep. it weighed you down, filling your lungs so you couldn't breathe. your rampant tossing and turning led you to the moon, shining timidly behind the curtain. you reached out to part it to the side, the moon sneaking into your room and drowning your sheets in a soft glow. it tickled your skin and did away with the uneasiness in your heart, scaring it away into tomorrow. rest easy, now.

but the moon was gone with the night, the sun in its place as it tugged at your heartstrings to wake you up. it's brightness was warm yet harsh, urging you to get ready and see your own golden boy. you heaved a sigh and obeyed, swinging your feet off the side of your bed and getting up. as you picked out your clothes, you caught sight of yourself in the mirror and paused. was this really what he wants? it was hard to believe. you didn't have to look close to see the imperfections etched on your face, your body. put next to jason, it'd only make you seem worse.

"y/n!" jason scooped you into a hug, already dressed in his gear, save for his helmet. the sun does have its quirks after all. his touch burned the most of your thoughts away, leaving only amusement behind.

"you're squeezing too tight!" you croaked out through a fit of giggles only he could make.

he loosened almost immediately, pulling away to look at you with a bright smile, the tips of his ears turning red in embarrassment. "sorry."

you only grinned and pulled him down for a quick good-luck kiss. "play hard, sunshine."

jason's nose wrinkled at the nickname. "sunshine?" he laughed. "whatever you say, beautiful."

his coach blew the whistle for the team to gather 'round, jason waving goodbye before you could answer. beautiful? how was it that he always knew the right thing to say at the right time?

you made your way to the bleachers, sitting near the front where the team's close friends (girlfriends) and family sat. the tendrils of your mind crept up your back once again as you sat near the edge. you couldn't help but feel out of place— many of them were already talking with each other, having been together for the previous years. whenever they'd lean in to giggle at something, you couldn't help but think that they were talking about you. was it because you did your makeup bad today? was your outfit wrinkled? did the wind mess up your hair? the feeling in your gut returned, more persistent than last time.

you forced a bright smile as jason ran up to you once again, a triumphant grin splitting his face. "i won for you!" as he always did. you were happy, truly, and you hoped it showed instead of the emotions you just couldn't seem to get rid of.

"i saw! you did so good, jason!"

okay... something was definitely up. usually, you'd give him a kiss as soon as he came here— where was his kiss? and why didn't your sweet smile reach your eyes? but he knew you wouldn't tell him, especially not with this many people around.

"all for you," he repeated softly, his arm wrapping around your waist as he led you out of the field. "can you come over? i feel i'm in need of your therapeutic cuddles." he looked at you out of the corner of his eye, knowing the only way him to get you in a place he was able to comfort you was by making it seem as if he needed it. because for some reason, helping came so easily to you for the sake of anyone but yourself.

"..alright." you agreed after a brief pause. "is something wrong? or are you just tired?"

ever the angel, your immediate concern was heartwarming. jason gave you a reassuring smile. "just tired."

you came out of his bathroom, changed into one of his shirts. it smelled like him, touched with sunburnt kisses. he was already in bed, half of the blanket folded open for you to slip in.

and that you did, curling up beside him as his arms wrapped you up like a gift. he buried his face into your neck, breathing deeply before he whispered, "you wanna tell me what's going on?"

you froze. how did he know? were you that obvious? you should’ve hid it better! it’s not even a big deal, he shouldn’t have to-

“you know i love you, right?” jason spoke up, interrupting your thoughts. he said it so earnestly there was no other answer but yes. so, you nodded against him.

“only you. did you know you’re my first real girlfriend?” he pulled away, a soft light dancing in his eyes.

“really?” it was a hard thing to believe. with all the girls throwing themselves at him, it would be odd for him to not like any of them. “but, you’re so.. you. you’re kind and smart and talented.. tall and handsome too..”

���well.. i wouldn’t say that…” he chuckled nervously, not expecting to be hit with the side barrage of compliments. “but look at you— you’re smart and sweet, thoughtful and considerate..” he trailed off, his hand reaching up to cup your cheek. “and so, so, beautiful.” before you had a chance to doubt yourself, he leaned in and kissed your cheek, before moving his hand and doing the same with the other. soft lips moved to the tip of your nose, then up to your forehead, ending with one to your lips.

like so many others have stated; he was way closer with his mother than his father. when he was a child, being around her was the only time he could actually put his guard down, and be vulnerable. she would protect him. spending time with his mother, were some of the few times he would laugh or smile, as she told him funny stories from her childhood, or tickle him to get a confession out of him, if he'd been the one to steal the last cookie. she was his everything. his closest person. his best friend besides his brothers. and her death broke him. he closed off even more than he already did, vowing never to let anyone besides his mother see his unguarded side. but if he was being honest -and not constantly pushing the thought from his mind- he broke down the night she died, sobbing uncontrollably alone in his room as he clung to the soft baby blue sweater she always wore.

I don't care what anyone says, I don't care what we see in the game or if official heights come out... bi-han is s h o r t. my headcanon is 5'9. that may seem short for him but he just radiates 5'9 energy i do not take criticism. my man is stout so it only makes sense that he a short king.

bi-han used to be inseparable from his brothers when they were kids, their father taking in tomas at such a young age, bi-han always remembers him being there. there isn't a single memory from his childhood that both his brothers aren't in. he'd never tell either kuai liang or tomas, but he cherishes those memories of when they were kids, when they'd play outside every single day, look for creepy and interesting bugs, practice combat, aka, someone ended up with a black eye and sobbing. whenever those memories pop into his head, his permanent frown softens a bit, though he tries not to let anything show on his face. part of him does wish he could be close to them like they were as kids, but he's too stubborn and full of himself to actually try and repair the relationship he's mostly stilted over the years.

"Vampirism is a very hard thing to get used to for both parties. You'd have to get used to the new lifestyle and also there's the whole thing with fledglinghood," you explain before Marc cuts you off. "Fledglinghood? That's an actual thing?" Marc scoffs. "Believe it or not, Marc Spector. Fledglings are a legit thing in the vampire world and it's something alright," you say. "It's a whole thing. I'd basically have to teach you to adapt and get used to everything as a new vampire." you explain.

Marc lets out an amused scoff again, "I think I could hunt for my own. I had to track down people back before Jake took the job as Moon Knight for me and Steven." he says.

"Oh, that would be another thing," you exclaim. "I don't know how the whole fledgling thing would work because as the one turning you I would basically own your soul and body. Kind of...?" you drawl out, "And that would lead me and the old bird to have a custody battle over you." you add. Marc looks to you confused and slightly shocked. "Listen I don't know how DID works in regards to vampirism and going off the whole story you told me about dying for the second time I can't tell if you, Steven, and Jake count as three parts of a whole soul or you have your own. Also, you guys have the same body so all three of you would have it," you mention, "And I know Steven would hate the eating part of vampirism." you comment.

"True," Marc agrees. "But can we go back to the soul and body owning part? What the hell is that all about? Do I get it back or do you just keep it?" Marc questions. "Yes and no at the same time." you answer, "So if I were to turn you I would technically own you because I have your soul and you would be my fledgling. And in the old vampire world that usually spelled out servitude and other stuff. But in modern times we don't do that, but the soul owning is still a thing." you explain. "What usually happens now is I would own your soul till you were prepared to handle vampirism and control your urges just so you don't cause havoc when you're in a feeding frenzy state. Once you're out of that period I would give you your soul back and you then have autonomy over yourself again," you conclude. "Basically it's like a kiddie leash for vampires. You don't run off and cause trouble." you simplify.

"Huh." Marc responds. "Is that like in the movies? Where it's like trances?" Marc asks. You take a moment to think about it. "If I wanted to, yeah. But I don't usually do that when I can. I can make you do anything and I can control how conscious you are of it." you say. You expect Marc to just nod but something seems to catch his interest. "When you can?" he exclaims, "What the hell does that mean?" he questions. You realize that you've let something slip.

You sigh.

"Okay, don't be mad or freak out. But sometimes when you guys can't sleep or refuse to, I make you fall asleep. That's all I do, I swear. And I don't do it a lot. I only do it when you guys have been up for too long for it to be healthy and when I'm able to." you explain quickly. "And how are you able to?" Marc questions, seemingly slightly concerned. "Only when I've drunk your guys' blood recently." you answer, "I could also do it through eye contact but that's harder to sneak by you and also it freaks me out," you mention. "Freaks you out?" Marc echos. "When I do it through eye contact I can see your mind leave your eyes and you completely untense your body and it just looks freaky to me." you say. "It's not just you. Even though I stopped thinking about Buddie going canon in 6A, I can sympathize with the disappointment I’m seeing, but that ending was not about us.

I’m sure there are members of the writing staff who would have enjoyed making the couch theory about Buddie for the finale.

The reality is that they were tasked with writing the “safe” ending for the core fan base.

We are not the core fan base.

Buddie is not a legit pairing for those people because (sorry to say) neither guy fits their perception of how a queer character should be.

And with how these show runners try to create “the 9-1-1 America loves” (thanks for that, Kristen!), it is not at all surprising that the people running things believed the two “hot” younger guys couldn’t end a potential series finale single…or with each other.

Disappointing? Absolutely

Unexpected? No.

ok these is in no particular order buuut here are some HCs that i work from as a baseline for rotating them both in my head:

Both of them are in their early 40s, and joined the Black Organization at about the same time. Gin joined from the criminal side of things, while Vodka joined as a legit office worker. They started working together a few years in.

They are SO GOOD at non-verbal communication. They've completely changed mission plans on-the-spot multiple times, all with a couple of glances and nods.

Vodka fell for Gin YEARS before the events of canon but there is no world in which he makes the first move. Initially his silence was because "i would rather not risk pissing off my Murder-Boss who would maybe react by Murdering Me" but he's stayed silent because. Well. He's honestly happy with their relationship as-is. He can see how much Gin trusts him, values that immensely, and reciprocates it. They live together, for god's sake. It's not a romantic thing, sure, and sometimes Vodka wishes it was, but he cherishes what they have more than anything. ...meanwhile Gin is demi-romantic and very autistic and straight-up does not realize that he's in love with Vodka. he'll figure it out. eventually.

If you want to compare them to dogs (and i very much DO), then Gin is a Borzoi (sighthound) and Vodka is a Clumber Spaniel (flushing dog). Vodka scares targets into running and Gin chases them down.

Vodka runs hot and Gin runs cold. They achieve thermal equilibrium when they cuddle!! But it usually means the car's temperature is set way too hot for Vodka.

Gin is well aware that he's a vicious person in every aspect of his life, but he's waaaay past the point where he tries to hide it. Vodka likes his viciousness. Gin likes that Vodka likes his viciousness. They're both freaks and should be together to keep them from mauling the public.

I like to think that their canon height difference is an artifact of the show being Detective Conan — it's part of Conan's view of the world. Gin’s the one who attacked him as Shinichi, the one who keeps coming the closest to finding Conan out, the one who's more cruel and ruthless. Vodka ticks all those boxes too, yeah, but Gin is the one who Conan's actually scared of. So, from Conan's perspective, we see Gin as super frigging tall. He looms over everything, he's untouchable — while Vodka’s just Some Guy who looks pathetic and kinda meek when standing next to Gin. In reality — AKA, according to how i draw them — Gin and Vodka are the same height. Taller than Vodka’s canon height, but shorter than Gin’s. (Technically Gin is, like, an inch or two shorter, but it's such an insignificant difference that their hats and shoes make them the same.)

An outside observer would think that Gin takes everything Vodka offers and gives nothing in return, but that's not true. It's just that he shows affection like a large cat: with mauled corpses and by invading Vodka's personal space. He also does stuff like 'lets Vodka drive his very expensive and hard-to-get car' and 'respects Vodka's take on situations' and 'keeps falling asleep on Vodka' and—

They spar. Sometimes, those spars are all-out. During those spars, Gin tends to bite. A lot! There's blood. Vodka is okay with being his chew-toy. A little too okay with it. You could go so far as to say he's eager. In Gin's defense, if you're fighting for your life you have got to take any opening you can. There is no defense for Vodka.

Theoretically, if Kaitou KID were to disguise as Gin, then Vodka "My Main Love Language Is Learning Other's Mannerisms" BlackOrg would clock him in minutes. He wouldn't say anything immediately, but he spends too much time working with Gin to fall for that shit. If Kaitou KID were to disguise as Vodka, then Gin "My Main Love Language Is Letting My Guard Down" BlackOrg wouldn't realize something was up unless KID stood directly next to him — at which point Gin would switch to his second Love Language, Murder.

The first song Vodka ever sang to Gin was Hallelujah. Someday, it will be the last song he ever sings to Gin.

The first time they met was technically way back when Vodka was working for one of the B.Org's fronts and not in on the illegal stuff yet. His immediate superior, Syrah, was killed by Gin — who was going by a different codename at the time, Kina Lillet. Vodka was bringing paperwork to Syrah's office but heard the tail end of some yelling and the sounds of a struggle. When Kina walked out looking Suspiciously Casual wearing all black and generally looking Scary As Shit he decided that he was not getting payed enough to die for that company. Kina asked "how much did you hear" and Vodka replied "i mind my damn business, sir, so frankly i didn't hear shit" and went on his way to figure out an alibi. (They met formally a couple years later, as Gin and Vodka. Gin recognized Vodka but Vodka didn't recognize Gin.)

I can’t believe I had followed you this long without realizing you had a whole >100k word fic you were working on. I spent the past few days reading My Baby, You are a Gift, One I Will Cherish.

Your writing is honestly so amazing. I can’t remember the last time I read something that long from start to finish in such a short time. The characterizations, the reinterpretation of canon events; so many things were just incredible. It really shows how much work and care you put into it.  

It’s so nice to have a story that puts so much effort into fleshing out a character like Janet Drake. Was there anything in particular that inspired you when you were writing her?  

hahaha, yep, that's me! that fic is my baby lol. thank you, i get very bashful about my writing lmao. im glad the characterization had been decent, i'm always so worried about that. anyways, this answer might get a little long so i'm putting it under a cut lol

as far as anything in particular that inspired me? uhhh, well i guess i'll have to go into something that you're basically almost never going to see me talk about ever on the internet if i can help it so i'll still keep it vague-ish: i actually have a young child of my own. (i mean. if it wasn't super obvious already. people usually don't get into attachment science on a whim. they do it because it's 4:37AM and someone has only slept in half-hour increments since 11:30PM and they've been crying off and on for the past 2 hours desperately hoping that the someone will just fall asleep for 2 hours please and all they do is research everything about parenting obsessively because that's the absolute only thing they can do-). so i have spent a lot. and i mean a lot of time in parenting spaces. i'm part of my local area moms group in all their glory (they're very, uh, special), and i personally know a lot of other parents, and i'm basically immersed in a very interesting and complex culture (marriage and parenting culture). and i have seen my fair share of conplex, not great marital dynamics. and now that i have a kid that's what the majority of my patients talk to me about, so i get to hear a lot about different views and experiences of parenting from a lot of different viewpoints.

so anyways after the batman came out and my husband and i went on a date night to go see it, i ofc got the itch to get back into reading dcu fanfics and comics after not doing it for years since the nu52 (i also saw that they rebirthed tim's original history back, so i forgave dc a tiny bit), so i got myself the dc app so i could re-read all my beloved post-crisis comics. and it was a nice hobby to pick up again because it was very easy to pick up and put down in 20 minute increments and work around, you know, child care. i was devouring all the most popular fics (which 90% are fanon, lbr) while re-reading old storylines, and while the absolute disconnect between fanon and canon was fine for me at first because it's all fiction and i really didn't care that much, i eventually started to personally get a bit...discontent at fanon in general and the fanon drakes, especially janet (but jack too. like it or not, he does have an established characterization!). like. i read the comics!! she wasn't necessarily a great parent by any means, but the five panels she got prior to being fridged for tim to officially become robin basically showed her being physically affectionate, caring, and generally supportive of her son. who was this weird, cold woman who never once held her son and didn't care about his well-being at all?? she was unrecognizable to me. and as i started to make my way through post-crisis, i also became a bit mad at dc for killing her for tim's character and then basically making her a non-entity that barely got mentioned. despite her failings, tim was legit devastated when she died (and he later said he can't let himself drown in his grief for her--he clearly must have loved her so much) and then they did nothing with it. what was their relationship?? who was she?? why was she a generally loving mother yet left with jack?? did she think tim was okay?? what were she and jack constantly arguing about?? why did jack say to tim that his mother wouldn't want them to be so far apart?? did she maybe have some misgivings about traveling, did she not necessarily like being far away from tim?? how does this woman become the mother she does?? what were her intentions?? she deserved to have more character development in my mind! why does this woman basically get flattened into the worst mother ever? i know a lot of imperfect mothers who are in complex marriages and are just trying and not always succeeding. what exactly did that look like to me? how do i marry the two ideas?

another thing that interested me immensely was the idea of a difference in perception from tim and from his parents regarding tim's childhood. obviously, we know tim's pov. but what did his parents think? did janet think everything was going fine?? did they have a rosier picture of tim's childhood than he did? and thus, the first fic was born. me blathering for 27k words trying to showcase janet as a parent who was trying her best, who was semi-isolated by life circumstances, but was simply unable to balance work, kid, marriage and was unintentionally making tim feel abandoned by her, something she never would have wanted if she had realized. and that was going to be it.

and then i got sad about her, because janet as i view her (i like to think a lot of tim's good traits come from her) i think would have done a lot better with a second chance with tim than jack did! like, she, as a mother, might have a very different response to the tragedies and loss of her husband and try to focus more on her son than jack did. she as a widowed mother would also face very different judgments than jack did (society is obsessed with the idea that boys need a father figure--so she'd probably be more likely to let tim hang out with bruce rather than jack fighting their relationship at first because "it's good for him" to have an older man he can look up to) she's more supportive in her appearances, after all, saying that tim could be just like dick when he grows up. i think that she'd find out a lot sooner. and i think her surviving wouldn't have changed any of the big events, and i became obsessed with the idea of "but how would she deal with this canon event vs jack". she is, after all, a different character who deserves her own internal feelings and motivations. the drakes weren't great, but i don't think they're that irredeemably bad. and i think tim would want them redeemed too!

and nobody else was writing the canon-but-with-janet fic in my head that i couldn't stop thinking about, so i figured i'd give it a shot just in case there was one other person who felt the way i did and wanted to see it lmao.

anyways tl;dr a lot of inspiration comes from the fact that i am a mom and have spent way too many hours dissecting parenting in my head and the fact that i know a lot of moms who are very complex, imperfect humans and i just like stories about motherhood and allowing mothers to be nuanced and to redeem themselves.

Like I've just been thinking about HB pretty much non stop the past week or two, especially Blitzø because he's my favorite. To the point where I dream up scenarios for them while I'm falling asleep or if I'm listening to music, I'll just be watching a full-on animatic in my head of the characters singing the songs, even when I'm driving which is a bit spooky because I don't think I'm fully paying attention but I legit don't think I can turn it off. I don't really have anyone to talk to about it tho, the only one who really knows I'm autistic is my brother and I don't want him to see me differently because of how hard I obsess over things. There have been so many times I've wished I could just turn off my brain or wish that I could like things a normal amount or just be normal in general, but I guess it just wasn't in the cards. Then, I'm sorry that you feel you can't people about your feelings and all, as you can think, I can relate to all of your conflicts. It took me a while to accept myself and my neurodivergent brain and how it works. My family is still in denial, even after I told them about my OFFICIAL Diagnosis from 6? years ago.

There will always be people who think you're just overdoing things. Especially the traits they know you so well for, if they change from trait to symptoms.

Hyperfixation for me is a blessing and a curse, as I stated in my rant, I LOVE to deep dive into something. I don't do things half assed. In just two weeks I looked every video in which Brandon Rogers appears (to find out I KNOW him from Vine lol?), slithered through the slippery path that's Vivs past and why people are so weird about her, to watching full con panels, reading the posts of the animation crew and of course, do nothing but fan work myself. I'm through the whole Helluva Boss canon pairing tag complete only on AO3.

And it's not healthy. I know and yes, I KNOW it's not normal behavior. That's obsession. That's the thing that nearly drove me into an ED when I was a Teen.

I'm really happy that I found into the fandom, but I'm also very good with it if my brain calms down a bit. I was lucky to have this week off to get it out of my system, even if it destroyed my sleeping pattern COMPLETELY hehe.

So Anon, I hope that at som point in your life, you feel you can share your feelings with your close ones. They can help, if they're the right people and accept you with all of what's going on in your head. If you don't share how you feel, people are not able to understand.

2. Video games! What kind of games do the characters like to play if they do? Are they good at it? Do they complete the side quests or boost their stats? How much time do they spend playing?

I don't think I've thought about legit phobias for the canon characters...they can be scared of things because they're scary but it's not debilitating or completely irrational like a phobia would be.

It's probably just Ted playing video games and he's probably great at it. I bet he's a pokemon master, that's what I headcanon my own Ted OC being.

I'm only actively in the Lorax fandom! I like a lot of other things but I'm only a very casual art appreciator in "other fandoms" so I don't consider that being part of them.

I'll answer this for my own Audrey OC: yes she can sing, not like taylor swift level or anything, but she's very musically inclined and learned piano from a young age. She's very shy about singing though and is only comfortable with it if she's comfortable with you, so that's why you didn't see her singing Let it Grow in public.

My Audrey used to sleep on her front because she'd do a lot of bedtime reading and fall asleep accidentally in that position. Ever since the zombie apocalypse though, she sleeps on her side while hugging something so she can feel safe and not alone.

I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this before but I think it just makes sense for Judai to be naturally nocturnal. Like boy is legit the embodiment of the gentle *darkness* and canonically sleeps a lot during class. I genuinely think the only reason this boi can function during the day is due to years spent having to adapt to how society works around him. I can just imagine once he leaves duel academy he naturally reverts back to this system now that he doesn’t have such a need to conform. I can just see one of the gang walking downstairs in the middle of the night, finding these golden eyes staring at them from the darkness and just thinking “oh, Judai needed a place to recuperate after one of his Judai adventures” without fucking questioning it.

Oh, absolutely.

Again, Jaden to me is such a fascinating intersection between neurodiversity and genuinely non-human. Because when I first started watching GX, I immediately clocked this over-sleeping, daytime-catnap boi as a comrade in adhd; many of us naturally have circadian rhythms that are not in line with the rest of diurnal society. I for one can remember plenty of high school classes I slept through and, just like Jaden, managed to squeak out a passing grade through a combo of natural smarts and last minute panic.

So the idea that he's not only naturally like that not only due to his amazing cocktail of mental oddness, but also it's a deep part of the magic part of him, is so wonderful and comes with so many intricacies. It just feels. So nice, to see a character as chaotic and messy and against the grain as he is, traits nd viewers can relate to, while still making them deeply consequential to his life and his protagonistdom.

I headcanon that sleep is something he doesn't really need, especially after his fusion with Yubel, but he got into the habit as a kid (Again, projecting, but he was that kid that absolutely didn't want to go to bed and didn't understand all this "just lie down, you'll fall asleep :)" talk) So post-highschool, eventually when he's doing whatever he's doing in europe in bbt, he tends to travel at night and then explore and chat with people during the day, and catches small naps when he feels like it: On nice benches, log bus rides, that sort of thing.

And yes yes DOUBLE yes to his eyes reflecting in the dark like a cats. Glad to know we're all thinking it because it is 100% correct. He has freaked out many a person driving down the highway at night. Hassleberry probably has a similar thing, but only when his eyes are dino-ey. Jaden has it full time after his fusion with Yubel, and this not only makes it very easy to know when he's riffling through your kitchen at 3am, but also is one of the reasons the yearbook staff had such a hard time getting a nice picture of him. Eddie and Kirby Little Slices of Canon (3/?)

Me and @piratewithvigor have been talking about different things we think about Eddie and Kirby's relationship. It led to this.

Eddie, shirtless and sweaty, on his knees, beckoning Kirby to walk up to him, sticking his tongue out and licking his lips. Eddie biting Kirby's thighs softly.

Eddie is definitely the type to make dad jokes, which is why it's fortunate that Kirby likes dad jokes and bad puns.

Eddie falls asleep on the sofa at random times, Kirby just shrugs and puts a blanket over him before going back to taking care of the kids, even though she desperately needs sleep herself.

Kirby and Eddie bring the kids into work one time when they're very young, so they can see everyone and MJF decides to be a lil shit and does something to wake the kids up. It's the reason they only bring he kids in once, mainly because Eddie legit tries to kill MJF for messing with his kids.

Kirby has to remind him that babies aren't made of glass and he is allowed to hold them, Eddie's very secretive about his emotions so he very rarely holds any of his kids in public, but his dad reflexes are top tier so any time he notices that one of his kids is about to get hurt he's taking them away from danger immediately. He carries them all the time when they're babies, but when they get to walking age, he doesn't carry them in public as much anymore.

The first time he holds his kids, any of his kids, it's like he's been handed a precious gem, he's so careful about holding them, Kirby on the other hand is less so because she's got experience holding babies from her cousins and the rest of her family so she just protects her kids when they're new-borns.

Eddie and Kirby both like mangos, which leads to Eddie stealing Kirby's food and drinks.

Eddie is incredibly loyal, especially to Kirby, if anyone tries to separate them in public (for example they're at a bar, someone stands between them and offers to buy Kirby a drink) Eddie will just growl and wrap his arms around Kirby.

Kirby's just as loyal, but Eddie makes sure that his attention is on her, unless he's talking to someone else, but Kirby is shy about pda so it takes Eddie to actually start any form of pda.

Eddie can tell Kirby's tired by what she says, and will just carry her to bed and stay with her until she falls asleep, mainly because Eddie still wants to listen to Kirby's affectionate ramblings.

Eddie and Kirby make sure to facetime each other after their matches and after shows, like Kirby will be covered in blood after a particularly violent death match and has yet to go to the medical staff and Eddie will pick up this facetime call and start telling her how 'fuckin' sexy' she is. They both genuinely find the blood sexy.

Sometimes Kirby will do things to purposefully get Eddie even more turned on, like licking the blood off of her lips or fingers.

To get Eddie's attention when he's on his phone, Kirby will whisper 'Papi' in his ear.

Kirby uses Eddie's belly as a pillow, especially when they're both laying on the floor of their living room, bored out of their minds.

I watched the second episode of All Access, so have a little scenario:

When Kirby's off work (either injured or pregnant) she'll bring the kids to work to see Eddie, and Kirby and Eddie will sit with each other and talk, all the while Eddie's playing with and enjoying the company of their kids. I imagine it goes something like:

Eddie's sitting somewhere, alone, scrolling through his phone. Kirby rolls the stroller over to Eddie and stops.

"Hey Pá, you a'ight Kingy." Kirby whispers.

Eddie smiles as he looks up at his wife, "I'm better now that ya here, Doll, c'mere." Eddie pats his lap as he puts his phone on the chair next to him.

Kirby sits on Eddie's lap and kisses him gently, rolling the stroller in front of them. Eddie deepens the kiss, slipping his tongue into Kirby's mouth before pulling away, a smirk on his lips.

"So, what's Mami been up to, how have the babies been?"

"Well, as per usual, your sons are little troublemakers, especially Emyr."

"That's my boy." Eddie grins.

"And your mother wants to have them for a week, she did say she might try feeding the twins Puerto Rican food."

"My sons, they travel with me, especially while they're still young, I don't want to miss anything."

"I know Kingy, I told her that." Kirby murmurs, running her fingers up and down Eddie's back.

Eddie looks at Kirby and smirks, sliding his hands up the back of her shirt and making Kirby straddle his lap, "More importantly, how's my gorgeous wifey doin'? I miss you being at work wit' me," He whispers, his voice husky as he kisses her neck, "I miss you training with me, and blurring those lines between exercise and sex, I miss fuckin' you in ya ring gear."

"Ed, there are people around, we can't risk being caught, think of the fuckin' headlines 'Two AEW stars caught having sex at Arena'." Kirby whispers.

"Tonight, Doll?"

"I'm all yours later, Doughboy... God, you look so handsome, Eddie."

"Only to you, and only for you, Princess." Eddie smirks, kissing Kirby gently.

"You really missed me, didn't ya, not just the sex?"

I know dororo canonically knows how to use a computer bc i just rewatched the episode where the platoon tries to make their own anime today and he uses a computer to do the coloring digitally but like. Dororo does not know how to use a computer. He first learned about stuff on earth from koyuki who spent half her life in a completely isolated village and only got out after she met him and he hasn’t branched out much since. I don’t know if we ever see him play video games or anything like that. I don’t think he would know how to do that. Anyhow point is i want to see the keroro platoon play minecraft. Dororo keeps trying to build peaceful little houses with nice farms and they keep getting accidentally blown up or burnt down by everyone else. Tamama is in the caves trying to befriend slimes and when he finds out he can’t he just starts killing them en mass.
