What makes me happy about them: I love how Haori does not fucking hesitate to keep flirting with Ryutaro upon finding out that he is in fact Susato. what a queen

What makes me sad about them: the fact that their reunion in-game occurs when Susato is coming back, rushed, on what she assumes to be a family tragedy; and what she finds instead is Haori having been through a horrifically traumatizing event in her absence. both of these girls trying their best to study and have careers in Meiji Japan. the world makes it so fucking difficult for them.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: it's not so much a specific thing done in fanfic as like, an overarching trend that people tend to fluffify them a ton. i get it they're cute and lighthearted but they're also sixteen-year-olds in a world that is unfair to them. that being said, i also don't like the idea of making them 'tragic' for the drama of it all. let them be happy, but also give them depth basically!

Things I look for in fanfic: i don't read a ton of dgs fic these days but i look for good Haori background and characterization

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Gina, Maria...and that applies to either of them lol

My happily ever after for them: marriage marriage fraud (I can't take credit for this idea, since I first heard it from Seven ofc! but it's so real to me)

I just finished the unicorn (finally!!) and let me tell you how much I loved part 3! Guru that was the sweetest and fluffiest ending ever. And not just sweet and fluffy, but so well done. I'm screaming!

Not only did you make part 3 super hot and made me hang on to each and every last word, I wound up really understanding his wife in it all. Kit was on my naughty list after part 2 but then the way you explained her feelings and how she regretted her actions, it was like the most amazing way you could have redeemed a character ever. And if I'm not mistaken, it really seems like Kit somehow pushed for Harry to go after Y/n in some way. When they were talking at the bar and how he mentioned that she wanted him to find someone he had the kind of chemistry he had with Y/n? And when she met with Kit and Kit started to stay something and she was like -if anything ever...- and then she just didn't finish her thought I was wondering if she was trying to let Y/n know it was okay to seek Harry out? Or maybe not. Maybe I read too much into it.

Goddd and the way he sent her that merry christmas text out of the blue with a picture of himself and the boys like the most dad thing to ever do but it worked 🥺 Y/N saw that and was all 😍 that's my man right there 😍

And you're spot on with what you thought about Kit wanting to tell Y/n she could pursue Harry if she wanted. She saw them together and knew they were just right for eachother. Even if her initial reaction was very knee jerk (she's human after all) she came to her senses the following day and knew that there needed to be a change, and had to reflect on her own feelings for her husband and what she really wanted.

I never wanted Kit to be the bad guy but I did end part 2 in such a way that made people very angry with her (gotta build the suspense and the plot right?) and then come at me about the way I wrote her. But to me, I just felt like Kit was reacting to a bad threesome with her husband. Harry did something he shouldn't have (hardly anyone bothered to look at what he'd done wrong) and her response was to lash out, even if unfairly. It was, in a way, just a woman being a human and responding with hurt and anger.

And! You know what? I guess I should move the fic over to the short series section. I'll make a masterlist and put everything over there later today :) Thank you for the suggestion babe! And thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts with me. This means so much to me!!

I am returning oh so soon with another ‘director’s commentary’ on a toronto maple leafs video.

as apparently...one of 4.5 justin/mitch truthers (me, justin, mitch, remaining 1.5 = mathematically shoddy amalgamation of the various lovely ppl on here who have come to me to talk about justin and mitch)...i felt like it was My Duty to share my annotated version of this video.

so, this leafs: blueprint episode is ostensibly about justin’s contract renewal but is really ultimately about celebrating justin holl the human.

As a 2nd/3rd line defenseman, Justin is always going to be perceived as an unglamorous “grinder” who’s invisible at best or unfairly maligned at worst. Which is completely unfair, but the reality of the NHL and a team that’s stacked with so many household names.

Everyone shared a couple laughs.

“It was an accident, i couldnt tell which one was hot and cold” you glared at him, everyone laughing again.

2. What made you notice them?

I’d probably say his smile. Specifically this one from the Trespass MV. It’s just hella cheeky and caught my attention like boyyyy you look like a troublemaker and I’m here for this. But then Jooheon beat him to the spot of first bias so he just became my bias wrecker until he wrecked his way to the top

3. What’s your favorite thing about them?

Okay I know I fangirl over his body and face and heart a lot, but I’d say my favourite thing about Wonho is his voice. Hearing him talk, sing, laugh... like it’s so smooth and soothing and just... oomf... I’ve gone to sleep listening to asmr edits of his voice before and I love it. It warms my heart.

4. Who would initiate more skinship?

I feel like it could be either of us because Wonho seems like he’d be a pretty touchy person, and although I do have my moments where I avoid human contact like the plague, I’m the kinda person to randomly tackle someone with a hug, lick your face or just cling to your arm while we walk.

Okay I could see this going two ways. 1) We’d be laying down facing each other, I have my face and hands buried in his chest, and his arms wrapped around me. 2) I’m sitting up slightly and he has his head laying on my lap and I’m just petting him softly.
