Photography: Fearless Girl, Wall Street 12/23/23
Photography: Fearless Girl, Wall Street 12/23/23 @DowntownNYC
Last week. I was downtown for an annual Christmastime gathering with some friends. Because New York during Christmas can be a gorgeous, nostalgia-inducing dream, I had taken my Canon R6 and walked from World Trade Center to my friends’ place taking photos as I went along.
As I got to Wall Street, I knew I wanted to get a picture of the Wall Street Christmas tree and of Fearless Girl with my…

The Power of Creative Excellence and the Loss of an Icon
The Power of Creative Excellence and the Loss of an Icon
Every once in awhile it’s nice to get another perspective on creativity and its influence in the advertising industry. We were young, wild & free. There was no fear.
just the attraction to warm nights & dumb ideas♡
The only reason was the fear of getting bored.
We wanted to live before we die.♡

The Artist Behind 'Fearless Girl' Is Selling NFTs to Fund Her Legal Case Against the Company That Put the Statue on Wall Street
What surprises me is that she didn't have paperwork for them to sign saying at the end of the day, the statue still belongs to her 🤔 I mean maybe there is and the article failed to mention that.
When I got married and hired the photographer, I signed paperwork that essentially said even though the images will be mine, the photographer will own the rights to them (so I couldn't try to sell them or something to make money and what not). It just really surprises me that with SUCH an expensive piece of art, and I'd assume she was established enough to have access to knowing legalities, that she has had to fight so hard.
I'm sure there's more to it but it definitely made me wonder enough 😅

Something about this pictures hits SO hard… like it gets right to the core of why we love her so much. She is the girl next door, our big sister who sits on the floor with us at sleepovers and laughs, cries, and sings with us about girlhood
Edit: like it’s not about the glitz and glamour, the awards, the popularity, the earth-shattering and record-breaking success–there are other artists who can do similar things (albeit not to her level). It’s about the sacred space between this girl, her guitar, and us
