Armchair diagnosis is a scourge and I say this because zero people diagnose people they like with mental illnesses, and when they diagnose people they hate they're always psycho/sociopaths or narcissists and I am begging people to understand why diagnosing exclusively people you hate with highly stigmatized mental illnesses simply because you don't like them is insanely ableist. If you'd never diagnose someone you love and respect as a narcissist then you shouldn't be throwing that label around as a way to scarlet letter people you don't like- that is not a symptom of mental illness. Okay but I need yall to help me figure out the character(s) for the following scenario:

Imagine a romantic yandere falling for reader, and ofc reader isn't in love with yandere for obvious reasons like red flags. Maybe they did try dating, Yandere is a charmer, comes from a rich family, he's smart and hardworking and oh so head over heels in love with you. He's always taking you out on best dates, HAS to get you the largest fucking bouquets (excellent taste in flowers) and buys you expensive but well thought out gifts.

But for whatever reason, things dont work out and you break things off hastily and most likely over the phone before leaving the country. And yandere just- breaksdown. I mean my man does not have a good mental health as is, but you leaving, actually leaving him just breaks him down and he has a full blown panic attack.

I'm talking about yandere falling to his knees, clutching his chest and gasping for air, tears streaming down his face as he screams your name like a mad man. His family, they love him, they adore their son/brother/grandchild sm, it pains them to see him in such a miserable state. Yandere man is so delirious that he has to be sedated, tranquillised by medical professionals because he's just losing his fucking mind, babbling your name over and over again like a mad man. His condition only worsens as time passes, and so his family decides to take drastic measures because they can't see their beloved son/brother/grandkid so fucking dead and depressed and a shell of a once bright man. They love him so much, they only want ti see him happy, so they use their money and influence to track you down and try to convince you to return and take yandere back. When you refuse, they take the high way and force you to come with them, dragging you kicking and screaming to their private jet and fly all the way home, where yandere is.

You're in a dishevelled state, tears running down your cheeks as you struggle to free yourself from their grasps as they take you to yandere. And when yandere sees you... for the first time in months, his family sees the light return in his eyes as the yandere reaches out for you, scared that you're just his mind playing tricks. When he finally touches you, he is immeadiately pulling you into a hug, arms tightening around your body like a gilded cage as he cries into your shoulder and thanks his family for bringing you back. His family only smiles with tears in their eyes as they lock the door behind them when they leave, so that you don't go running away. Meanwhile, yandere has pulled you into his lap and he's looking at you with such sad eyes, staring at each feature of yours over and over again as if to memorise it all again. He can't help the tears that continue to slip out of his eyes, maybe he's crying that you're finally here, or maybe he's crying for all the time that's been lost when you weren't here. You fall asleep soon due to exhaustion, but yandere doesn't sleep a wink that night because he continues to stare at you and play with your hair very gently, finally closing his eyes when morning comes and he wraps his arms around you and traps your legs with his.

By now, you guys realise that the yandere's family is not only yandere for their son/brother/grandson but also for you. They are yandede for you too, but they're not allowing you to leave them or their son or even make him unhappy ever again. Some members are willing to let all you "tantrums" slide, while others are not so kind. BUT one thing is for sure, you're ALWAYS safe with yandere s/o, no matter what.

He almost settles to whining and begging for your attention, asking why and how you like this drawing and not him! He's your loyal servant after all!

THE FASHION !!! why was it so mid I was superrrrr excited to see a film set in 06/07 but the fashion was majorly lacking elspeth is mother her costumes ate of course but the rest of the cast and extras were so mid there were a few exceptions here and there but there’s so much to explore in terms of fashion in this time period yet the costumes weren’t great venetia’s outfits hurt my soul she could’ve been such a cool character think indie sleaze vibes (ik this wasn’t a thing back then but something similar rather than the glittery bullshit she’d have on) farleigh also could’ve served cunt but was painfully lukewarm

Wanting a fondant cake with a 24 hour notice and getting upset when we can't do it (fondant takes a least 2 days to dry)

People who don't understand that we close early on Sundays.

People who try to open the door an hour before we open or an hour before we close and look visibly upset when they see me not move to let them in like we arent???? Open???

People who don't even try to open the door at our smaller store and think we're closed when we are open. (And people are often inside.)

People who try to hold a conversation for way too long

People who don't take an extra 2 minutes to look for what they want before asking me

where it is only for it to be a foot to their left.

People who dawdle at closing time.

People who leave their phone/cask/card in their car and have to run out to get it. They normally don't notice until their rung up.

People who try to break a $100 bill within the first hour of being open then get surprised when we don't have enough change to do that.

One of the worst interactions I had was in the bakery. This lady asked me if the strawberry cheesecake was good. I said "if you like strawberry it is." I guess that offended her somehow and she made it her mission to see my try a piece so I can tell her if it's good.

The problem with her plan is I'm allergic to strawberries. She was not having any of my "lies" and found anyone and everyone one and told them I am a horrible worker because I refused to "accommodate her request." She eventually ran into the only douche canoe manager we had at the time and got him to start insisting I try a bite to make her happy. I ended up just walking out on the rest of the shift and he tried to write me up. HR forced him to drop it when I threatened to sue.

The Fight

Summary: The night before the newborn battle, tensions between Jacob and y/n come to a head, will he choose to stay, or to go?

A/N: hey yall! i’ve decided to do a sort of re write of the ending of eclipse and a few other scenes from the movies with a y/n x Jacob plot! All of them will be part of a larger series but can be read as standalones if you like. More to come soon!

I stood outside of Jacob and Billy’s little house with Jake's big jacket over top of me. I hadn't even realized I was wearing it until I was standing here outside his door. The cracked red and brown of the door slowly opened to Jake's face, brows furrowed, tilting his head down to see me standing at the bottom step.

“y/n/n? What are you doing here?” He held the door partially open and for a second I wondered if he might not let me in. That I even had to consider that told me I was right to be here.

“It's freezing, come on, get inside” He closed the door behind me and helped me shrug off the oversized jacket of his that I was in, layers and layers of sweatshirts and long sleeves underneath. I stood there in the hall waiting for Billy to roll up and say hello until Jacob grabbed my hand and led me to the living room.

“He's not here, I dropped him off with the Clearwaters so he doesn't spend tonight all alone”

I kept my head facing down and waited for him to ask me again what I was doing here. I may have made the initiative to come but for some reason I hated the idea of being the first one to speak.

“y/n/n? What are you doing here?” I could have sworn I heard the wind outside stop as if it were catching its breath, waiting for me to answer.

“I can't let you go when we're like this, Jake. I can’t let myself move on and plan a fucking battle when you’ll barely even look me in the eye. If we are going to fight then I need to know what's waiting for me on the other side.” I didn't wait for him to respond or question me but just plowed ahead.

“I don't want you to go with Bella, Jake.”

“y/n I have-”

“No. No you don't- and let me finish- If this is going to be your last night, do you really want to spend it with her? Do you really want to put yourself through the pain of watching her and Edward together when you could be with me, with the pack that needs you? With your family?”

“I have a duty to protect her.” 

“Protect her from what? What could you save her from that Edward can’t!” I didn't mean to raise my voice. But there it went. 

“For christ's sake y/n, from Edward. Alright? I have to protect her from him!”

“Jacob, she loves him! Can't you just be happy loving me? Is that not enough for you? Why can't you just let her go?” He stopped. Head bowed down as a single tear ran down my cheek. 

“It is enough.”

“Then why won't you stay?”

“y/n, it is enough-”

“You know these past few months I have been tearing myself into pieces.” I let the silence sink in before I finally let out the secret I had been carrying with me for so long.

“I know we’re imprints Jacob! For months I have been agonizing. Making sure that what I was feeling wasn't fake, waiting for you to man up and come to me, tell me yourself. Waiting for you to let yourself be happy. Not all of the women in your life are bound to die and leave you heartbroken and alone! Some of us want to stay! Some of us are here and alive now and love you! why can’t you just fucking see that?” 

The second I said it I knew it was a mistake. I shouldn't have come here. I should have just let him go. 

But what if he dies tomorrow? What if he leaves tonight and the last thing I've said to him is this.

A familiar old car pulls into his driveway. The engine sputters out. Jake is already heading toward the door, silently telling me exactly what his answer is. He doesn't look at me. Doesn’t speak as he grabs a bag and slings it over his shoulder, puts a hand on the door.

“Jake-” and just like that he’s gone. 

Alone in a house that smells like him I began to sob. How could I have said that to him? After knowing what I do? After being with him through all of the heartache and pain? What had I done?

But somehow I moved. I dragged out the supplies from Billy's closet. The ones I had brought along in my car. I moved around setting up cots and blankets and basins of water. I didn't stop until I barely recognized the room I was in earlier. A different hand knocked on the door. This time I knew who it was and at least I didn't have to dread this.

“Hey pup”  Seth Clearwater walked through with a small backpack hanging from his hand.

“I told you, I'm not a pup, I'm practically full grown!” for the first time in hours my heart lifted a little.

“Mhm, you can tell that to the baby blanket in that bag of yours.” 

The rest of the boys slowly trickled in through the night, everyone gathering at our new homemade sick bay. We decided to go back to Emily and Sams place for the night, spend the night there as a pack- as a family- and those of us that were not fighting would head back up in the morning. I dreaded being with them all night. I knew that all of them had heard what I said to Jake. Probably hated me for it more than I did. But not Emily. Never Emily.

“Oh baby. Sam told me what happened.” The second I stepped into the house she was on me, gripping me so hard I could barely breathe. I had thought I was going to be able to hold it together. I had done so well with all of the boys, even when they stared and frowned like they couldn't believe what I had said. Something about Emily always made me feel loved. Known. Like no matter what mistakes I made or stupid shit I did she would always be there to help me out of it. And she had been, at least so far.

“I can't believe myself, Em. God knows what's going to happen tomorrow and now I've gone and made him think about that? What was I thinking? What if I was wrong?” 

“Hey. No, none of that, he knows you didn't mean it.” Sam entered as Emily released me and took the bag from my arms.

“Really? Is he saying that or are you just trying to distract me?” He laughed and kissed Em on the cheek.

“Really. Of course he's hurt but he could never hate you. He knows that you were just trying to keep him safe.”

A little knot in my heart unraveled at that. Hours of crying and wondering put to a stop by just one sentence. Thank god for wolf telepathy. 

“Thank you, Sam. thank you.” He gave me a curt nod before heading to the kitchen with the other boys, probably going to eat all of whatever Emily made for dinner. She stopped me before I could walk off to the guest bedroom.

“Eat with us, please. I promise after that I'll let you go be alone for a while, but just tonight, I want us all to eat together, okay?”

A few minutes later we were sprawled out in the living room, paper plates filled with chicken and rice and corn all over the various surfaces. Despite what Sam had told me I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something going on with Jacob. Not just that he was mad at me for what I said, but something beyond that, something weird was happening on that mountain right now.

“What is it? What aren't you guys telling me right now?” they all looked over at me for a second, but turned their heads to Sam almost in an instant. The alpha looked back and was clearly having a silent conversation with the younger wolves before he nodded and began to speak.

“Jacob and Edward are…at odds.”

“Okay? They always are, that isn't something new, what's going on up there, Sam?”

“Jacob’s in bed with her. Just keeping her warm, I swear to you, but he knows that it would kill you to hear that.” 

Boy was he right. It did kill me. All of that tension Sam had relieved earlier was right back again. A heavy sinking feeling in my chest. I was quiet for a moment while I looked out the windows at the dark woods. 

“I think I'm going to go to bed. Don't tell Jake please, okay?” they nodded as I went off to the room. 

Once I was alone there was no stopping the trails of tears down my face. Still fully clothed I fell onto the bed and could feel the warm sheets beneath my head begin to dampen with my tears. I could hear the pack laughing and conversing in the living room. 

 I was alone here, and terrified. Knowing that I was tied to him in every way possible. Knowing that he might not want to be tied to me. What would I do if he rejects this? This feeling inside me that never seems to dull no matter how angry I was or how far he goes. I would be alone again, so alone. While Jacob was with Bella, keeping her warm and safe, I was alone and cold in this bed, wondering what the next day would bring.

ok im gonna drop my character analysis on splinter/lou jitsu because im tired of people hating on him.

lets think about the circumstances he was in for moment. image you spent your life as a kickass action star only to get kidnapped by the person you loved and forced to fight in the battle nexus. you have to go through the grief of being betrayed by someone you shouldve been able to trust while now living in a chamber (which looks like it has just the poorest living conditions) and you have zero contact to the outside world, AND your ex who got you into this mess is using you for profit and throws you into fights you have no say in for peoples entertainment for who knows how long! i dont think its ever been stated how long he has been living like that!

now on top of all that imagine the moment you escape you get turned into a fucking rat. now i know its usually joked about but seriously being a rat does seem to really bother splinter and if you think about for like 5 seconds? yeah? why wouldnt it? he basically had his body changed in ways he did not consent to.

so yeah obviously after all that this guy is mentally ill as fuck and i bring all this up because of course it affects his parenting. imagine going through all that and now you have to be a dad to FOUR children (all of which are babies at this time) that you understand none of the biology of, and you have to raise them with ZERO outside support (seriously why doesnt anyone talk about that. what does he do if he needs someone to babysit them or one of them gets sick cause he aint a docter) all this combined makes me think yeah. ofc hes not gonna do a good fucking job.

and when the boys are teenagers and dont need the 24/7 supervision they did as babies. you see splinter spending a lot of his time watching tv melting into the recliner because * drum roll * he is depressed. i do not think he is lazy i think he is depressed and probably traumatized but he never had time to process that trauma because he had to be a dad.

because he spends so much time sulking in the living room his sons (specifically donnie) feel like he doesnt want to spend time with them and are reasonably upset with him.

so in the 22nd episode of the first season when splinter tricks donnie into entering the demolition derby. that was an eye opener for him to be better. he saw the absolute hurt in donnie’s eyes and tone of voice because he thought he wanted to spend time with him. that was the eye opener he needed to realize “oh shit. i really fucked up. i need to spend time with my sons. i need to be better for them.” and he apologizes to donnie because yeah, what he did wasnt okay.

and you can tell he changed for his sons because in “hidden city’s most wanted” you can tell all he wanted to do was spend time with mikey.

and the thing is there is nothing that can convince me his sons (and april to admitably) dont mean the fucking world to him. when draxum tells him that before him he had no purpose, that he was a husk of a man he says hes not lost anymore because he has his sons. his sons were the first thing he thought of when he needed a reason to why his life didnt fucking suck now.

this man went against the hamato clan teachings and almost got all of humanity killed for the sake of his sons. he loves his sons and he hasnt been great to them and he wants to change because he knows they deserve better. there is literally so much love emanating from this family.

a lot of people say that splinter is abusive/neglectful and im not denying that hes not perfect but jesus you can criticize his parenting without treating him like an irredeemable monster (because he is redeemable and he did change for the better)

also i know yall arent gonna wanna hear this but someones gotta say it cause its the truth: in general people will be harder on ethnic parents and treat them less like actual people capable of making mistakes. yes splinter is a rat but he is still ethnically japanese. he is a person of color and as someone whos been in fandom for awhile yeah people are suspiciously a lot more forgiving to white parents who make mistakes compared to when parents of color make them. i really do think its causing a bias.
