I watch Donnie Darko with a friend who’s already seen it, and there’s a scene where two of Donnie’s buddies are making lewd jokes about Smurfette. I angrily point out the inaccuracies to Smurf lore and right afterwards, Donnie proceeds to correct them on the exact same facts in the exact same manner.
