I enjoyed my few days of processed foods, carbs, chocolates:) time for a cleanse and back to 3 weeks of fresh foods. I can't believe I use to eat so many horrible foods. Because I eat extremely healthy for over 2 years. I can really see how eating poorly makes me blah, bloated, tired and lazy. Even though I've painted my entire kitchen, I'm just not feeling accomplished. Fresh food makes my mind and body feel fresh too:)

Keto Ligurian Chicken with Olives and Cherry Tomatoes. 4 servings. 1.5g net carbs. DAIRY-FREE. Quick, easy and tasty.  In my heavily biased opinion, you can't go wrong with a typical Italian-style meal. Flavoursome, loaded with healthy ingredients, nourishing, and bursting with flavour. Simple things are often the best, and this meal is 100% testament to that. It is customisable, of course. If you like fire in your food, add some chopped chillies. Hate olives? Leave them out. The Fall season means it is the perfect time for chili. 🥣 . This was a big batch of it we made last weekend. Perfect for my current prep since the fat content can be easily tweaked by adding butter, cheese, or cream to a bowl as needed. 👍. _______ Macros (1 cup serving - makes about 8 servings) Protein 26g Fat 5g Net Carbs 2.5g Ingredients - I pack of Mushrooms, diced - 1 Tbs Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp Ground Red Pepper - 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin - 1/8 tsp Garlic powder (optional) - 1/8 tsp Black pepper - 1 tsp salt - 8 Tbs Organic tomato paste (publix) - 1 cup Cajun Trinity mixed chopped vegetables (onion, celery, bell pepper - Kroger) - 32 oz Beef for Stew - 12 oz Water Directions - Combine all ingredients inside slow cooker/crockpot. - Cook on High for about 5 - 6 hrs. Stirring occasionally. - Salt, pepper and season to taste. - Chili is ready when the meat easily shreds. Tips - The mushrooms can do a decent job of creating a little bit of a faux bean texture when the mushrooms are sliced thick enough. This is SO important. 🥘 Any time a new food trend hits the market, there are always going to be profiteers who want to tout their latest products as adhering to it. It happened with #vegetarian, #vegan, #atkins, #paleo, #glutenfree, and now it’s happening with #Keto. 🧪🧬 There are lots of people who just want to read a catch-phrase on a package and buy it, claiming to be in adherence with the latest diet. It doesn’t work that way. You have to get the basic science or at least the “tenets” of these diets and a bit of the “why,” or you’re going to fall for the profiteers’ work. These marketers live by the letter of the law, not the big picture. As long as you buy their products, you’re adhering to the diet you chose, in their eyes. Don’t be that person: understand what you’re doing at least at the level of intent! ⭐️ #Repost @dave.asprey with @get_repost ・・・ Anytime a movement of consumers activates inevitably profiteers will move to action.
