She appeared on a tiktok crying after a series of mysterious tweets and instagram posts. Neither her or Lando have yet confirmed the rumors. But she has been absent from his likes and vice versa.

Thoughts on the “Look my Way” music video? For context if you don’t know, this is a fan song that’s just animated. Paranoid DJ had written this song awhile back, though Viv did take out some lyrics and switch them up a bit. What I personally don’t like is that there’s a line in the original where Stolas mentions the “impish play thing” line, as well as acknowledges that Octavia is hurting, and Viv cut that out. The song itself also doesn’t help for the show narratively really regarding the ship of Stolitz.

OMYGOD Okay so much to talk about here. It's a BEAUTIFUL song, amazing song, and I even loved the original of it. The animation for this AMV is breathtaking, everyone did an AMAZING job on it. This is what Helluva Boss songs should sound like. I was annoyed with that one scene, albeit very pretty where Stolas and Blitz have a string attached to the pinky finger, which is an indication of soulmates. This bothers me because a soulmate is either A. someone you have been reincarnated with over the years to love or B. Someone you click with- someone who completes you. You meet in every lifetime or they are the perfect person for you. This does not fit Stolas X Blitz AT ALL. They are not perfect for each other, they are complete opposites and the entire appeal and beauty of their relationship was the fact that they were fuckbuddies! They weren't even friends! They were tied up in manipulations, classism, and power imbalances. Their relationship required a lot of growth, a lot of work, and a LOT of learning on what love actually was, how to maintain it, and how to right their wrongs like-They needed to actively explore and learn what love means. They needed to find a real connection that would actually give them chemistry. Being soulmates is a complete cop-out. (Soulmates don't rely on reincarnation, but some do- and reincarnation is not a thing for demons???) You could say I'm overthinking it and being nitpicky with this visual, but this is exactly what it is! That is a soulmate string!!! He even says "I'll grant you this mercy, this bind on our souls-" LIKE BRUH wHAT !!! I'm so mad about what their relationship has become. They were toxic but not doomed. Now they're nothing Anyway..... still very beautiful and pretty

I have friends who actually know this guy and work closely with him. Apparently, Viv was the one who asked to change the lyrics of the song because it didn't "fit her story"???????? The lyrics changed: OG: "Come now, my little impish plaything, we both made our choice" Viv: "But dearest, I know better now I must give you this choice" It makes sense why she would want this changed since this song is about Stolas actually finally being in love. But it's still very sus because we still have not addressed Stolas's classism problem that seems to fluctuate episode to episode. OG: "Is this how she'd feel? Abandoned, all alone and left to fend For herself, for some semblance of happiness that doesn't have to end?" Viv: "Is this what you feel? Scorned by a realm that cannot comprehend, What you are, so I'll grant you this mercy this bind- on our souls needs to end" Again I can understand this change because we are going off-topic with Octavia here. However, I do find these changes very suspicious, especially if she wanted the song to better "fit her story". Because these circumstances are things that I have accused Viv of retconning before. Where Stolas wasn't actually in love with Blitz from the start and only saw him as a shiny toy, an "impish little plaything". Where Stolas was actually shady in cheating on his wife and not being there for his daughter nor really understanding her. "Home doesn't feel like home anymore. You ruined it." I can understand in the context of the song why these lines would be removed, but in the context of the overall story, I'm very suspicious of it, because those are very important contexts that people try to insist are "just people's headcanons" when they literally aren't. This could be considered active proof of Vivziepop retconning her story, but I will go with the latter and stick to my logical explanations for why the lyrics were changed- gonna try to have some faith here.

Apparently, Cherri and Angel's AMV Addict was also a fan song. In THAT video, this is the description. Fully acknowledging it was a fan song, and giving clear credit to the person who made the song.

This is insanely shady! I don't know if this was just a mistake or not, but this is really uncool. Again, he's at least in the ending credits, but... the description would make it more obvious. Vivziepop has a history of not crediting people for their work- I don't know if she was the one who made this mistake nor not.... this is not the worst it could have been, but at the very least whoever runs the youtube should fix the description out of respect.

You were sitting on your bed with a book in your hands, currently invested in the plot of the latest novel you were reading. Page after page, you felt yourself get pulled in deeper, almost in a trance as you took in the story. You turned the page once more, suspense building within you, when a knocking at your window thrusted you back into reality.

Sighing in annoyance, you placed your bookmark back in between the pages and set your book down, turning to see who had interrupted you. Annoyance turned into anger when you saw your boyfriend, JJ, crouched outside your window with a cheeky grin on his face. You stood up and rushed over to the window, throwing the window open.

“What are you doing here?!” you asked, frustrated by his sudden appearance.

Seemingly oblivious to your displeasure, JJ crawled through the window, gently pushing you aside in the process. You scoffed as he closed the window behind him and walked over to your bed, laying back on it.

“What? Suddenly I need a reason to see my girlfriend? Just missed you is all, haven’t seen you in a few days.”

You groaned, walking over to your bed and standing in front of JJ, grabbing his arm and pulling him up into a sitting position.

“JJ, you know you can’t be here!”

He shrugged. “What’s the big deal? It’s not like we’re a secret anymore. Thought we wouldn’t have to sneak around still.”

You crossed your arms, huffing in annoyance. “Well, it was supposed to stay a secret. But someone messed that up.”

JJ’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion, your harsh tone finally registering in his mind. He had thought you were just messing around and pretending to be annoyed by his sudden appearance, but the more he looked at you, the more actually upset that you seemed.

“Wait, babe, are you actually upset about that? I thought that you’d be happy about all this. People know, we can be together now.” He stood up and walked over you, gently uncrossing your arms and taking your hands in his. “Isn’t that what you want? To be with me?”

You frowned, pulling your hands away from him, noticing how his face fell as you did so. “Of course I want to be with you Jayj. But I wanted this, us, to stay a secret. That’s why we kept it hidden in the first place. So people wouldn’t know.

JJ shook his head in disbelief, the true meaning of your words sinking in and cutting him down to the bone. “You don’t want people to know about us? This whole secret thing was never about sparing your douchey ex’s feelings! You didn’t want people to know you were with me! I’m right, aren’t I? You’re ashamed to be seen with me.”

You shook your head, trying to deny his suspicions. “No. JJ, of course not. I just- wasn’t ready for this to be public yet.”

You tried your best to sound convincing, but you knew you were a shit liar. And judging by the look on JJ’s face, he knew it too. He stepped back, the hurt on his face slowly turning into anger. You were ashamed to be seen with him, to be with him, and he knew it.

JJ scoffed, his piercing blue eyes practically glaring at you. “No, no I get it. You’re embarrassed about being me. That’s why you’re trying so hard to hide it. What is it, huh? Is it cause I don’t have the fancy ass mansion or the shiny new cars? Everything surrounding you is just so perfect. Wouldn’t wanna risk tarnishing that.”

Hearing his words, having everything you’ve been feeling repeated back to you, you were finally understanding how stupid it all was. You loved him. God, you loved him so much that being without him was painful. You couldn’t breathe when you weren’t with him. So what if you’re a Kook and he’s a Pouge? That shouldn’t matter. That doesn’t matter. Not anymore. Being so worried about appearances and reputations had made you blind to what was right in front of you. Your whole life you’d wonder when you’d fall in love, have a real and true connection with someone. And now you did. But you ruined it. You could only hope it wasn’t too late to fix that.

“JJ,” you said softly as you stepped towards him, your eyes watering with unshed tears.

He shook his head, walking back over to your window and pulling it open.

“Don’t. You’ve made it quite clear how you think about me. I wouldn’t wanna ruin your reputation, little miss perfect.” The harsh edge to his voice made your heart break. You had never seen him act so cold and uncaring towards you. It was painful.

“JJ, I’m sorry! Please, just let me-,” you started, rushing forward and grabbing his hand, trying to get him to stay.

“Save it,” JJ said, cutting you off. He yanked his hand away and crawled out your window. “Have a nice life,” he said, not even bothering to turn around and look at you.

You watched as he walked away, your heart breaking even more as the distance between the two of you grew. Eventually, you pulled the window shut, your reflection in the glass startling you. You were a mess, eyes red and puffy, your face dripping with a mix of tears and snot. So much for being “little miss perfect.”

“I love you,” you whispered, knowing he couldn’t hear you but needing it to be said anyways.

Trudging back over to your bed, you fell down on top of the mattress, clutching a pillow to your chest as you sobbed your heart out. You’ve experienced heartbreak before, but nothing like this. Never with someone that you truly loved. You’ve been in relationships before, but it was just attraction. Never love. Things were different with JJ. And now that you ruined it, you weren’t sure you’d ever be able to find that feeling again.

The days passed, and you could barely bring yourself to get out of bed. JJ was the only thing on your mind, your thoughts spiraling with anguish and regret. You replayed the last conversation you had with him in your mind, over and over again, trying to get a different outcome. But it never worked. Somehow, you drove him away everytime, the pain in your heart worsening each time you saw that look of utter heartbreak on his face.

You wanted to change things. Go back in time and stop yourself from being such an uptight prude. You loved him, more than you’d ever loved someone before, and you threw it all away because of something as stupid as social classes. You were so caught up in what other people thought about your relationship, you completely ignored your own feelings about it. Being with JJ was the happiest that you had ever been, and you destroyed it.

You had decided to go outside today for the first time since everything good in your life fell apart. Hopefully walking on the beach would clear your mind and help to alleviate some of the immense pain you were consumed by. It had almost started to work too, until you heard a group of people talking, and an all too familiar laugh caught your attention.

JJ.

You walked a bit faster, your heart skipping at the sight of JJ when you finally reached him. Against your better judgment, you started to walk over to them, the lively conversation dying down as you approached. JJ must’ve told the Pouges what had happened. All eyes were on you as you stopped in front of them, well all eyes except for JJ’s. Your stomach turning at the sudden build up of nerves.

“Hi,” you said, your voice soft, almost a whisper.

“Hi!” Sarah responded cheerfully, not entirely aware of what exactly had gone down between you and JJ.

You smiled gratefully at her. She went to say something else before John B. nudged her and shook his head. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion but didn’t want to question it, instead turning to you and smiling apologetically.

“What are you doing here?” Kie asked you, a venom in her voice. It was startling to hear her speak that way, she had always been so nice to you before.

“JJ, can I talk to you?” you asked, ignoring Kie’s question as you didn’t want to deal with how aggressive she was currently being towards you.

“Why? Aren’t you worried that someone’ll see? I’d hate to ruin your perfect little reputation,” JJ said, not even bothering to look at you.

“JJ please,” you said, your voice breaking as you looked at him, willing yourself not to cry.

He looked up at you despite himself when he heard how broken you sounded. And now that he was finally looking at you, he could see just how much of a mess you were. Dark circles under your eyes and a permanent frown etched onto your face. He had never seen you so miserable, and even though you had taken his heart and pretty much stomped on it, all he wanted to do was make your pain go away.

He sighed, standing up and walking over to you. “Alright, fine. We’ll talk.”

The Pogue’s all looked at each other awkwardly before Pope finally spoke up. “Did you guys see that pregnant bird over there?” He stood up, followed by Kie, John B, and Sarah as they walked away while talking about his extremely horrible excuse.

Soon, you and JJ were alone. The two of you walked over to the ocean, sitting down in the sand in front of the water in silence. You had gone over this moment in your head close to a hundred times, but now that it was hear you didn’t know what to say.

“I’m sorry,” you said, your voice shaking as tears welled up in your eyes. You didn’t want to cry. Not here, not now. But it was getting harder and harder to keep your tears inside.

JJ didn’t say anything. He didn’t know what to say. He was waiting for you to say something else, anything else. Just looking at you was hard for him, because he knew that if he did for too long her would take you back, forgiving you for everything just to see your breathtaking smile again.

“I fucked up. I was wrong, and I know that now. But I- I should’ve known it all along. It wasn’t right for me to treat you like that. You deserve better than that. You deserve better than me. And I- I’m not asking you to take me back or anything because I don’t deserve to be with you anymore, but I just wouldn’t be able to live with myself if you still hated me.”

You sniffled, wiping your tears off your face. You gave up on holding it all inside, it hurt too much to hide it.

JJ sighed, looking over at you for the first time since you both sat down. “Why did you do it? Why were you so ashamed of me?”

You felt your heart break at the pain in his voice. You just wanted to fix it, go back and stop yourself from being such a pretentious idiot. From ruining the best thing you ever had.

“I wasn’t ashamed of you, not really. I guess I was just scared of what people would say if they knew that I was with you. Cause well- I mean you saw how everyone was towards Sarah when she first started dating John B. I just didn’t want the same thing to happen to me with you. Which is so stupid, because why should I care about what anyone else thinks? I- I love you, and I don’t care who knows it,” you said, finally letting your real feelings show.

JJ’s eyes widened when you said you loved him. That was the first time you ever said that to him. You had always been too scared to say it before, even though JJ had told you that he loved you countless times. He smiled softly to himself, feeling everything he felt for you come rushing back to him like they had never left. Like nothing had ever happened between you.

“Yeah, that uh- that was pretty stupid.”

You looked over at him and saw the smile on his face, causing you to smile at him in return. Maybe this wasn’t going to go as bad as you thought it would.

“I know I was wrong, and I know I don’t deserve a second chance, but I can’t imagine my life without you, JJ. I love you. God, I love you so much that it hurts when I’m not with you. If you do ever decide to take me back, I’ll be different. I’ll be better. I’ll tell everyone that I’m with you because I would be proud to be your girlfriend. You’re everything to me, and I don’t care who knows this.”

“Fuck. You’re making it really hard to stay mad at you.”

You let out a huff of laughter, smiling over at JJ with tears in your eyes.

“Was that a yes…?” you asked, nervous that you had misread the situation.

JJ smiled at you and nodded. “Yes, that was a yes.”

You practically threw yourself at him, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him close, not ever wanting to let him go again. JJ wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you into his lap, pressing a kiss to your cheek.

“Oh, by the way, I love you too.”

As I already said, Oliver is a teddy bear: he is so lovely and soft im crying. We already saw how he is when he meets stars, so the first thing I'd think abt Oliver's form of love would be hugging. He would hug you whenever he can, no matter the situation: for example, if u are sad or not feeling good he'd hug you tight and whisper smth like "Hey, don't worry, I'm here with you okay?" or just a simple "I love you" (simple but full of love uwu). He would hug you after a long day at school/work, while you are cooking dinner for the two of you, and even while you sleep. He just wants you to know that he loves you a lot and that he is beside you.

I've had one person get mad at me for tagging something because it's "condescending" to them to do so and another thank me for it because it's how their brother died and they're used to it not being tagged and stumbling onto it. They can read it, they just need a heads-up so it doesn't smack them in the face out of the blue.

I know it'll anger a lot of people who follow your blog but honestly I'm more happy that I didn't randomly trigger memories of someone's brother's death than I am sorry I annoyed the first person by "condescending" to them. If 'accidental death via ___' in the tags offends someone to read then I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude here, but I find that way more sensitive than the person who's actually traumatized. That person actually went through shit. You (the complainer, not you specifically) read one tag. There's twelve tags total. Most of them are pairings + specifying what ending of the game the fic is set after. I do my best not to overtag but if a description of content angers someone that's just beyond my ability to warn for. What, should I put "TW: this author uses TWs for specific and graphically depicted causes of death" at the very start of the tags so people don't get offended?

I'm sure someone is going to cry, "you should just tick the box for character death, not tag a specific cause of death!" but I would like to invoke an old fandom stand-by line in response, "Don't like, don't read." If my using a tag offends someone, they should just block me and move on. Why am I in the wrong for tagging a method of death being caused?

I really think if someone finds something that small and easy to skip offended, they have a victim mentality. Even though they're on the opposite side of the spectrum of antis in terms of preferred reading material, they have the same "you have hurt me and I intend to make it your problem" mentality, and it's just embarrassing because... they're adults. Old enough to know better. This is the internet. Not everyone is going to cater their content to you, including their tagging practices, and people aren't obligated to change their tags so that your delicate feelings aren't hurt. The world is not about you.

It wouldn't annoy me so much if this person hadn't then tracked down my tumblr - which took some doing, as I don't have that info on my AO3 profile and the names are different - to whine about it.

adhd budgeting talk: the budgeting service i *don't* use

i keep seeing youtubers get sponsorships from rocketmoney and normally i tune them out, because a) i don't care, and b.) i am happy to recommend people sign up for YNAB, i use YNAB, and will continue to use it. [i am NOT sponsored. they give me no money. i DO have a referral link, but any person who uses ynab does. we both get a free month of the service if you start a trial period via my link, and then choose to purchase the service after the end of your free trial. they don't auto-charge. that's it.]

BUT. but. one youtuber, as part of her advert, started mentioning that rocketmoney has bill negotiation services and she was talking about how nice it was to have someone like, be the adult on her behalf to negotiate down bills save her money etc, how she didn't have to deal with the stress and anxiety and they do it all FOR you. they call all the companies FOR you!!! how "nice"!

unfortunately this was THE OPPOSITE of reassuring to me. in fact, this screams: RED ALERT RED FLAG PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!

let me explain why i don't trust rocketmoney since i found this out.

the VERY tl;dr is this: you're giving away all your security info and login info, giving them the right to pretend to be you to negotiate on your bills, and also they "may" charge you for this service per bill. if you want assistance with this kind of thing, please find a non-profit licensed credit counseling agency via the NFCC because as non-profits their goal is not making money off of you, it's literally to improve the community, increase financial education, and genuinely help you.

okay the full "holy shit please be more suspicious of companies whose goal is to make money," spiel":

most budgeting apps/services that are free have to make money somehow, so you need to consider how they do that. (probably selling your data, or being your literal bank, etc). they are typically for-profit companies. never forget the goal is them making money.

that's not inherently a bad thing per se, but it means they have a known motive.

if you have a budgeting app set to auto-sync with your bank info, you are granting them a limited power of attorney to view, access, and transmit your bank data. every single budget company that offers this, mentions that in their terms of service agreement.

my recommended budget service, You Need a Budget, states this in their TOS. in YNAB, it only applies if you choose to sync your bank accounts with your budget, bc you have to give them the info, obviously. You can enter everything all manually if you want to, and then they can't access anything. Personally I am comfortable with authorizing this very limited POA, so I do it, because yeah, it makes my life easier, and i need this automated to make it sustainable to do bc adhd. even on my best days, i would never keep up with all of that.

so, that said: YOU ARE GRANTING A FOR PROFIT COMPANY WAYYYY MORE POWER THAN JUST PULLING AND TRANSMITTING YOUR TRANSACTIONS DATA IF THEY'RE NEGOTIATING BILLS ON YOUR BEHALF!!!!

I think TSR played a big part in the "crybaby that wouldn't hurt a fly" perception of Silver. Silver in that game can't even comprehend other people's aggression. I think that combined with how meek and even fearful he's often drawn in IDW creates that impression of him(he cowers in fear at Blaze's flames and nervously holds her in Victory Garden and that isn't the only instance of him being frightened in that series)

About TSR, I definitely agree. Though, I looked into it more before to see if Silver would meekly let Lanolin scold him without talking back in IDW issue 63, and Silver actually does have good scenes in the English localisation! For example, he is shown at least twice to be right on Eggman's tail about what he is doing with Dodon Pa and the Ultimate Energy Engine, and even talks to Eggman once without immediately letting himself be shot down when Eggman insults him.

....But then the localisation put in that fucking Trash Talk Scene and UGH. I looked at the Japanese version, and especially Sonic is just so much more easier to bear there. The thing is, the essence of what the localisation seemed to want to convey in their conversation is absolutely there. Sonic is a bit teasing and competitive, Silver is somewhat awkward and cannot really convey what is bothering him. But Japanese!Sonic, you know, tells Silver multiple times to not worry. That they're friends who haven't seen each other in a while and that he thus would like to race with Silver because he enjoys it. He does joke a bit with Silver's worries, but when Silver expresses frustration he backtracks and goes right back to encouragement once more. None of that dumb "I'm gonna badly beat youuuuu" "I'm gonna make you look sillyyyyyy get your head in the gameeeee" "I'm gonna feed my car to youuuuu", and so on. That's not expressing happiness at being able to race with a friend who hasn't been around in a while, that's just being a smug jerk waving your self-confidence into someone's face who clearly is not interested. And then you continue ragging him on while he tries to talk about his worries, which you keep shooting down in favour of your bragging. Bah. One of English-TSR!Sonic's worst moments, imo. Not helped by Silver's altogether awful responses, like "I'm not hungry, but thanks", and not to mention the "I'm so gonna own you!" "Okay." from the racing start. Like Silv, bruh, you're constantly sneering at and mocking other racers on the track in multiple games, show some bite??? And, as seems to be happening with most of Silver's mischaracterisation by fandom, this one event gets cherrypicked to show that he's just Complete UwU Baby Who Cannot Trash Talk So Cute So Cinnamon Roll If You Look At Him Funny He'll Drown In His Own Tears.

....Yeah. Sigh. Even worse because he's got multiple good moments otherwise.

Anyway, onwards to my other current Silver-related dislike in the Sonic franchise, namely IDW! Because he can indeed be drawn strangely there, and definitely cowering like you said in your ask. Though, a Silver with huge starry eyes and shit when things go right for the heroes for a change is HELLA ooc as well. Give Tangle her stripes and tail back please :/

In my mind, Tangle was similarly starry-eyed in issue 9 as Silver in issue 26, but Silver is WORSE there. In what world is Silver more of a Manic Pixie Dream Genki Girl than Tangle???

And the annoying thing is that also in IDW he's got, in my opinion, great moments! The battle with Zomom in #28 is a no-nonsense, well-coordinated fight between Silver and Whisper wherein Silver can convey what he believes in when he gets jeered at, while showing off some slick psychic moves. In issue 30, Silver gets tons of moments to shine: he's a massive help in Sonic's attempt to reach the final Emerald with Metal Sonic on multiple fronts (carrying the Emeralds, using his powers to block the blows from that gigantic Zavok while not dropping them, getting to Sonic at the very last second so he can turn Super in time, etc.). And even if the Super battle against the gigantic Zavok goes by in mere seconds (which the comic lampshades itself), the scene wherein Sonic and Silver remove the Metal Virus from the world with Silver's PK is one I quite like as well. It shows further good coordination between Sonic and Silver, nobody is being a smug jerk, they know what they should do to save the world and do it smoothly. So also in IDW there are definitely moments to be found where Silver is just his IC self, where I would even go so far as to say that for a good 80% or so in issue 63 he is too.

...But, of course, people only look at the moments wherein he's Being Baby to support the fact that He Is Baby, so there's not a lot of people paying attention to those issues in favour of others that have him far more flanderised and dumb. For example, I quite like Victory Garden because I like the idea Silver would start a garden and seeing Blaze and Silver interact, but it doesn't give much respect for his powers (he can't even carry a bunch of equipment at once, or not slap himself right in the face with it?), throws in an obligatory It's No Use reference because Evan wrote this*, and adds some silly faces and poses here and there on him as well. And there you have it: uwu baby Silver! Not to mention the absolutely awful way Sonic treated him in issue 8, where I'd say the TSR conversation was actually bearable compared to that. Plus the fact Silver is just regularly drawn all throughout the comic as wide-eyed cute boyo in all sorts of goofy kid poses, to the point where Evan actually toned down some of her sketches for #8. (I believe there is a second example when he and Sonic first see Whisper, but Tumblr's search function is shit as always.) So yeah, both the art of IDW and the way Silver is written there tends to be on the meh side in my opinion and furthermore makes him a nice punching bag for everyone else, sigh, and those are the exact moments other fans seem to focus on for their idea of what Silver acts like in favour of actual more IC moments.

I do not know enough about what appears to be one of the root causes of this mischaracterisation of Silver: namely Archie, the stories of the various issues Silver was in, and the fandom's general mindset at the time. But I know enough to realise that Silver was just written plain awfully there, and it bothers me that Silver The Punching Bag (both by comic characters and writers alike, really) from that comic just seems to have gotten carried right over into IDW next. And now we indeed have fans see Silver as a massive cry-baby with half a braincell who won't be able to walk two steps without perishing from something, which is fine if that is how you want to portray him for your fanwork! But it is not what an IC Silver is like, yet especially the comics portray him like that too. I will readily say that Silver seems tough to get down because he's gotten a very 'dual' personality between rude determinist and friendly world-admirer, but the fandom, comic writers, and localisers alike focus far too heavily on that latter part and twist him into someone he simply is not. And since I like seeing both parts of that personality come into play and I do not like Silver being drawn like Tangle (wide-eyed, goofy, Silly Poses Of Enthusiasm) while displaying an altogether awfully unfitting personality (dumb, overly innocent with a complete lack of rudeness or smugness, constantly being set up to be mocked by other characters), I do not like how this characterisation is what has become so pervasive in the fandom's mindset, either.

clone high final episode spoilers below! (9 n 10)

holy fuck im so happy. even though im super annoyed how they keep throwing a bunch of really good ideas for relationships and plot in the trash- im just so happy with what we got.

OK FIRST EPISODE 9??? THE ANIMATION WAS SO FUCKING GOOD AND I HAD TO PAUSE BECAUSE WHEN WESLEY WAS FLAILING IN THE SEA, IT WAS DAMN smooth and pleasant to watch, as morbid as it sounds lol. that whole scene with the comic-esque vibe was so so pleasing.

and that whole episode was super like, sad but funny. i literally stood up and yelled when Mr. B was getting near the edge. like i probably woke up every single one of my neighbors in like.. a 50 mile radius it was that bad im so fucking annoying about this show.

BUT THEN SCUDS SAVED HIM AND I WAS SO HAPPY, LIKE THEYRE LITERALLY AN OLD COUPLE, AND LITERALLY THEY’RE FATHERS TO THEIR CLONE KIDS AND THEYRE ALL SUCH A BIG HAPPY FAMILY AND AUGHHHH im gonna draw family stuff with them so bad. I WISH THESE EPISODES CAME OUT BEFORE FATHERS DAY IT WOULD’VE BEEN PERFECT.

ok, episode 10 i have to take a deep breath with. i am VERY happy. and idk if it was because the bar was so low, or if it was because i was so anxious i was vomiting everywhere because i needed content so bad, but i am overjoyed.

Also, ABE AND JFKS FREINDSHIP HOLUYDBIUJEWNFJKNF oh my god not to be autistic but i was stimming so fucking hard WHEN THEY HUGGED, I WAS LIKE YES FINALLY. FINALLLLLYYY!!! theyre my sweet boys and THAT WHOLE FRIEND GROUP HAS ME IN TEARS. LIKE abe and Confucius are already bros, as we see them playing in the school yard, and JFK and Confucius are already bros from the sleepover episode, but NOW JFK AND ABE ARE BROS. FUCK. YEAH. oh and tophers there too. i like how they treat topher tbh. like hes just there until he says something out of pocket and they’re just like stfu.

but with the girls friend group.. oof. i honestly loved them so much, especially with cleo, but NOW ITS FUCKED. and its not even joans fault tbh. like when i was watching the scene where frida dropped joan i was like “damn” but then, JOAN MENTIONS HOW SHE HELPED EVERYONE BEFORE AND I WAS LIKE “DAYYYYYYUUMMMM UR RIGHT” so now im conflicted. But again like??? bruh i would choose cleo too tbh lmao.

Also, i’m glad clone college isn’t real. because jfk mentions about taking shelly to .. biology? which i think is a only 1st year class. and in the original clone high everyone is like “omg u hit puberty over summer” Which i feel is typically something thats potrayed in media AFTER middle school. but i could be wrong so, idk. just really glad they didn’t do the clone college bc i hate change. also theyre 16 lmao. OR MAYBE THEY WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT... in the future when highschools done?? IDK. IDC.

anyway. im scared for joans friend group and i fucking love joan, and i am in love with abe, toph, jfk, and Confucius’s little bromances and augh. im so happy. and THE CLIFF HANGER WASN’T TERRIBLE ALSO, IN MY OPNINON.

im just glad joanabe wasn’t endgame. i mean, i would be pretty happy because im a sucker for childhood friends to lovers but also NOOOOOO joan deserves better. so. yeah 10/10

i just finished TDPI here are some thoughts:

also let me preface this by saying i was spoiled on quite a few significant stuff - the island is fake, scarlett turns evil, max & scarlett double elimination, amy & sammy double elimination, beardo & leonard first boots, shawn & sky finalists, dave is weird, jasmine & shawn canon couple - so if i don't give any significant opinions on those, that's why

i don't get why everyone hates this season. it's just any other season but, like, shorter? oh no they cut the intro- who cares??

and if you're gonna critique it for fast-paced writing, hi, are you new here? this is the total drama fandom, where we discuss the total drama show.

max was one of the best characters and i CANNOT stop drawing him he is SOOO fun to draw oh my..

on that note, my favorites were, in no particular order: shawn, jasmine, max, ella and topher <3

amy and sammy were the most annoying characters ever, their fighting was entertaining but tiring and repetitive. i liked the brief period in which jasmine and sammy were friends but sammy was kind of annoying after amy's elimination

scarlett was bearable until her villain arc and would've been an amazing villain if the season was a bit longer

on that note, DAVE AND RODNEY, SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR ONCE CHALLENGE??? rodney reminds me sm of this one boy who wanted to kiss me after we'd known each other for like, two months and he knew nothing about me and still was like "ever since the day i met you i knew you were different" bruh. also dave shut the fuck up and accept rejection challenge level impossible

definitely one of the best seasons for chris. i loved the rhyming at the start and end of every episode, his shenanigans haven't gotten old ever. "like, oh my god, whaaat?" in the last episode had me dying. why is he like this. also he and chef are a married couple as usual

"I'LL BRING MY FACE!" and that's when i knew i loved him.

MY TRIP TO FIRENZE AND UFFIZI

(a post no one will care about)

sooooo yesterday I went to Firenze to visit my dear (online) friend Morgan

I was super excited about this trip bc it was the first time I travelled alone

I took the train and luckily everything went good (trains are always late in italy)

when I arrived it was raining and it rained for the whole morning so it was really annoying

we started visiting Santa Maria Novella bc is literally next to the train station, then we went to the duomo. we didn't enter neither churches bc we hadn't enough time

then we saw the Spedale degli Innocenti, it was meh, I thought it was more majestic :(

after that we returned back and we went to piazza della Signoria. its really close to the Uffizi and contains a lot of famous sculpures. I was super happy bc I've finally seen Cellini's Perseo irl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

and then UFFIZI!!!

we struggled A LOT for understand where we should wait since we bought tikets online but in the end we entered quite fast

I can say that the inside looks like the name of the rose's labyrinth but once you understand how it works is easy (spoiler we got lost at some point)

honestly I can riassume it in:

the funny thing is that most of the madonne col bambino are freaking ugly!!!!

we spent around 3 and half hours at the Uffizi (also bc it was raining) and we loved it

I also bought a comic book about Cellini at the shop

when we went out (it was like 3 pm) it wasn't raining anymore and we finally sit. we sit under the piazza della Signoria's portico literally in front of Perseo

I started eatind my piadina (I prepared it at home) but a guard stopped me bc people can't eat under the portico. bruh. so I continued eating it while we were walking (Morgan didn't have the lunch)

we decided to go to Ponte Vecchio and we passed near to Uffizi again AND LOOK WHO WE MET WE DIDN'T NOTICE BEFORE

I WAS SO FREAKING HAPPY YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!

after we saw Ponte Vecchio we returned to the train station bc it was time to come back home

I really enjoyed the day bc I saw a lot of beautiful things and I met again my long distance bestie❤️

I think we talked about this over on ao3 but honestly re2r's ada just doesn't make sense to me. The FBI cover is logical (when you first think about it), but the way she's immediately pulling a gun on Annette the minute they see her and DECLARING her intentions isn't. She then proceeds to reveal her target is Annette, and then her going with the FBI thing becomes less logical, bc why would Annette hand over the G-Virus sample to the feds, either? It's entirely a shock factor thing revolved around Leon, she's only fooling him -- or maybe, she's fooled Ben like this, too, and was forced to stick to her cover when shit went down, we don't know 😭 why did they do my girl ada like that... (ngl re4r ada supremacy. period.)

But either way, un-truths she would throw as a bone to a "civilian" like Leon would of course be caught by Vera, nugget by nugget, while still making her think "mayhaps the FBI is misinformed????" -- I didn't want to ruin that fine line by Ada going on about Annette making the virus and her being the most dangerous of all "g-virus g-virus g-virus" or whatever because 1) WHY WOULD A SPY DO THAT???? 2) it would surely make Vera go "yeah NOPE" 💀💀

it's so much fun for them to try sussing each other out, Light and L mind games over there while Leon is happily frolicking. not one thought behind those eyes 😭

ALSO totally not going "actually 🤓☝" as I'm saying this because it's been HALF A WHOLE YEAR + the fic is over 100K words -- Vera knows Jill from post!mansion incident - pre!outbreak, in that ephemeral "investigation" phase of Jill's. I do mention it in the fic that Vera supplies information to Jill (as around that time she's trying to get rid of the weight of all she knows and trying to pass on the "hero's job" to someone else) and they exchange their findings while trying to be careful not to get caught by ppl Umbrella put on Jill's tail. I think I wrote it in passing that Vera was disguised as a secretary and sat back-to-back with Jill on a booth in one of those occasions? She's loosely connected to re3r by having a brief appearance in carlos' police station section in my head, entrusting Jill to him and all and promising to meet up with them in the station once she talks to her dad about it ☹
