Roxas shot up in bed, heart beating a mile a minute. His chest heaved as he panted and he felt sweat drip off his brow. Roxas turned back to the glass of the window and he could see his reflection. It was him, of course. Same face, same eyes, same hair. But in his heart, he knew it was wrong. This wasn’t him.

I know that's inherently a romantic song (and a meme song.... sorry skdkldfjgdfg ) but I see this song as Thin Man & Mono

Mono always rushes in to save them, never abandoning people because of his loneliness. Mono chasing after other people.

"Can't believe in all this time I'm hurting for you But you feel like hom, home Love gives, it lifts so high I'm dying for it I'm dying for it And I can't let you go" Now this is where the Thin Man comes in, hurting for "love", hurting still from the betrayals of past friends. His loneliness is crippling. The Thin Man chasing after Mono, to stop him from chasing other people.

Thin Man rushing after Mono, Mono unable to escape or hide from him. Because he is him. He is part of him.

Mono and the rest of the city are hypnotized, under the spell of the Thin Man and his tower. Aching and fading. Again, Mono is a part of him, a part he wants to reunite with or keep locked away. This song also technically applies to Seven at some point in my Channel Change comic, but I can't reveal it cuz of spoilers

How are things going with the little nightmares channel change comic? Are you almost done with the continuation or are you just busy with your other projects? P.s. I really love how much you've done with rk/seven, him getting his happy ending with mono and getting the partner/friend he deserved got me emotional. (Seven is my favorite little nightmares character).

I'm super busy with IRL, other projects, AND LN channel change comic. I'm at least glad you're still excited for it! Seven and Mono are my favorites too hehehehe <3 Good news, I have started to line it. Bad news... the finale is gonna have to be split into... what I believe to be... 3 parts. Maybe even 4. Neutral news... part 1 is being lined now!

Saoirse, Eva, & Kristoff Redesign

Saoirse the seal, and Eva & Kristoff the porcupines Eva and Kristoff are siblings who work for their family’s fishing company. Sometimes they go out onto the lake to fish on their father’s boat. One day they encounter an ocean seal in the lake. She acts like she knows where she is, but she is completely and totally lost! Eva and Kristoff try to figure out how they can possibly get her back into the ocean. She’s a little pompous, constantly trying to convince them she’s a princess, but despite that, they quickly become friends and they teach her about their area and their line of work. Eva and Kristoff like her, but they secretly think she’s a little crazy. Little did they know she actually is of nobility! She comes from a rich family. If Eva and Kristoff ever successfully manage to get Saoirse home, mountains of wealth will appear unbeknownst to them in their future. A silly happenstance friendship between a spoiled vulnerable duke daughter and a humble semi poor mannered family-oriented sibling duo. Makes for entertainment

However, the two are rivals and create different packs, both trying to become new rulers in their “master’s” absence. Their fights can end quite gruesomely.

Haganthia + Dealg Beinn Redesign

Haganthia the mountain sheep (trans) is a kind, but demented and devoted cult leader. She and her cult worship the great, fearsome mountain god; the Braid Dew of the Flame Meadow, Dealg (Da-lug) Beinn. A piercing skull-faced Kaiju who demands worship, sacrifices, food, and riches. Despite his immortal mind and desire for all things evil, he is rather fond of his most devoted follower. Braid Dew of the Flame Meadow is artistic terminology the locals use for the "(God that binds) through the river waters that run through the meadows. Meadows that had previously suffered eons of drought and devastating fires."

Silverstone, NapeLeaf, Scarmer & Jayde Redesign

(Longer backstories below)

Silverstone the echidna is from an ancient tribe of echidna. Their bodies were built thicker, and the women were just as strong as the men. They were miners who dug out rock and tinkered with metals and gemstones. They decorated themselves with tattoos and markings. Their tails were like a dinosaur's, a wrecking ball end to fight off enemies or to smash rocks. The nature of this tribe is the weak are left behind. Silverstone retained a burn injury to her eye during a coal pit battle. In her tribe, it is scene as a brilliant battle scar. The mothers in the tribe strap children to their backs while they work in the caves. If the child doesn’t survive, then it is considered ill fit for the tribe. Silverstone is strong and considered worthy of a husband, but she doesn’t want one. While she takes pride in her strength, her tribe’s resilience, and her tribe's pursuit of evolving technology, her tribe is emotionally stunted, and unions aren’t romantic. It’s common for husbands to leave for stronger wives, it is normal. Silverstone is tired of being strong all the time and longs to be a little soft and sweet without being shunned. Nape Leaf is from a different tribe deep in the forest. They believe in mother-earth ideals. They worship nature, cover themselves in leaves, and scarcely eat meat. Leaf loves her tribe's belief in magic, in nature. She loves to sew, sing, heal, dance, cook. But that’s all she’s ever allowed to do. She is often treated like a child and is yelled at whenever she tries to do something reserved for the guys. The women in her tribe serve the men, only they are allowed to hunt, while the women stay in the camps cleaning and child-rearing. She doesn’t want to be married off to an echidna the elders will pick for her, probably several years older than her too. Devastated at her engagement, she flees her tribe. That’s where she meets Silverstone, an echidna her tribe is at war with.

Anyway, Juliet(Romeo) and Juliet flee their tribes and elope somewhere in distant woods where they can be soft or strong or whatever they want to be. They teach each other their tribe's traditions. When the echidnas are wiped from the face of the earth due to war or chaos extinction tragedy, they survive without even knowing the fate of their species. Even if they did, it wouldn’t change a thing. They wouldn’t search elsewhere to continue their bloodlines, they wouldn’t go out of their way to preserve their tribe's traditions. Historians in the future find their mixed cultural traditions and lose their minds. They’re often referred to as the “forbidden lovers of the east wood.” Their bodies were found in the same grave, and scientists years into the future may use their DNA to genetically clone them to revive the species! Their love may live yet again- across time!

Scarmer and Jayde the bat. Despite their wings, they actually love to hike and rock climb. They travel and camp around a lot of places. Open relationship. They stay connected to people through social media, sharing places they go to, and things they’ve seen. Nice, cool couple

Sisel the ferret; a cool tomboy. Rex the weasel; wild stuntman goofball. and Ara the Scottish cat; nervous voice of reason- youngest yet the most mature. They’re all cousins that grew up together. Now they’re young spunky teenagers that like to get into trouble. You’ll see them spray-painting abandoned buildings downtown or doing tricks at the skatepark. They all have multi-colored sunglasses and like to hang out after dark heck yeah

Skadi is the mayor of a very small, freezing town up on a mountain peak. Holly and Berry are her assistants. There are ski lodges and resorts to manage. Roads to plow snow off of, rare animal species to monitor and protect, and SOS search and rescues to commence. Their service is A+, and their welcoming presence warms your heart. You’re definitely coming back to their neck of the woods.

The Post Office Redesign

~~~ These peeps keep a post office functioning Grizzly is the tough-love boss who seems intimidating and mean, and sometimes he is, but he still cares and protects his staff Bobby the bee is the oldest outside of Grizzly; he’s also been working there the longest. He’s got a crush on Lills but he knows she doesn’t like him back. He’s insecure about his size and is deeply jealous of Jake. He tries to not let that ruin his work ethic. Anna the butterfly is the youngest. She’s the rookie newbie who dresses cute and is great at customer service but she constantly makes mistakes and is very clumsy. Bobby gets annoyed with her the most. Nicky the Koala is the second oldest. She is a wise older sister figure to the team. She’s also very strong, she does a lot of heavy lifting. Lill "Lills" has a service chao Molly who emotionally supports and assists her at work. She’s cheerful and efficient but can get easily overwhelmed. Jake is the fastest of the bunch. His shoes are secretly not work-safe- they have hidden wheels at the bottom. He and Lills have a crush on each other, and they’re very close, but Grizz has a strict no-dating coworkers rule, so keeping their romance secret amongst the other staff members proves for silly drama with a side of unemployment doom!

Mesgaia & Darkart Redesign

Still not entirely sure about Darkart's name. Unsure if it should be Nether or Darkheart, I will think about it. 

These two used to be random characters, a magician and a jester. After Eclipse the Darkling’s debut, I decided they are from an AU where the Black Arms decided to create more non-hive mind mobian-inspired creatures to rebuild their army. Mesgaia is a dark mage who specializes in portals and Darkart is a jester, built for entertainment but is quite the joker card on the battlefield when needed
