warning; 🎬a goodbye smut🎬 2.3k words. masterlist.

studying abroad is usually something one thinks about, plans out, then decide... but not you. no. for you, it was a random thing you blurted out one night in front of sunghoon and now you’re actually packing for a flight tomorrow morning.

mr park and your mum were also surprised at the sudden decision but the most surprised of them all was park sunghoon. the man had been mia for an entire week, not once returning to the penthouse since that night at the charity event.

you could’ve guessed yourself that he would do so, to ghost you entirely.

but it was the right thing to do, you believed so. sunghoon could find someone he loves and succeed as the ceo of park corp while you could live your own life out of the public’s eye. perhaps you could also find someone and have a happy ever after of your own.

not together but sometimes it was better that way.

the sound of the front door has you immediately standing up from the couch, completely startled. especially when the owner walks in as if he hadn’t just disappeared for a whole week. what a dramatic entrance, to appear on the night before you leave.

“sunghoon.”

the man looks tired, uneasy, his entire appearance the most unkempt you’ve ever seen.

his gaze doesn’t once leave you as he makes his way over, his hands immediately cupping your cheeks to make you look at him. there’s something different in the way he looks at you tonight, longingly, like there’s so much he wants to say but can’t.

it’s the same look you’ve always given him.

“where have you been?”

“i’m sorry.”

“i called you so many times sunghoon.”

“i’m sorry.”

“do you even know how worried i was-”

his lips on yours cuts you off entirely, cutting off whatever the hell you were complaining about. the move is surprising but the way he’s holding you and with how softly he’s kissing you, you eventually ease in... kissing him right back.

it always feels the same when you kiss park sunghoon. like there’s an explosion inside your chest, your head immediately on cloud nine. like it’s the very first time. over and over.

his lips move from yours to the side of your neck, leaving behind a trail of hot kisses that had you squirming, a million different emotions rushing through your body at once.

you’ve missed him and it shows.

he lifts you in a quick motion, taking you upstairs to his bedroom and you let him. the man lays your body down amongst the softness of his sheets, eyes glued onto your body that is impatiently waiting to be touched, to be filled. by him.

your squeal fills the room when sunghoon’s fingers grazes your thigh, the feeling so cold and unexpected.

“it’s just me,” a smile finally appears on his face for the first time tonight, sunghoon seemingly much more at ease now, “you don’t trust me?”

“of course i trust you.”

and you really did, more than anyone else in your life.

never would you or anyone else have guessed that this was how you and sunghoon’s relationship would turn out. especially with how things started, with so much hate, who knew you’d end up being in this deep with the man.

it still feels unreal. every time he kisses you, every time his hands are on you, every time you are together. it’s like something right out of a novel, something you don’t ever want to end.

but everything good must come to an end. even this.

“better be me you’re thinking about right now.”

his words makes you giggle, an instant deja vu.

“it always is, unfortunately,” you reach out for him as you say so, fingers immediately tangling with his button up to pull him down by. your bold move startles him but the smirk that appears tells you that he’s pleased, that he likes it.

he wastes no time in kissing you, while his hands are busy at the waistband of your panties, disregarding the poor thing in record time. a part of you is embarrassed by the bareness but the other part of you is thanking the heavens that you chose to wear a dress tonight for the easier access.

oh how park sunghoon has corrupted you...

you probe on your arms to watch him kiss down your body, gradually making his way to where you needed him most. the man isn’t shy, unlike you, making that very clear with the way he peeks up to you with the most devious smirk you’ve ever seen.

“sunghoon...”

“say it again,” his voice is so soft but still demanding as ever as he kisses your inner thigh. to taunt you.

you don’t even know how many times you blabber his name because all you’re seeing is stars at the moment, your mind clouded by how fucking sensational his lips felt on your thighs.

and that’s just your thighs.

he knows what he’s doing, teasing you and god, was he good at it. like how good he was at making your head spin with the littlest things.

you become a little concerned when there’s no movement, sunghoon now just there between your legs. his cheek is pressed against your inner thigh, eyes glued onto your core that you know... is already leaking for the man.

“wh- what are you doing?” you mutter and attempt to close your legs, “stop staring...”

“don’t,” he holds your thighs apart, his tone threatening now, “i want to take my time.”

before you could say anything else, sunghoon finally presses his lips onto your core. your head is thrown back at the move, a shiver shooting through your body that’s currently put on overdrive at such a foreign sensation.

he eats you with all that hes got, he eats you like he’s starving. his fingers are gripping so harshly at your thighs that the skin is red, bruises mostly likely to appear by tomorrow morning but if a little pain meant you’d feel this good then you don’t mind it one bit.

you want to cry, to scream out, to beg for more, knowing sunghoon was holding back just to see you break for him. he always does, loving the way you’d so easily melt in his hands.

the sounds you make seem to only encourage him more, urging him to push one finger inside of you. just one finger but enough to have you on the verge of tears, fingers already clawing at the sheets around you. his god like tongue also begins to eagerly lap at your folds, just like his fingers that are pumping in and out of you like it was their sole purpose.

everything is proven too much for you when that familiar feeling brews in the pit of your core, literally screaming to be released.

“don’t. hold it.”

“but-”

“hold it.”

with eyes shut tight and hands now in his hair, you hold on, holding back every urge to just become undone.

you almost cry out when sunghoon suddenly leans away, his warm lips and fingers no longer in you. but he doesn’t let you complain, immediately moving himself to hover over, his button up now with your panties on the floor somewhere. his face is directly in front of yours again, looking down at you like a lion to its prey. ready to pounce.

“you are perfect,” he says underneath his breath, the man wasting no time in positioning himself in between your legs, “perfect.”

he takes your startled state as the chance to lean in, capturing your lips with his. he kisses you sweetly this time, soft and slow like he wants to taste every part of you.

like he wants to take his time with you.

he begins pushing forward, his hot tip entering you when he senses that you’re distracted. no matter how wet and prepared you were, it’s always the same. you’re just not ready for him.

you could feel yourself stretching, your walls already clenching around him, wanting to feel more and more. to feel everything.

it’s so hot, he’s so hot. every part of you is literally on fire as he fills you right to the brim, almost splitting you in two in an instant. you could tell he was holding back from moving, the veins in his arms and the darkness in his gaze the very proof of that.

“oh my g- sunghoon-”

“you’re so tight fuck-” he rests his forehead into the crook of your neck, lips attaching themselves onto your sensitivity, “i’m going to lose it.”

“f- fuck me please.”

the man doesn’t need to be asked twice, his hips snapping forward before you even finish your words. his pace is anything but slow, his thrusts quickening more with every one of your whimpers, as if a source of motivation.

so you keep whimpering.

“i don’t know how many times i say this,” he slows down for a second, eyes on yours, as if wanting you to pay attention to him, “but baby, you were made for me.”

he picks up from where he left off, his length pounding into you at such an unimaginable speed that your eyes roll to the back of your head. words are no longer a thing, replaced by moans and cries that you used to be so afraid of him hearing.

your whines, his groans and his body slamming against yours are the only sounds resonating in the dark room, everything so loud and sinful that you’re glad he owns the damn penthouse and not a place with neighbours.

with your current fucked out state, it was hard enough to stay sane let alone comprehend anything sunghoon says. until a specific phrase fills the air in the midst of all the moans. three words, three words that meant so much to you. to anyone for all that matters. his voice is so quiet as he spoke, almost like a whisper, making you question whether you were hallucinating it or not.

it’s followed by a soft “i’m sorry”. the sudden heaviness of his tone further confuses you, a tone full of emotion, like there’s so much more behind those words than there seems to be.

the eye contact, the sincerity of his voice, the way he’s holding you. something seemed off with him the moment he walked through the door and it was only clearer now. something was wrong with park sunghoon tonight but you just couldn’t figure it out. it has always been hard to decipher anything behind those dull eyes of his, almost impossible. even in this moment.

but you’re not given the time to ponder, the man moving his hips against yours faster than ever, thrusting at an angle that he knows will bring your end sooner. leaning in, sunghoon holds you close to him, lips plastered on yours as he fucks you til the very end, letting you both finish on a high at the same time.

his name is the only thing on your lips now, eyes shut tightly at the rush you’ve been so desperately yearning for. with your breathing eventually easing, both you and sunghoon get into a much more comfortable position on the bed, in each other’s arms.

you feel yourself quickly falling asleep, his arms around your body providing a type of warmth only he could ever. it a comfortable one, one that makes you feel so loved and so completely safe. like home.

there are things you want to tell him and things he obviously wants to tell you, but you’re okay with this. okay with being able to spend the last few hours together, just enjoying each other’s company. in peace.

and like you expected, the space beside you was cold and empty when you woke, any evidence of the man actually being there long gone. you knew it was coming but it’d be a lie if it didn’t upset you. especially with this possibly being the last time you’ll ever see sunghoon.

or spend time with him like you did just last night. so bittersweet.

because now you’re stepping into the plane that was about to take you thousands of miles away from him, to start a new life. to start your own life.

sitting down into your seat reminded you of that time sunghoon flew you out to hong kong. months ago but you remember that day like it was yesterday, of how much he hated you yet still took care of you. the way he made you hold onto him tightly and that to you, was the first time you truly felt safe with him.

but that’s all a distant memory now, like everything else leading up to this moment. although not all good memories, you’ll keep every single moment away in your heart where they’ll stay forever.

“hi.”

the familiar voice immediately has your head whipping around, almost hurting your neck in the process. your mouth hangs wide at the sight of the tall man, unsure whether you were hallucinating or actually seeing him standing there.

“b- beomgyu?”

“hi flight neighbour,” he sits down beside you and looks over as if he didn’t just appear out of no where but what he says next was definitely not what you were expecting. not in a million years.

“or should i say, future classmate?”

🦋 some short headcanons on what it's like in a relationship with my six favourites :)

🦋Chloe Price:

🤍Wacky, trashy dates that don't cost a ton of money, she definitely cannot afford to go to super expensive places so the junkyard, train tracks and just simply walking about late at night is the best you're gonna get.

🤍On one date, she bought/possibly stole this tacky little lighthouse figure for you so you could put it nearby and when you see it, you'll automatically think of her.

🤍She was SO nervous asking you out even if you guys were super close, like shaking and fidgeting with her hands type of nervous.

🤍Offers to paint your nails sometimes but she literally only owns black nail polish, so you'll have to make do.

🤍She totally believes she's a badass 100%, I'd be lying if I said she hasn't climbed through your window at least once.

🤍Jealous? She's in the middle, she trusts you but is also scared some dickhead is gonna get the wrong idea.

🍂Kate Marsh:

🤍She seems like she'd enjoy those cute little picnic dates or movie nights, as long as it's not a horror movie. Kate can't cope when she's watching ANYTHING horror-wise, she's holding onto your arm the whole time.

🤍She'll buy you a small gift here and there but she also likes sketching you or painting your favourite place to go together, she's pretty artistic.

🤍If you couldn't tell already, she ADORES you, she could literally spend hours just looking at you.

🤍When she finally confesses to you, she cries happy tears and stares at you in pure disbelief as if she's just waiting for you to tell her it's a prank or somethin'.

🤍Kate trusts you entirely and knows you won't just leave her, not after all the things you guys have gone through together.

🤍You have to be on pretty good terms with Chloe, she's literally Max's best friend. As long as you aren't a major asshole, you'll be fine.

🤍She takes photos of you, so many photos. Photos at the beach, photos at the diner, photos of you half asleep, photos of you in a banana costume that one halloween, photos of you brushing your teeth.

🤍It's like dating your best friend, even if you guys weren't that close when you first met, you are now motherfucker!

🤍Max can't cook, at all. Do not expect anything other than burnt grilled cheese or off-brand cereal if you were to ever get anything breakfast-wise.

🤍If you can cook then, oh boy! She will definitely refer to you as her beloved private chef with a huge grin on her face.

🤍Max thinks being jealous is for cheesy middle schoolers, she doesn't really care.

🎭Rachel Amber:

🤍Oh my god, she fucking loves you. In her eyes, you're literally an angel with wings that she scored with pure luck, she 100% hangs out with you nearly all time and is a little paranoid that something could happen to you out of the blue.

🤍Expensive gifts, you're literally collecting them from her at this point. On your birthday, she read out a poem she wrote herself with dramatics and all.

🤍She has to be really close with you to fall genuinely head over heels so, well done!

🤍Unlike Max, Rachel can actually cook like she could serve up a whole 5 star, three course meal with rarely any effort.

🤍She has a box under her bed which is just full of photos and sketches of the both of you.

🤍It's in Rachel's blood to be..a little jealous, she'd be broken if you were to just lose interest in her completely.

🎬Victoria Chase:

🤍Shocker but you HAVE to get along with Nathan, or somehow tolerate him but I can understand how that could be hard.

🤍Victoria is so damn wealthy and is nearly always buying you cute little necklaces or expensive ass things to put in your room, she loves going on dates with you but she'll freak out if anyone sees you together in public and you aren't nearly as popular as her.

🤍She also takes photos of you a lot, she has a weird nerdy side that only you and Nathan really know about.

🤍If she's open about your relationship, she definitely posts those cheesy middle-school posts about you and refers to you as `her light, her inspiration and the moon to her sun` she 100% sees herself as the sun because she's bright and fun and you're just you.

🤍Victoria gets jealous SO easily. She has to bite her tongue to stop her from saying something she shouldn't sometimes, she'll just look at you with an annoyed ass look on her face if you're doing something she doesn't like.

🎮 Warren Graham:

🤍Ever stayed up till 4:30AM playing shitty ass multiplayer games with snacks in your lap like you need junk food to survive? Well, now you'll be doing that all the time with him! He seriously won't give up and he's the first person to let you know when the new game you guys have been wanting to buy is on sale.

🤍He's a dork but he's a dork that helps you with studying when you need it, he's already outside your door before you can even pick up your phone to text him.

🤍You know those zodiac tiktoks kids make? Yeah, he'll have a fucking fit if they're not accurate and he seriously believes those but will pretend he doesn't.

🤍He'll maybe buy you a cheap ass video game here and there but other than that he'll probably just write you a little love letter and slide it under your door which is SO fucking cute.

🤍Warren can get jealous sometimes and I feel like he'd be kind of insecure about if he's a good boyfriend or not.

🧨Nathan Prescott:

🤍If I'm being honest, it isn't the healthiest relationship exactly and he freaks the fuck out if you stop replying to his texts suddenly because he needs your attention constantly.

🤍He's terrified that you'll get fed up of his shitty behaviour and bail, so he's constantly trying to make it up to you. He'll buy you a new camera, expensive equipment or just blow up your phone if that doesn't work.

🤍He'd be open about your relationship depending on your popularity and if you're a guy or not, he's still probably going through some denial but he still loves you the same even if he's a complete asshole.

🤍Nathan suffers from really bad nightmares and without warning you'll just wake up to him shuffling around your room in the middle of the night and then ask if he can stay over but pretend he didn't the next day, even though it keeps happening nearly every night.

🤍So jealous, like really jealous, he wants you to only have eyes for him and is a sucker for your attention only.

backstory:

tw: drinking, alcoholism, addiction

it was a cookie-cutter, white-picket fence life for middle-class mason towndsend, growing up in a close-knit community in connecticut, close enough to nyc that he felt connected to the world. he wasn't left to want for much, though due to being the middle sibling, mason was most frequently left to his own devices && sources of entertainment.

this entailed a lot ruckus, and he was an athletic, happy-going child with a flare for the dramatics. he was well-liked, and extremely popular throughout highschool, and preferred to be surrounded by people. it was evident, very quickly, he was girl crazy, and had a handful of girlfriends throughout his high school years.

after graduating (barely making it to the ceremony, having been out partying the night before and barely passing with a low grade average), mason jetted off to california, and started sleeping on couches && scamming cash when he could to pursue a dream of acting.

it took some work, but in only two whirlwind years, mason had landed his break-out role as michael kelso in that 70s show at just twenty years old. while this was a genuine dream come true, and mason was over the moon to "stick it to his family", who had always doubted him (especially good old pops), in the end, it was never his acting role that changed his life thanks to the show.

it was rose, his co-star who played jackie. as the show progressed, and they grew closer, mason fell head over heels in love with her, moreso than his long, complicated, overlapping string of girlfriends && flings before. for him, there was only rose.

then he starred in a rom-com, gaining more traction in his fame as a hollywood heartthrob. there were parties, there were interviews... then things slowed. no one sent scripts, or if they did, they cast other actors. fights with rose started, whose trajectory went only upwards. she shone, and he continued to dull in the spotlight.

he turned to drinking, and within years, a couple of failed thrilled indie films that were massive flops (if they even made it to box office) and his agent quit, claiming his career as dead.

mason went overboard, and things with rose disintegrated, as he found himself more and more miserable out of the spotlight. things soured worse with his family, friends abandoned him, and mason avoided press like the plague, eventually falling out of sight... and out of mind.

his life was a dark time for awhile. rose continued to glow, so he stopped watching tv. there were a couple of health scares, and eventually, mason couldn't recognize the man he was in the mirror anymore. when he made the decision to hire an agent, in the middle of the nostalgic revolution, watching all these other formerly silent stars come back... he felt hope again, for the first time ever, but he'd changed. mason was no longer going to be recieved as michael kelso, as he once had been. but his new agent promised this was a GOOD thing, and now, mason could be anyone.

he chose to be rose's on-screen husband, clawing his way to get there, going as far as to lie, cheat, and sabotage the competition, and snatching the role after it was officially cast as someone else. now, he's made it back to the spotlight, and he's got big plans on what to do with it.

wanted connections:

cast mates: self-explanatory! some may be bothered or suspicious how he got the role, or have been fans of that 70s show in the past and remember him?

former friends in the industry: anyone he knew before going dark && disappearing for years! so like, probably 2012/2013 was the last major contact together.

someone he slept with/casually dated during his indefinite hiatus: he'd have them sworn to secrecy by now, and probably avoids them/is embarrassed now, to have them know what he was like at his lowest. he wants to rebrand and rebuild - this will be awkward.

any other "burnout" stars returning: anyone who will accept/understand/support/encourage mason, or especially those who will relate to his struggles with drinking, failure, etc.

👂what's your first musical memory of depeche mode

Oh I am trying for a few minutes to think of something funny or interesting but I can't think of anything 😅. I got to depeche because I was looking for alternative bands (yeah Ik dm isnt alternative but i was listening to alt rock at that time) and i found depeche (I had heard ets and pj on radio before but I hadnt even known that's dm lol) , listened to a few songs and feel in love immediately.

Wah I am bad at such things. But I would say choose the word relaxation because their music makes my life brighter ( I met so many cool people because of them and had a lot of fun too thanks to their music 😊); their music soothes and uplifts me.

how they’d be introduced

I think she’d be introduced in s1 not long after Starlight joins The Seven. She would be in the middle of a huge tirade against Stillwell. Brie was initially promised the spot Annie filled, but after a scandal, was replaced without her knowledge. With Brie being the diva she is, she goes off on everyone in her path, including Annie who she sparks a one sided war with.

who the fandom ships them with

Hughie without a doubt. Alternatively, I think people could ship her with A-Train due to the similarities in their personality.

why the fandom loves them

Her unpredictability. Brie is full of surprises. The moment you think you know her like the back of her hand, she flips the script.

why the fandom hates them

Her bratty personality. Brie radiates privileged celebrity energy. So, I think that could rub some the wrong way. Her reasons for hating Starlight might also seem baseless to some.

what the cast relationship would be like

OMG Halston is such a precious bean, so I think she would fit in perfectly with the rest of the crew. I think she and Erin would do their best to keep their fans from pitting their respective characters against each other by demonstrating how well the actually get along in real life. I could see her and Jack getting along the best for some reason. 👀

what was their audition scene

Her dramatic tantrum on Stillwell at Vought would be her audition scene. I think if a chemistry read were needed for Halston and Jack it would be when Brie flirtatiously approaches Hughie at the bar after spotting him talking to Annie.

The Boys is still going and Brie’s overall journey is all over the place. Thus, I’m not sure if they would be happy with how their story ends because I am still on the fence about how it is going to go. 🙈

I think Heidi would be introduced making eye contact with Steve in the halls during s1 when it’s intercepted by Nancy’s presence. Carol would then catch up to her and tell her how much she wishes it was her with Steve in place of Nancy. The girl would then encourage her to make a move in spite of it all, but before Heidi can respond Steve calls them over. Carol goes but Heidi makes awkward eye contact with Nancy and storms off.

who the fandom ships them with

STEVE. That would by far be the superior ship because who isn’t a sucker for mutual pining. Nevertheless, I think many would ship her with Billy considering the fact that the two briefly date after he is introduced.

why the fandom loves them

One word: GROWTH. After being harassed by a flayed Billy, losing her brother, and later possessed by Vecna, Heidi goes from pushover class princess to a badass go-getter. I’m a sucker for character growth and I think fans would be too. 😉

why the fandom hates them

Probably the way she tries to stubbornly deal with all of her issues until she ultimately snaps. The fandom might also be bothered by the way she treats Steve coldly at times to keep him at bay even though they are clearly soulmates.

what the cast relationship would be like

I think Rachel’s relationship with the rest of the ST cast would be very similar to how it was with the cast of The Society; lighthearted and close knit. She and Joe K would be the biggest Heidi and Steve shippers there are.

what was their audition scene

Rachel’s audition scene for Heidi would be the part in s1 when Steve approaches her for advice on what to do about Nancy putting distance between them, and Heidi retorts that there are more important things going on that he should worry about instead of girl troubles. It’s about a two minute frustration filled monologue that would also serve as a chemistry read.

Whooping, cheering, hollering, a chance for me to yell about my faves ❤️ here are my faves in no particular order:

Eddie Munson, Stranger Things - This one is obvious. He's a character I really connect with as someone who was also the school freak throughout most of my time at school. He also gives me big gender envy and I've never been so attached to a character like I am with Eddie.

Dorian Pavus, Dragon Age: Inquisition - I love this man to the moon and back. He's witty, funny, intelligent, handsome as hell, but most importantly he's an incredibly important character for me. A gay, POC character, who fights for what's in his heart and who he is regardless of what his countrymen back in Tevinter think of him. (Also fun fact they based him and some of his design on Freddie Mercury)

Sagacious Zu, Jade Empire: Ah, one of the first edgy sad men I had a crush on when I was younger. I love all of the Jade Empire characters, but Zu especially holds a place in my heart. He's also the first fictional character death I cried over.

Morgana, BBC's Merlin - I love Morgana. She's a great, complex character and her transition from good to villain will forever be iconic to me. Her whole character arc in the show and the way the writers sewed the seeds for her to become a villain very early on is what inspires me to write badass, morally grey women with the potential to become a villain if the story calls for it.

Solomon Wreath, Skulduggery Pleasant - Can't have a favourite character list without a character from my favourite book series! SP and the character of Solomon were my first introduction to necromancy and the concept that life and death flow into one another rather than being completely separate concepts. Even now, when I reread the books for what must be the millionth time at this point, he's still the one I loom forward to meeting again.

Bella Goth, The Sims franchise - She is beauty. She is grace. She disappeared in Sims 2 and I adore the lore surrounding her and what happened to her. Plumbella has some amazing videos on it and there's also a v cool Sims 4 Machina called Bella Goth Reborn on YouTube that is absolutely incredible and you should all watch it.

Vergil, Devil May Cry - This man. This man is hot. I love a hero to villain arc, but what I love more is a villain to ally arc. Vergil going from villain to ally in more than one game and his motivation being having the power he never had to save his mother as a child are I credibly interesting to me and what make his character more complex than a character such as Dante or Lady. Those layers that the fandom explores are what make me love him so much (also he's hot).

River Song, Doctor Who - Listen. She has me in a chokehold. She's a badass woman and the moment I first saw her onscreen I was in love. Getting to explore more of her character through watching the show amd having to wait for that pay off while trying to figure out who she was with the clues that we were given is one of the fondest memories I have of watching Doctor Who when I was younger.

Raikou Shimizu, Nabari No Ou - My favourite ever manga and honestly, hand on heart, the one manga I recommend to everyone. It's a beautiful manga and choosing a fave is difficult, but it has to be Raikou. He's once again a fascinating, multi-layered character, and I think he's a v good example of a character that appears to be a villain at first but at the end of the day is just trying to do what's best and make the world a better place just like the other teens and young adults in the manga are.

Giorno Giovanna, JJBA Vento Aureo - Giorno is the best Jojo you can't change my mind. Also the fact that had he been included in Part 6 of the manga the whole ending likely would've changed dramatically is smth I think about a lot. I adore Giorno's character and he is what made me enjoy Part 5 so much. I've even got a figure of him in my childhood bedroom and a poster of him in my uni bedroom. I often wonder what his relationship with his father would've been like had he not been killed off in Part 3 and if they'd ever met.

the four men walked towards him, he notices and salutes to them. “sakuma senpai! what brings you here?”

is he trying to act ignorant to the situation? this was starting to anger rei. he sighed, deciding to give him the benefit of the doubt.

“i know you're busy due to your major, though i have to ask you something.” rei said.

ibara tried to look as neutral as possible. “what is it?”

“why are you ignoring y/n?”

there it is again. he didn't want to answer, if he really has to, then they'd have to force it out of him.

“for some reason, all of you are here.” he tried to change the subject. ibara could feel koga's rage from his glare, he definitely wanted to punch him then and there.

due to his experience, he'd be able to fight back easily, but if they actually decide to resort to violence, maybe he'd let them. it's what he deserves for being the biggest scum on earth.

“answer the question, you bastard!” koga growled. adonis had to hold him back a little.

ibara didn't say anything and avoided everyone's eyes. he turned around and began to walk away, koga's yelling getting louder with each step.

however, kaoru wasn't going to let this slide. he placed his hand on his shoulder and forcibly moved him so that they can face each other. the others followed and surrounded ibara, now he has nowhere to go.

“saegusa.” rei repeated. “there's no use in running away. you only have to tell the truth, it's not so hard.”

damn it.

“please mind your business and let me handle it on my own.” ibara replied.

“y/n's worried.” kaoru said. “you shouldn't just play with their feelings like this, don't make the same mistake.”

ibara thinks it's a bit too late for that warning. it seems as if he's repeating history. “i've already done it.”

“... what's your plan here, saegusa? because it's not going as well as you thought.” rei crossed his arms. “you're a smart man, but you acted impulsively this time. if you could tell us your concerns then we'd—”

ibara cuts him off. “what? you'd help? this is between me and nagisa. i'm only trying to make things right between them.”

the older male noticed how he dropped his usual title for him and used his name instead. how unexpected. “between them? you mean nagisa and y/n?”

“... i've said enough.”

“ibara.”

he didn't know what came over him. maybe he was tired of keeping these thoughts to himself, he knows he acted without thinking, there was just a part inside of him that hoped things would get better if he did that.

“i only wanted to make them happy.” he confessed. “i thought that y/n would be happier if they got back with nagisa... so i did what i had to do.”

“what the hell are ya talking about?!” koga snarled.

ibara clears his throat. “his excellency told me everything, and i thought it would be best for them to get back together. he was opposed to the plan, i don't think he's even following it, but i'm still trying.”

adonis finally speaks up. “... it doesn't sound like you thought about it much.”

“of course i didn't.” ibara's jaw clenched then he took a deep breath to not frustrate himself further. “it's what's best for them... now, if you'll excuse me, i have to get to class.”

the others didn't say anything else after that, they watched him walk away and they soon left as well.

they understood his intentions, but thought it would be best to wait. rei had a feeling that ibara wouldn't be able to keep up with his plan for long, and soon enough, the truth will be revealed.

someone just needs to give them a little push...

Affirmations For The “Mental Breakfast”

Hey Friends,

Who knew that talking to ourselves could be so beneficial? 🤷‍♀️

Research has shown that repeating positive affirmations can actually rewire our brains and help us feel more optimistic, confident, and motivated. It's like we're giving ourselves a pep talk but without the need for a mirror or a dramatic movie soundtrack in the background 🎬.

Here are five affirmations that I found to be particularly nourishing for my "mental breakfast":

1. “I aim to be the best version of myself.” 🌟 Remind yourself that every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve.

2. “Facing obstacles is normal. I will eventually overcome them as I have with others in the past.” This affirmation is a gentle reminder that you've conquered challenges before, and you're more than capable of doing it again.
