Me with my "Michael build the glamrock animatronics and programmed them to feel human emotions" theory/more of a headcanon tbh since I have only 3% proof for it to be really theory knowing that I probably look like a madman cause I give no context about why I believe that and honestly I don't even know why, just because I can.

Chapter 5: Spoiler Alert: We Run Away
The next chapter of my Byler Isekai AU is now up on Ao3! The title says it all, but the party finds running away from El's evil "brother" harder than it is in theory.
Tags: M, Graphic Descriptions of Violence, Fantasy AU, Canon Typical Violence, Canon Typical Horror, Friends to Lovers, Slow Burn
Summary:
Mike Wheeler hates High School, so when he almost dies and falls through a portal to another world, he’s not going to complain. Especially not when that world does not only have swords and magic but seems to work exactly according to the rules of his favorite tabletop role-playing game. But his euphoria might be short lived because the party of adventurers he falls in with turns out to be the target of an evil god and the fate of the world might rest on their shoulders. So, exactly like his games of D&D. Except the wanna-be Paladin soon realizes that being a hero is much harder in real life than it is in-game. - Or, Mike gets isekai’d into a world where D&D is real.
An excerpt and taglist below the cut:
Excerpt:
For a moment the party just stares in disbelief and horror at the disfigured corpse of what had moments ago been the Father of Gods. The vine that had killed him retreats only slowly from his mouth, the movements making the body look still, sickly, alive.
Then El screams. It’s a terrible, bloodcurdling noise. She throws up her hands, the right arm barely obeying because it is still broken, and One has no time to protect himself. He flies backwards roughly, crashing into the army of monsters behind him and taking them down with him. Mike thinks an ordinary person would die or at least be seriously injured by El tossing them this way but with their luck One will rise to his feet again with barely a scratch.
“Alright, alright, kids, lets go,” Hop says, clapping to get their attention.
They don’t need to be told even once. Their enemy briefly disposed of they pile into the car, weapons still at the ready except for Max, who swings into the driver’s seat. El stays where she is, keeping her hands up in a warding gesture, although Mike can’t see any magic actually wrapping around them and protecting them. And Lucas runs in a different direction: Towards Brenner’s body.
The few vines still slithering around the corpse shudder in pain as their master is blasted backwards but recover quickly, snapping at the Sorceress and the Ranger. Lucas evades them with quick steps, but El is too preoccupied and only saved by Hop pulling her backwards and into the wagon.
Lucas unsheathes his sword, making quick work of the vines and then begins dragging the body towards the others by its feet. Seeing his struggle, Dustin grunts and jumps back down to help, and Mike follows. More dark vines are already slithering towards them, unlike their legged brethren needing no time to recover.
As his friends toss the corpse onto the back of the cart, Mike squares off against them. The vines are fast, but he manages to keep them away from the others, his beginner skills finally finding a match. But as soon as Lucas calls his name he turns and runs, jumping at the car more than really inside of it.
Max floors the gas pedal and then they’re off while Dustin helps him inside.
The vines strain after them angrily, two of them briefly managing to snag the wheel as Max turns the wagon around because their original route of escape is covered in fleshy, writhing goo that is slowly morphing into bipedal, bulb-headed monsters. And, among them, Mike can see One rising back to his feet.
Erica runs her rapier through them, and, freed, they shoot off towards town.
Mike sinks onto a seat with shaking legs, barely even registering that the bench is wet with blood. He feels paper thin, every nerve in his body simultaneously strung high and screaming in pain and exhaustion.
They race through the town they had meant to avoid, and it’s not just the adrenaline and the shaking of the cart that has his stomach twist into more loops than a roller coaster. Main street is reasonably busy, the people, for the most part elves and dragonborn, going about their daily business with a calm serenity that is interrupted unduly when they clatter by. More than once someone has to jump out of the way, and Mike feels bad both about disrupting their lives with the horrors that are hot on their heels and about what he dreads One and his monsters will do to the regular people of Hawkins when they pass through.
Mike can’t decide whether he hopes Hawkins is a distraction or whether he wants One’s full attention on him and his friends so he leaves the town alone. Hawkins hasn’t done anything to him, but Mike also doesn’t want to die.
The fact that Brenner’s body has rag-dolled over their bags, bleeding out onto their things and jostling about with every uneven stone and bump in the road doesn’t really help matters. It’s already crowded enough in the back of the cart without the corpse.
Erica gives it a disgusted look as she tries to squeeze past it and then complains loudly when she loses her balance and lands on top of cooling limbs. Pretending to retch she turns to her brother with anger in her eyes. “Why did we bring him along? Please don’t tell me you plan on resurrecting him.”
Lucas presses his mouth into a thin line, neither admission nor denial.
“Dude,” Dustin say, despite having helped him load the corpse onto the car, “Please don’t say yes. You know we’d have Martin Brenner running around again if we did?”
Lucas glances in his direction, and at first Mike thinks he’s trying to catch Will’s eyes, since he’s the Cleric and sitting right next to Mike. But Lucas actually looks away once he meets Mike’s eyes, biting his lip. Mike doesn’t understand what he’s got to do with Brenner, but Lucas’s shoulder are hunched, every line of his body looking guilty.
Finally, the Ranger shakes his head. “No, I don’t want to bring him back. But we couldn’t just leave him. I don’t want to know what One would have done with his corpse.”
Mike couldn’t agree more, but Lucas is refusing to look at him.
Dustin weighs his head as if to say ‘fair enough’. Erica continues grimacing, but turns her attention to their pursuers.

+1. Eddie has a surprisingly insightful conversation
Part 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
Read on AO3.
Nearly a month had passed since they finally defeated the Upside Down for good. Since Eddie was welcomed back with tearful hugs and a very thorough dressing down from one Dustin Henderson for being a reckless self-sacrificing idiot. Since they celebrated finally putting Henry-slash-Vecna-slash-One in the ground.
Nearly three weeks since Eddie got to see his uncle again and hug him.
One week since a shadowy government organization sweeped everything under the rug and managed to clear Eddie’s name.
And two days since Eddie finally felt that everything had calmed down enough to give into the kids begging to have him DM another game for them. Only this time he had two extra players in Lady Applejack and the infamous Will the Wise.
He’d already had the honor of playing with Erica so he knew any campaign he planned had better be good enough to meet her meticulous standards. And while the 11-year-old was intimidating, Eddie was much more nervous about DM-ing for Will Byers.
The whole year Mike, Dustin and Lucas kept talking about their friend Will who used to play with them before he moved to California. They credited him with a lot of their more memorable strategies and also their general caution when it came to hidden traps and such, which had meant their characters made it through relatively unharmed compared to other Hellfire newcomers.
They had hyped up Will's campaigns so much that Eddie really wanted to impress the kid. So he thought he would add in some of the old characters and other references from Will’s old campaigns into the storyline.
That's the reason he now finds himself standing on the Hendersons’ doorstep. He had hoped Dustin might have some of his old notes and character sheets still lying around somewhere and to his relief Dustin said he did.
“Wait here, I’ll see if I can find them!”
Eddie awkwardly perched on the floral sofa and tried to look less like a bad influence in case Dustin’s mom happened to walk into the room. He looked around and fiddled with the rings on his hands when he saw a cat walking into the room and jumping onto an armchair like it owned the place.
Suddenly he remembered the examples of resurrections Steve had listed off for him.
He vaguely recalled Steve mentioning that Dustin's cat had gotten eaten by a demodog and then was the second being to be brought back to life.
And look the thing is, he still hadn’t quite come to terms with his whole painful death and sudden reawakening in the upside down. Unlike the other horrors he had witnessed during spring break he hadn’t had a chance to talk to someone about it either. Or at least anyone who could really understand what he went through.
He had accepted that at least for now talking to someone else who had died wasn’t in the cards for him. But according to Steve, technically Mews had experienced the same thing too. Hell, their deaths were even very similar because they had both been eaten by demo-monsters.
Feeling silly Eddie slowly kneeled in front of the armchair and carefully reached out a hand for the cat to sniff.
“Hey there, I‘m Eddie and I don’t know if you can tell, I’m, well, kinda like you.” Mews gave a little mrrp and butted his head against his hand, apparently satisfied with whatever he had smelled.
Eddie smiled a little. “ Well, not like you in that you are of course a very honorable feline and as you can tell by the lack of ears and whiskers I am but a lowly human - only good for scritches and treats,” he continued, dramatically laying a hand on his forehead in shame. Then his smile dropped and his expression turned more contemplative.
“I’m pretty sure you can’t even understand me. Not completely sure because after, let’s say, recent experiences; I’m willing to believe anything but cats understanding human speech seems a little far fetched. But I can’t really talk to anyone else about this. Steve said Will seems to still be sensitive ‘bout the whole undead thing and I don’t not want to like, further traumatize the guy by making him talk about it again.”
He started slowly petting Mews as he talked, falling deeper into thoughts as he justified why he was talking to a cat about his issues.
“I could try to talk to the chief but me and him aren’t really on the best terms with each other. He still doesn’t completely trust me even if I’m trying to appreciate my new lease on life and stay on the straight and narrow. Hah, and it's not like I’m gonna start respecting authority or anything like that so fair to say the dislike‘s mutual!”
“I know Max would get it and she would not hesitate to hit me over the head if she thought for a moment I was trying to not hurt her feelings or whatever but.” He swallowed looking down. “I don’t think I could stand to hear about her death. Not after seeing Chrissy– ”
He took a deep breath, physically shaking his head as if to shake off the horrific memory.
“So that leaves you. Because apparently you also got eaten and then brought back. And you seem happy and calm and relaxed and I don’t know if you have happened to notice but I am very much not handling this as well as you are! I was hunted down and eaten like, like some kind of zebra in a nature documentary! And now I am alive again and I have to just keep living my life like a normal human being as if I wasn’t a zebra for a hot second!”
He stops, realizing that he was getting loud and might attract attention if he continued. He definitely did not want Henderson or his mom walking in and seeing him right now.
“I died and now I’m alive and don’t get me wrong, I’m super grateful supergirl bothered to resurrect me but I don’t know how I’m supposed to move on when I still remember dying.”
Mews turns to lie on his back, closing his eyes and purring as if the armchair was the most lavish king size canopy bed to ever exist.
Eddie stared at the cat thoughtfully.
“I guess you’re right. This is my second chance at life and my last chance ended with me feeling miserable and hopeless. I was sure I was either going to die or spend the rest of my life in prison. But now here I am - alive and a free man. Maybe I should just focus on living this second life to the fullest. I ended my first life being worried about the future so why should I waste time doing the same thing in this one?”
He stood up, suddenly filled with determination.
“Thanks Mews. You felines clearly are as smart as they say!”
With a final pat for Mews, Eddie walked off to see where Dustin had wandered off to, a new pep in his step, resolved to find joy in whatever the future threw at him.

Dean Timeline Repost for Future Reference
Since many of us do not (or soon will not) have access to the Dean Timeline by @/soft-pine as a resource, I've decided to repost it before I've actually had the time to read the whole thing myself. I tried adding the original to the Wayback Machine, but because the original post has a readmore on it, I don't know of a way to save the full post to the Wayback Machine. (If anyone knows a way, please let me know in the notes or something.)
For this reason, I'm posting this without a cut at first, so I can (hopefully) save a screenshot to the Wayback Machine. Once that's done, I will put a cut to save the dash. I will have reblogs turned off until I've added a readmore and a WBM link to this post.
Updated with WBM archive link. It still gives a tumblr login wall after a couple seconds, so if you need to use it you'll want to select all and copy pretty quickly.

When consulting this timeline as a canon resource, I would keep in mind that John's Journal is not technically canon, and that some factoids from the TV canon may be unreliable narration or retcons (such as the mention of the Grand Canyon in s8, when previous canon already states that Sam and Dean have never been there.)

Dean is 4
John & Mary used to call Dean their “little piglet” because he liked to eat so much. [1]
Dean played T-ball. [2]
Mouse Trap is Dean's favorite game. [3]
Mary would feed Dean tomato-rice soup when he was sick. [4]
Mary would sing "Hey Jude" as a lullaby. [5]
Dean really likes Mary's meatloaf. He doesn't know she gets it from Piggly Wiggly. [6]
Between May and November John and Mary had a fight and John left home for a few days. [7]
November 2 - Mary Winchester dies, Sam is 6 months old.
November 6 - Mary Winchester's funeral. Her uncle arranges a headstone even though she doesn't have a body. [8] John Doesn't go. [9]
Before November 16 – They're staying with friends, Mike and Kate. [8] John Meets Missouri. [11]
November 16 – John walks out of Mike & Kate's. Takes boys to Julie's. Goes to see Missouri. Julie gets killed. They leave Lawrence. [12] “Got the hell out of Lawrence. If I never go back, it'll be too soon. Not for Dean, though. The first thing he wanted to know was when we would go remember a home [sic]. But we don't have a home anymore, Dean. The sooner you get used to that, the better.” [13]
John leaves a box of pictures in the basement of the house. [14]
November 20 – Dean sees John kill a shapeshifter. [15] “Dean walked out of the roadhouse right when I put the final bullet into the shape-shifter's head. And he said, 'Why'd you kill him, Dad?'” [16]
November 21 – Boys are with Pam & Bill in Elgin. John's first night away from them. [17] “Here's what I wish I could say to Dean – Your brother's too young to understand any of this, but you're beginning to. And that scares me. Since your mother died, I've seen unspeakable things, and now you've seen them and that's my fault.... Until then, I can only pray that you're strong enough to look after Sam. One of us has to be.” [18]
November 25 – John meets Pastor Jim. [19]
November 29 – John gets the boys from Elgin & leaves. [20]
December - Dean still hardly talks. He never budges from John's side – "or from his brother. Every morning, Dean is inside the crib, arms wrapped around baby Sam. Like he’s trying to protect him from whatever is out there in the night. [21]
December 11 - Sammy has finally started sleeping through the night, and now that Dean shares a bed with him, he’s out like a light as well. [22]
December 25 - "a crooked two foot tall plastic tree, a bunch of junk food stuffed in the stockings, and a pile of sports equipment for the boys… football, basketball, soccer." [23]
December 29 - “Dean hasn't been the same since he saw me kill that shape-shifter. I don't know how to talk to him about it. He's not even five years old. Most kids his age don't even have a clear idea what death is, and he's seen it up close and personal. What do I say to him? How old does he have to be before I tell him the truth?”[24]

Dean is 5
“I realized I can't leave [Dean] in school... I know he should be able to run around with other kids, who don't know how to field-strip the Browning. Well, Dean doesn't either, yet. But he's learning. He's got a talent for guns. I can see it already. And he'll need it.” [1]
May 2 – John meets Daniel Elkins. [2]
May 17 - “Sammy took his first steps yesterday. He walked toward Dean, then fell flat on his face and started crying. Life is tough, kid. Do I sound like a proud dad? I am.” [3]

Dean is 6
January 24 - “It's been more than a year since he saw me kill a shape-shifter. He doesn't talk about it anymore. And he's stopped asking when he's going to go to school. Maybe this year, now that he's a little older, now that he knows a little more about things. I've been teaching him. Not the worst stuff, but enough so he knows that there are things that go bump in the night.” [1]
September 7 – Dean's first day of school. [2] “He asked on the way in whether kids in school learned the same stuff he'd been learning. I had to tell him that maybe it wasn't a good idea for him to talk about Dad's job on the playground. He came home on the top of the world, and he brought me worksheets with the names of the different parts of a fish...” [3]
November 2 - “Dean saw something on my face, or maybe it was just that he knew what day it is. When I got here, he came up to me and asked if I'd had a tough hunt. I couldn't talk for a minute.” [4]
November 14 – John takes Dean shooting the first time. “Took Dean shooting. If he's big enough to try to comfort me, he's big enough to start learning the tools of the trade. I only let him fire the .22, but he is a deadeye marksman. My drill sergeant would have taken him over me in a second. Times like this, I sure am proud of my boy. I have a feeling it will be different with Sammy. Maybe he's just too young to show it, but I don't think he's got the same kind of killer instinct.” [5] John takes Dean out shooting for the first time, using bottles as target practice. According to Dean, he "bullseyed every one of them." Dean remembers this story as him being “6 or 7." Dean cites this story as one of the fonder memories of his father. [6]
Rufus spent the whole year being nice. It was the worst year of his life.

Dean is 7. “For his seventh birthday, I took Dean shooting again. He wanted to fire one of the big guns – that's what he called them. I let him shoot the Browning, but I steadied his hands. Sammy wanted me to help him make Dean a card.” [1]
Dean starts having a crush on Daisy Duke. [2]
April 16 – Bill Harvelle dies. [3]
May 2 - “Sammy is three years old today. We celebrated with ice-cream cake. He was still wearing most of it when he fell asleep. Dean's sleeping too, the two of them in the same bed. The room only has one bed. I'll sleep on the floor... Some nights it's enough to watch them sleep, and know that if they start having a nightmare, I'll be right there to stop it.” [4]
September 5 – Dean starts second grade. “I watch him like a hawk. He makes me swear that I'll take good care of Sammy before he'll go to school. God, I love that kid.... Sammy's a very different kid. He hasn't taken to the idea of hunting bad guys, and he's still too young to really understand what it means to avenge his mother.” [5]
November 2 – “Dean watches his little brother like a hawk every minute, with an expression on his face that says he's willing to die to keep Sammy safe. [Mary] doesn't know how it tears me up inside to see that expression, and to know that it's there because I have drilled it into Dean that Sammy is his responsibility. He's eight [sic] years old, and I've told him his brother's life is in his hands. Mary, I didn't have any right to do that. But what else could I do?” [6]

January 24 - Dean's school has a party for him then John takes them to Chuck E. Cheese's. [1]
John takes Dean and Sam on a donkey ride at the Grand Canyon. Dean’s donkey is very flatulent which Sam finds very funny. [2]
May 2 – John has to pull Dean out of school because a demon knows where they are. “Dean understands.” [3]
May 17 - “I'm starting to figure out you can move a kid from school to school every month, and the schools deal with it because they have to. A part of me wonders how the kids deal with it. But sons have to be soldiers. And soldiers adapt.” [4]
July 13 – A hunt goes bad for John in Portland, Maine. “We were almost to the New Hampshire state line and I'd told Dean a little about what had happened, because I was so frustrated and ashamed that I had to talk to someone. Sammy was asleep the whole time. Then Dean asked me one of those killer questions that little kids come up with. 'Dad,' he says, 'Won't the manitou go after other people now?' That's a hard thing to face. Not that he asked the question, or that he was right, but that he had a better sense of right and wrong than I did.” [5]
November 2 - “Dean asked me today what she looked like. He never talks about her on any other day but this one. I couldn't even show him a picture, so I told him what you tell a boy who asks about his dead mother. I told him that she was beautiful and kind and she loved him and Sammy more than anything in the world.” [6]

January 24 - “We're on our third move, so he might not finish third grade. He calls himself the New Kid all the time. He's been to three schools already this year. Who knows how many more.” [1]
May 2 - John is hunting a Shtriga in Wisconsin when he leaves Sam and Dean alone in a hotel room. Dean gets bored and goes out and comes back to find the Shtriga attacking Sammy. John returns in time to scare the Shtriga off. [2] “I could blame Dean, but it's my fault. There's enough blame to go around. I missed the kill, and I left Dean watching Sam, and he couldn't pull the trigger when he needed to. I haven't taught him well enough. If he is weak like that again, my boys will die... but what kind of father am I to put my a nine-year-old boy in a situation where he might have to kill to protect his brother? I'm the kind of father I have to be. I'm the kind of father who teaches his boys that no man or monster can kill their mother and get away with it.” [3]
They know Pastor Jim by this point. [4]
Dean and Sam (5) were playing dress up as Batman and Superman and jump of the roof of a shed. Sam breaks his arm and Dean took him to the E.R. on the handlebars of his bike. [5]
May – John knows Bobby by now. [6]
December 5 - “Dean's teacher called to tell me that he got a subscription to Weekly World News, and had it delivered to school. How is he paying for it? I could ask him, but he's already too sharp to give me a straight answer. And I could force him to, but there's no point. If that makes him feel more at him in this world...” [7] (Dean later misremembers the name of the newspaper.[8])

Dean is 10
January 24 - “Dean turns ten today. Regan out of office.” [1]
Dean knows how to drive. [2] “Not young like I was when he actually taught me how to drive.” [3] (If Sam learned to drive by 9 (see 1992), it stands to reason Dean would have learned at least that early if not sooner.)
“When I was 10, I got my first B&E from borrowing some family's pay-per-view so I could watch the cage match between you and the Tower of Power.” [4]
May 2 – Sam turns six. John sends him to kindergarten. “He's such a different kid than Dean. Quiet, watchful. He's learned that there are things to fear in the world, but where Dean wants to fight them, you get the sense that Sammy watches, learns.” [5]
July 4 – Dean & Sam are in a day camp. Staying nights with Pastor Jim – camping in his yard. “On the fifth day of the camp, Dean was canoeing through an easy rapids on the Blue Earth River. Things went bad. Dean swore to me when he came back that he'd seen something – only he said 'someone' – capsize the canoe. I didn't think about it too much... until the next week when another canoe went over and the counselor paddling it died.” John pulls them from camp. [6]
Dean: "You couldn't been more than 5— you just started asking questions. How come we didn't have a mom? Why do we always have to move around? Where'd Dad go when he'd take off for days at a time? I remember I begged you, "Quit asking, Sammy. Man, you don't want to know.... I just wanted you to be a kid... Just for a little while longer. I always tried to protect you... Keep you safe... Dad didn't even have to tell me. It was just always my responsibility, you know? It's like I had one job... I had one job..." [7]
November 2 - “Today I overheard the boys talking about her, about her death. Sammy's old enough to be asking hard questions, and I think that's making Dean think about some things that he'd put away until now. He's a tough little kid, Dean. Like me. But he's also like me in the way he holds things in. Now his little brother is asking him things and he's got to figure out a way to protect Sammy while Sammy's questions put him through the emotional wringer all over again.” [8]
Bobby takes Dean to play catch instead of “practice with the double-barrel” as John had instructed Dean. In the flash back Rufus guesses the year is around 1989. “No, we didn't shoot rifles, as a matter of fact. We threw a ball around. He's a kid, John. They both are. They're entitled.... Yeah, I know I ain't their dad.” Bobby hangs up and throws the phone down. [9]

Sam sticks army men into Baby's ashtray. [1]
Dean sticks Legos into the vents. [2]
Dean eating all of Sam's Halloween candy sometime. [3]
John taking them to see World of Wrestling. Sometime before Dean is ten. Dean calls it “one of the nicest things” John ever did. Sam remembers John getting drunk. [4]
John takes Dean fishing. When Dean tells Jack, Jack feels from his tone that it's his happiest memory of John. [5]
Dean telling Sam a stupid joke to distract him from ripping off bandaids when he was little. [6]
The first beer John shared with Dean tasted like "crap". [7]
Sam's memory of Thanksgivings: “We had a bucket of extra-crispy and Dad passed out on the couch. [8]
"I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up." [9]
Dean says he believed the TV ads about Sea Monkeys having families [10]
Dean mentions a babysitter, Mrs Chancy, who was obsessed with the TV show Dynasty [11], which ran until 1989 when Dean was ten. This could be a lie he's just telling a kid to get him to open up about his babysitter though.
"Alright, here we go. John Winchester's famous cure-all kitchen sink stew. There you go. Enough cayenne pepper in there to burn your lips off, just like Dad used to make."
"You used to read to me, um, when I was little, I— I mean, really little, from that— from that old, uh... Classics Illustrated comic book. You remember that? ... Knights of the Round Table. Had all of King Arthur's knights, and they were all on the quest for the Holy Grail. And I remember looking at this picture of Sir Galahad, and, and, and he was kneeling, and— and light streaming over his face..."

January 24 - “Dean turns eleven today. He asked for his own gun, and I got him one. A Seecamp LWS .32 automatic, the smallest gun I could find that offered any kind of stopping power. Dean and I poured silver slugs for it ourselves and we loaded it with alternating silver and Winchester hollow-points. He's got it in his pocket now.” [1]
January - John is injured on a hunt in Windom, Minnesota, and goes to the hospital, where he meets Kate Milligan. [2]
May 2 – They've moved around enough that Sam is behind in school. John thinks he should do more like home teaching. “I'd ask Dean to do it, but there's only so much you can pile on a kid. Having Sammy's life in his hands is enough for Dean; he can't be responsible for home-schooling Sammy too.” [3]
September 29 - Adam Milligan is born. [4]

February – Winchesters go to Albuquerque for a few months. Dean “even talked about wanting to play basketball this spring, but I'm not sure he's serious. I think he's taking cues from me, talking about everyday stuff when I try to keep us in one place. Then when we're on the road again, all he can talk about is hunting.” [1]
March – Sam played a sunbeam in the school play and talking about a science project to enter into the school fair. John working construction. [2]
March 17 – The kids play soccer. [3]
April 1 – John quits his job. Mrs Lyle kidnaps Sam – taking him to a regional science fair but not. “Dean came through. I don't have any words for how proud I am of him. His brother's under some kind of spell, there's a giant monster made out of train parts coming after me, and he has the presence of mind to find the journal and read the exorcism out of it. I almost lost both of my boys today.... How am I going to explain to Sammy that we're not going back to school?... To top it all off, I had to give Sammy a sharp lecture on not talking to strangers. While I was on the phone with Bobby, he just got out of the car and went up to a black Seville. I read him the riot act – Dean too, since he let it happen and it's his job to watch Sammy. All Sammy would say about it was that the guy wanted to know where we were going.” [4]
April 7 – At Bobby's. [5]
April 18 – Silas, friend of Bobby's tells John Sam is special. [6]
April 19 – John taking Dean deer hunting. “It's out of season but the Dakotas are lousy with Deer and Dean needs to pull a trigger to sharpen him up.... The hunting trip was nearly a disaster. Dean missed the shot. I sent him after the buck, a beautiful twelve-pointer, and he dropped the gun when he tripped on the trail. Then out of nowhere comes Sammy, who picks up the gun and lays that big boy out. A seven-year old... well, almost eight. Then he tells me that the deer had taken Dean's gun, and that Sammy had to protect him.” Sam got a ride from the Black Seville to the trail. They go back to see Silas. Dean & John leave for an hour but they see the Seville. Go back to Silas'. John leaves Dean outside with Sam on the porch but John finds Silas butchered inside. [7]
Dean to Bobby: “You used to take us hunting. Remember? Dad had a case, he'd just dump us on you. Shoot, you must have taught us most of the outdoor tracking we know.” Bobby: “Yeah, what I could get to stick. I never could get you little grubs to pull a trigger on a single deer.” Dean: “You’re talking about Bambi, man.” Bobby: “You don't shoot Bambi, jackass. You shoot Bambi's mother.” [8] (This interaction isn't directly referencing the story above but it adds context, I think.)
April 20 – John has kidnapped Anderson, from the Black Seville, stolen the car and Dean killed Anderson. “My oldest son is blooded.” [9]
December 25 - Sam (8) and Dean are at a motel in Broken Bow, Nebraska. John is hunting while Sam and Dean spend Christmas alone together. Sam reads John's Journal and finds out that Mary's death was supernatural, monsters are real, and that John hunts them. He confronts Dean, who confirms it. Sam gives Dean an amulet. [10] John suspects Sam has been reading the journal. Says he left them presents. Dean stole night vision goggles from the gun show in Amarillo to give to John from him & Sam. [11] “They're both starting to act out a little, because we're apart so much. Sam gets resentful and has trouble keeping his temper. Dean tries to fix everything and keep us together as a team.” [12]

March 30 - “I thought the lesson was learned back in Wisconsin, but the same thing almost happened again. I left the boys next at the beach in Two Lakes State Park and went looking for a skinwalker, and then it was Ichi all over again. Only this time the skinwalker took on the appearance of a park ranger it had killed, and nearly got the boys to come with it because they trusted the uniform. I still can't completely trust them on a hunt. I took it down, and lit into the two of them. Especially Dean. I have to be hard on him because one of these days I'm not going to be around, and he's the one who's going to have to look out for his brother. He's a badass, though. I thought I was tough when I was thirteen, but Dean would have kicked my ass six ways to Sunday.” [2]
John buys a Playboy featuring Anna-Nicole Smith, both boys end up reading it. [3]
June - Sam tells John he is afraid of the monster in his closet and John gives him a .45. [4] Sam sleeps with it under his pillow and sleeps soundly for 5 nights in a row. [5]
Sam wants to go hunting with Dean. Dean says John said no. John calls to ask Sam to come. [6]

January 24 – Dean goes to the movies with "girlfriend" (according to John) Katie. “Quite the ladykiller that kid. Like I was at his age.” John thinks Dean is like him and trouble. “He's like me. If i'm not careful with him, by the time he's twenty he'll have left a trail of kids and arrests warrants all over the country.” [1]
January – Motel Baba Yaga case. Dean says, “I was babysitting you when I was your age”. Sam says "I'm pretty sure that's illegal." Dean sees the nest, a pile of dead kids and has "nightmares about it for the longest time." [2]
May – Sam has been on a soccer team. He had a game and John took him bow hunting instead. They need to learn weapons because “there are demons after Sammy. He needs to know how to fight them, and Dean needs to know how to protect him.” [3]
Summer - John takes them hiking in the Rocky Mountains. One day he fills packs for Sam & Dean and takes them up a mountain and leaves them around dark, telling them to wait for an hour then try to find the way back and that he doesn't expect them for days. They find the packs are full of mostly useless supplies. John says it's a lesson not to trust anyone. [4] (DM me if you want the full quote. It's really sad.)

May 2 – Sam asks for a computer for his birthday. John gets him a Macintosh Performa. “Looks like Team Winchester just took a big leap ahead when it comes to gathering information.” John mentions Bobby helped him get fake credit cards. [2]
Summer - Sam and Dean spend part of the summer being looked after by Donna, a babysitter (and maid at the Mayflower) in Housatonic, Massachusetts, while John hunts. One time John is gone for two weeks. It is the summer before Sam enters 6th grade, and he assigns himself a summer reading list. Dean possibly has a crush on Donna. [3]
October - They are living In Bismark (North Dakota?). Sam has a crush on Andrea Howell & has a really bad experience at her Halloween party, throwing up. Sam hides in the woods until Dean comes and gets him. [4]

January 25 – Dean does very well. Good shot. [2] Dean's first Werewolf. Sam go to the body burning. "So. I pick up this crossbow. And I hit that ugly sucker with a silver-tipped arrow right in his heart. Sammy's waiting in the car, and uh, me and my dad take the thing into the woods, burn it to a crisp. I'm sitting there and looking into the fire, and I'm thinking to myself, I'm sixteen years old. Most kids my age are worried about pimples, prom dates. I'm seeing things that they'll never even know. Never even dream of." [3]
Dean spends two months at Sonny's Home for Boys after being caught shoplifting. [4]
April 20 - Dean's award for New York Wrestling Champion. [5] John is in Oklahoma City hunting. [6]
Sam spends all of his time on the computer or arguing with John. “He wants to be in one place, live a normal life. The older he gets, the more he wants it. But the older he gets, the more I'm going to need him to help on the hunt. He's got to understand that.” [7]
November 13 – Sam's soccer team won division championship. John writes that he's proud of him and that he'll keep the trophy. [8]

January 24 – John takes Dean shooting. Then sends him to hunt. “I've let him take the lead before but I've always been there to back him up. This time he's on his own. Partly it's a test, and partly I wanted some time with Sammy. Should be no problem for Dean. Ghosts of two nuns haunting St. Stephen's Indian Mission in Riverton, Wyoming. Simple salt-and-burn mission. Nuns in love with each other, then discovered. Killed themselves. We scoped the situation out, figured that something must be left behind that's now a focus for the haunting. Bible, rosary beads, some small article that's hidden somewhere in their room. I figured Dean would take care of it no problem, but I still stayed close by with Sammy.... Dean took care of the nuns just like I thought he would, but I don't think I'm going to be sending him on any more solos soon.” [1]
Sam finishes sixth grade a year late. He's mad about it. [2]
July 4 - Dean and Sam set off fireworks in a field and almost burn it down. [3]
At some point when Sam was 13 he ran away for two weeks while under Dean's watch in Flagstaff, Arizona, living off pizza in a cabin and befriending a dog he called Bones. Dean scoured the whole town looking for him and worried he might have died, and John was furious when he found out. [3]

He goddamn well better take care of it.” [1]
When he's 13, Sam briefly wants to be a magician. [2]
May – Sam has been having strange dreams. “Plus now that he's hitting adolescence, he's a giant pain in the ass. Dean just chased girls and snuck around with beers in his coat pockets.” Sam just shuts down or wants to argue. [3]
June 16 – John claims Dean graduates high school & gets a diploma. John says Sam will be graduating when he's nineteen and will be mad about it. [4] But Dean didn't graduate high school. He got a GED. [5]
July 4 - Sam and Dean “burned down that field” when they set off their own fireworks display. [6]
Summer - The Winchesters hunt a werewolf. [7]
November - Sam and Dean attend Truman High in Fairfax, Indiana, for 3 or 4 weeks, while John is on a hunt that was originally supposed to be 2 weeks but ended up taking longer than expected. Dean is in 12th Grade. It is the third school they have attended since September. [8]

(i.e. just quotes and things that are either too general to place in time or give windows into Dean's feelings about John at various points)
Toni Bevell saying about John's drunken rages and weeks of abandonment. Also pointing out that Dean & Sam didn't tell Mary about it. [1]
Dean says he & Sam could have benefited from a mother's dating advice. [2]
Sam talks about worrying when John & Dean would be out on a hunt and he wouldn't hear from them for days. He thought about what he would do. [3]
Sam saying it seemed to him Dean & John bonded over hunting. [4]
Dean's allusions to liking dancing/wanting to be a dancer. [5]
John saying hunter gatherings were trouble and in general keeping Sam & Dean away from them. [6]
Dean: “I know things got dicey… you know, with dad… the way he was. And I just… I didn’t always look out for you the way that I should’ve. I mean, I had my own stuff, you know. In order to keep the peace, it probably looked like I took his side quite a bit. Sometimes when I was… when I was away, you know it wasn’t ‘cause I just ran out, right? Dad would… he would send me away when I really pissed him off. I think you knew that.” [7]
Dean: “Ah well, growing up it was a… it was always nice to check out once in a while. I like to watch movies where I know the bad guy is going to lose.” [8]
“you know kids, no matter what they still want the old man's approval” about an abusive dad. Dean agrees to it. [9]
Dean drinks to “crappy childhoods”. [10]
Dean: “Jo, you've got options. No one in their right mind chooses this life. My dad started me in this when I was so young... I wish I could do something else... Jo, you've got a mother that worries about you. Who wants something more for you. Those are good things. You don't throw things like that away. Might be hard to find later.” [11]
Sam: “his drill sergeant thing worked with you but it didn't work with me.” [12]
Sam: “Dad always said it was temporary, Dean. He said it for 22 years.” [13]
Dean: “And I get what I've been doing lately, you know, what with the yelling and the acting like a prison guard. It's just, that's not me. You tell yourself you're not gonna be something, you know? But my dad was exactly like this. All the time. It's scaring the hell out of me.” [14]
Sam: “I wish I could have that kinda innocence.” Dean: “If it means anything, sometimes I wish you could too.” [15]
“I'm starting to get why parents lie to their kids. You want them to believe that the worst thing out there is mixing Pop Rocks and Coke—protect them from the real evil. You want them going to bed feeling safe. If that means lying to them, so be it. The more I think about it...the more I wish Dad had lied to us.” [16]

Dean learned to use CB radios to look for leads from truckers. John used them all the time. [18]
“Growing up on the road, no matter where Dad dragged us, no matter what we did, there was always a TV. And you know what was on that TV? Scooby and the gang.” [19]
Sam: "And when we were kids how many times did we tell dad we were fine just to make him happy?!" [20]
Sam says explicitly that they had to hustle pool to eat. [21] Additionally, Sam says John made them do this. [22]
Travis: "you ever been really hungry? I mean, haven't-eaten-in-days hungry?" Dean: a 'yeah' so emphatic his voice cracks. Sam: silence. [23]
John: “You know, when you were a kid, I'd come home from a hunt, and after what I'd seen, I'd be, I'd be wrecked. And you, you'd come up to me and you, you'd put your hand on my shoulder and you'd look me in the eye and you'd... You'd say 'It's okay, Dad'... You shouldn't have had to say that to me, I should have been saying that to you. You know, I put, I put too much on your shoulders, I made you grow up too fast. You took care of Sammy, you took care of me. You did that, and you didn't complain, not once.” [24]

THE MASTER EDDIE THEORY POST
I think theres a way Eddie can come back and it might have been set up since his first episode. You've probably heard a lot of this, but im trying to figure out the details. This is going to be long. Perhaps stupidity long....
But I think the most important thing with these theories is 'can it be easily revealed and make sense' and i think this can. Most of it is foreshadowing and clues, but the main bulk just has to be "can he come back, can they quickly explain how "
I'd like to stress that i don't think he's going to be a literal vampire, the same way the Mindflayer isn't a Cthulhu in a dress. I think its just going to be the "killed by bats/back from the dead/works for Vecna" part thats going to make Dustin think of Kas. The rest is clues and foreshadowing for the audience.
The How
Kas: a DnD character who “sacrificed himself to Vecna to become a half-human, half-vampire. He was Vecna’s trusted soldier, but after years and years of imprisonment; he broke his trust and waged a war against his master and finally killed him”
-Eddie technically ‘sacrificed’ himself to Vecna since the bats are Vecna, one big hive mind, Steve says as much, and Eddie sacrificed himself to them to save everyone
-He was bitten to death by 'bats', preeetty 'vampire' like
-I think the bats bites contain some sort of venom. And if they're connected to Vecna, so is the venom. Basically you're injected with Vecna. That venom then acts like psychic 'strings’ he can use to 'puppet’ people, since again, hivemind.
-I think Robin talking so much about rabies was to subtly introduce the idea that the bats could put something in you, that would change you, make you aggressive etc. When they figure out the truth, it's the perfect setup for Robin to make an awkward joke referencing that
-I think the reason Steve was fine after being being bitten is that you have to die after being bit while its still in your system, and/or while in the Upsidedown (although we dont know whats in store for Steve in S5...)
-I think Vecna uses the bats to do this because anyone actually getting through his portals or coming that close to his house would be useful. Find out what their plans are, what they know, and use them against others
Clues
-There’s going to be a time jump next season so 'years of imprisonment’ fits.
-He wore that Michael Myers mask, a dude famous for dying at the end of his movie and coming back, and it reflects Vecna doing the same thing, and creating a subtle connection between Eddie and Vecna and 'not dying'
-You know how they always first introduce a DnD villain during the opening game, then they name the coincidentally similar Upsidedown threat after it? Ep1 of season 4 during the DnD game when Eddie reveals Vecna’s still alive:
Dustin: Vecnas dead!
Eddie: So it was thought, my friends, so it was thought
Mike: Killed by Kas!!
So Kas has already been mentioned in a DnD game, while Eddie was revealing to 'his friends’ that Vecna is alive…
-Eddie also chanted "hail lord Vecna" during that game
-They wouldn't let Joseph Quinn keep a wig, almost like they still need them...
-The Duffer Brothers confirmed that Eddie is “definitely dead” (a 'vampires’ definitely dead) and his death will have “huge repercussions” in season 5. But I mean…how? Its going to be like 2 years later, I can see it having an effect on Dustin, a "huge effect" or "huge impact" but not “huge repercussions”…..unless when he died he brought back by Vecna to use against them; a huge repercussion specifically happening because he died
-Major character deaths per season: Barbara, Bob, Billy, Brenner...and Eddie? One of those doesn't fit. Almost like its not supposed to...
-Kas fought with a one-handed blade and a shield with spikes on it, sound familiar?
Tumblr media
Here's the most famous image of Kas, fighting Vecna:
Tumblr media
May I point out the 'the demobats are extensions of Vecna' thing, and how Eddies essentially fighting Vecna there?
-He literally is wearing a shirt with what looks like a horned vampire with bat wings next to a flaming sword, and constantly mimics that face
-The Master Of Puppets thing. A good way to have Vecna 'puppet’ someone raised by the dead, and make it believable as to why we havent seen it happen before: its the venom in the bats specifically that needs to be in the person when they die. That's never happened, because nobody's ever gone into the Upsidedown and dealt with the bats and died after being bitten
-And if Vecna; the master of puppets, puppeting the bats through a hive mind, killed Eddie and resurrected him...then he was killed by the puppets of the master of puppets that he summoned playing Master Of Puppets and then became the master of puppet's puppet. That's fun, I like that
-Also Eddies tattoo definitely looks like a demon puppeting a demon (that's got the same horns as the Hellfire Club logo/Kas helmet/that face Eddie makes)
Tumblr media
-Eddies also wearing a pin for the song Mercyful Fate by Metallica, which contains the lyrics: Raised from my grave by the dead/And I was made a mercenary/In the legions of Hell. Literally describes Kas
-This Iron Maiden album that came out in 86 that says "Eddie Lives" on the right:
Tumblr media
-I think the demonic skull tattoo:
Tumblr media
Is straight up Undead Eddie. It's an undead skull with pointy teeth and blood in its mouth.
-He's got a black widow spider tattoo. The Mind Flayer is basically Vecnas second in command, but clearly not by choice. He found it, molded into a spider, and controls it. I think Eddie spider tattoo is referencing that he's going to be the new 'spider' that Vecna found, molded into what he wanted, and controls. His new second in command, just like Kas
-Now! This is a picture of a guy hanging posters of a missing loved one who we last saw in the Upsidedown. He will soon be told that loved one is dead…that will turn out to be not true, they’ll actually still be in the Upsidedown, alive:
Tumblr media
And this is a picture of a guy hanging posters of a missing loved one who we last saw in the Upsidedown. He will soon be told that loved one is dead…
Tumblr media
That can’t be a coincidence, come on. Wayne is wearing the same jacket while doing the same thing, in the same position just shot from the opposite side. A pile of really incredible film makers could not do that accidentally
-Speaking of parallels with that, the same music plays when Hopper and Joyce find Will 'dead' in the upsidedown and revive him with CPR as they do when Eddie 'dies' in the upsidedown, as well as during Max's death before she's revived by El. All of them dead, laying on the ground, held by a loved one. Three death scenes, all with the same music, all in the same position, and 2/3 of them are revived
The Sword
-"The Sword was created by Vecna's own skill." Eddie didn't grab his guitar, he grabbed the one from the Upsidedown, where everything was created by Vecna's own skill
-"The Sword whispered dreams of treachery to Kas until he betrayed his master" I believe will just translate as anytime Eddie plays it, the music does what it did for Max, and keeps the 'half human' part of him alive.
-They wouldn't let Joseph Quinn keep the guitar, almost like they still need it...
-"The Sword of Kas could be used to call down lightning from any clouds overhead" they sure used this imagery a lot
Tumblr media
Nothing is 1:1 with the actual dnd character, I don't think he'll be out there like heavy metal Witcher with an actual sword, but I think they'll twist the 'sword' concept into something that fits with the show
The music (from his guitar) has been keeping bits of Eddie still there and able to fight, being able to be reached after an emotional speech from Dustin, who he then fully betrays Vecna to save.
I think Dustin will have long hair, wearing Eddies Dio vest, basically trying to become him as if that will keep him alive. Breaking his 'never change' promise, and that being an issue throughout the season (still not something I'd describe as "huge repercussions") which will be resolved with another emotional moment between them. Dustin stops being himself in an attempt to 'resurrect' Eddie, and its a resurrected Eddie that 'resurrects' Dustin
And, one final cherry: an interviewer said they wished "Eddie was still alive"
Joseph:
Tumblr media
Oh hes definitely he alive
Extra thanks to @cherry-clown for discovering the missing poster scene parallels, and the theory that they quarantined off town with El still inside. And @sharp-and-swift for showing me the spider tattoo

rant about fnaf dream theory
Dream theory is bad.
Not in terms of today, because of course its wrong today. I mean back in 2015 when the fnaf world thing came out and everyone lost there fucking minds (not in a good way).
And yeah, I get it. Just hearing about dream theory makes me angry. But this was considered ACTUAL canon by the maker of fnaf himself for some reason despite the fact it made (and makes) no sense.
First point; the flatline.
As you probably know, when you beat night 6 in fnaf 4 you get this sad cutscene of the crying child dying. His brother apologises to him and Fredbear tells him he’ll put him back together yeah yeah yeah, but then, guess what?
The child dies. Surprise. A flatline is heard.
What am I getting at with this, you ask (maybe). Well, phone guy talks about the ‘bite of ‘87’. If we are going off dream theory, this is a reference to his incident (which was retconned BY SCOTT in the game files but whatever). But that doesn’t make sense if he died, because then he wouldn’t be alive to dream about this. SPEAKING OF WHIC-
Point 2; phone guy
Why is he here? How does the child know about him? How does he know exactly what his voice sounds like? And don’t say “The toy phone in his dreams!” because there is no phone in his room in the minigames, which I thought were supposed to be the waking world (CHICA-). It would make more sense for it to be mike in the actual gameplay of fnaf 4 but thats not what we are talking about shhhh
Point 3; frontal lobe
There are many problems with this. On one hand, the hand that thinks that CC died after his little incident, this is really dumb cause how does this 8-10 year old child know about frontal lobes without the internet. And on the other hand, the CC is fine actually after having his skull crushed actually (scott I presume), then I get the whole knowing about it (because the doctors probably talked about it) but what about the line of “You’re broken” and “I will put you back together” sorry fredbear the doctors already did that. And also, if by the time scott decided “yes these minigames take place in 1983” then why did the phone guy say “Its amazing the human body can live without the frontal lobe” in relation to ‘87??? like???? It probably wouldn’t be as amazing if it has already happened before
Forth Point; don’t you fuccking dare say “its a dream!”
I highly doubt that this theory has any defenders nowadays, but if their are any I will strawman the fuck out of them. If it is just a dream, and all of my previous points don’t matter, then why is it that the main reason behind this theory was the chica doll loosing her beak (WE WILL GET BACK TO HER LATER)? Why put so much stake into that when there is quite a bit of evidence supporting otherwise, trying to find ways that it fits? In that case too, why isn’t there a foxy variant with no head? Why does the bonnie plush in CC’s room have a face? Is it because its fnaf 1 bonnie? That just brings me back to the foxy thing. If CC is so scared of fredbear, why doesn’t he appear in more of his nightmares other than just fnaf 4? Why is his hat and bowtie swapped from purple to black? To all 3 of dream theorys defenders, I would like to hear from you in 3-5 business days, no more.
5th point; MCI
There is no reason to dream about murdered kids or possessed animatronics. I have scary dreams, but thats because of the internet and this story (and theory) takes place in 1983. Lets go through a couple of ways dream theory tries to justify itself.
The MCI takes place in 1982/1983!
The way this works is either one, It was reported on or two, the crying child somehow knows about it and is the only one who does. The first one doesn’t make sense because if it was a similar situation with the whole stinking up the place stuff, they were found out pretty soon after being stuffed (because… yeah.), so I don’t know why it would be different if not WORSE for the killer in the real world. The second point is also bad, because it is shown that he has no friends. You could say that its because they are dead, but if thats true why is everyone so mean to him? Why aren’t they talking about his friends and/or NOT making fun of him because he’s crying for a reasonable reason? I would be crying too if all my friends died (if I had any offline ones).
The MCI come from the plushies (+him)
I could see this with foxy’s head being ripped off, but it doesn’t appear that the rest of them are damaged beyond general plushie use. And if this is true, then why isn’t the killer depicted as the brother (foxy)? Because he is the most likely to do this to CC. Why is the killer in his dream related to bonnie and not freddy if thats the angle we’re going, because even if he is also scared of spring bonnie, we only see him being scared by fredbear. Why does he associate spring bonnie with child murder? I get associating him with springlocks because thats probably why he’s so scared of fredbears in the first place, but then why are the MCI children? Why are they hostile to employees? just-
The MCI are the bullies
This is so fucking dumb. WHY would he depict his tormentors as victims? If this is a ‘getting back at the bullies in your mind’ why is he imagining them crying and grey? Don’t fucking come at me with the chara ‘evil child’ shit, it doesn’t work there and it doesn’t work here.
666; TOY CHICA
This mf will haunt my dreams for the rest of my days because of this theory. This theory has made toy chica 10 times scarier because its so dumb it terrifies me that people ended up (albeit reluctantly) agreeing that it was canon. Toy chica losing her beak and the other toy toys are dumb. You know what it probably was? An easter egg.
But in the lore, heres how I see it. The toys were originally made by another company and sold as bootlegs. They were poorly made and bad but were popular enough for freddys to buy the animatronics out. There. Another reason they are there you all can latch onto that doesn’t cheapen the entire story and makes sense. Her and her fucking beak are not a reason to look back on the entire story fnaf had told so far and say “seems fishy”. Green spring bonnie is not a reason to springtrap. Why would he be scared of the doll and associate it with the (most likely) reason why he’s sad all the time? Actually I know why because of her fucking remark. BUT ACTUALLY if that does have a sway over how he preserves these things, why does he dream about them only attacking employees and not children at all? Pigtails girl said, to a 8-10 year old, that the animatronics come out at night to kill you, so why are they only lashing out at adults in fnaf 2? Is it only at night? if , in the ‘CC lives actually’ thing, why would he see fredbear biting him result in him coming to the conclusion that they only attack employees? The way this COULD work is by the him witnessing a springlock failure, but that doesn’t mean he magically knows about an event similar to his death, phone guy, the MCI or other really important plot points
I’m getting really tired of ranting so I will update this with more dream theory bashing in a reblog or something idk

Tumblr media
8 am
In the morning, bad news had spread through the lab causing the main group to gather up to start their game plan.
They stood in a little circle: Nancy beside Robin, right next to  Steve who stood with Dustin who was beside Lucas. Lucas was with Erika and Max while Max had Eileen and Eddie beside her. Hopper and Joyce were surrounded by their kids, Eleven, Jonathan and Will joined by, Mike, and Argyle… their group of heroes was pretty eclectic.
“Who was it who died?” Nancy asks Hop.
“Fredrick Benson, he was on the newspaper with you,” he narrows it all the way down for her. “They were keeping him in the hospital for surveillance, away from everyone else getting checked and then he left… no one saw him leave but Powell found him dead up by the steelworks building, he walked all the way there for some reason… but it confirms our suspicion that all Max’s symptoms are part of the curse and we should keep an eye on her.”
“Fuck,” Eddie mumbles under his breath.
“And another kid checked in with symptoms, but he left with some jocks before Callahan could have him transferred here for his safety… apparently Chrissy’s boyfriend thinks Eddie and Eileen are behind this, they’re out for blood.”
Eileen laughs, “he’s such a loser, let me guess, he thinks we summoned the devil to do this?”
“Yep, but he said it with a lot uglier words,” Hopper sighs, not wanting to tell her they called her unborn child the spawn of satan. “Other than the handful of die-hard Hawkins residents and the jocks, the towns empty for the most part.”
“So what do we do now? We can't keep waiting around while the doctors keep secrets from us,” Joyce complains.
“I know,” Hop agrees and quickly turns to Eddie again. “Nancy told me your ideas about Will and how the upside down works like dungeons and dragons… can you tell me more about that? I want to know as much as I can.”
“Absolutely,” Eddie agrees. “Do you guys have the timeline all laid out yet?”
Nancy and Robin nod, they got so high last night that they wrote out everything that’s ever happened in Hawkins and taped it in chronological order along the hallways on the top floor… it was pretty impressive and there was more information than anyone even knew once Nancy read everyone's notes.
“I took everything everyone wrote down, even Joyce and Hopper agreed to do it,” Nancy explains, “so I learned even more about their trip to save Will and what the Russians knew, it’s all insane…”
“And I’ll add everything I learn while watching memories with Eleven,” Jonathan adds, holding up a notebook.
“I need to know Henry’s weaknesses, his soft spots,” Eddie said, “If he is a Lich then we need to find the two pieces that his soul is connected to before we can kill him,” Eddie explains. “I’m guessing that the first half of his phylactery potion was his mother, so that part of his soul has to be something in his house close to where she died.”
“He killed a bunch of children here,” Eleven reveals. “From the few memories I’ve already re-watched, it's given me flashbacks to walking these halls and blood everywhere…”
Mike wraps an arm around her to console her, “I’m sorry.”
“If he killed people here then one of the pieces of his soul must be here too,” Eddie looks to Jonathan, “keep an eye out on the tapes for objects he comes in contact with, it’s where his soul would want to go to.”
“It’s a clock,” Max whispers. “A big wooden grandfather clock… I keep seeing it everywhere and it always chimes 4 times.”
“What if he only needs 4 victims,” Lucas suggests. “Chrissy, Fred, the other kid with nosebleeds and you…”
“The other kid's name is Patrick,” Hopper doesn’t see why he shouldn’t tell them. “He’s on the basketball team.”
“Shit,” Lucas is upset about that. “His dad beats on him… if Chrissy was having problems with Jason and Max is depressed then what was wrong with Fred?”
“He was in a car accident,” Nancy shares. “He had a nasty scar on his face from it, people say it was a hit and run but no one could prove anything.”
“From what I was reading about the mind, here they used anger and sadness to get the kid's powers to work, it stimulates the brain in a way that makes them more powerful, so what if he’s stealing people’s sadness to gain more power?” Eileen suggests. “That would mean that we need to keep Max happy…”
“Purple Palm-tree delight my dude,” Argyle takes a joint from his pocket. “One puff of this and her troubles will float away like the seed pods of a dandelion drifting in the wind…”
“she’s not doing drugs,” Eileen stares at him like he’s crazy.
“Aw,” Max complains just to piss her sister off, and it works. Eileen glares at her. “I’m kidding…”
“Nancy and Robin should be able to find out more from Victor,” Eileen reminds her. “If he was able to live through that, then he must have a secret as to how… a secret thing he did that he never realized helped save his life.”
“Speaking of, Susie and her sister should be here soon,” Dustin announces. “Once we are able to make them some fake badges we can figure out how we’re going to break him out.”
“Do we really want him here?” Steve panicked a bit, “isn’t that going to make Henry come here?”
“Not with my sigils,” Eddie attempts to calm him down. “I’ve been studying a bit, I have a few designs that I think will work, I just need to get a bunch of spray paint…

🥺 that mike lange story. But also those tags #sid loooves christmas #he loves giving presents #looks good in red #piles on the pounds fast #post hockey career as santa 😂😂👌🏽👌🏽
he loves his mementos and presents and is COMMITTED to them. scrapbooking. matching jackets. little pills with hidden motivational messages~*~ his love language is gifts and neck smooches and stalking geno. relevant right now are some anecdotes i sent a friend earlier this year for dorky sid gifts fic fodder:
1. Crosby's constant thoughtfulness would be impressive from anyone, much less someone of his stature.
"Sid always texts me happy birthday, he's always asking me like, how's Russia?" Evgeni Malkin said. "We talk and message all summer. He asks me how my skates are. He knows, like, everything. He follows my Instagram, I think (laughs)."
In addition to having a handle on those little details, Crosby is constantly providing those around him with memories and mementos. If the team is on the road and goes, say, sightseeing or to a sporting event and takes a group photo, Crosby will later send a framed copy to everyone.
When Ron Hextall and Brian Burke watched their first Penguins game in person, Crosby is the one who approached head equipment manager Dana Heinze and asked for two used game pucks to give to the new GM and president of hockey ops.
After the Penguins won in 2009, Crosby had jackets made for the three players on the team who had scored a Cup-clinching goal in Game 7: Talbot (Pittsburgh), Ruslan Fedotenko (Tampa Bay) and Mike Rupp (New Jersey).
"They were blue jackets with gold buttons, and each one had a patch on it that said 'GWG Game 7,'" Talbot said. "At one of our first team meals the next season, he presented us with the jackets and did a big ceremony with the music and stuff. We had a private room in the restaurant. I still have the jacket."
-The Consummate Teammate, Captain and Ambassador, Feb 2021
2. Merz: My first interaction with Sid was when we were on the bench, guys were talking about a teammate, and the first thing this 15-year-old says is, “Hey, guys. Let’s keep everything positive. Don’t talk about your teammates that way.”
Salcido: When we were getting ready for nationals, he found these little pills that you could put a hidden message inside. They unscrewed, and inside was a tiny scroll. He gave one to every teammate. … He had everyone fill one out. He didn’t tell anyone what to write, but he made it known that we all knew what the goal was: winning nationals. So we wrote on our scrolls, rolled them up and put them in the pill thing. We kept them with us everywhere we went.
-‘Is this real?’: Stories of Sidney Crosby’s year at a Minnesota prep school, May 2020
3. On “Butterfly Boy” Jonathan Pitre:
Though the Senators are his team, Sidney Crosby has always been Jonny’s favourite player. After the TSN documentary airs, Tina gets a call from the Penguins. Sid needs Jonny’s measurements. He wants to have a suit made for him by his personal tailor, Domenico Vacca.
“It’s the kindest, sweetest gesture,” Tina says. “Sid heard that Jonny went to a lot of games, so he wants him to look like he’s one of the guys.”
“I want him to feel like a pro,” Crosby says. “Here’s a guy who is going through something so painful, and his first thought is always, ‘How can I help others?’ When I was young, I’d watch on TV the players coming to the rink in their suits. That was a cool part of being an NHL player. I want him to feel that, to make it as real as possible for him.”
Tina tries to discreetly measure Jonny while she’s changing his dressings. But he’s way too smart for that.
“Um, Mom, why are you measuring me? Am I going for surgery again?” he asks.
“No, no!” Tina replies, trying to reassure him and come up with a good lie, all in the same breath. “The doctor needs them just to make sure they have proper dressings next time you are in.”
A few weeks later, the sharp navy blue suit shows up at their front door, along with a couple of ties, an autographed stick and a handwritten letter from Sid.
“His eyes just light up,” Tina says. “Jonny always liked to be well-dressed, and he just loves having his own suit. It fits perfectly. He looks so good in it.”
-Beauties by James Duthie (2020)
4. Pascal Dupuis inspired his Pittsburgh Penguins teammates on their run to the Stanley Cup, and Sidney Crosby found a special way of driving that message home.
Dupuis retired in December with lingering health concerns because of blood clots. Despite his NHL playing days coming to an end, the veteran forward remained an integral part of the Penguins and was in uniform to hoist the Cup after Pittsburgh's six-game win against the San Jose Sharks in the Stanley Cup Final.
On Sunday, Dupuis brought the Cup home one last time as a player to share a special day with his family, friends and hometown fans.
"Yes, it does feel bittersweet a little bit," Dupuis said. "You get the Cup, you want to celebrate. But at the same time I got a gift by the mail [Saturday]. Basically, it's a book of all the pictures of all the good stuff we went through. It came from Nova Scotia, so you guys can figure out who it came from (Crosby), but he couldn't give it to me during the season, he saw me skating a little bit.
"And he sent it [Saturday], before my day with the Cup, so he knew what he was doing to get me right here," Dupuis said, putting his fist over his heart.
-Pascal Dupuis shares Stanley Cup with family, friends, Aug 2016
5. In 2011, Crosby was out of the lineup with a concussion, and the Penguins made their annual visit to Children’s Hospital.
Crosby got along so well with one boy there and was so touched that he later asked Bullano to go back... just the two of them, no cameras, no attention.
When Bullano and Crosby met for the follow-up visit, Crosby appeared clutching a pair of Toys “R” Us bags, filled with a Transformer toy the two had discussed.
“He literally bought every type of this toy they make,” Bullano said. “[Crosby] had never seen it before and thought it was so cool.
“There are no pictures of this. There’s no video. He was laying in the bed with the kid. They were just playing. We were there for over two hours. I got to know the mom really well because we were just sitting there.
“The kid had no idea. Didn’t expect it. They had no idea he was coming. We got there and he said, ‘Hey buddy. hope you don’t mind that I came back.’ The kid couldn’t believe it.
“[Crosby’s] crazy cool about stuff like that.”
What’s crazy is trying to recount the many times stuff like this has happened with Crosby:
• The Little Penguins Learn to Play program has been around for nine seasons, outfitting now 1,200 kids with free head-to-toe hockey equipment. Not only does Crosby serve as the face of the program — which the NHL has now adopted — but he helps fund it, too.
“There’s an awareness of what a person in his position can bring,” Penguins vice president of communications Tom McMillan said. “I think he activates that as much as anybody I’ve seen during his playing career.”
• After a recent practice, Crosby noticed a local family in the Penguins dressing room, approached them, introduced himself, learned their story and wound up giving them a signed stick.
Nobody asked Crosby to do that, and he wanted zero credit when discussing it a couple days later.
“For people who have the opportunity to come in here, people dealing with certain things, if you can brighten their day a bit or spend some time with them, it’s something that’s special for all of us,” Crosby said.
• A few years ago, through a team charity event, Crosby befriended a 4-year-old Amish boy with cancer. Crosby remarked to Bullano how much he loved talking to the boy because of how engaging the boy was and how he wasn’t consumed with technology. Crosby even tried to visit the boy but learned he had passed away.
• He learns the first and last names of the kids who attend his hockey school in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
“Two kids came from Japan its first year,” Bullano recalled. “He was so blown away by that. He couldn’t wait to meet them.”
• Earlier this season, the Penguins welcomed Grant Chupinka, 24-year-old cancer patient, into the dressing room. Crosby chatted up Grant and his parents, Steve and Kim.
He spent his usual time — about two or three times the requirement. Gave the tour. Then found out the Chupinkas didn’t have tickets for that night’s game and decided he would pay for them to go.
“I’m sure he could just give them an autographed puck or something, but he takes his time to go out and see them and talk to them and get to know them,” Brian Dumoulin said. “It speaks volumes for him and who he is as a person.”
Spend any length of time with Crosby during his visits with those less fortunate, and a few things become obvious.
One, Crosby is really good at these. Smooth but not in a slimy way. Sweet. You know how when you’re around someone talking and they go out of their way to make eye contact with everyone around? That’s Crosby.
He’s also humble, always introducing himself like those he’s meeting don’t already know. Holding a hand is no issue. And Crosby is the rare 20-something pro athlete without kids who acts every bit like he does.
“It is not an easy situation to talk to someone with terminal cancer,” McMillan said. “A lot of people couldn’t do that. He has an amazing ability to do that and make that person feel good.”
Crosby has welcomed several Make-a-Wish kids and tries, if at all possible, to schedule such events for practice days — to maximize the time he’s able to spend.
He’s developed a special friendship with Patrick McIlvain, a soldier who nearly died when he took a bullet to the head in Afghanistan. McIlvain actually does physical therapy with one of Crosby’s sticks.
A former club hockey player at Cal U, McIlvain comes by every year, and the Penguins don’t even bother to tell Crosby. Either he already knows or immediately stops what he’s doing to come say hello.
“He’s not doing it to leave a legacy,” said Terry Kalna, Penguins vice president of sales and broadcasting. “His numbers leave the legacy. He’s just a down-to-Earth, good guy.”
Before a visit, Crosby has Bullano email him what is essentially a scouting report on who he’s going to meet. He likes to learn about them, their situation and what they’ve been through. As much information as he can ingest. Crosby never just swoops in, shake a hand and leave.
“As much as anyone has ever seen, he accepts the responsibilities of being not just a professional athlete but a star professional athlete,” McMillan said. “He views it as part of the job. Like coming to the morning skate. That’s just what you do.”
Put another way, “he owns those moments,” says Kalna.
Said Bullano, “He’s just a good human being.”
-When it comes to giving, Sidney Crosby does as much as he can, Feb 2017
6. When Crosby received a generous signing bonus on his Reebok deal, he wanted to share it with everyone.
“He gave everyone on the bus gifts,”  says Oceanic radio commentator Michel Germain. “Him sharing his bonus with all the people he’d been travelling with for two years, that impresses me greatly. I think the most important thing about Sidney Crosby is his personality and the kind of human being he is. What he exuded. The inner richness he’d already developed.”
-Superstitious and generous, Dec 2006
7. also this simply because it makes me ;w;
Even in defeat — no, especially in defeat — Sidney Crosby proved why he wears the "C" for the Penguins.
After the game, with his heart sinking and his season over, the Penguins’ captain bent over, sank to the ice to pick up the puck, took it to linesman Tony Sericolo and then skated to his team’s handshake line.
I immediately thought of a View from Ice Level I’d written on Crosby making sure a retiring official was sent away from PPG Paints Arena properly. I knew picking up the puck wasn’t for the same reason that was, but I also knew, in some way, it was connected to Crosby’s awareness and respect of the game.
“It was for the Islanders,” Crosby told me after the game, his eyes swollen from a first round exit – by way of a sweep to make it worse. He told me how the winning team always wanted the puck, and it was his way of providing it for the Islanders.
Crosby looked me right in the eye as he told me this, just as he did with every other member of the media to come to him after the loss.
I could tell from those swollen eyes and the way he sat at his stall, by himself with his hands folded as he stared blankly, that Sidney Crosby is much more used to being on the receiving end of a puck when a series ends than he is at retrieving it for the winning team.
That scene. His swollen eyes. Staying in the locker room until most had left – talking to anyone who needed him. Most of all, though, picking up the puck that prompted my question in the first place and making sure the right people got their piece of their own history.
It all adds up to one thing: In victory and in defeat, Crosby respects the game above all else – just as he’s always done.
-Even in defeat, Crosby shines, April 2019

Dreams, Chapter 19
If you haven’t read this series before, you might want to start on Chapter 1, or check out the Dreams Masterlist! Here’s the series description:
When Dean dies for good leaving Sam and his girlfriend (the reader) behind, they must figure out how to carry on without him. Alone, reeling, and unsure what to do next, trying to honor Dean’s memory and follow their hearts gets even more complicated when their nightmares become dreams that feel a little too real.
Title: Dreams, Chapter 19
Pairing: (past) Dean Winchester x Reader, (eventual) Sam Winchester x Reader
Word Count: 4274
Summary: Life settles into routine as summer comes in Wisconsin.
Warnings: FLUFF, swearing, some smut
Tumblr media
You’d never been so aware of the date after that, somehow feeling like you’d reset your circadian rhythm to know precisely how long two weeks was. Mercifully on the part of the universe, Dean had been right about the lack of reset function as long as you stayed within the same mind; once, just to try, you had entered Sam’s dream and found that Sam Barbie and Sam Mike hadn’t met Dean yet.
At Dean’s request Sam put a huge amount of effort toward ‘being normal,’ integrating into the community in a more purposeful way. You became friendly with a couple cheerful hairdressers from the salon in the next town over when they started coming to the bar for after work drinks and Sam began getting invited to the poker games Steve hosted. One of your favorite of these new habits was going to the farmer’s market dutifully every week. It reminded you every time of how simple this new life was, where you had spare mental capacity to think about whether you wanted nectarines or peaches because there was no terror dangling just overhead. It also helped distract you from all-consuming thoughts of seeing Dean on alternate Sunday nights, the way your body felt like it vibrated with anticipation for the few days before.
The two of you had been going for months by the first market in July, long enough to know all the first names of the regular vendors and greet them as you went. You were feeling somehow even more acutely anxious-excited at the upcoming Sunday, Dean having told you both last time that he had a surprise planned. It encouraged you to give more of a concerted effort to linger at every single booth, extend every single moment of killed time you could get from the outing. Sam let you lead the way, ring and pinky finger loosely linked into yours as you walked up and down the aisles of tents and tables in the overgrown gravel parking lot. He had a canvas bag half-filled with beets, green beans, some local honey, and a small carton of apricots. You paused to lean into his chest, waiting for Sam to bend down and kiss you in front of a table of essential oils decorated with macrame. The next one caught your eye, some hand-hewn jewelry, and you pulled him gently along.
“What do you think?” you asked, holding up some earrings clearly too gaudy to match your style with an exaggeratedly fashionable face.
“I think those really capture your essence, yeah,” Sam smiled.
“Or maybe this?” You slipped your hand into a heavy bangle absolutely covered in turquoise that felt like wearing an ankle weight.
He hitched the bag up on his shoulder and watched the show you put on for him, sweeping some hair back from your neck to let you see a set of earrings in the tiny mirror on the table. His gaze flicked over the wares and he gingerly picked up a small gold band from a tray. It was probably the most understated piece on the table, and definitely the one most likely to fit with the no-nonsense jewelry you tended to wear—the things you were drawn to being more sentimental reminders than ostentatious presentation, intended to be put on once and never taken off.
“I think this one looks the most like you,” Sam hummed, offering it up for you to try on. The band was medium-thick with rounded comfort edges and when you slipped it on it fit perfectly, just barely tight enough to feel exactly secure on your finger. He was right; it looked good on your hand like you had re-found an old piece that you’d lost, and you considered it for a second before you realized Sam was talking to the woman behind the table as she finished a transaction with a trio of teenaged girls getting matching woven bracelets.
“That one’s part of a set,” she cooed over to him, her hands resting in a homemade apron covered in embroidered flowers. “They should really go to the same home.”
You were impressed at Sam’s ability to keep himself from rolling his eyes at that kind of faux sentimental bullshit, but she had already turned her back to you, rifling in another box under the plastic table. She turned around with a larger copy of the ring and darted out, grabbing Sam’s hand quickly enough that he almost stumbled forward as she started to slip it onto his finger.
“Oh, I don’t really wear jewelr—” he started helplessly.
“See? Meant to be, it fits perfectly.” She clasped her hands in front of her chin excitedly, beaming over the table at you and Sam. You had to bite your lip to keep from laughing at the expression on his face as he tried inconspicuously to get the ring off.
“Um—wow, that’s really on there—how much for that one?” Sam asked, awkwardly pointing to the ring on your finger with his pinky as he kept working to try to get his off.
“$50 for the both of them.”
“Even the one has gotta be more than that,” he insisted, based on the displayed prices of the gaudy jewelry you’d played around with.
“I’d feel better knowing they were being appreciated together than I would with the money.”
You looked up at Sam with the kind of melting cotton candy look you felt like had been plastered to your face for weeks, soft and gooey and something you would’ve made fun of a stranger for. He abandoned trying to get the ring off and tongued a molar before pulling out his wallet and dropping 5 $20 bills on the table, pushing them across with the customer service smile he used at the bar. “Thank you, they’re, uh, they’re beautiful.”
She only unclasped her hands to stuff the bills in the apron, mouthing a “thank you” at the extra money and winking at Sam as the two of you walked away from the booth.
“Should we get you a big chain? Or I could pierce your ears with an ice cube and an apple back at the cabin,” you teased, getting used to the way the ring felt on your hand.
Sam couldn’t keep from rolling his eyes over a smirk. “I really can’t get it off.”
“I think maybe you just wanted to match me.”
He stopped walking and you spun around to face him, gazing up into his hazel eyes. “Matching you isn’t so bad.”
“Oh yeah?” You watched as a slow smirk spread across his face and he looked down at his feet between you. “Thank you, by the way. I really love it.”
“Just think you, um, deserve nice things.” A little color rose in his cheeks, and there was something so unbelievably sweet about it, being shy with you of all people. You had to press up to your tiptoes and pull Sam’s neck down to kiss him, but it was perfect, the light northern chill that sometimes drifted through the air even in July reminding you of your first kiss on that sledding hill except now it was your hand on Sam’s neck, blood seeping warm and loose through every capillary rather than the cold throb of anxiety you’d had then. With his lips on yours, delicate metal on your finger, and the earthy smell of the fresh produce in the air, you tried to commit to memory how unequivocally good the moment was, how completely outside the realm of possibility this would’ve seemed a year ago. Sam’s hand slipped to your lower back and pressed you to him. “Wanna get out of here?” he murmured into your ear, and it was all you could do not to jump him right there as you wound your fingers in his and wove through the booths to get back to the Impala.
Tumblr media
“Baby—you’ve gotta—fuck, I’m driving,” Sam laugh-moaned, shifting his hips just a little up into the hand you danced along the fly of his jeans.
You leaned across the bench seat and licked the faintest trail up his jugular vein. “Then pull over.”
His eyes closed deeply for a beat and hard swallow as he took a deep breath and took a right turn into what was likely a private driveway. It was a calculated move; probably not visible from the rural highway but if the people living here—the place sure to be occupied on a July weekend even if it wasn’t year-round—decided to leave they’d catch an eyeful of graphic roadblock. Knowing he was willing to take the risk made your heart race even faster, and Sam had barely thrown the car into park before he was on top of you, hand in your hair and tugging back roughly to bite-suck at your neck so hard and delicious you gasped before even realizing.
He grinned into your skin as he kissed you. “Gonna—tease me—like—that? After looking so good—being so sweet—all morning?” You slid your hands in his hair and pulled back, crashing into his mouth and tasting the honey he’d sampled with you at the farmer’s market. You hooked your leg around his hips and rolled up into him, almost salivating at the firm length of him against you and the friction of the denim. He pressed you flat to the bench seat and started working the buttons of your shirt, so lightning-fast he ripped one of the last ones clean off, sending it skittering across the dashboard as it flew. “Sorry,” he smiled as you bit his lip, not looking very sorry at all.
When your top was finally open Sam tugged at your bra, bypassing the clasp altogether in favor of exposing your nipples above it, somehow grazing his teeth and breathing cool air over them at once to send goosebumps flushing all over your body. You tried to undo the buttons of his shirt somewhat unsuccessfully for a moment before Sam leaned back and yanked at the back of his collar, tossing it in the backseat without looking as you flicked open his belt buckle and jeans. You grabbed either side of the open belt and tugged, making Sam’s chest press against yours and giggling into his lips at his tiny “oof,” when he fell forward onto the seat, throwing his arm out to avoid landing on you with his full weight.
With his torso against yours, he kissed you like he was gorging himself on candy; hungry and playful as you pushed and pulled against each other until you guided his cock out of his boxers and circled the tip with your thumb. Sam whimpered softly, just once and softly enough you might’ve thought it was a sharp inhale, but the broken concentration was enough for you to catch him off guard and shove him back on the seat across from you. He stretched back against the leather and door, pleasantly surprised behind widened pupils as you quickly got out of your shirt/bra tangle and kicked off your boots. It could’ve been some kind of pseudo-pornographic ad, Sam with tousled hair and undone jeans up against the door of the Impala, taut skin and muscles of his abs on full display as his arms spanned an impossible amount of the windowsill and seatback. If you’d had the self-restraint, you might’ve taken an extra second to soak it in, but as it was you pounced on him the moment the fabric of your clothes left your hands, slipping your fingers under his waistband enough to expose his cock and immediately sliding it into your mouth, hands still working to get him further out of his jeans.
Anyone else making the sound he did would never have had the same effect, but the gravelly moan your tongue forced out of him dissolved you into jello and you wanted nothing more than to hear it again. Rhythmically working the spit-slick between your mouth and hands, you dragged your head up to look Sam in the eyes, heavy tip of him weighing down your bottom lip as you spoke. “Hold my hair?”
Sam’s eyes went fuzzy and dark as his eyebrows raised into a dazed smile, gathering your hair in a huge palm and making that amazing noise again as you slid all the way down him, nose grazing the dark hair on Sam’s abdomen. After a few minutes his hips bucked a little under you, Sam beginning to writhe on the leather. “Fuck, that feels so goo—hold on, wait,” Sam stammered with sex-frayed vocal cords, using your hair to tug you to his mouth and suck your tongue. The sensation stunned you for a moment but you could’ve stayed there forever, held up in his palm and flayed open for Sam to take.
He trailed down your jaw and pulled firm when you tried to turn into his kiss. “Out of your jeans. Now.” You could feel the smirk against you and immediately started shimmying them off, loving this new edge to Sam, able to fully appreciate the grit knowing how soft he would be if you showed even the slightest hesitation. When you’d gotten the denim about halfway down your thighs he put a strong hand on your hip and flipped you over in the seat, your cheek flush against the glass of the window where he draped over your back like a predator. “Don’t. Move.”
The shudder was involuntary but it was covered by Sam practically ripping the jeans the rest of the way off your legs and subsequent hoisting your hips into the air as he shifted your knees up to the leather, your chest pressed against the door of the Impala as you looked back at him. You didn’t have any warning when Sam slipped his tongue inside you, shooting your arm out to grab for anything to stabilize yourself and ending up with a handful of seatbelt. Your calf curled up as he worked those sensitive nerves, swirling a thumb into your clit as he went. Sam locked the freed ankle with an iron grip. “I said don’t move.”
You whimpered and whispered dirty nothings you wouldn’t have been able to remember with a gun to your head until he smacked your ass hard enough you knew there’d be a red facsimile of his hand on you, and then you completely fell apart, shuddering and melting into the door. Sam crawled up behind you, chest flush to your back, and bit your earlobe. “I. Said. Don’t. Move.” You could hear the playful challenge in it and that made you even more crazy for him, wiggling under his weight a little involuntarily. He didn’t make you wait too long, pushing into you until his thighs pressed to yours, holding you in place so you couldn’t squirm forward.
“Holy shit, Sam,” you breathed. You could feel your muscles flex and relax experimentally around him.
His tongue flicked around your ear as he pounded into you. “You’re so fucking hot, baby—can’t believe you’re my girl. Are you my girl?”
The sounds you made were vaguely affirmative but to be honest, Sam’s rocking into you was pretty effectively scrubbing your mind clean of coherent thought.
“Tell me. Say my name,” Sam murmured, voice low with sin against your spine.
“I’m your girl, Sam—your girl, I’m your girl Sam, I—holy shit—” you moaned as he picked up the pace and circled a sucked-wet finger around your clit and then you hit that sweet, sticky spasm, hand splaying out wide on the window. Sam covered it with his, interlacing long fingers into yours and something about the way the metal of the two new rings clinked against each other was so tender even as you were being rammed into the door. A couple moments later he drew back with a tense groan, dressing your lower back with hot spurts of himself while his breath started to return with ragged shudders.
“Jesus,” he sighed as he eased off of you, suddenly gentle again. “Oh—uh, here, sorry.” Sam extended a veined arm over the front seat to snatch his shirt from where it had landed and gently wiped off your back. You let the cool glass settle your racing heartbeat for a beat before sliding back to the seat and the small pile of clothes Sam had retrieved for you. It made you smirk a little to watch Sam’s internal struggle over what to do with the dirty shirt, deciding to toss it on the floor before refastening his belt shirtless like he was in some Country Hotties calendar—Mr. July indeed.
You opted not to tie your boots as you’d only be walking from the car to the door and looked over at Sam once your feet were inside the loose laces. He opened and closed his mouth but couldn’t come up with any words, smoothing his hair nervously back into place and chuckling against a bitten lip.
“Yeah, I agree,” you giggled, leaning over to kiss his cheek before lacing your fingers together. “Do you want anything specific for dinner? We have a bunch of chickpeas, I thought maybe we could try making our own falafel.”
He gazed back at you for a reverent second before turning the key in the Impala’s ignition. “I love you,” he smiled, throwing an arm over the back of your seat to reverse out of the woods.
Tracing the angles of his face in the sunlight as he drove, you picked your joined hands up to kiss his knuckles. “I love you too.”
After a few minutes of endorphin-filled silence, Sam turned to you. “So do you know what this surprise is Dean has planned for tomorrow night? I figured he’d have to tell you what it was going to be if you’re the one whose head it’ll be in.”
“No clue. I thought at first maybe it was like, the Grand Canyon or something but ran into the same issue. Unless Cas’s taught him some new trick, he’s only ever been able to pull up places or things I already know—pick my brain for it, or whatever.”
           “Yeah, me too.”
The air in the car held the content pensiveness for a few minutes of sunny road. There was no real heat behind it, just like there was no real heat in choosing between different rattan baskets of produce at the farmer’s market, and that same appreciation of the serenity itself washed over you. A surprise was just a surprise, not a potential threat, a date with Dean was just a date with Dean, no longer a finite, losable resource that had to be clawed at and fought for. You didn’t miss the heat. There was more than enough warmth in the sun streaming through the windows and Sam’s palm in yours.
As it did frequently, Dean’s face in your driveway flashed in your mind, the memory somehow simultaneously old-picture washed out yet vibrant—could dreams even be memories? aren’t all memories dreams, in a way?—collar of his jacket flicked up against the cold as he said “you have to get good with this,” the flit of tongue you could see as he shaped ‘th’ enough to shape a painting class around, send a dozen art students into psychosis for inability to capture it. It had been so hard to figure out how the fuck he expected you to, how cruel it felt for him to ask it, and the only way you’d gotten your head around it was that same Dean Winchester Denial & Self Sacrifice Special and accepted it at face value. When he’d died you hadn’t felt like so many movies and books about tragic loss, where the strong but sensitive woman you’re supposed to relate to spent a few months in poetic sadness growing waifish and crying picturesque tears in solitude until she realized she could carry on.
           You couldn’t carry on.
You couldn’t carry anything—were dragging yourself along in the most generous of descriptions, some half-dead, half-smashed zombie version of yourself clinging to any will to live like a barnacle out of devotion and need for Sam. Getting Dean back felt like life raft thrown into the water. You really had wanted to spend the rest of your life asleep and were more than content to ingest as much dream root as it would take to decompose into the cabin’s mattress next to Sam, let your landlord find your skeletonized bodies after a few months of unpaid rent. Fuck him, kind as he’d been to two strangers who’d needed help, and fuck hunters’ funerals for you and Sam if it meant you didn’t have to keep drowning.  Fuck Dean’s wishes especially, let him bend to someone else’s will for once.
At first, maybe the first month after the dream root, only logistical reasons kept you from following through. What you wanted—needed, would’ve ruined the world for—was Sam and Dean together, and you couldn’t find a way to get Sam to agree no matter how obliquely or obviously you asked. He was unbelievably patient with you during this period of near-psychosis, and you suspected that a lot of the new habits he constructed, maybe including your beloved farmer’s market, were designed to keep you away from the greenhouse for as many hours a day as possible. You knew what he was doing, but the bright glare of panic in his eyes whenever you ‘joked’ about growing bigger patches of those little white flowers slowed down your singular focus enough to humor him, telling yourself it was just stalling until you could make your move.
But damn if it hadn’t worked. Not that it stopped that tick-tick-tick in your brain counting down to Dean, but it made the days bearable. Just bearable, at first, the newness of your surroundings and the newness of Sam, all the things you hadn’t known about him after years of sitting inches away from each other in the Impala. And then it stopped being so much about fuck you Dean fuck getting good with you being gone and a little more about getting good with the way Sam’s hair dried if he went to bed right after showering, floppy, glossy loops and easy curls at the base of his neck; getting good with racing him down the rickety pier on the cabin’s shoreline, knowing he was letting you win and squealing all the way down anyway, jumping into the lake at dusk on Memorial Day with all your clothes on together as Sam cannonballed in behind you. Getting good with Sam’s arms around you as you both shuddered in the water, shrieking with laughter and a smile on his face of genuine, unbridled joy. Getting good with waiting for every other Sunday, because sometimes waiting was Sam bringing you a root beer float in your favorite mug while you read, and sometimes it was feeling him fall asleep against you while you scratched his back.
Then getting good with the way it became less taboo to talk about him, being able to casually repeat old jokes of Dean’s without feeling like you were being stabbed in the chest or being terrified of sending Sam into a spiral. Getting good with memories of your old life together, your old friends, truly able to appreciate them. Because Dean was right, you had been ‘upset because you wanted something that didn’t exist.’ You could stay upset about it, stay so fucking mad about the unfairness of it all, that after all Dean had done—for you, for the world—that he was fucking gone, didn’t get to live in a cabin or have a couple daughters to braid Uncle Sammy’s hair—God, Dean saying that had haunted you maybe more than anything—and let it necrotize you from the inside out. Or you could let the ways he had permeated your very being serve as more commemoration than most people ever dream of, appreciate that the Impala still felt like an extension of him, see glimmers of the way he and Sam were still connected every day.
And, of course, visit him at night to take the edge off, love him and kiss him and scream until you laughed. Annoying as it was to admit it, all that getting good slowly let you see what he’d been trying to open your eyes to in that driveway. You had so much more than anyone in the world. How stupid, how greedy, to have all of that and cut yourself off from anything else because it wasn’t exactly the way you wanted it to be. Looking back at it felt like watching a home video of yourself as a kid throwing a tantrum, but for ages, and you almost couldn’t believe Sam had stuck right by your side through it all, guided you gently and patiently even through his own battle. Sweet, beautiful, loyal Sam.
As if on cue, he looked over at you. The sun poured through the windshield and shone off his hair like a halo, sparkled like glitter in his eyes. Someone who’d had a normal life would’ve said he looked angelic. But you had so much more than that, got to see both that golden hour was giving you a bit of a heavy-handed metaphor and that Sam was not only more than angelic, he was the whole world. He was the life raft all along, Dean’s Herculean return to you the lighthouse that let you see what had been there from the start, what had never left. His fingers tightened around yours a fraction. “Thanks for coming with me today.”
The smile splitting your face felt like the first delicious stretch after sleeping in on a rainy morning. “Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere without you.”

Phasmophobia with the Bakusquad
Characters: Y/n, Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, Sero Hanta, Mina Ashido
(a/n: since Phasmophobia has a limit of 4 players max, i decided to make them play a modded version of it that allows them to play with 30+ players so that no one would get left out.)
Tumblr media
You were getting impatient. A few days ago you invited the Bakusquad to come over and stay for a few days since all of you were having a vacation and you overheard them talking about getting bored or there's nothing to do in their place. Your door bell rang, snapping you out of your thoughts. You groaned as you stood up to open the door "Ugh finally y'all are here" You said as you swinged the door open. "It's pinky's fault for bringing too much stuff and not knowing where and how to place them!" Bakugo shouted, glaring at Mina. "Hey now, it's better late than never! Right, Y/n?" Kirishima beamed.
You sighed "I guess you're right. Well, come in and make yourselves at hom-" You were cut off by Mina hugging you and slightly jumping "Thank you so much Y/n!!" Mina said, tightening the hug.
"GROUP HUG!!" Denki shouted as he joined you and Mina "DON'T LEAVE US OUT!" Eijiro said joining them along with Sero. "K..katsuki join us.." You struggled to get your words out, clearly because you were getting squished by 4 people at the same time. "Tch don't wanna, you look like you're gonna suffocate even more if i joined." Katsuki said, making the 4 friends flinch and let go of you. "SORRY Y/N!" They said all together, bowing their heads. "Haha.. ha.. it's fine. I just-" "You all better not do that again, they look like they're about to pass out." Katsuki sternly said before you could finish your sentence.
You sighed, 'It's gonna be a long day.' you said to yourself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Woah, the day went by pretty fast. It's already evening and all of you were planning on playing a few more games before going to bed. You, Sero and Denki were thinking about what game you should play, then you clapped your hands "I know! We should play Phasmophobia!" You said, grinning "Good idea, Y/n!" Eijiro exclaimed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It took quite a few minutes for you all to get in the same lobby as Katsuki earlier, kept getting into random lobbies and getting the others to join him.
"Y'all busters ready up." you said in a sheriff voice "WOAH HAHAHAHA Y/N! Can you talk like that this whole round?! Pleaaaaseeee?" Mina begged with puppy eyes "Sure thing buster, ain't no party poopers allowed 'round these parts" you said still in a sheriff voice, making all of them laugh, even Katsuki.
"Alright we're here, you all know the name of the ghost?" you asked "What happened to you saying that you'll use your sheriff voice while playing?" Sero questioned "Bleh, can't. My throat kinda hurts from it." you replied "Wait a damn minute, DID Y'ALL ENTER THE HOUSE ALREADY?" you asked frowning "Heck yeah we're in the house" Denki replied "AIGHT. What's the name of the ghost again? Robert.. Robert Williams! Okay okay. Remember his name Sero." "Got it." Sero said grinning
It's been a few minutes and all of you were still searching where the ghost is, until the lights went out. "Uh.. the lights are down. Dammit." Katsuki mumbled "Okay- just stick together and we should be fine." Eijiro said "Mmm i'm not too sure about that Eiji-" you all heard a loud thump, stopping Mina from saying what she would say. "Oh look a teddy bear" Denki said as he picked it up "DENKI. PUT. THAT. DOWN." You raised your voice at him "Why? Are y'all scared of this teddy bear?" Denki laughed, still not letting go of the stuffed animal
"Aight whatever, don't blame us if you die first" Katsuki groaned. "OH SHIT IT'S FREEZING IN HERE" Sero shouted "OUR FLASHLIGHTS ARE FLICKERING- IT'S HUNTING! HIDE-" Mina was cut off by you staring at a dead body as your flashlights stopped flickering "Heh, howdy there partner" you said in a sheriff voice before bursting out laughing with the 5 of them. "OH HECK HAHAHA DENKI DIED FIRST!" Eijiro said laughing hardly, tearing up
You were laughing out loud. Sero was on the ground, wheezing uncontrollably with Mina, Katsuki was hitting a pillow while snickering, Eijiro was laughing at Denki who was hitting the floor and holding his side "STOP IM GONNA DIE TWICE FROM LAUGHTER MY SIDE FUCKING HURTS" Denki begged making all of you laugh, wheeze, hit random stuff even more
"OKAY OKAY, let's get out of here first before more of us dies and joins Denki in the afterlife" you said giggling, moving your character in a safe place, the others followed.
Right at the moment when you thought the laughter finally dies down, Sero looks at the computer screen and bursts out laughing "HAHAHA LOOK AT THE- *SNIFFLE* COMPUTER.. HAHA- SCREEN!" He said trying to contain his laughter
All of you were dying from laughter again because the computer screen ingame shows Denki's dead body spazzing out of a wall
This was the best vacation you could ever ask for.
(a/n: Okay i myself, is dying just by writing this.)
(a/n: i also forgot to mention that this was inspired by Kubz Scouts, Laurenzside, Bijuu Mike and Razzbowski's Phasmophobia video, please do check it out. I had a lot of fun watching that)

Hfhhfhdhhfhf thank you- my fnaf AU is kinda a big comfort to me so ty for letting me talk about it (though i didn't say that before so you wouldn't feel pressured)
So quickest rundown I can give, TW for canon typical content as well as discussion of abuse and trauma
The story starts around nineteen seventy something when William and Henry start Fredbear's Family Diner. It's just a nice restaurant- think Chuck E Cheese's Pizza Time Theater from the late 70s- until William up and fucking murders Charlie out of literally nowhere because he's obsessed and jealous of Henry and wants to control Henry's life.
Her death happens in March a month before Elizabeth's, and she was buried in the woods, having bled to death in the alley after being stabbed in the back. (Get it?)
When Charlie's soul possesses The Puppet William's like HOLY SHIT IT'S ALIVE??? I GOTTA REPLICATE THESE RESULTS AND FIGURE IT OUT because he's William. In comes the Funtimes.
When Elizabeth died, William was upset at first, mostly annoyed with Elizabeth for disobeying even though he totally set the situation up by manipulating and lying to her that Baby was for her, but he covered up the event of her disappearance, and stopped caring that she had died when he found out she was possessing Baby.
I'm not gonna bore you with talking about his remnanty shit u know what he was doing
Cassidy, 8 years old and soon to turn 9, had witnessed Elizabeth's death, and in the wake of their loss, he and Michael both fell into awful spirals. Cassidy became a terrified wreck, scared to death of animatronics and of William. Michael became a massive bully with anger issues, taking out his pent up anger on Cassidy by bullying and terrorizing him, leading to the bite.
After the bite, Michael's whole angry teen facade fell apart and he became a broken husk of himself. His obsessive grief spiral and guilt was only worsened by an incident after the diner's temporary closure post-bite, where William brought Michael in and Fredbear attempted to brutally attack Mike.
This confirmed to William that Cassidy was possessing it, and that discovery led to the MCI.
In January of '84, Michael met a classmate named Jeremy Fitzgerald, who he later ended up dating until the bite. Jeremy's younger stepsister Susie Miller had been a short lived friend of Elizabeth's, from Charlie's death to Lizzie's own. Susie was 9 and a half in June when her puppy, Buddy, was run over by William's truck and buried in the backyard of the Miller residence. William straight up stole the dog corpse and put it into Toy Foxy- the next day, Susie was lured away and killed.
Next were 5 and 7 year old Jeremy Young and Gabriel Lowe. Jeremy had recently been adopted by a young couple ecstatic to have a child who practically spoiled him rotten; he was about as happy and innocent as a child can be. Gabriel, from a big family, was more timid and cautious, but unfortunately easily swayed by his surrogate brother Jeremy's optimism. They disappeared in January of 1985.
And finally was Mitzi Oliveira- Fritz, technically, but she used either. Mitzi had been a friend of Cassidy, though she never got along with Elizabeth. Mitzi was one of Charlie's many friends. Mitzi had been there to chill with Susie while she waited for Elizabeth to come back and play with her and her new puppy. Mitzi had battled Gabriel in many a video game match, chased little Jeremy around the pizzeria in sugar high induced spontaneous tag games she never held back from winning even though she was twice his age. And Mitzi was now seeing her dear friends' faces on missing posters all over town. Distressed and unsure of what to make of it, Wiliam lured her away promising to reunite her with her friends. Her mangled corpse was forced into the Foxy animatronic.
Aside from Cassidy, who was already alive and in full control, Charlie was the one to "give life" to the others and wake them up. While Jeremy is just scared and confused, only following the others because he wants to go home, the rest are all vengeful and angry.
Though, Susie's anger quells quite a bit in 1987 when she's reunited with her beloved puppy Buddy in the form of The Mangle.
Speaking of Buddy, he was never fully trained. He always had a bit of a biting problem.
Especially with Jeremy (though Jeremy didn't mind much.)
Hmm.
No I'm kidding it was Toy Chica who bit Jeremy.
Also around that time, the longest serving employee of Fazbear Entertainment, Scott Leskowitz (AKA Phone Guy), as well as the only one aside from William who knew about the missing children, was killed by Golden Freddy and inhabited the form of Shadow Bonnie. Fun fact, Scott had schizophrenia which made it very easy for William to gaslight Scott into keeping his mouth shut about what he knew. Now as Shadow Bonnie, Scott took on the alias of RWQFSFASXC or RWQ, and basically became a father/older brother figure to Cassidy mainly, but he cared about all of them. This helped the children to eventually let go of their anger. Cassidy especially needed that as it allowed him to forgive Michael to an extent.
Ok speeding up basically now here's 1990 after another 3 years of just, idk, crashing on his friend Bee's couch or smn /j Michael finds Circus Baby's rental opening and gets a job there. Using his grief from the loss of his sister Baby through Ennard manipulates and breaks down Michael so he won't resist the scooper and they can kill him and wear his flesh to escape.
Unsure of what to do, Michael returns to the main pizzeria to try and look for clues on how he can even start finding and stopping William, when he comes across Charlie, in The Puppet. In life, she had seen Mike as a big brother, and while she knows Cassidy's view on him she wholly believes he isn't a bad person and William is the problem, so she begins aiding Michael in his goals. God knows he needs someone- anyone- to be with him. His connection to Charlie puts him in a central place to reach the other dead kids, on a more... spiritual? Interpersonal? Level. Basically instead of therapy he has traumatized children. He's even able to begin to reconcile with Cassidy, and starts to pursue Ennard's whereabouts to get those souls as well.
But the fact remains that these children are suffering, and Michael had to let them go. So he and Charlie plan the destruction of everyone but Michael, with the Fazbear's Fright fire.
Oh yeah, also, um, William is Springtrap. That's a thing.
Anyways, Charlie decides to pull a fast one and get out of the fire and run away. William also manages to do this. Michael's depressed ass almost considers NOT doing this, but he can't rest until William is gone and his loved ones are free. So he continues.
It's here that he meets Caleb, and reunites with Henry. In her sudden isolation Charlie has started to go off the deep end a bit, so she's now contained inside Lefty. Caleb had accidentally aided William, unknowing of his ulterior motive. Michael at this point is at the full conclusion of his development; he accepts Caleb's good intentions despite his past and a relationship develops between them. Caleb is angry and hurt when he learns Michael is planning to sacrifice himself, but Michael insists it's how it has to be, and in the end, he leaves for work the day of the fire without telling Caleb, leaving him with a voice recording (taking after Henry) and Helpy, so Caleb will always have a memoir of Michael with him.
Caleb actually becomes a designer for Fazbear Entertainment because he associates it with Michael, and designs Glamrock Helpy as a little helper mascot. Cute tidbit.
Uhhhh I can explain SB later but this is insanely long already lol
MICHAEL AND THE MECHANIC <3<3<3<3<3<3
And I love the small backstories on the missing children, my babies 😭
And love how at the end even though Michael canonically could very well be dead, and he later possesses Glamrock Freddy in your AU, I was still just like “NOOOOOO-“ when I read about him sacrificing himself and leaving Helpy for Caleb to remember him

Hunger Games AU
kinda
thank you so much to @bitchiaintanonymous for helping me with this!!! she wrote all the descriptions of the districts and she helped me figuring out stuff for the characters!
also i wasn’t supposed to make morris’ moodboard, but i didn’t realize until too late- so whoops
please don’t let it flop ive been working on this literally all day akdhsksbw
!!! TW: DEATH (kinda graphic? i mean i say how they died but that’s it), ABUSE, CHILD ABANDONMENT, MENTIONS OF STARVATION !!!
please don’t continue reading if any of those things trigger you
District 1: luxury
They produce jewelry and the people take pride in living there because of it. Most of the people from there are named after expensive material like “Cashmere” and “Glimmer” and as you know, they train and volunteer for the games so they have a higher chance of winning.
Oscar Delancey
Morris Delancey (died)
Tumblr media
Morris lived with his uncle and his brother
He had a fairly privileged life, living in the richer side of the district.
However, his uncle was an abusive drunk and he usually took the hits from him to stop his brother from getting hurt
He trained for the games his entire life and eagerly volunteered to be a part of them when he was 17, hoping that if he won it would mean him and his brother could get away from their uncle and have a better life
Sadly, he died during the games by being stabbed in the back by the one and only Jack Kelly
He made 2nd place
District 2: Masonry and Defense.
These people work on weapons for peacekeepers and even have a training center for the peacekeepers, and they also volunteer for the games. It’s illegal for them, but because they’re so buddy buddy with the Capitol, they’re let off. They usually have Ancient Roman and Greek names.
Romeo (victor)
Tumblr media
Romeo grew up having a somewhat decent life
Hs mother died when he was young, so he lived with his father and younger sister (who’s only 5 when he goes to the games) (he’s 15)
He trained for the games since he was young, and at first. he wanted to volunteer
However, as the reaping came near, he was starting to regret his decision, especially after overhearing some of his friends talk about the true horrors of the games
His dad threatened to kill him himself if he didn’t volunteer, claiming he would rather have no son at all than one who was a coward
So Romeo was forced to volunteer
Jojo (his mentor) becomes like an older brother or even father figure to him
Jojo de la Guerra (former victor, died)
Tumblr media
Jojo lived in the poorer side of the district
He used to work a lot in weaponry to provide for his family Jojo was 17 when he participated in the games, and won
He was 22 when he mentored Romeo
And 23 when he died
He “trained” for the games for years, but unlike Romeo, he never volunteered
By “training” i mean that he was just a sparring partner for people who wanted to volunteer for the games
Because of this, he just picked up different fighting techniques over time
Unlike most people in that district, he hated the games and was not eager at all to be a part of them
He was assigned as Romeo’s mentor
At first, Jojo thought he was just another cocky kid who was overconfident he’d win
But then he actually met him. and realised Romeo didn’t want this
He made it his goal to make sure Romeo would get out of the games alive. After all, he was just a kid.
He was killed by peacekeepers after trying to protect Romeo. Pulitzer wanted to prostitute Jojo, and he refused, so as a warning they went to kill Romeo, but Jojo managed to stop them the cost of his own life
District 3: Technology.
They produce technology and electronics for the Capitol and usually use their knowledge of that in the games. They’re really smart and in the 10th Hunger Games, it’s said that a district 3 tribute hack into a drone that delivered supplies to use for themselves (doesn’t work that great cause they get killed though) but they’re still really smart.
Antonio “Racetrack” Higgins (victor)
Tumblr media
Race never met his mother, She died a few days after he was born
So he was raised by his father
When he turned 6, his father started drinking
When he turned 7, he started hiring him
He met a girl named Sarah after trying to steal from her, and instead of reporting him to a peacekeeper, they actually became friends over time (even though Race was 2 years younger than her)
He often went to hide at the Jacobs’ house when things got too bad at home
Just a year after David volunteered, on the next reaping, Sarah’s name was called
So Race volunteered. (he was 16)
The jacobs’ had already done so much for him, and Sarah didn’t deserve to go through that, chances were she wouldn’t come back alive.
Race knew he probably wouldn’t either, but he had nothing to lose. He wouldn’t be leaving any family behind, because the man that called himself his father was not his family.
David was his mentor.
Much like David had before him, Race used parts of traps to make his weapons better, though he mainly used a bow and arrow.
For most of the game, he made a truce with a guy named Albert from district 4, and they became /very/ close.
He was killed by a guy from district 6, Finch, who was also the last person remaining apart from him.
Race killed him by shooting an arrow directly in his heart. It’s the only kill he doesn’t regret so much.
David Jacobs (victor)
Tumblr media
David lived with his parents, twin sister and younger brother.
He was especially close to his sister.
His father got sick and died a few years later, when he was 15, so he had to work extra hard to help support his family
When he turned 17, his worst nightmare came true and his younger brother, Les was selected for the games
He volunteered to save his brother, and was determined to make it back alive, wanting his family to have a better life.
He trained a lot in physical combat, since he knew that without at least a somewhat proper training, he wouldn’t stand a chance.
Once in the games, he spent most of his time trying to avoid other people, not wanting to kill anyone else and not wanting to risk his own life.
However, he ended up having to kill a boy from district 10, Mike, to save his own life using a makeshift explosive he made out of parts from a trap he disarmed (or however it’s said).
He wins by tricking the last person left, Itey, into eating poison berries.
He never forgave himself for the lives he took, and it’s something that would always haunt him.
Just a year after that, he became Race’s mentor.
District 4: fishing.
First off, people say that this district had the most “decent-looking” people. As you may have guessed, these people specialize in “aquaculture” It sounds useless, but a character named “Mags” actually won her games because she was the only one able to swim the longest when the arena was flooded. They also use tridents and things like that and volunteer as “Careers” too.
Albert Dasilva (died)
Albert came from the more poor side of the district
He lives with his father, who fell ill a few weeks before Albert was selected for the games.
He’s only 16
He never really trained for the games, unlike many people. He didn’t have the time or money for that.
One of his friends, Sniper, promised to take care of his father while he was gone.
Albert knew he probably wouldn’t be coming back.
Early in the games, he befriended Race, and they survive throughout almost the entire games together.
He knew one of them was going to have to die, but Albert decided to ignore that. He was going to find a way around it.
However, while Race went out hunting, the only other tribute left strangled him to death and stole all their supplies.
He never made it back home to his father.
Sniper (victor)
Tumblr media
Sniper was an orphan
Her family abandoned her when she was 5, and she lived in the streets for a short while until a kind man took her in
It was Albert’s father
When she got older, she started working to make her own living
Albert became her best friend, despite being 4 years apart. He became almost like an older brother to her.
Her best friend, almost brother, got sent away for the games and never returned.
Sniper moved back in with Mr. Dasilva to take care of him as he fell ill, and his son was no longer there to take care of him.
He got better, eventually, and was horrified and heartbroken at the news of his son’s death.
A year after his best friend was sent away to die, she got chosen for the games.
She vowed to make it back alive, no matter what.
She learned everything there was to know about the plants of the arena. She was already good at combat.
She won by poisoning the last other tribute.
Much like David, Sniper was never able to forgive herself for the lives she took.
District 5: power.
They specialize in providing power for the Capitol with electricity (they power homes and stuff so not technology like in district 3). They’re pretty smart and they use the coal district 12 mines to generate the power.
Specs
Itey (died)
Itey lived with their parents
They were an only child
Their life was pretty good- at least their family life
They were pretty poor, but still better off than a few other people, so they were grateful for what they had.
They were chosen for the games when they were 15
Their parents prayed Itey would make it back alive, but they knew it was unlikely, since he had no training whatsoever
They were right
Itey almost won, but they were starving, and didn’t know that the berries were poisonous
They came 2nd
District 6: transportation
The tributes shown from here are actually pretty nice and cool. During the 75th Hunger Games the tributes were nicknamed “morphlings” because of their addiction to the drug. The male tribute didn’t do much, but the female tribute sacrificed herself for Peeta and jumped in front of an animal that was trying to kill him.
Finch Cortez (died)
Finch lived with his younger brother
His parents died when he was relatively young (12 years old- his brother was 9) but they managed to scrape by
He started working pretty young to make sure his brother could have a roof over his head and not starve.
He was 17 when he was selected for the games, his brother was only 14
He was terrified, but determined to come back home to his only family
He made it to 2nd place
He was killed by an arrow straight through his heart.
Tbh if Race would’ve known Finch had a family to go home to, he would’ve eaten poisonous berries and let him win
Skittery
District 7: lumber.
They specialize in forestry and wood and paper and all that. They are strong-willed and hard headed, and don’t have many qualms about killing people. but more or less are loyal depending on the situation.
Sean “Spot” Conlon (victor)
Tumblr media
Spot was an orphan
Well, kind of
He lived with his parents up until he was 10, when he ran away
They were both abusive and manipulative, and he knew if they kept this up, he’d end up dead
After he ran away, he made friends with a guy his age named Hotshot.
Hotshot had the perfect family. Loving parents and a younger sister.
Honestly, Spot was jealous
But they became quick friends, and Hotshot’s parents let him move in
Hotshot nicknamed him Spot because of the cigarette burns across his arms and back
He was 17 when he was selected for the games
Surprisingly enough, he didn’t think he’d come back
Because as strong and as much of a skilled fighter as he was, there were people out there that had been training for this their whole lives.
However, he managed to win. Had a pretty big kill count too- not because he wanted to, but because a surprising amount of people went after him. He had many good supplies and they wanted them.
The last person left apart from him was Buttons.
He won by bashing his head against a rock and then pushing him off a cliff for good measure.
In his defence, Buttons had tried to push him off a cliff first. Spot just took his chance.
Hotshot
District 8: textiles
Clothing. They fight for what’s right, and we’re actually among the first to rebel against the Capitol and follow Katniss, which, sadly, also made them the second most targeted district (the first being district 12 which was outright destroyed) A leader from district 8 actually became president after Katniss killed this woman named “Alma Coin” (the president of district 13)
Buttons (died)
Buttons lived with her younger brother, Elmer, and their parents
She was only 14 when she was selected for the games
She knew she wasn’t making it back
However, she let her hopes up w hen she was one of the only two left, and was a bit more careless with her actions
This is what led to her the death
Elmer
District 9: grain.
They specialize in grain, and salts. It’s the least mentioned of the districts, there is no known character mentioned from here, and all that is known is that both tributes died in the initial bloodbath
Henry
Smalls
District 10: live stock.
Believe it or not, no one except a crippled boy is mentioned from here. This is the second least mentioned one, it’s only known that a refugee from here told Katniss about district 13 so we can assume they know their rights and wrongs.
Mike (died)
Mike lived with his twin brother and parents
He was 15 when he was selected for the games, and he knew there was no chance he’d make it back alive
He was right, since he was killed by David, after trying to kill him and steal his supplies.
Ike
District 11: agriculture.
Common traits of this district are “dark skin and brown eyes” They are heavily abused by the Peacekeepers and are the most brutal treated ones. Their electric fences are activated 24/7, they have extreme knowledge of herbs and foods. Again, security here is greatly unforced and there are a lot of harsh measures like summary execution. (an execution where someone is accused of something and is immediately killed without a fair trial) It was one of the first districts to rebel, it was their response for what happened to Rue (a former 12-year old tribute who was Katniss’ ally and was killed during the games).
Graves
Rafaela
District 12: coal mining.
This district is divided into housing areas. The Seam is where people who work in coal mines live, and the others are centered around “The Square''. People from The Seam generally have dark hair, grey eyes, and olive skin, and the others have blond hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. Katniss and Gale are from The Seam whereas Peeta is a bakers son in the town. District 12 is the poorest out of the districts, and starvation is a big issue, and because of this, the Capitol usually bends the rules a little by turning off the electric fence surrounding them so people can go hunt for food for their families or sell their catches to the black market for money. District 12 is known for having only 2 victors in the history of the games before the 74th. A female named Lucy Gray Baird who died before the events of The Hunger Games happened, and Haymitch Abernathy. This is why the district is usually a laughingstock and volunteering for the Games is seen as suicide.
Jack Francis Kelly (victor)
Tumblr media
Jack’s parents gave him up at a very young age, when he was only 2 years old
They sent him to live with an old family friend, William Snyder
Snyder was horrible to him.
He constantly abused and starved and neglected him, treated him more like a slave than anything else.
Jack had to balance doing whatever Snyder said and also making his own food and money by working so he could eat
When he was 14, his parents came to visit. He didn’t recognize them, and he didn’t know who they were until the end of the visit- when they were leaving
He was both hurt and furious
Although he was miserable and his life sucked, he did manage to make a friend
Crutchie
He was 3 years younger than Jac k, and his leg was injured beyond repair in a mining accident
When he heard Crutchie’s name at the Reaping, he immediately volunteered
Unlike him, Crutchie had a family. People who loved him.
Jack had nothing to lose
He didn’t expect to come back alive, he wasn’t sure he wanted to.
Multiple people tried to kill him throughout the game, thinking it as a fun game since he was of the “worse” district
Jack won by killing Morris
He didn’t know he had a brother, if he did, he wouldn’t have done it. Jack didn’t have anything to come back to, Morris did
He found out about this and his situation a day after his victory.
He was horrified, knowing he killed a man that was just trying to help his family.
Jack didn’t have a family. He just took a poor kids only family away.
So he made sure Oscar was away from his uncle and safe
It was the least he could do.
He was never able to forgive himself.
Charlie “Crutchie” Morris
District 13: nuclear weaponry.
Before they were “extinct” they made and built nuclear weapons for the Capitol, but after they tried to rebel, they were bombed and became “extinct”. In reality they lived underground and struck up a deal with the Capitol, that they’d be able to live in hiding, and in return, they would not rain war on the Capitol. Every food ration is cherished in this district and everything is very orderly as to not rouse suspicion. The lifestyle is very strict because of the circumstances. District 13 is the center for the rebellion in the books, and is where Katniss and everyone planned out the war between the districts and the Capitol.
Mush Meyers and Kid Blink
Blink came from district 12
He was an orphan, and his only family, his younger sister, died from starvation when he was 17, soon turning 18
She was only 10
Not even a year later, Blink snuck out of his district, except instead of just going hunting, he ran away.
He narrowly escaped a peacekeeper finding him
After a few days of being completely alone, he ran into Mush Meyers, who (slightly reluctantly) took him into his distract (he got into a shit ton of trouble for that)
However, Blink was allowed to stay.
Eventually, they got together (because we all need some Blush in our lives)

One of our Great Comedians leaves us this day! Rest In Peace, Jackie! - Phroyd
Jackie Mason, whose staccato, arm-waving delivery and thick Yiddish accent kept the borscht belt style of comedy alive long after the Catskills resorts had shut their doors, and whose career reached new heights in the 1980s with a series of one-man shows on Broadway, died on Saturday in Manhattan. He was 93.His death, at Mount Sinai Hospital, was confirmed by the lawyer Raoul Felder, a longtime friend.Mr. Mason regarded the world around him as a nonstop assault on common sense and an affront to his sense of dignity. Gesturing frantically, his forefinger jabbing the air, he would invite the audience to share his sense of disbelief and inhabit his very thin skin, if only for an hour.“I used to be so self-conscious,” he once said, “that when I attended a football game, every time the players went into a huddle, I thought they were talking about me.” Recalling his early struggles as a comic, he said, “I had to sell furniture to make a living — my own.”The idea of music in elevators sent him into a tirade: “I live on the first floor; how much music can I hear by the time I get there? The guy on the 28th floor, let him pay for it.”
The humor was punchy, down-to-earth and emphatically Jewish: His last one-man show in New York, in 2008, was titled “The Ultimate Jew.” A former rabbi from a long line of rabbis, Mr. Mason made comic capital as a Jew feeling his way — sometimes nervously, sometimes pugnaciously — through a perplexing gentile world.“Every time I see a contradiction or hypocrisy in somebody’s behavior,” he once told The Wall Street Journal, “I think of the Talmud and build the joke from there.” Describing his comic style to The New York Times in 1988, he said, “My humor — it’s a man in a conversation, pointing things out to you.”“He’s not better than you, he’s just another guy,” he added. “I see life with love — I’m your brother up there — but if I see you make a fool out of yourself, I owe it to you to point that out to you.”He was born Yacov Moshe Maza in Sheboygan, Wis., on June 9, 1928, to immigrants from Belarus. (Some sources give the year as 1931.) When he was 5, his father, Eli, an Orthodox rabbi, and his mother, Bella (Gitlin) Maza, moved the family to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where Yacov discovered that his path in life had already been determined. Not only his father, but his grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfathers had all been rabbis. His three older brothers became rabbis, and his two younger sisters married rabbis. “It was unheard-of to think of anything else,” Mr. Mason said. “But I knew, from the time I’m 12, I had to plot to get out of this, because this is not my calling.”
After earning a degree from City College, he completed his rabbinical studies at Yeshiva University and was ordained. In a state of mounting misery, he tended to congregations in Weldon, N.C., and Latrobe, Pa., unhappy in his profession but unwilling to disappoint his father.Hedging his bets, he had begun working summers in the Catskills, where he wrote comic monologues and appeared onstage at every opportunity. This, he decided, was his true calling, and after his father’s death in 1959 he felt free to pursue it in earnest, with a new name.He struggled at first, playing the Catskills and, with little success, obscure clubs in New York and Miami. Plagued by guilt, he underwent psychoanalysis, which did not solve his problems but did provide him with good comic material.Nevertheless, he found it hard to break into the nightclub circuit in New York — in part, he claimed, because his act made Jewish audiences uncomfortable. “My accent reminds them of a background they’re trying to forget,” he said.
While performing at a Los Angeles nightclub in 1960, he caught the attention of his fellow comedian Jan Murray, who recommended him to the television personality Steve Allen. Two appearances in two weeks on “The Steve Allen Show” led to bookings at the Copacabana and the Blue Angel in New York.Mr. Mason’s career was off and running. He became a regular on the top television variety shows, recorded two albums for the Verve label — “I Am the Greatest Comedian in the World Only Nobody Knows It Yet” and “I Want to Leave You With the Words of a Great Comedian” — and wrote a book, “My Son the Candidate.”
After dozens of appearances on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” Mr. Mason encountered disaster on Oct. 18, 1964. A speech by President Lyndon B. Johnson pre-empted the program, which resumed as Mr. Mason was halfway through his act. Onstage but out of camera range, Sullivan indicated with two fingers, then one, how many minutes Mr. Mason had left, distracting the audience. Mr. Mason, annoyed, responded by holding up his own fingers to the audience, saying, “Here’s a finger for you, and a finger for you, and a finger for you.”Sullivan, convinced that one of those fingers was an obscene gesture, canceled Mr. Mason’s six-show contract and refused to pay him for the performance. Mr. Mason sued, and won.The two later reconciled, but the damage was done. Club owners and booking agents now regarded him, he said, as “crude and unpredictable.”
“People started to think I was some kind of sick maniac,” Mr. Mason told Look. “It took 20 years to overcome what happened in that one minute.”His career went into a slump, punctuated by bizarre instances of bad luck. In Las Vegas in 1966, after he made a few ill-considered remarks about Frank Sinatra’s recent marriage to the much younger Mia Farrow (“Frank soaks his dentures and Mia brushes her braces,” one joke went), an unidentified gunman fired a .22 pistol into his hotel room.A play he starred in and wrote (with Mike Mortman), “A Teaspoon Every Four Hours,” went through a record-breaking 97 preview performances on Broadway before opening on June 14, 1969, to terrible reviews. It closed after one night, taking with it his $100,000 investment. He also invested in “The Stoolie” (1972), a film in which he played a con man and improbable Romeo. It also failed, taking even more of his money. Roles in sitcoms and films eluded him, although he did make the most of small parts in Mel Brooks’s “History of the World: Part I” (1981) — he was “Jew No. 1” in the Spanish Inquisition sequence — and “The Jerk” (1979), in which he played the gas-station owner who employs Steve Martin.Rebuffed, Mr. Mason set about rebuilding his career with guest appearances on television. His new manager, Jyll Rosenfeld, convinced that the old borscht belt comics were ripe for a comeback, encouraged him to bring his act to the theater as a one-man show.
After attracting celebrity audiences in Los Angeles, that show, “The World According to Me!,” opened on Broadway in December 1986 and ran for two years. It earned Mr. Mason a special Tony Award in 1987, as well as an Emmy for writing after HBO aired an abridged version in 1988.
“I didn’t think it would work,” Mr. Mason said. “But people, when they come into a theater, see you in a whole new light. It’s like taking a picture from a kitchen and hanging it in a museum.”In 1991 Mr. Mason married Ms. Rosenfeld, who survives him. He is also survived by a daughter, the comedian Sheba Mason, from a relationship with Ginger Reiter in the 1970s and ’80s.“The World According to Me!” generated a series of sequels — “Politically Incorrect,” “Love Thy Neighbor,” “Prune Danish” and others — which carried Mr. Mason through the 1990s and into the new millennium. He published an autobiography, “Jackie, Oy!” (written with Ken Gross), in 1988. He also found a new sideline as an opinionated political commentator on talk radio. In the 2016 presidential campaign, he was one of the few well-known entertainers to support Donald J. Trump.Mr. Mason’s forays into political commentary caused him trouble. He was reported to have used a Yiddish word considered to be a racial slur in talking about David N. Dinkins, the Black mayoral candidate, at a Plaza Hotel luncheon in 1989. Mr. Mason was a campaigner for Mr. Dinkins’s opponent, Rudolph W. Giuliani. Mr. Giuliani said the incident had been blown out of proportion but nevertheless dismissed Mr. Mason from the campaign. Mr. Mason at first refused to apologize but did so later.
He drew attention for using the same word regarding President Barack Obama during a performance in 2009.Appearances on the cartoon series “The Simpsons,” as the voice of Rabbi Hyman Krustofski, the father of Krusty the Clown, confirmed his newfound status, and earned him a second Emmy. Not even the 1988 bomb “Caddyshack II,” in which he was a last-minute replacement for Rodney Dangerfield, or the ill-fated “Chicken Soup,” a 1989 sitcom co-starring Lynn Redgrave that died quickly, could slow his improbable transformation from borscht belt relic into hot property.“I’ve been doing this for a hundred thousand years, but it’s like I was born last Thursday,” Mr. Mason once said of his career turnaround. “They see me as today’s comedian. Thank God I stunk for such a long time and was invisible, so I could be discovered.”

My problems with FNAF Lore
Hey guys. I felt like I wanted to explain my problems with the FNAF lore, and how the lore was ruined for me years ago.
My history with the franchise and the lore Now, I discovered the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise back in 2014 through DanTDM's Let's Play of Five Nights at Freddy's 2. It was the first time I had ever been introduced to the jumpscares and characters in-game. But I actually discovered the first game through a YTP someone made of it. With how little I knew from discovering that YTP, I assumed that Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy were anthropomorphic animals that ran the place, and that Freddy just liked to leave scary stuff in his office because he was a horror guy. That assumption was way off and DanTDM's Let's Play let me discover that the antagonists weren't anthropomorphic animals. I then discovered Markiplier's videos on the games in 2014, and fan-animations of the games like SMG4's Freddy's Spaghettiria series, and Piemations' 5 AM at Freddy's series. Besides the surprising jumpscares, what really got me hooked on the FNAF series was the 80s-90s aesthetics, and the lore behind it all. Around late 2014 and early 2015, I had discovered the hidden lore series by MrCreepyPasta, which was what got me interested in exploring the lore. I loved the FNAF lore when it was just, "Man kills 5 kids in pizzeria joint and the animatronics become haunted by the spirits of the kids". This made it feel much more realistic, as murder of kids in a place like this can happen in real life. The fact that the staff weren't behind any of it, and that the guards were originally just some average joes who got hired for a night guard position without knowing the dangers of it was also very realistic too. And the inclusion of another tragic event known as the "Bite of '87" was also interesting. But the biggest thing that made the lore have a charm to it, was how there was an implied history of Fazbear Entertainment, and FNAF 2 showed us the history of the place before the tragedies happened, as well as implying that the negative impression was stuck before the murders was also interesting. The lore was interesting back then because of how realistic and mysterious it was. And when the third game came out, it was a great conclusion to the franchise, in which the killer got his comeuppance, leaving the kid's souls to rest in peace. And the killer haunting the suit he died in as an attempt to escape his torment of being trapped in a suit, eventually leaving him to be burned alive in the location he was at was a very nice way to end things. But the way it had expanded on the story by taking place thirty years after the events of the first game, with the unsolved mysteries of Fazbear Entertainment trying to be recreated by people was a good way to expand upon the story. So basically, I prefer the FNAF lore when it was the story of how kids were murdered in a pizzeria joint, and how they eventually got revenge on their killer, while room was made to show us how the pizzeria joint handled this, and how the alleged hauntings were shown through the animatronics being possessed. Because of the lore being so interesting, I tried making up my own timelines to tie the story of the first three games together. And seeing as how the lore was concluded, it should've just ended there, right? Well... it didn't.
Where the problems crept in I think that the problems with the lore crept in with the fourth game. Now, this game could've had potential, as it could've taken place in the location where the withered animatronics were used in before FNAF 2, but it didn't do that. We got instead a child suffering through nightmares, with animatronics that have particularly stupid designs. Plus, what made it worse was that the Bite of 83 was introduced, making the topic of the Bite of'87 confusing since it was implied it happened in the second game, but now it was happening in the fourth game? But then it was revealed to be a separate event, why two separate events of the same thing? What constitutes the idea of establishing a similar event to the Bite of '87? It had nothing to impact the games itself at all. The bigger thing that was confusing is this, Fredbear's Family Diner was implied to have been closed for longer than 1983-1987, and the fact that you see the unwithered versions of the withered animatronics in Fredbear's makes it all the more confusing, since Fredbear's was established as a separate, and early location before it was later re-enfranchised as Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. So why retcon what was established in the previous games? Why not just show us in the fourth game what happened with the withered animatronics before they became withered, and then make a fifth game that took place in Fredbear's Family Diner? I don't know why Scott felt the need to retcon things, especially since most people thought that the franchise had already ended with the third game. Later on down the line, Sister Location came out in 2016. And I honestly hate Sister Location, lore-wise that is. The reason I say this is because Sister Location fucked up everything more than the 4th game. This time, there was more retconning, the horror tone and 80s-90s aesthetic was gone, the game felt like Sci-fi and less like the older games. Worse, Purple Guy was given an actual name, and turned from a cold-blooded killer that killed kids because of being a psychopath, into a mad scientist obsessed with placing souls into animatronics using soul juice in an attempt to create murderous animatronics, and he killed kids to do this, but most of them were his own or his friend's kids, Fazbear Entertainment was actually started by this maniac, and Mike Schmidt from FNAF 1 was no longer an average joe working a night shift job, but instead the son of the killer and later became an unrealistic purple zombie that somehow got hired for night shift positions. Jeremy and Fritz were no longer average joes either, and were now aliases for the purple zombie who's actual name was Michael Afton, making Mike Schmidt another alias for this zombie. And now, this was more about a family that was insane to begin with trying to put their own personal demons to rest, rather than the story of the murder of 5 children in a pizzeria joint, and the killer gets his comeuppance while the faceless pizzeria chain tried keep its reputation afloat, eventually failing which lead to the closure of it. All of this shattered how I interpreted the lore. The biggest things that Sister Location fucked up were the following. 1. Taking away the 80s/90s aesthetic. In the first and second game, the game has an 80s and 90s aesthetic with the looks of the locations and decor, as well as the camera sounds sounding like cassette tapes, and the first took place in the early 90s, while the second took place in the late 80s. FNAF 3 kept the 80s/90s aesthetic, and I'd argue FNAF 4 kept the old aesthetic too, such as how old everything looked in FNAF 3, and how the house looks particularly old in FNAF 4. FNAF SL's aesthetics look way too futuristic for a FNAF game, especially since it's said to take place before the first 4 games. 2. Making it more sci-fi. The original FNAF games, and the fourth one were meant to be horror games, and they established this greatly with audio and visual cues, as well as the storyline having a horror-esque feel to it during the first 3 games, and even the 4th game kept. The focus on sci-fi traits or elements in SL kind of kills the horror-esque feel that FNAF originally gave off, especially the whole soul juice and mad scientist part. 3. Making Fazbear Entertainment have an owner. Fazbear Entertainment should've just been left as a faceless corporation that had nothing to do with the murders, the type of company to try and cover up the damage done to their reputation by cutting costs or not batting an eye when a man kills children in their restaurant. 4. Making Mike, Jeremy, and Fritz into aliases. It doesn't make any sense as to why a company would hire a foul smelling zombie who kept changing his name. I think that Mike, Jeremy, and Fritz should've just been average joes that got night guard positions not knowing that their jobs were dangerous and not knowing the hauntings of the pizzeria they applied to work for. And 5. The Afton Family. The Afton Family completely ruined the idea of the children being killed at Freddy's by an unknown man, since now it's just about a family killing his own for a dumb mad science experiment and the son is trying to stop his own father, making it so you no longer play as an average joe that discovers the dark secrets and hauntings of a pizzeria joint, but instead you're just playing as a zombie that needs to kill his own father in order to stop his father from killing anyone else. Seriously, it feels less like a horror game, and now feels more like a badly written self-insert sci-fi story with some bit of horror mixed in. The FNAF series is way too complicated to figure out now due to loads of retconning and unnecessary changes made to the story. Worse, the Nightmare, Funtime, and other animatronics that have been added to the franchise just seems like an excuse for Scott to just add new characters simply to keep the franchise going. Now, let's look at a FNAF fan-game series with a better written story.
Five Nights at Candy's Five Nights at Candy's has a much easier to understand story than FNAF. In the first game, you play as a female night guard at a burger joint where an unfortunate incident occurred between an animatronic and a customer, and an incident involving two kids at the factory where the animatronics were made. The backstory of everything, such as the original location and the burger joint's opening are explained in FNAC 3, showing how two unfortunate incidents at the puppet/animatronic theatre led to the closure of the place. We also learn more about the main character from the first game, and the one who caused the murders as well as the victims. In the second game, everything is concluded with the daughter of the guard solving the mysteries of the old factory. The reason is because Emil Macko managed to actually tell the story in an effective way, without retconning anything and without relying entirely on twists and misdirection.
Conclusion So yeah, I can't stand FNAF lore post-FNAF 4, because of how it became way too confusing to understand, and with how the series started retconning tons of things and making unnecessary changes. And it's amazing how a FNAF fan-game was able to tell its story better than the actual FNAF fan-games. So for me, I'm sticking with the FNAF 1-3 lore, which is my interpretation of it. Before I end this blog though, what's annoying is that no matter if you mention the FNAF 1-3 lore on YouTube, people will instantly start bringing in the modern FNAF lore and correct you, even if you're following you're headcanon.

Tag game: A LIST OF STUFF
I was tagged by the ever creative & hilarious @tortoisesshells! Thank you!
Nicknames: Aside from the baby one my dad still embarassing uses and a high school one that re-emerges once a year with our annual get-together, surprisingly none. Or actually, my sisters and their kids calls me Gradi (French-sounding, GRA- like “grass”-DEE) because that’s how my name came out of my first niece’s toddler mouth a dozen+ years ago, and everybody thought it was hilarious and adopted it. No Matante title for me!
Zodiac sign: Gemini / Cancer hybrid. Never checked which one it was on my birthyear because that’s how much stock my STEM brain puts in astrology.
Height: 5′7″
Hogwarts House: I’ve gotten both Ravenclaw and Slytherin, which totally tracks and is apparently pretty on par for INTJs.
Last thing I googled:  The right spelling of Slytherin. Hey, it’s been a while.
Before that, “Légende de la Corriveau”, because my son learned about it in school, and my partner and I were arguing about how many husbands she really had, and whether she was hanged first or died in the infamous cage. Confused? Read the original Québec witch story Here, brought to you by the Treaty of Paris and the British takeover of New France.
Song stuck in my head: Toxic, Britney Spears. It’s been everywhere, this week.
Fav musicians: Sounds blasphemous but... I’m not a big music person? So... whatever’s upbeat and fun and singable on my commute, like... ABBA? Cheesy 90s bands? Barenaked Ladies? Whatever Princess Poppy the Pop Troll is into.  Just nothing country or too experimental jazzy.
Following: 52. Hmm. I need to branch out. Any fun blog recs?
Followers: 70. Huh. I’m really surprised that number is larger than the previous. You lovely people are quiet; I thought there was only a dozen of you :)
Do you get asks: Rarely, and pretty much only when I ask for prompts.
Amount of sleep: 6-7hr most nights, 8 on the weekend, and they are FINALLY, after almost a decade of young kids with terrible sleep patterns, mostly uninterrupted. So 6hr straight totally beats 8hr in bits&pieces.
Lucky number: I’ll pick 21 if the options go that high. If not, probably 3.
What are you wearing: Fridays are Blue Checkered Shirt Day at work, and it’s a Team Tradition that I will never break for as long as I work here (and will probably institute wherever I work next). So flannel edition because Winter and jeans, because Friday.
Dream jobs: 1920s egyptologist, forensic anthropologist, The Thirsty Traveler, retired grandma who plays golf, hikes, writes, bakes and spends the worst of winter someplace warmer.
Dream trip: A few weeks with loved ones in a comfortable rented house some place near the sea, old historical cities and natural sites, with a rental car to drive around and visit at our own pace during the day, and nearby shops full of local produce, coffee, drinks, cheese and bread for relaxed evenings talking away on the starlit patio with a home-cooked meal and plenty of good wine.
Instruments you play: Does -badly- teaching myself rudimentary guitar in HS and going through Simply Piano last year count? ... yeah, didn’t think so. So, none. I’m more a Sports & Books type.
Languages you speak: Fluent French (first) and English (since childhood), above tourist level Spanish and German, but for no rational reason because they are the least similar languages ever, the two get mixed up like crazy when I speak either (both must be stored in the “Languages I Suck At” portion of my brain). And I never spoke as good Spanish as when I tried to speak Portuguese, which I can read decently enough, but understand when spoken? Not at all.
Fav song: Again with the music... ugh. I don’t know. Creep by Radiohead? Anything but Helter Skelter from The Beatles? Let’s Groove from Earth, Wind and Fire? Some Bryan Adams power ballad? Hopefully also something from the last 20 years...
Random fact: My dad got the inspiration for my first name from a guy he met at a disco nightclub... who he later found out to be a male exotic dancer. Yup, I was apparently named after a Magic Mike disco dude.
My mom found out at the same time I did. She was considerably less amused than I was.
Cats or dogs: Cats, 200%. Black ones all the better, although I relented and we adopted one of our foster babies, a tabby. He’s the devil but he’s also super sweet and cuddly. We named him Fofos, which is Portuguese for sweet / cute/ cuddly / fluffy (it is also wrongly plural but hey, it was always plural on the boxes of buns and cakes we bought in Portugal, and I already mentionned how abysmal my Portuguese is).
Aesthetic: Puzzles, books and movies in a cozy cabin with a fireplace in a snowy Laurentian forest; late summer nights at the ballpark, days by the pool and vegetable patch, the smell of BBQ in the air; flour-dusted vintage aprons, new recipes, planning meals & drink pairings; periodic tables, Erlenmeyer flasks, just being a nerd.
Tagging anyone interested!
