"Beauty is in The Eye of the Beholder"
In the corner part of the museum
A painting sits between two famous works of art
Tourist all around come to snap photos
Admiring all except the middle part
The paint isn’t smudge nor is the frame crooked
But no one stops their sights to the piece
Overshadowed by the other two
And the value continues to decrease
But one artist walks in one day
Hoping to catch a glimpse of something new
And everyone is sure he stares
At the two pieces, but the middle stops his view
A small little thing that doesn’t offer much
The museum host tells him
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
He responds rather grim
He wants to purchase it
At the highest price they’re willing to give
Because he sees the real value
In the painting that has outlive
The judgment of the world
The expectation of the standard
Basics thought don’t cross it
But words keep it slandered
But a true work of art
Wouldn’t rip the beauty of another
Simply because it doesn't understand
The public of smother.
