Haikyuu Percy Jackson Fanfic Idea

Hinata is the demigod son of Apollo. That’s why he’s basically the physical embodiment of the sun. His mother studied abroad in New York for a bit where she met Apollo. She ended up pregnant and had Shoyo. After the year was up she went back home to Japan, and hadn’t heard anything from Apollo. Years later she and Shoyo go to New York for vacation. There she runs into Apollo again. They go out to dinner to catch up. She asks why he looks like he didn’t age, and surprisingly he fills her in on the whole god/demigod thing. He even gives her the contact information for Camp Half Blood. She takes it pretty well and she ends up getting pregnant with Natsu after that encounter. Shoyo and Natsu continue to grow up in Japan. After they turn 11, their mom starts sending them back to the states to Camp Half Blood for breaks.

Continuation Ideas for This:

Going to Camp Half Blood during breaks conflicts with Volleyball. This causes Hinata to have to make a choice. I personally think that he would alternate breaks between the two. Like one would be spent with his teammates and the other in New York. But I could see this causing some confusion with his team too. “What do you mean you won’t be at the training camp? Why do you go to camp in New York of all places?”

One of the his half-siblings, like Will, coming to Japan for whatever reason and staying with him. Then Hinata having to explain that this is his half-sibling from the US that he never mentioned.

Hinata making comments about the camp that he attends during some breaks that makes no sense to anyone he’s talking too. For instance, during one of the training camps the teams decide to play Capture the Flag after hours for fun, and Hinata mentions how it’s way more fun with swords.

The only reason he has trouble in his English class is because of dyslexia. He’s actually fluent and has no trouble with the speaking portion. He also can speak Ancient Greek and decent Latin, though he doesn’t know how to explain that to Yachi or his teacher. (He’s also pretty good at picking up languages because of this)

He and Rachel bonding over both being redheads connected to Apollo.

Someone on the team getting hurt and Hinata immediately knowing what to do because he’s worked with Will in the infirmary before.

Hinata getting Camp Half-Blood to build a volleyball net and convincing some of the other campers to play with him

Pippin and Merry somehow time travel back (intentionally or not) to the early events of The Hobbit, maybe when they’re in Rivendell. After talking to them and trying to find out any information about how they got there Gandalf says something along the lines of “I have no idea how two Hobbits such as yourselves made your way here, for I can’t imagine you ever having the opportunity or want to leave your Hobbit holes. You seem plenty content to cause mischief and eat and smoke to your hearts content.”

To which Merry and Pippin gasp in mock horror and Pippin says “I will have you know Gan-dalf that my cousin here is an Esquire of Rohan and I myself am a Knight of Gondor.”

Gandalf, the dwarves, and the elves don’t know whether to laugh or believe them.

The gods didn’t give Percy the option to become a god, they made the decision for him. He begs Annabeth to join the Hunters of Artemis since he can’t lose her. And having an idea of what would happen if he lost her (whole world coming to an end) Annabeth agrees. He visits the Hunters a couple times after she joins but knowing that they can’t be together he tries to stay away. Annabeth gets angry and goes to Artemis saying basically that she loves Percy and became a Hunter so they wouldn’t lose each other, but if it’s between a mortal life with him or an immortal one without that she chooses the mortal one. Artemis feeling pity for the two she makes an exception. Annabeth is allowed to keep the gifts of a Hunter and be with Percy. After all they held the world up for her and have saved the world enough times that Artemis wants them to have happiness.

Hinata stays in Brazil and starts dating Oikawa. After finding out that they both are going to be competing in the Tokyo Olympics, Oikawa on the Argentinian National Team and Hinata playing beach volleyball with Heitor, they become engaged. Since the Olympics are in Tokyo they decide to have their wedding there after they compete. That way all of their friends and family in Japan can attend. And their teammates and any friend willing to fly over can come too. Pedro and Nice go to cheer on Hinata and Pedro, and to attend the wedding.

Caspian is the captain of one of the fiercest pirate ships on the seas. Edmund is a prince of Narnia. Since among his siblings he is the best at negotiations, he had traveled to a country across the sea to discuss a very important deal. On the way back his ship is either attacked or they hit a storm. Either way, Edmund ends up overboard.

Haikyuu Post Time Skip Fic Idea

The team that Hinata is on is being interviewed. The interviewer asks “So we know that you guys are good at playing real life games, but how are you at video games?” Or something like that. And Hinata answers something along the lines of, “Actually my boyfriend (or close friend, depending on what you ship) loves to play video games, but I’ve never really been that good at them.” Then we cut to Kenma who after watching the interview is either recording a video or on his livestream. And it basically goes like this

Kenma: I don’t know if you guys watched the recent interview with the MSBY Jackals/Japan National Team but Hinata Shoyo is a damn liar.

Watchers: *confused about what Kodzuken is talking about*

Kenma: *starts showing videos of Hinata beating their friends at Mario Kart and Smash Bros*

Kenma: Hinata is good at video games and he knows it.

Then later on his watchers go and watch the interview and that’s how they figure out that Kodzuken is dating/best friends with a professional volleyball player.
