You guys played against each other as fun for a little date idea and it ended up with you winning

While Yugi wasn’t going as hard as he usually tries, he did try a little so you winning would be seen as an accomplishment between the two of you

Honestly he didn’t really care that much

He loves you too much and is just happy that you’re happy

He’s the type of boyfriend that brags about his S/o’s accomplishments

Even if you don’t think it was that big of a deal

He started to move on from it until Joey brought up that you should have a rematch

To be fair Yugi just thought of it as a little fun game but now with his friends watching but unbeknownst to him, you didn’t feel the same

Which was the perfect opportunity for Joey to pick at your skin

Despite both of you loving the same person (just in a different way) you two absolutely hated eachother

Which is honestly surprising

It’s because you’re both jealous of each other

He noticed how unwilling you were to do it but he didn’t really bat an eye, if you don’t want to do something then he’s not going to make you

He talked to you about it later though and no matter you’re reason, he tried to understand

As long as you tell he what’s going on and are honest, he’ll never be mad at you

It’s was just embarrassing how easy you could win against him

It took no longer than ten minutes and it left him him feeling humiliated

He just wanted to show off his skills

No only to you but also to his friend but it didn’t really turn out that way

You and him definitely had to cuddle at your house to make him less sad

Sure it was fun to win your little game between you two but you also felt bad at how sad and disappointed you got

You also didn’t want to purposely let him win because you were never a good liar so when he found out it would only make him feel worse

Instead you just never played with him again

It didn’t matter how many times he asked or why, you weren’t playing against him

He tried everything from bribery to begging and above

He just wanted to show off his skills but you never played against him

You watched him play against others and commented on how better he was getting though which made him happy enough

There might have been one or two times where you did give in and played against him but you let him win both times which pissed him off but you found it kind of funny

He straight up did not talk to you for a week until you told him you cheated which didn’t but you just wanted him to talk to you again

The only thing you cheated on were your exams at school

It made him feel a little better and he asked you to go again but this time no tricks and twists

He wanted to show off to Mokuba who kept talking about the match

But when you said no, he got mad all over again

Hi hun! Yes I remember you and I'm sorry I haven't got to your request yet. I've just some writers block and haven't had it in me to write, but thankful this event is helping a lot so I promise yours will be on the top of my list when this is done 💕 till then I hope this make up for it a little.

With the bag in hand you were excited to share them with you finance of 2 years Atem. Being not fully aware of everything this time has to offer you knew he hasn't tried the chalky goodness that is Candy Hearts. Though unable to resist you open the bad and fish out a cherry, and cotten Candy popping them both in your mouth.

You sang a small tune as you made our way inside only to see Atem focused hard on something. "Are you okay hun??" He jumped not expecting you home so soon, and quickly turned around.

He sighed and scratched the back of his neck "yes its just...while I was trying to figure something to give for the up coming holiday a...memory came to me." You walked closer to him placing your hand on his cheek silently asking him to continue. "I was trying to figure out what it was or the meaning, but I have yet to figure it out."

You gave him a reassuring smile before lightly giving him a kiss ok his lips. "Don't stress about this much My king. You will get it eventually just give yourself some time."

He smiled leaning into your touch as his hand met yours still resting on his cheek "for as long as I could remember you are all been prayin' for, and I'm lucky the gods heard me." You both shared a loving smile before sharing kiss.

The rest of the evening was pretty tame ending with the two cuddled on the couch his head resting on your chest, and as you wrapped your arm around him pulling him closer you could feel him get stiff. You looked down at about to ask him what was wrong when he sat up and looked at you. His eyes were wide as if he realized something, and he did.

"I know what the memory meant now." He cupped your face with both hands his face morphing into one of love and adoration "Your my long-lost love......We were married when I was Pharoah. Many disagreed, but it mattered not to us because we still had each other." His right thumb rubbed your cheek as his he got closer to you "Much like now, and I couldn't be happier."

You shared a loving kiss the quickly grew heated. So without a second thought you stood up taking Atem with you "Let's finish our Valentines day with a special moment." He nodded all to eagerly ready for whatever adventure you were going to take him on.

chapter summary; just like you, a certain spirit has memories of a life once lived. you’re oh so familiar to him but he can’t figure out how. what could it all mean?

a/n; wow, it’s been a hot minute since i posted something. in the space of a few months i’ve gotten a new job which i’m so grateful for. on top of that, i’ve had covid so i’ve been feeling out of sorts recently. any who, here’s the new chapter of tested by time!

"Good morning, (y/n)!".

A sudden yet bright voice caught your attention as you looked around the hallway, smiling softly when you eventually found the owner in amongst the crowds. Lifting your hand, you waved to them as you approached the person and the small group surrounding them. Usually, you'd walk with your friends but today, after what happened, you decided to take a detour and walk a different and longer route to get there. Something that helped you immensely whenever you needed to reset your mind and thoughts.

“Good morning, Yugi!".

A petite male rubbed the back of his head as he smiled at your greeting making you smile as you started chatting away to you about various subjects you both shared today. Even if he was slightly behind due to forgetting someone of the work needed that counted towards the final grade of the year. With a warm smile, you patted him gently on the shoulder, words of encouragement sounding from you as told him not to worry, he'd have no problems catching up. A subtle shade of pink showed on his cheeks as you giggled, taking a second to elbow Joey in the gut in response to the words you caught him muttering. All while that smile never left your face. "That's a warning. Next time, I'll make sure I go lower than that, m'kay?".

The groan you got in response from the blonde made you snort slightly as you turned to your locker, placing what you needed in as you sorted yourself out for the day ahead, changing your shoes and grabbing your books. The sound of your locker closing was drowned out by the shouts of your friends encouraging you to catch up. Looking to your side, you saw Yugi waiting. With a smile, you nodded your head and walked forward, heading to the first room of the day.

Stern-like unseen eyes watched you closely as their owner tried to convince themselves, the more they saw you, that you were a mere coincidence. That all the years, millennia even, they had been locked away has made them a little too out of touch with everything. Of all the places in the world, you happened to be right where their vessel and partner were. The likeness was unbelievably strong the more they saw you. It was madness, they were sure of it. This modern world had played tricks on their mind. For what felt like months they had been plagued by dreams and visions of a past life, a life they can't remember living. Yet they somehow felt familiar to them.

Two souls who were connected in more ways than one, even something as strong as time couldn't keep them apart had been something that they had overheard the young host and his grandpa talking about but it wasn’t true, was it?

The semi-soft breeze mixed with the setting sun made for a perfect alone moment as the Kingdom’s citizens began to slowly wind down ready to rest for the night. Their tomorrows consisted of the same old but enjoyable routines. One of the many things they wouldn't change about their village.

Gentle eyes surveyed around again as hands rested on the wall in front of them. A gentle hum sounded as they took a moment to enjoy being just a regular person, away from the hustle and bustle of the building behind them. Life had been a bit of a whirlwind and to say it was hard to adjust was a slight understatement. From being a normal village girl and the unconventional best friend of the young Prince to being his wife came as a challenge. The whispers from the darkest parts and those who didn't support them reached her every so often but not one she was about to back down. She made sure she was going to show everyone who was in the wrong and it certainly wasn't her. Even when the ones who despised the young Pharaoh would try to drip nothing but lies into the innocent citizen's ears, they chose to ignore them. After all, they all adored everything about the young couple. "(e/n)?".

Looking over her shoulder at the sound of her name the young woman smiled and stood upright, manoeuvring herself to lean against the wall she has been looking over a few moments before. Her soft smile never left as the second figure joined her. Looking to her side, she placed her hand on his and offered a small squeeze at the look he wore. "My Pharaoh, I thought you were still busy with plans for the new moon ahead?".

Raising a brow the young king rolled his eyes slightly at the greeting from his wife, taking a moment to pull her into him so she faced him. He could tell this was all still new to her, that she was frightened she’d slip up at some point, despite everything that they discussed in the days leading up to and after their wedding. Still, old habits die old and she'd been so used to addressing him in another matter for so long. "(e/n), I said it was okay to use my name when we are alone. I know it's still scary but trust me, my lotus, you're doing amazingly so please, stop fretting yourself".

A hand cupped her cheek as she closed her eyes, letting a soft sight slip past her lips. He was right but still, she felt out of place like she didn't belong at all. Some of the rumours surrounding her sudden arrangements took her by surprise, like how she was nothing but a common whore who'd managed to seduce the young King to get what she wanted. Slipping into his bed to trap him for an eternity, ensuring no one else would be able to take his heart. She tried not to let them bother her but sometimes, it felt a little too much for her. "I know, ---, it's just I feel a little out of place sometimes. Plus the rumours, they don't help much. It's like I don't belong here. I~".

A thumb over her lips helped hush her words for a moment, eyes softening as she looked at the ones that she fell in love with many years ago. Her heart hurt, almost feeling as if it could shatter to pieces at the misery she has caused daily for the Pharaoh but yet, there he was still by her side regardless. "If you didn't belong here then I wouldn't have fought so hard to have you ruling by my side, fought so hard to have no one other than you as my wife, regardless of everything that was thrown at me in terms of laws besides~".

His voice trailed off for a moment, a brief pause as his hand moved down her side and over the skin of her torso, resting on her stomach just above where he hoped for their future to begin. Soft touches of anticipation for the next chapter of their lives. "If the Gods bless us, I wouldn't want to start the next chapter of my life with anybody else, my lotus".

"Yami? Are you okay there?".

The sudden intrusion of the voice of his host caught the spirit by surprise. He didn't expect him to still be standing in an almost empty hallway while their group of friends had walked up ahead. Usually, the small boy would have walked ahead but the fact the spirit of his puzzle was almost frozen in mid-air made him worry a little more than he would have normally if there was something wrong. Blinking a few times, the spirit come around and looked at the young boy, holding that same stern gaze he had what felts like hours ago. "I am. Please don't worry yourself, Yugi".

Narrowing his eyes slightly, Yugi looked to where the spirit of his puzzle was. He knew, better than anyone else at this point, that the spirit had been having a hard time lately. Not only could he hear him muttering to himself at times, but due to their connection through the Millennium Puzzle, he could also feel what he was feeling. Something seemed to be bothering him but he couldn't place his finger on it just yet. Still, he was determined to get to the bottom of why the other him was feeling the way he was. "Are you sure? Just you seemed to be distracted when (y/n) showed up". The sweet boy, the spirit could appreciate the concern of his. He'd be worried too if it was the other way around, but for now, until he was more sure of what was happening, he wouldn't weigh him down with his concerns. Even if it took a few more months, or even longer, to figure things out then he would keep that to himself. Besides, he couldn't let it affect his host too much, he had enough to be dealing with. "I'm fine, I'm sure. It's something I need to figure out for myself first, so please, don't worry yourself Yugi".

Offering a rare smile, the spirit retreated to the confines of the Millennium puzzle, more so to his mind room. Taking in a breath, Yami let it out softly as he began looking around again, he felt like he was at home but not at the same time. Walking forward, he opened a door of one of the many rooms and took a set upon the soft furnishing inside. Something about those memories seemed familiar to him but something wasn't right, something more was missing. He couldn't place his finger on it just yet. Could these dreams and visions be of a life he once lived with someone who looked similar to (y/n)?

Not that he could remember much, all there was for him was a blank whenever he tried to look further back. His most recent memories go back to the day that Yugi had solved the puzzle, the day his spirit awoke from the cold darkness he had felt for so long. Deciding not to dwell on it too much, he shrugged it off. He'd try and figure it out another day. Perhaps Yugi knew some way of helping him remember his past a little more. Whatever that could be, he knew it was a starting point but he would bring it up later.

Right now, he just wanted to spend some time alone and away from everyone. That he did, unaware that the very girl he kept seeing felt and saw the same things he did.

Yugi is more of a sees you and is fascinated by you but doesn’t make any moves to know you personally, at least not yet. He’ll first be entranced by your smile, which his first encounter when you defeated Joey when he went round challenging every person in his site.

(And ultimately loosing most of them you know how it is-)

Anyway-

Poor yugi baby doesn’t even realise his eyes are constantly in your direction, and his thoughts plagued with you until Yami mentions it to him, and even then it takes him a few days to come to terms with it

(Which Yami is super confused about cause ain’t yugi supposed to be about oooo Friendship ooo duel monsters and the such?)

And if you thought that was hard to believe, he doesn’t even realise that he’s interested in you, like, at all smh

God help when Joey introduces you to the rest of the gang,, cause tri head over here will be all over you without even meaning to smh,, bb just wants you to be safe and sound with him and he ion even know why silly boy

(Does he even realise?)

And even after he starts to feel foreign negative emotions when he sees you get flustered from a comment Duke made

This boy deadass thinks everything he does that involves you is helping you in some way or is how you should be treated smh

My guy KNOWS that No guy, girl, or non binary person deserves you, so of course he finds it within himself to keep you tucked safely within his grasp<3

But you’ll need more than the Egypt gods to help you if you ever mention that he’s making you even remotely uncomfortable because sissy, it won’t work out in your favour smh

Sweetest dad alive

When you told him that you had a kid he got a little bit awkward but has really happy

When he met your kid he tried to bond with him the best he could but your kid didn’t exactly feel the same way

Even through all that, he loves your kid so much and would do anything for them

Ok let’s talk about when he first met your kid

You guys were most likely dating for at least 2 months before you told him about your kid

He was fine with it of course and was the one to bring up meeting them

You said yes and he ended up coming over to your place to meet them

When you told him you had a five year old he expected a giggly happy little kid not really a stoic, lazy but cuddly to you and only you kid

As soon as you got home they latched right on to you paying absolutely no attention to Yugi

Both you and him tried to make your little one be more talkative towards Yugi but they didn’t budge

You both just blamed it on tiredness and ended up moving one thinking it would be different the next time

It wasn’t-

Yugi tried his hardest to make your child like him especially after he knew that you and him were getting serious

Eventually he dropped the ways that he used to do and tried a new tactic

It worked too

Your kid will never probably love Yugi the way they love you but they have a special place in their heart for him

They love Yugi and Yugi loves them back

Yugi is the type of dad who will always be there for them and care for them even if they act like cruella towards him

God forbid if they ever act that way towards you

They both call you the boss because honestly it’s true

Yugi is the type of dad they know they can manipulate and make use of that

Oh and if they call him dad or along those lines oh my god Yugi would anything

Stoic af

Even though he is stoic he really is trying to show happiness in the situation

When you told him you had a kid we was cool with it but his face showed otherwise

Honestly when you talked to him about it later on in your relationship you told him you thought he was going to murder you for it because he looked so angry

Unlike with Yugi, your kid was actually excited to meet Yami

They were in the age were they don’t exactly realize your dating someone even though you told them a million times

They look at something and just see it as what it is

They don’t think when they see your boyfriend ‘Oh that’s their boyfriend!’

They instead think ‘Oooo new stranger that will be my friend’

Taking that to mind you can tell that they just look a take a note of things physically right in front of them

So you can imagine the once happy child now pouting because Yami looks like a bully

The once possible bridge to a friendship between the two instantly shattered

You tried to help bring them together but Yami was to quite during it and your kid was throwing a tantrum

Your child especially hated Yami because instead of acting like how you act during their little tantrums by just staring at them or picking them up Yami just walks away

I mean in his defense he’s trying

But I mean he’s used to the ancient Egyptian type way

Eventually after getting yelled at enough by you Yami no longer left the room and instead just took a seat like you and stared right at your kid

It’s obvious the child years for Yami were rough

He was a very quiet and reserved dad who instead of playing football or volleyball with them instead taught them hieroglyphics

The teen years were a little better for him

They stilled never called him dad though

You child picked up a little bit of his personality by staying relatively quiet when home and never really going out to parties

Your child has a better liking and understanding of Yami now

So their not as hard on him like they used to be

Which Yami misses

Yami became the type of parent who would drive your child to there date and pick them up and unknown to them, shall from behind sending pictures to you

He’s a sweet but quiet father

“Yami?”

“Hey Sweets, how are you?”

“Good. Why are you following my date and I around exactly?”

“Getting a scope of the land for… reasons.”

“Do I need to tell you know who.”

“They already know.”

He’s the type of dad to get you ice cream in the morning

He was dating you for 2 weeks before you told him you had a kid

You didn’t let him see them until a week later

He was so excited to meet your kid

They dreaded having to meet your freshly new boyfriend

But as soon as they did, they immediately lived him

He’s such a fun guy that it’s hard to hate him

A day after he met your kid he came back and took them out to the arcade where he spent all his money on them

There is literally nothing he wouldn’t do for this kid

Spend all his money on games? Go for it

Using him to get close to his friends? Just spend some time with him

She stays for dinner a lot of the time and talks and boys but in a kind of oblivious ‘they have a crush on me but I don’t realize’ way

Joey could argue that she’s there more than he is

He taught your kid how to play duel monsters and your kid absolutely despised it

But they beat him in duels so it doesn’t matter that much

Hurt his ego a little bit though

You three will literally cuddle in bed all day with Joey half way off the bed and no blanket covering him

Do you think you would tell the little one to scoot over I’m kind of falling off here…”

“No can do. They do what they want to do.”

Did not care at all that you had a kid

He could not care less

When you first told him you had a kid he was working on his desk and his face did not change at all

He said alright and moved on from the situation

Eventually he met your kid and it was the weirdest meeting ever

Neither one of them was particularly thrilled in meeting the other but they did it because you told them to

They just stood at each other for the whole visit

Over time they got closer

Thanks to Mokuba

He was so sweet and got your kid to love him a lot

In two hours your child already thought of him as a big brother

That was one of the steps towards getting your kid and Seto to like each other

The other one was that you literally forced them together every 2 seconds

Thought you were having a nice dinner with just Seto? No you brought your kid along

Just going to chuck-e-cheese with your kid? Seto and Mokuba got invited to

He’s a very stoic father figure

If you could even call him that

He says he hates his father but he acts just like him ngl

While Seto and your kid ‘bonded’ so did you and Mokuba

But you and Mokuba actually did bond

You have the best time with Mokuba whenever he stops by

Sometimes the house is just so empty that he comes to your house and lays in your guest room playing video games while listening to you talk or watch tv with your kiddo

Or he would ask you to come over to Seto’s house

The teen years for your kid helped them bond with Seto

He was definitely the how to dad

He never shows emotion just told you what to do about things

He would force your child into things and not even once say that he was proud but at least he was doing stuff with them

It made you mad a lot of the times

Sometimes you wanted to honestly break up with him but then you remembered Mokuba and how much you love him

I would not be surprised if your kid once thought you loved Mokuba more

“Seto?”

“Yes.”

“How do I use the air fryer?”

“I just sent you a video, then follow the instructions.”

“Oh I just thought… never mind.”

“Seto! You can’t treat them like that! Go show them it face to face.”

“Fine.”

“I swear to got— Mokuba if it wasn’t for you me and him would be over with.”

Aster: You hear someone say to a boy with brown hair not too far from you "Nice to meet you Jaden my name is Aster." Aster said. You walk over and he sees you. "Hi there my name is Aster." Aster said. "Hello my name is y/n." You said.

Jack: Your really good friends with Yusei. One day while you were helping Yusei with his Duel Runner he says: "Hey y/n I want you to meet my best friend Jack." Yusei said. "Sure Yusei." You said. 5 minutes later... "Jack this is one of my really good friends his name is y/n." Yusei said. "Nice to meet ya y/n." Jack said. "Nice to meet you too Jack." You said.

Jesse: You see Jaden talking to a boy with blue hair and a southern accent. "Hey y/n, this is my friend Jesse!" Jaden exclaimed. "Pleasure to meet ya y/n." Jesse said.

Seto: "Hey dweeb, come here." someone said. I walk over to him. "The names Seto Kaiba don't forget it." Seto said.

Jaden: You were running late to class. You're not watching where you're going and you bump into someone with a red uniform on. "Oops sorry. Nice to meet ya the names Jaden Yuki. Whats yours?" Jaden asked. "My name is y/n." You said.

Yugi: I'm walking to my first class when- "Oops sorry I didn't mean to bump into you." A boy with tri colored hair said. It's alright. My name is y/n. Whats yours?" You asked. "My name is Yugi." Yugi said.

Chazz: You're a Slifer red. You're walking down the hall and you hear someone say: "Hey Slifer slacker." I turn around and notice he has spiky black hair. "You're new here. Just telling you I'm the Chazz!" Chazz exclaimed.

Zane: Todays your first day at Duel Academy you have short hair and are about average height. You walk around on the island looking for anyone that could show you the way to the Obliesk blue dorm. Finally you see a tall guy with dark blue hair and you walk over to him and look up. "Excuse me sir... do you know where the Obelisk blue dorm is?" You ask. The dark blue haired male nods "Yes I do I can show you the way if you want. I'm Zane Truesdale." Zane said. "Oh it's nice to meet you Zane I'm Y/n L/n." You said Zane had a frown on his face. "Its nice to meet you too Y/n I'll lead you to the Obliesk blue dorm since we are in the same dorm" Zane said pretending to be unfazed by you.You nod happily as Zane leads you to the Obliesk blue dorm a thought goes through Zanes head. Midsummer Texts

Fandom: Yu-Gi-Oh Characters: Yugi Muto & Yami Yugi Prompt: Yugi has a crush but has no idea how to talk to her. Yami offers to chat with Yugi’s crush over text. Confusion and chaos ensues as feelings go wayward.

A/N: I suck at writing romance, but this blog is a good excuse to start practising. I’m not quite decided whether this will end up to be a Yami x reader or a Yugi x reader. Maybe I will do both and make it a choose-your-own-adventure?

Once more an AU where Yugi and Yami are twins.

**Duel Online is something I came up with and totally did not name after Duel Links. Since I don’t play DL and have no idea how it works I’m going to create my own game so that I can mess around as I like without judgement. ( ‾́ ◡ ‾́ )

There was confusion, there was shock, and there was utter mortification. There in the queue in front of the pizzeria you had confessed, with the crowd surrounding you as a witness.

“[Name],” Yami sighed, rubbing the back of his head as he wondered how to react. How was he supposed to respond? There was no guideline in how to reject your brother’s crush. There was no way this could end without anyone's feelings being hurt.

“I know, you were trying to push Yugi to get closer to me,” you quickly cut in, your face slowly growing all sorts of shades of red, your eyes trembling as you tried to look anywhere but his face. Your fist balled as you will yourself to continue, to hold it together and see through what you had started.

“I know, I understand now,” you sighed, searching for your words, your thoughts in shambles as you tried to grasp on whatever passed, whatever comprehensible thought you had that was relevant for now, ignoring the panic that your mind was trying to see through, the worst-case scenarios that you were imagining yourself.

Taking in a deep breath you lifted your hand, signing to Yami to keep quiet for a little longer, not wanting him to interrupt you yet as you continued to formulate your next words.

“At first I misunderstood. It was always you who filled in the silence, you who approached me. And I supposed I should have figured it from the moment Yugi sent me that DM,” you started, suddenly your words were barraging out, thundering down like a waterfall as you took in a sharp breath.

“In any case,” you sighed again, eyes blinking as you tried to compose yourself once more. “I don’t appreciate it. I get why, but if he --Yugi-- can’t come forward himself I don’t see myself…”

You trailed off after that, not knowing how to finish the sentence, not knowing how to end this conversation without making yourself seem like a fool, or callous, or without hurting the genuine feelings involved.

“At least this clears up your feelings for me!” you tried to cheer up, a bright faux-smile on your face as you faced the older twin. “Let’s order already, our turn is soon,” you filled in the silence as the other just stared at you contemplative.

Neither of you really knew how to deal with the situation, or what to say.

The mood between Yami and you hadn’t improved either when you returned with the pizza. While the rest of the group was chattering happily you had at large kept to yourself, maintaining a distance from the twins in particular.

It didn’t take long for the story to reach Yugi. The twins kept little from each other, and Yami in particular was especially bad in keeping anything from his sibling. It didn’t take a genius anyway that there had been something amiss, what with you switching groups and then the general soured mood you seemed to be in.

“[Name] said that, huh?” Yugi grimaced to himself painfully, his hands wringing into each other as his brother relayed the story. “I suppose there is a point made there,” he continued, heaving a sigh.

However, Yugi wouldn’t be Yugi if he had been deterred so quickly. He wouldn’t have made it to the top of Duel Monsters if he let bullies keep him down, and neither would he have made invaluable friends, or snapped Yami out of his reverie if the younger twin had simply given up so quickly.

“That just means that from now on I need to stand firm on my own legs, right?” the male spoke up to his brother, his eyes glistening in determination as he faced Yami, who seemed to look quite conflicted himself.

Yami hadn’t told Yugi about the confession, yet. He just couldn’t, for some reason and now that his brother finally had gained something that resembled confidence the older twin found himself lacking any confidence to spit it out.

“Don’t worry, Yami,” Yugi continued to chirp, an idea brewing up in his head as he reflected on your words. “I’m grateful for all of your help, but [Name] is right, I should have played open card from the beginning,” he spoke in conviction.

Meanwhile, in your own room you had come to a similar conclusion of your own. Though rejected, Yami had never outright rejected your feelings, though you figured that he would probably reject you in favour of his brother.

However, it wasn’t Yugi that you wanted and neither did you care much for who was giving leeway to whom. This was about you and your unresolved feelings, and if the experience with Yugi had taught you anything it was better to speak up than having to wait.

He was glad (Y/N) asked him to teach him how to duel. But he will make sure to protect him at all costs.

Seto refused at first. Said that “he was too dumb to understand it.”

(Y/N) expected that answer, and the comment didn’t even make him flinch. That’s just the personality he fell in love with.

But the second time he asked, Seto reluctantly agreed.

He had nothing better to do, he says.

Seto wasn’t too surprised at (Y/N)’s fast learning. It didn’t take him long to understand dueling.

After all, Seto was the one that would help (Y/N) whenever he had questions during one of his duels. (He was annoyed with the questions, but loved (Y/N) either way with the fascination of dueling)

Being a professional, he shouldn’t have felt so strongly about his teachings.

But he wanted to make sure that (Y/N) was better than him.

He didn’t like the idea, but it was the only way (Y/N) would be able to beat everyone else, whoever chooses to duel him.

As much as he wouldn’t like to admit, he enjoyed his time with (Y/N). Playing against each other.

Jack Atlas

Jack was the one that always wanted (Y/N) to start dueling.

Luckily, he agreed, and Jack was thrilled about it.

He gave his lover everything he knew about dueling.

He loved playing with (Y/N). Going against each other, and even giving him a challenge by going against someone else without his help.

Now that got (Y/N) angry towards Jack, since he lost the duel.

But Jack made it up to his lover by doing unspeakable things, and making sure he even beat Jack before going against someone else.

Also to the other person who requested smth a week ago give me a couple more days, I was being lazy af but I will post it eventually. Yugi Muto

Literally the most understanding person alive

I mean he had to get Yami to trust him and Yami is top tier trust issues

When you two met it was short and prompt

You guys were partners for a project and when he tried to talk to you were very quiet and never voiced your opinions about the project

It annoyed him a little but knew that you just needed time

Which he of course does

But even since that project he would also come up to you and talk to you even if you try to shoo him off

Eventually he somehow got you to start dating him but it still isn’t easy

He tries his hardest to help you but sometimes you just shut him out

Eventually he sat down with you and made you talk about everything

And I mean everything

He got you to spill eventually which was hard to say the least

After that you were still in the fence about telling him things but you usually would tell him everything

He loves you even if you don’t tell him anything though

Whenever you do he’s so proud of you

Even if it’s the littlest thing about your life

“What happened today?”

“Nothing.”

“Nothing?”

“Well… Tea told me that I looked pretty today. I don’t think she meant it though.”

You can only imagine how hard it was for you two to start dating

Honestly I’m not even going to get into it-

When you two started dating it was really hard

You both wouldn’t tell each other anything

It ruined your relationship a little bit

Eventually one of you had to break

It was a very slow break though

It started with just one of you starting to talk more and more about you like even if it’s small things

Soon the other one started to catch on subconsciously and do the same thing without them actually knowing it

Eventually one of you hinted to each other that it might be a good idea to afford therapy

You both hopped on the idea thinking you were only doing it for the other one

Couples therapy was hard

Especially when neither one of you were speaking you mind

It worked though

I mean only a little bit but still

You two try to have a little talking session which works surprisingly

Yami did get into a couples fights with you now and then about not being truthful and never telling him anything but it usually ends after an hour or so

Even through all of this you still love each other immensely

You both know that this won’t work for ever but for now you’re happy how you are

I honestly don’t know how and I don’t think he does either

When he met you at first you were very short a blunt but he just kept annoying you and eventually you guys got closer

Anywhere you were at he was at

He followed you like a kicked little puppy

But somehow by doing this it worked

Even if it was really small you were slowly starting to trust him more and more because you knew he wasn’t going anywhere

Honestly it got to the point where you called the cops on him because he was outside of your window with a black hoodie on

And you had no idea it was him

You thought it was some drug dealer or kidnapper

Safe to say you felt really bad about the whole cop situation

That was his chance to break your walls

He went inside with you and honestly kind of guilt tripped you until you broke and spilled all your feelings

But just because you broke didn’t mean you lost all of your walls

When you realized what he did you kicked him out and would ignore him whenever he came up to you

It went on like that until he apologized to you and you forgave him barely

You were still a little mad at him but we’re starting to let it go

Soon after it went back to how it was with him following you like a little puppy

When you guys started dating your relationship was already changed

You guys have been friends for way over a year and you weren’t as closed off about stuff

Not to say exactly that you trusted him fully

Even though you try

But more like some things you just feel like it’s right to keep to yourself

Which Joey understands and is really proud of your change

He also understands if you don’t want to elaborate further than needed in your views

Rudest one out of all the boys

He met you and somehow you two just were always with each other

You were probably the babysitter for Mokuba and since where every Seto went Mokuba went so you did too

You two ended up getting together and it was a mess at the beginning

Seto was really busy so you acted like you were really busy as well but in reality you weren’t

Just because he isn’t with you all the time doesn’t mean he doesn’t pick up on things

He always noticed how closed off you were and unwilling to trust him even after dating for more that 4 months

He knows that some of it is his fault because he’s never with you

But instead of being with you more he hired you a therapist

The only thing is you didn’t know they were a therapist

They slowly became your friend and you would share more and more and they would give you feedback

That was until you found out they were your therapist

You lost it on Seto

Yelling at him while he talked back in a stern voice telling you it was for your own good

You two fought for at least a week but you two also got closer during it

He’s starting to understand your boundaries more and is more nicer about things

And your trying to share more and not be closed off to him

“I didn’t think to tell you, Seto.”

“Why?”

You met when you both were younger and became close friends

That’s when he got a crush on you but honestly it was relatively small

He would always try and be around you but eventually you started to see each other less and less

There was a particular reason for it

It just kind of happened that way

Now you two met again around season two which made Yugi ecstatic

Yami was cool with you relatively

Joey not so much-

The moment he fell in love with you though

Some random person tried to steal his deck from his belt so you chased after them and not only did you get his deck back but you beat the hell out of them and got them to apologize to Yugi

His heart bursted out of his heart after seeing how much you care about him

He was smitten

He was definitely not the one who asked you out

He got to scared every time he tried because he knew if you didn’t like him back you wouldn’t be super nice about it lmao

It was you who asked him out

But it wasn’t anything to fancy

He came up to you while you were sitting at a cafe reading a book and sat down right across from you

He expected you to remember him but alas you didn’t lmfao

But even though you didn’t remember him you still offered him food and didn’t insist on him leaving

Honestly it was a little concerning considering the fact you thought he was a stranger

Somehow through all of this you guys became friends

Whenever he is in Domino City and not on his little journeys he goes out to a cafe with you

He tries to do this every Saturday but it doesn’t always work out with both of your schedules

He didn’t realize he was in love with you for a while

He was so confused at what he was feeling that he went back home and just sat oh his bed

He is much more closed off and private about pretty much everything to do with you

His friends didn’t even know about you until Yugi told them how Yami is dating someone

He doesn’t say it out loud that he loves you or engage in to much physical affection but he does always bring and buy you stuff

Anything he sees that he think you’ll like he’ll buy

Unlike Yugi, when he makes you food he doesn’t mess it up

Honestly probably the best food you’ll ever have in your life

It’s usually for special occasions only

When you two do cuddle it’s mostly in bed with you both about to go to sleep and spooning each other with you as the big spoon and him as the little one

Every new place he goes to he brings something back for you if you don’t want to go along

He invites you to every one of his matches

He is very quiet and reserved speaking wise but you can usually tell what he’s thinking based off his body language

Will watch anything you want with you while eating popcorn and other unhealthy food

He also got you this really expensive ring for Christmas

“Yami… you shouldn’t have.”

“I wanted you to know how much you mean to me.”

“I know but this! This is so…”

“Lovely? I don’t understand do you not want it? I can get you another if you would like.”

This man fell for you the moment he met you… literally.

It what gots your attention so he’s not really complaining

He honestly thought whenever you two would meet you were flirting with him but in reality you were being normal

He would always flirt back which you noticed but decided on not saying anything

While he had a ‘flirty’ relationship with you and like you he didn’t love you

Until you and him went to the arcade-

You were competing against him in one of the games and when you won you let out a deep laugh making him start to laugh as well

It made him realize how much he enjoys you and he wants to be with you forever

You’re the person that makes him happy after all

As soon as he realized that he asked you out which you replied with a short yes and told him you’re going to be at one of the shooting games

He honestly didn’t know if he should be happy or sad

I mean you said yes but then you acted like him asking you out wasn’t a big deal

When he confronted you on it probably more angry than he needed you just told him you knew he liked you and expected it

He got a little bit embarrassed over that

When you two start dating he’s really sweet and dresses to impress but as time goes on he becomes the type of boyfriend that will come into your home grab your chips and watch tv with you with his stained shirt and sweatpants

Not that your complaining

He always buys you gifts when he can but he’s kind of broke so there definitely a little bit trashy

He’s usually staying at your house at night and will sleep in holding onto you tight so when you wake up you can’t go anywhere

He’s a very cuddly person and always wants your arm wrapped around him whenever and wherever

He introduced you to his sister a moth or so after you two started dating and it was safe to say she loved you

Even if she didn’t understand you

He’s also nervous that you’ll leave him for someone else so he gets jealous really quickly

If you are involved in sports like football or soccer or wrestling he’ll be cheering you on from the sides yelling something like ‘WOOOOO IM DATING THE ONE IN WHITE YEAH BABE YOU GO’ ‘Joey they’re all in white…’ ‘YUGI SHUSH’

Whenever he’s dueling the thing that keeps him going is you

You and him go out to dinner whenever you guys can

You’re the one that pays for it though

He will honestly cheer you on if you decided to beat someone up

As long as you had a good reason

“Yeah Baby you got this!”

“Didn’t you say you were heading home Joey?”

“Don’t focus on that focus on those pedos!”

“Will do hun. Do you want to join me? Your getting very close.”

He hated you when he first met you

You two got off to a bad start

He was working at a cafe when you came close and tripped spilling your coffee over him and his computer

You were dared by Mokuba even though you had no idea who either of them were

Since you were pretty much broke and couldn’t afford to pay for the stuff (which was over $7000) he just hired you instead

That honestly did not help

You just kept bugging him and asking him questions about the job

The only reason he didn’t fire you immediately is because he thought you were suffering while working for him (even though you were having a great time and he was the one suffering)

It was unexpected to fall in love with you

You were walking home when you saw a couple boys surrounding Mokuba

When you saw one of the boys hit him you stepped in scaring the kids off

You saw that Mokuba had a bruise forming on his check and his clothes were ripped

Since your house was so close you just took him home to get him fixed up and gave him some clothes that were to big for him so he ended up looking like Jesse Pinkman

You called Seto and when he answered he was a little agitated because Mokuba was no where to be found and he thought you would be asking about how to work the printer again

But when you told him how you had Mokuba all the agitation in his voice decimated

He let a soft that I you a hanged up only 5 minutes later he showed up at your door even though you never told him your address

When he saw you he just got this feeling that he couldn’t explain

It wasn’t until you asked him if he wanted to get coffee did he realize what he was feeling

He wouldn’t be surprised if he had hearts in his eyes for you

He told you he liked you a day later and you two started dating

The beginning of the relationship was a little awkward because of how little both of talk

It helped that you understood Seto’s schedule so you ok with him coming home really late in the night

He buys you a lot of things that you probably don’t need

You always watch over Mokuba instead of the guards when he can’t

When he does come home on time he always leaves super early in the morning

Whenever he comes home late he always climbs into bed with you

“Seto?”

“Did I wake you? I’m sorry go back to bed.”

“It’s fine. I was waiting for you but I got tired.”

“I can see that.”

“Mokuba is asleep in the other room.”

“I’ll bring him home in the morning.”
