I fear that I will never find a balance.

My emotions and beliefs continuously go up down leaving me to feel more in touch with only half of me rather than my entire being.

Existing just to exist.

Through the blistering cold and God forsaking heat I wander the earth with bits of my soul missing.

In hopes of finding the broken pieces so I can put it back together.

The thing is I’m actually terrified to find what I’m missing.

I know but I don’t know what I’m looking for.

This state of confusion hurts me and it makes me question things.

What if the other half isn’t worth discovering?

What if I hate what I find?

What if it was all for nothing and I have to keep wandering?

L stands for lost.

As in all the time lost trying to have a connection with somebody who won't offer anything, but temporary good vibes.

Yet, we keep on trying, because being alone is a phobia.

O stands for obdurate.

The adjective that's comes to mind when describing the heart of the introvert.

We show resistance to any tender feeling, so we don't get hurt like that one time we didn’t trust our gut when it said, "I don't think is a good idea," because that person seems to have a hidden agenda.

That was like sending a pig to a slaughter. Our poor heart was killed for others consumption.

V stands for vanity.

A new quality of worthlessness that we acquired from being alone during the coldest winter nights.

All we wanted was a blanket.

One that’s woven together by loves threads and given to us along with the heart of the person we desire.

E stands for exiled.

The heart has been banished from the body.

Put on display for the eyes of other to see. All weaknesses have been exposed to the public.

The only thing left is for the leeches to exploit it and use your pain against you.

I had brothers that LOVED me so much they would willingly take the biggest rock they can find and crack my skull open like Cain did Abel.

Stood over my lifeless body and watched as my soul ascended to the heavens.

The only thing they had to say for themselves was "we did you a favor."

I had women who every time we locked lips it felt like I was French kissing a loaded pistol.

One false move and your brains will be splattered all over the wall, because hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I tried so hard to be delicate when LOVING them.

Their hearts were fragile like fine China yet each one is so different and unique.

I died at least 5 different times for being a bull in a China shop.

LOVE is one of life's greatest weapons, but don't think for one moment it won't hurt you.

There have been thousands and thousands of people who lost their head while wielding this double edge sword.
