pt. 2

Sirius: would burn water if possible. horrible, terrible cook (makes the best cocktails though)

James: teaches Regulus about hoodies only to steal them the second they smell like him (only times he’s seen wearing green)

Remus: didn't start wearing old man jumpers until his dad's started fitting him around year 4. he never stopped after that

Peter: terrified of chocolate frogs. can't eat them. won't so much as have one near him outside its container.

Mary: she has all the gossip. it doesn't matter that the gossip in question happened 2 seconds ago, she already knows it

Lily: was a vodka girl up until New Year's Eve 1976. never again.

Marlene: is childhood friends with James and they hold an annual prank war where she allies with Effie and James with Monty over the hols

Regulus: by age 12, him and Sirius were fluent in German solely to shit talk in the house.

Barty: his first kiss (a peck, really) was Pandora on a dare (they do not speak of this). his first real kiss was Regulus (who was his gay awakening and crush for years)

Evan: fucking loves cats. is allergic to them

Dorcas: wears men's cologne

Pandora: doesn't really like being touched. Unless it’s one of the 10 people allowed to do so, then she will cling and never let go

Thanks for phrasing this so nicely it's quite sweet to not be threatened for once haha

I don't...mind it? Like when they appear in fics I'll usually just skip over it but that's more the fact I have a hyper-specific version of them in my head that I never see anywhere so I just avoid content for them bc it doesn't appeal to me.

Sometimes I'll look at fanart and go 'Ahhh that's perfect' but if I try to find something else for them like a fic, edit, or headcanon (it doesn't matter how amazing the content is) it doesn't fit the really small, specific conditions in which I personally can like them

here’s the headcanon that i posted about a few days ago! enjoy and let me know if you like it :)

- they meet for the first time at the back to school open house

- teddy and harry are in the same 1st grade class

- remus goes over to sirius james and lily becauee they are the only other young ones

- everyone else is in their late thirties to early forties and they’re chilling in their mid 20s

- “hi, i’m remus and i think you all are the only other people under thirty here heheh”

- “hi, remus! i’m sirius, that wonderful kid’s godfather” *points to harry*

- “i’m lily and my husband over there is james. we’re the idiots who granted this doofus with his title”

- “oh teddy over there is my son.”

- sirius flirts a bit (as one does)

- tonks comes over and loops her arm through remus’s since they’re friends

- “hi! sorry i would’ve come over with rem but i was in the restroom”

- more conversations about kids and names and introductions etc

- at the end, james invites remus and tonks out to dinner with him lily and sirius to get to know them since they seem cool or to have harry and teddy talk more or something idk

- james lily and sirius are on one side of the table and remus tonks teddy and harry are on the other

- they make polite conversation

- tonks senses that sirius was put out by her presence before bc it meant remus was unavailable

- so she fixes the situation a bit

- “oh my god! remus, do you remember that one terrible date i went on a couple weeks ago? with that one girl amanda? we went here! i knew it was familiar!”

- remus laughs and they tell the table about the awful date with amanda and how she wouldn’t stop talking about the ducks at the local pond

- much laughter

- james (who is def aware of sirius’s new crush): “wait so you and remus aren’t together?”

- remus: “oh no definitely not haha. after we came out to each other it was pretty clear it wouldn’t work out”

Chef wolfstar like at a restaurant

Okay so I know this was a fic prompt but I’ve got writers block at the moment so imma do some headcanons bc I do really like this idea, thank youuuu @justdyingontheinside :)

So I’m totally picturing wolfstar opening a restaurant together now

Sirius would be the head chef, very bossy and implementing clear instructions that no one was to stray from

He would walk through the kitchen and peer over the chef’s shoulders to make sure they were doing it right

And Remus would trail behind him, tasting sauces and and dishes, adding random sprinkles of herbs and spices every now and again

“Some more flour might help”

“Remus, the instructions are clear—“

“Ignore Sirius, some more flour might help. Oh, and some oregano in the sauce,”

*eye rolls from a certain Mr Black*

He’d be bossy but at the same time, Sirius would throw the best work parties and outside of his *head chef* duties, everybody would love him to death

Sirius would be ‘in charge’ of the running of the restaraunt, things like decor, events, cooking

Remus would be ‘in charge’ of the books, the looking through resumès and pricing

They’d share the load though

Remus and Sirius would drive home from work talking about all of the worst customers that day

Remus would wake up in the middle of the night with an idea for a menu change and he’d shake Sirius awake

They would have live music in their restaurant too

They’d hire buskers around the city or their friends who they knew were way talented

Sometimes Sirius would even go on stage himself and sing a song along to his guitar

And Remus would watch, smiling and distracted from whatever task he was supposed to be doing

Oh and they ate so unhealthily at home

Both of them would be working late nights

and by the time they would get home they were mostly full from all the snacking and tasting

So they junked out on cake and chocolate and heat up meals

But their dates would always consist of beautiful home made meals

Sometimes they’d close the restaurant for the night and just the two of them would eat

Or they’d close it for James and Lily or Dorcas and Marlene

Speaking of, Dorcas and Marlene would 100% run the bar together

James would be a waiter, all apron and bow tie and charming smile

He would always manage to get couples to order more wine or convince a table to stay for dessert

Lily would help with the books and she’d also just burst into the kitchens every few days and start working even though she technically wasn’t hired there

And eventually, when Harry came along, James and Lily were too busy to be making themselves dinner and running around a restaurant

So almost every night, Sirius and Remus would close up the restaurant after making a feast’s worth of food and they’d bring it over to James and Lily’s house

They’d all sit on the living room floor, watching tv

Harry would curl up with his uncles

And they’d watch movies and eat all the leftover food, happy and content

Oh and Sirius and Harry most definitely 100% had godfather-godson baking bonding days where they’d both wear tacky chef hats and fall on the couch after batches and batches of Sirius’ specialty cookies, covered in flour and exhausted

Lol guys I’m currently thinking about Remus. (Yeah naomi you do that all day 🙄)

But imagine after a full moon it has been a pretty bad one. And he is laying in bed with Sirius in the dorm. He tells Sirius “I don’t want to die, I just don’t want to live like this.” While crying (mind you Remus Isn’t one to cry). “Oh moony.” Sirius grabs moonys chin making him meet Sirius’ eye, “I love you, and you deserve the world.” He says meaning it kissing him desperately.

I already posted it but I can't stop thinking about this! wolfstar au in which The Marauders are a punk rock whatever band and at the end of a concert Sirius starts playing alone this song called “i’ve known you since forever" and slowly James and Peter join in with their instruments and Remus doesn’t know what is going on until the song ends and Sirius is like "I’m in love with you, ya know" and the whole audience stands up to clap
