but could we meet by the first of july
Rating: T / PG-13
Campaign Setting: Eberron / Around Khovaire in Fifty Days
Summary:
'It's not as bad as it looks.'
'Really, cause it looks pretty bad.' Monty was a bit surprised she had even answered. Her soulmate had been quiet for quite some time now. 'My MOM even stopped me to ask if you were okay.'
A few beats go by. 'And did she also notice the hickeys all over your neck the other day?'
[lord I've been prayin', for somebody I've never seen]
-
[content warning for various injury related scars]
i told myself I would never write a soulmate au, like i just never wanted to go there y’know, but the tried and true "you share the same markings on your skin as your soulmate" works perfectly with aberrant marks and I couldn't put it down. We've never exactly dwelled on how our aberrant character feels about being so, so I wanted to take a shot at it going in the angsty route. Eberron created a really complex yet so very marginalized group of people, and I wanted to dig a bit into how unfair the world is for them.
not as many pc & npc cameos in this one, I tried a different style that's more serious & vague than usual - but apparently I've decided demetrius is my comic relief

Roxanne
She already loves Cassie before meeting you she met her father but not you so when you arrived late for Cassie's birthday she instantly fell in love, telling your daughter that your work wanted you stay a bit longer then usual and handing her a gift that she wanted
Afterwards Roxy learns that you and her dad were divorced due to some disagreements mostly about how much time he spends more at work then at home with Cassie or her, the wolf falling more in love with you by the way you cherished your daughter more then work and now she has a bigger chance of being with you
When she does get that chance she's very calm and charming about everything she does when she's dating you, but Roxy will make sure everything between you, her and Cassie are alright even if that means threatening your ex-husband when he thinks or tries to get in touch with you or Cassie
She won't let anyone or anything get between her and her family even if it means her own friends, she doesn't care what they say about her relation with you or how she's behaving to others
Glamrock Freddy
When Gregory came back to the Pizzaplex all fine and healthy he couldn't help but cry seeing his Superstar again hugging him tight then hearing someone calling him, that's when he saw you the most beautiful woman he ever seen Freddy can't help but fall deeper when he sees how much you love Gregory his fatherly in high gear
Upon learning what happened prior to the event of that night Freddy learns that Gregory ran away when his father tried to take him away and hurt his mom in the process, the bear couldn't help but become enrage just hearing how much his dad hurt him and you all he wanted to do was tear him apart
He does everything to show how much better he is at taking care of Gregory and you all the while showing why he's a better choice then others, Freddy will promise to protect both of you from everything and everyone that dares to come close
If he ever meets the man that hurt his family Freddy will make sure that he never touches or even gets in touch with them, the bear will make sure that no one knows where he went or what happened only if they looked in the garbage disposal
Monty
The gator himself became quite protective of Gregory since then however when you came to pickup the little man from Monty, he couldn't help but become enamored at the sight of you and they way you held Gregory sobbing at how much you're sorry that you left him at the Pizzaplex
He couldn't help but feel deep affection for how motherly and loving you are not only towards Gregory but to other kids, even though he isn't great with kids he tends to help you out when the kids starts to get rowdy becoming smitten when you lovingly thank him
Never thought of himself as a family kind of guy but when you and Gregory came into his life everything changed for the better or worse, his friends noticing his sudden change but not in good light seeing how if anyone tried to get close to you he'll snap and threaten said person or give them a death glare til they back off
This is the one good thing that came from protecting you and Gregory and he's not planning to let it go anytime soon, even if that means disposing any and all obstacles
NSFW Below
Roxanne
When you finally put Cassie to sleep is the time Roxy strikes immediately getting you railed up as you try and clean today's mess in your shared home, however it's getting harder to focus when Roxy keeps teasing you via passing touches or her tail trialing up your thigh even though she promised to help cleanup without any distraction
After you're both done with your chores Roxy will carry you up to your room all the while leaving love bites and scratches all over your body not even making it to the bed yet, but by the time you do you'll be out of breathe at how skilled she is with her mouth and hands while avoiding the area where you want to be touched
Thank God that you have soundproof walls because the sounds you're making are euphoric Roxy could come from just your moans, that won't just do not until she has you under her until dawn telling you how she's going to make you hers over and over, gonna make sure everyone knows you belong to her and how she's going to make you a mommy again
Doesn't even waste time taking off your clothes just rips them off with her teeth and claws not caring if they're your favorites clothes or not, feeling her own clothes restraining against as she touches you the bulge in her pants not helping as you feel it poke against your thigh
Everything went by in a blur one moment on your back as Roxy eats you out then on your knees sucking her cock, then on her lap as she bouncing you, on all four as she leaves more bites and finally in a mating press as she pins you down while tearing up your bed. The wolf praising you for taking her so well cumming for fourth time tonight as she forced her knot inside you pumping you full, not pulling out until the morning wanting to keep her seed inside you
Glamrock Freddy
He had to hold himself back all day craving you wanting you under him as he takes you over and over but Freddy has to keep himself restrained until then, unfortunately it doesn't help with the way that you move your body and how even the simplest things he finds very attractive like putting away laundry and cleaning dishes
Even at work the temptations are so hard to resist when you wear the Fazbear uniform hugging every curve that he can see, but the most attractive thing to him is when you interact with kids seeing the way you treat as if they're your own just makes him want you more
Freddy couldn't hold himself back anymore and asked you to meet him in the back of FazerBlast where he'll rip off the uniform and tenderly touching you, always teasing you by avoiding the most sensitives areas making you beg for more
Taking his time eating you out as you cover your mouth from moaning even though the sounds and music of FazerBlast can be heard loudly even in the backrooms, Freddy will remove your hands saying that he wants to hear your beautiful voice even if it means he gets in trouble for it
Dragging your fingers down his back as he thrusts into you hard and slow taking in the scene infront of him with your disheveled hair and makeup, the outline of his cock inside you visible as he fucks you against the wall, cum dripping out as he does
Monty
Can't and won't hold himself back as he touches you at every chance he gets even if in public and in front of friends too as if telling them to back off, even to the point where he slides his under your clothes no matter how many times you push his hand away with a snarky remark
Whenever you're near Monty will get handsy with you for a moment then move on to what he was gonna do leaving you flushed and embarrassed as you try to straighten yourself out, he'll do it in front of the person you're talking with maybe he'll even cut into your clothes a little around your legs and butt as if telling them that you're his and his alone
Getting you alone was the hard part but it didn't prove to be too difficult when Cassie invited Gregory for a sleepover at her place then your work giving you a half day letting you come home earlier then usual, when you arrive home he'll tell that Gregory is at Cassie for the weekend and that you both have the house to yourselves
Monty doesn't waste time as he rips off your clothes and taking you every in the house on the table, the couch, in the hallway and in front of the window, grunting about how he loves you that you're everything, he's everything that you'll need from now on
He won't stop until he knows you're full of his cum changing positions every now and then from standing to sitting, suspending you in his arms so you have no control to letting you top him, then afterwards Monty will put a plug in you for the day or at least until he ready for another round

thoughts while rewatching the pilot:
(happy 30th bday x-files 👽🛸)
scully is smiling and being adorable walking through the hoover building. guys, she is so happy about this new assigment.
i think it's so cute that both of them know each other beforehand - scully knows "spooky mulder" who caught monty props and mulder has read her senior thesis. they haven't even met and they're already obsessed with one another.
scully is literally smiling the whole time sparring with mulder in the basement. she was definitely unfulfilled teaching at the academy and has finally found someone just as smart as she is!
mulder is trying to be a jackass but not really succeeding bc he's so enamored by his new partner.
those plane seats look so big and comfy. what happened in the last 30 years?
scullys says "i don’t know, i’ve never had the pleasure" when mulder asks if she's ever exhumed a body. i think she may be speaking literally...(she's a weirdo at heart)
at the cemetery, mulder and scully are SO snarky to dr. nemmins - "we're not insinating anything sir" and "guy obviously needed a longer vacation" -- they are already best friends excluding the other kids at recess.
i've seen the pilot a bunch of times and finally got the steven spielberg joke (it's a reference to ET). i'm dumb ok.
it's been said before, but this pilot is so good. i recently watched the first episode of another procedural and it was pretty lackluster, especially compared to the x files. mulder and scully are interesing characters on their own, their chemistry is outstanding right off the bat, and the storyline of the episode is engaging.
i love how many great scenes we get between mulder and scully -- their initial meeting, the mosquito bite/motel scene, the cemetery rain scene. all of them develop the characters and their relationship in creative ways. we learn about mulder's sister and his mission and we see scully become invested in the x files even during their first case.
seeing my precious baby agents always makes me happy, especially when they are innocent in s1 so the pilot is always an enjoyable rewatch.
while i haven't been a fan for 30 years, i can definitely see myself enjoying this show for the next 30. it's timeless and i'm so so excited to see new fans enjoying my favorite tv show.

I can’t stop imaging when nightlight was abandoned what if when they were told not to follow they just stayed in that same spot waiting to be told they can come back home. Just sitting there on energy saving mode aka sleeping, covered in webs, dirt and rain socked clothes waiting for monty :(
Scheduled system reboot will begin in.. five hours.
What's going on?
You were on manual rest in Monty's bed after they had fallen asleep, rattled from slumber by someone messing with your controls. As the hatch in your chest clicks shut you look up to see their mother and father standing over you. The latter looks remorseful, the former - not so much.
"Nightlight, you are to stay here until we leave at dawn. Monty will be going through some... changes once we return home, and they can't have any distractions."
What? No! Monty doesn't like to take the ride back down alone. They're afraid of the roads without railings. And what about their night terrors? You need to be with them incase they get scared. They need you. You'll miss that kiss they give you whenever they wake up. You need them.
Your chest light turns blue. "I.... want to stay with Monty."
A scoff.
"Are you disobeying my command? Nightlight, you are ordered to-"
"That's isn't my name!" Hot, red light flickers across your luminous skin, bleeding into a weak purple hue as it reaches your heart. "I'm Y/n... I'm their nightlight, but I'm still their friend.."
"You are a toy. They will forget about you when they make real friends. Start a real family. This attachment to wires and plastic is unhealthy. If I had better sense I would take the axe back at the lodge and spilt your head in two."
"Honey... That's enough. They won't remember this in a few hours. Let them go in peace."
Your head falls as footsteps disperse into the white snowfall. You try to move, try to scream, but anytime your voice peaks over a certain volume it fizzles out. Your reboot is in five hours. Five hours....
You think about the first time you met Monty. They were shy, distant. Things your family warned you about. It only took two nights for you to become friends.
4....
You think back to the first time you slept in bed with them. Before, you simply slumped down in your chair or returned to the closet. They didn't like that, and wouldn't go to bed until you slept with them. You were so big you broke the frame. They couldn't stop laughing.
3.
You remember their first day of school. Monty didn't go to a public school until highschool unlike most kids. Their parents said they were special. Monty and you hid away in the room behind their bookshelf because they were so anxious. They didn't want anyone, but you.
2...
Monty is awake now. They're screaming your name. You remember the first time they said I love you.
1.
You're scared. You don't want to die....
System Reboot begins in 0..

OH GOD, EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING, EVERYTHING'S GOING ON-
I AM SCREAMING, KICKING, CRYING, RUNNING UP MY WALLS, DRAMATICALLY THROWING MYSELF ON THE GROUND AND WAILING-
FIRST SAMS FUCKING PUNCHES AND KNOCKS ME TO THE GROUND, AND THEN MGAFS GIVES ME THE FINISHING BLOW- FUCK EVERYTHING-
OH GOD, WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN-
First of all, we finally reunited with old Moon…BY GOD, DID I MISS THIS SNARKY BASTARD- I am so happy, to see him again!!! He's so nonchalant and blunt, especially towards people outside of his family- It makes me so nostalgic!! His similarlities to Eclipse are clearer than ever, honestly!
Everything about it just makes me so emotional, I can't even begin to describe it-
He's on that same old beach where he gave up his life, the same old beach where he showed empathy and compassion more than ever before, the same damn old beach where he was the more selfless than he'd ever been- It is making me sick to my stomach/pos
He still loathes himself so much, still looks down on himself and his mistakes. He has never been able to let go of it, he'll always hold on to the mistakes he made. One of these mistakes is leaving a part of his code behind, which in turn created Eclipse. His hatred for him comes from the hatred of himself, because Eclipse is the embodiment of everything he hated in himself.
But even though he hates himself, even though he buried himself underneath a mountain of mistakes, he will never regret protecting his family. He has always been a big brother, always been a protector, no matter what! Even after everything, they are the only thing on his mind. I'm going to fucking cry, man-
God, he adores them so much! Everytime he talked about them, I teared up!
He adores and treasures Sun with all of his heart, and only wishes for him to be safe and sound and happy! He knows his brother, knows he's blaming himself, and wants so badly to put a stop to it! But he can't, because that would involve a conversation, and he cannot bare to hurt him more than he already has.
He wants to thank Monty, who has been his emotional support, his best friend. Old Moon is anti-social, apathetic towards anyone outside of his family, even another version of himself, yet Monty got through to him, time and time again. Monty, in their own right, was family too! The two of them always got each other out of the gutter.
God, when he talked about Lunar and Earth, I legit started to cry a little-
He always wanted a sister. He always wanted a little brother. He wished he could've met them, wished he could've gotten to know them, wished to have loved them as much as he loved Sun!
He did know Lunar, but he never had the chance to truly get to know them. Everything he said about them is honestly just so sweet, and shows old Moon beyond his shell.
They were just a kid in a shitty situation, made with a purpose they never wanted.
Old Moon has a hard time caring for others, yet he looked at this child, who needed help and guidance, and took them underneath his wing without hesitation. Tragically, though, he always kept his distance. I don't think, he quite saw, how much they looked up to him. He always kept them at arms length, because he had hurt one brother, and was afraid to hurt another, afraid to open his heart. Yet, despite this distance, he would've ripped Eclipse apart for what he did, without mercy.
God, I can only imagine what his dynamic with everyone would've been like, especially with Earth, who is so incredibly different from him!
Old Moon is such an intriguing character to look at! Especially with how obviously different he is from New Moon!
I want to analyze him so bad, but my brain just won't cooperate👀
I'm really glad, New Moon got his reassurance though, and even learned from Old Moon, it seems!
Now, as for MGAFS….NO, GOD NO, PLEASE EVERYTHING BUT THIS-
THEY WEREN'T JUST SEPARATED- THEY WERE PERMANENTLY TORN APART, NEVER TO REUNITE AGAIN- THEY CAN'T DO THIS, I CAN'T HANDLE THIS-
BLOODMOON'S REACTION TO HIS BROTHER'S DEATH- HE TRIED SO HARD TO KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE, BUT THE MOMENT THEY TRIED TO LEAVE, HE STARTED YELLING- HE HAS NEVER BEEN ALONE, ALWAYS ONE HALF OF A WHOLE. NOW HIS OTHER HALF IS GONE, AND HE IS ALONE, AND HE WILL NEVER BE WHOLE AGAIN-
I ALSO READ YOUR INTERPRETATION OF BLOODMOON'S LAST LINE, AND IT HAS BROKEN ME- THEY COULD'VE BEEN GOOD. THEY COULD'VE BEEN FRIENDS. THEY JUST DIDN'T WANT TO BE CHANGED, DIDN'T WANT TO BE LIKED AS SOMEONE THEY'RE NOT. THEY JUST WANTED TO BE THEMSELF, YET THEY NEVER WOULD'VE BEEN ACCEPTED THAT WAY-
XERO, WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME-
-Stardust
YESSSSSYESYEYSES I DIDN'T TALK MUCH ABT THE TSAMS EP BC I GOT SO DISTRACTED BY MGAFS BUT EVERYTHING U SAID FOR REAL !!!!!! THE BEACH AND THE CONVO THEY HAD AND AAUAGGGHH
I was honestly so worried that there was going to be a sudden change in how Old Moon acted but seeing him just still wholeheartedly be him made me experience sooo many emotions. Like u said, the similarities between him and Eclipse are just wholly on display and it's like,, oh yea! you are who he stems from!
AND YEAH ALL HIS SENTIMENTS ABT MONTY + SUN + THE BROTHER N SISTER HE NEVER GOT TO KNOW. BURSTS INTO TEARS!!!!! For how little people he cared about, he made up for in caring about that small handful of people with his whole entire soul, even if that care could be convoluted and confusing and ultimately hurtful, he never wanted it to be like that. He just wanted the best :(
AND THEN THE LAST MESSAGE FOR NEW MOON AUGHHH I CAN'T EVEN. DIES EVERYWHEREEEE
AND THEN MGAFS. FUCK. I KNOWWWW I KNOW I KNOW IT FUCKED ME UP SO BADDD. THE FINAL BLOODMOON'S DESPERATE YELLING AT THE END FUCKED ME UP EVEN WORSE TO TOP IT ALL OFF I CAN'T EVENNNN.
AND SHAKES YOU SHAKES YOU THEY COULD HAVE BEEN SO EASY TO ACCOMMODATE FOR IT DRIVES ME INSANE!!! THEY WANTED CONTROL OVER THE ONE THING THAT IMPACTS THEM THE MOST, OF COURSE THEY WOULD HAVE DENIED ANYTHING ELSE!!!! THEY COULD HAVE HAD IT ALLLLL AAAAOAUHGHHHH

chapter five of "meddle about" series brian o'conner x reader
v. date night
"Damn girl!" Letty said as Y/n came down the stairs in a dress and heels. "Look at you lookin' all sexy."
"Thank you. Thank you." Y/n smiled, spinning around.
"Yeah, she better be sexy, took her five hours." Mia said, walking down behind her. "I had to beg her to leave the bathroom to go pee."
"Man, imma tell you this," Letty placed her hands on Y/n's shoulders. "he's gonna be so hard, he's not gonna be able to walk."
Mia scoffed, "Alright ew."
"Oh come on, I just know you wish you could get into Monty's pants." Y/n said.
"What?" Letty whipped around to Mia, who glared at her older cousin. Y/n escaped her cousin's wrath when she heard a knock on the door.
"Let's get the hell outta here." Y/n laughed as she pulled Brian away from the house.
"What? Why the rush?" Brian said, amused by her actions.
"Pissed Mia off. Just wanna get out of here before she burns me alive."
Brian guided her to his car before they set off to the restaurant. Once there, they were seated and ordered.
"So how is it, anyways that the--the gang came to be?" Brian asked, as their waitress left.
"The what?" Y/n let out a laugh.
"The gang." Brian furrowed his eyebrows, wondering why she was laughing.
"The gang? No, they don't call themselves a gang."
"Well, what do they call themselves then?"
"They're a team. They call themselves a team."
Brian leaned forward on his elbows, "All right, so how is it that the team came to be?"
"Well, that's a whole lot of history."
"I've got time." Brian smiled at her.
Y/n took in a deep breath, "Okay. So, Vince grew up with my cousin. Wait, no, actually he didn't--he didn't ever actually grow up. As you can tell. But, uh, they were friends as kids.
"And Letty was my best friend when I moved here, so that how she came into the picture. She was always into cars. Ever since she was, like, ten years old. So naturally, you know, my cousin always had her attention. And then she turned 16--"
"And then she had Dom's attention." Brian finished her thought, taking a sip of his drink.
"Yep." Y/n looked into Brian's electric blue eyes, making her face turn hot.
"How is it that Jesse fits into the whole thing?"
"Jesse?" Y/n repeated, as the waitress dropped off an appetizer. "Well, Jesse and Leon just sort of showed up one night and never left. Not complaining though, Jesse's became one of my best friends. Leon can piss me off at points but I'm civil with him. It's just the way Dom is though. He's like--He's--He's like gravity. Everything gets pulled to him." Y/n smiled as her eyes met Brian's once more. "Even you."
"Mm-mmm." Brian hummed in disagreement. "No. No." Y/n tilted her head, furrowing her eyebrows. "The only thing that pulled me in was you. Being friends with your cousin is just a bonus."
Y/n smiled widely, looking down at her lap bashfully. "That's--That's good--That's--" Y/n let out a breath as she looked back at him. "That's good. It's nice to come first every once in a while." An idea popped into her head at that moment. "Want to go for a drive?"

This was inspired by the prompt - Kissing in a pillow fort
The sky was a brilliant shade of blue, speckled with fluffy, white clouds as Lexa made her way to Clarke's house. It was a Saturday afternoon, the kind that whispered promises of endless possibilities and adventures. Lexa’s footsteps were light, her heart filled with the familiar thrill of spending the day with her best friend.
As she approached the Griffin residence, the sound of laughter and music spilled out from an open window, guiding Lexa like a beacon. She rang the doorbell, a smile already blooming on her face.
Clarke opened the door, her bright blue eyes shining with excitement. "Lexa! You're here!" she exclaimed, stepping aside to let her in.
The Griffin house always felt like a second home to Lexa. There was a warmth to it, a lived-in feeling that made her feel instantly comfortable. She followed Clarke through the hallway, their conversation a lively stream of updates and shared jokes.
They reached Clarke's room, where a magnificent pillow fort awaited. It was a sprawling construction of blankets, pillows, and fairy lights, creating a cozy haven. Clarke's artistic touch was evident in the hand-drawn banners and colorful cushions that adorned their fortress.
"Welcome to our Saturday headquarters!" Clarke declared, her eyes sparkling with mischief and excitement.
Lexa laughed, her heart light. "It's amazing, Clarke. You've outdone yourself!"
They crawled into the fort, the outside world melting away as they entered their own little universe. Inside, the fort was even more magical. The fairy lights cast a soft glow, creating a world that felt removed from reality, a place where only they existed.
Clarke and Lexa sat cross-legged in the pillow fort, surrounded by a sea of soft blankets and the gentle glow of fairy lights. The air was filled with the sweet scent of popcorn and the quiet hum of their shared laughter. Clarke, with a half-eaten popcorn in hand, suddenly turned to Lexa, her expression a mix of amusement and curiosity.
"Did you hear about Miss Diyoza in class yesterday? She got super mad because some kids were passing notes," Clarke said, her voice tinged with a hint of teenage drama.
Lexa’s eyes widened, her interest piqued. "Really? I missed that! She's usually so chill. What happened?"
Clarke leaned in closer, as if sharing a secret. "It was during the history lecture. And then, out of nowhere, she just stopped talking and stared at Monty and Harper passing this crumpled paper."
"No way!" Lexa exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with the thrill of classroom gossip.
"Yeah! And she said, 'If you have something to share, please feel free to enlighten the whole class.'" Clarke mimicked Miss Diyoza's stern tone, causing both girls to giggle.
Lexa shook her head, smiling. "That's so like her. Did she read the note in front of the class?"
Clarke nodded, giggling. "Yeah, she did. Monty asks Harper to be his girlfriend"
Lexa laughed. "That’s embarrassing."
Clarke reached for another handful of popcorn, her eyes dancing with a mischievous glint.
"Did you hear about Bellamy and Echo?" she asked, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.
Lexa's eyes lit up with interest, a smile playing on her lips. "No, what happened?"
"They're apparently dating now," Clarke revealed, her words laced with the excitement of a juicy secret.
Lexa gasped theatrically. "Really? Since when? They barely even talk in class!"
Clarke shrugged, enjoying the shared gossip. "I heard it from Raven. She said they've been hanging out a lot after school lately. It's so weird, right?"
"Yeah, totally unexpected," Lexa agreed, her tone full of wonder. "School's been full of surprises lately."
The conversation spiraled into a lively exchange of school gossip. They talked about who liked whom, which teachers were rumored to be the strictest, and the latest drama from the school play auditions. Each revelation was met with gasps, giggles, and wide-eyed expressions.
Clarke, with a sly grin, leaned closer. "And guess what else? I heard that Mr. Pike caught Jasper and Maya passing notes in English class. But instead of getting mad, he read the note out loud, and it was a really bad poem Jasper wrote for Maya!"
Lexa burst into laughter, covering her mouth with her hand. "No way!"
After their laughter had subsided from the latest round of school gossip, Clarke glanced at the small laptop they had set up in the corner of their pillow fort. An idea sparked in her eyes, and she turned to Lexa with an excited grin.
"Hey, do you want to watch a movie?" Clarke asked, her eyes shining with anticipation.
Lexa's face lit up at the suggestion. "Yeah, that sounds awesome! What should we watch?"
Clarke bit her lip in thought, scanning through the list of movies they had been wanting to see. "How about a rom-com? Something light and fun?"
"Perfect choice!" Lexa agreed enthusiastically. "Rom-coms are the best for nights like these."
Clarke navigated through the streaming service, her finger hovering over the titles. Finally, her eyes landed on a movie they had both been talking about seeing. It was a new romantic comedy that everyone at school seemed to be talking about.
"What about this one?" Clarke pointed to the screen, displaying the movie's poster, which featured a colorful and whimsical design. "I've heard it's really funny."
Lexa peered at the screen and nodded, her smile widening. "Yes, let's watch that! I've been wanting to see it ever since Anya mentioned it."
Excited, Clarke clicked on the movie, and the opening credits began to roll. They adjusted their positions in the fort, making sure both of them could see the screen comfortably. Clarke grabbed a couple of extra pillows for them to lean on and pulled the bowl of popcorn closer.
As the movie started, the fort was filled with the sounds of laughter and dialogue from the screen. Clarke and Lexa were soon absorbed in the story, commenting on the characters and laughing at the funny scenes. The outside world seemed to fade away as they delved into the world of the movie, enjoying the comfort of each other's company and the shared joy of a good film.
When the movie reached its climax and the two lead characters shared a tender, triumphant kiss, Clarke turned to Lexa, a curious glimmer in her eyes.
"Lexa, have you ever kissed anyone?" Clarke asked, a playful tone in her voice.
Lexa, taken aback by the sudden question, shook her head with a shy smile. "No, I haven't. What about you?"
"Me neither," Clarke replied, a bit of a giggle escaping her. She hesitated for a moment before continuing, "Do you think it's like how they show in movies?"
Lexa pondered for a moment, her gaze turning back to the frozen image of the kissing couple on the laptop screen. "I don't know. It looks… nice, I guess? But probably not exactly like that in real life."
The idea seemed to hang in the air between them, a bubble of curiosity in their cozy world of pillows and blankets.
"Maybe we could… you know, try it? Just a peck, to see what it's like," Clarke suggested, the words tumbling out in a rush, her cheeks flushing with a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Lexa's eyes widened slightly, but then she nodded, a mutual understanding of friendship and trust between them. "Okay, just a peck. Like a practice."
They both leaned in awkwardly, their eyes closing as they shared a quick, innocent kiss, more a brush of lips than anything else. As they pulled away, Clarke burst into giggles, the sound light and carefree.
"That was… weird," Clarke said, still laughing.
Lexa laughed too, though her mind was a whirlwind of new feelings and thoughts. It was a simple, innocent moment, but it sparked a realization within her, an awakening of sorts to new possibilities she hadn't considered before.
The movie resumed playing, but Lexa's thoughts were elsewhere, gently exploring the new emotions that the innocent peck had stirred. It was a moment of self-discovery, subtle yet significant, a first step in understanding herself better.
Clarke, oblivious to Lexa's internal revelations, chatted away, filling the fort with her cheerful voice. The night continued with more laughter, movie scenes, and shared snacks, a testament to the simplicity and beauty of their friendship.
As the movie credits rolled and the fairy lights in the pillow fort seemed to glow a bit softer, Clarke and Lexa lay side by side, a comfortable silence enveloping them. The laughter and conversations of the evening had woven a new layer into the tapestry of their friendship, each moment a thread of shared experiences and understanding.
Clarke turned her head to look at Lexa, her eyes reflecting the dim light. "Tonight was fun, Lexa. We should do this more often."
Lexa smiled, her thoughts still lingering on the revelations of the evening, but her heart full of warmth for the friendship she shared with Clarke. "Yeah, it was perfect. Best Saturday ever."
They began to tidy up the fort, folding blankets and gathering up the remnants of their snacks. As they worked, their chatter was light and easy, punctuated with laughter and plans for their next adventure.
Finally, with the fort returned to its former state of just being Clarke's room, Lexa gathered her things to leave. At the door, she turned to Clarke, a genuine smile on her face. "Thanks for today, Clarke. It really meant a lot."
Clarke hugged Lexa, the bond between them stronger than ever. "Anytime, Lexa. You're always welcome here. See you on Monday?"
"See you on Monday," Lexa agreed, stepping out into the cool night air, her heart light with the joys of youth and the comfort of a friendship that was more like family.
As Lexa walked home under the gentle glow of the starlit sky, her thoughts kept drifting back to the day's playful dare and the quick, innocent kiss she shared with Clarke. She could still feel her heart fluttering a bit, a mixture of surprise and excitement at the new experience.
The kiss was brief, a mere peck, but it left Lexa with a whirl of feelings she hadn't expected. She wondered what it meant, feeling a buzz of curiosity about the new emotions stirring inside her.
Skipping a little as she walked, Lexa felt a warm glow inside her. Today wasn't just any other day—it was a day where something new and exciting happened, a day she would definitely remember.
After Lexa left, Clarke lay in her bed, her room feeling a bit more special after their fun day. She couldn't stop thinking about the movie, the jokes they shared, and especially the quick, silly kiss they had dared to try. It was just a peck, really, but it made her heart beat a bit faster, and she found herself smiling at the memory.
Clarke hugged her pillow, feeling a mix of excitement and wonder. It was just for practice, she reminded herself, but it was also kind of cool and something totally new. She was happy it was with Lexa, her best friend who made everything fun and less scary.
As she closed her eyes, Clarke felt thankful for having Lexa in her life. They could share jokes, watch movies, build pillow forts, and even do goofy things like practice kisses, and it all just felt right. She drifted off to sleep with a smile, thinking about their next hangout and all the other fun firsts they might share together.
As the night wrapped the world in its quiet embrace, both Lexa and Clarke lay in their respective beds, miles apart yet connected by the memories of the day.
For Lexa, the stars outside whispered of new beginnings and self-discovery, each twinkle a reminder of the day's innocent revelation.
For Clarke, the familiar walls of her room held the echoes of laughter and shared secrets, a testament to the strength and beauty of their friendship.
In their own ways, they both cherished the simplicity and joy of their bond, a friendship that was evolving and deepening with each shared adventure.
As they drifted into dreams, their thoughts intertwined with the promise of more days filled with laughter, understanding, and the magic of growing up together.

TIMING: Early April PARTIES: Emilio @mortemoppetere & Kaden @chasseurdeloup & Wynne @ohwynne LOCATION: Worm Row SUMMARY: Kaden helps Emilio and Wynne get a passport. They half-succeed. WARNINGS: None.
Kaden didn’t know the details of why the hell Emilio needed to convince Nora to come home from another country but those didn’t matter too much. Despite the issues Monty may have with the guy, Emilio was another hunter – one who seemed to have similar enough values to his own which was rare to say the least. He was going to help out. It’s what hunters did for one another, that was how you survived. And however annoying he might find Nora, the connection Emilio had with her was clear. If the situations were reversed, if it had been Alex, he knew the slayer would do whatever he could to help him. It was an easy choice to connect him and Wynne to Buzzy to get whatever papers they might need fast, no matter what that meant he might owe the guy this time.
The office in question wasn’t too far from Axis, funny enough. Kaden waited a few doors down from the entrance for the others, he knew Buzzy liked to keep it discreet. “This way,” he said when he saw the pair of them. He’d seen Wynne in and out of the cabin a few times and knew they were a good kid. If they were willing to put themselves out there for Nora, too, he had to believe Nora was worth going out on a limb for after all. Kaden approached the door of Marcelli & Associates Ltd. and rapped on the door in a pattern that was probably morse code for something that he never bothered learning. Two hard knocks back and he knew they were cleared and everyone was on the same page of what kind of business they were here for.
Once they were all shuffled inside, Kaden shut the door and addressed the man at the desk. “Long time no see, Buzzy,” he said with a nod. “Got a favor to ask you.”
“And you brought the whole gang with you to do it,” the man replied. Buzzy looked up from whatever notes he was scrawling and got a good look at all of them for the first time, his face souring in a way that Kaden didn’t get a good feeling about. “You know I don’t hand out favors, Langley. Even to you. And especially not to him.” His eyes narrowed as he stared down Emilio and it was clear that this wasn’t the first time they’d met. Putain de merde, what the fuck had the slayer done to piss this guy off already? Besides being himself. “Anyway, you,” he said to Wynne. “Who are you, kid? You a hunter, too? You must be some kind of special if Langley’s daring to drag you in to see me. What do you need?”
Citizenship had never been a particularly big concern for Emilio. It was the last thing most hunters worried about. When your ‘life plans’ included dying a violent death before you were forty, entering into a long, drawn out process for the grand prize of paperwork wasn’t really high on your to do list. He never thought it would bite him in the ass like this, though. Nora, in another country, in a community he had more than just a bad feeling about, and Emilio trapped an ocean away with no way to get to her… It wasn’t something he wanted to experience. So, when Langley mentioned knowing a guy who could get him papers good enough to land him on an airplane, Emilio hadn’t hesitated. It would cut the time involved in the process for Wynne in half, too.
But… the closer they got to the guy’s ‘office,’ the less confident Emilio felt. The streets were familiar, obviously — this was close to his apartment, after all. But the building Kaden led them to was familiar, too. “What did you say this guy’s name was again?” Emilio asked lowly as Kaden knocked on the door. Before the ranger could answer, said door was swinging open to reveal an unfortunately familiar face. Emilio tensed, jaw tightening. Right.
Of course Kaden’s contact was someone Axis had once screwed over. He could still remember the case — some trembling twenty-something who’d had her identity stolen, begging for a solution in a way Emilio was never going to be able to say no to. He wasn’t sure what the end result had been for Buzzy’s business, but he knew it had taken a hell of a hit. And, given the look the other man was giving Emilio, he hadn’t exactly forgotten about it. Maybe if Emilio stayed quiet enough, he could still get what he needed out of this. He glanced to Wynne, figuring their odds were better here if he let them do the talking.
They wondered if there was such a thing as a chronically nervous person in the field of psychology. If there was, they probably were one. Wynne walked into Marcelli & Associates Ltd. with a tightness in their stomach, even if they were with two strong and capable hunters. At least, they assumed that Kaden was strong and capable. It seemed like a fair assessment, up until now, especially considering his willingness to help with this very illegal thing.
That was one of the sources of their discomfort. Though they didn’t always agree with the law and especially not the government, they didn’t enjoy breaking rules. But no longer were they as passive as they had once been and it was simple, really. They needed to help their friend in need, who would do the same for them. So they tried to stand straight and tried to make polite eye contact with the man called Buzzy. (Was that his real name?) Buzzy did not like Emilio, which was a red flag, even if Emilio was very good at making enemies. Wynne tried not to jump to his defense.
They were asked a question, after all, and they were good at answering questions. “I’m Wynne and I need a passport. It’s not — it won’t have to be a favor,” they clarified, “We will pay for it, of course.” That was something they had grown more used to, over this past year. The power of money. How it could make many things happen, even if they hadn’t quite figured out how to do that. “And oh, no. I’m not a hunter. I’m just –” They weren’t sure. “I’m Wynne.” They remembered themself. “Please.”
Buzzy’s sour expression had a hint of confusion to it as he took stock of the stranger in the room, looking up at Langley for an explanation. “The fuck.” It was half-question, half-statement. A finger pointed at Cortez without addressing him. “And I reckon he’s in need of one too? Don’t have a falsified document growing tree in my backyard.” Heaven knew it wouldn’t grow in Worm Row, anyway.
Kaden raised a brow and looked at Emilio. How the fuck had he screwed this up before he walked in the goddamn door? He waited for some kind of explanation from the slayer, but none came. Putain de merde.
“Cut the crap,” Kaden said to the guy. “I know you can get a passport or two in your sleep. It’s not like I’m asking for a social security number or five.” As much as he hated leveraging his last name in this town, there were some times that it came in handy. It was risky running around in hunter circles, considering half the people he cared about weren’t exactly human, but sometimes the risk was worth taking.
“Oh, do you?” Buzzy said, shaking his head. “You know how this works, Langley, but let me explain to yous two.” The man leaned back in his seat as he addressed Emilio and Wynne in turn. “Money is great. Love it. Big fan. But if you ask me for special favors, I ask special prices, got it?” Kaden was hoping he wasn’t going to say that but he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t expected it. “Frankly, Cortez, I don’t think you can afford my prices. Not after the mess you and your little detective agency got me into. I have to applaud your audacity, though, I’l give you that. Try and shut me down for identity theft then waltz on in here for forged papers.” He burst out a laugh to punctuate his point. “So for now, let’s talk about the kid. You need a passport? And you need it quick, ey?” Kaden shifted nervously. He didn’t know if his “good” name was going to be enough to swing this deal, but it was worth a shot.
“Now, pardon my French.” There was a moment’s hesitation as his eyes darted to Kaden. “No offense, Langley, but what are you, then? If you’re not a hunter, I’m assuming there’s some other kind of reason you’re coming to me and not the good ol’ US government. So what is it? You some kind of supernatural? That it? Or some kinda criminal?” Buzzy held up his hands in a mock surrender. “No judgment here, kid, none at all. Just need to know the truth of things so I can get the fakes right.” He laughed at his own joke. “You know I’m a little less inclined to help on account of you being with him,” he said pointing to Emilio, “but a gig’s a gig. And I have a few favors I could use taken care of so depending on the complexity, I’ll entertain it.”
He was practically biting his tongue at this point, just trying to keep the smart remarks from slipping out. Axis’s policy tended to be more or less the same as the one Buzzy boasted here — a job was a job, and money was money. There’d been nothing personal about the job Emilio had done that had landed Buzzy in hot water but, roles reversed, Emilio doubted he’d have been bending over backwards to help Buzzy, either. And it wasn’t like he could afford a lot here; Buzzy was right about that. When it came to cash, Emilio was always scrambling. And with Teddy out of town and Nora having made off with their credit card to Ireland… Emilio was cut off from his usual cash flow.
It had been a long shot, anyway. There’d been a moment of hope when Kaden said he might have a way to get Emilio and Wynne to Ireland, but hope wasn’t the kind of thing Emilio banked on. He’d been prepared already for it to be just Wynne and Regan’s friend, even if he hated the idea now just as much as he had when it had been introduced. It was far better than Wynne making the journey alone… even if the loss of control over the situation had Emilio’s skin crawling.
“Fine,” he ground out, exhaling shakily. “Just them, then. If we do the favors, will you get them what they need to fly somewhere?” He resisted the urge to add that he was more than happy to beat the necessary documents out of Buzzy’s vault; something told him that wasn’t the most effective strategy here.
Some of the talk went over their head and Wynne wasn’t sure what to say, so they kept quiet when it came to transactions and special favors. They didn’t have a lot of favors they could offer besides making meals and maybe fixing a leaky faucet, but they doubted the other wanted that kind of favor, or the one people at gas stations had asked for when on the road. They tried not to shiver at the thought.
They nodded. “Yes, I need it quick,” they said. “I’m – human. And not a criminal.” Not convicted, anyway. They had condemned a man to death, which was probably not great. “But I …” Wynne swallowed. Maybe they should use the word they hated. “I escaped my commune that’s like a cult, so I don’t have much paperwork. And it will take a long time to do it officially, probably longer considering …” Well, the aforementioned not-a-cult. “Because of the nature of the place I left. They’ll want … answers and questions and everything, right? It will be a whole thing that’s best avoided.” They weren’t sure if that was true, but it seemed about right. “And I just —” They grit their teeth. “Don’t have the time.” Or the energy. Maybe the government would want to see their parents for this. Maybe it would lead to more and more things spiraling out of control now that the demon was no longer capable of protecting the Protherians. They needed to go get Nora, not bring bureaucracy to their former community. “I have a birth certificate, if that helps.”
They were looking at Emilio, wondering what the favors could be, but tried to focus on Buzzy. The idea that Emilio might not get a passport was concerning, but it was better to get one than none. It was also not their place to argue right now. “We will do it.”
Kaden was practically screaming his mind for Emilio to not fuck this up and to just keep his fucking mouth shut. Not that he had any delusions otherwise, but it was clear that neither of them were telepathic since the slayer just had to fucking chime in. Kaden gave his leg a small kick, hoping it wasn’t the one with the busted knee, to tell him to cut it out since the telepathy clearly wasn’t coming anytime soon.
“A cult, you say?” Buzzy asked, raising a brow. “I feel like I should be asking yous which one so I don’t accidentally ruin a business opportunity or two.” He waved his hand like he was swatting the notion away. “Actually don’t tell me, then I’m not lying when I say I don’t know shit. But sure, if you do the favors and if you don’t interfere with my business again, I get them a passport in a few days. Kapeesh?” Buzzy looked directly at Emilio as he answered the question. “Anyway, birth certificate helps plenty. Makes my job easier, one less thing to forge and a few more things to use for inspiration. Now, I’ll let yous g—
Kaden held up his hands to cut the guy off. “Before we agree, what kind of prices are we paying, Buzzy?” He was more than willing to pay them but he wanted to know what kind of shit he was getting into before they jumped off that particular cliff.
“Langley,” Buzzy replied, putting a hand to his heart as if it were wounded, “do you really not trust me after all this?” The look Kaden shot him seemed to be enough of an answer for him. “Fine, fine, I’ll tell you. See I know you’re a ranger and I’ve got a siren that could use a shake down. Figured like something that would be up your alley. Hell, I bet that’s your typical Tuesday night, am I right?” Kaden’s face remained hardened, not as amused by the joke as Buzzy. “You hunters, are you all this sullen all the time? Geeze. I’d hate to go to one of your parties.” He said, shaking his head. “Anyway, got a few odd jobs like that for the two of yous. Shouldn’t be a problem.”
Kaden nodded, it was about what he expected. He didn’t love it but it would be worth it. At least, it better be. Buzzy shoved a contract to them to sign and the ranger had no intention of reading it all line by line but he skimmed it. Looked pretty similar to the one he signed last time for his own papers so he went ahead and signed, handing the pen to Wynne and Emilio in turn.
“Perfect,” Buzzy said with a grin. “There’s one more thing, though.” With that, he reached down to pull out another piece of paper. This one was also full of legalese that Kaden couldn’t and wouldn’t parse through.
“The hell is that?” Kaden asked, brows furrowed. “If this is some kind of—”
This time it was Buzzy who held up his hands to silence Kaden. “Not a trick but you want a rush job, I need a little extra.” His eyes fell back to Emilio. “I’ve got a feeling Cortez in particular could be useful. What with that little detective business you got there. I’ve got some people I could use off my back.” He shoved the paper and pen towards the slayer. “What do you say?”
Kaden kicked his leg (the good one, thankfully), and Emilio shot him a glare that was far more half-hearted than what he might usually deliver. He’d been on edge since the moment Nora made her big announcement that she’d snuck along to Ireland to hang out with a community of banshees, and the fact that Wynne would soon be joining her, that Emilio would be an ocean away with no control over the situation… It only made things worse. Already, he could feel the shadows swirling in his mind, shrouding him in a darkness he didn’t quite know how to get out of. He kept going back to Mexico, to all the things that could happen when you were only a street away. How much worse could it be with an ocean blocking your path?
Buzzy was speaking again, and it wasn’t politeness or self preservation or Kaden’s hard glare that kept Emilio from interrupting. He could barely hear the guy at all, could barely make out the sound of his voice over the sound of blood rushing in his ears. By the time he unpacked and translated Buzzy’s words, it was too late to make any dry comments, anyway. Any other day, he would have hopped in to help Wynne, or made a remark about how hunters didn’t really have parties, or told some bad joke at Kaden’s expense that no one but him would find funny. But not today. Today, Emilio was more of a shell than usual. And wasn’t that saying something?
A paper was put in front of him, and he signed it. There was no time to read it — it would have taken ages, anyway. Then, there was another paper, and Buzzy was looking at him. Emilio forced himself up to the surface enough to look back, to actually listen. This is important. His mother’s voice was a harsh echo in his mind. How can I expect you to learn when you don’t listen? When you can’t sit still, when you won’t pay attention? I expect better from you. He swallowed, setting his jaw in a hard line. Buzzy didn’t know him well enough to notice anything off about the expression. He wasn’t even sure if Wynne or Kaden did. Maybe there was no one left alive who knew Emilio with any kind of clarity.
The request was vague and fuzzy and not something Emilio would have said yes to in any other situation. He didn’t get into things with people like Buzzy without knowing exactly what he was signing up for. Any other day, he’d have told Buzzy to give him more information or fuck all the way off. But this was for Nora. This was to get Nora home safe. There was nothing Emilio wouldn’t do to achieve that goal. If it cost him his soul, that was fine. It wasn’t like he got much use out of it. “Fine,” he agreed, holding out a hand for the paper. “Whatever.”
They winced as Buzzy called their former commune a cult, even if they’d described it as one. “It’s just kind of like one. And it’s not close. It’s far from here.” Wynne said the lie with relative ease, as it felt like Moosehead was lightyears away, even if sometimes it felt like it was in their backyard. They felt around in their bag, took out a slip of printer paper. “Here is the copy of my birth certificate.”
It was dizzying, what was transpiring before them. The man named Buzzy spoke to Kaden and Emilio about prizes, hardly paying them any mind. Wynne would prefer to also pay, but they also figured they weren’t very good at what it was Buzzy was asking for — shaking down a siren sounded like something they’d not be able to do convincingly. Or at all. They glanced nervously between the two hunters and the strange man and hoped they wouldn’t hold it against them.
Emilio and Kaden both signed the contract without much thought and so they did too, following them and their expertise blindly. Wynne hadn’t signed many contracts before and so far most of them had done well for them, as they’d been for jobs and their former apartment. They didn’t fully understand their concept, though. As if signing your name was going to make you properly indebted to someone. For that you should ask demons for help, they figured. Not just a pen.
There was another one, signed by just Emilio. Their stomach felt tight. At least Emilio was part of this more than Kaden was, even if it seemed like he wasn’t going to get a passport. They swallowed and remembered what the slayer had told them. Their eyes were big and their voice a little meek. It didn’t require a whole lot of acting. “Are you sure you can’t get one for him too? He’s …” They glanced at Emilio, whose face was set. “Sorry.” He did not look sorry.
Kaden glanced over, watching Emilio as Buzzy pulled out the second contract. He couldn’t tell if the distant look he had was to keep himself from punching the guy sitting at the desk or if he was actually failing to pay attention. When Cortez realized it was his turn to sign his own paper, the ranger tensed, worried that the man was going to grab the thing and rip it in two. Not that he would blame him — Buzzy was a pain in the ass.
A cackling pain in the ass, too. He threw his head back and chortled at Wynne’s remark. “Is that so, kid?” He had to contain more laughter. “That bastard ain’t sorry about nothing. Are ya?” he goaded. Kaden was ready to step in between the two men, worried that someone (Emilio) was about to lunge across the desk and strangle their forgery guy before he could get the passport needed.
“Come on, Buzzy,” Kaden said, rolling his eyes. “You survived and you have him on the hook. At least consider it.”
The man sighed as he sorted his stack of newly signed contracts. “I’ll consider it.” There was a spark of hope that lit in Kaden’s chest, stupid as that was. “But it’ll take me a while to consider. And I’ll need that favor first. Then I start considering if I’ve changed my mind.” Right, should have remembered it was foolish to hope around these sorts of folks.
“It’s fine. We just need the one for the kid right away. Right?” Kaden looked over to the other hunter, hoping he wouldn’t fucking argue. For once.
“And you’ve got it,” Buzzy said with a smug smile. “Come back in a day or two and I’ll have something for the kid and marching orders for yous twos.” Kaden knew he wasn’t going to enjoy whatever those fucking marching orders were but at least he didn’t have to do this shit alone this time. “See, was that so hard?”
Wynne was trying, that much was clear. And if Emilio were smarter or better, he’d try, too. He’d pretend to be something he wasn’t, he’d put on an apologetic mask. But there was no real point to it, was there? Buzzy made up his mind the moment they walked through the door. They were lucky he was helping Wynne — there was no way in hell he’d help Emilio. This would end the same way everything always did, and Emilio knew it. He wondered if explaining the situation more would help matters, if admitting that him not getting a passport could mean the difference between life and death for Wynne and Nora and Elias and maybe Regan, too, would change Buzzy’s mind. But, deep down, Emilio knew the answer. He always had.
“I’m not sorry for doing my fucking job,” he ground out, doing his best not to take a swing at the guy standing in front of him now. “I’m sorry you don’t want to do yours.” It wasn’t the right thing to say, but was that a surprise? Emilio never said the right thing, never made the moves that needed making. He was a goddamn mess on his best days, and today was one of his worst. There was never any chance of him swallowing his anger well enough to grovel. Everyone in this room knew it.
Maybe Buzzy would get him the passport someday, after he’d held it over Emilio’s head long enough to satisfy. But it would be too late then, and everyone in the room knew it. What was the point in getting a passport when he no longer needed one? Who did it serve? It wasn’t as if Emilio was the sort to take a vacation.
His jaw was tight as Kaden turned to look at him, blood rushing in his ears as the anger warmed his chest. Kaden needed him to agree, but he didn’t trust his voice. He nodded his head instead, curt and tense.
It took everything he had not to take a swing at Buzzy. If they hadn’t been doing this for Nora, to help Nora, he probably would have. Even now, knowing the stakes, he felt like he was physically holding himself back to the point of aching muscles. The moment Buzzy agreed, Emilio turned on his heel, shoving by Kaden and moving a little more gently past Wynne towards the door.
Emilio didn’t look sorry, and even worse, he confirmed that he was not sorry. Wynne felt a rush of frustration that made them feel ashamed of even feeling it. They worked their jaw, averting their gaze from the three men in the room. They were afraid they’d cry if one of them looked at them wrong. Emilio not getting a passport was bad news, after all.
They remained quiet as the conversation fizzled out, save for their, “Appreciate it,” to Buzzy. It was accompanied with a respectful nod, even if they thought him a very bothersome man. Sometimes you had to deal with bothersome people to get what you wanted, that was something they knew by now. It was a frustrating and hard lesson to learn, but it was one that stuck.
And so they all went out, Kaden at the front and Wynne at the rear. They closed the door behind them with a softness that the others would probably not have afforded Buzzy. Their eyes moved between Kaden and Emilio now, big and still teetering on the edge of crying. “You could have —,” they began at Emilio, but they shook their head and left their sentence unfinished. Then, at Kaden: “Thank you. And … if I can ever do something for you to make it up to you …” They didn’t have a lot of skills. Maybe they’d just bake him some bread, they could do that. Kaden was good at cooking himself, they recalled, so maybe he’d appreciate that.
The trio moved down the street, back to where they’d met before the fiasco of a meeting. A strange feeling took hold of Wynne as they considered the strangeness of life and these two hunters, willing to do an ugly job on their behalf. Despite the strangeness, they decided they didn’t mind the feeling.

Memories
TW’s: Mentions of death, William Afton, cursing
Pairings: Michael Afton x reader, Glamrock Freddy x reader?, past Michael Afton x Jeremy Fitzgerald, slight Glamrock Freddy x Glamrock Bonnie
Reader type: Can be any but reader uses gender neutral pronouns
Word Count: 1.3k+
A/N: the urge to write lookalike like look-a-like, i hate putting Michael and William’s names in the same color, Glammike Au, yes William is his own trigger warning even if he’s only mentioned as “father” like once, i screwed with the timeline to fit the story, Michael’s a dumbass but we love him, humanoid animatronics because i can’t describe animatronics for the life of me, Glamrock Bonnie is silly goofy, might make a short series of this if it does good, Glamrock Bonnie’s personality and design is not accurate as he is not in-game, Glamrock Bonnie makes Bugs Bunny references because he’s like that, i wrote this during a hyperactive swing so it’s gonna be quirky
Michael remembers. Something that he’s never been fond of. He remembers his siblings, his parents, friends, old jobs, animatronics, souls, his old lovers. The memories fade in and out, something he blames on the programming in the stupid human form of an animatronic.
Don’t get him wrong, he didn’t hate it. But it was tiring to say the least. Having to put on shows with kids climbing and clinging onto you, it always brought him back to when Elizabeth would clutch onto him. Begging him to convince his father to let her near Circus Baby.
But at least the rest of the animatronics made it manageable. Glamrock Chica always made bubbly jokes, Roxanne gave decent good advice, Monty was…well Monty. And then there was Glamrock Bonnie.
He reminded Michael of Jeremy to an extent, he even gave him the nickname “Bon”. Bon cracked jokes and had the sense of humor that Michael could stand. He gave him cheeky smiles and seemed to beam whenever he showed up near the bowling area. If Michael didn’t know any better he’d assume Bon liked him.
But whenever Michael contemplated asking him of his feelings, his mind traced back to you and Jeremy. Although it was mostly you. Michael had dated Jeremy on and off until he died after being bit by Mangle. He then somehow found comfort in you.
You two had met up somehow when he moved in your neighborhood after he moved away from his birth state. You had lived in the neighborhood for a while, and he learned early on that you were quite a busy bee.
He remembers how you brought him over some cookies as a housewarming gift, apologizing in advance if he didn’t like the flavor. He simply brushed it off and took them anyways.
Your visits got more frequent to the point were you two become close friends. You would stay over at his house to watch “The Immortal and The Restless” with him, not quite understanding why he seemed to be so obsessed with the show.
But despite your jests and teases you always stayed and watched every episode with him. He seemed to enjoy your company, always managing to fall asleep with his head on your shoulder.
He was cute when he sleep, although you never told him that until later on when you two were together. You had a habit with playing with his hair, running your hand through his chocolate locks.
Throughout the numerous compliments and flirts about his appearance, you never said anything about his eyes for some reason. He found that weird but didn’t push it. Maybe it was another quirk of yours.
The rest of the memories of you were blurry. He could never make out a full memory of you two while he was working at Circus Baby’s, nor when you two got together. He does remember how tightly you hugged after he showed up a few days after retching up Ennard. Not caring about the smell or the fact he was a corpse now.
He was evem more surprised when you still stayed with him when he blandly told you about his new condition. He remembers how things seemed to get rougher in your relationship, between his quest to free all of the souls and the frequent night shifts.
He let out a chuckle as he thought back on the face you made when he told you he burned down a building with his dad in it. You didn’t seem to know whether to laugh or scold him.
Burn down a building….
He frowned as the thought crossed his mind. The last fire he started was the one that quite literally turned his life upside down. His soul must have been stuck in some sort of coma because he doesn’t know how long it had been.
One minute he was burning, ready to go see ve with his siblings and mother, leaving his father behind and the next he was being tested for malfunctions. He wondered if you were even still alive. He would go look but it’s not like he could leave.
And god forbid he try to ask around for information about you. If you were dead he’d be seen as a lunatic and if you weren’t nobody would probably know who you were. For all he knew you might not be even living here anymore.
Michael jumped as he felt a finger tap his shoulder, he turned to glance at who poked him. Bon was stood there with furrowed brow, a lip tugged between his teeth as he chewed on it nervously. A pet peeve Michael picked up on his first week as Glamrock Freddy.
“Are you okay? You seemed…off”, Bon spoke, tilting his head a little, “Did you not get your software update done last night?”
Bon’s joke seemed to do little to help with Michael’s mood, causing him to frown. His jokes always helped him, even if it was a little bit, so why not now?
“Fred? You good?”
Good, Michael hadn’t been “good” since he was with you. Bon sighed before shifting closer to Michael, peering at him with curious and worried eyes. “Fred? Anyone in there?”
Michael shifted his eyes back from the floor to Bon’s, a blush of embarrassment covering his face as he realized his lack of response. He shifted back a little, causing the humanoid bunny’s ears to droop a little. Though he quickly covered it up.
”Say Bon…do you know a {name} {last name}?”
“Uh”, Bon chewed on his lip again as he seemed to rack his brain for answers, “Not really? Actually I’m gonna give it to ya straight doc I don’t.”
“Right”, Michael sighed as he leaned against the wall. He looked around the Pizzaplex, his eyes seemed to dim. Bon said nothing as he leaned against the wall beside him, hesitantly grabbing Michael’s hand as an act of comfort.
“Are they uh, are they your friend or?…”
Michael opened his mouth to speak but he couldn’t seem to get the words out. What was he to say anyways? Hey my name’s actually Michael Afton and I’m possessing this humanoid animatronic. My dad’s a serial killer and my family’s dead.
“Bon do you trust me?”
“With my life”, the response was almost immediate and his grip on Michael’s hand seemed to tighten.
“I need to tell you something”, Michael glanced at Bon before releasing his hand, motioning for him to follow, “C’mon, we’ll go to my “room”.”
If someone were to search up a picture to match the word flabbergasted, Glamrock Bonnie’s current face would show up. He was gaping like a fish out of water at him, shifting on the orange couch.
Bon let out a dry laugh, “You uh, you sure are funny doc I’ll give you that. Seems like you really did miss that software update.”
Bon only chuckled nervously at Michael’s blank expression. A low and long sigh leaving him at the sight of it. “Okay Michael…so what do you want me to do with this information?”
“I want you to help me find out about {name}, just anything at all. You could ask Vanessa, you two are close.”
Bon raised an eyebrow as he got off of the couch, stretching, “She hates me. And she’s always looking at me like she wants to kill me or something. It’s weird.”
“I’ll help you the best I can Fred, but it’s only a matter of time before like, you’ll have to spill the beans”, Bon walked over and gave Michael’s shoulder a playful punch, “I’ll report back in a few sergant.”
Bon mock-saluted before leaving the room, leaving Michael alone once again. A sigh left him as he watched Bon almost hop away from the window. He could only hope that he would return with good news.

“Mom, do I have to sit here? Can I go to the arcade?” I groan as I prop both my elbows up on the table my mother and I were sitting at. It was Halloween and the last place I wanted to be was in the daycare at the mega pizzaplex. my younger sister was down in the daycare playing while my mother and I sat up in the party rooms. It was one of my sister’s friend’s birthday parties and I was just dragged here. No 12-year-old would even dare to be seen in the pizzaplex, let alone the daycare. All the older kids stayed glued to the arcade machines.
“Sure, sure go,” she mutters with an eye roll. I grinned before I hopped up out of my seat and sprinted out of the room and out of the daycare area. right as I’m turning out of the daycare, I’m met with a huge chunk of metal colliding right into my body.
“Oof!” I yelp as I fall to the ground. I blink a few times, total confusion overtaking my brain before I look up to see what the green-colored metal was that I had run into. That’s when I see the large green gator animatronic towering over me. “God kid, slow down,” Monty hisses as he scowls down at him. “I’m-I’m sorry Monty,” I whisper as I push myself up off of the ground and dust myself off. “where’s your mother?” he asks as he scans the crowd of people around me, maybe looking for a concerned man or woman looking for me. “she’s in the party room. She said I could go to the arcade,” I say as I shove my hands into my jacket pockets. “Hm shouldn’t be roamin’ around by yourself...what’s your name?”
“y/n”
“Alright go on and slow down don’t need anyone getting, hurt,” he grumbles before walking past me.
-
After spending about 30 minutes playing the games in the arcade, I decided it was probably best to start making my way back to the daycare. I let out a little sigh as I turned the corner towards the party room. I count down the numbers on each party room until I'm standing in front of the now-empty room 4. Did they leave me? There were still remnants of cake and wrapping paper in the room. Perhaps they went down to pick the kids up from the daycare, so I flew over to look down in. I scan every adult and child that is visible, but none of them are my mom or sister. I spun around, checking if they were somewhere around in the lobby of the daycare. Still, none of them were my mom. Fear overcame my body as my hands began to shake.
My breathing gets heavy as anxiety blooms in my chest and tears spring from my eyes. Maybe she went to get me from the arcade? That has to be it, so I begin to dash back towards the arcade. But somehow my luck I awful because I slam right into a hard green hunk of metal again. "didn't I tell you to stop-" I back up and look up at Monty as his head cocks to the side a bit. "what's wrong? Did you hurt yourself?" he asks. Maybe he noticed how glossy my eyes were, or that fact that my chest was rising and falling so fast that it was concerning. I shake my head. "I can't- can't find my mom," I murmur as my voice cracks. "Oh, let's find her. Then where did you see her last?" he asks.
"In the party room but I already looked there," he nods as he searches around, looking for a childless parent. "I already looked around here. She's not here," I cry out, tears beginning to run down my cheeks. He huffs as his robotic face contorts into a confused expression. "Okay, let's get you to lost and found. " I nod as I wipe my wet cheeks "Okay" as I take his cold metal hand into mine.
we walked down towards the lost and found, Monty pointed out adults that had no children with them asking "Is that one your mom?" each time but every one of them wasn't.
He pushes open a wooden door with a little window that looks into the room. There's a woman in a night guard uniform sitting in front of a computer. She had brown hair curly hair and a darker complexion. As we walked in, she glanced up, her brows furrowing together. "Lost?" Monty nods, "alright leave her here I'll take care of it." she states as she turns back towards her computer. Monty attempts to let go of my hand, but I tighten my grip. I didn't know who this woman was, and I didn't want to be left alone with her. "Can you stay? " I whisper as I look up at the animatronic that is at least 5 times my size. He looks over at the woman seated in a swivel chair as if he's asking, "Can I?" she nods as she waves it off. "Alright sweetheart, what's your name?" she questions as she turns in the chair so she's facing Monty and me.
"y/n…y/n l/n." she nods as she shifts back towards the computer. "Alright, y/n my name is Zara." She begins to type each key, making a click-clack sound against her fingertips. "Now, what's your mom's name?"
"Laura," I whisper as I tetter back and forth on my feet anxiously. "Same last name?" she asks. I nod "All right I'm going to call over the overhead for her to come here and get you," she explains "You can go and sit over there" She points to a small couch-like thing placed against the back wall. I pull Monty over towards it and we both sit down. My leg bounces up and down anxiously as Zara calls my mother's name over the loudspeaker.
We sit there for what feels like hours, and my mother never comes. Maybe she had left me. Zara could tell I was scared because she cut through the silence and asked, "What are you going to be for Halloween?" "Chica" I whisper with a smile, "oh is Chica your favorite?" her brows furrowing in a knot "Mhm" I hum with a nod. "Well Chicas, my favorite too," she says, which makes Monty let out a little jealous huff. "Nothing against you Monty" she laughs.
She looks down at her watch before sighing "Alright if your mom doesn't come by 6, we're going to have to call the cops" she says, trying to make her voice as soft sounding as possible, but it still terrifies me. I don't want anything bad to happen to my mom or my family, but what if I got in trouble for running off? Would the police do something to me? My bottom lip wobbles as tears pool in my eyes. "You're going to be alright you won't get in any trouble."
"Can I take her down to my green room? can call for her if they come for her?"
-
I sat on the green couch that was in Monty's green room as he sat at his vanity. My legs dangle off the couch as I take in every part of his room. It was messy but still cool-looking. He had a little arcade machine placed in the corner and bunches of merchandise littered around on tables and the ground. While a few were of him and the band, the majority were solely of him. "I wanted to go trick or treating," I complain, sinking into the couch cushions. Monty hums as he nods. My eyes widen as I sit up. "would you take me?!" He turns to look at me, metal brows furrowing together. "Kid, I can't leave this place."
"I could sneak you out pleaseeee Monty, we'd have so much fun!" I say as I stick my bottom lip out and put on my best puppy dog eyes. He sighs as his eyes move from left to right. "Fine, c'mon, but we've gotta be quiet." I grin as I hop up. "Let go, let's go," I say as I stick my hand out for him to grab.
We sneak through the empty corridors of the pizzaplex, dodging security bots and the cleaning bots as we walk towards a smaller, less obvious exit of the pizzeria meant for employees. Monty grabs a pair of car keys that belong to the pizza delivery cars. "Can you drive?" I ask as I look up at the animatronic. "Sure, I could figure it out."
-
"Woah, slow down!" I cry out, gripping the car door as the car weaves in and out of lanes. We finally come to a stop. We're in a small neighborhood just a few miles from the pizzaplex. There are already kids dressed up in elaborate costumes with their parents walking around. "let's go," I giggle as I hop out of the car and run over to the sidewalk.
Walking down the sidewalk, I hold Monty's cold metal hand while keeping our eyes out for houses with their porch lights on. I've got a small plastic grocery bag in my hand that we found in the back of the car in my hands. It's filled with a few pieces of candy at the moment. A small red brick house with an older lady sitting in a rocking chair on the porch catches my eye. I pull Monty into her yard before walking down the small path that led to her front door.
"Trick or treat," I giggle, grinning as I hold the bag out for the lady to drop candy in. "wow, that is an elaborate costume," she says as she looks up at Monty. He sticks out like a sore thumb; he's about 6 feet tall, and his feet make a metal clanking sound with every step he takes. "y-yeah," he says with a cough. "Where is your mother, sweetheart? " My eyes widen as I go through every story. I could tell this woman. I don't have a mom; she's at home, at work, taking my little sister trick or treating. "Sh-i-she's at home," I say, hoping and praying she believed me. She nods. "Alright, be careful now," she sighs as she drops a few pieces in my bag. Thank God she believed me.
-
About 30 minutes later, our trick-or-treating is interrupted by the loud sound of police sirens. I hoped they were for someone else and not me. I did hope that the old lady didn't call the police. But when I saw the gigantic fazbear entertainment truck following after them, I knew it was for us. The cars come to a screeching stop in front of us, and out of one police car comes my mother. "Momma!" I cry out as I release Monty's hand and run to her.
I collapse into her arms. Her arms tighten around me as she lets out a sob. "I'm so sorry," she whispers atop my head. As our hug loosens, I see a few fazbear workers trying to get Monty in the back of their truck. "Wait!" I cry out as I wriggle out of my mother's grip. I run back over and hug him, wrapping my arms around his torso. My head only reaches his stomach, so I must look up to talk to him.
"Thank you," I whisper. "I promise I'll come and see you again, Monty."

July 17th, 1978
Apartment hunting was an impossible task, add in an overly-zealous muggle enthusiast (self proclaimed), and a hungry werewolf two days away from the full moon, and she was about ready to toss herself in front of the next bus. Peter had declined their offer to join in their post-school living situation; he’d apparently already found a flat near the ministry after securing a job in the Department of Magical Transportation. Though for practical reasons she understood the decision, she still couldn’t help feeling like he was purposefully distancing himself. The thought didn’t sit right with her.
After their third apartment tour of the day, Remus was beside himself. “If I buy you a sausage roll, will you stop moping?” She growled, the tall boy slumping along behind her. A low grunt that sounded a lot like a stubborn “yes” rumbled from him. Sirius bounded ahead, ecstatic to be out-and-about in the city, but even more so to be looking at apartments in the muggle world. He’d been enamored with each place they’d seen so far, though she’d been less than thrilled with all of them. Two locations had been so expensive that her and Remus almost keeled over when they heard the price. Sirius, having no real concept of money, thought the price sounded phenomenal for a 2 bedroom apartment (2 being generous, as the 2nd “bedroom” was no bigger than a broom closet) with no heat and a horribly strange shower/bathroom hybrid. As they wandered up towards the last flat of the day, she prayed that it would be good enough, otherwise she’d end up killing one of her friends if they had to do any more of these visits together.
The final flat was above a pharmacy in Hackney, the redbrick walkup being well within their price range, and it had enough room for the three of them to live comfortably without being on top of each other. The owners of the drugstore downstairs, an elderly couple in their early 70s, doubled as the landlords, giving her an overwhelming sense of home the moment they met. By the time they were done looking around, Sirius was jumping out of his skin.
“It’s perfect!”
“It’s noisy,” Remus deadpanned, glowering at a group of shouting kids across the street playing football. She knew he was just being irritable because of the upcoming moon, so she tried to muster all of her dwindling patience left, and refrain from smacking her best friend in the back of the head.
“It’s the best we’ve seen, and I don’t think we’ll find much better on our budget,” she looked at Remus, eyebrows raised in challenge. He held her stare, the two of them in a silent standoff in the alleyway between buildings as Sirius began to wander towards the main street. Upon watching him disappear around the corner, Remus broke first.
“Fine, let’s do it then,” he said, striding off to wrangle their friend away from a local record store at the end of the block. She hadn’t missed the small spark in his eyes before he turned away, the one that gave away his moody demeanor as just a temporary shell. Smiling triumphantly, she dipped into the pharmacy to secure their new home.

August 1st, 1978
The Longbottom’s living room was small, but immaculately decorated. In all honesty, it wasn’t even that tiny, it just seemed like it due to the eleven people crammed inside. Remus and Sirius flanked her; James, Lily, and Peter filling out the line on either side as they stood before a stoic looking Dumbledore. Off to the side of the room, Effie and Monty beamed proudly, the former’s eyes holding a sense of apprehension that was never vocalized. She had clocked it the moment she saw James’ parents, recognizing it as the same anxiety she wrestled with daily.
The oath was read, the six of them repeating it back strongly, (Peter faltered once, leading to her having to pinch Sirius’ hand so he didn’t laugh out loud at their friend). As they recited the final line, Sirius laced their fingers, a silent promise to stick together no matter what. She reached out with her other hand and did the same to Remus.
“Welcome to the Order of the Phoenix,” Dumbledore’s eyes sparkled, a small smile showing through his beard. Lily let out an audibly exhale, James hugging her closely and grinning ear to ear.
“When’s our first assignment?” Sirius stepped forward, back straight as he let go of her hand.
Dumbledore’s expression didn’t change, “You’ll be notified.”
“So we’re just supposed to what…sit around and wait to possibly be called up?” Sirius’ voice began to heat.
She stepped to his side, untangling her fingers from Remus’, “Sirius, it’s alright. No one’s in any big hurry—“
“I am. I want to get out there, I want to fight,” his blue eyes were smoldering as they shot to her, the look freezing her to the spot.
“Can we talk about this at home, please,” she whispered, gripping his arm tightly.
Dumbledore inclined his head at them in dismissal, “I appreciate your eagerness Mr. Black—“
“Potter.” Sirius said sternly. She furrowed her brows as he stared ahead, Dumbledore never faltering in his expression. “I want to go by Potter now, not Black.”
She looked over a shoulder at Effie and Monty, both of whom did not seem to hear the conversation occurring on the other side of the room, too busy wrapped in a discussion with Lily about something. Their son on the other hand, had heard all of it, coming over to clap a supportive hand on Sirius’ shoulder. Though the Potter’s had never legally adopted him, they treated Sirius just like a second son, and he was a Potter in everything but name.
“—alright, Mr. Potter,” Dumbledore’s eyes sparkled as he said it, “we will send a message when you are needed.” Sirius huffed, turning to stalk out to the front garden. Remus gave her a wary look as she followed him outside.
Smoke curled around Sirius’ head when she found him on the walkway, taking the first drags of a cigarette. Wrapping both arms around his waist, she pressed her body against his back, laying her head between his shoulder blades.
“Let’s go home,” she mumbled, feeling a hand wrap around her own. He didn’t speak, just lifted their conjoined hands to place a kiss against her palm. They stood in the garden in comfortable silence, the only sounds being the crickets and Sirius’ occasional exhales.
“Why are you so desperate to get out there?” She whispered. He flicked the cigarette out into the street, the embers flying over the pavement in little orange fireworks.
“I just…I need to do something. I can’t just sit here and wait while they’re out there killing people.”
His skin was warm through the soft cotton t-shirt as she pressed her cheek closer into his back. She knew why he was fighting so hard to get chosen for a mission, the truth had been there for as long as she’d known him. It was the same reason he had always acted out in school, the same reason he hung out with primarily muggleborns and outcasts, the same reason he wanted to go by Potter now: the one thing he craved most was to distance himself from his family. He needed to show to the world that he was not the heir to the Black Family legacy, and he was willing to do whatever was necessary to achieve it.
“You don’t need to prove anything, y’know.”
Sirius exhaled a long sigh, turning to finally face her. “You don’t understand what it’s like…”
Swallowing the urge to yell that she was tired of people assuming she didn’t understand anything, she squeezed his biceps in a silent urge to continue opening up.
“…to have your family name proceed you, and not for the right reasons. They’re monsters,” he gave her a lopsided smile, “and not the kind you’re into.” Her mouth dropped open in amusement, letting out a breathy laugh at his audacity.
“Speaking of…” Sirius grinned over her shoulder, and she turned to see Remus joining them on the walkway.
“Speaking of what?” He eyed them apprehensively, lighting a cigarette in the process. Sirius shrugged.
“Just talking about the creatures she seems to be hopelessly enamored with—ow!” She pinched him in the ribs.
Remus smirked through a drag, holding out a hand to her, “Ready to go home?”
She looked down the quiet street, the golden glow of the streetlights peppering the pavement, tiny fireflies humming above the bushes of neighboring houses.
“Can we walk a little bit instead of apparating? It’s such a nice night…”
“Of course love,” Remus threw an arm over her shoulders, steering her in the direction of home. As soon as they left the Longbottom’s property, Sirius transformed into Padfoot, a move she knew wasn’t just for amusement. He was through dealing with his feelings for bit, a notion she didn’t blame him for. He trotted beside her, nuzzling his furry head into the back of her hand until she reached out and scratched him behind the ears. She continued to idly run fingers through his fur, a gesture to let him know that she was there, that it didn’t matter if he was a Black, or a Potter, or just Sirius; he was hers.
———
September 29th, 1978
She was screaming. Lily was too as they clung to each other. Through the screeching came tears from both girls, leaving the four boys standing feet from them highly confused and uncomfortable.
“Should we…do something?” Sirius muttered to Remus nervously.
“Nah, they’re just really excited. My sister acts like this any time Paul McCartney does something as simple as breathing,” Peter whispered. Beside them, James beamed, happy to know he hadn’t just broken one of his best friends, and his new fiancee. Lily flashed her the ring again, tears still rimming her green eyes.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe it,” she grabbed her friends hand and examined the diamond, “Jamie who knew you had such good taste!”
James gave her a rude gesture from across the room, making her smile wider.
“Have you told Mary or Marls yet?”
Lily shook her head, “No, I wanted to tell you first because I also have something to ask you…”
A weird sensation coursed through her heart, simultaneously breaking and swelling at the same time, knowing what was coming next.
“Will you be my maid of honor? You’re my closest friend, and also one of James’ and it would mean so much to—“
She cut her off with a bone crushing hug. Lily had lost a sister years ago, to no fault of her own,  having ceased all contact with Petunia during their time at Hogwarts. Being an only child, she’d always longed for a sister, finally finding that bond with Lily.
“Of course I will!” She finally let go, the red head giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.
“Let’s go call Mary, she’s going to freak!” Lily squeaked, pulling her toward the kitchen to use the muggle phone she had installed for emergencies.
“Oi!” James whined, throwing up his hands, “What about me? I’m getting married too, y’know.”
She pointed an accusatory finger, “I’m still mad at you for keeping this from me, Potter!”
“In his defense, none of us knew,” Sirius shrugged.
“I knew,” Pete said matter-of-factly. Both her and Sirius’ jaws dropped, the sight of which was almost comical, the two of them launching into distraught shouts.
“You told Peter?!”
“Wormtail knew and I didn’t?!”
James threw up his hands again in defense, “We all know he’s better at keeping secrets than you lot!”
Sirius shook his head in faux-offense, “That’s low, mate. I’m not sure if we can be friends after that.”
James slung an arm over his shoulders, “Can you at least suck it up as my brother then and be my best man?” Sirius beamed, the two boys immediately launching into a wresting match that eventually led to Remus getting involved while Peter sighed on the sidelines.
She looked over at Lily, who was also staring at the boys like they were utterly insane.
“Animals…” she exhaled, joining her friend in the kitchen to begin spreading the good news.
———
December 1st, 1978
Sirius got his wish the first week of December, being sent on an introductory mission to trail after a suspected Death Eater in the hopes of discovering new members and possibly new sympathizer safe houses. Remus was slated to partner him, the two of them setting out midday Friday to Diagon Alley. They’d all known for over a week about the mission, but no amount of time could’ve prepared her for the acidic nausea that hit the moment Sirius opened the front door to leave. She hadn’t slept in days, running every possibility over and over again in her mind while staring at the ceiling of their bedroom. What if one of them was captured? What if they didn’t make it back? Too many things could go wrong, and Sirius didn’t seem to think anything of it.
“I’ll be back later tonight, relax love,” he pressed a kiss to the crease between her eyebrows, clocking her anxiety immediately. She could feel the electric excitement radiating from him; he was savoring this way too much for her liking. Remus, as usual, was stoic and unreadable, something she usually was able to see right through; this time she couldn’t.
Sirius stepped out the front door and onto the stair landing, “Be good, love you.” He gave her a wry smile and winked. Cheeky fucker.
Remus kissed her head quickly as he walked past to leave. “I’ll make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid,” he murmured before joining his friend outside. The promise oddly made her feel slightly better, but only because it was coming from Remus.
After they both apparated, she tried to busy herself to keep the worrisome thoughts at bay. Cleaning the kitchen was borderline torture, the little clock above the stove kept mocking her plight. Reading took her mind off the silence of the house for a bit, until the telephone rang and sent her practically flying out of the chair.
“Hiya,” she breathed into the receiver, praying that her nerves didn’t sound through. There was only a handful of people who could be calling their muggle phone, but she was thoroughly thankful that it was one specific voice on the other end.
“Alright?” Lily chimed.
She exhaled loudly, no longer worried about keeping her cool. “I’m going out of my mind.”
Lily laughed, “I figured as much. You should’ve seen me during James’ first mission, I think I managed to pick up twelve new hobbies that day just to keep busy.”
Dragging a shaky hand over her face, she groaned. A little over a beat later, Lily’s calm voice filtered down the line.
“They’ll be okay, y’know. Remus is smart and levelheaded, and Sirius is…well he’s not completely inept.”
She choked out a laugh, “Thank you, Lils.”
“Anytime, love. Now, how d’you feel about discussing linen colors?”
———
After talking about different shades of green and cream for over an hour, she said goodbye to Lily. The sun had set and she decided to forgo dinner, not having much of the stomach for it right now anyway, settling to go to bed early instead. Taking the slowest and most detailed shower, she finally sunk into bed, staring at the ceiling and willing the nefarious thoughts to quiet down. Sleep didn’t come, instead replaced by fitful tossing and turning until she finally gave up the fight and got out of bed. Wrapping the large quilt around her body, she padded across the hall to Remus’ room, dragging the makeshift cape behind her. Their bedrooms were night and day: where Remus’ was immaculate and tidy, hers and Sirius’ shared one was chaotic and littered with half-finished cups of tea and piles of clothes. She grinned at the neatly lined books and trinkets on his dresser, the only thing slightly askew being a polaroid Remus had taken of the three of them shortly after moving into the flat. She stared at the little square, the sweaty faces of three best friends that had just lugged furniture up a flight of stairs in the dead of summer; the ear-to-ear smiles on all of their faces; the joy in the eyes of her two favorite men, knowing they had finally found a home they belonged in.
She crawled onto Remus’ bed, burrowing herself beneath the blanket taken from her own. Nestled amongst the scents of her two favorite people, she drifted off to sleep.
———
The following morning, she awoke to a warm wall at her back and a soft, rhythmic breath blowing against her forehead. Cracking open an eye, Sirius’ peacefully sleeping face came into view, their hands intertwined on the pillow between. She could only assume it was Remus behind her, his heavy arm draped over her middle.
They were here. They were safe.
Snuggling back into the cocoon of warmth, she closed her eyes, desperate to spend a few more hours in peaceful comfort, even if just for a little while.

~Peaceful Skies~
Thomas Hewitt x GN!Reader
Warnings: none
Hey! this is my first story and my first time trying to actually write something decent lol
I’m also going to post this on AO3 when i have the time my username is: XAN_KADYN
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It was a surprisingly calm, late afternoon, the skies a light grey with the hot sun peeking out ever so slightly at the Hewitt mansion, Thomas was at the slaughterhouse like normal, Monty was watching tv as usual and Hoyt well was sitting peacefully at the dinner table reading a week's old newspaper. The mansion was quiet
I walked to the kitchen to see Luda Mae making dinner “hey I'm going to go and fetch Tommy for dinner” “Have fun sweetie, see you in a bit~” and with that, I walked out of the old mansion and made my way to my least favourite place, the Slaughterhouse. I don't mind what Tommy does but I’d rather not meet or hear my next meal. I still love Tommy nonetheless
Thomas glanced up hearing the creaking floorboards as his eyes met with his partner’s eyes.
He felt like he was falling in love all over again. He could feel warmth spreading over his neck onto his face. He was like a 13yr old boy when he was around you, you made him feel safe and he knew that he could trust you with his life.
“Come on my giant teddy bear, time for dinner,” you said in a little sing-song voice. Thomas shook his head from side to side in a shy but happy manner and walked over to you in his bloodied clothes. “I suppose we should get you cleaned up a bit before dinner, what do you say Tommy?” Thomas just lightly nodded his head in agreement and the both of you started walking out of the slaughterhouse, hand in hand and started your short journey to the mansion.
Unfortunately, a sudden downfall of rain came down, Y/N and Tommy looked at each other before starting to run to the mansion. Coming close to the house, Luda Mae could be seen dragging the now-drenched laundry back into the house.
At last Y/N and Tommy stumbled into the house. Thomas gently embraces Y/N's shivering figure providing some sort of warmth. “You kids go on get a change of clothes I don't want either of ya messing up my clean floors with mud”.
Tommy just grunted and placed his hand on the small of your back gently guiding you and himself to your shared bedroom.
You closed your bedroom door and sighed a breath of relief, as the warmth of the room surrounded your body. You looked over to your husband, took his hand and led him to your bathroom.
*time skip - after shower*
Thomas sat on the bed occasionally glancing over to you changing. He couldn’t believe that he was married to you. He didn't think he was ever deserving of love, why was a monster like him so deserving of an angel like you? Even though you said that he did deserve you he couldn't fully believe it.
He watched you as you slipped on one of his shirts,  he loved seeing you in his shirts it made you his and also the fact that the shirt on your body engulfed you whole.
You walked over to your now-blushing husband and you placed your hands around his neck. You had a grin on your face as big as the Cheshire cat “ya like what you see my dearest, Thomas?” you said in a very put-on voice slightly teasing him
Thomas just grunted, and you could see a very small smile creeping up onto his face.
In seconds Tommy had you over his shoulder and made his way downstairs and placed you down on the chair at the dinner table “finally you’ve come to join us” Hoyt whispered loud enough for you and Thomas to hear.
“C'mon now Hoyt no need to be rude” Luda Mae said as she placed the pot with stew in the middle of the dining table. One by one everyone began dishing themselves portions and started eating, light conversations were made during dinner.
After everyone had finished their meal Thomas collected the dirty dishes and placed them into the sink. He made eye contact with you and nudged his head to the side as if to say ‘let's go upstairs’ you simply nodded, and then thanked Luda Mae for the delicious dinner and joined Thomas in your bedroom.
When you entered your shared bedroom Thomas was already in bed laying on his back waiting for you to join him at his side. You swiftly slipped your trousers off so you were just in his shirt and underwear (cause even though yes you've lived in Texas for a long time the heat was still slightly unbearable)
You lifted the sheets just enough to slip in next to Thomas and lay on your side to face him, he turned to face you as well and cuddled up to you, leaving your head on his chest, you could feel him wrapping his arms around your waist, pulling you closer.
You lifted your head ever so slightly and kissed him on the cheek “Night Tommy, I love you” you whispered, laying your head back on his chest and closed your eyes. Thomas kissed the top of your head and you both fell into a light slumber.

would you tell me more about skeevy drug dealer Diego? 👀 does he still think he's hot shit? and how does he know Bonnie? did they meet before or after Bonnie met Monty? it'd just be funny if he met the both of them without realizing they're related or finding out later on lol
God complex given human/big crocodile form. He is an absolute unit. Standing at 7 feet tall while Human, and 15 feet tall while gator. Absolutely shredded. Knows he's hot shit. Knows he can wreck your shit.
Also has a wide variety of goodies for the depraved. Doesn't really sell directly anymore, but will to a select group of people. Everyone else has to go to one of his lackeys.
Kinda guy you see and immediately make room for because he will not move for you.
He met Bonnie on accident. He was barely 16 at a concert. Dawn took him to go because she liked the band, and wanted to bond with her newly adopted son and show she cared for him.
They got to meet the band up close and something just kinda clicked. Bonnie and Diego talked a lot after and hung out a lot in the weeks following. Just getting high and vibing, going on trips an such. Dawn didn't care too much as Diego got a friend, and didn't get the vibe Bonnie was being a creep. He genuinely wasn't, just kinda clicked with the kid. Straightened him out a little.
Until Diego got into selling shitty weed and worked his way up. Then he became a plug for the band and their staff. Yes Freddy has done some drugs, but not anything too hard. Man just wants to a lil weed and to pass out sometimes.
Skip a few decades and waddles in a 23 year old Monty to replace Bonnie. Diego basically brushed the guy off and told Bonnie he'd be better off else where. Didn't mention they were related. Didn't feel it was worthy of bringing up.
They are related by blood. Diego's bio parents gave him up when he was born, and he got bounced around a lot. Made him a lot of different types of traumatized. But felt so safe and secure with Dawn, and she helped him find some of his family that did want to see him.
Monty's mom adores Diego, partly because he looks just like her. Careful not to say he looks like her sister, his mom. Who was ostracized from the family a number of years prior for just being a shitty person overall. And partly because he's a polite young man who's been nothing short of friendly at the family gatherings :)
Diego doesn't much care for any of his bio family, but knows how far a thank you and a smile can get him :) especially with the scary croc lady
Diego and Monty's relationship is very "we're related, I see you once a year at family gatherings. Don't talk to me.". Diego has always lowkey viewed Montgomery as a loser. A runt who wasn't ever going to go anywhere. He would die the useless sibling to his family.
Yes he has said that to Monty. No Monty has never told anyone. He was 15, being berated by a cousin he didn't know for no reason other than Diego wanted to make him cry and knew Monty wasn't a narc
Bonnie of course asked Monty later if he knew Diego, and got the hint pretty fast how that whole situation is. Didn't really do anything with the information because it didn't seem relevant to him at all. Diego has been his friend for a long ass time, and he just needs Monty to play well so he can retire.
Within the current timeline of the were AU, Monty is 26ish (I've probably said other ages in the past but for now slapping that age on), where Diego is 47, and Bonnie is 55 (not old, old, but old enough to know he wants to kick back. He's been rocking for just over 30 years man).
Diego has made passes at Y/N. Mostly because he knew it upset Monty.
He gets along fine with Morgan, but Montana he's always butted heads with. But he respects her enough to leave her alone.

Imagine DLA reader forcing moon and Monty getting along and the reader just forces monty to give moon flowers thinking it would be sweet while moon and sun is just trying to progress the whole thing
This got away from me a little bit, but it was fun to write.
A side adventure for my Little Assistant fic. Very Monty heavy. Like way more than I was expecting.
Making Amends
You x Monty (bonding)
It was one of those days when Elliot invited you as a tag-a-long for his maintenance duties. Only, this time he seemed to have an ulterior motive. He explained to your mom that he needed to help repair Montgomery Gator's room and that Monty seemed to be more behaved when there were kids around. Your mom was understandably concerned, but you assured her that you met Monty once before and he treated you fine.
“Sun, are you okay if I go help Elliot for a bit?” you asked him.
Sun sighed dramatically, placing a hand on his forehead in a very woe-is-me pose. “I suppose I'll survive. My little assistant abandoning me in my waning hours when I am most bereft and in need.”
“Cool, I knew you'd understand,” you said, giving him the thumbs up and turning to walk away. Sun made a squawk of surprise and you snickered, turning back and giving him a hug around his middle. “I'll spend a little extra time on your post-shift wipe-down to make it up to you. How does that sound?”
He rubbed your head through your uniform cap. “That sounds delightful. Have fun, Starshine.”
You went with Elliot to Rockstar Row, and you noticed immediately that Monty's curtains were drawn. Again. This was a regular occurrence you were noticing. You winced when you heard a large bang coming from inside the room.
Elliot rubbed his neck, sweating pinballs. “If anything happens, get behind me or leave the room as fast as you can, alright?”
“Okay,” you agreed.
Elliot led you to the door of Monty's green room. He knocked, then called out, “Monty, I'm coming in!” and then used his badge to open the door. This wasn't your first visit to Monty's room, nor was it the first time you'd caught Monty in the middle of 'blowing off steam' as he had called it. Even still, seeing a bulky animatronic gator standing in the middle of a scene of destruction was not the most comforting of sights.
As soon as the door opened, Monty's head jerked towards the two of you. “Howdy there, Monty,” Elliot greeted, using a very cordial tone that contradicted his earlier tension.
A low growl rumbled from Monty and though he was wearing shades, you saw his snout twitch lower so that his face was more directed at you peeking out from behind the handyman. “You brought a kid? Autograph sessions are over.”
“They're my friend's kid. They're just here to observe,” Elliot explained, keeping his tone measured.
Monty glared at you, his face leaning in an inch or two before suddenly drawing back. “Wait a second, I remember you.”
“I remember you too,” you answered, daring to step out from behind Elliot's figure. “Thanks again, by the way.”
Monty glanced away, rubbing the back of his neck. “I didn't do nuthin',” he mumbled.
Elliot breathed out a sigh of utter relief. “Alright, welp, I'm just gonna assess the damages. Don't mind me.”
He began wandering the green room, taking note of what was broken and needed to be replaced. Monty shot him a glare but made to move to stop him. It was clear though that the gator was barely tolerating the man's presence.
You edged up to Monty and he stiffened looking down at you. “You don't like people In your room, do you?”
Monty snorted, a hissing sound strongly reminiscent of the noises you'd hear in his gator golf attraction. “Would you enjoy people just letting themselves into your space uninvited?”
You shook your head, feeling guilty. “Sorry... and sorry again about the time before.”
Monty wordlessly turned and stomped over to the couch which was definitely gonna need replacing. The green upholstery had been shredded and the insides were littered around the place. Even so, Monty sat down on it and looked at you. “Well? Don't just stand there gawkin'. Have a seat.”
“Oh, okay,” you said and shuffled over to the couch, sitting down on one of the cushions that wasn't completely mangled. You noticed Elliot was keeping a close eye on you between his note-taking. “So, bad day?”
“What?” Monty asked, looking at you.
It was hard not to be intimidated by the teeth, but you did your best not to think about how sharp they might be. “Did you have a bad day?” you asked, gesturing to the room. “You obviously were blowing off some steam. You wanna talk about it?”
“No!” Monty barked.
“Okay, sorry,” you mumbled, picking at a wad of couch stuffing that was poking out right beside you.
An awkward silence followed for a few beats, only filled by the shuffling of Elliot's shoes as he tried to navigate through the debris. In that time, Monty's crossed his legs, uncrossed them, and then crossed them again. It was like he couldn't get comfortable. He let out another snorting hiss that made you jump a little.
“I was hosting a birthday party, and I brought out the cake. But then the parents start yelling at me that it was the wrong cake. Like it's my fault. I don't make the cakes I just deliver what's given to me, you know?”
You nodded emphatically, letting him know he had your full attention.
“So, this parent is screaming at me that I ruined the kid's birthday party, and the kid starts crying, and all the other kids start screaming because they want cake. And I'm trying to tell this woman to just let me go get a different cake and then one of the kids throws their soda and gets it all over me. Then in walks Mister Congeniality himself...”
“I'm sorry, who?” you asked.
“Who else? Freddy Fazbear.” His hands curled into fists as he says the name. “He just walks up to the parents and apologizes for the inconvenience and basically hijacks the entire party and tells me to leave so I can go clean up and relax. Can you believe that?”
“I mean, yeah, people totally suck sometimes,” you murmured. “Oh, sorry. I'm not supposed to use that word, right?”
Monty snorted. “I don't care. Do you know how many curses I hear in a single day?”
Okay, so he didn't have an anti-swear protocol like Sun and Moon. Neat. “But it sounds like Freddy was just trying to be helpful?”
“I never asked for his help. Him coming in there and taking over, it's like he thinks I can't handle a simple birthday party.”
“Do you like handling birthday parties?”
“What does THAT matter?” Monty asked you. “It don't matter if I like 'em or not, it's part of my job.” He rubbed at his shoulder. “'Sides... I don't mind entertaining kids. Kids are fine, and birthdays are important to 'em. It wasn't even my fault the party was ruined and I wasn't even given a chance to fix it.” Monty hunched forward, resting his elbows on his knees. Now that he was finished venting, he just seemed tired.
You waited for a few beats before asking, “You need a hug?”
Monty's head jerked to look at you. “What?”
“Sunny always gives me hugs when I'm feeling down. He says hugs are magical and make people feel better and that everyone needs a hug once in a while.”
“That sounds like something he would say.” Based on Monty's tone, he was not saying it as a compliment.
Immediately feeling defensive on Sun's behalf, you puffed yourself up. “Sunny is my best friend and I will fight you.”
Monty stared down at you for a beat and snorted, his hand patting your head, surprisingly gentle for his bulk. “You're alright, kid.” He at his shoulder again, glancing away. “I don't need a hug... but if you were wanting one, then... I guess I could humor you.”
You grinned and took him up on the offer, leaning over and hugging him around the torso. Unlike Sun and Moon, you could not get your hands full around him for how bulky he was. However, one of his hands patted your back and you swore you felt his body relax under your touch. You could faintly hear the hum of his inner workings, though it sounded different from the noises you were used to hearing from Sun and Moon.
“Hey, kiddo. Come along, I gotta go grab some equipment to start cleaning up this mess,” Elliot called out.
“I wanna stay with Monty,” you said, before glancing up at the gator. “Er, if that's okay with you?”
You couldn't fully tell, but you thought he looked a little surprised behind his shades. “Yeah, fine by me.”
“Okay.” Elliot looked a little apprehensive, however, glancing between the pair of you, he relented. “I'll be back in a jiffy.” Then he exited the room.
Once he was gone, Monty made a grumbling noise, like clearing his throat. “So, uh, kid... since I did you a favor, think you could do me one?”
You looked up at him. “I thought you said, and I quote 'I didn't do nuthin'.” You only waited for a beat to let that joke hang before saying, “I'm kidding. What do you need?”
“I feel like after what happened, Moon's been avoiding me. I think he's mad about... you know, and since you're so chummy with them, thought maybe you could put in a good word?”
“Why not give him a gift to show your sorry,” you suggested. “Like flowers. Used to, whenever my mom was upset, my dad would bring her flowers or something and they usually made up.”
“Where am I supposed to get flowers?” he asked you pointedly.
“Hmm, okay. Well, why not draw them? Sun and Moon love getting art.”
Monty scratched at his hair. “I... don't really know what flowers look like. Haven't really seen many of 'em around here.”
“I can help with that!” you answered brightly, now fully on board with helping Monty make a gift for Moon.
From your Bonnie backpack -which you took almost everywhere with you- you pulled out some paper and markers. You saw Monty eyeing your backpack and wondered if that was still a sore subject for him.
“Life with the band treating you okay?” you asked tentatively.
“Fine,” he muttered, but you sensed it was not 'fine'.
“I can't say I know what you're going through, but I know what it's like to be the new kid, and I know what it's like to be put somewhere you don't wanna be. It really sucks, and you hate it cuz like, you didn't choose this so why are you getting punished for it? But... sometimes... things end up working out, and then it's not so bad.” You noticed he was staring at you and you flushed, quickly shaking your head. “Sorry, I know I talk too much sometimes.”
“S'fine,” Monty murmured. He awkwardly picked up one of your markers between his claws. “So... um... what flowers should I draw?”
You spent the next hour helping Monty draw a variety of flowers, along with a short apology note. Elliot was in and out with another staff member, doing cleaning while you worked. At one point, when it was just you and Monty, you heard Sun's voice coming from your watch.
“Starshine, are you almost done?”
“Yeah, I'll be back soon,” you answered. Looking up at Monty, you said, “I can take this to Moon if you want.”
“I'll come with you,” Monty said, getting up from the couch. “I'd rather it be in person from me, ya know?”
“I get that.” You shoved your stuff back into your bag and shouldered it. “Are you allowed to leave Rockstar row?'
“Under certain conditions, like escorting a kid back to their parent.”
So, when Elliot came back, you let him know Monty would be taking you back to the daycare. He seemed rather enthused about this, maybe because it meant he and the other staff member could clean without worrying about getting in Monty's way. On the way, you made small talk, asking Monty about things he enjoyed doing in his free time. You learned he actually did enjoy mini golf and asked you if you've ever played at his golf course. You admitted you tried a couple times, but the sound effects were so scary and jarring that you had a hard time focusing on golfing, but the overall design was really neat. Monty then offered you should come golfing when he was hosting and he'd make it not so scary. It was a nice gesture, you felt.
When you arrived back at the daycare, Sun was there to welcome you with open arms. “Oh, I missed you,” he cooed, snuggling you in his arms.
You giggled. “I wasn't gone for that long.”
“It felt like an eternity,” he bemoaned. Shifting you to one arm, he raised the other in a friendly wave. “Hey there, Montgomery! Thank you for bringing our Starshine back to us.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Monty grumbled, clutching the handmade card in his hand. “I got something for ya to give to Moon.”
“Wait, you gotta read it,” you told him.
“Now?” Monty demanded.
“Yes! Moon will hear it, right?” you asked Sun.
“He sure will.”
Monty grumbled but opened the card carefully so as not to tear it. “To Moon, sorry 'bout what happened. Please take these flowers, and this joke: What do you...” He paused, groaning.
“Come on,” you urged gently.
He let out a low, hissing sigh, but he continued. “What do you call an alligator with a compass?”
“I don't know, Monty,” Moon said from your watch. “What?”
“A... navi-gator.”
Sun made a few snorting giggles before breaking down into full-on hysterics, clutching you tightly so that he didn't accidentally drop you. Monty, for his part, looked so thoroughly not amused. “What a delightful joke!” Sun walked over, plucking the card from Monty's hands. “This is definitely going up on the wall.”
“That ain't necessary,” Monty said gruffly.
“Oh, I insist!” Sun said cheerfully. “Consider all forgiven, Monty.”
“Agreed,” Moon said from the watch. “I'll swing by your room later tonight.”
Monty seemed a little relieved to hear this. “Great. I mean, fine. If you want. I don't care.” There was an awkward pause before he said, “I gotta go.” Then he turned and exited the daycare.
“He's such a nice fellow,” Sun commented.
“He is,” you agreed.
Your mom, who had been relaxing at her desk watching the whole thing, sighed. “I love working here.”

I got’s 25 asks, with FNAF lore? 👀
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An important detail that I realize I left out was how Gregory got hurt. In one of the first drafts to this comic, Freddy was going to ask how he got hurt. And Gregory was going to truthfully clarify that he got these injuries by just being on the streets. Tripping in the dark, getting his hands caught in dumpsters doors.. etc.
And then he was going to reach his arm over his shoulder and comment that the bleeding wound on his shoulder was from scraping it on the top of the vent entrance when he broke into the Pizzaplex. This would then lead to Freddy feeling really bad and apologizing for asking him to leave and yadda yadda yadda.
While re-writing the draft I sorta.. accidentally left this part out. Which was my bad, this was something that Gregory should have clarified with Freddy. Buuuut I accidentally wrote it out of the story XD
As for if Gregory was hurt at “home”? Well.. he wasn’t this time, but who’s to say? Maybe that’s why he ran away to the Pizzaplex in the first place? 👀
Tumblr media
In my AU, Sunny and Moony are the same person. No split personalities or anything. Just one animatronic, one personality, 2 nicknames.
And since Foxy and Bonnie have met “Sunny”. they have also met “Moony”, they just didn’t get to see his other form.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In all honesty, this is the one thing in my AU that makes no sense what so ever. Realistically the animatronics wouldn’t be able to cry, that just makes no sense.
But I gave them the ability to cry so that I could draw them more expressively, and because tears are fun to draw--
I guess I could try and make it work. Maybe when they get “emotional” or overwhelmed their wires and circuits get hot. And mayyyybe their optics get brighter and hot, and they need water to cool them down..??
Idk, realistically there is no reason for them to cry and it makes no sense. But.. the emotion,✨ the expression,👌 I gots ta have it. XD
Tumblr media
I am not fully sure why I feel this way, but the reason is that when other artists get fanart,, they seem to like it! And they’re all like “Oh my gosh thank you!! This is so sweet! I feel so awesome!!”
But then when I get fanart I get an anxiety spike and I just think “Wow.. so uhm.. you just stole my characters and drew them without asking huh?--” Even if someone asks me first my brain just goes, “ehh.. but they’re my characters.. I don’t want you to take em and use em..”
I dunno why its like that. And I’m trying to get better about it. But for now all fanarts just physically feel bad, like its theft or something.
Tumblr media
Yes the purple eyes were intentional XD. All the animatronics had purple eyes related to the “bug”. Although Monty wasn’t the first to get it and he didn’t spread it to the others, his eyes were originally red. :0
Tumblr media
In this story, no, Gregory is definitely not the first victim. And he probably wont be the last..
Tumblr media
Sunny actually did intentionally isolate his “murdery” side, but of course he didn’t know that it was actually a “murdery” thing he was dealing with--
Here’s the thing, from Sunny’s perspective.. He started developing a problem with his Moon mode. When ever he went into it, he would forget everything he said and did by the time he went back to his Sunny mode. At first he didn’t really think it was that big of a deal...
But then kids started getting scared of him. And he realized he was going into his moon mode for longer and longer.. without remembering anything. So he tried going to an engineer and asking for help. They gave him a check up but couldn’t find anything wrong. “Okay” he thought, “I must be fine then..”
So that night he left the daycare to go visit DJ.. But then next thing you know, he’s waking up on the brightly lit dance floor, and DJ does not look happy.
DJ wouldn’t tell him, but he knew that he must’ve done something wrong. Something that unsettled the DJ. He knew right then that he had to get this fixed.
So he goes to an employee again, telling them something is wrong with his moon form. But again.. they tell him nothing is wrong and to go back to work.
This time though, Sunny doesn’t go back to work. He doesn't know what’s wrong with him. But after the kids started getting scared, and he upset the DJ, he decided that he’s just.. going to never use his moon mode until he knows its safe to.
..Its been a few months now, and Sunny has still not left the Daycare. DJ is getting really worried about his friend, But Sunny is doing the right thing, he’s protecting innocent children by locking himself away, and he doesn’t even really know it. He thinks he’s just preventing himself from scaring people and acting super weird. When it reality he’s saving lives.
Tumblr media
In the past the animatronics were their true, organic selves on stage. And the employees kind’a thought it was a little creepy. How.. alive they seemed. Especially Foxy,,
But now a days the animatronics act a little less “sentient” during the day. Seeming to be a lot more normal and robot like.
I mean, they still seem crazy sentient compared to the STAFF bots, but they still feel kind’a robotic because they cant look sad or unexcited on the floor, They always gotta be happy! And fun! So they kind’a fall hard into their core programing and just follow the script.
Its at night though where their true sentience can be seen. Sunny/Moony always leaving the daycare and spending time with DJ in the Arcade. Even through they weren’t programmed to be friends.. or even know each other..
Chica always going into Freddy’s room to hang out, even though she is scheduled to stay in her room. The animatronics talking to each other, moving around more organically. Showing emotions and behaviors that they aren’t programmed to express. Anger, sadness, fear..
At this time of night though, none of the employees see them like this. In present times, the only ones who have witnessed their true selves, whether in person or on camera, is Gregory.. and Vanessa.
Tumblr media
@definitelynot7ratsinabeecostume XD I would argue except for DJ. The only thing with him is that he’s worried about the Daycare attendant, and he gets kind’a lonely in the Arcade all by himself.. :’(
Tumblr media
@randox-talore I haven’t actually fully thought out what playthrough Gregory did. And whether or not he took the others upgrades. But if he did, then yeah the employees would just remove the upgrades and reset Freddy again, thinking that it must have been the “Bug”..
Tumblr media
@burningmusicfunnygiant Gregory has no intentions to at the moment, he’s still scared of them.. 😅
Tumblr media
@sw124
Tumblr media
THNSK YOU AN UT WELCOMEEEEHHHHAHHSHSH
Tumblr media
It depends on what new content is in the DLC. If the DLC content fills in some holes and helps my AU have a stronger structure then I will, if not? I’ll probably just pretend it doesn’t exist XD
Tumblr media
@shadowscrossing Awe, little Bibi bow!
Tumblr media
(In reference to this post)
XD I tried to make it look that way. I was inspired by the way characters from Sky: Children of the Light, look.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@mister-jedblack If the other animatronics meet Gregory, it will be on accident most likely. Gregory has no intentions of meeting the animatronics, and Freddy has no intention of letting them find him.
Tumblr media
Recently I’ve been thinking about getting into Amphibia, maybe there’s stuff I could “factualize” there? XD. Or maybe not. I can see myself just making the characters more biologically closer to frogs, but I think the show already does that--

Eh, he’ll be fine XD

in my portrayal of Lucy I will be leaning heavily into the fact that to me the biggest influences in Lucy's life were:
-Hank, a pre-war man, not raised with Vault's values, perfectly capable of murdering people (the look they gave each other after he was killing Monty tho) -Rose, a woman raised with Vault's values who still had enough independent thinking and curiosity to question what was going on, figured out she was being lied to, opened the door of the Vault to take her kids away with her after growing up in a world where people think raiders can be re-educated and them showing their b.utthole means they are trying to communicate, definitely a wild card -Norm, her brother, raised by Hank and partly Rose, who goes against the Vault's values too by not caring in the slightest about the Vault-life, who is calculative and chooses the exact right time to say something that can start a problem ("thank you, overseer" to the two acting-overseerS), absolutely a man who has used sarcasm before. Like his mother, he will question and investigate. -Steph, a woman pre-war who has an enormous violent streak considering there is no reason why she should be that capable of fighting whether she's Vault Tec or a Vaultie, to the point of going one-eyed rambo with a machine-gun. Steph who I believe is the reason Lucy knows the word Mo-therfucker and more swearwords than she should, and who could also be resentful and spiteful like Norm (and poison people) if pushed
Hence why I think Lucy knows swearwords (seriously, nobody said m.otherfucker to her on the surface and we know the vaulties don't really swear, she heard it in the Vault), can be sarcastic even if she tries not to because 'it's not constructive' (yelling at the ghoul for being mad she broke his vials while trying not to die, to the point that even the ghoul was like 'fair enough' and didn't shoot her), is so combactive and brave in general. But also why I think Lucy could, if pushed, wait and strike with some seriously hurtful words the same way she can bite someone's finger if pushed around enough? And don't give me the 'it's the surface that affected her!' because she was there three-four days at MOST when she had the whole thing with the Ghoul.
