also re: prev the ambiguity of the "should not adultify" section is also making me a little uneasy because like. sexually suggestive things are already not allowed in skins/accents to the point ive seen multiple people have to remove or heavily edit fishnets for clearly goth/emo/scene designs because All Fishnet falls under the no suggestive policy. like i get what they're Trying to do but it feels like we're about to go through something similar to the "xyz wounding on adults is okay but THIS is gore and is banned/THIS liquid is fine but THIS liquid is harm and needs to be changed" in terms of like. things that are feminine for hatchling skins
like i can for sure accept that if wolffe was a permababy i would definitely Not be able to make his accent for a permababy (for ref his accent is a harness like a working draft horse would wear for pulling a cart/a sled dog's harness) but there's also a degree of vagueness and an unfortunate reality for bad faith readings that i feel like they should REALLY have written an actual expanded guide for this.

Any good Chinese LGBT drama/ movie recommendations? And where to watch it?
Hmmm I thought I would have a lengthy list of recommendations but limited to just Chinese-language films/dramas, and ones that I would actually recommend, I realise that my list is a lot shorter 😅.
These are pretty much all going to be gay (mlm). Sorry for the lack of diversity 😔. Summaries are taken from Letterboxd for the most part.

Drama Recs
Most of the LGBT dramas I've watched are trash or censored, sorry to say, and I tend to watch movies over dramas, so what's left for me to recommend is just from the HIStory (Linked: wiki with summaries) Taiwanese webdrama anthology:
HIStory1: My Hero (PR: 3/5)
HIStory1: Obsession (PR: 3/5)
History2: Crossing the Line (PR: 3.5/5)
History3: Trapped (PR: 3.5/5)

take me to the lakes where all the poets went to die: boring, overused, factually incorrect, sung by taylor swift and referencing wordsworth who had foresaken his revolutionary ideas and became conservative
take me to italy where all the poets went to die: factually correct, slutty, fun, hip, referencing the objectively better romantics percy shelley and john keats who both had very cunty deaths

“we think the legal age for weed should be 25 because that’s when the brain stops developing and also because weed is linked to some people developing schizophrenia”
look I am not someone who thinks cannabis is some panacea but holy fucking shit. one, that is Not How Brain Development Works and two, the relationship between cannabis use and schizophrenia is more complex than “if you smoke weed you will develop schizophrenia.” (The linked article, which is pretty anti-cannabis, states several times that while cannabis use can cause psychosis – which is different than schizophrenia – in some people, development of schizophrenia has a lot to do with other factors, like genetics, besides just “did you smoke weed?” We know that cannabis use is correlated with higher likelihood of developing schizophrenia, but that does not mean cannabis usage causes schizophrenia.)
also I think that if you are saying this shit in a ***policy/legislation position*** you need to show more proof and explain the complexity better than just spouting pseudoscience (the brain development thing) or oversimplifying a very complex topic (the “cannabis is linked to development of schizophrenia” thing). but what would I, a person with a public health background who does policy research as part of my job, know about that? after all, I’m just a crazy schizophrenic person with a schizophrenia-spectrum disorder so clearly anything I say on the issue is ill-informed and a sign I don’t have perspective on my illness! (\heavy sarcasm)
