You meet his daughter - Hayden Christiensen

You're lay on the sofa cuddling with Hayden, watching your favourite movie on the TV when his phone goes. It's one of your lazy Sundays...

"Sorry baby" he says as he pauses the tv to answer the phone.

"It's ok Hay" you say as you snuggle under the blanket and into his chest a little more.

"Hey Rachel" You never know what's going to be said when his ex wife calls out of the blue. Maybe about money?

"I know its not your day, but could you possibly have Briar for the day?" you hear Rachel say down the phone... You've never met Haydens daughter but you've always wanted to, ever since you met him one whole year ago.

Hay looks down at you looking for your confirmation, you shake your head as you eyes light up. You finally get to meet Briar.

"I'll pick her up in an hour" Hay says before hanging up the phone. Before he can even say anything you jump up off the sofa in excitement. You get to meet mini Hay!

"Hay, I'm so excited, I can't wait to meet her" you say making him smile up at you before he gets up off the sofa and pulls you in for a deep, passionate kiss.

"I'm glad baby, we need to get ready... we have an hour." he says as he leads you into the bedroom to get changed out of your cozy pjs into something casual.

"what are we going to do with her?" you ask as you rummage through your wardrobe wondering what to wear.

"Was thinking the beach or the park, she loves them" Hay says as he slips a tee and some joggers on... you love seeing him like this, all casual and comfy.

"I guess I'll go with a dress then" you say making hay smile as he sits down on the bed and watches you with his prying eyes.

"you look beautiful, Briar will love you" Hay says as he pulls you in for a kiss... "we've got to go baby" He says before slipping a cap on, covering up his curls. You decide to slip your sandals on that go with your dress.

...

When the two of you pull up at Rachel's house you can't help but feel nervous. You're about to meet Haydens child... Hay picks up on your nerves and pulls you in for a hug.

"She's going to love you baby" He says before pulling you in for a kiss. "I'll be back in a second" Hay says as he gets out of the car, all you can do is sit there and wait.

About 2 minutes pass then you're looking out of the car window at Hayden walking towards the car with a beautiful little girl in his arms. She's wearing a little white hat and some sunglasses, she's the cutest.

As Hay is strapping her into her car seat he introduces you to her. "Briar, this is (Y/N), she's very special to daddy" He says as you turn around to wave at her.

"Hey Briar!" you say as you smile at her.

"Hey (Y/N)" she says as she waves her little hands at you. Hayden looks up and smiles at you before closing Briars door and getting into the drivers seat.

"beach daddy?" Briar asks, making the two of you smile.

"I told you she'd want go to the beach." Hay says as you laugh.

"Yes baby, were going to the beach with (Y/N)" He says as he grabs onto out hand.

"Can we build sandcastles with (Y/N)?" your heart is so full at this moment.

"I'd love to build them with you" you say making her face light up.

...

When you pull up to the car park Briar can barely stay in her seat, she's so excited. "Here we are baby" Hay says as he gets out of the car to get Briar out of her seat.

"Daddy! The beach!" Briar says as she jumps up and down whilst Hay gets the buckets and spades out of the boot. "come on (Y/N)" Briar says as she grabs onto your hand. You turn around to see Hayden smiling at the two of you as he follows you.

"It seems I've been replaced" Hay says as he sits down onto the sand with you whilst you help briar makes mini sandcastles.

"Sorry Hay" you say before kissing him on the lips.

"Its your turn (Y/N)" Briar says as she hands you the little bucket and spade with her little hands.

"My castle won't be as good as your Briar" you say as you fill the bucket up with sand...

The rest of the day is spent with a whole lot of sandcastles, sandy toes, ice creams, cuddles and kisses. You wouldn't want it any other way.

1- When did you start playing Choices? What was the first book you played? 

I started playing in 2016, I can't remember if I read Endless Summer or Rules of Engagement first, but I ended up deleting the app after like 2 weeks cause I couldn't stop buying diamonds 😅🤦

I re-downloaded it about, ohh idk 2 years ago?

2- When and why did you join Choices fandom?

I joined the Fandom specifically on Tumblr and specifically for It Lives Within, which happened to come out right after I read the first two books 

3- How did you pick your blog name? 

I always try to seem cool and mysterious when I meet people irl, and then as soon as I open my mouth, I ruin it with some niche trivia or something, and they say,  “Oh, so you're a nerd.” 😂 Can't tell you how many times this exact phrase has been uttered to me. 

4- Pull up the first post in your archive, and tell us about it!  

This is the first Choices related post I made 😂 I was just thinking about the concept of what if characters make terrible decisions cause they're controlled by a player who is out of diamonds lol I was going to do a whole series of them (next was going to be lotr “fly on eagles to mordor?” *30 diamonds* or “simply walk”) but got lazy lol

5- Do you write fanfiction, create fan art, or are you one of those really gifted people who do both? 

Only art. God, I  WISH  I wrote too. I've thought about trying cause I have so many ideas floating around in my head, but at the end of the day, I'd rather spend my free time drawing. 

6- How long have you been creating for Choices and for any other fandoms?

For Choices, since early 2022

For other fandoms, since well, forever, but I only started posting around 2017/18

7- What is your favorite Choices book, and what is your favorite Choices book to create for?

Favorite Choices book is probably It Lives in the Woods. All of the characters were so interesting, I never got bored reading it, and it had an incredible twist that made sense but I still didn't see coming. 

Favorite to create for is probably Blades of Light and Shadow though because I am such a sucker for the fantasy aesthetic.

8- Share your first Choices fanfic or fan art that you posted with us. Do you still like it, or would you change it if you were creating it today?.

This isn't the first Choices art I made, but it IS the first I actually shared

And honestly, I DO still like it because I still remember the way I felt absolutely POSSESSED while drawing it (I hadn't drawn anything for *months*). I would definitely change the background, though. Those trees look like shit, and they're not even the correct type for the kind of forest they're in. 

9- What is your favorite piece of fiction or art that you created? 

My favorite Choices art I've done is probably this piece. 

10- Do you have a fic/art that you didn’t expect to be well received, but it was? What about one you expected to do well but found it could use a little more love?

I definitely didn't expect this one to do well at all as it was so hastily drawn

And I was sad this piece didn't get more love, it was such a dope scene and I was so excited about how the sword turned out

11- If you could only draw one style or type of art for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? 

I'm not sure if I'm interpreting the question right, but if I had to pick like a specific type of art, it would be digital, and I would want to do fan art. I have a hard time painting anything that I don't already have a deep connection with (so original art with no story behind it is usually a chore for me), and digital art is just so incredibly convenient and not messy and so so versatile. 

12 - Do you ever recognize yourself in any of your MCs or in your writing?

Because I use fiction as a way to safely process trauma/ grief/ other big emotions, each MC I make has a small part of me, whichever part I feel the need to explore at the time.

There's an amazing quote by Patrick Rothfuss that I feel explains it perfectly. 

It's from Wise Man's Fear

“These folk knew all about death. They killed their own livestock. They died from fevers, falls, or broken bones gone sour. Death was like an unpleasant neighbor. You didn’t talk about him for fear he might hear you and decide to pay a visit.

Except for stories, of course. Tales of poisoned kings and duels and old wars were fine. They dressed death in foreign clothes and sent him far from your door. A chimney fire or the croup cough were terrifying. But Gibea’s trial or the siege of Enfast, those were different. They were like prayers, like charms muttered late at night when you were walking alone in the dark. Stories were like ha’penny amulets you bought from a peddler, just in case.”

13 - What element of writing/art do you struggle with most?

I have a very difficult time making the poses seem natural and flowing. My all time favorite art is Baroque/Renaissance style and how fluid the poses are, how soft the skin looks, how delicately it's all done. Obviously, I will always have my own style, but those are things that I so want to incorporate but never seem to get quite right, and it drives me crazy 😂

14 - Do you have any neglected work you really want to finish?

Not really. I mean, I have a ton of unfinished work, but as soon as the window of inspiration passes, I just can't get myself to care enough about it to finish it (insert Jake the Dog, “now it's gone, and I don't care about it anymore!” )

15 - If someone you know in real life (who isn’t involved in fandoms) asked to see your work, would you let them? If yes, what would you show them first? 

I would, and have.  I typically show them whatever most rendered recent picture from my Instagram because I don't post any nsfw there and usually try to post only my prettier work for this specific reason haha. (As opposed to here, I post everything here, ain't NO ONE from real life invited to see my tumblr 😂)

16 - Are there any writers (published authors and/or fanfic writers) who influenced your writing or art? Are there any artists that influence you?

Writers: Brandon Sanderson, for sure. He's the reason I got back into art back in 2017 ish. His stories are just so emotional they push me to create. Same with @saibug1022, there is always at least one scene from every story he shares that I desperately want to draw to try to capture the emotions. 

Artists: God, sooo many, here are just like my top 3 favorites and their instagrams.

Obsessed with her unique style, and specifically the way she draws eyelids and noses

The way they draw those dripping, glowing wisps. I stare at their pieces for hours (no lie) trying to dissect them stroke by stroke to figure out how they do it.

Their art has a delicate whimsy-ness I would SELL MY SOUL to achieve 

17- Which one of your creations would you like to see a fiction written about? 

JC, this is the shit I DREAM of.

Definitely this one.

Very rarely, but I do, every so often. This is my favorite original piece.

20-  What other hobbies do you have?

Gaming, singing, walking through the Cemetary with my wee daughter, reading, that's about it 🤷

um truth be told my love i have been in SUCH a slump lately,,,, its been tough out here.

i only read like 3 books very recently (last month or so)

I did read All The Little Raindrops by Mia Sheridan my QUEEN. its like a mystery thriller with a side of romance!!! Sheridan's books are ALWAYS a hit (she's very popular for her booktok famous Archer's Voice? And Travis !!) I've read like. most of her books at this point. I have never devoted myself to an author so much. She got me into the whole thriller genre and I LOVE her. so much. ITS SO GOOD AAAA. its not for the faint of heart and on more than once i find myself with the need to throw up with how HORRIFYING and messed up some of this stuff is (most of her thriller books are not for the faint of heart. lots of horrific stuff that is all too real and it makes it 10x more disturbing). Anyway i loved it i think i gave it a 4/5 stars it was so so good

2. i ALSO started Ana Huang's If Love series. I literally never shut up about Ana Huang like. EVER and i had been wanting to read this for a while and IM SO GLAD I GOT IT STARTED !!! Its a LOT less popular than hr Twisted and Kings of Sin series; she wrote it well before she got popular/published but its so good. its def not Twisted/Kings of Sin series but it makes it sooo clear how much she's grown in her writing, character development and general story telling!!! I read the first 2 books and UGHGUGHUFGHUFGHG yeah. new comfort series fr fr fr fr.

I also got digging through Lynn Painter's works (Love Wager, Mr Wrong Number, Better Than The Movies, etc) 10/10 her rom coms are sacred to me. this was a while ago though like. months ago lmao but i think abt her books always!!!

OH OH OMG I READ BIRTHDAY GIRL BY PENELOPE DOUGLAS !!!! SOME TIME AGO!!! yeah it changed my brain chemistry. i dont remember if i told you or not. but it changed my life. i think about it always.

edit: omg shut up i forgot i read some banger books months ago that i did not mention. i ate up Liz Tomforde's sports romance series (Windy City series) it was SO FREAKING GOOD. she had hockey romance, she had basketball romance she had BASEBALL ROMANCE. 10/10 amazing vibes

I ate through the latest of Lauren Asher's (Love Redesigned) IT WAS ALSO HELLA GOOD!! Ana Huang's King of Greed was also a vibe. not my fav but it was good. I ALSO delved into hockey romance SOOO DEEP. Fav series is probably Becka Mack's Playing For Keeps. It's the silliest stupidest fluffy no plot head empty series ever. the first book is 90% porn. its just for the giggles. the second is a bit better but the third is def the best in terms of actual plot & character development for example but the vibes are astronomical and i live for them

i ALSO started reading Sarah Adam's small town romance series (very very good). All fluffy fall vibes. CHLOE GONG HAD COME OUT WITH A NEW BOOK IN THE SUMMER AND I GOT TO IT AROUND THE NEW YEAR AND IT WAS SOOO GOOOD. Immortal Longings mm......she destroyed me once again.

1. What’s your favorite sims death? well, I prefer my sims not to die at all 🤭 if they do, it’s usually from a good old age

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? today it’s mostly maxis match / maxis mix. I had an alpha phase during the sims 2-3 era though

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? nope. I do not mind if they gain/lose weight on their own

4. Do you use move objects? always

5. Favorite mod? First Impressions and PreferencesPlus, these are relatively small mods, but they give sims some much needed depth

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? for Sims 4 it was City Living and Vampires, if I remember correctly. for sims in general, it was Makin’ Magic🪄 

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? well, I played with a particular redhead sim a few years ago, he was beautiful and very evil 😁 had a lot of fun, will definetely recreate him in the future 

9. Have you made a simself? no, mostly because I’m generaly bad at making sims based on real people

Listen. I get not being happy your ship didn’t get more stuff this season. But ignoring how amazingly written this season was compared to the last just because of less romance is so stupid. And That’s the only thing Sylki shippers are saying. Like it is so stupid. Sorry ya girl and your guy didn’t smooch during a story that WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE FOCUSED ON THAT.

My opinion is my own business. You are not happy ? Ignore posts about this.

Also, the basic story of the Loki series was built on the Sylki relationship (Loki was literally kept by the TVA only to find her) and also by extension their very explicit romance, and of course, the fact that together, these two were stronger. Season 1 and therefore the basic story was literally built around the Sylki relationship, which is, it happens to be romantic, whether you like it or not. Hell, there's even a whole lot of thinking and questions about what love is in season 1. Sylvie was even discreetly associated as Loki's glorious purpose in episode 5.

And in season 2, this glorious purpose becomes Loki sitting on this throne in this tree that I hate. It wasn't me who decided all that in season 1, but the creators of the series, who in season 2, finally decided to change their objective.

Even those who are not focused on the Sylki relationship can see that something is wrong in comparison to season 1, when it comes to paying attention to the characters. This season 2 is more about the universe than anything else sometimes. Beyond the Sylki romance (which becomes subtext in season 2) and relationship, the character of Sylvie herself took a hit by becoming secondary more than anything else without much notable action, I have already said it, as well as other annoying things that I have already mentioned in others publications in relation to this story of a collapsing universe.

But I got lost, so, to return to the romance, you make me laugh with your "that WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE FOCUSED ON THAT". We must not have seen the same series two years ago then.

Because season 1 was precisely centered on Sylki, their respective characters and their relationship, which is romantic.

I will never understand people who can be so disturbed by a story with romance at its heart. It doesn't kill anyone, people, and it's not a cheap scenario ?

Also, Loki has already had a horrible ending once, a second time is what we call lazy screenwriters. You don't bring back a dead character who's already had a pretty shitty life to give them another type of shitty ending.

And even if Loki returns and his story is not yet finished (with Sylvie and Thor), the path the writers of this season 2 took to get him to where he is was, in my opinion, poorly done. Whether you like it or not ! Also, I want to say that no anonymous person with his messages will change my mind on this subject. Waste your time if you enjoy sending me empty messages.

My lovely, lovely @mentallyundone tagged me. I think I already did this a few months ago, but I'll do it again. Miss you babe, thank you for the tag

1. Are you named after anyone?

No. I was supposed to be named Rocío, since my mom chose it and they had the agreement that if I was born female she would choose it, but my dad and godfather registered me as Vanesa because they saw it in a store and sounded good. This is the official story, and i know this sounds terrible, but there's an emotional explanation to this. According to the doctors, I wasn't supposed to survive. I was born very ill, and they told my parents that I wasn't going to make it. My dad registered me with another name so my mom's favorite girl's name wouldn't be attached to bad memories. Funny thing is, I'm an only child, and Rocío is a name that got eventually unused. My mom have been years telling this story saying that this is a reason for divorce, but only a few years ago my dad told why he did it. She doesn't think is a reason to divorce anymore.

2. when was the last time you cried?

Strictly speaking, November 4th. I saw a show that made me sob like a little child. If the question goes for when was the last time I cried in a bad way, I'm happy to say that I don't remember when it was the last time. I've cried a lot for bad reasons, but I can't recall when it was the last one. I've been crying more lately for good reasons than bad.

3. do you have kids?

Not yet. I want to, though, in an immediate future, but I'm scared shitless about this. I'd love to adopt a kid, though.

4. what sports do you/have you play/played?

Badminton, Karate and flamenco dance. I love to dance.

5. do you use sarcasm?

Not enough.

6. whats the first thing you notice about people?

I don't really know, it depends on the day. Sometimes I see physical traits, some days I get the vibes in general. I guess that overall the first thing I notice is if they give me good vibes.

7. whats your eye color?

Green-ish. I mean, it's a blend of blue, green and golden. For some reason they look deep blue when I'm at the beach or in sunny places.

8. scary movies or happy endings?

Yes (scary movies can have happy endings!!!!) Don't really understand this question.

9. any talents?

No, not really. What I do best is the result of hard work and practice, but I don't think 'talent' is a word for it.

10. where were you born?

Málaga, Spain.

11. what are your hobbies?

Reading, drawing, music. Binging series and films. For something different I'll say that I do love going to the theatre to watch musicals and plays. My favorites so far are The Lion King and Les Mis.

12. do you have any pets?

Yes!!! My lazy ass, half devilisy 60 pound dog, Appa. Named after the flying bison, of course

13. how tall are you?

5'1. Small one here.

14. favorite subject in school?

Art, English and Literature. In that order.

15. dream job?

I'd love to make a living out of my art. Working from home, or maybe doing some studies to become a tattoo artist. I think I would be an amazing tattoo artist, I love linearts. But when I was a kid, my dream job was (wait for it) librarian.

Ooh, another one came to me when I sent the technology one.

In going back and reviewing the original MHNY trilogy plot, story, everything built between characters etc, what did you do? What did you decide to scrap, to keep, or to repurpose? You said you're aiming to branch away from 2 and 3 with something different, and disliked how you kept yourself to following the plot beats of the original first, right?

What does that clean slate look like? What pieces in Re:1 act as the catalyst to those further down in Re:2&3? The largest ones are obvious, (obviously) the big glaring plot changes. Are there more subtle ones? (don't have to say if you want to keep em a secret.)

Or, just, what things thru all three stories made you die inside and scream why did you write that? (I feel like you have a list.)

I'm gonna answer with spoilers because I'm having a good time answering these. These are HEAVY spoilers for the direction of the fic. As Re:MHNY2 is currently aiming at a Spring release date, I feel more lax about it's secrets, but still. If you don't want to know, don't look.

CW// Mentions of sexual themes, explicit themes, the briefest of mentions of non-con as a theme

This is a really fun question in particular, because it was really something I wrestled with just in the conception of this fic series so many months ago, going back and forth with "do I want to do a rewrite? and if I do, knowing I had a second chance, what would I fix?"

I'll fully admit there are people who remember my fics better than I do (I am looking respectfully at @rllybritrlly whenever literally anything about From Your Memory gets brought up). That meant I really needed to reread my original fics to even remember all the details, what I wrote about them, read my cringe tween A/N's, etc. As Re:1 was the baby that started it all, I really wanted to pay as much homage as possible to it. Also, even so many years later, I still liked the overall plot, even if I felt the details could've been better executed, and I could've done without the various problematic themes. I think I've given the lengthy answer before, somewhere, but the short of it is mostly these major points:

I didn't like the weird sexually exploitative relationship between Zim/Gaz with the kissing/touching. Additionally, I knew I could make the inevitable ZAGR kiss way more dramatic if it was roped into the climax instead of just randomly thrown in the mix in problematic ways from the mid-arc. I LOVED writing the kiss in the rewrite, and it was actually one of the first scenes I rewrote, even before officially announcing/confirming the rewrite.

I didn't like Gaz and Dib's relationship. I love cruel, troubled Gaz, but I don't think it benefited the story to make her so constantly dismissive of Dib, to the point where he was sometimes written like an afterthought. I think IZ as a whole benefits from the complex relationships the characters have with one another, and the Re:MHNY series could benefit from developing those changing relationships rather than stagnating on them.

I had no idea when writing the original MHNY that I was ever going to do a sequel, or the direction of the finale. It was originally a one-and-done until I think the second-to-last chapter, when I decided I had more to write, and liked my readership too much to give it all up with a one-hit-wonder. Now that I know where the finale goes, I really wanted the opportunity to drop more lore, hints, and foreshadowing. The biggest example is Tak, whose name I basically borrowed as recognizable since I was too lazy to make a one-off OC, and only after-the-fact found a way to reweave her back into the third installment. Tak's fate is not going to be the same as it was in the original, and also, in the first rewritten fic, we got more insight into her personality. Not a lot, granted, but enough where the reader would be able to notice changes later on.

Discerning readers may have noticed that I kept the same amount of chapters in the rewrite as I did the original. If you compare chapters 1:1, a lot of the bigger themes parallel one another. Gaz is still ensnared by alien parasitic technology in chapter 1 of the rewrite as she was in the original, albeit in much bloodier circumstances. Zim's motorcycle/car chase in the original in chapter 6 is paralleled by the chase in chapter 6's rewrite, even though the circumstances are vastly different. Zim feigning a long-term, committed relationship in chapter 17 of the rewrite is a big nod to the original, in which Zim bartered for Gaz's life on the premise that they were more together than they really were, even with the kissing/touching premise they had with one another. Additionally, the theme of 'Zim hacks the Valkian ship' stays, even if it's once again executed under different circumstances. The details change, yes, but ultimately the Valkians are still slaughtered. That dedication I made towards keeping Re:MHNY1 as 1:1 as possible was a fun challenge in its way, but it's not going to happen in the sequels.

Regarding Re:mhny2 and Re:mhny3, I will only be borrowing the most basic of premises. As announced earlier this year, Iggins is still in the next fic. However, his differences are major, and a closely guarded secret I have only really shared with I think my internet bestie and my boyfriend. Again, anyone not looking for spoilers may want to skip this ask.

Some sneaky secrets are how I left whether or not Gaz went back to finish the tournament ambiguous. Additionally, that unlike the finale of the original MHNY, Gaz and Dib do not ever have another 'on-screen' discussion after she's rescued. Zim and Dib do, yes, but Gaz and Dib do not. There's a joke in Ch 20 about Zim showing up in his living room with cocoa, but the nature of any sibling conversations, if any even occurred, are also left deliberately absent and/or ambiguous. It's noted that they spent the majority of the aftermath resting, and really not a lot else. The most screen time Dib gets is being thrown out of the operating room in the flashback.

Unlike the original, where Tak was originally just used as a throwaway name-drop when I was too lazy to make an Irken OC or find another way to justify why someone might call to warn Zim about the Valkians, or even know who he was, I currently know Tak's fate in the rewrite, and I knew it when I wrote it, too, which means I got to sneak in that little ominous line of the Tallest when hearing her report in Ch 20.

“Now,” he said, doing his best to shrug off the strain of morning. “Go get that she-Irk again.”

A discerning reader might also have noticed Professor Membrane is not brought home, and never told what actually happened. Aside from some angsty pining from the Membrane siblings, his personal involvement ends when Dib abandons him at his conference and comes home for Gaz. That being said, there's also an interesting few paragraphs that have been brought up and pointed out to me individually before on Discord, and that other readers may have picked up on as well from Ch 18 that are going to be important to the sequels.

She hated this. She hated hiding herself behind veils of cynical wit and aloofness just to survive—to barely endure while she festered inside. She hated her father, drilling into her how uncomfortable people could be around her. That scaring people was wrong. That friends and admiration from peers were so very important. Don’t be angry, Gazlene. Be motivated! Don’t be frightened of change! Embrace it!

Zim had never demanded change. Zim had only ever ripped out the honesty, the worst parts of Gaz that she had buried under years of practiced apathy, and embraced them with open fascination. Sick. Accepting. Conniving.

You killed an Elite, his voice whispered, a caress on trembling limbs.

She had. She remembered every vivid detail like a flash bomb. The fear. The rage. The burning resentment. The same theme over and over. That she never should’ve been there. She never should’ve been here . That something had tried to take her life over nothing . That she had every right to fear for her life. 

The flashbacks that left her breathless. The fear, genuine, and yet underlied with something she dared not admit to even herself. Years of her fathers conditioning cushioning the awful truth of his daughter. She was just a teenage girl—once a child—who should never have been formed this way.

His son had inherited his father’s bravery and passion to learn, and twisted it into a dangerous recklessness. A need for pursuit and answers at all costs.

His daughter had inherited her father’s calculating practicality, and it had mutated into a vicious willingness to do the very worst thing for the necessary reason.

You killed an Elite, she heard once more. 

But this time, a loathsome truth followed. 

And you want to do it again.

As trademark as Gaz's viciousness is throughout the IZ series in general, and in this fic, her strict restraint being pinned on her father's discipline may seem out of place with only this fic to go off of. While it can definitely be read as a standalone, it does (deliberately) give the reader pause. Professor Membrane praises Gaz in the series for being his favorite child, not for being a menace to society as a whole, so where's this coming from? Why are Zim and Professor Membrane playing devil-and-angel-on-her-shoulder in her (concussed) brain? And notably, if that's their assigned role, where Membrane is the voice of restraint, and Zim the voice of rationality, then it should be noted that Zim's voice won. This should leave you asking why that is, and if that's always going to be the case.

A funner teaser is some foreshadowing I dropped throughout the story about what mating is going to look like in this fic. I wrote a lot of what I wrote about sex, love, and marriage under a heavy veil of religious indoctrination, which distorted and I think damaged the potential creativity of my writing. Virginity-cultural stigma somehow shoe-horned its way into my fic, and I don't really want that to happen again, which means there's going to be a lot more lewd scenes leading up to a sexual relationship. We're not just gonna have our characters go from making out to full penetrative sex. That's skipping quite a few bases. I've expanded behind the scenes a lot more information about Irken culture/mating, and while penetrative sex has been established as off-limits until such a time as our two heroes may deign to bind themselves to one another for eternity, I am not going to leave you hanging in the meantime. Some hints however about what mating looks like in the rewrite have been dropped, such as this nibble in Ch 9.

As he'd briefly gone over with the human girl, irken rituals of courtship were far different than any found on Earth. There was no religious entity or documentation, and the ceremony required complete isolation for at least three days.

He could never have that with Gaz. For one thing, she had no PAK. Well, she did, but it didn't actually count. Any attempt to encode the PAK was pointless, and furthermore, the PAK wasn't integrated to her brain the way it was to Zim's, or any other Irken's. It held no influence, and no significance to her decisions. While Zim's PAK may bind him for eternity, the human wouldn't be bound by anything other than the whims of her fleeting, mortal affection.

I outright name the ceremony in Re:mhny2, and also plan on further establishing teasers here and there about what's in store.

Skoodge is also a big teaser in himself! Skoodge is a competent invader and a traitor to the Empire, whom Zim has explicitly expressed allyship towards. He is definitely going to be important later on.

Regarding what a clean slate looks like for the sequels, I'll go ahead and name some big ones off the bat. Again, spoilers.

In Re:mhny2, Iggins is ultimately the antagonist, but whether or not he's the or even a villain is going to be something I look forward to watching readers debate about. That's what I mean by clean slate. Iggins was inarguably the bad guy and a major shithead in the original sequel. In the rewrite, Iggins may be a shithead, but what I really disliked about the original was how one-dimensional he was. Additionally, I think it's a more interesting story not for the protagonists to overcome the antagonist in a linear journey, but for the antagonist to grab the protag's by the neck and drag them into the mud with them. What if the hero's journey isn't upward, but one where simply keeping afloat equates success? What if not drowning is the victory? Metaphorically speaking, Re:mhny2 is going to start with fearless characters and end with characters who never look at the ocean the same way again, and are wizened for it.

Whereas the original was just kind of 'watch these characters be badass and mercilessly inflict pain on a bad guy' Re:mhny2 is basically going to be a lot of character self-reflection. I love the IZ characters for their flaws, but we're not going to get real, raw growth out of them if they're not forced to take on their own misdeeds and mistakes by metaphorical knifepoint. Re:mhny2 is going to be about them and the knife. And by them, I mean all 3 of the main cast, plus Iggins.

Re:mhny3 is similar. I'm excited to write about Iggins, but I am ecstatic to get another shot about a Zim-pocalypse. Enter the Florpus gave me so much new source material about what Zim successfully taking over the Earth, even for a short while, would look like, and I'm grateful for its contributions to the finale's development. Zim is still going to take over the Earth. Why, how, and under what circumstances is drastically different, and since its release is much farther out than the sequel, I will restrain myself to only give you this single, but eye-opening question when I talk about major, complete deviations from the plot. I have always regretted my impatience with MHNY3 for many things, but mostly one:

Wouldn't it have been a much more interesting story if Gaz really didn't know what was going on?

I'll just leave that thereeeeee.

For your last question, and one that makes me laugh to even look at, I do have a mental list. I'm pretty sure this'll be the first time I've ever written it down though.

Here are my top ten cringe moments from the original series as a whole, from cringiest to least:

The entirety of every sex scene I ever wrote

Ever writing the phrase "And they hadn't even done anything yet!" during a sex scene -- this is so ingrained in my cringe that I can, even now, tell you exactly where it is in the fic, the context, and wrote it without even needing to reference the phrasing

Implying Iggins would SA Gaz while she was under his thrall, and incapable of consenting (for concerned readers, non-con is not going to pop up in my stories again, and I apologize in hindsight for any discomfort caused)

Zim and Gaz's sexually transactional relationship, especially while Gaz was 14

Gaz getting married when she was only 18 (Gaz is already going to be 18 in the sequel, and will probably be in here early-to-mid twenties in the finale)

Dib being used as a punching bag for Zim and Gaz to be cruel to for cheap gags

Making the Tallests simps for Zim for really no reason other than that I was a simp for Zim and wanted to give him nice things lmao

Tak just sort of popping up out of nowhere as a maid, and blatantly borrowing the themes of servants being 'furniture' from the anime When Seagulls Cry/Umineko

That fucking weird ass segment where I had Gaz have prophetic nightmares (?) in the third one, and wander around a castle like some sort of haunted Victorian child. Really the whole castle scenes themselves were cringe. Get rid of the castle. Wipe it from your minds.

Making Gaz and Zim essentially infallible, unbeatable, and just boring in how completely dominant they inevitably were to any problem that arose. It just sucked the tension out of every situation because I got too bored or impatient with scenes that otherwise could've been much more interesting than they were.

This ended up a lot longer than I anticipated, but I hope I answered everything sufficiently!

But I got reborn on a Sunday! 💋

Basically; I won't let this bitch ruin what I have worked so long to create. Yes I had a meltdown but that doesn't mean she is worth it to be ruined. Yes. I dedicated it to her. As I gave her a universe.

A universe with so much backstory and so much emotion, so much fantasy...so much of everything.

I wasted money. I wasted time. I made her a Norwegian dictionary written by hand. I showed my country. Where I grew up. I shared her secrets. I have wasted my creativity. My devotion. Wasted so many whole 24 hours and nights just to write for HER. And this bitch even gave the main character of my story, a perfect name. It fit with the story. Of what this character would become. Of what the purpose of the charcter was going to be. I even found the perfect backstory to why she got the name. It fit with where the main character was from. From Argentina. It was perfect. But she now needs a new name. As that french bitch screwed me over. I now have to rename the main character of Liebeslied. It will be similar to the old. Because I am lazy. And she is mentioned in several hundred pages already. Don't care to edit away all the first name and replaxe it with a brand name. You can't complain on me for that!

But it's scary isn't it? How you can dedicate your entire self to someone. And then with a single "yeah sorry..." they can brush you off. As if you never happened. Like 3 weeks ago I was happy. I was actually editing the chapters I already had, instead of making new ones. I was going to give my universe. My work for 4 whole years. 24/7 for 4 whole years. If I didn't wrote. Then I thought about it. If I didn't thought about it. I acted it out (but alone because I am not the kind to be talking to myself in front of others). My whole life for 4 years (almost 5) and this bitch would get it all for x-mas. For FREE. But no. That's not what happened.

I had to ask her. It had to be done;

hey? Are we still friends?

And she had to shoot me down.

"Yeah Sorry...should have told you long time ago.."

"Yeah sorry..." as in "yeah btw..." our friendship to her was just that..."yeah sorry." " Yeah btw..."

Because she "grew up". She got a bf. A career. "I'm not the same".

No. She weren't. But that doesn't change the fact that

I wasted 4 years for something that died about 2 years prior to this. And she knew it was dying. And I was naive.

I dedicated A UNIVERSE for her. I don't think she will ever realize this!!

A whole UNIVERSE. It had people in it. People that to her was pure fiction but I myself saw them as my children.

And she doesn't want me to give it to her. She never replied to my "could I still post you Liebeslied once its all done. As a form of closure. You don't have to contact me beyond that. Just for closure. Beyond that I wish the best for you aswell".

She never bothered to reply.

Well you know what?

I have had 3 weeks. To think this over. My conclution?

She doesn't deserve what I gave her. She never did. I was just a way to "pass time". So she could get a bf and a career.

The time. The effort. The money. My creativity. My writing. My enthusiasm. My PASSION! My dedication and lastly even my tears and sanity. She didn't deserve ANY of this. She made her choice! She gave me up. Just like that. I wasn't even worthy of a

"hah no thanks I don't want Liebeslied anymore."

She gave this up. But I won't. I won't give up.

She will never know how Liebeslied ends. And that'd ok. She doesn't deserve to know how it ends! It's not for her anymore!

And so I wipe away my tears before they fall. Always before they fall. Because that french bitch doesn't deserve them.

Her friendship to me was simply to her a way to "pass time" until she got a bf and a career.

I am worth more than that!

And so is the Universe that I have created. That I have breathed, every day for so long! Which is why the first fic of the Liebeslied series will be published in 2023 as then everything about this bitch will be in the past.

Tania as the main character is dead.

And Thalia has risen from her ashes.

And with that minor change. Liebeslied will live without that bitch. That french whore that left me for a man and a career. Nope! Screw that!

I will have the first story done in 2023. That is a promise! And it will be good. It is (if I'm gonna say so myself and I will!) way too good to be given up because of something as lousy as her! And I know. Deep inside my still somehow shattered heart. I do know. That some of you yes you; you lovely, amazing, kind, wonderful, beautiful beings...SOME will love it. Some of you will love that universe that I have spent so long making! I am sure.

And unlike that bitch, you all actually deserve this universe!

I have risen. For you! Because of you! My wonderful followers and mutuals, I have kept the little drop of my sanity left. It is the thought of you all that have kept me going for these 3 weeks and more!

I know now that I am better than that bitch. Why? Because I know the meaning of friendships. And that lying bitch obviously doesn't!

So hail to me. For I have risen!

Hail to Liebeslied. For this universe and it's children will go on!

And I promise I will impress and scare some of you. I will make some of you angry. I will make some of you you smile. And some of you will cry and wish that my children would exist and I will have to remind you that they DO! THEY WILL BE BACK! You just as much I breathes life into them! All my followers and mutuals and especially those of you that have wanted and longed for this Universe ...for MY universe to carry on, I am doing this for YOU! And it WILL carry on! Next year. It will all break loose! And I hope you are ready!

Because guess what mothafxahs?

Sausage and Santa Perla oml <3

I can't list one without the other ofc. Sausage's lore captivated me in Empires s1, and hasn't let go yet. The lore he's running in Empires s2 is just incredible. It's made me cry far too many times, and I'm just so invested in whatever the hell he's got going on. Also I love a good excuse for religious world-building, and having Santa Perla to work with has been so fun. <3 I'm really looking forward to what Pearl decides to do with her side of the lore now that she remembers as well.

2. Something that makes you laugh

It's Mark Watson, Alex Horne, and Tim Key! This is collectively representing them as a group of friends and just doing stupid shit together, but also No More Jockeys, Mark's long shows, Key's works, and the non-Taskmaster stuff Alex does, though there's not much outside of the Horne Section these days lol, he's a busy boy.

For digital things, may I offer the following: - Longform: Big Fat Quiz 2015. It starts off fairly sensible then gets derailed by bad dong, and only gets more off-track from there. A classic. - Shortform: Carrot In A Box. Need I say more. rip Sean Lock, you bastard genius. </3 - TV series: 15 Storeys High, Sean Lock's sitcom from way back when. It was rec'd to me by a friend, and I don't regret finding a copy to download bc it's so good. <3 - TV series: This Is Jinsy, weird, full of songs, nonsense and whimsy, def worth tracking down a copy of this show. It's so good. Makes me laugh so much. <3 Greg Davies in drag is also a lovely touch lol.

These are the Taskmaster books that still exist. I tore up an awful lot of them to make 1000 paper cranes a few years ago. XD Also have some Key and Horne and Watson. <3 The three books on the far left are my current reading material.

5. Something you find comforting

Cub omg. <3 I just find his voice so soothing and comforting, and bingeing through his episodes or watching his streams is very comforting for me. I'm really enjoying all the daily speedrunning streams atm bc they're on when I'm awake during the mornings for me, so I can have breakfast and chill with Cub and it's so so nice. <3

6. A TV show or movie you hope more people will watch

Double The Fist is an old Aussie TV comedy that I maintain is actually a metanarrative about the intersections of queerness, homophobia, and toxic masculinity (ESPECIALLY in the second series) that I am woefully inadequately skilled enough to actually write on, but trust me bro, everyone in the main cast is some flavour of queer and I'm here for it. It's very good.

bonus shout out for Set The Thames On Fire, bc it's such a good movie and more of you need to see it frfr. <3 There were some really, really interesting headcanons going around linking Noel's character in this movie back to his character in The Mighty Boosh as a bonus if you like that kind of thing.

8. A thing from an old fandom

The Prisoner! Dhani Harrison got me onto this bc he named his band thenewno2, I adored their music, and when I looked them up, discovered what it was named after, and then I dived right in and fell in love with it. I can't remember which specific episode order I prefer out of the five or so that exist, but yeah!

I've written crossovers with The Prisoner for my last 2/3 fandoms, so maybe I'll get there for Hermitcraft one day. :D?

As someone who has watched too much tv for a long time i thought i should share with the group.

TV recs for the upcoming drought:

Some of these are harder to find, the tone and quality vary wildly, they're in no specific order. I tried for not too obscure, but not too obvious. Some are still airing, some are 20 yrs old. I swear I have a life.

Slings and Arrows. Early 2000s Canadian dramedy about theatre and shakespear. Fun without being shallow, aged ok, lovely performances, great writing. nuclear grade comfort watching.

Halt and Catch Fire. 2014 - 2017, US drama. Follows four characters through the 80s tech industry. First time I got the hype around Lee Pace. S1 is ok, but nothing special, s2 is a lot more interesting but kinda goes round in a circle. S3 and 4 and some of the best tv I've ever seen.

Somebody Somewhere. This is actually a new show, but has 2 seasons out if u want a gentle but never shallow comedy. Fills my sad gay heart with joy. And if want more new tv with middle aged gays Deadloch is streaming on amazon atm.

The Expanse. Finished recently. The sci fi I've always wanted. Big and scary and wonderful and pew pew pew space battles and adventure. Balances the grim with a surprising amount of hope? Has repeated themes of redemption. Also a whole book series should u need more.

This Is England. UK drama. A film and 3 mini series set from 1983 through to 1990. Grim, sad af, also funnyand sweet? And characters that I love. The start of my undying love for Vicky McClure. Big ol CW for violence, sexual violence, and era specific racism (esp the first film). Very good, but very hard tv.

Kingdom. 2014. Can be a pain to find because so many shows are called Kingdom. About MMA fighters having drama. Also families, mental health, addiction, etc. Excellent performances. Both a very dumb and very sweet, painful show.

Animal Kingdom. Legit only watched it because I was searched Kingdom posts and AK was out around the same time. Awful family having drama and heists. Adaptation of an Aussie film into a southern California TV show. Kind of a mess? but very compelling mess.

Obligatory Succession (Kardashians for annoying people, aka me. I am the annoying person. this is my perfect tv show), The Bear, (hospo stress and family grief show) and Severance (people talk about workplace horror, but tbh it also gives big mega church horror vibes too)- new shows that live up to the hype, esp if you like sad people. I don't think they really need recs, but i really liked them.

The Thick of It. 2000s UK political comedy? Tragedy? Though these days it looking fuckin utopian compared to UK politics now. Feels a bit like a partial villain origin story for Succession. I like how sad and broken hearted it is.

Outrageous Fortune. 2000s nz dramedy that is the source of my love of family crime drama. Aged badly in places, but still very good character drama. Also, for The Boys fans, Antony Starr at his absolute best. It's a big nostalgia fest for me now. Cheryl West is a forever fav.

Justified. 2010 - 2016ish. i'm lazy i'm not looking stuff up. Yes a cop show, yes a dad show, but also rock solid tv writing and timothy olyphant in a hat. I've watched it so many times, and every time it rewards. and yes, am watching Justified City Primeval atm.

White Collar. A dumb, total fantasy art crimes and capers show. Shit, but if you need to not think and also have Matt Bomer do a shirtless painting montage for vague plot reasons then oh boy there is no other.

Being Human UK. A ghost, a vampire and a werewolf share a flat. it's sweet and agonising and 10+ years later I still love these characters so much.

Legion. 2017 - 2019. Why make tv comic adaptations that are trying for realistic and boring? When they could all be like this? Why make anything that isn't as visually interesting as this?

Doom Patrol - same for doom patrol - superhero tv that cut out the boring bits and just went for the weird and painful. I read a couple of random doom patrols years ago and was so surprised and delighted and loved them. the tv show has the same effect.

The Boys. new, and still going, as far as I know. but two kiwi leads means under nz law i have to be a fan? also it's awful, pulpy vicious popcorn viewing. appeals to the shithead 12 yr old in me. yes, it's vicious anti corporate thing is deeply ironic for an amazon show, but considering amazon saved the expanse with no sense of irony at all I figure take all their money and keep yelling.

Preacher. Another comics adaption. The Boy's weirder, less obscene, more disturbing cousin. Tulip is another forever fav tv character.

Banshee. Continuing the tradition of heth and i starting dumb Dude TV and then getting overly attached. kinda pulpy trash, but if you can stomach the violence it's surprisingly good.

All Star Treks. I love them so much. They're so weird, and uneven, and dumb, and they're all the best and I love them.

One season wonders -

Trust. about the John Paul Getty III kidnapping. also about italian countryside.

State of Play. UK. the tv show, not the film.

I dunno. I could do a whole separate post for sit coms and brit coms and the weirder, more obscure shows and movies, but ffs this is so long.

Hii, i'm rewatching s14 Japril scenes and omg is so confusing (i know that bad writing and bts drama had influence but i'm trying to make sense of that season lol)

So first we have the we don't talk about montana shit and the cursed 14x02 scene, i guess they were trying to portray that J dosen't care about A feelings and that he move on and is in love with his sister, but idk, why is he mute, like was he no allowed to talk lol? He could have say that it was a mistake or something like that, idk is a weird scene, i can't understand his face.

Then when April starts losing her mind, Jackson is the first one who noticed and tries to talk to her multiple times (not her best friend Arizona or idk Owen he always cares about her) and keeps looking at her and reaching to her (when she has the banana bag, when he say he's worried for her, talking to arizona, the supply closet scene, the play games scene, when he tells maggie that he's gonna try talk to her again and watches her walk away, the hug scene (when he is mute again🙄) and she tells him that she's okay to take harriet and he ask if SHE is ok like worrying about her in particular) Why made him been the one noticed about her crisis, asking, looking at her, reaching multiple times.. and episodes before he supposedly didn't care about her(14x02), like i don't get it.

And then episodes later boom, Jackson looses completely his shit about April almost death in a way that still surprised me that Krista and all the bitches allow him to have, his reaction at matthew in the hospital scene, his first face when he saw him proposing to april and when he avoids the stare after they kiss. (And yess he smiles but he smiled in season 9 in the first proposal and we now how that went and maybe is wishfull thinking but he looks even sadder, the smile seem very sad and like it took effort)

And why put april saying you're my.. Like why leave that open there and they look at each other lips and the way that he touches her arm like omg, everything is so damn confusing

Oh and the next season you have him talking about April with Maggie

- I prayed and April woke up

- Who else are you talking too? April sometimes..

- I didn't picture my marriage ending

- I'm greaving, GREAVING (Jackson, baby you already divorce years ago lol)

- Now is too late, SHE'S happy with someone else (he dosen't even want to name Matthew lol)

Honestly, what was Krista thinking? Idk what she tried to achieved in those scenes but damn, it fail hard lol

Anyways, thoughts? Sorry for the rant, i looked at a couple of your posts and wanted to share..

First of all, Hi! Second, You never have to apologize for ranting about japril on my blog cause this whole blog is pretty much filled with a series of japril rants lol.

I have always thought that Krista was trying to accomplish a few things through her awful creative decision making.

1) She wanted to portray japril as strictly platonic friends, and beat us in the head with that fact until we lost our minds.

2) She wanted to take some important details about japril’s relationship, and use that to push Jackson towards Maggie (eg: they wrote the story about Maggie’s mom’s death, and tried to replicate the hurt/comfort trope that japril always showcased, and the fire in 13x24 was similar to the bus explosion in 9x24). And that is also just lazy writing on their part cause they couldn't even come up with an original way to start Jackson's new "relationship".

3) Imo, most of 14x24 and some of the callbacks to japril after season 14 were simply a slap in the face to japril fans. And I bet they also wanted the engagement from japril fans on twitter cause our fandom is a force to be reckoned with on social media, so when Jackson mentioned April, the fans started talking about them, and Grey’s Anatomy also got talked about in the process. They were using us even after letting Sarah go. The sheer audacity of Krista, I tell you!

With that being said, I also believe that some of the writers on the show (the ones with a spine and half a brain cell that is), wrote some of the scenes where they showed Jackson struggling without April cause it was how the story should have been written. Plus Jesse is great, and he fully understands his character so he might have had something to do with the japril mentions too.

Now onto some specific scenes you mentioned,

First, there's the infamous 13x16 ep. I just re-watched Sarah and Jesse's Q&A for that ep to answer your ask, and connected some dots. So according to Sarah, 13x16 was filmed right after they filmed 13x09 (which is when April tried to start dating again and Jackson looked miserable at the prospect of it). And the eps in between were written and filmed afterwards. Sarah also said that she and Jesse collaborated with Elisabeth Finch (the writer of 13x16) and made some changes to the script, so I think their collaboration, Elisabeth's writing, and Kevin Mckidd's direction made that episode amazing. And I also think that the writers had planned to get japril back together around the time 13x16 was being filmed, and Krista interviewed after they shot the ep. When she took over the show, she made it clear that she disliked japril, then she waited a few months before starting to assert her dominance and making stupid decisions. The eps between 13x09 and 13x16 were written after they shot 13x16, and those eps were used to sideline April and pull japril apart, but then they had to still air 13x16 (which was already shot). Then in the next ep, we saw Jackson treating Maggie’s mom, and we all know what that lead to. So it was all a planned ambush. If Krista had her way, we would probably not have gotten japril the sequel at all.

When it comes to their scene in 14x02, something tells me that they had Jackson not say anything because if he actually talked in that scene, Sarah and Jesse’s chemistry would not have made the scene believable. That scene was intended indicate the end of japril’s relationship. Sarah has mentioned how she had to ask the director to change April's demeanor in that scene, and I think they initially wanted April to be angry with Jackson instead of hurt by him so that she would’ve looked resentful. I'm glad Sarah asked for the change to be made. Bless Sasse for still making that scene believable though cause it's painful to watch.

As for the scenes where Jackson noticed April was struggling with her faith in season 14, and tried to help her. I think the writers tried to show their friendship in those scenes cause Jackson was still the person that knew April the best. But from what I've seen of those eps, it didn't feel like japril's friendship was super intact through that time. And the kiss scene in 14x16 felt like a punch in the gut for me. If they wanted to show japril's friendship, they could have showed him helping her as a friend, but no, they had to add that scene and break our hearts. At the end of the day, he didn't really get to be there for her, and it only made April sadder. So it's clear that the scene was unnecessary and a slap in our faces.

Then the scenes in 14x23.. The ep was written by William Harper (aka the person who wrote the iconic 10x12 ep), so we can guess why those scenes were so good. But for me, unless you play close attention to Jesse's expressions, you can't tell that japril were too far from being platonic friends in that episode. Imagine how Jackson would have reacted to April nearly dying in the end of season 8 or through seasons 9,10,11, or 12, and compare that to how he was in 14x23. Yes, he was devastated, and Jesse's performance was amazing. But for me, it seemed like both he and Sarah were trying to not portray japril as a romantic couple in that ep. But their chemistry in those scenes was so undeniable that it still made me die inside. Regardless of that, I don't think the director of that ep intended for those scenes to be viewed that way.

And then you have the scene where Jackson talked about struggling with his grief/regretting their divorce. When they wrote storylines for Jackson’s character after April was no longer in his life to the degree that she was before, they couldn’t simply erase years' worth of history that belonged to his character. So whether Krista liked it or not, Jackson’s inner turmoils and the circumstances he was in had a lot to do with losing Samuel, and going through his divorce. So the writers might have been forced to call back to some of those past moments for the purpose of creating drama in the show.

In other words, screw Krista! 😭

3. Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year? Taemin. I have listened to the same few artists for years, so imagine my surprise when he got me invested.

12. Talk about a new friend you made this year. Mmm, it’s not actually a friend I’ve made this year, but we got real close a few months ago. I thought she was that kind of confident, bubbly person who’s always talking and making noise, but she’s actually insecure, very attentive. You could talk about anything without feeling judged. She’s really sweet and kind. (She’s also the biggest simp, I would have never imagined that).
