[The Possibility of a Jamil and Rook Friendship]

Like, you’re telling me we have a beyond stressed out servant with a love for dance and wishes for time to relax. Along with this eccentric guy who also has history with dancing and brings 100% when it comes to anything he sets his mind to, DON’T GO OUT TOGETHER ON SECRET DANCE NIGHTS AT A CLUB IN ORDER TO LET OFF STEAM AND JUST HAVE FUN!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

Like, think about it. Jamil is very competitive and likes to be acknowledged for his talents. And Rook is basically up for anything that could be interesting or satiate his ever growing curiosity about his peers. Imagine the dance battles with these two…each giving it their all showing what they have in store.

IT WOULD BE SO COMPETITIVE YET SO FUN FOR JAMIL BECAUSE HE’S ACTUALLY LETING LOSE AND ROOK WOULD NOT GO EASY ON HIM. AND THAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE EXCITING LIKE…THE VISION YALL! THE VISION!

Afterwards once they go back to their respective dorms, bumping into each other in the morning with last night’s events still fresh on their minds. They meet each other’s gazes and just give each other an acknowledging nod. As simple way of acknowledging that they both had a fun time. No words exchanged, only respective understanding.

Like am I asking too much? Is it so wrong that I want Rook to have a dancing buddy? HE NEEDS OTHER FRIENDS THAN THE TEETH ENJOYER OK!?

Just so you know I didn't lost the last few asks, I'm still blushing over them. And I am deeply scatterbrained recently, admittedly. But for now, some answers for you ✨

Classic I know, but I love just being on my knees in front of someone. It really drives in the point, being below, knowing the longer I am down there the more my knees will hurt later, that I might have a hard time getting up, but still wanting desperately to be down there and make my partner for the evening happy and I enjoy that a whole damn lot, as you well know, darling. To me, Machete kind of has the energy of a secondary villain/coldhearted side character in someone else's story that a lot of fans latch onto, moreso than the protagonist. Question is, would he be the villain in anyone's story?

Why, thank you! I'm actually glad to hear he gives off that vibe. I don't think he set out to become a villain but a lot of people certainly view him as one.

#in the 16th century canon he starts out as an introverted but sincerely well meaning guy that never quite manages to find his social niche #he was a sensitive kid and when subjected to enough pressure #his insecurity fearfulness and powerlessness mutate into distrust resentment aggression suffocating repression and self-restraint #I don't think he's a bad person in fact he consistently tries very hard to do the right thing #do his job properly avoid letting people down and get through life with a sense of dignity #but he is supposed to come across kind of cold impersonable and difficult to be around if you don't know him personally (and very few do) #people can sense there's something wrong with him and are put off by it #Vatican is a nest of vipers and as the stakes rise he retreats deeper into his coldblooded untouchable work persona #he has no choice but to start lying scheming blackmailing and eliminating his enemies #in order to maintain his position keep Vasco safe their relationship under wraps and his own head above water #essentially playing by the same rules everyone else in the holy see has been playing with for centuries #eventually he loses his spot as the secretary of state and is manipulated/forced to take on a role in the roman inquisition #and if people were sort of iffy about him before being the authority overseeing trials torture excommunications and executions doesn't help #and since he has so few allies and such an infamous reputation he's an easy target for scapegoating whenever necessary #towards the end it dawns on him that he's become the kind of twisted cruel corrupt person he used to fear and despise #and the guilt moral injury and abject self-loathing had largely sapped him of his will to live by the time the final assassin gets him #answered #anonymous #Machete #Vaschete lore #he thought his dream of priesthood would make him a better person more worthy of admiration safety and love but he climbed too high #and got roped up in the dangerous games that take place under god's nose and slowly got strangled to death

Alright...sooo call me crazy but is it just me or Tigress has some connection with flowers a lot? And I mean A LOT!!

First let's start with Tigress's clothing. All her vests & hanfu with floral pattern which throughout the franchise represents her growth

But even before the the whole vine pattern we get to see the same pattern on Tigress's bed when she was still in Bao Gu Orphanage in Secrets of the Furious Five

Next in Secrets of the Scroll when Oogway is talking to Tigress at the Peach tree we see Oogway takes a look at a blossom & tells Tigress "The Question is; Can you be Tigress?" & the same flower flies near her

Next; Every time Tigress get's sick there's always a FLOWER involved to cure her. Now I know LoA isn't considered canon but there's one chapter in one of the KFP comics where the story is sorta similar to LoA's Scorpion Sting's episode where Tigress gets river fever. BOTH in the episode & in the comic there's a flower that's her medicine. Also coincidence in both cases Po (WHO'S BIRTH NAME IS ALSO LOTUS) is the one get's the flowers for her

Next in KFP3 while Po is trying to bloom a flower by using the chi technique the camera immediately zooms to injured Tigress with the flower also being in the shot & later Tigress wearing a flower garland & wearing a little flower on her ear just like Lei Lei.

And finally this is by far the most interesting one which got me screaming!

Viper, Po & Lei Lei ALL 3 who are close to Tigress also represents flowers in someway. Mostly in protective or comfort ways.

Viper as flower is her two little flower clips on her head.

Po who's birth name is LITTLE LOTUS!!

And FINALLY Lei Lei. Apparently Lei in Chinese means a bud of a flower!

In general, no matter who you get with, all the other villains will accept your decision. They’ll stay friends with you, and will probably pop by once in a while to annoy your new lover.

For Riddle, if you accept his proposal at long last, he wouldn’t be able to process it at first. When he finally realizes this is real, that you want him as much as he wants you, then he immediately starts preparing for you to move in to his mansion, and orders a seven day feast to be cooked up, and sends invitations out, RSVP now-- it’s up to you if you want to stop him, take an active role in whatever party Riddle’s planning, or just to roll with the chaos. Either way, Riddle is so ridiculously happy in your presence, and so willing to do anything for you, that his visitors will always make a quick stop to flatter you and offer you gifts to get in good with Riddle.

Leona may have found something he wants desperately, but he didn’t think you would actually want him back. Even though his tail is swaying, he still warns you that he can’t give you a cushy life yet. Malleus is ready to force the entire world to bow to you, offer you ancient treasures passed down in his family and make your birthday a national holiday-- oh. You just want to stay in and cuddle? To say that you weren’t a bit surprised that Jamil had agreed to join you to the local summer carnival would be a lie. But much to your surprise, and his own, he had agreed to your invitation… well also was basically forced to take a day off work and he had “nothing better to do”, his words, not yours.

Yes, he was clutching onto the railing of every single ride, he protested a little but still went on them. And you could have sworn that besides the hissed curse words and snippets of praying, you could hear the tiniest bit of laughter over the sound of children and adults screaming. He didn’t leave the park even after he was chased around by a hornet that wanted some of his food. Jamil had even won you the 'so ugly it's cute' snake plush from that basketball game. He even reluctantly shared some of that overpriced snow cone with the strawberry syrup; it was a tad too sweet for him, you seemed to enjoy it so he decided to give it a shot.

“I’m surprised that you came,” you hummed, shovelling a spoon of the sweet treat into your mouth. 

Jamil took his spoon and got a small scoop of the shaved ice. “Why wouldn’t I? You invited me.” I like spending time with you. “Today was… enjoyable I guess.”

You rolled your eyes at him, “Aw, come on, Jamil, admit that you had a little bit of fun, it won’t hurt ya.” Even when you were waiting in line for over an hour, he stuck with you. “You deserve to have some fun, to let loose. You work yourself too hard.”

Jamil raised a brow and looked at you. The setting sun cast warm light on your face, and he quickly looked away. “Fine, I had fun today,” he relented. “And thank you for thinking of me. Despite the screaming children, it was fun. And I suppose I will try to let loose.”

“Don’t forget about the hornet that chased you arou-” You stopped talking and stifled a coughed-out laugh at the face he was giving you for bringing up that incident again. He had to rip your phone out of your hands to delete the video you took, he didn’t need Kalim to see that or everyone else working at the Al-Asim estate for that matter. “I mean, I’m glad that you had fun. I like spending time with you.”

Jamil looked back to your face, and he saw the orange sun reflected in your eyes. “I like spending time with you too,” he offered you a small smile.

The way the setting sun backlit Jamil made him look ethereal, glowing even, and you paused and just looked at him in silence for a few moments before snapping out of it. “If you want we can come back another time, maybe I’ll even be able to beat you at that basketball game!”

He let out a single chuckle, he was being a lot more relaxed with you and he couldn’t place when he had started doing so. He felt like he could be himself, and not the Jamil that everyone expected him to be. “I doubt it, you missed every single shot, no wonder you didn’t join the Basketball Club. If you want to come back, there’s a festival happening in August at the estate for the meteor shower if you wanted to go again-”

“Are you asking me on a date?” You asked, looking at him with wonder and teasing.

Jamil hummed, “If I were to do so, would you accept?”

“Yeah, if you were asking, I would always say yes,” you said.

He gave you a smile, a genuine smile, a window into the true Jamil. “Well then, would you like to go on a date… with me?”

You reached your hand across the table, palm facing up, “I’d love to.”

Jamil looked down at your hand and then back up to your face, placing his hand in yours. “Then it’s a date.”
