okay this is driving me completely fucking insane, has anyone else noticed those little character taunts in the twst exam battles??

not the pre and post battle voice lines. the chibis actually do little taunts on occasion. I've only seen it happen right before they're about to get annihilated with a duo attack, but not every time, and I can't find a pattern beyond that, and it's driving me insane. has anyone else noticed it and can you find any recordings of them?

I feel like it adds another little facet to their characters. like, Trey does this smug little "come at me" gesture that goes so against his persona but says so much about what he's like under the mask and I NEED to see everyone else's taunts now too

or, at the very least, hear that I'm not the only one who's noticed these. help me out here

A Headmaster put to the test!

As someone who rather enjoys the challenges of team-building--a player who aims to score high in her test battles each and every day--I simply could not resist experimenting with the Headmaster in today's daily bouts.

My Crowley SSR's stats of this battle were as follows:

All are at or slightly above Level 80, with the exception of Cerberus Gear Ortho, who is completely maxed at Level 110.

Luck was on my side in battle three (as they say, "third time's a charm"); despite my lower total HP from previous bouts, I was able to score higher thanks in large part to our magnanimous gakuenchou's double HP regen applications activating on Turn 1, unhindered by Freeze or Curse debuffs at the opponents' disposal.

I cannot stress how elated I was with the results! Not only is Dire Crowley able to pull his own weight (and then some) in the new event, but he managed to go a step further and prove his integrity and utility in general combat as well.

In closing, I sincerely hope the rest of the staff SSRs receive the same careful treatment paid to the Headmaster's card. (Even if they don't, I'll make certain that they see use--that's a promise!)

Can anyone please give me tips and tricks for battles in twst?? I am a new player, but ive been grinding lessons to level myself while at work (they really give you so many gems when you start?? And i just burned them all on LP). Maybe i shouldve used my gems to pull different cards?? I have three SSRs and theyre all fire and plant elementals.

Like ok, i get the elemental system (cosmic kinda throws me off but… the others i get). Maybe i havent played long enough to get enough spell upgrades from alchemy?

Basically, ive been throwing myself against Jamil for days now and i cant beat his OB battle?!

Fuck the timeline, everyone please consider an au where the Knight of Dawn narrowly escapes from a fight that almost kills him and as he's limping through a forest to find somewhere to hide and recover, the woodland creatures find him and lead him somewhere. He follows, assuming they're leading him somewhere safe, but before he can reach it he collapses from his injuries. As his consciousness begins to fade, he sees Princess Meleanor looking down at him and he isn't surprised that she'd been waiting for his end, waiting for him to join her in the Underworld where he'd sent her.

Later in the evening, Lilia Vanrouge is startled by the door to his quiet little cottage bursting open. His prince and pupils have returned... and they have dragged the injured Knight of Dawn back with them. Silver runs up to Lilia and begs "Papa" to help the poor injured man they'd found in the woods, completely oblivious to how Lilia's blood chills and his mouth goes dry because his son this human child had so cluelessly brought an old enemy into their home who also happens to be his father.

I like Harveston

this truly is the hardest question. :( but after much consideration, I think Endless Halloween Night wins out for me, because it's nonstop Characters Being Silly the whole way through. the whole thing is just lots of these little dorks having the most ridiculous interactions, which is always my favorite! and of course the big twist is SO delightfully stupid and doubles down SO hard that it becomes AMAZING and I 100% unironically adore it. AND it's Halloween! everyone is in their cute little costumes and having a spooky adventure! it's great!

however, I am ALSO a big fan of the Harveston event! how can I not be! everyone is wearing comfy winter outfits and getting along really weirdly well with Epel's grandma and he's getting a little worried about that! my terrible loud son sews a plush squirrel and then gives it a silly little nickname and refuses to leave it behind when it breaks! the ending shot with the sled! I LOVE IT.
