ok i was wracking my brain for request ideas since you had them open: could you please do overblot gang reacting to their male s/o getting injured in front of them ? they weren't fast enough to stop it so now they have to deal with the consequences (idk if you play jp or en so idm if you stop at azul or include jamil n vil, it's up to you) thank you so much for having reqs open :D

I did play on JP, however, I currently play on EN.

I was unsure of how to make the injury happen, so I hope it's okay that I add an extra angsty twist. Fufufufu

I was genuinely struggling to figure out something for Azul so I don't wanna do Jamil because I wanna do them in order. If you want me to I'll do them in a separate ask though

Riddle Rosehearts

Crimson covered the roses of the bushes in the courtyard

However, it wasn't the normal vibrant, ruby coloured paint that adorned the petals

It was the scarlet that splattered from his injuries that dripped from the blossoms

His chest heaved as he lay on the ground, blood spilling from his injuries

The green of the grass too was tainted by the bloodshed, the puddle around him slowly growing in size

The onlookers stared on in horror, as the prefect of Ramshackle lay bleeding in the middle of the rose maze

The rose bushes Riddle had uprooted lay around his wounded lover

He'd intended to crush Ace with them only for his significant other to intercept

The jagged branches and splintered wood had pierced his skin, branches impaling his limbs in several places

Small fragments of wood stuck out of his flesh

The stones that had gotten thrown into the mix marred him as well

Trey and Cater immediately panicked as the prefect wheezed painfully from the ground

Ace, Deuce, and Grim moved to form a defensive barrier between Riddle and the injured party on the ground

Meanwhile, Trey called his name

A feeble attempt to get him to focus on something, anything so that he didn't lose consciousness

And Cater had run off to seek aid from Crowley who was evacuating the other students

Riddle had failed to stop the blow before it landed

He glared angrily at the 3 students that blocked his view from his lover

He hadn't meant for his partner to take the blow in Ace's stead

Guilt swirled around in his chest with his rage

The searing pain of his fury burned like fire

He advanced on them, wanting to see that state of his other half, who looked on at the scene in disoriented, half-conscious worry

"Step aside."

His voice was cold and venomous and the battered bushes once more rose from the ground

However, the trio stood strong in their defensive line, ready to fight if they needed as the vice dorm leader did what he could to staunch the Prefect's bleeding

Riddle narrowed his eyes, their poor attempt at fending him off only serving to infuriate him all over again

He briefly met his lovers eyes as he forced himself to sit up, gaze filled with desperation

His expression cried don't do this but it was too late now

The boys raised their pens and the fighting commenced

Leona Kingscholar

Burning, blistering pain

The magicless prefect yelled out, the excruciating searing of his skin cracking almost sent him to his knees

His mouth was too dry to swallow

His eyes were too dry to shed tears

He found it difficult to speak

Leona's grip on the prefect was like iron, as taunting remarks left his mouth

He did not look at who he had in his grip

Instead, he stared at the onlookers from the other dorms in a rage

Leona laughed at the pitiful sight

His lover had pulled Ruggie out of the way and taken his place

He was clawing at Leona's hands with a broken, raspy plea

Leona found it distastefully amusing that his lover had chosen a Hyena over him

His face fell

His lover not taking his side only served to prove his point further, but behind the bright green of his irises, in the midst of his bitterness was regret

Jack had used his signature spell and snapped his jaws furiously at Leona

Riddle used the moment of distraction to collar the angry Lion

The prefect fell to the ground, wheezing painfully

The cracks in his skin had climbed to his face, stopping directly under his cheekbone

The tips of his fingers had began to crumble but ceased as soon as Leona had dropped him

As Sebek and Silver were told to assist the injured, they moved to get the Prefect to safety

Meanwhile, Riddle tried to talk him down, but Lilia's taunting only served to make him snap

Riddle's collar broke as Leona finally overblotted and Lilia had vanished to get the staff

Glowing emerald eyes shifted towards the two Diasommnia students that were holding his lover

They took away his chances at winning and now they're trying to take his significant other away too

Unacceptable

He growled loudly, bearing his teeth in a snarl

"Drop 'em before I turn you both to sand."

Jack and Ruggie stood in front of him

And the Heartslabyul students formed a line behind the two Savannaclaw members

Leona scoffed, once more taunting them as he moved to push past them all

He let out an irritated laugh when they did not let him

His eyes locked with his lover's briefly

The look of hurt, exhaustion, and worry made Leona's fingers twitch

And finally his rage skyrocketed when Sebek and Silver pulled the prefect out of view

Looks of anger crossed all the boys' faces as they stared down the lion im front of them

He scoffed at their meager attempt at intimation but squared up nonetheless

If it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get

the original quotes actually change the interpretation a bit (didnt look very good when typed out) but each drawing had an individual take on being human ^^ kdjs was 'deep within there's still a human' and yjhs was 'despite everything im still human'

I love your interpretation! i'll type out mine haha since it's a bit similar!

for kdj the universe behind him is representative of himself as a constellation (inhuman and a bit detached), but the white he stands on is the 'human' part of himself at his core, unchanged in motivation despite being a constellation. to match, the sky behind yjh is representative of himself as a human (also matching kdjs white ground), but the ocean of stars he's standing in is the altered part of him as he goes through countless regressions, that slowly drains his humanity away (think SP energy, and also matching kdjs bg). the star i think could represent the other person in context but could also be OD in general ^_^ yjh searching for kdj and an end to the story, and kdj looking at the most human form of himself (a reader) beyond who he is as a constellation

also its ok to use the art as a phone wallpaper!! ty for asking and liking the pieces so much T_T 💖

Gender Neutral, Cursing, Sam is your partner in Dumbassery

You and Floyd have been friends for a good while now. Ever since you arrived at NRC, you both clicked with each other and became good friends. However, it was time for the next step, a major step in any friendship: to become besties.

Best friend isn't a term to be taken lightly. It was a huge deal. Your bestie is your bestie. To go from friends to best friends means to be able to truly trust one another and be able to shit talk people together. Furthermore, it is the stage where you can dump all of your trauma on the other than sneak out to a McDonald's at 3 am to cope. The title 'best friends' is a heavier title than 'husband' or 'spouse'

You still your beating heart as you peruse around Sam's shop, looking for the perfect ring to present to Floyd. Sam noticed your serious expression.

"My my, little imp, you look so tense! What's the matter?" "Sam, I think I found… the one." At that Sam's expression beamed. "I could tell by your expression alone, so you found the one, huh? I'm sure you want something unique, just like them." You nodded, as Sam started to pull out more rings from behind the counter.

Taffy, honey, licorice, cherry, and all sorts of high-end and beautiful rings were brought to you, yet none seemed to match the one who had your heart. You sighed in defeat and shook your head, ready to give up until you felt a hand on your shoulder. Sam looked into your eyes before holding out a box. "Feast your eyes on this, surely it's exactly what you were lookin' for?" 

You snap open the lid to the small box before you. The ring inside shone so brightly it nearly left you in tears. A deep turquoise blue raspberry body, with green– almost black– accents running through it. The very top of the ring had a deep purple grape swirl in the shape of an eel. This was the one. 

You gave Sam a heartfelt hug and forked over a small fortune (0.99c) for the ring. Sam gave you his best wishes before waving you off. Now all you had to do was pop the question, but where? Where would Floyd want to be when proposed to. Knowing him, he would love it to be a public affair, especially in front of his loved ones. That's when a light bulb went off your head. You knew where to propose. Tomorrow. Tomorrow you were going to make it official.

Today. Today was the day. Today was the day it was going to be official. You held the deep purple velvet box to your chest as you approached the cafeteria. Deuce and Ace shot you a glance at the box.

"Don't you think you're taking this a little too seriously?" Deuce asks, genuinely concerned. Ace nudges him, holding in tears, "Nah, I say they aren't taking it seriously enough! You better give us a fucking speech, Yuu." You look back at your other besties, memories of the time when you proposed to them coming back into your head. "I just hope he says yes."

"Relax, it'll be fine! Me and Deuce will be watching from afar okay?" Cherry and Blueberry. Those were the rings you proposed to those idiots with. You remember it like it was yesterday. The way Ace was moved to tears and Deuce's passionate "what the actual fuck" plays through your head. You know what? They're right! You'll nail this! Floyd will definitely say yes.

You slinked off to where Floyd usually sits, ignoring Ace snickering behind you as he guides Deuce to another table. You saw Floyd chatting with his fellow dorm members. Azul was pinching the bridge of his nose at whatever Floyd was saying, Jade was listening while eating with his chopsticks politely.

When Azul opened his eyes he spotted you. "Ah, hello there Prefect. Is there something you nee–" "Floyd." You interrupted Azul and dropped to one knee dramatically right behind him. The impact of the drop made Jade's food tray rattle and his eyes widen in surprise. Floyd turned around, eyes wide, but amused. "Eeeh? What's this shrimpy~?" He purred in that beautiful voice of his. You swear you heard Ace losing his shit in the background.

"I know we haven't known each other very long, but I have feelings for you. Very strong feelings. You've been an amazing part of my life and I want to make it official." Tears rolled down your eyes as you spoke, and Floyd's eyes went wide as he saw you pull out a box. "Sh… shrimpy…" Jade looked on amused at the proposal as Azul sighed, yet he still watched.

"Will you…" you opened the small box, revealing the ring to him. Floyd let out a gasp and covered his mouth, trying his best to hide a smile. "Will you be my bestie, foreve-" "OH MY GOD YES, YES I WILL!" Floyd immediately tackled you into a hug, lifting you up and squeezing you before spinning around in circles. Ace didn't even bother to hold back his laughter anymore, and even Jade let out a chuckle.

You pulled away slightly, much to Floyd's annoyance, but that annoyance was replaced with delight when he saw you present the ring. Floyd stuck out his hand, allowing you to slip the ring onto his finger. He admired it for a moment, before immediately cronching on it. His eyes were closed and the corners of his lips were in a lazy smile as he chewed, looming like a puppy. Azul had his head in his hands, but who cares what he thinks.

Floyd hoisted you up, bridal style, and held you close to him. "Come on, Shrimpy!" Floyd laughed out. "We're gonna skip class and go celebrate!" And just like that, you and Floyd eloped, running off into the sunset together to celebrate becoming besties. Your relationship flourished as besties and was known worldwide for its seriousness. Even hundreds of years later after you both have passed, historians look on at what is the most beautiful recorded friendship ever. There are plays and songs of you two. Many have goals to be as close to someone like you and Floyd. But even in the future, the tradition of proposing to become besties was a common thing now due to you.

Azul startles when he hears the front door open. Were you home already? Great Seven, dinner isn't ready yet! You absolutely can not see what he's making, though you might be able to smell it already. Hurriedly, Azul lowers the heat on everything and wipes his hands on a nearby dish towel before rushing out to greet you at the door.

Luckily, you were still tiredly kicking off your shoes at the front door. Azul clears his throat, calling your attention to him.

"You didn't tell me you were on your way home yet," he says, miffed at how close you were to discovering his surprise. "If you did, I would've been sure to open the door for you, considering how tired you looked this morning. That was your own fault, just so you know. If you hadn't stayed up so late for that game of yours, I wou--," Azul pauses mid-sentence, staring at your expression. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Azul watches your mouth twitch and your eyes flicker down. He follows your line of sight and-- Oh. His face turns extremely red--later you'll say it reminded you of Riddle--and Azul makes a mortified yelp. He just realized he is still wearing the gag gift the twins had bought for him during your and his anniversary--a frilly, light purple apron that had a heart-shaped top. It was speckled with oil and flour, proof of Azul's cooking. While tacky, it was still practical, though he never wanted you to find out he actually uses it.

"This!" Azul squeaks, trying to keep his composure. "It's because you came home unannounced! I was just frying up chicken, and-- Stop laughing, would you?!" He brings his hands up to his face, knocking his glasses up into his hair as he attempts to cover his. Azul whines as he hears your approaching footsteps. He feels you grab his glasses with one hand and your attempt to pry his hands away from his face.

"Azul, baby, look at me?" you ask, and you even call him baby. Sevens, Azul should've never told you how weak that pet-name makes him. Pinching his lips together to keep himself from pouting, Azul tries to glare at you. Tries being the keyword here, because you two have done this song and dance before, and your smile is just too nice for Azul to get mad at.

"What?" he asks, trying to keep his voice sharp and level. An intimidation tactic from the younger years, though it's been far too long for you to be intimidated by Azul. You've seen him at his worst and softest moments, after all. You laugh and bump your forehead against his after you successfully manage to grab hold of his hands.

"I haven't gotten my 'welcome home' kiss yet," you tease. Azul feels his cheeks warm, and he's not sure if it's from how close you two are standing, with your breath hitting them; the absurd amount of love he's feeling for you; or both. Probably both. You and Floyd have called him a sap before.

"Well then," Azul says breathily, his tone similar to one he's had many years prior, back when a restaurant was in his name and so many people were under his contracts. "We'll have to rectify that before I break our contract."

"What contract are you talking about?" you ask.

"Our wedding vows," he says, and Azul finally lets go of his pride and embarrassment to kiss you.
