It's a very long post so I'll put the full explanation under this cut. I've tried to provide the clips where possible and actually had a really great time going back through my blog to find all these fandom memes haha! Lmk if there's anything else you want explaining + welcome to the fandom!!! :))

Merry Fodliman's green fruit pastilles - groan ups cast performed at the royal variety performance in 2019 George Haynes did an Instagram takeover in which he and Nancy zamit gave fun celebrity stories but changed the celebrities names so you wouldn't know who they were talking about (but it was pretty obvious who they were talking about. Merry Fodliman for example was Kerry godliman a comedian)

Esidisi is much calmer when it comes to throwing snowballs at each other but he can't do it often since he usually melts the snow if he's holding it for too long.

Even if it's an accident it's still funny to see him get ready to throw a throw a snowball and it just melts.

Esidisi tends to be the much more playful than Kars

If you every start to get too cold he's your man.

The fact that his blood is practically boiling makes him the perfect heater in colder temperatures.

He's not exactly the best at making snowmen but he tries...

He hasn't seen snow so long, he's so happy.

Let alone having the time to just chill out in the snow.

Wamuu is more confused about the concept of a snowball fight.

Once you explain he is only slightly less confused, not exactly understanding why humans do this but assumes it is some sort of tradition.

If you asked him to help you make a snowman he would try his best and it would come out quite well considering that it's his first try.

He always spent his time training with Kars and Esidisi when he was younger so he never knew that you could do so much when it snows.

It's almost like experiencing the childhood he never had.

He also makes sure you're properly dressed before going out in the snow but is much nicer about it than Kars

the idea of rollo staying at NRC in ramshackle will forever remain soooo fun to me especially with all the other characters freaking out about it HAHA thank you for blessing my dashboard with it <3 it's incredible. maybe one day i'll write a little drabble abt that idea but i'm currently 18.000 words into a rollo/reader longfic (and not even halfway done yet. yippee! what burden did i put on my own shoulders... OTL) and i don't wanna write anything else until i have this monstrosity finished LMAO but if you have any other rollo at nrc ideas pspspspsppspsp thank you

Good luck with your Rollo fic, anon! I know how it feels to subject oneself to long fics, so I wish you all the best with your writing process!!!

As for Rollo at NRC, allow me to share a few thoughts:

✧ Rollo braving the busy cafeteria line when they’re selling the bakery goods once every month. He insists on doing this because he doesn’t want you to get trampled by ignorant mages who don’t know how to be respectful! He always returns with your favorite, sometimes even forgoing the chance to get his own favorite item because you’re way more important to him than a croissant.

✧ PE class with Rollo, but he offers to do the same exercise routine Vargas has created for you since you can’t exactly fly on a broom. He’ll run laps on the track with you (even though he’d rather not) just to be beside you so you won’t feel left out. The two of you slack on sit-ups and push-ups when Vargas isn’t looking, usually just sitting cross-legged in the field and talking about anything and everything.

✧ Since you’re comfortable with letting Rollo stay and sleep in your bed, the two of you will lie on your sides and occasionally whisper to each other through the darkness, mumbling about simple things like tomorrow’s weather, or the next alchemy exam, or how you should both spend this upcoming weekend. Grim usually has to get up and lie between the both of you so you’ll stop talking, but with each nightly conversation Rollo loosens up a little and even seems friendlier and warmer to you and Grim. You think you might’ve heard a genuine chuckle when Grim had gotten up and moved between you, all while sleepily complaining about how neither of you will shut up. Rollo won’t admit it outright, but ever since he started sleeping beside you he’s found that sleep comes much easier now.

✧ Rollo doesn’t like mages, but he’s deemed himself the only mage safe and capable enough to be around you. So when you’re dejected that you can’t experience what it must feel like to fly on a broom he offers to show you without thinking. But then Ace and Deuce are offering, and now Rollo really has to commit to his promise. Ace is too carefree with his flying and Deuce gets too nervous sometimes, so they’re definitely not suited to take you up into the air. Rollo never really thought that something so normal as flying on a broom would appeal to someone who’s never seen or heard of such a thing before, but once he’s in the air with you—and you’re wrapping your arms firmly around him to hold on—he hears the breathy excitement in your voice as you wave and yell down to your friends below. Rollo almost confesses to you right then and there because the sky is the only place private enough for a sudden confession, but he holds his tongue and smiles softly instead. You’re cute when you’re happy.

✧ Rollo likes to study in the library with you, either in one of the alcoves or at a table in the very corner. The two of you might get interrupted by whoever happens to stumble upon you, and it’s annoying when you ask the intruder to stay and study alongside the both of you. But he’s always rewarded after every moment spent with you when you get sleepy and lean against his shoulder, using it as a pillow. Your relationship has become really friendly and casual lately, which is a bond Rollo thought he’d never be able to have. But oh the pride he feels when he looks at Ace or Azul or even Riddle and can see them withholding an envious comment.

✧ When you first took Rollo into the town alongside some friends, wanting to show him around in the same fashion you’d been shown around many months ago, he finds himself thinking about all of the places here that could serve as good date sites. Naturally, taking a walk through the town could be a date in itself, but he sees the cutest restaurants and cafés and shops. And he makes a mental note to return with you next time so that he can properly immerse himself in the atmosphere and pretend it’s a date with only you.

✧ Rollo is there for you if you ever get homesick, much like how you’re there for him when he recalls his past and has to fight tears and sadness so he won’t burden you with such feelings. Rollo doesn’t experience hugs often, but ever since he transferred to NRC you’ve always offered a hug when he looked tired or lonely or saddened. Rollo had pushed you away each time, but when he’s particularly emotionally vulnerable he’ll pull you into him and never let go, holding tightly and burying his face in the crook of your neck.

✧ Stargazing with Rollo when neither of you can fall asleep. Maybe you’re plagued with confusing dreams, maybe it’s his insomnia, or maybe the both of you are kept up by Grim’s loud snoring. Either way, you’ll meet each other in the hall and just silently agree to watch the stars in hopes of getting sleepy. Sometimes you’ll sit at the window; if it’s not too chilly outside you’ll grab a blanket and sit out there, the both of you wrapped up, your gazes turned skyward. Sometimes you’ll talk about deep topics. Sometimes you’ll just wordlessly admire the sky. Sometimes Rollo thinks of telling you he loves you, of reaching out to turn your head towards him so you can taste the confession on his lips. But instead he chooses to admire the brightest star in his world: you.

Izzy Hands is a complex, dynamic, and well-rounded character. The fandom's depiction of making him a flat, simple, all-villain and all-hero character–when it isn't silly-haha and having fun (obviously because me too, girlie, me too)–but as a genuine, serious perspective of his character and his place in the show is something that I would like to point out. 

So, obviously, some of this fandom has strong ass opinions about Izzy Hands, and I have seen so many takes on him, especially with the release of the first season 2 episodes. Now, for those of you who don't know (for any new fans), Izzy Hands is the first mate to Blackbeard's crew and frequently, in season 1, was uptight, persuading Edward Teach to do things he didn't really want to do (Kill Stede Bonnet, act a certain way around the crew, not show weakness, act on another side to him that was present on the Revenge, etc.) 

This has caused a lot of fandom splitting on opinions about him, especially his toxicity to vulnerability when Ed was heartbroken over Stede leaving, Ed and Izzy having more than a captain and first mate relationship, his actions towards the crew, and so on other unpleasant things he's done. This has caused fandom to view him as homophobic (at times internalized), masochistic, an abuser, and villainized. Other parts of the fandom see him as a victim of societal symbolism, a scorned lover (going through a divorce), a one-sided lover, and an actual hero for not only the progression of the story but Ed and Stede's relationship.

A lot of the fandom is insanely split on this, so split I've seen entire arguments about it and people pulling some unbelievable shit over some lil guy in a comedy-emotionally-symbolic pirate show, so I am here to say, very loudly and clearly: Izzy Hands ain't no villain or hero, no abuser or victim. I am here to say he is fucking BOTH simultaneously and that he isn't more of one or the fucking other. He has two hands, and both hold the complex nature of humanity as the beautifully well-rounded character he is. 

To get the ugliest explanation out of the way, the idea of an abuser being a victim and a victim being an abuser is something that, I believe, is something that has to be considered when speaking of Izzy Hands, especially concerning Edward Teach. Like, practically ESSENTIAL, if you want to dive into the meat of their relationship. And I don't just mean that as in, like, "Izzy Hands fucked over Edward emotionally to the point of mentally breaking him and then got physically abused in return by the man he mentally broke with his idiocy," BUT ALSO through the lens of "Edward AND Izzy have spent long years in a hell they can't escape in the line of work they have been forced to stay in, even by those who are supposed to be by their side/society, and in turn twisted the dagger into the stomach of those who placed it on them." 

Now, to clarify, in similar terms, Izzy Hands–someone who is affected by the view of what piracy is supposed to be by literally everyone outside of the Revenge and Blackbeard's ship, as shown in season 1–has abused Edward emotionally, brought upon him ideas that harm him and tear that man apart to the point of feeding into his suicide ideations that have been present from the very beginning. At the same time, Edward has internalized those views and reflected them upon the one who hurt him and others. Izzy Hands and Edward Teach are victims of an idea of what is "right" for them to do, be, and believe, and CONTINUE that cycle by feeding it into the other.

Now, this show isn't the real world, no matter how much you want it to be, so pointing out who is more or not problematic is like looking at a lineup of Hannibal Lecter from multiple types of media and trying to decide who did cannibalism and murder the nicest. They're PIRATES; they KILL people. The fact is that this show uses death and fighting as something that is not serious, goofy even, and injury to the main characters as EMOTIONAL, SYMBOLIC storytelling. Edward getting verbally abused by Izzy Hands daily and Edward choking the man out and taking away his toes and then his fucking leg is on the same level as the storytelling and NOT about one being evil and one being a poor baby. It is simple: they are fucked up guys who hurt one another despite caring for one another. You can find REFLECTIONS of real life in OFMD, but that does not make it real life and should not be treated as such. 

To the "But people don't deserve abuse! You're being an abuser apologist by saying Izzy deserved it!" "Izzy hands brought this on himself and deserves all the physical, emotional, and mental pain, and I hope he dies." I bring you: Izzy is an abuser; the consequences of that abuse broke a man who, in turn, broke him with abuse. It is a cycle, an unhealthy relationship on both sides. No one deserved it, but it happened (is happening even), and what matters is how the show decides to address it. And liking and supporting the prevalence of it on screen to dive into this kind of relationship is not fucking evil. It does not make someone good or bad to explore harsh topics, see them on screen, and enjoy and want MORE of them. 

They are pirates who have been around captains who force-fed crew mates live crabs that ripped through a stomach, watched people burn alive without a second glance, killed their fathers, and threatened each other with guns and weapons on a daily fuckin' basis. This isn't that far-fetched that this would have happened. It doesn't matter who is redeemable; it's about criminals who are fucked up in falling in love and working through issues. And the mere fucked up but REALISTIC SYMBOLISM AND STORYTELLING of Ed and Izzy's relationship brings so much to not only season 1 but their characters and what this means for them in the past and future. In my opinion, it is masterful to see such characters like this on-screen who DO care for each other but can never love each other like they want. Because that's another thing: they truly love each other, and if you want to get deeper into that part of it, I recommend this post I made. 

In summary, this man is the abuser and the abused, and those who refuse to see this are missing the entire part of his character and Ed and Izzy's relationship.

To get to the other point, Izzy is, yes, an abuser and a victim, but at the same time is a fictional being deserving and capable of change, just like every character in the show who is part of the main cast (he is not Big Jack Horner from Puss in Boots, now THAT is an irredeemable character in media done RIGHT). 

People look at Izzy Hands being an asshole and make him a flat-ass villain who is homophobic JUST because he treats the queers on The Revenge like shit and is not deserving of getting the arc he is getting because he wasn't the most pleasant guy in the room is the equivalent of people who took one look at all Izzy's done and thinks Izzy has never done anything wrong in his entire life, everything Izzy has done is justified because he's changed in season 2. And just like I said before, this doesn't apply to the fandom inside jokes. No, when I state these things, it's about people who take it SERIOUSLY. Look at Izzy and GENUINELY THINK IN A VERY REAL, VERY "I WILL FIGHT YOU TO THE DEATH" OPINION ABOUT HIM BEING A VILLIAN OR HERO. Which isn't at all right. He is not at all one or the other; he is just a little guy who plays both roles in-story and out-of-story ways.

He is more than capable of changing, and this is shown in season 1 when he apologized for snapping at Blackbeard over his stress of trying to make sure they survive day to day; he knew he was hurting Edward but was, in fact, doing it to ensure Edward's safety despite how misconstrued it was and still is in season 2 (based on his conversation with Stede in the Captain's Quarters). He is not only protected by the trauma crew on the Revenge but protects them IN RETURN from things that happened off-screen, and those who do not think the end of season 1 Izzy and the beginning of season 2 Izzy match up or are not the same character have missed much context from his past appearances before season 2. And that applies to people who ignore either part of his character, the good or bad.

People who are not redeemable do not apologize for their actions. They do not verbalize and tell people they know they're doing things wrong. These are all signs of a character capable of being self-aware if they choose to. We have seen Izzy Hands choose it between seasons. Just because it wasn't on screen with a neon sign pointing to it doesn't mean it isn't happening and DIDN'T happen. Izzy's reaction to Fang asking what happened to his toe in the library scene isn't how we first interpreted it; it matches the beginning of an abusive cycle we see later. It is a nervous laugh, the settling of something, joy, delight, and fear. Because Izzy was PUT in his place from an idea that Izzy placed in Ed's head. But we know Edward has never been this far gone, so when he continued to be punished, it was no longer a sign of his Blackbeard; that delight vanished and turned to horror and regret and him owning up to his actions. 

Izzy states he and the rest of the crew are WORRIED about him. He cares, and because he doesn't care healthily and cutely doesn't mean he doesn't care because care isn't always pretty and good; it doesn't have to be righteous and morally right. (This applies to Edward and people hating him for his treatment of the crew and Izzy. Everything I have said applies to him as well, just as much. Despite everything, the crew cares about him, but that doesn't mean everything is good and dandy either; it is COMPLEX.) 

Izzy Hands quite LITERALLY has only followed Pirate Protocol this entire time that Edward has followed for years alongside him, and to call him evil and irredeemable is to call Edward the same thing, and to call them both monsters is to miss the entire fuckin point of this show and it's story-telling. 

This is not about what is right and wrong in the lens of real life for every little detail; it is about the right and wrong of love, relationships, and societal expectations upon outsiders and people who don't follow what is expected of them. It is about how each person interprets it and has fun with it, and to make it a battleground is so fuckin sad. I am so sorry you think you must do that and make everything censored and pure when we finally get a show that doesn't queerbait, demonize individuals who usually are, is anti-racist/colonist and doesn't shit on neurodivergent folks.

And last but not least, allow Izzy to be interpreted by fandom as fandom wishes. It's about having fun, so have fun with him while RESPECTING his character and your fellow fans! See him as a masochist? Don't equalize his abuse and victim moments as masochism because abuse does not equal masochism in any form. See him as an antagonist? Hell, yeah, give the bad sides of him some love! See him as a protagonist? Awesome, feed into those positive points! But in no fuckin world is there a reason to attack one another over this little fictional man who is literally nothing like his real counterpart. In summary, everyone's opinion is valid, and if you don't like something, don't interact, and not everything that makes you uncomfortable is evil.

shit this has been sitting in my askbox a while--

I have been thinking about this a good while, but I did also...kinda forget about it for a little lmao...part of the time spent thinking was of how exactly I wanted to format it. I considered doing more of a bullet points sort of thing, but I think in general it's just easier to do this the way I typically explain things on this blog.

Rather than doing specific explanations of the potential relationships between each computation of the girls together, I'm going to speak broadly over each of them and talk about it in a more Poly Dokis sense, since that's typically how I do it anyway. With that intro out of the way, here's my vision in no particular order:

Sayori in general is a very lovey sort of person, regardless of if you're just close friends, or in an actual relationship. As a result, not a great deal actually changes in that respect. She is an absolute cuddlebug and physical touch is definitely her top love language to give, to most people's enjoyment, and some people's slight annoyance (Natsuki). I imagine she works down everyone's personal bubble until it feels weirder to not have a Sayori nuzzling somewhere on their body. She likes playing with everyone's hair. They also like playing with hers; it's a win-win. She's also a big fan of spending time with the others, whatever it is. Anything is fun as long as they're together.

On terms of receiving, Sayori very much likes words of affection, though she doesn't always believe them. She needs a lot of reassurance and reciprocation to be sure that she's doing enough in the relationship, and has a constant worry that she's being overbearing, or that her own failures and stupidity makes her a burden to others around her. Regardless of who she's with, all 3 of them try their best to make it clear that she's doing perfectly fine, and they still love her, obviously.

Sayori relies very heavily on Monika emotionally. I think that's a universal truth of their relationship no matter how it's spun. She does her best to be honest with the other 2, hard as that might be sometimes, but Monika is the only one she feels she can truly be herself around, and Monika is more than happy to oblige. In return, Sayori tries her hardest to help her as well.

She genuinely likes listening to Yuri talk about whatever she's passionate about. It makes her happy to hear Yuri so passionate about something, and she's always glad to encourage her to come out of her shell more. She lets Yuri go at her own pace on terms of how they take their relationship and in general gives her a lot of patience, but as long as Yuri doesn't mind, she will take every opportunity she can get to cuddle up to her. Once she gets past her initial embarrassment, Yuri really appreciates her wordless style of affection and makes an effort to reciprocate. Occasionally, she uses Sayori like a weighted blanket.

Sayori understands that Natsuki needs more space, but is quite persistent in her efforts to break her out of her shell, too. Natsuki is initially pretty put off by Sayori's style of affection (go figure) but doesn't exactly dislike it, it's more like...not what she's used to. She initially rebuffs her, but doesn't exactly fight it very hard. She's also glad to have someone to genuinely talk about manga with, though she gets the sense that Sayori isn't exactly reading into it as much as she is...

Monika has never been in a real relationship in her life, and it shows! She treads very lightly, feeling completely out of her depth, uncertain of what's correct or expected, as though that's a normal question to have in a relationship. She's fairly naive and stumbling her way through it to start. Once she finds her footing though, she's happy to be able to provide love to the people closest to her. Maybe too happy. She tries exceptionally hard to be a good girlfriend, with little attention given to herself. This is something the other 3 try very hard to make up for.

Her primary love language has gotta be words of affection. She loves using pet names and giving lots of compliments. Once she gets over the initial embarrassment of saying "I love you", it becomes her most used phrase, and no matter how many times they hear it, it absolutely melts the others every time. She's also a huge acts of service girlie. She loves being able to buy them lunch, or give them a ride, or help them with homework, or something. She's absolutely the type of person to buy you a lunch when she hears you don't have money for one, and won't hear anything about you paying her back.

She is incredibly bad at receiving affection. She'll minimize your compliment, she'll make sure she gives you something in return for any act of service, and she doesn't want to waste your time if you have somewhere else to be. The other 3 work incredibly hard to just get her to accept that they love her, too, which forces her to introspect on the matter. The one thing she doesn't suck at receiving is physical affection, and consequently it becomes her favorite, particularly from Sayori.

Oh yeah, this is somewhat offhand, but she's a terrible kisser, at least to start. Just thought I'd throw that in too

I think the biggest thing I'd like to establish in what the other 3 see in her is that she makes you feel absolutely safe and welcome in her presence. Whenever you talk to her, suddenly all of your problems and everything stressing you out are miles away, and everything is going to be okay. And she is very happy to provide that for other people; hearing that always makes her heart happy.

She tries her absolute hardest to make sure Sayori gets everything she needs in the validation department. Monika and Sayori reflect each other a lot, to the point that they both generally know what the other is thinking even when they don't voice this. Whenever Sayori is refusing to say something because she doesn't want to create friction, but it needs to be said, Monika will say it for her. Monika voices her needs when she doesn't want to, and she trusts Sayori to do it in return.

She vents to Yuri often whenever she just needs someone to listen, and Yuri likes to rub her back to ease her stress. She does her best to listen to what Yuri has to say in return, as well as humor her talking about her interests, but has a hard time saying she shares the same passion she does for them.

Monika is the one who most enjoys flustering Natsuki, and is also typically the most successful. Natsuki, of course, really enjoys turning the tables and flustering her in return. Natsuki in particular finds it funny that Monika has turned to manga as something of a guilty pleasure.

This is something else tangentially related, but I just realized that because I only advanced my DDLC shipping thoughts in a discord server, I never posted this here, so I think an essential part here is that I think all of the other girls have a huuuuge crush on Monika. Like head over heels, for various reasons. Sayori is obvious but the others find it hard to deny, she's like, the perfect woman. Monika has no concept of anyone having a crush on her prior to them admitting this, and is completely shocked.

Yuri has a somewhat warped view of what romance looks like, given to her by media she consumes. Very pure and romantic and dripping with prose. The thought in the back of her head is constantly "I could never do that...I guess I'll be single forever..." and when she actually ends up in a relationship it ends up throwing her entire worldview out of whack in that respect. In general, the others all spend a lot of time reassuring her that they all love her for her, particularly when she's herself, unabashedly weird. Eventually, with enough persistence and some soul searching, she starts to believe it, and comes further out of her shell.

She really likes feeling important to people. She's a great listener, and her favorite thing to do is to just let other people vent about their problems to her. Her primary means of affection is quality time, with some physical affection once Sayori REALLY breaks down her sense of personal space. She'll sidle up to the others like a cat. Sayori finds this absolutely adorable. She mostly just enjoys spending time silently around other people. The others invite her places and just let her vibe. She loves it. I've mentioned it before, but she also really enjoys sending people songs and things that made her think of them. She also likes buying things that made her think of them as a gift. She's very muted in her expression of love, but she spends a lot of her time away from the others thinking of them.

I also think that Yuri kinda sucks at receiving affection, though in a different way than Monika. Monika will instinctively reject it; Yuri has no clue how to respond. It flusters her, every time, without fail, until eventually she gets used to it and her response seems somewhat flat. Although for particularly sweet gestures, she is unable to contain her excitement.

Oh, also she's probably the best kisser out of the bunch, though she is frequently too embarrassed to do much more than a peck on the cheek to start.

Sayori is her go-to whenever she wants to infodump about something she's been really into lately, because she actively listens and tries to engage her, mostly because she really enjoys it whenever Yuri is excited about something. Despite her initial hesitancy, she actually really appreciates the kind of casual physical affection which Sayori employs, because she really likes and wants physical affection, but doesn't know how to ask without feeling awkward.

She likes it when Monika vents to her. She always feels incredibly at ease around Monika, which is difficult for her to find anywhere else, much less with another person, and she really wants to give back in return what Monika gives to her. She feels comfortable enough to freely talk with Monika based on this fact, partially because she knows Monika feels the same to her. It makes her feel wanted, and she likes that.

She really tries her hardest to help when Natsuki has problems, listening to her vent about her dad, or other people, or the world, or anything else that's giving her trouble at the moment. Yuri does her best to help steer her more towards the kind of person she wants to be, and to reassure her that she isn't a terrible person.

Natsuki is averse to being in a relationship on the risk that she turns out like her parents. The only reason she's here is because the others assured her they would help her not to be. Despite her hesitancy, and her pushing back on a lot of what's given to her, she does enjoy it. (She just doesn't think she deserves it.) In general, she's just very awkward at navigating anything and everything related to it, and is very easily embarrassed by the whole thing. It takes time to get her comfortable with it.

She's very acts of service heavy. She likes making things for other people, and spends a lot of time and effort doing so. She derives a lot of joy out of directly providing for people, and particularly in the beginning, she's still convinced that's all she can provide, but she does grow better at avoiding that sort of thinking with time. She also likes spending quality time with people, probably baking, maybe chatting about/reading manga.

She is absolutely head over heels for Monika, despite finding that realization...kind of annoying. She thinks she is literally the most beautiful, perfect girl she has ever met, and despite her best efforts to ignore that powerful urge to heap praise onto her, she can't help but make an effort to impress her, which is frequently successful!...which only goads her on to do it more. She tries to get Monika to read some of the series she's more seriously invested in, because she knows Monika will get a deeper understanding of the themes and subtext.

She's envious of how easily Sayori can make friends with anyone, and finds her to be so sweet it's hard to handle. She is absolutely terrified of ever doing anything to hurt her because she knows that whatever it was, Sayori would never let go. Sayori takes great lengths to remind her that she would never do that, because she is her, not her father. She is initially annoyed by Sayori's very heavy physical affection, but also seriously appreciates it because she would never in a million years ask for a hug.

Yuri and Natsuki's relationship is special. They eventually get to a point where they just understand each other. Yuri will push back on her just enough that Natsuki is confident trusting that what she says is honest, including that she really does love her and will never leave her. She seriously appreciates that. She finds it really fun to try and get Yuri to move outside her comfort zone.

Hello! It has been fun reading all the different theories and directions chapter 7 can take as well as your thoughts on it! I was also surprised that Lilia announced his departure so soon, and while so far I am personally inclined to believe him about his powers fading due to age, I do wonder if Lilia could be testing Malleus in some way or teaching him a life lesson. Death is a natural part of life, and with the long lifespan of the fae, Malleus is bound to deal with the loss of loved ones/people in general 😔, especially as the next ruler. Lilia could be testing how Malleus reacts to loss as it could be an issue when he takes the crown. That being said, I don't think that Lilia is trying to induce an overblot (but well, who knows haha), but rather highlight the fact that life is not permanent (even for fae) and this cannot be changed (probably), and therefore life and time spent together should be treasured.

Personally, I believe that part of why Malleus is in school is to forge connections but also possibly to learn how to say goodbye (when he graduates), and to treasure the time spent together with peers even if they are not permanent. This is just my interpretation, but Malleus appears to struggle with perceiving time and living in the present moment. As such, he occasionally misses out on opportunities to bond with others or connect with the world. This is likely because he is fae but Lilia does not appear to struggle as much regarding this, so there could be other reasons 🤔. He doesn't appear to value time as much as others do (e.g. dismissing 3 months of internship because it's too short) which is understandable, but I think is something he should value more especially because life is not permanent. So maybe the life lesson Lilia could be imparting to Malleus is that people will come and go and that should be accepted, but it shouldn't stop him from genuinely connecting with others because it will make life better, even if it is more painful.

Sorry for the long ask haha but anyways it's all just opinions/possibilities! I'm very excited to see how the story goes from here. Have a nice day!

I agree with a lot of the points you brought up, Anon! I feel like a lot (and I mean a lot) of the upset surrounding Lilia leaving is because people expect a found family or a close knit group of friends (like Diasomnia) to always be comfy and together. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Part of being a family or being friends is also weathering through the tough times together, even if it is painful in the moment.

Many often forget that sometimes Lilia’s way of teaching a lesson or letting a secret out can be very callous. He was, of course, insensitive to the worry he caused Silver and Sebek while pulling off the prank in Endless Halloween Night, and did not gracefully divulge the truth of Silver’s human heritage to him when initially asked about it (Lilia just went, “Oh, you didn’t notice our ears were different until now?”). Lilia is also notably stern and sharp-tongued when scolding others (ie Leona in episode 2). And remember how hardcore his training was for young Silver and Sebek? Lilia can be so much harsher than he initially appears to be. It is for this reason that it’s possible that his departure is to encourage those remaining in Diasomnia to learn to stand on their own. All three of them are representative of the future of the Briar Valley and of Lilia’s hopes for peace between the races—the future king, a human able to bridge the difference between fairies and non-fairies, and a mixed child of a fairy and a human. But they can’t fully realize their own potentials if they keep leaning on Lilia for support. It’s could be like a case of “touch love”/“if you love them, let them leave the nest” (except it’s Lilia leaving in this case to force their hands).

I think Malleus is specifically in a position where it will be difficult for Lilia to get through to him. His entire existence has been a lonely and isolating one, and it’s hard to get the socially awkward Malleus to open up to others or to have peers approach him due to his overwhelming aura and power. His distorted sense of time also doesn’t help with this, as it leads Malleus to drastically over or underestimating the time he has (ie he mistakes Vil’s magical aging as the result of more time passing than he had perceived, he often misses meetings because he mixed up the date/time, he believes the internship periods are “too short” to learn anything substantial, etc). He cannot enjoy the present moment because (to him) it slips away so fast, and he has an several centuries ahead of him. Now is nothing. Malleus does not value time because he has so much of it left; this is why Lilia’s words strike him at the end of episode 6: others may have life spans far shorter than theirs, but they can still come together to forge strong bonds in the short time that they have. “We live among such creatures, Malleus.” There is value in the quality of time spent together, not just the length of it—that is what Lilia is trying to express to Malleus, who will eventually outlive his classmates.

Lilia has had the worldly experiences and the age to fuel his understanding of the flow of time and how to live peacefully with other creatures, but Malleus has not—and those things cannot easily be taught, and certainly not in the time span of a few years of schooling. This is likely why Lilia goes out of his way to push Malleus to act outside of his comfort zone and to live his school life to its fullest, to go out and talk to people, to journey to new places and to steep himself in other cultures. He wants Malleus to have those enriching experiences because experience is the best teacher.

It is pointed out by the students of NRC that they don’t understand why someone as powerful and as important as Malleus is wasting his time with school. This is also something that Leona mentions in regards to himself; what could they possibly hope to learn from school? They can afford the best private tutors and resources without so much as glancing in the direction of the school grounds. But that’s just it: it’s the social experience of being surrounded by peers and interacting with them, having to work together with them, hearing from all walks of life. These cannot be gained in isolated self study. It’s also true that the negative experiences associated with those things cannot be had outside of school. The good and the bad are a part of life, and Malleus needs to become accustomed to it if he is to become a well-rounded and wise adult like Lilia.

The connections he makes and the good-byes that come with them… they’re important parts of growing up. Even if it hurts now, it’s meant to make you stronger in the long run.

(I’m not saying this is Lilia’s canonical reason for leaving so soon, but that it aligns with Lilia’s philosophy that we know of so far. It isn’t completely out of character for Lilia to announce his departure and to entrust his boys with the future while he is away.)

i really do write from the heart and i am glad that it shows. :')

writing is something that has always felt as easy as breathing to me, its equal parts relaxing and cathartic to me as well as my favorite thing in the world to do -- specifically writing FF, which rocks because i get what i love and share it with people who do too! <3

and i know this is my hobby for fun, but i do...take the things i write a little bit too seriously. mostly in the sense that i want to write beautiful and evocative things, nice things, quality content, because other wise, what am i doing? it's one thing to waste my time, but its another thing entirely to waste yours. you deserve good things.

that's why the things i write take so long, i guess? because i do try to choose my words carefully. i change sentences several times, sometimes multiple times even after i have published a chapter just because i am committed to putting out the best version of what i write that i can. not even just in terms of objectively good writing...academically...but in Feeling.

if i'm writing something and you're just reading it and not feeling it than i am doing something wrong, haha. <3

( it's also why i snapped at that anon the other day...because i already work so hard to put good content out and exert myself a lot to do so, that being badgered like that or being made to seem like i don't care about my fanfics when i format them intricately for DAYS...irks me...

...also because the tag is already so dead, interest is already so low, so to set your expectations so high of me, that stress and anxiety of which being what made me pause peppermint to begin with, when i honestly, because of the lack of engagement/inspiration, considered disappearing into the woods and never updating again...was whack. )

BUT! moving on! it thrills me so much that you like stan and kyle and like their dynamic. like, i know it's cringey to call your favorite fictional characters your sons, or whatever, but seriously, they are kind of like...my sons i'm not even kidding. i will take being cringe; its fine.

like they were whatever 2d character skeleton matt and trey created, but in pep specifically, i put a lot of me in them, a lot of my real experiences, my personality, virtues, flaws, and my humanity. so i'm glad that they feel real to you, because they are living in a sense that i tried to breathe as much life into them as i could. they're...very me.

also that polar opposites comment made me kick my feet because i loooove opposites attract ships. it's literally my favorite favorite ship. i specifically really like opposites attract where one of them is really sweet and the other one is really mean, loud/quiet, intro/extrovert.

more specifically even before i was a style girl, my favorite characters to write are....not even joking... 'mean, gay, introverted, academic, solitaire, nerd character who thinks everyone is a fucking idiot' and like 'beautiful troubled pyrite golden boy atlas who who smiles the widest out of anyone but is the most miserable out of everyone'.

so style really just kind of fell in my lap. south park blessed me, truly.

( i also really got comfortable writing kenny and bebe, because i really like characters with layers that get typecasted by their apperance, but are so drastically different behind the scenes, but no one looks.

its also why i did not immediately gravitate towards creek...not only is the fanon really aggressive, but i just do not have the same understanding/innate feeling of them...so if they sound weird in rm...its really difficult for me to write them: i'm sorry if they're flat. )

but back to stan and kyle...my sons who i raised lmao...

they're co-dependent and like soul bonded, but its important to me that they are seen as individuals because they are so different and their differences bring out the best in each other. love them omg.

i actually kind of got a little nervous writing rm ( for a lot of reasons ), but because they're still opposites attract style but in a different font and they smell different and act different askhdlashd which i thought people might think is ooc because they're different than pep, but they are actually...in character i swear. i like very consciously designed them to make sense even they it don’t right now. *sweats*

i know i don’t have to explain myself or owe any kind of explanation for myself, but it validates me because…

good plot and things connecting is a large part of my foundation and belief system as a writer. i like when things work together. when stuff feels not important or is weird...it pisses me off, lmao. which is why i scrapped the recent kyle chapters...and its why rm is so complicated because i'm carrying you guys through the dark basically, haha.

so skhdlksad tldr: thank you for enjoying my stories! i work hard on the word choices, characterizations and plot!

...but more than that, it i feel many, infinite and all-encompassing happinesses knowing that you enjoy me as a person. :)

using the word "person" feels very important to me because i have never been very fond of the idea of being just a "fanfiction author" and you all being my "readers". something about that feels very stale...and dehumanizing.

which is why, when i first wrote peppermint, i signed it with nina. it's also why i write such long, deranged author's notes before my chapters and respond to you with such ( sometimes, i fear, overwhelming ) excitement and verbiage in my comments section!

it's because i want you to see that i am a person who aims to write so vividly and candidly about fake people, that the real people reading it feel seen by it. and that you know, in doing so, in representing you in some way, that i see you, honor you and love you very, very much.

it's also why i made this tumblr! because i just wanted to chat with you guys more and show you that i exist outside of ao3. and while it was fun doing all the social medias ( i do really miss the tiktok and stuff ), i was a little scared it was becoming too like, me acting like a weird celebrity? pandering? not being humble? idk? i was also a little scared with being too careless on the internet. a lot of things...but mostly because i felt like it was creating a weird creator/reader thing.

and i never want you to feel like that, like there's a wall or something.

you and me, all of you and me, i see us all as equal and quite frankly, i value you over me! you are not people reading my fic, but my friends.

and friends, i think, use each others names which is why i gave you mine because being called boxwinebaddie felt...criminally insane.

I apologize for taking a while to respond, but do not be fooled... this never left my mind (I also combined the two asks so they wouldn't be separate :>)—more so because the second season of jujutsu made me wonder just how involved Hinata would've been when everything went down!!

But going back to this video—yes!! I think Hinata and Satoru would've done, even with their differences, everything together at one point, and excel at it too.

Knowing how everything comes easy to him Hinata would've made it work, mostly because out of spite haha. She couldn't allow Satoru to be that good, she had to be in his level or near him (She wanted to save herself the incessant teasing from his part) while Satoru would come up with the craziest ideas to find a "weakness" for him to exploit/humiliate, only for him to be rightfully contested when she wouldn't relent.

However, the more they spent time together, the more they realized they genuinely liked being with one another, at one point Satoru offered to teach her whatever she needed—with Hinata willingly accepting to be his student.

I do feel they were attracted to one another, if not started to be attracted, during this time. I mean, they were teenagers, very hormonal, and have been in each other's life since forever 😂 it just started to happen, so... why not?

Hinata would be the first to find the other attractive, however, Satoru would be the first one to conclude that "maybe spending the rest of my life with her isn't as bad"

Of course these sentiments were nothing but a step they needed to take in order to know themselves and what they wanted in life, (like their first time together lol idk if writing it would be morbid but let's be real after all the shit I've done.... do I have any excuse? 😂) eventually coming to the realization that what they wanted the most out of the other was friendship—The reassurance that no matter what happened they would still be there for one another.

Presumably around the time where Satoru met Suguru. They just had a whole new level of chemistry, and Hinata was all in for it.

After Hinata called off the engagement I could totally see Satoru telling her something like:

"If we're still single at 30 we could marry each other and have some kids or something" to which she would only roll her eyes and dismiss as him being his usual silly self—at least outwardly, because Hinata wouldn't deny that the idea of settling down with someone she already knows is nice.

I mean, let's not forget how her dating endeavors had been going—she hates it lol. And I can't blame her, the dating scene is... oof. So why waste her time meeting people that just don't get her, seemingly don't have any ambitions, don't share her work ethics and whatnot, when she could could just rely on Satoru?

And if the pressure from the elders towards Satoru grows too "annoying" for him to keep ignoring, or who knows, maybe he finally decides he do wants to settle down, he could rely on her as well.

It sounds awful when put that way lol, but I think these things serve to show just how intertwined Satoru and Hinata were, something that only people who have known each other for a very long time, and learned to trust one another completely, could do.

Satoru cherishes Ren, Hinata, and Y/N a lot, and so do they. There's nothing they wouldn't do for one another, and that's something I intend to show deeper into the story :>

Tips for growing your writing blog... oof. Please take everything I have to say with a grain of salt, as it's mostly my own observations and opinions!!

So first of all, it's only natural to be disappointed when you publish something and it gets less notes than you expected or wanted it to. This goes for any kind of cc, and I get that feeling very well - but especially for someone who's only just gettting started it must be discouraging. And we post our works here because we want to reach people! So like... I think it's only natural to pay some attention to the numbers^^

That said, I think the key to growing your writing blog and your follower base is time and luck. I've had this blog since July last year and I'm around 500 followers, and I've had my boy group writing blog @sxcret-garden since September 2020 and I'm at around 2.3k followers there - just to give an example. Still the amount of notes I get differs greatly from group to group and even from idol to idol! As you keep posting stuff, more people will find your blog and you'll gain followers, so I think you just need to be patient here!

Another thing that determines how many people will read your stuff is what groups you write for. There's a difference between girl group writings and boy group writings, and it also depends on the fandoms. In my experience the easiest way to gain many readers is by writing for newer groups with medium to high popularity, because if the group debuted recently, chances are there aren't thaaat many people consistently writing for them yet, so fans will be very much hungry for content haha. Popular groups in general usually get you more readers as well, but I feel like here it depends a lot on what members you write for! Since some are more popular among fans and some less.

Genre is an important factor as well. What I've noticed is that for boy groups, any genre will get you a decent amount of interactions, so long as the group is popular enough. With girl groups, smut seems a lot more popular than for example fluff. Though this as well depends on the fandom and also what gender your reader is! Same sex relationships in fics tend to get less notes than hetero relationships or gn!readers that most people can identify with. Fic length is another thing that can determine how many reads you get - especially in fandoms where tons of fics get posted everyday, long oneshots tend to get way more notes than short drabbles. Reactions are good go-to pieces if you want to get new readers' attention, because they're short and easy to read, and usually include all members of a group, so even people who only read things that include their biases have something to read here!

I feel like this answer is already getting way too long, so I want to get to the point that I think is most important here: Write what's fun to you. Write for yourself. This is the conclusion I have reached for myself, reflecting on the time I've spent on this hellsite as a fic writer. If you only think about how to get popular and how to please your readers, it's easy to find yourself forcing yourself to write things that aren't fun to you. Of course if you enjoy doing requests, then do that! But always keep your own limits in mind^^ I think if you write things that you enjoy, it pays off even when you don't get that many interactions on a piece. Plus, people can tell. If you genuinely enjoy doing something, you're more likely to put in more effort, right? And your readers will notice that^^

There's obviously also other stuff you can do to get a wider reach - paying attention to what tags you use on your works, joining a writing network, and finding mutuals who write as well and who you can count on to reblog your works! Posting teasers of your upcoming works can help as well.

Writing skills obviously play a part in this too, but many readers won't mind if your grammar or spelling isn't perfect, so long as they like what you write. A peek in the tags of the groups you want to write for will also give you some information on how many notes you can expect on average, or what kind of content fans want to see and engage with more! This kind of research can answer your questions better than I can too, because everything I mentioned so far can be very different from group to group^^

HELLO HELLO I just found and read "So, what was your name again?" on AO3 while surfing the Darius Adopts Hunter tag, and I am IN LOVE WITH IT.

I love how each chapter focused on a different character's interactions with Hunter and just their thoughts in general — the way Willow resolves to be strong for her friends, Camila taking care of Hunter (mother figure Camila!! Even if she doesn't adopt him I do love her being Hunter's soft-launch to parental affection, because the Titan knows Belos was a dickwad to him), the way Luz derailed her own (vaguely self-destructive) plans to sit with Hunter, Gus and Hunter being brothers, Amity and Hunter having a stilted but slowly mending friendship. All of these were so damn good!!!

And the last chapter was so sweet and comforting and homely that I could practically feel Darius's affection myself. I read that chapter twice. It's stunning. I love that the kids were all willing to take Hunter in if he had nowhere to go (but he did!!!!) and how Darius was sorely tempted to mirror Hunter's muffled screaming. Actually just Darius being embarrassed in general, because I love his dynamic with the other rebels (Eda/Raine/Eber) and the Aladarius rivalry going strong as always (those two will never not be funny).

Especially Uncle Eber!! I love that Eber and Darius are brothers. I live for Dadrius fics in general but when Eber gets included in their family it just makes the fic 1000 times better. Eber's gonna be the best uncle ever, eat that Belos (not that the bar was very high but STILL).

Anyway there is so much more I want to say about this but it's starting to escape me and I'd read the last chapter again to recall all the details but that would take me very long (there are MANY details that I love) and I have like three overdue assignments.

No, I don’t think so? I think all of the fics I have ever written that I didn’t publish, they’re not published either because they’re not done yet or I wrote them on paper and I just didn’t feel like typing them out haha. Back when I was in high school, I had this huge notebook and I wrote at least 30 pages of fanfiction. And I wrote a lot of other things too. And I made sure to write them in the tiniest way possible to fit as many words onto a page as I could (and so nobody could read them over my shoulder haha). But it’d be just too much work to type those out.

18. What’s your most underrated fic?

To be honest, I don’t feel that any of my fics are underrated. I think they’re rated the amount that they are deserving. Do I have overrated fics? Most definitely HAHA. But as for underrated… I think they’re all good. All the fics I didn’t spend a long time on don’t have a lot of notes. And all the fics I spent a decent amount of time have a decent amount of notes. However, at one time, A Drink They Call Loneliness was severely underrated with only like 20 notes, so I guess it’d be that one at that time haha.

32. Who’s the one character who shines without you even trying?

I’m curious about what this means. Does it mean which character is just so popular you can write a crappy fic and it’ll get notes? *eyes Alhaitham* Or do you mean a character that just flows so well with my ideas and writing style that they just shine (in my eyes)? If so, that would be Zhongli. I just like his character and how… unseemingly tragic and lonely it is. It works well with a lot of things. Or is the question which character always gets the most notes from my writing? Currently that would be Zhongli as well haha. Despite Zhongli ranking high though, he's really not one of my favorite characters HAHA

Has writing fanfiction had a significant impact on my life? I’m… not too sure. I’d definitely say that reading fanfiction has had a negative impact on my life, but writing? I’m not sure. I have ten billion hobbies that I switch between every six months or so. That being said, writing has been something I’ve genuinely enjoyed for years. But I don’t think not having this hobby would’ve changed anything in my life from birth until now. So no, I don’t think it’s had a significant impact.

Honestly, this past year has just been an all around really shitty one for me... losing my only job, becoming homeless, drifting apart from friends, etc. It's been tough, but I'm so relieved to be in the new year. To get a fresh start, and whatnot. Anyways, I wanted to reach out and tell you how much your writing has genuinely saved me throughout these past six months. I first discovered you in summer of 2022 and quickly binged all of your work because everything was so good. Then I read your 2-part 'Bunny' series. And damn, did that hit close to home for me. For most of my life, I lived in an abusive situation that was similar to the one that y/n suffers from in th the series, and to be honest, reading it was very therapeutic for me. It was so nice and comforting, to read something that I could relate to on a deep level, while also being written for one of my favorite people in the entire world (aka Minnie, my love ❤️). These past few months, I'll be so tierd from work and uni at the end of the day that I don't have the energy to do anything else that I used to find fun. But reading is still fun for me, and I find myself coming back to your work constantly (even though, by this point, I've read everything more than once haha). Reading your stuff always makes me feel better, even if it's something short like a blurb or drabble. It always puts a smile on my face, seeing how you craft your thoughts into beautiful stories. This past year has been really hard for me too. I'm really sorry you've had to go through all that. His name is Charles Kendrick, an English-Welsh student of UA with Celtic and British roots. He's 17, 5'6", kinda plump with fair skin, brown hair, hazel eyes, and has a lot of small moles and freckles. His fashion is either a gamer or a jock. Queer but goes with he/him pronouns, ENFP, and a Gryffinpuff. He loves Charles’s laidback personality a lot. He too, believes that learning can take more than one form, and the two of them probably bonded through that. He really likes just hanging out with Charles, even if that means the two of them are just scrolling through their phones and sitting next to each other. They are honestly a vibe.

Please share memes with Denki. He loves them, and he likes humorous people in general. The two of them are lowkey class-clowns of their own classes (unless their in the same class) and I can imagine how popular they are to the students because of this. The teachers, on the other hand, might find their combo too perfect that they can’t get through lessons sometimes haha. But overall, everyone likes how they are able to make people smile, and that’s one thing Denki admires so much about Charles.

He loves video games too, so there’s bound to be long gaming sessions between the two of them. The games can honestly be anything, from rpgs to just Minecraft, they would have so much fun no matter what it is. I can imagine them having small competitions like who can do a faster speedrun on a certain level and the loser has to buy dinner on their next night out or so. If Charles is busy in a rugby game, Denki's out there cheering super loudly for him. It's honestly so cute to the people that see it!

Entry 1

Fun week not gonna lie however a lot of money was spent.. I don’t even want to check my bank account :/ This week was the start of a new semester and also my birthday so i went out with some of friends to celebrate hence why i spent so much money </3. I’ll start by talking about how i celebrated my birthday.

On the 20th Saturday (not this week but i figured it’ll be nice to include it as well) I celebrated my birthday early with my family, we ate at this restaurant called “Sold Out” if i’m not mistaken. We ordered a pizza, lasagna and some mutton curry dish to share. We only ordered three dishes since our neither of us have a big appetite. We chatted over dinner and overall had a great time. We then went home and ate the cake they bought for my birthday, the cake was quite big and we were all already very full but my dad didn’t want us to keep it overnight so he forced us to chuck it down… it was a nice cake though

Sunday, 21st, i went out with my childhood friends to celebrate my birthday!! We went to this cafe called Nippori to eat brunch. The food there quite decent but the environment was really nice. We got chased out of the restaurant for taking too long because there was a time limit for how long we could dine. Was it worth it though?? Lowkey yes, took some really cute pictures with them! They also baked one and bought one cake for me, the one they baked HAD MY FACE ON IT? i was genuinely so shock with the cake they baked?? (the cake WAS NOT FULLY COOKED BY THE WAY 😭) We also dropped by One Utama just to visit the photo booth to once again take pictures.. girlhood for real! but i feel like we got scammed?! THE PHOTOBOOTH COSTED RM50 FOR 4 COPIES? Never going back there 💀.

Moving on to the actual week, Monday, 22nd which is my birthday! and unfortunately also the first day of a new semester 😔 Before attending my first class i went to get brunch with some of my friends from foundation to celebrate my birthday then rotted at the registry until 3 for my first class. To be honest, i genuinely thought the first week, lecturers would just brief us on our course and assignments then let us leave since it was like this for the past few semesters but i was wrong haha.. the lecturers stared teaching first week.

Wednesday, 24th i went out with my fellow January baby friends to celebrate our birthday together. We went for lunch and karaoke. The karaoke was so expensive?? they had this thing called public eve?? so they charged us the same price as public holiday </3 My friend also crocheted Miffy for me as my birthday gift, it’s so cute! I named it Tiffany HAHAHA and Oh My God also the rain was so heavy that day, so many trees fell in my neighbourhood like it blocked the whole road?! It was so jam too?!?! my mom called me to take the other road back but i was already mid jam, and when i was almost near my house like literally one turn and i’ll be home THERE WAS A POLICE BLOCK! THEY WANTED US TO U-TURN TO TAKE THE OTHER ROAD BACK 😭 So i was stuck in traffic for another 15 to 20 minutes.

Thursday, 25th was Thaipusam public holiday so i didn’t have any class. I actually made plans on this day to go out with my significant other but my mom TOLD ME TO CANCEL BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO SPRING CLEAN 😭 So i did that.. we threw out so many things, usually i would be hesitant to throw away my old stuff because of how attached i am to it but this time i just threw them away without batting a single eye! (I’m so proud of myself) I also cleared out a lot of old clothes which i was originally going to recycle and donate them but today i found out you can actually sell them to second hand clothing shops. So i’m going to do that instead and only recycle/donate them if they reject the clothes.

Friday, 26th, so remember how i said i had cancel my plans made during thaipusam? so i postponed it to this day. I went out with my significant other after his class ended to grab lunch. We chatted over lunch but it was mostly me yapping the whole time. Honestly i think i yap too much but whatever HAHAHA Ohh and during my semester break i picked up on crocheting so i crocheted him a rose BUT JUST RIGHT BEFORE I WANTED TO GIVE IT TO HIM I BROKE THE STEM </3 so he now he hets a flimsy, wonky looking rose :( Then he gave me my birthday present and let me tell you i am so GRATEFUL for it🙏🏻🙏🏻 because he really did not have to. Originally i had physical class that day but it was changed to online so i had to go back home to attend my class.

Saturday, 27th. My weekends are usually quite boring cause it’s just me going to work. I currently work as a part time admin at a tuition centre. Nothing much happened just my usual work. However after work my parents wanted to go to KL specifically chinatown to look at CNY decos and stuff but most of the stores were already closed cause it was already night. So we ended up just strolling around there.

Sunday, 28th. Nothing much happened to be honest. Me, my sister and my mom did some last minute chinese new year clothes shopping. That was pretty much it
