i love you girls who are filled with unbridled rage and an irrepressible sense of justice. you can never be annoying to me. they can never make me hate you.

so there's this post that talks about how people call jason's curved knife a kris but it's not a kris 'cuz why would he have a southeast asian knife? and op's tags say if you're gonna give him an 'exotic' weapon at least make him malay or something. a later reblog adds a filipino kris as an example, and then i was like, 'omg, jason in a barong tho.' SO i tried designing a bat-barong inspired by his hood logo, for a filipino jason haha. and now here we are! 😊✨️🇵🇭

Something I really like about Raph and Leo’s relationship is that Raph noticeably doesn’t hold back with Leo nearly as much as he does with Donnie and Mikey, and it’s really nice to see that from him.
Leo too would frequently fall into a natural strategist and second-in-command role of sorts, often actually giving his worries and thoughts to Raph where he wouldn’t normally.
Then the Shredder happens and this dynamic is thrown into a loop where they both stay solidly in their own camps of “we’re heroes, it’s our duty” and “we’re teens, who cares?” And during this, Raph not holding back from Leo is cranked up to an eleven and Leo flips around to mask more with Raph than he ever had before and deliberately riles Raph up so that fights are all but guaranteed.
Post-invasion, it’s clear they’re (mostly) back to how they were before for the most part, with an added level of respect and maturity (and trauma) there too, and it’s great to see because they’re an amazing duo when they’re on the same wavelength.

Leo Valdez who loves like a lovesick puppy, who follows who he has a terrible crush on.
Leo Valdez who loves like a hurt dog who was given the bare minimum and loves them so fiercely he defends them with all his heart and love.
Leo Valdez who can't help but shove himself the depths of a relationship like it's the last thing be will ever have because he can't bear to have them leave him and he can't bear to ever have them disappear.
Leo Valdez who lays awake at night waiting for them to text back because they're his everything but to them he's just another boy.
Leo Valdez who falls in love with Jason Grace but by time that happened he's so tired and sick of loving people who doesn't love him back he blinds himself from all the obvious signs that Jason likes him because that's what friends do.
Jason Grace who loves Leo Valdez so softly and treats him gently and takes his hand so softly in his own and waits patiently for him to come to him and love him back, Jason who waits for his crush to love him back so he can show him that love doesn't have to be pure devotion and that he's always there.
Okay goodmorning!

Petunia's coat seems like it's getting less greasy in the last few photos! If so, is it because she's allowing pets now? I've noticed with taming ferals that petting improves coat quality - a form of grooming, I suppose.
It’s still very greasy to the touch tbh but I would say it’s a tiny bit better than usual? That being said she’s pretty clumpy rn. In the past I’ve brought her to the clinic and we’ve sedated her to get brushed out. Then when she got a little more tame I was able to brush her out at the clinic without her being sedated bc she did the “if I don’t move nobody will hurt me” thing.
Now it’s been a couple months since she got any brushing because I’ve been doing her nail trims at home with help from my mom. So she is pretty clumpy above her tail :|
I brushed one of them out earlier today and she wanted to bite me soooooo bad but she resisted. I showed her the clump afterwards so she’d understand why I was torturing her. She looked disgusted
