I’m really missing season 1 Stiles, so let’s imagine him having a crush on reader😍

We all know how Stiles had an enormous crush on Lydia, it was absolutely devastating tbh. Like this dude was lowkey devoted to her💀💀

So what if a new student (reader) moved into town and it’s love at first sight for him. He’d bump into you after rambling to Scott about whatever was on his mind and knocks your binder and books to the ground.

Helping you pick up your stuff, right when he’s giving you your notebook, he’d look up and just. Stare. Cuz ZOOWEEMAMA YOURE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING IN HIS EYES

You’re busy thanking him and apologizing for the collision, waiting for him to let go of the notebook, voice slowly fading out when you notice him just staring at you with his mouth slightly open.

“Thanks for helping me. Can I have my book?”

“Uh huh.”

“Stiles, you know you have to let go of the notebook.” Scott is trying his best not to slam his head in a locker when his friend still doesn’t let go LMAO

Your chuckle snaps him out of whatever daze he was in, causing him to blush and apologize awkwardly. You’d smile at him and in good nature, joke about it and walk away, leaving him in awe.

Most people would normally give him the stink eye, but seeing how you joked about it made his heart flutter a bit.

Everything is HISTORY after that. If you have any classes with Stiles, you already KNOW he’s gonna try and sit as close to you as possible. Teacher assigns partner or group projects? He’s springing out of his seat and going to you first. You both have the same lunch period? He’s inviting you to sit with him and his friends. You’re having trouble with a certain class? Man, he’s already offering to help you after school, you’ll nail that test with flying colors!

You just get him! You like his sarcasm and MIRACULOUSLY understand his random references from movies and video games! With all the time you guys spend together, his crush on you grows more and more.

You appreciate how Stiles is so interested in the things you like and dislike. You love how he asks why you enjoy a certain movie despite the terrible reviews it got. Why you dislike an artist he just began listening to. You both love the same things, but have different opinions on everything, every conversation flows so naturally with him that you can’t help but develop a crush on him too.

You’ve never met anyone as eccentric and energetic as him, he never fails to bring a smile to your face teehee

Stiles is the type to remember every little, seemingly insignificant, thing about his crush. When your birthday rolls around, this dude has so many gifts ready😭 a warm feeling fills you when you open one gift to see it’s an item you’ve mentioned in a passing convo yall had MONTHS ago

Ace

I think he would first think you're joking, you're puling his leg. There's no way you would actually want to date him...right?

But with how serious you seemed when approaching him, as in you were stuttering some of the words, asked him out in a tone that seemed very genuine, and you were looking at him with a few glances that basically screamed "I mean every word I said" he was at a loss of words. He didn't know how to react!

"Ah...haha well if this isn't a joke, um" he tries to act like his usual, casual self but it keeps failing. He's also finding himself becoming a blushing mess. A part of him is so happy he's getting a date with you, but another part of him is scared he'll mess up the potential relationship but also the friendship you two have.

Pulling you closer by wrapping an arm around your shoulders, Ace tells you he's super happy you asked him out. "I was gonna do that first, but you beat me to it!" he'll smile. He's really happy, you'll be able to tell with how his eyes seem like they're twinkling

Deuce

Also a stuttering mess except he didn't think you were joking, he thought you were blabbering after having not slept for a couple days. But you tell him you're being serous and that you really want to be with him, which causes his brain to pull a blank

He's wanted to ask you out for so long, he's probably practiced in front of a mirror how he was going to ask you out (was caught by Ace once and threatened Ace he would drop multiple cauldrons if he told you haha). However, you beat him to it and he hadn't practiced a response, so he just nods furiously when you ask him "So...a cafe date?"

He's adorable, very flustered but super cute. He tells you with a small smile that he hoped you would go on a date with him, he just didn't know if he had the courage to ask you. "I would love to go on a date with you, let me know when and I can pick you up at Ramshackle!"

He will be writing back to his mother about this and probably won't stop talking about you to her either. He's just so happy that something he thought was only a dream happened and honestly after you left him he probably ran back to his dorm like super happy and probably shouted "GUESS WHAT!" to Ace when they met up

Jack

He's stunned, he wasn't sure if you would want to date him because of his more or less intimidating features and also he tended to be a lot more serious. However, that serious face dissolves when you ask him out

He's had a crush on you since you two met, mostly because he admired how strong you were as a person both on the inside and the outside. You were resilient, able to handle any tasks that came in your way, and you were kind to all students. Jack really wanted to get closer to you but didn't know how to show interest, so he probably stuck to just picking up conversations here and there when you two met

He didn't expect you to confess first, or at all tbh. He thought it was just him being silly with a crush but here you were. He can't meet your eyes, he's blushing, but in the end he gives out a small "I would love to" and opens his arms so you can give him a hug.

I feel like he wouldn't let people know just because Savanaclaw would honestly tease him (in a nice way) whenever you two were together in the dorm haha. However, Ruggie will notice how Jack seems a lot more upbeat than usual and Jack's been talking about you more and more often

Epel

Probably the only one who's first reaction wasn't "wait I thought you would never ask me out"

He really admires how you're not afraid to talk to anyone about your passions and how you're basically the only one who's not scared of Vil. You two also share a lot of hobbies so it was nice getting to be around you, and that sentiment kept growing until it developed into a crush

Epel didn't really doubt that you two were close, but he was surprised a little bit when you confessed you wanted to date him. He's also the one to take it without becoming too flustered. He'll give you a big hug and say he wanted to tell you first but you beat him to it. After that, he might ask if you're free that afternoon to go on your first date — he'll be driving a magical wheel!

He's super happy you confessed to him and he'll be writing about the first date to his family. You will likely be invited to Harveston for one of the school breaks, it'll be a lot of fun!

Sebek

He literally practiced his confession to you multiple times, wondered if he should write it in a letter and just slip it in your bag, but here you were just confessing without any script and just making it super smooth.

Sebek was a blushing mess when that happened, honestly he had no idea how to respond! He had a crush on you for a while, and even if Lilia and the others teased him about it he was in denial that he had a crush on you. Who knows, maybe you two bumped heads at first but grew to become friends. Either way, he was like "no way I have a crush, I need to focus on academics...BUT WHAT IF I LIKE THEM!"

Sebek will stutter a bit before giving you his more formal "I accept your offer for a date!" He sounds uptight, but you know that he's doing this to not become more flustered than he already is. Pull him into a hug and he'll become as red as Riddle when he's angry haha. Either way, he feels his heart racing and his mind is just going so fast. Like omg is this a dream?

You two will find a date that works well for you two and when you two go back to your dorms, he's just shaking from how happy he is. Silver might ask what happened and Sebek won't tell him, even if he's grinning from ear to ear. Lilia, however, saw the whole thing and will tell Silver and Malleus about Sebek's new date haha

At least for pomni while shes getting used to things. Though your gentle and kind demeanor really helps ease things along, and pomni finds herself comfortable around you!

Sam

Sam is trans, I believe he came out at a young age and while jodi was confused at first and thought that he was going through a phase she eventually came around and has became really supportive of Sam and his transition.

As Sam got older he made friends with Sebastian and Abigail, he didn't intentionally come out to either of them but rather forgot about it and casually mentioned one day how much periods suck only for them all to go silent before Abigail broke the tension with a "fuck yeah they do" before ranting about how period products should be free. Sebastian came up to him a bit later and gave him a hug before telling him how he was glad Sam was comfortable enough to tell them (even if it was an accident)

Shane

I think that Shane is also trans however it took him far longer to realise, accept himself and then come out.

When he went to live with Marnie, Marnie had been expecting a girl rather than the scruffy broken man that showed up however she very quickly got over it and did her best to try make him feel safe and comfortable. Shane had expected Marnie to turn him away however when she instead hugged him and told him how glad she was to see him and how big he had gotten he broke down crying.

Over time Shane accepts his gender identity more and also comes to accept his bisexuality, he eventually starts therapy after Harvey refered him and starts to improve his mental health and even gets sober. After talking with Marnie he quits his job at JoJa to start working with her at the Ranch, raising his chickens and enjoying his life.

Sebastian

Sebastian is autistic, he was diagnosed fairly young and while Robin did her best to support him she was too busy with work to really build a relationship with him. When she remarried and moved to stardew with Demitrius and got pregnant with maru Sebastian felt isolated especially with demitrius's favouritism of his daughter.

Sebastian never hated Maru and while I don't think he will ever be that close with her, he doesn't blame her for Robin and Demitrius's actions.

Overtime he became friends with Abigail, with him bonding with her over their mutual distaste of their parents. The pair then also became friends with Sam through a mutual love of music (though more of an obsession on Sam's part)

Sebastian started developing feelings for Sam early on into their relationship though they weren't that strong, more of a casual crush, however as they got closer and he came to trust Sam more they grew stronger and when Sebastian took him out for a ride on his motorcycle Sam ended up just blurting out that he was in love with him, with Sebastian responding that he loved him too. (Abigail noticed them holding hands the next day and congratulated them both for "taking so fucking long")

Harvey

Harvey is a bisexual man, his sexuality has never really bothered him and he accepted it quickly however I think he is probably on the aromantic spectrum. Not any specific identity but rather he has a complicated relationship with romance and romantic feelings for people.

While his dreams of being a pilot never came to fruition he moved to pelican town and set up the clinic, he wasn't that torn up about it and became far more interested in the engineering of planes rather than the idea of piloting one. He's also a total history nerd.

Alex

Alex is also bisexual but with a preference for men, he had alot of internalised homophobia and while he loved Haley growing up with a 'girl best friend' had resulted in everyone around them expecting them to be dating or to start dating even if they insisted that their relationship was platonic.

Evelyn was never too bothered about his sexuality however when Alex accidentally slipped to George that he thought one of the gridball players was handsome George had told him that it wasn't right for him to think that. While George would eventually come around to accept Alex's sexuality it still puts a significant strain on their relationship.

The first person Alex came out to was Haley, after she came round for dinner one night George and Evelyn had talked about how good of a housewife Haley would be, how they'd make such a good couple, ect; all while the pair looked extremely uncomfortable with Haleys eyes looking considerably damp at the mention of her being a housewife.

After dinner they both went to Alex's room where Haley started crying and told Alex she was sorry but that she could never be that for him, Alex (also crying at this point) hugged her and told her he never expected her to be. Once they both stopped crying, sat on the floor of Alex's room in silence, Alex quietly spoke out that he thinks something is wrong with him continuing to talk about how he knows that he probably should have a crush on her but instead he can't stop looking at the poster of the strong armed gridball players he has up. (It took Haley a moment to get it, once she did she harshly told him that there wasn't anything wrong with him before muttering out about how if he was wrong then she was too. After that Alex noticed how much she stared at the purple haired girl who seemed to always be staring back)

Over the course of a couple months, you’d developed a crush on the barista at the local coffee shop who’d specifically invited you to this party. Of course you had to come, not only for Jisung, but it excited you to be able to have one of those classic youthful experiences like going to university parties.

You knew how to have fun, but you also knew your friends would rely on you to be the sober one and keep them out of trouble. Being the only one sober at one of these parties definitely was not going to happen. You also struggled with getting out of your comfort zone evident with the twinges of anxiety stabbing in your gut as you stared at the frat house overflowing with lights, music, and people from your friend, Felix’s car.

Your breathing started to get heavier as you clutched the edges of your seat at the thought of joining the noise, but Felix put a comforting hand on your shoulder.

“Hey, it’s okay,” his soothing deep voice ceased the buzzing in your ears, and he offered you a comforting smile. “You can do this. And I’ll stay by you for as long as you need.”

“I know,” you groaned and leaned your head back against the headrest. “Thank you, Lix. I’ll try not to keep you from having too much fun.”

“We’re going to have fun no matter what we do. If we join in with the people, or find our own space to party.” Felix laughed a little and wiggled in his seat to mimic the dancing he would do at your mini party.

You laughed along with him feeling a little more relaxed before another voice piped up, “Is Jisung invited to this space?” Seungmin asked, smirking a little and leaning in from the middle backseat to properly insert himself in the conversation.

Your ears started to heat up once Seungmin mentioned his name, and you could feel the butterflies building in your stomach. Felix shot him a playful look before turning back to you, “I’m sure he’d say yes.”

“Oh my god,” you laughed and your hands flew to cover your face. “How about we just go to the party first and then worry about Jisung?”

“Sounds good to me, let’s go!” Seungmin answered before enthusiastically climbing out of the back seat.

Felix started working at the coffee shop a couple months ago which is how he met Jisung. They became quick friends, and Felix wanted to introduce you, joking that he’d found your ideal type. One day when you were ordering your coffee, Felix was already bringing you up to Jisung in the corner of the shop while cleaning.

Before you knew it, Jisung was calling you over to chat, and you couldn’t help but feel a slight blush creep up on you when you realized Felix was right. He was your ideal type. He had a brilliant smile that left you a bit dazed and unaware of the matching one you now wore. It lit up his whole face, and he radiated a certain charming quality that made you feel like you’ve already been friends for years. He had fluffy black hair that fell over his beautiful deep brown eyes that focused on you like you were the only person present.

“Hey, I’m Jisung. Felix was just telling me about you. You must be… y/n.”

Oh, the way he said your name. Say it again. “Yeah, hi. Felix has told me a bit about you too.” Your face felt warm. Please don’t be blushing.

“Oh, really?” He quirked an eyebrow and looked back at Felix who was already slipping away to the back. “Yo, Felix! Where’re you going?” Felix pretended not to hear as the door swung closed behind him, and Jisung turned back to you laughing. His whole face scrunched up as he laughed which caused his cheeks to look even puffier. “Well if it was in the same way he was talking about you, then I’m sure it was all good things.”

“Felix is such a sweetheart. He just likes to talk a lot apparently. But yes, all good things. I think he really likes working with you.”

He propped his elbows on the high table beside him, and leaned closer to you. “He’s a pretty cool guy. Have you been friends for long?”

You found yourself moving forward a little towards Jisung on the other side of the table. “Yeah, all through university actually.”

“Ah, so you go to the university here? What’s your major?”

“I major in biology. What about you? Do you go there?”

“Yeah, I’m a music major,” he dropped his gaze for a second looking a little shy before asking more about you. “What do you want to do after uni?”

“I wish I was talented enough to be a music major. I was thinking-“ you were cut off before you could finish by Jisung’s boss calling him over to talk.

He gave you an apologetic smile before starting to move away, “it was nice to meet you, y/n.” You really like how he said your name. He walked off to his boss while you said goodbye and waved a little.

After that first encounter with Jisung, Felix picked up on the fact that you were attracted to him. Each time you came to the coffee shop, Felix immediately asked if you wanted to speak with Jisung before leaving to fetch him for you. You weren’t the best at picking up signs, but was Jisung flirting with you? He was always smiling at you, and he seemed interested in asking you questions about yourself. And the way he spoke kind of low and casual seemed… different.

But he was probably used to charming people in order to get tips when making coffee. Why were you any different? That was until Felix mentioned one day that Jisung had called you pretty. You were having a studying session in your dorm with each of you studying your own subjects separately since Felix was a different major too. He had gotten tired of the textbooks and decided to start talking about things that happened at work when he so casually mentioned it. You were so flattered and giddy in that moment that you maybe had a chance.

As Felix and Jisung became closer, Jisung started to hang out with him outside of class. Felix decided not to tell you this when he invited you to karaoke night at the apartment he was sharing with your other friends Seungmin and Hyunjin. Even though you felt like the only one out of the group who wasn’t gifted musically, they still made it fun. Often they opted to sing in a silly manner anyway, but Seungmin did occasionally belt out a ballad that left you all in awe.

You arrived at the apartment when Jisung was the first to notice waving at you from the couch, “Y/n! How are you?”

You tried to laugh a little to hide your nervousness as you weren’t expecting to see him there. “Jisung, hey! I didn’t know you were coming.”

“Hope you don’t mind,” a slight smirk was present as he gazed up at you. You wish you knew him a little more to tell if these flirtatious mannerisms were special or not.

Staying in your comfort zone entailed that you shied away from people and kept to yourself, but you got sick of always having missed opportunities. You’d promised to yourself to take those chances even when anxiety latched onto your shoulders and tried to drag you back into yourself. With Jisung it felt even easier to keep that promise.

So without thinking, you plopped down on the couch next to him, “not at all.” You replied.

He once again leaned in closer to you as he did when you spoke like he was hanging onto every word. That was when the other boys walked in to greet you.

“Y/n, when did you get here?” Felix asked, giving you a smile that said he already knew why you hadn’t tried to find him first like normally. Seungmin and Hyunjin shuffled in the room soon after, both taking seats in front of the couch by your feet.

“Just walked in, actually. Jisung surprised me.”

“Yeah, I invited him because I found out that he can rap,” Jisung’s eyes widened, but the smile never left his face. “He can freestyle too.” Now Jisung’s smile faltered slightly.

“Uh, I think I’ll just stick to the karaoke for now. I’m not that great at freestyle.” He was shaking his head, but his eyes shifted to you once he heard you giggling.

“Aw, but you have to, please?” You asked, amused at the thought.

“Maybe, maybe.”

Felix clapped his hands to get everyone’s attention again, and you saw Hyunjin jump, startled at your feet. “Felix,” He gasped, clutching his heart.

“Sorry, I need everyone to focus to choose a song.” He said while lifting his eyebrows at you.

“No need. I already know,” Seungmin chimed in. He got up from his spot and pulled up the song before handing a microphone to you. “This was the song you were listening to the other day right, y/n?”

“Uh, yeah… why?”

“Because, you’re going to sing it. With Jisung.” He handed another microphone to Jisung.

“Wait, why only us?” You rushed out to ask once the realization set in.

“Because you’re the only one who knows this song, and it’s a faster song. I’m sure Jisung would be the only one able to still keep up without knowing the song since he’s a rapper.” Seungmin shrugged like he didn’t just make up the lamest, most see- through excuse to push you and Jisung together.

Jisung laughed a little, “sounds like a challenge. I like it.”

“But!” Seungmin said, still not finished, “it’s actually a competition, go!”

Without any time to reject what he said, he played the song and the opening was playing through the sound bar. From the many times you’d sang this song, your body instantly reacted and you started. You could hear Jisung struggling to pick up on the rhythm of the song, but once he did, he managed to sing along like he’d heard it as many times as you. The rapping part came up and you stumbled over the words a little bit while Jisung really was in his element. He not only rapped along to the song, but he added his own flavor to the lyrics as well.

Once the song had wrapped up, you had doubled over in laughter from amusement and embarrassment while Felix, Seungmin, and Hyunjin applauded. You turned to look at Jisung who was already looking at you and clapping for you.

“Stop, you clearly won.” You said playfully.

“Yep, Jisung won!” Seungmin declared while Felix and Hyunjin tried to defend you.

“No way, it was all y/n!” Jisung argued.

No one came to an agreement on who actually won, but you continued on with karaoke. Each taking turns or sometimes there’d be a duet or another competition. Seungmin especially loved putting people against each other. You ended the karaoke night by having ditched the microphone to everyone just belting out the lyrics instead. Everyone’s voices were a little raspy and worn out from prior singing, but no one cared. You danced around the living room with your friends and sang along while sounding like a cacophony.

Eventually, the karaoke night shifted into dancing lessons from Felix. He was doing a tiktok dance that caught your attention, so you asked him to teach you. He tried teaching everyone, but Hyunjin groaned and said he’d rather do a real dance. In his dance class, they had been learning Latin dances, specifically cumbia, so he decided to teach that with Felix instead. You were always enthusiastic to learn new things, and while you weren’t a particularly skilled dancer, that didn’t stop you from doing it for fun.

Felix taught Jisung the dance first explaining that he’d be the lead first before showing Jisung to be the lead. Hyunjin did the same with Seungmin which meant you were standing to the side recording each pair trying not to laugh. “Hey, don’t laugh. This is going to be you in a second,” Jisung teased you while trying to get the footwork of the dance. He picked it up relatively quickly, not even needing Felix to teach him the lead before asking to try himself. He wasn’t a dancer like how clearly Felix and Hyunjin were, but he still moved fluidly and light on his feet.

“Very good, now show y/n. I need some water.” Felix panted before walking off. Jisung carded his fingers through his messy hair which just fell back into his eyes as he approached you.

He held out both of his hands for you to take, “I told you. Are you ready?” He asked, lowering his voice. You tried to shake off your nerves as you took his hands and allowed him to lead you through the dance.

He showed you the basic steps before you actually started the dance, but soon you were able to just give in to the music and let him lead you. He’d pull you close into him and then spin you around. You felt more dizzy from being so close to him and holding his hands than you did from the actual spinning. Him engulfing you was intoxicating. Every touch lingered on your skin. The dance was quite fun, and you hadn’t even noticed when the music stopped. He spun you one last time before the dance came to a stop. You gazed into his sparkling eyes and felt everything else had come to a stop as well. There was no denying it now. You had feelings for Han Jisung.

At the realization, you could feel your pulse speed up. You stepped away from Jisung and looked around the room to find your other two friends had left as well. “Wow, did they really just ditch us?” You attempted humor after feeling the shift in the room hoping he didn’t notice the shake in your voice.

“Maybe they went to get water too? Come on, do you want some?” You could swear you saw his hand lift like he was going to reach for you again before he just smiled and headed for the kitchen.

The next time you saw Jisung would be when he had personally invited you to the party. It was a bit late at night, but Felix and Hyunjin were in desperate need of some coffee. They were working on a routine together and needed to have it perfected for the evaluation in a couple of days, so they turned to you to save them with caffeine. You’d promised to go on a coffee run only if they promised to actually get some rest some time later tonight (more likely early morning). You really didn’t mind since the barista was pretty cute anyway.

As soon as you stepped through the door and the little bell attached to the top rang, Jisung’s head snapped up to see you. Excitement took over his features as he waved you over. “What brings you here at ten o’clock at night?” He asked, leaning across the counter slightly.

“I know how it looks,” you laughed, “but it’s not for me. Felix and Hyunjin have to stay up late tonight and need a little help.”

“Likely excuse…” he gave you a fake suspicious look before his thoughts seemed to shift elsewhere. “Why do you never stay when you get coffee?”

“Jisung, really, it’s not for me-“

“No, I mean like the other times. You always get it to- go… I don’t get to see you much,” he bit his lip slightly. The mood changed faster than you could blink. You hoped that Jisung could feel the tension as well, but he walked away for a moment to start making the coffee. You were a little relieved since it gave you time to process what exactly he meant.

When he came back, he handed you the coffee and rang them up not caring to finish the previous topic. You took your receipt and were reaching for the coffee when he spoke up again, “hey, there’s this party next Friday that you should go to. I mean, Felix was already going, so I’m not sure if you were. But you should. Maybe we can dance again.”

“Sure,” you answered without hesitation. Without remembering why you didn’t go to parties in the first place. Without caring about any of that at the moment since it was Jisung who was asking.

“Okay,” the smile he usually wore around you expanded, and you felt like you just did something right. “It was good to see you, y/n.” He spoke softer.

“I’ll see you soon, Jisung.” You turned on your heel and left the coffee shop excited to tell Felix what had just happened.

Felix linked his arm with yours once you all filed out of his car. Hyunjin was already inside somewhere since he felt he owed something to the frat. Something about one of the boys complimenting a drawing he was doing by the quad one day, and it lifted his spirits so much he vowed to return the favor. Seungmin, who everyone assumed didn’t like parties, was already many steps in front of you eager to join the crowd. God bless Felix for staying with you because you were already feeling a little shaky.

You crossed into the threshold of the house, and the house was brimming with activity. Drinks, cups, snacks were scattered all along the house, and even though you couldn’t see anyone smoking, the air was hazy with it. There were people dancing on tables, tucked into corners making out, drunkenly yelling at each other, but you couldn’t spot your barista among these people. Seungmin was already headed for the kitchen, and Felix pulled you along which was fine because you definitely were going to need a drink.

“Oh my god! Y/n! You actually came!” Hyunjin slightly pushed Felix off of you to shake your shoulders. “I’m just so happy you’re actually at a party with us.” You laughed as you thought actual tears were pricking up in his eyes. He was clearly already drunk with a light flush across his cheeks.

“Yes, I’m here. I’m here,” you coaxed his hands off of you while you looked around him for a drink.

“Y/n, please do a shot with me. It’ll be sooo fun. Pleaseee,” he turned around and poured four shots of tequila without waiting for you to answer. He thrust the shot into your hand, slightly spilling some of the alcohol on your hand before passing out the rest to Felix and Seungmin. You each clinked your plastic shot glasses and said cheers (Hyunjin being the loudest of all) before dumping the tequila down your throat. You usually took shots well, so you let the alcohol coat your throat before going for another one, “damnnn, y/n isn’t playing tonight!”

You downed the next shot before speaking, “have you seen Jisung?”

“Jisung… Jisung… Jisunggg,” Hyunjin repeated like the name was foreign on his tongue. “Oh, yeah, I think he’s… upstairs… with… some girl,” he said the last part a little quieter as the realization struck him a little too late.

“Oh… well, that’s fine. Just thought he wanted to hang out,” you tried to mask your disappointment as you poured yourself a proper drink this time.

“Y/n, Im sorry, i know-“ Felix placed a hand on your back seeing right through your reaction.

“No, it’s okay. Really. It was just a fun little crush anyway. I didn’t have any real expectations.” You gave them a little smile to really sell the performance and sipped on your drink to avoid their sympathetic looks.

The alcohol finally started taking an effect, warming your body. You could feel your muscles relaxing and your heart get a little lighter from the bombshell dropped on you. This encouraged you to drink a little more before Felix asked you to slow down. “We have all night, y/n. No need to do all the drinking right now. So what do you feel like doing?”

You were really looking forward to dancing with Jisung. You had even continued practicing the dance that Felix had taught you to be able to keep it up longer the next time with him. But maybe it meant more to you than it did to him. You were tired of reading too much into things and decided that you wanted to dance anyway. With or without Jisung. “Let’s dance!”

This earned a whoop from Hyunjin before he eagerly pulled you into the living room where everyone was dancing. Felix and Seungmin followed along, and the next moment, you were all dancing together. Well, Felix was dancing. You and Hyunjin were holding hands, jumping around and shaking your hips while Seungmin had left. Probably embarrassed to be seen with you guys and wanted to find a lay himself.

The dancing continued until you absolutely couldn’t anymore. Hyunjin's hair was drenched in sweat like he had just taken a shower, and the curls from your hair had started to fall. You and Hyunjin leaned against each other giggling and breathing heavily while Felix left to get everyone water. “Hyunjinnie, wait here, please. I need to go to the bathroom.”

“Ew, gross. Go. I’ll tell Felix where you went.”

“Thanks,” you giggled while stumbling your way through the crowd to find the bathroom. You couldn’t find anything not locked downstairs, so you approached the stairs to continue your search on the second floor. You placed your foot on the first step, feeling yourself sober up a little as you remembered what might be occurring up there. You repeated your words from earlier about it being just a fun crush before forcing yourself to continue climbing up the stairs.

Thankfully, the first person you ran into at the top of the stairs was able to direct you to the bathroom at the end of the hall that managed to be unoccupied. Once you finished and were leaving the bathroom, a couple of doors down a girl with a tense face left one of the bedrooms. You didn’t think much of it before you started back for the stairs and heard a familiar voice call out for you, “y/n?” Jisung. Your name sounded like you were hearing it for the first time when he said it. Your first reaction was to turn to greet him before you realized that girl was probably the same one he had disappeared with. You continued walking like you didn’t hear him.

You found Seungmin near the stairs and slung yourself over his shoulder even though you knew he’d be mad. You needed to act like you were busy in a conversation to avoid Jisung. Poor Seungmin had been talking to some girl when you came over, and he turned his head to glare at you. “Y/n, what are you doing?”

“Minnie, you disappeared on us. I thought you wanted to dance?” You moved so you now stood beside him and the girl to be able to face him.

“What are you talking about? I always-“ he didn’t finish when he noticed the figure approaching you out of the corner of his eye. “Of course, I wanted to dance. You just looked like you were having fun with Hyunjin.” He took the hint and engaged in the conversation.

“Hey, Jisung,” the girl Seungmin was talking to acknowledged him, and Seungmin cringed that your plan to ignore him failed.

“Hey, y/n, I’m glad you actually came.” Jisung was only looking at you. You didn’t want to look. You didn’t want to fall for him again. “I hope you saved a dance for me.” He continued once it seemed like you weren’t going to speak up.

“Actually, it was my turn to dance with her,” Seungmin said, noticing how uncomfortable you were next to him.

“Oh… um, actually I wanted to talk to you, y/n… please,” you couldn’t help yourself from glancing at him as he said please, and of course, his doe eyes won.

“Sure, but we need to hurry because I don’t want to keep Seungmin waiting for too long,” You sighed and let Jisung take your wrist. You didn’t want to feel as happy as you did when his fingers brushed your skin.

You didn’t have any right to feel jealous or hurt that Jisung wanted to have a casual hookup at the party. He was a grown up, and he could do what he wanted. You just had to accept the fact that you really were just friends, and all the little flirtations were just innocent. You should’ve known better than to look any further into something when you’d both explicitly called each other friends. It was just a silly little hope that his lingering gazes meant more, that your banter meant more, that you meant more.

Still, your heart leapt into your throat as you let Jisung take you somewhere more private to talk. That was until he led you into the bedroom that he was just in with that other girl. You frustratedly sighed before you noticed that the bed was made up, in fact it looked untouched.

“Are you okay?” Jisung asked as he closed the door. “If you’re uncomfortable, we can go somewhere else. I know how it looks bringing you to the bedroom, but I just wanted somewhere a little quieter to talk.” He moved a little closer to you, but his hands stayed by his side as if to prove that he really meant no funny business.

“Y-yeah, this is okay…” you suddenly felt very nervous, but you wanted to know what Jisung was so eager to tell you. Has he noticed your crush, and he’s here to reject you softly? Or maybe…? But then what was he doing with the other girl?

Jisung’s smile was soft and gentle like he really wanted you to feel at ease. He took a few more steps closer until only a couple of inches separated your bodies. This is when you really took in his appearance. He was wearing a black sleeveless tank top that showed off his arms. He looked strong, and your hands itched to reach out and feel the smooth curves of the muscles. The shirt was tucked into a pair of black leather pants with a belt that showed off his lean body. His hair was no longer in his eyes, but his bangs were swept up in a side part that framed his angelic face. He looked dangerous but safe all at the same time. Tonight he had siren eyes that were locked onto you like he wanted to consume you. He gazed down at you with heavy- lids, but you could see vulnerability in his black eyes. His soft lips parted with the words that were stuck on his tongue.

He leaned a little towards you as he got ready to speak, and you dared to close the space just a little more. You could almost feel his breath ghost across your cheek and his body heat radiate onto you. You felt completely sober now; your head was clear as you were trying to memorize every moment of this. “Y/n, I meant what I said at the coffee shop. I don’t get to see you much, but I want to.”

Your breath hitched, and your eyes widened slightly. Was he really confessing? “Jisung…”

“Y/n, I know you feel something here… I hope you want to see me too.” You felt his hand slide against yours, and your whole body felt like it was on fire. But you needed answers. You jerked your hand away, and Jisung’s face fell a bit, his brow slightly furrowed.

“I- I know you were in here with another girl before me…” you said quietly. You were too scared to shatter the illusion of this moment, but you had to look away. You look down at your shoes that we’re almost touching Jisung’s. That didn’t help in reminding how close you were to having him.

You could see Jisung tense. “I can explain… I- it’s true that I slept with her. But I promise, I didn’t tonight, and I haven’t in a while. Not since that night we danced together. Something changed. I couldn’t sleep with her anymore, and tonight I officially broke it off… It was just casual. I thought I’d always want just casual, but… something changed.”

You finally look up again, and Jisung was dangerous only by name now. He looked addicting, he acted care- free, but now he was completely exposed to you. You knew this must all be new to him and admitting these things to you must have taken a lot of effort. This time you reached out to take his hand. Your palm sliding across his warm skin until you laced your fingers together. He chewed on his bottom lip anxiously as he waited for you to say something. “I do feel it too… something changed for me that night too.”

You breathed out and finally closed the distance between you two. He released his bottom lip that was now plump from how he’d been working at it, and he licked his lips. His eyes flicked down to your lips, and you could feel your body coil in excitement. Please kiss me, you hope your eyes said it all for you. His other hand snaked up your back and left a trail of sparks all the way up to where it came to rest on the nape of your neck. You could feel his touch still on you even after it was long gone. His thumb softly stroked the back of your neck before he pulled you into him. Your lips parted, and he stopped when his lips were just hovering over yours. “Can I…?” He almost whispered. His deep voice caused your eyes to flutter shut as you shook your head yes.

His lips gently pressed against yours as he slowly savored the kiss. Your knees almost buckled underneath you as this is what you’ve wanted to happen for so long. But you willed yourself to keep standing as the kiss grew in intensity. You gently caressed his jaw with your free hand as he started to kiss you harder. You didn’t care if you ran out of breath. You didn’t need air. You needed him. His tongue flicked over your bottom lip, and you slightly whimpered. You cringed in your head, but quickly forgot about it as he sucked on your bottom lip. The fingers in your hair gripped your head just a little as he also quietly groaned. He gently bit your bottom lip and slipped his tongue into your mouth. His tongue slid over yours as he wanted to taste all of you. He continued exploring your mouth until you both absolutely needed to gasp for air.

You stared back at him again as both of your chests heaved. His lips were slick and swollen from your kiss, and it looked as if a slight blush had sprinkled across his cheeks. Your heart warmed at the sight before you leaned up to kiss him again. And again. And again. Never getting over the feeling of his soft lips on yours, and how you could feel how much he wanted you. From the way your lips moved against each other to the hands that remained intertwined at your side to his other hand that didn’t stop exploring over your body.

As you kissed, his hand brushed through your hair, across your jaw, down your shoulder, up your side, over your spine, gripped your hip. He was restless in touching you, and you relished in the feeling of being wanted. Being wanted by him. You weren’t sure how long you had stayed in that moment, kissing, but eventually you came back to your senses. Seungmin was probably wondering why you hadn’t come back, and so was Hyunjin who thought that you were just going to the bathroom. You felt bad since you knew that they were worried about you, but they would understand once you told them why, right?

You looped your arms around Jisung’s neck while both of his hands rested on your hips, “I have to go now…” you pouted.

“Please don’t.” He rested his forehead against yours and mirrored your pout.

“My friends are probably looking for me. But this isn’t over, okay?”

Jisung smirked, “you still want more?”

“Don’t act like you don’t.” You teased and pulled away from him.

He caught your wrist and pulled you back to him, “of course I do, baby.”

Your stomach knotted at the new pet name. You weren’t expecting it so fast, and you had to fight back a smile. “I'm serious, baby. I have to go.”

You giggled when Jisung gaped at you using the pet name back like he didn’t even notice that he had said it first. Taking your opportunity, you pecked his lips and walked to the door. “I’ll… see you at the coffee shop?”

“What? You’re not even going to call or something?” he all but whined.

You giggled and winked, “okay, I’ll call you.” You slipped out of the room to go find your friends

they should have left august have genuine feelings for day imo like we already saw him kinda disappointed it was not a date with mork... the whole kiss thing felt so wrong they did day (and august too tbh) dirty

to start off, thank you for indulging me with a ltts message 🥰 also I hope this isn't too long, i havent had the time to seriously think about this episode so this is my chance 💓

throughout the episode I began wondering if august was a legitimate contender and the thought bothered me for a few reasons: i had been under the impression the plot isn't really about that; that there would be no space to fit in a love triangle of this size if other conflicts were to be explored and resolved. basically that mork and day would have enough on their plate without august in the picture and focusing on those two would only slow down the development of the main couple. I did find the thought of august's intentions being serious intriguing though, a bit frustrating, yes, but also interesting.

now, I had a bit of trouble understanding your point but im guessing you mean we already saw that day was disappointed the party wasn't a date so we're aware of his feelings and they are not aimed at august anymore? so it wouldn't have been an issue if august just continued liking day because day doesn't like him that way anymore, right? because I get that, it wouldn't have been the first time that's happened on screen haha but also that's exactly why I'm not that fond of the idea. day and august having a mutual crush and that going for a few episodes? THAT I find intriguing, an actual relationship trying to figure itself out while it's doomed by the narrative because it isn't the main romance.

but august having actual romantic feelings for day and stepping aside (because the show wants this couple dealt with by the end of the first half, apparently, and it would have cut him off somehow) would be something both sad and also, in my humble opinion, redundant. I've seen it before, it's just a bummer for everyone involved and I don't need it here.

what the plot actually did was very nice, as weird as it sounds. it gave us a character who loves his mate a lot. I do not doubt that august has strong feelings for day. everyone is pissed at him at the moment, day is hurt because there was pity, mork is angry because there was lack of consideration but that boy cares for day, a lot. i suppose there are feelings of guilt, they were on the court together when day lost his vision and then he didn't contact august for over a year. august probably felt some sort if personal responsibility for day's condition or for his behaviour towards him while they were partners, for the fact day felt he couldn't tell him the truth. so there is guilt and there is pity but also there is affection for a friend, for a partner, for the person alongside which you aimed for your dreams. they have a bond (and im sure people have expressed a lot about their sync and dynamic that I haven't picked up on but a bond is undeniable).

august tried to be a better person, a warm one, someone day doesn't recognise. he tried to be everything he wasn't before because thats what he decided day wants and needs. the night at the bar he was already feeling bad about leaving day to hang. on a side note, while the episode was airing i ran to check whether the cast was there that night and if it was on the same arm. it was. august didnt lie and im paranoid lmao anyways

the scene was crushing for mork and us, sure, but it was also very hard for august. he had had an accident, he couldn't contact day and still went as soon as he could after midnight. when he heard the confession he ran which honestly felt like an appropriate reaction - indicating he was there would make day embarrassed and pretending to come in later also wouldn't work because his partner who recently came back into his life with shocking news after ghosting him for a year suddenly confessed he's in love with him. while he's exhausted and hurt. of course the kid needed time to process what the fuck is going on! and he came back the very next morning, ready to make things right.

the issue stems from the fact he had no clue what right is, his underdeveloped brain told him to be a better friend than before but it went too far off in the direction of that thought and landed at "be what he wants you to be to a T" which includes, well, a romantic interest. and that's just not something you can force but alas, earnest, stupid august tried to check off everything on the "make day happy" list.

that boy ran off crying (I would too if mork glared at me like a maddog but still) because he kissed and got kissed by someone he didn't want such contact with ( the reciprocated kiss was A Lot for him) and then realised he'd hurt the person he wanted to satisfy in every way. his words indicate he didn't intend the kiss to be just one, that he wanted to actively change the way he feels about day, that he considered being his boyfriend. I figure he truly realised that was not an option while the kiss was happening hence why the second one had him running away again.

we know august is impulsive and earnest, his intentions were coming from a good place but he couldn't plan to save his life. he acts with his heart and so he was relying on falling for day till the end with no backup plan. it's either that or he knew before the kiss and intended it to be a single gift and I can't tell which is worse. in any case he was aware of the big possibility him and days weren't going to work out so his actions were majorly irresponsible.

the kiss had me screaming NOO literally and then the second one nearly had me gripping my hair, idek what sounds I made from the beginning till the end of that scene but "felt wrong" is something I can understand though it didd feel wrong but maybe not in the way you mean?

i didn't know nor suspect august's intentions and thought process so the kiss felt real to me and though I was against it as an avid morkday shipper, I didn't think that narratively it was bad. day was done dirty a 100% (though he gets mork acting on his feelings finally so..glass half full..?). let's not forget that mork actively supported day's perception of the situation as flirting - not his fault, that's what august was doing after all - but it's something that made the fall that much worse. day was getting hyped up by mork the way he was by gee ABOUT mork before that. he gets affected by his friends' opinions because he relies on them to read the other's body language and intentions. so there is this feeling of helplessness not only because of the pity that guided august's actions but the fact he couldn't assess the situation himself. so yes, for this and many other reasons, day was done dirty by every definition of the phrase.

but as for august and the plot I'm not so sure. august as a character is, to me, much more interesting as this confused and, frankly, unintelligent young man whose heart seems to be in the right place..? but whose actions are totally misguided than if he were, let's say, a good guy finally acting on his crush after years. I suppose he could've stopped before the kiss and told day the truth and maybe day would be a bit disappointed but definitely more forgiving and less heartbroken..

but then how would we see that day can help mork tame his anger with just a touch of the hand? and we needed an act so grotesque that would lead them to have a conversation that makes mork want to scream "I do not pity you, I haven't pitied you for a second, you are so strong and smart and loveable, i love you, how could you ever focus on a nobody like him when you are everything, you deserve so much more, how could you not know that, why did i ever let him near you, i should have never allowed for this to happen, i love you so much god I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU" (yes thats what those eyes at the rooftop said, idk what yall heard.)

i believe the charm of this scene and this whole conflict is that no one there is acting out of malice. it's just people doing what they think is right. mork stepping aside was not the right move technically but it fits his character and the plot as well. imo august wasn't done dirty, he was made interesting and also he isn't a bad guy. he did some really harmful shit but by the end of the scene i didn't feel an ounce of malice from him. there could still be love between the two but one that's not based around day walking on eggshells and one that doesn't rely on august to be something he is not. when they arent forced by the outside to be in close proximity and make things work, when they can just tease each other comfortably without taking all of the other's happiness and well-being as their own responsibility, thats when they could have a nice casual friendship with a lot of appreciation for the other. i believe him and day would reconcile at some point in the future when day is ready to forgive and august is ready to stop running.

As we know our boy is bisexual

He’s also autistic but that’s another thing.

He probably realised he liked boys as well as girls when he was like 12 or 13. He developed a small crush on this boy at school who wore denim and leather type jackets and he thought he was so cool. He never revealed anything though because he was too shy and didn’t get along with others.

He didn’t come out until he and his sister were living with their grandparents because while living with their mum he didn’t feel safe enough to reveal that side of him. He was still a little nervous when coming out to his grandparents but he knew that they loved him no matter what.

The first person outside of his family that he came out to was Chris who reassured Ryan that he supported him and he was always here to talk. That and Chris’s support about his school and home life is why Ryan trusts him so much.

He has a few pride pins that he sticks on his jackets or bags. He also has a few pride stickers that Sarah bought him that he likes to stick on his phone case or laptop case.

I think his bi awakening was Sam Winchester in Supernatural (he enjoys supernatural and paranormal things plus Jared Padalecki was one of my big crushes as a kid so I’m including him because I love him)

He like everybody else definitely had a tiny attraction to Nick when he first met him. I just think Nick is the type who attracts a lot of people whether it’s for a long time or just a short crush. Ryan takes one look at him and is like damn he’s good looking.

His attraction to Nick doesn’t last long though because he eventually starts developing feelings for Dylan. He doesn’t like to admit it but he definitely loves those puns and jokes.

One time Jacob after finding out asked Ryan what his type is and then jokingly asked him if he was. Ryan can’t help being blunt and just said no in the most dead pan voice. Nick, Dylan and Kaitlyn who heard all laughed so hard they cried. Ryan was so confused.

All of the campers are supportive of him and Dylan’s sexualities (all the counsellors are queer tbh)

I think he had a non serious relationship with a guy before coming to camp that year due to him saying “Not exactly” to Dylan when he asks if he has a girlfriend but he’d not been feeling the relationship so broke up with him before going to camp but felt conflicted about it but he realised while at camp that he prefers Dylan’s company and has a stronger connection to Dylan.

Sarah definitely is that little sister that isn’t afraid to tease him. She probably says he’s ‘bi himself’ when he’s single and he just rolls his eyes but smiles because it’s just a little fun because she supports him and is only joking.

I think while he is attracted to both he leans more towards men.

He listens to some Queer artists.

I 100% believe that he watched Heartstopper because Dylan asked him to and he actually got really emotional over Nick’s story. He also hates Ben and Harry with a passion and is a Tori stan because he relates to her a bit.

He sometimes struggles with expressing his emotions and being open about his relationships due to his past experiences and trauma from when he was a kid so the first time he really opens up to Dylan and let’s him in is a big moment for him.

The first moment he refers to Dylan as his boyfriend to someone else he feels really content with it. Dylan is absolutely ecstatic but tries to not to get too excited because he doesn’t want to overwhelm him.

If they got married I think they’d either use both last names and hyphenate or he’d take Dylan’s. I think this because I think he’d have complicated feelings over his last name due to his relationship with his mum but also likes his last name because of its connections to his grandparents and sister. He’d be conflicted about it but Dylan would support any decision.

Him and Dylan go on double dates with Nick and Abi or Max and Laura sometimes.

They end up having a daughter when they’re older.

when i was taking my dog out for a walk i thought of a au where richie and eddie meet because they each just so happen to take their dogs out for a walk along the same path. eddie is heading home while richie is just starting, and of course when they cross paths their dogs stop to sniff and say hi.

now in a situation like this, normally richie would make polite conversation with the other dog’s owner so as to not just stand in awkward silence........ except this time he doesn’t say anything, because he is too busy developing a major crush on this guy because he is probably the most handsome man richie’s ever seen. 

after that, richie starts to walk that route every single day, and sure enough every time he crosses paths with mr. super-hot dog-walker and tbh it’s the best part of his day (plus his dog seems to be excited about seeing her new dog friend as well, so it’s a win-win in his eyes). 

meanwhile......... eddie is also developing a lil crush of his own and every day before leaving the house he tells himself “ok. today is the day im ACTUALLY going to say something to that guy. im actually going to talk to him and have a conversation and maybe even flirt. today i will make a move.” except every time he sees richie he just gets so flustered and ends up either saying nothing or some lame comment about the weather or just repeating what he’s already said a hundred times, “seems like our dogs really like each other huh”, and every time eddie walks away from the interaction cursing himself for another failed attempt at flirting

eventually things get rolling when after a long time of these little awkward interactions, richie mentions that there’s a good dog park nearby. “we could go there some time,” he says, hoping that he doesnt sound as nervous as he feels. “you know, to actually let the dogs play with each other.” 

eddie is screaming on the inside but he agrees. “that would be nice,” he says. then, quickly adding: “... for the dogs.” 

so then they make plans and the next day have their first “date” (i mean can you even really call it date) at the dog park hehe

I know this is super random and like a year late, but as the consummate marichat fan, what were your thoughts on Elation?

first of all, apparently there are two definitions of the word “consummate” and until now i only knew the first one. HDNSND

second, i have many thoughts about elation but they are honestly kind of mixed and jumbled!!! On one hand, WHAT AN EPISODE!!!!! it still feels like a fever dream lmao. marichat fell in love and went on a cute little date and he took her up way in the sky with his baton carrying her princess style and then they tango’d over to andre’s and wanted to get Love ice cream and then they had the CUTEST KISS EVER!!!!! nose kiss cheek kiss lip kiss combo are you kidding. Are you KIDDING me. then he was trying to be respectful and not take advantage??? 😭 and she got AKUMATIZED bc she wanted to keep kissing him so bad??? HDJDJD and then the angsty second kiss to break her free omfggggggg people died (im people). the little moment at the end too when they agree to go their separate ways but hug like good friends who are in love. Waaaaa my heart. It was all really really good. I loved it. When I first watched it I kept having to pause and pace around like a madman fhsndn

On the other hand, it was so different from my personal vision of marichat that I wasn’t totally sure how to feel! The essence Marichat to me has always been a friends-to-lovers slowburn, so “sin ship” stuff or fics where they very quickly fall into a relationship against their better judgment have never been my cup of tea. And this episode felt like sort of a tamer, canon-appropriate version of that? It came on so fast and was over just as quickly. marichat ended up being just a one-night fling, basically. which is fine because I i always figured it wouldn’t play a big role in the plot—we got wayyyy more marichat than I ever expected to get! So I’m grateful! I don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth haha. But at the same time I couldn’t help but feel sort of disappointed in how it all played out. because while I’ve always been rooting for reverse crush development, I never truly wanted a “love square flip” in the sense of them completely switching love interests from ladrien to marichat. That idea never felt super authentic to the characters to me. I feel like OG crush is so baked in to the love square, you know? This probably sounds rich coming from such a loud annoying marichat stan lmao but I always think of them as still being partly in love with OG crush underneath it all, even if marichat are together.

Anyway, i guess I just had a hard time processing it at all because I had a very specific vision/preference for how I wanted the love square to play out—which was basically, reverse crush develops simultaneously with OG crush and they have to figure out how to deal with being in love with two people at once, and then at the reveal they get the relief of knowing it was always the same person all along, and of course they fell for them twice. Idk to me that would be the most satisfying culmination of the love square—one of the most interesting romantic plot elements I’ve ever seen! And that’s not how the show writers decided to go. Which is OK. We got so much good love square and there will be more to come. I really have been trying to let go of what was always just my personal preference for the LS. But at the time I couldn’t help but feel it was sort of wasting a lot of potential by going in this direction. And that did kind of sour my experience watching elation. marichat was set up and discarded so quickly, as if to both satisfy the fans and also shut them up lol. like “here, you got your marichat, you animals. and now that door is permanently closed bc we just proved how it would never work.” Hahaha. And tbh maybe that was a necessity! Like the closure of that possibility.

All in all elation was an amazing episode. It just made me sort of sad at the end, watching marichat die within minutes of becoming canon. also at the time there were a bunch of marichat stans being kind of obnoxious and salting on ladrien which also dampened the mood a lot for me. So I felt weirdly sad for a while after watching it, even tho it was such an exciting ride that I’d been looking forward to. I guess I just keep thinking “yes this is what I wanted!! …except not like this tbh”

lol I’m so entitled Im sorry….we ate SO good. Elation will always be iconic. Weredad is still my all-time favorite episode though! :)

my opinions on random “a starless clan” cats as i just finished river

-Nightheart: the angry mommy issues man himself. love him. this is probably the closest we’ll get to a trans character in warriors. also surprised no one mentioned Bristlefrost when he failed his assessments as i remember Bristlefrost failing at least once. they could’ve made a good connection there.

-Honeyfur: pretty design i think, got salty at twigbranch once and haven’t heard from her before or since. 

-Bayshine: a sweetie, good brother-ish figure for Nightheart in my opinion.

-Shellfur: never knew much of anything about him but yay he’s got a gf now. happy for him. 

-Bramblestar: just step down already man. (i know he does, i can’t wait till i get to it).

-Squirrelflight: can’t wait till i get to Squirrelstar!!

-Bumblestripe: a jerk as always.

-Finchlight: a lil too over enthusiastic about the “greatness” of thunderclan. really shows how arrogant they can be tbh.

-Ivypool: wish i heard more from her.

-Fernsong: i wish we saw more of Fernsong with Ivypool. or any Fernsong at all tbh.

-Sparkpelt: i’m not really sure how to feel about her and her relationship with Nightheart. it’s definitely interesting though and something new.

-Cloudtail: him as an elder is amazing.

-Berryheart: Spireclaw’s relationship with her hits too close to home. all i gotta say. also (proceeds to say more anyway) totally Mother Gothel-coded, there’s a pmv of her with “Mother Knows Best” that fits so well. “i’m your mother, and i know you better than you know yourself” (226).

-Sparrowtail: i kinda like how he sorta initially was on Berryheart’s side but now he’s really uncertain about her beliefs. interesting in seeing more about this relationship.

-Spireclaw: love him!! a sweetie! wanna see more of him and Fringewhisker. also interested in the tension with him and Berryheart over this. lowkey kin him.

-Dovewing: she’s not deputy, but i see her as sort of like a clan “princess”, y’know?

-Sunbeam: relate to her a lil, also i think she has the cutest name ever. at first i thought her unrequited crush on Blazefire felt like a repeat of Bristlefrost and Stemleaf but at least Stemleaf was nice. Blazefire was straight up gaslighting her about being concerning about Lightleap “pffft she’s fine bro you’re not the clan leader” aughhh

-Blazefire: this is why you don’t do friends with benefits guys.

-Lightleap: augh she’s so terrible but i love her at the same time. i love how a protagonist’s sibling can finally be explored upon with how the previous events from the broken code affect her psychologically. doing a psychoanalysis on her hehe.

-Gullswoop: haha just a gal who loves gossip. glad a she-cat background character can actually have a personality now. 

-Pouncestep: wish we heard more from her tbh. there’s shadowsight obviously and now the whole lightleap thing but we don’t know much about Pouncestep or how things have affected her. she’s just kinda.. there.

-Leafstar: please just let her rest. i’m begging. 

-Hawkwing: i want him to be leader already, i feel like he would be a good leader with all the character development he’s had in his super edition.

-Splashtail: a nefarious lil guy from what i’ve heard? very interested to see more of him, he reminds me a lot of Hawkfrost. i also have a suspicion that he faked the curled feather sign on page 215. i mean, Frostpaw went with just Splashtail and she heard someone walking around above the moonpool then finds the feather on the path. is it a fake sign did bro just pull a Hawkfrost. —or what if the sign was real but meant for Icewing, as it was a white feather, and that night Frostpaw dreamed about the feathers turning into “birds, whirling around her head like a blizzard” (219).

-Owlnose: just a silly lil guy.

-Mistystar: was arguing and literally fell and died. best death ever. rip the queen. 

-Duskfur: still mad at her over Mistystar’s death tbh. 

-Reedwhisker: poor man. all i gotta say. 

-Havenpelt: i just like her name. 

-Mothwing: if anything happens to her, Blixemi is gonna lose it. 

-Icewing: haha Wings of Fire name. 

-Curlfeather: such a pretty name tbh. she seemed so sweet but i heard she’s actually evil? interested to learn more in the next books. it may make sense, she seemed a little overbearing at times, maybe a cover? also Curlfeather suggesting Frostpaw goes to her den and Frostpaw immediately finding the 5-pointed dock leaf sign there (124-125) is kinda suspicious, i feel like she might’ve faked a sign.

-Jayclaw: died of “unknown causes” is a lil suspicious. right after Curlfeather mentions his death, the book says “a heartbeat later Curlfeather went on more briskly-” (18) and she changes the topic. i’m wondering if Curlfeather killed him after maybe he disagreed with her evil plans? could’ve pulled a Hollyleaf and killed him to keep him mute.

-Frostpaw: poor lil fluffy kid is traumatized, i just wanna give her a big hug.

-overall, this book was amazing and so far i might like this arc even better than the broken code, we’ll have to see

Honestly the whole thing makes me uncomfortable but I don't think that's the case and I'll try to explain it. First off, I HATE that photo/Easter Egg with a passion. Secondly, as it's an Easter Egg I don't consider it canon.

Easter Eggs in games are supposed to be silly and funny or creepy, plus EEs generally aren't supposed to be connected to the plot or canon. They're more of a little challenge/puzzle for the player to figure out hidden Easter eggs, the result is usually intended to give the player a 'lmao what??' or 'wtf' reaction, something that's not meant to be taken seriously. Sometimes it's just something to do to get a hidden trophy.

I did read somewhere that Enrico and Wesker shared the same office, and since Rebecca was on Enrico's team it's possible that he was the one who had the photo, not Wesker. (there's only one S.T.A.R.S office so where was Enrico's team supposed to work??) Additionally, the photo wasn't even developed yet it was just on a film roll; the player had to be the one to develop it (at least in RE2R, idk about the OG RE2). In both RE1 games when it was just Wesker, Chris and Rebecca, when Rebecca joined in the conversation between Chris and Wesker, he didn't hesitate to shoot her, as if he was annoyed about being interrupted by her. If he had an interest in her I imagine it was because she was a threat; she was smart and a medic, if she had the resources she would be able figure out cures/vaccines for viruses. OR he may have wanted her to work for him as a scientist when he bails from Umbrella as she's intelligent enough. He can't work alone he'll need his own team of soldiers and scientists.

But overall no I don't think it's a canon thing. The photo was probably amusing in the OG game at the time but these days it's not so amusing and in bad taste tbh. (it's not something that's aged well imo). I try to ignore/avoid the whole thing altogether but if I had to go with a reason for it I either go with the 'it was Enrico not Wesker that had the photo in the desk drawer' or the Chrisker version; Wesker didn't want Chris to develop an interest in Rebecca (Wesker is the jealous/possessive type) so he took the film roll/photo with the intention to dispose of it but forgot about it or before he could get rid of it he and his team had to go to the mansion. Bc of the idea of Chris getting a crush on her or he might have seen Chris and Rebecca (who was new to S.T.A.R.S) talking one day and it got under his skin, he had particular malice towards her in a territorial/jealousy kind of way.

Also wanna say I don't hate Rebecca! ;; I just really don't like the photo Easter egg and the association it has with Wesker. Wesker can be a creepy bastard sure but I think it's more of an intimidation tactic to be the one in control, nothing more. An 'all bark and no bite' situation. Considering how fruity and high off his ass on hubris/power he was I don't think he actually felt anything for Rebecca. If anything I consider Wesker to be on the ace spectrum and doesn't really feel anything for anybody (with the exception of Chris maybe seeing how obsessed he is with him, romantically/sexually or not). This is how I see Wesker:

Not exactly a request but did you know I took a major math because I was influenced by doctor stone? I saw that you read it recently and tbh I felt such nostalgia, I remember being in tenth grade and watching the first season of the anime and falling in love because I love science and it was potrayed in a simple manner, now I'm doing my first semester in college, oh how time flies~~~

But coming back from my tangent what do you think about Senku x reader where reader challenges Senku to a math battle (I'm projecting tbh because I can do math too Senku!!) And gives Senku a hard time

Like a scenario where Senku knew reader back in school before turning to stone and during that high school time they were his classmate and decided to challenge him to a math battle where they asked questions to each other and scored points if they got it correct and lost points when they got the question incorrect. And to Senkus suprise he actually has a hard time with the questions reader gives him, and this develops into a minor crush because Senku isn't the most romantic in my opinion but would keep the people he finds interesting around him

I mean there must not be a lot of stimulation in this world for him, but then you come along and challenge him to a simple little math battle only to Actually give him a hard time…

I imagine when it’s time for the crew to find a mathematician in the Stone World, his mind goes straight to you, rivaling even him at math….

is it true that logan had a crush on zoey? I read it on the fandom wiki

There was an implied mutual attraction in the show, but I think they dropped that idea around season 3, maybe season 2 (thankfully)

I don't think Logan's crush on Zoey was ever that serious, I think he just found her attractive and wanted to make out with her, same way he wanted to make out with most girls. He grew to like her as a friend later on, and the make out jokes never felt like he meant them since then.

I really believe he fell for Quinn on season 3, so he completely got over any left over attraction for Zoey by then. And she also seemed to drop that as well, way earlier. The fact that they both annoyed the shit out of each other probably helped get rid of it.

You didn't ask about Quinn but I'm gonna talk about Quinn

Before their kiss, Logan described Quinn as "smart, pretty and kinda fun". Those things could apply to Zoey too, so why didn't he fell for Zoey instead? Well he might have said only those things, but those were not the only reasons he fell for Quinn. She's much more than that.

Quinn also annoyed him and challenged him, like Zoey, but he ended up falling for her still (dare I say, because of it). Quinn had other attributes that attracted him, I think Quinn's weirdness/quirkiness and personality played at hand for why he feel for her but not Zoey. Like Erin and Matt mention recently mentioned Quogan have more in common than people think. I think their shared interest in science was something that drew Logan in, despite himself. They're also both romantics, again, despite himself. They have mad chemistry, something that just comes naturally with couples, and something that wasn't really there with Zoey.

She's different from Zoey on many things, and I believe Logan loved every single one of those differences.

Quinn is kinder and less self-centered than Zoey. She doesn't make every issue her problem, yk? and she is actually a pretty sweet girl.

She's not self righteous like Zoey, something that often causes Logan and Zoey's fights (even tho he kinda is also, in a way that he always thinks he's right too) Oh, actually that last part just made me realize another reason why Logan and Zoey never developed feeling*.

Quinn is always willing to help her friends, when asked, unlike Zoey who simply inserts herself in the situation and give advices without asking first.

Quinn took revenge on Logan as well, but I don't think she ever went as far as Zoey had, like in Anger Management, for example.

Quinn is not as judgy as Zoey either, probably bc of the fact that she's an outcast tbh.

Zoey has a serious communication problem, connected to her self righteousness, where if she feels wronged, she never let the other person explain themselves (it's mostly Chase), while Quinn makes things less complicated and expresses those things (like when they were laughing behind her back and she told them it hurted her, bc she expected it from Logan but she thought of them as her friends, no one made a move to apologize or talk so she left). Basically both Quinn and Zoey are confrontational, but in completely different ways.

*What I realized, is that Zoey and Logan have a lot in common too. Like how they both want to be in charge at all times and have troubles accepting their wrong doing. The things they have in common are their flaws, while with Quinn, they have their better parts in common. I don't wanna bring Dana into this, but I believe this would have been the case for her and Logan too if she had stayed. So, I guess Quogan would still had been endgame (now I kinda want a fic where while Quinn was with Mark, Logan had a messy relationship with Dana, Quogan is still endgame at the end, I think it'd be more dramatic and make Logan also experience what's like to have a healthy relationship after coming out of an unhealthy one)

One could argue that Logan's attraction to Quinn's less dominating qualities and attitudes in comparison to Zoey could be attributed to his sexism and his own dominating personality at the time, but then again, Quinn is a dominating girl too, we see that in her relationship with Mark, so I don't think it's only that, I think at the end, it was more about Quinn's healthier way of dealing with things drew him in. He really needed someone that was at his level on that aspect but would match him and work with him for the better instead of someone who made things worse.

Logan and Quinn balance each other and bring the best in the other. Logan and Zoey, despite their moments of friendship, bring out the worst. They're too similar to like each other while Quinn is has the right amount of similarities and differences to make their relationship work and generate an attraction that later turned into love.

Now he's not only too in love with his wife to still harbor a crush on her, he also doesn't seem to like Zoey very much.

TL;DR: kinda but it wasn't that deep, Zoey and him weren't compatible like that.
