My current obsession...
Tumblr media
NSFW below the cut
Tumblr media
Being on a video call that will ensure the promotion you’ve been working towards for years, and the smug bastard that is Johnny Soap MacTavish takes it upon himself to eat you from underneath the desk table.
You can't break the call. Have to remain calm from the hip up as Johnny skilfully devours at your delicious cunt.
Your brow furrows, lips twitch. Yet you remain steadfast and focused on the task at hand even as Johnny works you into a feverish mess just beneath the surface.
It all culminates into that one final question from the highest executive, the one that will make or break the next step in your career.
And as if on cue, the overconfident shithead between your legs moans and delves his tongue into the depths of your core just as you begin to utter the response that will set in stone the next chapter of your life.
Your only reaction is a slightly heightened pitch to your initial words before ultimately regaining composure. Fiercely gripping into the desk behind the monitor and out of view as the relentless waves of an encroaching orgasm ripple out through your core and from the tip of Soap's overly talented tongue.
As the sounds of positive evaluation and approval spill through the speakers of your monitor, you quickly yet professionally mutter your appreciation and gratitude to your superiors and swiftly close the monitor to finally release your pent-up climax violently against his mouth.
Throwing your head back with a roaring moan of his name from your quivering lips, covering him with your juices as you tremble into the chair and slump over in overwhelming bliss.
And as your mind steadily settled back down into blissful normalcy, you glanced down between your legs and were met with an arrogant yet affectionately loving gaze.
"Congratulations, bonnie."

Eddie moves away from Hawkins and opens a tattoo/coffee shop with Robin and Steve. There's a small apartment above their cozy shop that the four of them live in; Nancy moved away with them too but she's in college and only stays a couple nights a week, to Robin's dismay.
Steve runs the coffee side of things at the front of the shop, sometimes with the help of Robin, but she's in the process of learning how to become a professional piercer so she spends a lot of her days at another shop a few blocks down. Eddie's promised her that once she's fully trained, she can turn the spare back room into her piercing studio and decorate it however she likes.
Eddie spends all day tattooing. He loves it. He loves that people are willing to wear his art forever and he makes sure to take pictures of everything he does to add to the wall of tattoos (instgram isn't a thing yet, he has to show off his clients' tattoos somehow). The whole front wall of the shop is covered in polaroids of his art on people's bodies. It's a collage of his life's work. There's a few photos of Steve and Robin in there showing off their matching bff tattoos and one of Steve shyly standing there with no shirt on, the bat tattoos on his ribs on full display.
Eddie isn't supposed to have favourites, he's supposed to love and appreciate all his works of art equally, but that one is secretly his favourite. He runs his fingers over the ink on Steve's ribs every night.
They got a surprise visitor in 1990; Will Byers. Normally, the kids ring in advance to let them know they're coming so that they can organise the spare room upstairs and save a booth in the cafe for them to sit and chat to Steve while he works. But Will came unannounced and he looks oddly nervous standing in front of Eddie's desk in the back of the shop with a folder clutched to his chest.
"What can I do for you, baby Byers?" Eddie's wearing his thick rimmed glasses and organising paperwork as it's the one day he doesn't take clients. But if Will's come in for a tattoo, then he'd drop everything and set up. He's been waiting for the day the kids come in and ask for a tattoo from him.
"Uhm, I'm sorry I didn't call first -"
"Psh, it's fine. You're always welcome here." Eddie says with a wave of his ring clad hand. Will eyes the fresh ink on the top of his hand, and Eddie grins. "Are you here for a tattoo?"
Will looks over his shoulder at Steve, who had spoken to Will quietly when he first came in, and he is met with an encouraging nod from the older man. Steve makes a shooing motion with his hand as if to say, 'Go on. You can do it.'
Eddie waits patiently and watches closely as Will sets the folder in his arms down on the desk. "I was actually wondering if you were looking for an apprentice. I-I want to be a tattoo artist like you."
Steve watches anxiously from behind the coffee counter as Eddie flicks through Will's portfolio without saying anything. He's the one that encouraged Will to bring his art in and if Eddie said no, which Steve doubts, Steve would feel so bad. He'd even paid for Will's bus tickets because the kid still doesn't know how to drive.
Eddie gently closes the folder and levels Will with a blank stare, "You're hired." And then he breaks out into the biggest smile ever and runs around his desk to crush a very stunned Will into a hug. "How long can you stay? I've always wanted an apprentice! Ah! I have so much to show you!"
All the nervousness and tension in Will's body disappears and he hugs Eddie back just as tight. He meets Steve's gaze over Eddie's shoulder and feels like crying when he sees the proud smile on his former babysitters face. He wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Steve's encouragement. He'd stayed on the phone to Will the night before for hours comforting him and reassuring him it'd all be fine.
And it is fine, it's more than fine.
They turn the spare room upstairs into a bedroom for Will; they no longer need the extra room for Nancy as her and Robin have finally sorted their shit out and spend nearly every night together. Steve sometimes has to bang on their shared wall to tell them to stop giggling so loud.
By the end of the year, nearly everyone in the party has made their way through the doors of the shop to get a tattoo from both Eddie and Will. Steve's also been training Mike in the coffee shop because, "If you're gonna be in here all day, you may as well help out."
The photo collage is now overflowing with new photos from both Eddie and Will, who has been dubbed Eddie's successor.

yeah, okay. how about a Parent Trap dreamling AU?
------------------
“I was hoping I’d find you out here.”
Hob only speaks once he’s mere feet from Dream, at the end of the pier. Dream surely had heard him approach, the damp, squeaky wood of the dock giving him away. But Dream hadn’t looked back.
He looks at Hob now, twisting his head just enough to watch as Hob carefully sits next to him with a grunt, unfolding his legs to let them drape over the edge and his shoes inches away from the surface of the water.
They say nothing for a while, staring straight ahead, out past the lake, the murky waters gentle and reflecting the clouds above, moving just enough in the soft breeze to reveal rays of the setting sun here and there.
This whole trip had been… interesting, to say the least. A weekend vacation at a resort gone completely haywire. Hob certainly hadn’t expected to see his ex-husband getting necked in the elevator by some well-dressed blond wearing sunglasses. Indoors.
The look on Dream’s face, as he and Hob made eye contact across the lobby, just before the elevator doors closed, had been hilarious though.
“Our sons.” Dream finally says with a hint of astonishment, his low voice barely disturbing the quiet.
Hob huffs out a laugh, closing his eyes and leaning back on his hands.
“Can’t believe they did this.”
Hob can sense Dream looking at him, and cracks an eye open to catch his gaze.
“No?”
Hob laughs again, shaking his head. Clearing it. From the deep blue of Dream’s eyes. Still as striking as ever, even weathered from age. Twelve years.
“He gets it from you, I hope you are aware.” Dream continues, affection in his tone.
Hob chuckles. “Perhaps the idea was Robyn. But the logistics?” Hob peeks over, side-eyeing Dream. “That’s all from you. That’s Orpheus”
A tiny smirk tugs on Dream’s lips and Hob finds his gaze fixed to the sight. It had been a long time since he’d seen Dream smile.
“You,” Hob starts again. “And your particularities.”
“You used to find them charming, I remember.” Dream looks down into the water, kicking his legs slightly. “Not as off-putting as my personality.”
“You were very prickly, back then.” Hob agrees with a laugh, feeling bold and bumping their shoulders. “Nothing I couldn’t handle.”
Dream goes quiet, as does Hob. Sitting in silence. Listening to the sounds of nature around them. The rustle of leaves, the sounds of birds singing, the lapping of the waves.
“They’re watching us, you know.” Dream speaks again.
Hob smiles. “I wouldn’t doubt it.”
Dream gives a long sigh, leaning forward and lacing his fingers together. Hob watches him, openly. Takes in the long form of Dream, the rolled up sleeves of his black button down, revealing creamy white forearms against equally black jeans, cuffed around the ankles. His shoes and socks are tucked next to him, and Hob wonders how often Dream lets his guard down like this now.
And Dream’s aged infuriatingly well, in his physical appearance. A little more filled out, still thin though. Like Hob could still wrap his entire body around him, embrace Dream and fit him against his chest, where he would fit best. He’s got maybe some lines on his forehead but otherwise…
“You look good, Dream.”
Dream looks sideways up at Hob before sitting up properly.
After an agonising silence, Dream sighs, his eyes moving, studying Hob.
“As do you.”
Hob licks his lips and tears his gaze away just as his eyes settle on Dream’s mouth. He clears his throat and speaks forward, forcing his thoughts out of the past.
“Robyn misses you.”
Dream laughs sadly. “He doesn’t even know me.”
He could know you, Hob thinks. “He talks about you though. He wonders… what you’re like.”
Dream sighs again, rolling his eyes upward.
“He’s been a handful this past week, pretending to be Orpheus. A menace.”
Hob laughs, pulling a hand through his hair.
“Sorry about that.
“He doesn’t like Cori.”
Hob feels a nerve twitch. Neither do I.
“Ah, Cori. That the bloke you were mackin’ on in the lift?”
Dream shoots him a pointed look and Hob smirks and winks. “Nice looking fellow– I’m assuming. Couldn’t see his face with those sunglasses.”
“He’s just a fling.”
“Ah.”
The silence between them is heavy now, turning awkward. Hob takes a sharp breath through his teeth, changing his tone to be playful.
“At your age?”
“Shut up.” Dream shoves Hob and his smile is blinding.
Hob laughs and it catches Dream, who is giggling now behind his hand and something in Hob’s chest lurches. Lodges in his throat. He looks at Dream, just them, alone and his heart is suddenly screaming with regret.
There’s an ache to touch. To feel Dream’s hands on him again, to hear his laugh, to earn his hard-won smiles. Hob wonders how much Dream had changed, if he still likes the same things. If he still takes his tea with far too much cream and sugar. If he’s still enamoured by thunderstorms, dragging Hob outside to feel the rain on his skin, laughing hysterically as a bolt of lightning would crackle and shake the earth and getting pulled back inside by Hob, who would kiss him stupid afterwards, wet and smiling.
They had both been so young when they’d married. The fights had been small but constant. Little things that bubbled up into nonsense. And they hadn’t been ready for kids. But it felt like the natural next step. Their surrogate having twins was a shock for both of them.
But they had loved Orpheus and Robyn. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to keep them together.
Funny how, now that the boys had found each other, they were the ones pushing them back together.
[part two!]

DP x DC - Jason Todd was once Danny Fenton
Danny Fenton Is Evolving! *do dodo dooo* Your Danny Fenton Has Evolved Into: Jason Todd
——————————
(In this AU, Danny would’ve gotten his powers in middle school rather than high school - he would have just turned 12 at the time)
As a preteen (almost 13) Danny runs away from his parents who want to rip him apart.
Tucker recreates his identity as he rushes to Gotham.
That identity was Jason Todd. Similar events play out, and Danny begins to lose contact with Sam and Tucker. Before he cuts them off entirely to protect them, Tucker asks him to steal the wheels off the Batmobile for shits and giggles (the excuse was he could sell them for good money).
He could see Sam shaking her head at their stupidity, but she’d be laughing all the way.
Jason Todd is caught by the Bat himself, and as a result, he throws a tire iron at his head only to get picked up by the scruff and babied by the Waynes.
Danny gets thrown back into vigilantism as the second Robin. He’s rough on people because he’s only known how to fight ghosts, and ghosts aren’t as predictable as people.
He gets comfortable, he’s happy, he gets to connect to his human half more!
He gets into a fight with his dad Bruce. Danny, in a fit of anger, storms out of the cave only to fall right into the Joker’s hands and beaten to death at fifteen.
Or, rather, hit so hard he gets knocked out and sustains lethal wounds to the point his core stops his human bodily functions so it can focus on fixing the internal damage (stopping his heart, breathing, etc.).
He gets buried shortly after being found.
Jason Todd digs himself out of his grave after a few years.
Jason Todd hides from his father Batman and the League, the latter being oddly obsessed with getting their hands on him.
Danny Phantom takes up patrolling Crime Alley, Batman thinks he’s seeing the ghost of Jason Todd - and he’s not that far off really. It was only after the Joker threatened to kill Robin and Red Robin that he lost it.
Now he was standing in front of all of the Birds and Bats, Phantom form, guilt starting to tear at his core as a he looked over his family.
The was silence in the warehouse, other than the clanking sound of Danny dropping the crowbar that he used to break the arms and legs of his killer nemesis.
“Jay…?”

Someone says Billy might be in there, and that's all it takes to snap Steve's resolve in two like a pathetic, gnawed-on piece of red vine.
Billy might be in there, Nancy says.
It's strange when it claws out of her, choked and desperate because they're running out of time, some. Huge, old, fuckin', annoying clock ticking away someplace, deaf to be heard. But felt. Like five knuckles to the stomach.
Nancy's got mud on her cheeks. Blood crusting brown at the corner of her nose and fear glittering like shards of mirrorball in both eyes. Blue. Steve used to obsess over that shade, until.
Billy. Who burned the rest of the world to the ground. Who changed water and sky and moonlight and lake fronts forever. For Steve. Billy--
Who might be down there.
Steve peers at the soft current of the lake, rippling with tabs of stardust. Billy's dead, Steve remembers suddenly. They told him he was dead because he couldn't see through the cloud of black-cat gun powder that night the bottom fell the fuck out. They told Steve everyone was better off, they buried what was left of his body and they moved on. Everyone.
Steve didn't cry at the funeral. Couldn't. He promised Billy that he never would, not. In front of Neil Hargrove, not in front of anyone, so.
Billy might be in there.
Steve can't blame them as the boat rocks, gentle as the tick-tick of time pressing on, when no one moves.
Steve, Nancy says.
He looks at her, taken aback by the shock on her face. What are you doing, she says. But Steve isn't listening. His shirt dangles from her fingertips, a white flag. A death shroud.
Steve doesn't remember taking it off. He opens his mouth. Shuts it.
Eddie Munson looks at him with the kind of sharp, resigned knowing that makes Steve shrug. Clear his throat. Say, If I'm not back in two minutes, jump in after me.
Steve, Nancy says. Small and afraid, You can't go in. You're--
--Billy's in there, Steve snaps. No might. Leaving no room for argument. He can feel it, like that big clock in the sky, ticking.
Billy's in there, so Steve jumps.
--
Somewhere, in sudden, churning darkness
his skin starts to burn.
--
Something hits him, right under his temple. On his cheek bone. It sticks too the tacky landing of his skin and then falls.
Not. To the ground, Steve doesn't think. To the lakebed.
Into some great, terrible void that waits to swallow him whole because it has no teeth. No edge. No suffering.
"You're starting to burn," Someone tells him.
Steve jerks awake, eyes slamming into a bright blue sky. "Sorry," He says. "I fell asleep. I thought--"
"--You're gonna catch on fire."
Trees, nodding in the warm exhale of some far-away afternoon spring from the centerfold of himself. He's getting a sunburn but there's a tube of banana boat sunscreen on the beach towel next to him, hot to the touch.
"Did you throw that at me?" He demands. Steve's naked from the waist down. Flat on the earth, suddenly. Flat on a beach towel, gritting black sand into Miss Universe, '84's shiny blue one piece. He's seen this towel, before.
"You've gotta put it on," The voice says, "You don't have much longer."
Steve sits, blinking into the sunlight.
He's at the quarry. He's been here before.
"Who are you?" He asks.
The earth seems to exhale. Far below, laughter climbs the rocky face of memory. Steve hears children, playing. His children. Dustin's voice tugs at him. His heart. His mind.
Billy's in there--
"I'm looking for someone," Steve says, but he doesn't turn from the treeline. Doesn't peer below, either. Doesn't move. "I. I think I lost him. I haven't seen him in a long time but I--"
"Don't worry about that."
"I worry," Steve reports, but it feels like a lie. He considers the banana boat sunscreen but can't reach for it, afraid of what might happen if he sinks into its release.
The children keep laughing, far below, and Steve thinks he's seen this blue before. This shade. This sky.
"I don't want you to get sunburned," The voice tells him. Closer. Near enough that the breath from its lungs stirs the hair on Steve's head. Just out of eyesight. "You always look like shit when you're burned up."
"I was wondering if you could help me."
"You're gonna turn red, pretty boy. A fuckin' lobster."
Steve gasps. His heart shudders. Stops.
Stops beating.
Steve swallows. "I'm looking for someone," He says. Not particularly inclined to tear his eyes away from the peaks and valleys of the hill that grinds, pestle, all around him. He's safe. Nestled into the end. "Please, I. I think I lost him. I've been trying to find him for a long time but he's--"
"Hiding," The voice says.
Someone sits next to him in the sand. Naked from the waist down, golden.
Sunlight. Flame. The dawn.
Steve looks at him. "Billy," He says. Or maybe he doesn't. The word comes from everywhere, like springtime rolling over the earth. Flowers blooming and withering all at once.
"You don't have much longer," Billy stretches out along the beach towel, red trunks coated in dark black sand. "You're burning up. Why don't you go back?"
Steve remembers this.
Asking if there was an extra towel, if Billy wanted this one, why Billy gave it to him in the first place--
"Because I want to be with you," Steve says. Like Billy had said, then. That day at the quarry before. This and them and everything. It had opened a whole universe for them. It had changed everything and now Steve holds his breath, wondering if it will again.
Below, the children keep laughing.
"Billy," Steve says, because it tastes good. Like lemonade and iced tea. And cotton candy at the county fair. And cigarettes at midnight. And pancakes, burned by the man he--
"Look at me," Steve says.
Billy's hair billows, golden in the breeze. "I can't."
"Why?"
"You stare at me with those fuckin' eyes and," Billy shakes all over, "I'll get selfish. Ask you to stay."
"Don't have to ask," Steve tells him, rooted to Miss Universe '84. "I'm not going back."
"Yes you are."
"I can't live without--"
"Jesus Christ, would you listen to this bullshit? We sound like a play about star crossed losers, and not a good one, either." Billy sits up straight, tucking his hair behind his ears. "It's cliche. Don't say shit like that."
Steve swallows. "It's true."
"I know, pretty boy."
"So then why can't I stay with you?"
"Because it's not your time yet," Billy says, finally, finally looking at him. Eyes blue like the sky.
Steve exhales, watching as the earth moves with him. "Now who's cliche?"
Billy laughs, and.
Steve must crumble. Must catch on fire. Must make up his mind because he breaks.
"Don't cry," Billy tells him, weakly, "Harrington--"
"--I'm not going back unless you come with me."
"It doesn't work like that."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm dead," Billy tells him, turning in the sand until their knees press together. Solid and warm.
Alive.
"I'm not in the lake, sweetheart. I know you want me to be, but I'm not." Steve sobs. He can't help it, can't stamp it down, it slithers out of him with its fangs bared, full of fear and poison. It must get Billy in the heart. Must kill him a second time because Billy grabs at Steve, clutching Steve's face between his hands. "Hey, none of that, now--"
"--I'm sorry, Billy. So fucking sorry--"
Billy scrubs the tears away. "It's not your fault. Sometimes," Billy says, tugging fingers through Steve's hair, "Sometimes shit just happens, and people die, and it's a normal part--"
"--Nothing's normal anymore," Steve snaps, "I don't even know what normal looks like. And. Even before everything, before that night, I just. Something happened to me," Steve commit's the feeling of Billy's thumbs, rubbing circles into his sadness, to memory. "You happened to me, Billy."
The children aren't laughing, anymore. The sun dips low in the sky.
Billy turns from him, eyes scanning the treeline, "You don't have much longer, sweetheart."
"I'm not going back."
"You have to. I'm not arguing with you. This isn't a discussion." Billy says. Horrible and empty.
Steve snaps. "What, are you going to force me back into my body? Possess me like some fucking, ghost asshole and make me swim back to the surface?"
Billy blinks at him, shocked.
"That's where I am, right? Drowning at the bottom of the goddamn lake?"
Billy's face cracks open. "I can't watch you die."
"I watched you die."
"Bullshit," Billy says, "You couldn't see through the smoke--"
"--I love you," Steve says. Because it's simple. True. "And you love me."
Billy holds him tighter. Closer. "I know, baby."
"So let me stay here," Steve says. Holding on just as tight. Just as hard. "Let me come with you, and we can--"
"You have so much life stretching out in front of you, baby. So much love just. Fuckin' waiting for you."
"I don't care."
"You're going to have a family," Billy says, voice shaking, "You're going to meet someone. They're so good to you, I can. I feel it. Like sunlight," Billy blinks, lashes clumped with tears, "No. You already know him. Just met him."
"I don't want anyone else," Steve snaps, desperate. Wishing he could peel Billy's skin from the bone and sew himself up inside. Live there forever and ever and--
"I can't love anyone else, Billy."
"Yes you can," Billy says. "You will."
"What about," Steve asks, clutching Billy closer, "What about you?"
Billy smiles sadly. "I'm not going anywhere. Your whole life, I'll be here. I'll be waiting for you."
The sun dips below the horizon. The world burns.
Steve runs out of time.

Jackson watched Mr. Grimm sit down in his desk chair.
"So," he began doubtfully, "are you telling me I can do whatever I want while I'm stuck here? "Won't they force me to follow a story I don't know and I can take whatever classes I want?"
"Not exactly the ones you want," Grimm said. "Classes that are similar to the ones you have at your school. So that you don't fall too far behind or miss anything. With a little luck, perhaps, you have the same study topics. Outside of that, yes. You can do whatever you want. As long as no Utterson, Lanyon or Enfield enter the school gates, you will be completely free from my brother's pressure."
Jackson sighed in relief. I had no idea who the people he named were and had no intention of finding out. Just seeing the expressions on the faces of the Grim brothers and Baba Yaga was more than enough to know that he did not want to know what that book contained. If the few days he had been in Ever After taught him anything, it was that the stories told at home were very different from the ones told here. And he had no intention of knowing how different his great-grandparents' history was.
"Thank you for letting me know, Mister."
"It doesn't matter. You can now leave. I'm sure you'll enjoy chatting with your new classmates about what possible classes you'll have." He said with a smile.
"Thank you, have a nice day." The boy turned around and headed for the door. As he was about to leave he heard the vice principal's voice again.
"Before you go, young Jekyll." The professor had gotten up from his desk and was now looking at him standing with his arms crossed behind his back. "If I were you, I wouldn't trust my particular situation. There may not be a book you have to sign to seal your fate. But there is still a destiny. After all, destiny is just another name for our future. Ever After has shown that it can drag us to fulfill our destinies in an unexpected way. And if I have learned anything from my students, it is that in those moments it is important to have your heart in the right place." With that, Giles Grimm gave him a small smile and then lost himself in the shelves full of books.
Jackson had no idea what he was talking about and hoped he could leave before he knew it.

Letters
Concept: your daughter finds the letters you and jack sent each other years ago, the ones you thought you had lost.
Tumblr media
"how was school today, lele?" - jack asked leah, your eight year old daughter. she wasn't his. you two got together when she was just three years old, but since day one he likes to say she is his daughter, and right from the second she understood jack wasn't her dad, she decided that blood didn't matter and that he was in fact her dad, and according to her, the best in the world.
"it was good. i got the highest grade on an essay ms. carrie made us write" - she said after placing her backpack on the couch and following her dad to the kitchen, where you were finishing lunch while bouncing your five months old daughter, emma - "hi, mommy" - she hugged your waist and then grabbed her baby sister's little foot and smelled it - "hi, little stinky"
"what was the essay about?" - jack asked her, following the conversation they were having, after standing next to you to kiss your lips and your baby's head.
"she asked us about what we wanna be and do when we grow up and then made us read it for the class"
"and what did you write about? was it about you wanting to be an astronaut?" - you asked.
"nah, i don't wanna be an astronaut anymore. i realized it'd be too lonely and i don't think i can bring you guys with me. i want to be a poet, just like you guys"
you and jack shared a look, then looked at her confused - "poets? honey, i'm a dentist and your dad writes stuffs, yes, but it isn't poetry"
"i found some letters from each other in the basement and i thought they were that" - now everyone was confused.
"well, you can read that essay for us after we eat lunch, now help me set the table" - jack and leah went to did as you told them.
an hour later, when you all finished cleaning the table and the kitchen, you went to the living room to rest.
"do you mind reading your essay to us, baby?" - you asked her, curious about what she wrote.
she quickly got up and went to grab her notepad from her backpack. she sat across from you and started reading.
"a little over a month ago mommy asked me to go down to the basement to look for something, don't ask me what it was since i don't remember, but while looking for that forgotten thing i found a box full of letters and little notes. i grabbed the box and took it to my room and then went back to mommy. later that night, after mommy and daddy kissed me goodnight, i stayed up for a little longer reading some of the letters. they were from when mommy started dating daddy. i wish i could read them all to you, but for now you'll have to believe me when i say that all those little papers are the most beautiful forms of love you can see and read, at least to me they are. they told each other about how much they liked each other, then with time they said "i love you" for the first time, then some things happened and they were having some sort of issues but they made it through and kept going. i know it doesn't make much sense since you can't read them, but I've decided since I've read them that i want to be a poet. i want to make people feel things through my words. i want to have a love so pure that it inspires me to write the most beautiful things. i want to be loved like my dad loves my mom. i want to have a family of my own like the one my mommy gave me when she decided to love my dad. i want to be loved and happy enough to write it down like my mom and dad did..."
when she finished reading, you looked jack in the eyes and saw you weren't the only one tearing up.
"honey, you still have those?" - jack asked you.
"apparently i do. i thought i lost them when we moved"
"they were buried inside a huge box filled with books" - she said before running upstairs and coming back a few seconds later with the box between her hands.
"can i read you my favorite ones?" - she asked happily. you two only nodded.
she grabbed a piece of paper that looked like it had been to war and back.
"... remember how you jokingly said you would make me miss you while being on the road? i hate you for it, but i do; i do miss you. the only times i don't miss you are when leah needs me and i have to focus on her. i would say that i don't miss you when i'm asleep but that would be a lie because i even see you in my dreams and i hate it because i don't want to fall for you. i hate to admit it but i'm scared. i'm scared of you making us love you and then leaving and not coming back. i'm scared of leah growing attached to you because you're young, i don't think you're ready to be a dad, specially of a girl who isn't your blood but god, i can't stop looking and smiling when she sees you and runs to you. i can't stop smiling and tearing up at the thousands of photos and videos i have of you two playing or just sleeping together.
i'm scared, jackman. i'm scared at how much i'm missing you"
"I tracked the dates and found dad's response letter" - leah said putting down the letter and grabbed a paper that looked much better than the previous one.
"i wasn't joking. i was making fun of you just to hide that i was going to miss you too and oh baby, i thought it was going to be hard, yes, but i didn't imagine it would be this heavy on me. i have never missed anyone like this. i think it is because i left my parents home at a young age. i became independent very quickly and harshly. i was on the road all the time so I didn't have a home, just places where i was living in, but now i do. i have a home in you. is it too fast? yes? no? maybe? who cares? i don't want to be with anyone else. i want to come back home and hold you, rock lele to sleep. you two are my home. i'm scared too, because my work life isn't easy and i don't want that affecting you or lele, but i have to work hard so i'm able to provide for you two. you deserve the best things and i'm working in every way to give you that. to be that.
i don't know if lele is attached to me, but i sure know i'm attached to her. i don't want a life without that girl. she makes everything better, brighter and when i think about coming back to you, i think about coming back to her too.
don't ever stop missing me because i won't ever stop missing you.
missing something or someone is a good thing, and it means a lot.
and you two mean a lot to me, baby."
you looked at jack with teary eyes and with a smile on your face - "i went to visit him for the weekend while you stayed with your grandma and i left him that note on his bed" - you added a background story for her.
"yeah, i dropped her at the airport and when i came back i found it. i read it a couple of times a day, that's why it looks so ugly. then when I arrived to the next city, the first thing i did was sending her a response"
"oh, i love this one too" - leah carefully folded the previous pieces of paper she had in her hands and grabbed another one.
"... last night i was putting leah to sleep and she started crying for you. she wanted you to sing for her, i tried but apparently i'm not good enough of a singer for my baby, but i guess that's what happens when you date a professional singer. she's getting used to you and so is her mommy, because i had a hard time sleeping too"
she folded the paper after reading it and grabbed his response to it.
"i'm sorry to break it down for you, mama, but you aren't that good of a singer, but it's ok, you can't be a good mom, a good student and a good singer. that would embarrass the rest of us.
i need to come up with some lullabies because my songs aren't made for kids. i'll start working on that, lele, i promise.
pd; so, are you dating a professional singer? good for you, girl. is he good looking?"
"you know that song he sings to emmy?" - you asked her, making her nod - "dad wrote that for you after he sent that letter. you could only fall asleep to it, so i had to play it for you every single night"
"your mom was jealous" - jack said, laughing with your daughter.
"i sort of was. it was so hard putting you to sleep and he made it seem so easy every time"
"out of them all, this one is my favorite" - leah said before starting a new one.
"i'm literally writing this right next to you. you two look so beautiful and at peace while sleeping so i'm sitting on the floor while writing this. we're at the beach, lele's first time at the beach, and i can't express how happy i feel right now.
the way she gets so happy while watching the sand fall through her little fingers. how much fun she has while running away from the water so the waves can't catch her. her attempts to build a sand castle...
it makes me think about the future. i want to be there for her first times her entire life.
i want to be there when she starts school. i want to be first concert she attends to. i want to be at her graduation. i want to see her become a woman, a professional. i want to see her fall in love, get excited over dates, but for that i want to give her the example of how a woman should be treated.
i want her to think of you and think that her mom is truly loved. i want her to see our relationship, get inspired and aim for something like it.
i want to take care of you. i want to be here for you. i want to be here for you two.
what i'm trying to say is; if you give me the honor of spending the rest of your life with me, i would make sure you two are happy, loved, taken care of.
So, would you marry me?"
"that's the last one i found, so i don't know how that went" - she said a little upset.
"i woke up, confused because he wasn't there. i got up and kissed your forehead, when i did i noticed the piece of paper besides you. i took it and read it. as soon as i finished reading it you wake up, so I had to get you ready first. i was excited and tearing up. i literally ran with you in my arms. i got to the front desk of the hotel and asked for a pen and a piece of paper. he had texted me saying he was waiting for us at the restaurant to have dinner. i went there and saw him sitting at a table on his own, while using his phone. i asked a waitress to bring him the little paper and when he got it, he stood and started looking for us. i walked towards him, he snatched you from my arms and held me so tight"
"and i have never let go since then" - jack murmured while grabbing your hand and kissing the back of it, close to where your rings have been for years now. he stood and made you follow him to his studio - "look at that" - he told leah.
she looked up at the little frame hanging on the wall, and there it was. the little note with the name and logo of the hotel and a messy "i do" written on it.

Literally nobody knows this but I watched The Untamed during the lockdown in 2020 after receiving what I perceived as a deep betrayal from my older sister. I, of course became slightly obsessed with Jiang Cheng, like, I -get him-

(VIRIAN) HEADCANON TIME !
So for context, I drew this little portrait of Varian as a warm up since I have a lot of art to work on soon and because I want to practice drawing him more. I also just wanted to mess around with him having wavier hair.
I genuinely think he came out cute, his face is very cute and very pretty! But there’s also a good kind of “weirdness” about it. And I didn’t try to change it at all, because I really liked that! I didn’t intend for it, but I’m glad it happened, because it feels correct and it feels like Varian. Might just be my art style, but still!
Because of this, I got the idea that Varian doesn’t like looking at himself in mirrors or even in pictures, because he doesn’t like what he’s looking at. All he’s seeing is how “weird” he looks, and failing to recognize how that’s part of how actually pretty he is. So I thought back to this rp I’ve had going with one of my friends, and there was one point where Varian looked in his mirror and was basically just “is that really what I look like?” I JUST- (Thank you Blair)
So then it came to me. That one scene in Beauty and The Beast where Beast is like “She’s so beautiful, and I’m…Well, look at me!” I feel so strongly about that being Varian venting to Ruddiger or even Eugene, it just fits.
Violet’s literally so pretty, we know this, and Varian sees that x1000 to the point he’s wondering why on earth she ever considered him. Does he get to flex that he bagged her? Absolutely. But then he wonders how it actually happened and- you know, like it all just goes off the rails.
They both talk down on their appearances but then speak so highly of each other because they take that so seriously. And Violet loves his pretty little face so much it upsets her if he ever says it’s weird looking and it upsets him when she says she’s gangly and “average”. They hate how they look but consider each other the prettiest creatures in the world, it’s beautiful and I’m sobbing.
Ah anyways, here’s the drawing. Literally was a spur of the moment idea simply because of how I drew him lmfao.

Like- he’s pretty!
