I am so, so sorry for what you are going through.
I'd like to request another Kane x fem!reader, with them being inside the shimmer. Some of the prompts I love are 2, 11, 23, 37, 42! Was thinking what if reader was close with a different soldier, and was growing closer as things looked bad, though you and that soldier were never anything more than two friends comforting each other in the face of the end, and Kane finally snapped?
Thank you so much for the opportunity to request! Much, much love to you.

It rattles against the bars of his very being, the creature that had been rearing its ugly head since the moment he stepped in here. It’s snarling, threatening to burst through its confines when he sees Vallows wrap his arms around your shoulder in a comforting squeeze.
He’s curdling, twisting into something obscene in his envy.
“Hey,” Kane calls out, voice tight. He sees you look over your shoulder, startled by the noise with these round puppy-eyes that set him alight on the inside, flames of his desire swallowing the creature whole. He crooks a finger at you, watching you approach with a nervous expression on your face as though he’s about to whip you for miss-stepping.
“Come here,” he orders, and his stomach flips when you do exactly that, footfalls stepping in time with his own as he leads the way into the overgrowth. It’s vile, the sickly greed that had enveloped him since entering The Shimmer. Things weren’t right here; reality fundamentally twisted.
You look up at him with this expectant gaze that makes his body sing for you, the threads in the fabric of his being tearing with their need for you. When you open your mouth to question his taking you aside, Kane descends on you with an animalistic groan, smothering your lips with his own and grabbing at your body with greedy hands.
He should be appalled with himself, but you’re wrapping your arms around him suddenly, pulling his body into your own and breathing his name into his mouth— not his title, his name.
The both of you stumble into the flowering overgrowth, the pink petals of the blossom flowers shimmering rainbows like an oil slick as he rips off your camo trousers, his lips brushing the collar of your khaki polo shirt when he sinks his teeth into the soft flesh of your throat.
“Kane!” You wail out his name and a pulse of something ravenous washes over Kane’s body. If he wasn’t already scrambling, he’s practically tearing your clothes off you when he tastes the iron of your blood on his tongue. Fuckfuckfuck, he needs this. He needs it. You’re not Vallows’. He can’t have you. You’re his.
He sucks on the split skin across the column of your neck, tasting more of the red blood that stains his teeth. You’re arching off the soil beneath you, pushing your breasts into his chest and whining at the sensation of pressure against your nipples.
“Fuck,” he groans loudly, the envious monster scratching in the pit of his stomach gaining some relief when you work your fingers into his dark curls and press a kiss to his lips. You’re licking your tongue into his mouth, tasting your own blood on his enamel, and Kane’s cock leaps against the zipper of his uniform.
Christ, you barely give him a moment to respond. Your fingers don’t tremble when they reach for the zipper, ripping it down and working his belt open. Not bothering to remove it from the loops, you pull the button quickly, the metal of the buckle hanging at his hip rattling as you work his clothes down his thighs.
Kane growls loudly, grabbing your hips in a bruising grip and yanking your body across the emerald grass to pull you into position. It’s like you know, your thighs hiking up over his waist. You breathe in tandem, sharing one brain as Kane works his cock inside of you with a feral hiss of your name.
“Oh- ohfuckohfuck-“ the praises spill from your lips and it blooms a vengeful pride through Kane’s chest as he brutally slams into you. It’s earth-shattering, each slap of his skin on yours causing your body to hike up the soil and away from him until Kane grabs you and spears you back down onto his cock with a particularly vicious thrust.
“Mhm- Mhm, this fu-fucking Vowels-“ Kane spits, a rasp of something unhinged playing on his voice when you flutter around his cock, pussy gushing against his length, “Could he fuck you lik-like I can? Hmm? Could he fuck you like I can?!”
You’re sobbing loudly, shaking your head quickly as he fucks you into the floor. He can’t help but laugh cruelly, noting the way you look like the antithesis of those nodding-head dogs you see on people’s dashboards because you don’t stop rocking your head left and right.
“Didn’t t-think so,” he gasps as he feels you roll your hips up to meet his, chasing the orgasm you appear to be teetering on.
“Scream my name. Fuckin’ tell him who you belong to, Angel. Come on! I’ll fucking fill you up; go on-“
You do, God, you do. It breaks you apart, shatters your being as you cum around him with a scream of his single-syllable name that bounces off the bark of the shimmering trees surrounding you.
The hoarse cry you let out has him spilling into your sopping cunt, haggard shouts of your name bleeding between your whines. He feels like he pumps you full, painting his cock with a creamy slick as he continues to thrust in and out of you at a slower pace.
Only when you both pause, Kane leaning over you on shaky arms, does reality begin to ebb back into his consciousness, your heaving chest beneath him lulling him back to the sounds of The Shimmer. Birds that sound off, the beauty of the surroundings shifting ever so slightly to reveal the horrors beneath- rotting.
His post-orgasm haze seems to shake the overwhelming jealousy ever so slightly, just enough to give him pause. Shock stills his heart, his eyes staring down at you in fear of his atypical actions.
But he finds it so hard to feel guilt when you look at him, eyes all blissed out and lids hooded.
The Green-Eyed Monster rears its ugly head once more. It couldn’t bear the concept of Vallows taking you for himself.
Kane would have to remove him from the equation.

Dating Kent headcannons - GN!Reader
Tumblr media
● Kent is the most chaotic boyfriend ever
● he's a total sweetheart but also a big ball of energy that can't be contained
● he goes for a swim every single morning at 6AM to start off his day and he does so with the biggest smile on his face
● and he's such an optimist
● "Kent it's way too early to be this chipper"
● "but babe it's gonna be such a great day!"
● people think he's a coffee or energy drink addict with the way he's always bouncing off the walls
● but he's like this without even needing to consume caffeine
● you can barely keep up with him
● you'll be exhausted from a day out and about with him and he's like "I feel like going for a run, you want to go for a run with me? No? Okay I'll be right back" and he just casually goes and does a loop around the entire campus
● Kent is the biggest cuddler
● and especially loves being the little spoon
● he loves when you play with his hair
● he's all around just super affectionate
● always needing to touch you in some way
● even if it's just brushing hands when you're taking notes during class because he also insists on sitting next to you in every class
● going to all his choir concerts
● he's easily the most enthusiastic one in the group just singing and dancing his little heart out
● and Kent is your number one supporter for whatever hobbies and extracurriculars you partake in
● he plans really sweet and romantic dates
● and he writes you little love letters and leaves them in random places for you to find
● but he also loves to be a little shit and play pranks on you
● Divina tried to warn you about that when you two first started dating
● "he can't be that bad"
● "ask him about how he got us banned from Disneyworld when we were 8"
● she has an endless amount of stories of all the ridiculous shenanigans he got into as kids
● normal people like to stay inside when its raining
● Kent on the other hand could spend hours running around in the rain
● "Kent please come back inside you're gonna get sick"
● he pouts and begs to stay out just a little while longer
● but then he hears a crack of thunder and jumps into your arms
● "Okay I think it's time to go inside… lets change into our pajamas and cuddle!"

Another week another Monday post
I don't know why I shame myself for not getting these done on the weekends, and I'm pretty sure a lot of tumblr users don't even have post dates turned on butttttt, well I feel bad
ANYWAY, This Week I listened to Dark Matter by Pearl Jam
Tumblr media
⭐⭐⭐ (3.5 out of 5 stars) (again no half stars)
OKAY, I know that the rating seems harsh but I've been listening to Pearl Jam since I was a literal baby, I love these guys, their music has a lot to live up to compared to their massive discography (yes I count live albums they literally have a billion songs)
I love Pearl Jam, I loved this album, and I will listen again, but this one is not their best ever, that's okay, they're Pearl Jam, they've got this music thing down and don't need some kid's opinion.
Anyways, opinion time! (as always, not opinion order, just album order)
"React, Respond" this one has nasty (/pos) guitar and signature Eddie Vedder mumbling and humming and it's a lot of fun. I'm addicted to the number of ways he sings "Don't react, respond". And when you actually understand what he's singing, this one has a good meaning behind it and is cool. Drums on this one are fun and fast too. The bridge too is a really cool contrast.
"Wreckage" is a calmer, hopeful song. I like it a lot, Pearl Jam has always been a very calming band for me, even their loud stuff (thanks to lots of riding in cars as a child and lots of sleeping in cars), so the calm stuff feels like a warm hug. I like the instrumental on this one a lot, it fills out a song that feels like a lot of loops really well, and then the bridge augh, the bridge (and outro) is gorgeous.
"Running" is back to being upbeat and fast. I love this song as much as I know it was a single and I got a lot more mileage on this track than the rest of the album. I like it, it's chaotic and just a lot of fun. The guitar riffs snuck in are a lot of fun. The Yelling is a lot of fun. Again, I love how this bridge takes it to half-time as a cool contrast. This song is LOUD and FUN. Also, cool drums woo!
Honorable Mentions!!! 🥳🥳🥳
It's hard not to say the rest of this album. I like Pearl Jam a lot.
"Dark Mater" is the namesake track, it's fun, loud, and catchy. Good song. I LOVE "It's strange these days/ When everybody else pays/ For someone else's mistakes"
"Got To Give" I also picked out, it's got fun vibes and I like the way Eddie sings on this one.
"Setting Sun" is a super cool closing track, I like how the layers are used, and I like the low singing, it's not nearly as catchy but I love the ending when the guitar comes in
Overall, super fun album, I enjoyed it, woo more Pearl Jam in 2024!

And here we go on episode four and more, more, more! All the way to eight. It's definitely addicting. I wonder if I can actually catch the next episode live... I'd have to be on public transit, but I might be able to actually watch it.
@absolutebl and @clairificusrex I'm keeping everyone up to date because I'm not gonna stop!
Verdict so far? Yup. I'm in love. But I'm also kind of glad it took me a while to get into it because the first episodes were rough. But it just got better and better and now I'm in love with the entire story and the wait for next week is going to DESTROY me.
Predictions and thoughts from my dog walk: I think that all of this is going to include figuring out exactly what's going on with Rit and that it includes organs being sold illegally and that Tol might also be involved in his suicide. Tin has a lot to learn, I cannot wait for more Sing and Gap and Toy and I really do like all the side characters, lol.
Episode 4
Tin is slowly accepting that he's in a time loop and it's going to take a lot of time and he still accepted it faster than Prakan accepted that people die.
The Professor and his assistant (???) are shady AF. Like, shady as standing under a tree on a cloudy day in a single spotlight. Shadier than fuck. The shadiest.
Tin in the time loop is almost enjoyable but I still get this twitchy little feeling every time.
Oh, look, shadier than fuck lol lol lol so shady and so unsubtle.
"Yeah, that kid getting an ultrasound? you better find two kidneys or so help me!" sdgfdg well this time loop is very helpful.
Tin calling Art to try and look out for Tol getting drunk is cute but not gonna work, bae.
But also Art is adorable trying to listen to him. I love all the side characters. Seriously. Also, the fact that he smells like alcohol because it got poured on him and not because he's drunk.
Art also reminds me of one of the actors from GMMTV, the one that played Pai in MGAYG but he's actually Techno from TT and that's unexpected and shows how bad I am at recognizing people.
Oh, the realization that this time he's hurt both boys trying to save one of them. Awww, Tin. And now he knows them and it's hurting him even more. This is like a reverse Prakan, where the death becomes more and more meaningful to him.
I do like the proof that Tol wasn't drinking and driving. That's at least a relief but I did figure something like that. Thailand is pretty good at drunk driving = bad in their shows.
Sakda is just the worst.
Have I been clear about my love of the side characters? All of them are just the best.
What will win? Black coffee, exhaustion, spicy peppers or a tiktok dance?
Sing and Gap are just the best with whatever's going on with them. (It's me, Overlord of the Side Couples!)
Mmmm, hug. I do love a good hug. And the way Tol is looking at Tin is darling. That was a very good moment. Absolutely A+. Big fan.
THE MARRIED BABIES YESSSS LOOK AT HOW DARLING THEY ARE AND HOW HAPPY I WAS WAITING FOR THIIIIS.
Awww, Tin really is attached to Tol now. It's pretty cute. And finding out there might be underlying healthy issues to his death? Ooo. You definitely need more than two days, my boy.
Episode 5
So his memories of the loops aren't perfect. Interesting. They seem to be changing how well they work as the loops get longer.
No denials? I'm into this now. I'm a fan of these boys and I look forward to whatever this leads to. Oh, boys.
"How to trick that cute guy into coming to the hospital so you can check his heart for him subtly" 101 is not a common class but I feel like it could be taught to more people.
Subtle is not Tin's middle name, it's more like the name of his worst enemy.
I love Tin so much for the entire part where he gets to diagnose Tol with his heart issue and then rushes to save Rit and now this is just getting wild. And there's so much left to go.
Tin sitting on the floor with Rit and talking about his suicide attempt is painful but so it watching him try to figure out how to explain his sudden appearance to him.
But also poor Rit. He got blamed for what other people did and it ruined him. Ugh, this poor boy. I just want to rescue him the same way Tin does. Poor boy. Poor Rit.
Mmmm, opinion of Tol just went down a lot.
Tin is a darling and I do like him a lot and how he's being sure to help Rit and being so sweet with him and so worried. But also he probably shouldn't bring up Tol feeling guilty to Rit right after he, you know, tried to kill himself because of what Tol did.
Tin, never get into a relationship to change someone.
Dude, Sadka's... person-dude-thing... is the slimiest person I've yet seen. Seriously. He's so obviously trash it's not even subtle. Oh, Doi. He's Doi. I'll remember that someday. Doi is trash.
Sadka and Doi are trash together and it's so obvious that I want to just sort of laugh. Those two are gonna get fucked over by the end, I suspect.
Mai and her secret side boyfriend are interesting and an interesting twist to their relationship. I already like him.
Doi is the worst.
Awww, Tin's smile when Tol called him.
Rit and Sing! Awww. Rit is just the cutest boy. I want to give him the biggest hug of all time and promise him life is okay and he'll be okay and that life goes on and gets better. He's just such a darling.
The look on Gap's face when Sing spoke to him? Darling.
Tol and Tin are already finding their adorable niche. Too bad Tol is gonna die again and again and again before they can do this forever.
Oooo, cologne sniffing. Can that be a new trope? It's adorable and sweet and adds a very cute shopping trip plus you could absolutely do some really cute callbacks later on in the show.
Tol's turn to stare! Nice. Also, ooo, will everyone start to fell the deja vu of a time loop? I'd be down for that.
And a kiss! A very, very poorly timed kiss that isn't going to save anyone... but a kiss nonetheless.
Episode 6
Paused to get myself some chocolate.
Poor Tol. Tin's had so much time to fall in love and Tol's just like 'wtf?!?!' Awww. But also poor Tin.
Also, the subtitles I found cannot spell disease to save their lives and it's always spelled so it almost says deceased and I am struggling, y'all.
Lip touch!
Tin is trying so hard. He cares about Tol so much but he also desperately wants out of the loop and he wants to set him free and himself free and just... oof.
These posts are also why I don't do true liveblogging, y'all. I am so prone to rambling.
Oh, it's definitely illegal organ harvesting. Called it!
"Just get rid of them" yeah, that's how this works.
How much of the hospital is in on this scheme?
I like secret boyfriend.
Ugh, this is disgusting to watch tbh. Little fuckers.
Oooo, Tol is starting to have more flaashbacks.
And Tol dies in his arms this time. Rough. Especially as he dies starting to remember what's happened before.
Yeah, once he has the heart attack he can't be saved.
I love Sing and Gap so much, y'all. Side couple POWER.
I am worried about Tol still being alive on life support. This is just scary, tbh. Scarier than the time loop, almost.
Of course he knew him in childhood. How could they resist that? No show can resist that.
Mai is pretty heartbreaking to imagine having to date someone in order to afford medical bills and to hide your actual relationship from him to save your mother. Also rough.
Have I mentioned my love of Rit? I love him.
Oh no, they goons have come! I wonder if they work for Kinn. Ultimate crossover, turns out the mafia sells organs!
I like that we got an experience woman doctor, that was nice but surprisingly rare.
Also, have I been clear that Doi and Sakda are trash?
Once Tol has the heart attack, he's doomed. Every time. Cannot be undone.
Bur oof, this is a rough episode that shows all the butterfly effects of everything going on in the show and all the ways everything spirals and all the elements that Tin is going to have to figure out how to balance. You need more than two days, babies.
Jinta's back!
The idea of the length of the time loop being controlled by where Tin sleeps is fantastic, honestly. It's a wholly fascinating way to handle the time he needs and to handle changing what he needs and when he does things.
Episode 7
I do like that Tin is aware that he's taking longer to remember things the farther back he goes. And the slow way he's growing and changing with his memories changing. Very enjoyable. And starting to remember the more distant past as well.
I mean, you know what, it's nice to know that they both have to live in order for the show to end. Like, that's just a nice little guarantee for me.
"Tol must survive to fall in love with me" sjgkl Tin, you're in so deep.
Toy is the cutest. I love him. And I love that he has a boyfriend. Fantastic. Absolutely A+. Thank you for not making him single.
He's not making mistakes. He's stealing organs. I get that you don't know that. But still. Not a mistake.
I do love Fang. She's a very fun character. And very enjoyable. Just... in general.
The 'first meeting for you, I'm already in love' running into each other bit is working kind of cutely for them.
I do adore Tin. This is like... pining but on steroids because Tin is so lost to him despite himself. Time loop pining. Hmmmm. I suppose that's to my advantage.
Tol is a little bit of a brat and a little more of one in other places. I hope Tin can find a way to save Rit from being failed. He needs to save that poor boy so much.
Honestly, meeting Tol post-saving-Art is a lot more charming than he is now. This version of Tol is basically not charming at all. He's such a brat.
Awww, Zebra.
Sing and Gap continue to be fantastic in their own way.
Tin is very, very good at coming across as a creeper.
Tol's tiny worried face about his kitty is darling But seriously, Tin, fuck off with the whole tutoring thing. Don't make this a bribe.
Gap trying to talk to the irate parent while his son lounges around with his phone is just way too accurate. And I love Sing because he's just the Right Guy for the job.
Poor Rit. That poor baby. He deserves the damn world. So much better than they're treating him.
Tol is such a brat right now. You know you're treating Rit wrong. Stop it. Learn to be nice. My good will for you is being sapped away.
I love Gap and Sing so much. I really do. Despite it all, I love them both. They're just so different and yet they could get along so well.
Save Rit, please, make his life so much better.
You know, I know that Tol has to survive to end the loop. And that he has to learn a lesson about his actions. But I'm kind of struggling as we learn more about him and he turns out to be less and less of sympathetic character.
Seriously. All my sympathy is with Rit. Tol and co can just kind of fuck off. Meh.
Episode 8
Dear is adorable and fun. I enjoy having her around. And now Tol is being a brat again for his attention but... why?
I hope Rit gets an actual apology about the whole business thing. Because he deserves it. He's a good boy.
Tin is kind of an idiot. But I guess that works for Tol, so that's all that matters.
Tol needs to learn a lesson about apologizing to people and admitting fault. Because Rit deserves all of that.
Sing and Gap time! Gap is adorable.
Seudam and Zebra time! Why is Seudam in a crate? Let the girl out. And Tin said that he had a kitty who needed a friend!
Teaching someone how to cook is such a good trope. I love it. And it's such a sign of 'this one character is a rich stink' because that's always why they can't cook.
I just need to know what happened with Rit and Tol and Art and Win and Pair and everything. Where's my flashback to that? We already know they framed him for the cheating that he didn't participate in so I kind of don't trust their opinions on this.
Oh, the nightmare and Tin pulling Tol into his arms to comfort him in absolutely my JAM more of this, please and thank you. Everywhere. Just... nightmare comforting and gentle face cradles and being held. Please.
I do like the idea of Tol remembering the loops as well. It changes the dynamic a lot as well as adding a lot more layers to their interactions.
But Tin, you should really be telling him to get his heart checked now, right? Telling him that you'll take him to the hospital and check him? RIGHT?
Also those bed snuggles are good.
Yes, Tol, please talk to Rit. Thank you. Poor Rit, though.
Me, taking either episode to realize that Rit is played by Pure's actor... yep, that's a very me move.
hgfklhdfg If no one stands up for him this time, I will lose my mind.
Look at that, Tol made a better choice this time. And also, wasn't Rit your friend as well?! Why does everyone forget that he was their friend!? And it seemed to be a fairly recent friendship break as well.
JUST TELL HIM TO GET HIS HEART CHECKED, TIN.
Man, Pair and Win are the worst. They can join Sakda and Doi in hell.
I love Sing looking out for Rit and Gap trying his best to look on the bright side and everyone taking care of him. He deserves it. He deserves a good support system.
I love Toy.
Ah, the perfection of drama timing for Tol to walk in right then. And then get the text. I mean, at least he's in the best spot to have a heart attack... I guess?
Oh no, he sees them together when they were supposed to meet!
djgkldfh BOYS.
Seriously, is this the start of another loop? But we got so far. No, my babies!
I mean, there are four more episodes so this makes sense... but still. Rough. We're in nailbiting territory for me. This feels like it should be later in the show than it is.
Tol is my rollercoaster character. I like him and then I don't and then I love him and then I want to smack him and then I want to hug him and he's just up and down and up and down and wibbly wobbly everywhere.
And Tin missing his phone and missing him entirely is so painful because he has no idea. He has no idea what Tol saw or what Tol just found out and just... auuugh. Especially when he calls him later? That's rough.
This is going to end badly. I can already tell.
Yes, yes he did steal your nephew's kidney. You're right. Thank you for saying it.
Oh no, Tol in the clock tower alone with no idea what's happening to Tin and, honestly, no way of finding out until much later. I AM LOST. LOST. Damnit. Poor boys. UGH.
And now I have to wait a WEEK!?!?!
Tol, baby, I'm sorry you're waiting but he's kinda bleeding out right now.

This playlist is comprised of songs that you would play on a long flight or rainy day. On those particular days you’re either resting or reflecting on things to make the time pass. I happened to put this playlist together in the passenger seat, of a long car ride. The smooth but melancholy feeling that you get from these tracks execute the theme perfectly. In this playlist, you’ll hear the likes of PARTYNEXTDOOR, Kanye West, Drake, Saba, and dwn2earth.
“30 Hours” -Kanye West
Tumblr media
This song rings in my head until this day because of the addicting loop in the background sung by Andre 3000. I discovered this track my freshman year of high school, I remember walking through the hallways listening to it in between classes. On this track Kanye is speaking from a higher place but a vulnerable one simultaneously. With lines like “Im remember rapping for Jay and Cam, a young producer just tryna get his flows off, I remember being nervous to do Victoria Secret
'Til I pictured everybody with they clothes off” These lines give us some foresight into his past, rapping about how he started in the music industry and opening up about being nervous to do something when the Kanye we know today isn’t nervous about
“30 for 30 freestyle” -Drake
Tumblr media
I didn’t have to go through any rabbit holes to find this song just like the previous song, this is by a top mainstream artist. The keys on this song make up the melody and the drums are subtle but apparent. The title is foreshadowing as he goes into reflecting on his career but aside from his career, the things he’s seeing. When he raps “I'm talking bigger shit than you and I
Kids'll lose their lives, got me scared of losing mine
And if I hold my tongue about it, I get crucified” With the current climate of society being even worse then what it was in 2015, those words still ring true in 2023.
“Prom / King” -Saba
Tumblr media
I discovered this song through the creator Shawn Cee. This eight minute track packs so much emotion, literally taking you through the motions. The chicago MC takes you through adolescence, to present day leaving it all in the booth. The instrumentation is always important but the words fill every void on this track. The opening line sets the tone “This remind me of before we had insomnia
Sleepin' peacefully, never needed a pile of drugs”
“AROUND 10” Dwn2earth
Tumblr media
Again, through creator Shawn Cee I was put onto Dwn2earth in 2021. I fell in love with the way this track sounded but the content is what made it suitable for a rainy day. The singer sings about the current conditions of his relationship with a line like “Even when we f*ck girl, we arguing” he’s speaking to having conflict with someone while being sexually intimate, usually sex resolves conflict so it appears as a conundrum.
“ANOTHER DAY” - PARTYNEXTDOOR
Tumblr media
After initially not being one of my favorite albums upon the first couple listens, this song snuck up on me. As he continuously repeats “There’s always another day” it makes me think about how true that is no matter what you’re doing in life. In the song he’s speaking to being intimate with someone for the first time and taking time to wait. But, I had a different connection with the song as I explained.
In conclusion, these songs impact you in a way that only you feel when you have time to feel all of subconscious thoughts and emotions lurking. This playlist helps you sit through you and enjoy introspection more than you usually would.

Existential Magazine’s August Music Roundup
Tumblr media
With the month coming to a close, we’re sharing just a handful of our favourite new releases we’ve discovered this July! Sit back, put on our New Music Friday playlist and spend a few minutes enjoying fresh new tunes hand-picked by us.
Jethro Coups - ‘Hey You’
London based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jethro Coups gracefully leads us into our Roundup for the month, debuting his first ever single ‘Hey You’, a dreamy haze of acoustics, indie and alt-rock stylings blended into one wistfully ethereal cloud. Soaring in with gorgeously bright plucked acoustic guitar strings and a mystical, subtle synth fade, ‘Hey You’ immediately feels enclasped within a warm but tender bedding of sound, like the familiarity of a close friend beside you comforting through your darker moments. This looping acoustic guitar riff weaves its way through the building layers of sound, wrapped between rising synth glows and occasional vibrant pops before the second verse shifts into more instrumental additions. A steady beat pushes things along lightly whilst violin-esque strings join into the mix, later seeing the addition of an emphatic electric guitar riff for the bridge’s intermission. With a sound that’s constantly ebbing and flowing in a way that almost feels alive in its shifting streams, ‘Hey You’ is graced by the clean but emotionally-rich vocals of Jethro atop it all, hauntingly cascading through an agile range that complements the track’s rising and falling sonics. A poignant message only makes this touching track all the more lingering as Jethro tells the story of an personal, semi-lucid conversation had with a loved one at the end of their life, taking inspiration from his own grief. Between lines like ‘I’m still here, you’ve been gone for far too long, I thought you’d disappeared’, it’s impossible not to feel the aching resonance carried all the way through, whilst Jethro also tries to find some peace in continuing to live after those he’s loved have been taken away. Graceful in its sound and message, ‘Hey You’ glimmers out like a hopeful serenade sung to someone in their final moments, stripping them of their fear and giving them visions of serenity whilst in a way allowing the same to those who must live on without them.
Love Ghost & Dan García - ‘Glock’
Collaborating with the Mexican rapper Dan García, the well-known emo and pop-punk blend duo Love Ghost have just released their latest heavy-hitting new single ‘Glock’ that packs a punch - literally. Embracing gritty electric guitar strums and dominant, constantly consuming electronic beats, ‘Glock’ carries a lot of attitude in both its emo-rap vocal flow and vigorous instrumentals. With Dan García offering a raspy hip-hop-esque delivery atop this harsh sound while Love Ghost shift into more hoarse whispers and light screamo, ‘Glock’ is a track you’ll be completely infectiously hooked on through every twist and turn. Lyrically, ‘Glock’ is in one half written in Latin for Dan García’s harder trap segments, and shifts into more of an English emo rap styling for Love Ghost’s second half interruption. Inspired by both artist's love for competitive fighting, the lyricism speaks of unleashing your inner beast and embracing the person you try to keep within a cage, singing ‘the freak inside the cage, succumbs to all his rage.’ Unashamed and carrying a lot of pent-up aggression, ‘Glock’ is here to offer you that outburst we all need every so often, pulling you into it’s controlling soundscape and gripping you tightly with its bloody fists. Garnering similarities to that of MGK and CORPSE’s ‘DAYWALKER!’ amidst other acts like Scarlxrd and Ghostemane, Glock’ is a highly addictive two minute slice of volatile energy, angsty tones and lyrics you can’t help but mouth along to regardless of whether it’s your first listen or your fiftieth.
Live in Color - ‘Yes To Me’
The Swedish pop-rock band Live in Colour have been gracing the music scene since 2018, continually combining emphatic pop hooks with the energy and velocity of rock, and their newest single ‘Yes To Me’ is the perfect introduction to what they have to offer. Fizzling in with a synth-beat pulsation and deep bass twangs, the instrumentals unite for an almost retro disco edge that immediately gets you ready to groove along, appreciating the vibrant energy seeping out the track’s three and a half minutes of euphoric tones. Soon accompanied by drum beats, bright keys and progressively growing synth undertones, ‘Yes To Me’ is an experience that finds itself the longer it plays out, building confidence not just in its instruments but also its message. The chorus explodes into a firework-esque explosion, with each instrumental reaching their dominant peak and shimmering into the most mesmerising entanglement together for a true burst of colour. In its clashing drums, backing vocals, synth pops and keyboard riffs, ‘Yes To Me’ falls into place, all the while their vocalist dances atop the soundscape with the perfect amount of clean charisma and self-assured repertoire. With a poignant message buried within its positive tones, Live in Color sing of choosing yourself even when it’s hard, letting go of someone no longer serving you despite harbouring a deep amount of love for them and moving forward alone for your own growth and benefit: ‘the hardest thing I’ve ever done is saying no to you… the hardest thing that I ever did is saying yes to me.’ Reminiscent of acts like Walk The Moon and Coldplay, Live in Color are here to keep breaking down genre expectations and deliver something utterly unique and completely inspiring, and we’re certain ‘Yes To Me’ achieved that and more.
Katie Belle - ‘Symptoms’
Katie Belle, the talented up-coming pop artist from Georgia, has been taking the music scene by storm since she entered, now bearing her newest edgy hit ‘Symptoms’ that’s utterly mesmerising. Wrapped between looping acoustic guitar strums and a half-clapped, half-thudding beat, ‘Symptoms’ immediately soars with an unrelenting groove you’re completely compelled to dance along with. A synth haze soon flows into the soundscape, adding an atmospheric air to the track’s infectious feel, all before the choruses’ deliciously sweet hooks ring out. As a funky bassline adds a new level of swagger to the song’s attitude while the beats grow more prominent and in-your-face, this dominant interlude really takes the reigns, urging you sing along loud even when you’re still learning the words. Katie’s airy but confident vocal delivery is the cherry on top, with a breathy verse adding allure before the choruses’ more self-assured, sultry lines exert an extra layer of dominance, together intertwining with the sound for a journey you’ll hardly be able to tear yourself away from. Singing of a passionate relationship filled with heat and tension as well as an almost toxic cyclical nature and addiction, ‘Symptoms’ captures that overpowering kind of love you just can’t get enough of, getting withdrawals from being apart. Perhaps knowing better of it, Katie sings ‘one more hit like an addiction’, displaying a knowing that this relationship is one that’s unhealthy and yet continually drawn back in for just one more time. If you’ve found yourself getting similar symptoms, Katie’s new pop-bop anthem ‘Symptoms’ is the perfect slice of infectious sound and memorable lyricism you’ll get a rush out of singing loud and on repeat for days.
Plant Dad - ‘Ophelia’
The newest single ‘Ophelia’ from the glowing indie-pop and dream-pop blender Plant Dad continues his staple resonant sunny feel, complemented by his band Jake Fine on drums, Jack Jahries on bass, Matt Hurd on guitar, and Will Lauzon on pedal steel. Led in with vibrant electric guitar strums and a thudding beat, as well as the most colourful pops of synth that shimmer through the atmospheric sound, ‘Ophelia’ right away feels like floating on a cloud. Settling into just the steady beat and intermittent guitar plucks for the verse, an intimate feel somewhat takes over, slowly building back up with an ever ebbing and flowing sound of delicacy and intricacy. The chorus re-introduces backing synth flourishes while an evolving electric guitar riff dazedly plays out, sung over by the lightly subdued vocals of Plant Dad, a hazy and airy indie and lo-fi laced delivery. Grazing through a dainty higher range and falling back to occasional melancholic lows, the way Plant Dad sings is completely mesmerising, a beautiful serenade that feels directed personally towards you while you listen along. A multi-faceted lyrical meaning makes ‘Ophelia’ all the more powerful, ringing out with what sounds like a typical love song for a typical goody-two shoes character, yet beneath it all Plant Dad truly sings of his own depression from the outside looking in. You’d never anticipate it from the warm sound and mesmerising lyrics, and yet upon a second listen it’s hard to think of anything else through poignant lines like ‘I’m worried about her, I said baby are you all messed up? Now she likes to ignore me when I ask her that.’ As Plant Dad almost tries to understand himself and his quirks, ‘Ophelia’ is perhaps that song we all need to see our beauty through our pain, falling in love with ourselves despite what holds us down. Produced by Sean Mercer and mastered by Mat Lefler-Schulmann, ‘Ophelia’ is a gorgeously easy-going blanket of sound you’ll find yourself comforted to be surrounded by, meticulously formed through the hard work of many.
Chasing Shadows - ‘Emily’
Since their 2016 musical debut, the up-coming quartet known as Chasing Shadows have been gracing the music scene with addictive tracks worthy of being played loud and on repeat, and their newest single ‘Emily’ is no exception. Channelling a broad mix of indie-rock and pop-punk textures, ‘Emily’ soars from the get-go with an infectiously bright but rocky sound perfect for dancing away late summer nights. As vibrant thudding drum beats and emphatic but rough electric guitar strums lead things in, the soundscape of ‘Emily’ is right away completely mesmerising, carving out a sound that’s easy to listen to but stylistically creative. The pre-chorus shifts into a dreamy haze, cascading through a colourful electric guitar riff and a shifted building drum beat, heightening everything for the atmospheric choruses’ peak. Capturing a real sense of nostalgia, the chorus soars through more light electric guitar strums, a continued clashing beat and closes out with a riff you just can’t get enough of. Their vocalist’s slightly raspy, rich tone complements the sound like he was made for it, delivering more casual verse lines before rising into a higher range for the choruses’ gorgeous hooks, offering an indie performance just as delectable as the greats. Deep bass twangs add a new layer of depth to the second verses impact, as the song progressively grows in what it has to offer. Telling a lyrical narrative of falling head over heels for a girl, ‘Emily’ is a sweet revealing of these hidden feelings, knowing that no one else compares: ‘tryna find another small town girl like you… nobody could replace you.’ With all their tracks ladened with contagious guitar riffs, thunderous energy and a constantly bounding tempo, ‘Emily’ is the perfect addition to Chasing Shadows’ growing discography - as well as your playlist.
the ghost tapes - ‘ballad for the twenty something’
The Northern-island based duo the ghost tapes have just two songs within their discography: their debut release ‘barely holding on’ shared last year, and their new offering ‘ballad for the twenty something.’ Taking their time to carefully curate and pen their releases, this new single is one stemming from personal experience and a sound clearly perfected to the tee. Initially led in by acoustic guitar strums and a soft electric guitar riff left to ring out, ‘ballad for the twenty something’ shines as something raw and real when it first commences, stripped-back to place almost the entirety of focus on their vocalist’s delicately sung lines. As he carefully weaves between the intimate sounds and displays an almost pop-punk-esque whine in his emotionally delivered lines, it’s hard not to be mesmerised by every word. Soft backing vocals add a haunting edge to the chorus, laying down a tranquil bedding to rest within, but it’s not long before this perfect image comes crashing down as gritty electric guitar strums and striking drum beats take over the new verse. The song becomes much more dominant and empowered within this shift, and it’s not long before a guitar riff adds an additional emphatic flair to their ever-growing sound. Merging opening soft-rock with clashing alt-rock that only becomes more industrial and fuzzy the longer the track plays out, the ghost tapes are here to not just give you a song to enjoy but an entire whirlwind of a journey to follow through with. Just as poignant as the initially paired-back sound would have you believe, the ghost tapes speak of an equally heavy narrative we could all do with hearing every once in a while, touching on the pressures that come to have your life figured out in your twenties. With lines like ‘compare yourself to everybody’ serving a sense of reassurance you’re not alone in your directionless career changes and relationship searches, this anthem is one everyone needs to be reminded of, as the ghost tapes hope to alleviate some of the pressure you place on yourself to have it all figured out.
Goldthrone - ‘Scale It Down’
The second single ever ‘Scale It Down’ from Australia-based alternative-rockers Goldthrone closes out our Roundup for the month, displaying a ferocious hard-rock edge with alternative-rock angst. Led in by a slow and intimate guitar riff, ‘Scale It Down’ almost feels eerily and unexpectedly soft, but it’s not long before this tranquil intro is cut short and replaced with a heavy wall of sound. Opening with a chorus that bears thundering drums, gritty electric guitar strums and hoarse vocals, ‘Scale It Down’ right-away seeks to set its anthemic tone, pulling you right into its harsh soundscape from the get-go. The verse simmers down slightly, revolving around a looping electric guitar riff and more sombre steady drum beats, allowing their vocalist’s emotional richness to shine through in every raspy word sung. A pre-chorus takes even more of a step back, with haunting vocals over just guitar strums ringing out into the vast open soundscape, infusing moments of delicate personal resonance with a constant explosion of rock-y tenacity. As the track progresses, the soundscape does too, creating not just a song to be listened to but an experience to follow along ever ebb and flow of. Goldthrone have penned a narrative in ‘Scale It Down’ that’s just as meaningful as this ever evolving sound, writing of taking back your own power and accepting that sometimes things don’t always have meaning or reason to have happened. As many often seek to find closure in misfortune, ‘Scale It Down’ is a reminder that sometimes closure can be found within simply by letting go, and seeking answers that don’t exist can sometimes do more damage than good. For an abundance of emphatic rock in soaring riffs, shattering drums and poignant vocals, Goldthrone have got you covered in this smashing new tune.

Jungkook Twin Flame Reading
A little post in honour of Jungkook’s birthday after which I’ll be taking a break :)
 Jungkook Twin Flame Reading
The relationship dynamic between Jungkook and his TF is so interesting to me. To say that they are made for each other is a huge understatement. If human beings have several layers and levels to their being, then it is safe to say that Jungkook and his TF are compatible at every level; that’s how “destined” they are. Even if you take away the spiritual aspect of their connection and just focus on the earthly, physical dimension, they are the type of people who would be instantly drawn to each other. It’s not enough said that they are each other’s type. They could walk into a room full of people and instantly pick the other. Each has the physical appearance that the other finds attractive, the personality that the other admires, and their overall goals and ambitions in life too are very compatible. Whether they hit each other up at the bar, met in a park, hooked up on Tinder, or had an arranged marriage, it doesn’t matter— they would end up together. It’s like in the movie ‘The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’, where the protagonists erase each other’s memories repeatedly but still end up falling in love every time they meet again. Now you would say, how nice for them, that must make their TF journey so much easier than others’, but (very) interestingly, no, it makes it just the more difficult.
Since they are so obviously compatible, picking each other is an obvious option. It’s like, I don’t need to be divinely guided to pick you; I’d do it anyway. And this is what makes the connection so confusing because there are literally 2 Levels in this connection: 1, where they can just be together as partners or spouses or whatever other earthly relationship term they want to subscribe to, and 2, where they can show up as the Divine Masculine and Feminine and hence have a higher dimensional connection. The difference between these 2 options is that the 1st, while not terrible, would be a mere earthly connection wherein both operate from their wounded selves and therefore their love has conditions, projections, and therefore hurts and problems. This type of relationships is not very uncommon to find and one might even argue that what’s so bad with that? Every relationship has problems. That’s normal. But then I urge you to ask yourselves, is it normal or it is normalized? Also, it might be commonly seen, but with their potential to be Twin Flames, Jungkook and his DF are not here to have a “normal” connection. And they are definitely not here to subscribe to the normalized version of love as it exists in the world right now. As TF counterparts, they have been given a choice to opt for more, also known in the TF community as creating new relationship templates. This is why I had mentioned in one of my previous posts that simply being born and then meeting your TF counterpart does not automatically make you each other’s Twin Flames— it only makes you “potential” TFs. It’s only when you show up as your most authentic or Divine self that you are actually “being” TFs. This is not a very simple phenomenon to understand and a lot of times, TF counterparts meet each other and are caught up in the earthly, or lower chakra attraction that they feel for each other. This looks like intense sexual attraction, daydreaming and overthinking about each other, and being almost addicted to each other. Is this a very bad thing? No, definitely not. Understand that the lower chakras represent our earthly existence and as such, all experiences stemming from them ground us onto that aspect of life and done right, it’s a beautiful experience. Also, one thing I disagree with a lot of people about is that the TF connection is not romantic. Oh but it is! The TF connection is not a fairytale. Heck yeah it is! But I also understand where they are coming from. I think the problem is in the way the words “romance” and “fairytale” are perceived these days. I don’t know about you, but fairytales to me are all about boy meets girl, fall in love, want to be together but problems arise, misunderstandings happen, third parties interfere, sorrows and tears, breakthrough, problem-solving, maybe even some fights, songs and dances, and finally, union. This don’t look like the TF connection to you? Of course, the TF journey is not so oversimplified, linear or one-dimensional, and doesn’t end in like 1 ½ hours. But that’s still the gist though. As for romance, again, I earnestly think the meaning of romance is so skewed right now, it makes me sad. As far as I have lived (and loved), romance has never been just about wining and dining, flowers and chocolates, singing and dancing (although they are a part of that and a very fun one at that). For me, the TF connection is romance at its peak. If romance is defined as the expression of love and affection, then there can be absolutely nothing more romantic than a person who would stop at NOTHING to be with you, to the point that they would take an axe and strike down their own ego, burn and destroy themselves over and over again to be their most authentic self because they see you and think, you’re worth it. So many people in the world right now would rather replace you with someone else simply because they are too proud to look into themselves and heal their wounds that are stopping them from experiencing true love, and continue living with their masks on. Masked people bringing flowers and diamonds and basically everything else other than their heart has never been a romantic notion for me. But yes, the skewed definition of romance these days does not accommodate such depth of the emotion and expression of love, so it’s limited to being perceived (and executed) as materialistic and surface-level exhibition.
TFs, upon meeting each other for the first time, experience all of these earthly tendencies. In itself, it’s not a bad thing at all. It’s sweet, spicy and exciting because seldom do you find a person that gets your heart racing like that. The “relationship” too, seems within your reach. But just when you reach out for them, the tower moments happen. This is when TFs realize that there is much more than what appears on the surface and you got to dig deeper. With Jungkook and his DF, it just was even more confusing because them being so compatible and an “obvious choice” for each other, the delays and the “ifs” and “buts” just did not make sense. This was especially Jungkook’s energy where he was more focused on the earthly manifestation of this connection because that’s what made sense to him— boy meets girl, fall in love, together bam! (Lol I had to make that joke cuz it’s a special day). He was also focused more on the external manifestations of problems in the connection, for example, he would think, I cannot be with the DF because of X, Y, Z. But the TF journey, like any other spiritual journey, will always teach you to look inward. Any problem and situation in life is always the external manifestation of something that is wrong inside, and therefore that’s where all solutions lie. On the other hand, as DFs are usually initiated into the spiritual journey first and are more concerned with that aspect of the connection (explained in detail in a previous post), his DF kept running away from him because Jungkook’s state of mind was not supportive of her spiritual quests. It’s important to understand that neither of them was consciously doing this; both did what they did because that’s what made sense to them at their level of healing. As the “lead” in this journey though, somehow it all started with the DF. She felt the call to opt for that higher dimension in their connection and to move away from him when he wasn’t in the ready state to even understand, let alone, support that spiritual aspect, which is what is known as the Separation— the part where both parties need to focus on their own healing. However, it’s one thing to know what to do, and quite another to embody that knowledge and act on it with the trust that everything will ultimately work out. So for a while, she too was caught up in her lower dimensional cravings. It’s safe to say that just like Jungkook, she was terrified of losing him because like I said, even in a non-TF way, they seemed so perfect for each other, you just do not want to miss the chance to at least give it a shot. But her soul would be tugging at her to complete the tasks that she had undertaken prior to incarnation, in other words, her soul contract, so she wouldn’t be able to be fully present in this connection either. And so she would do this thing where she would take a step forward towards her destiny and then look back at Jungkook where he was in his journey to see if he would join her. Repeatedly. But this connection IS about your soul journey, her indecision and mental to and fro would energetically keep Jungkook in an indecisive and back and forth state too. It’s like everytime she would look back to see if she was making a mistake, Jungkook would look back to see if he was making a mistake. This was keeping him attached to his karmic situations, which would then drain him, which would make him want his DF more to fill him up, which would create energy drainage for the DF which would ultimately repel the DF and she would want to run far, far away from him. This pushing him away in turn would hurt and confuse Jungkook and he would start doubting the connection and his self worth and start thinking that he doesn’t deserve her and that she is staying away from him because she isn’t interested in him and it’s all in his head, and so he would think of walking away from her before she leaves him. This is the push and pull dynamic in this connection and this was the loop that they were stuck in for a while.
Over time though, his DF has been inching closer and closer to her destined path, trying to find faith in herself, in the connection and in Jungkook and has been looking back less. Recognizing her role as the lead, she has had to make the difficult decision to solely focus on herself and put Jungkook out of her mind— a “whatever happens, happens, I’m not abandoning myself for anyone anymore” kind of a decision. This has been difficult for her because she has always naturally been someone who puts other people’s needs before her own. When she likes someone, it has always made sense for her to almost sacrifice all her needs and wants for the other person’s. However, this energy has never been reciprocated to her in her previous connections, and her life would always eventually turn out to be one where her needs were always in the backburner. As I had said in a previous post, when she first meets Jungkook, the way he treated her was quite different from others. While other men would make these big show of love while ignoring the smallest, most basic things about her, Jungkook was observant of the little subtle things about her and more importantly, always willing and even seeking to do things that felt tailormade for her. While other people made their moves with agenda, Jungkook had this energy of just vibing in the moment, doing little things, making her smile. It was like he had even forgotten to set a purpose or intention of interacting with her; he just did what he did because it made him so happy. This caused her to put down her guard and a connection was made. However, this connection, or specifically, the happiness and bliss in the connection did not last long because both were interacting from a co-dependent place— they were both doing things trying to seek happiness from the other, to fill an empty void in themselves. But as I discussed earlier, when you seek something outside of yourself, it is never enough because that void can only be filled by you. So, what started as a beautiful and fun connection started morphing into a confusing, draining and hurtful one. This was very the signal to start levelling up into a higher dimension of the connection— the connection in itself wasn’t wrong; it was just that it was established in a lower, 3D dimension that was keeping it embroiled in pain and struggle. The DF was the first to recognize this and felt it in her heart to first, individually level up. But as said earlier, she was constantly looking back in doubt, afraid she might just lose him, which, true to the TF connection, kept Jungkook stuck in a fear of losing her. When Jungkook is stuck in the energy of this fear for long enough, external problems would manifest to reflect and amplify that fear, which then, as I said, would make him want to leave her first before she could leave him, because he felt that he loved her too much to ever be able to bear the pain of his heart being broken by her.
In present times, his DF has been a lot more confident in herself and in this connection. This has happened because she has spent considerable amount of time healing her trauma patterns which has immensely increased her faith in the Divine and she is able to see this connection clearly, not just from a knowledge point of view, but also from a deep feeling. In the past, she was stuck in the confusion of “if he is right for me, then how does it make sense to leave him behind?”, the same confusion that Jungkook had. But then again, when she stayed behind, there would be all these differences of opinions between them and problems and hurt would ensue. Both saw each other as their destination and yet, the path each proposed to take was different. Jungkook took the more rational, practical path while his DF was inclined to the more spiritual, “listen to the Divine, have faith and let go” path. Incidentally, the spiritual path is not irrational either. The real, practical problems in their connection did not go unnoticed by the DF. She noticed the co-dependency, the fact that she was constantly putting her own needs behind to try to address his needs and also the fact that even after that, Jungkook was still stuck in fear, doubt, confusion and misery. But more than anything else, she saw the once-beautiful connection deteriorate every day. This was painful to her because from the moment she saw Jungkook, as an intuitive and foresighted woman, she knew he was the one, and that this would be a beautiful and fulfilling connection, and the start had even been that way. The intense attraction, waiting for each other everyday, daydreaming when they were alone, every love song finally making sense— stuff straight out of a movie or a romance novel. But this reality kept slipping off, and it hurt her to see it all go down the drain. So when she realized that this connection needed to be anchored to a higher frequency, she had to make the choice of walking away from him to work on herself. She knew that she wasn’t being her most authentic, divine self, and as such, wouldn’t be able to create an authentic and divine connection. While in the past she was afraid of being judged by him for the choices and decisions she made, more recently she has stepped into the confidence that living her life from her heart is not something she should ever be afraid of, and if Jungkook is the divinely destined partner that she thought he was, he would never stand in the way of her living a life that made her happy. She also knew that unless she heals herself from her own trauma and wounds, she would not be able to love him right either. She isn’t perfect and in the past she has done many a hurtful things to people she loved and she is afraid unhealed, she would do the same to Jungkook. In this energy, she foresees the connection to become riddled with problems and trauma bonding and she would rather leave him and this connection right this instant where it is still relatively peaceful, than create a reality where they hurt each other that much. It’s funny that in her past relationships, whenever she hurt her partner, she would feel guilty for behaving that way more because she feels it was beneath who she is, but on hindsight she will be like, well they still deserved it for being complete jerks to me. But with Jungkook, she feels like she wouldn’t be able to ever willingly hurt him because she believes he doesn’t deserve to ever be treated that way, so it could only mean that in such a state, she would only hurt herself each time and she didn’t want that for herself either, so she feels like she’d rather stay away from him and the connection than cause all that. This is similar to how Jungkook feels about her as well, which is why no matter how tough it gets for him to go on without her, he always reminds himself that he couldn’t possibly with her until he became capable enough to give her all the happiness that she deserves, so that’s where they would mirror each other. And yet, everytime he feels empty, he wants to reach out to her. However, as the DF has started becoming confident in the connection, and stopped looking back in doubt, Jungkook has been feeling confident too. The more she heals, he heals. Now, they are both on their adventures of finding themselves while still recognizing the presence and impact of this connection in their lives. I think they’ve both realized that trying to escape this connection is a lost war. Instead they are embracing it and letting it guide them while still learning to put themselves first. Even after all the doubts and fears, their destination still remains the same, and the path seems to be aligning as well because they are both trying to meet each other halfway. Will there be anymore problems, confusion, doubts, fears, anger, frustration? Maybe, maybe not. But like I always say, that’s not the point of life at all. Nor is that the point of relationships. Problems might still arise but unlike in the past, they won’t be swept into co-dependency. The DF has learnt to listen to her heart every time, even if Jungkook does not agree with her and will address Jungkook’s needs only when she has ensured that her own needs are met first. In return, Jungkook has learnt to trust that his DF’s path will never be separate from his— time and time again, he has seen his DF return to him, never ceasing to love him and he has learnt to trust more in the Divine to give him what he believes belongs to him. Soon enough, they will be whole, complete and happy enough on their own accord and this will create a harmonious and blissful interdependent connection between them with the earthly intense attraction as well as the divine peaceful stability.
Just to avoid an abrupt end, let me share one of my favourite quotes that aptly defines this journey (except add “vice versa”):
“A woman's heart should be so hidden in God that a man has to seek Him just to find her.”
― Maya Angelou
Happy 24th birthday Jungkook, I hope you always know and remember that you are well loved, not because the person or the people who love you are good people, but because you deserve to be loved always. What is yours will never pass you by and what you seek, seeks you I promise. You will see, in time. Every single thing in this connection and in this journey might not make sense and it might seem long and dragged out, but if you want the other person to consider your needs, you must consider theirs too. That is true love. And it is yours. You’ve worked for it and you’ve earned it. Your DF wants you as much as you want her. But she won’t give herself to you unless she deems herself as someone you deserve and you deserve the best. She knows you already think she’s perfect but she also knows that you have the biggest, the kindest and the most accommodating heart and you would never make anyone feel lesser than. But she’s adamant lol. She says, Jungkook deserves the best and he will have the best. Please allow her the time and space to do this not just for you but also for herself— allow her to heal her insecurities so she never feels small and insignificant anywhere she goes. Don’t forget that your destination is the same. Allow her to take a different path once in a while if she so pleases, and don’t be afraid to do the same. Do what YOU want to do and what is best for you. Always. If it hurts her ego, best believe that it is HER problem to take care of. If you are meant to be, mistakes and slip ups will never get in the way of that. If you are meant to be, neither of you should ever have to hide any part of yourselves. Trust that being your most authentic selves, no matter how odd, shameful and unforgiving it might seem to you, will always bring you closer. That’s just what unconditional love is. That’s what you are divinely created to have. If you have to hide, pretend and suppress any part of you to please the other, it’s just not love, and believe you me, your connection won’t last that way. I know it’s scary, to show those parts of yourself to another, parts that even you haven’t been able to accept, embrace or forgive, then how are they going to do that? She knows and she fears the same about herself. But know that you both have to show up as who you are, otherwise this connection remains a daydream and an illusion, the bubble of which will burst sooner or later. You both have been given the opportunity to create something that is not just missing but is needed in this world right now. Take it and make the best out of it. At the end of your lives, as you sit on your porch, watching the sunset together, you will get to look back in triumph and gratitude for one hell of an adventure. Happy birthday once again! May this day be the start to the best, happiest, most fun, most exciting, most exotic, most peaceful, most authentic and most soul-ly fulfilling life you have ever wanted.
P.S. I really wanted to make a small and compact post but for some reason I rambled on and also I feel so tired after this I want to go to sleep immediately. I don’t have the energy to see what I’ve written anymore so I hope it all made sense. See you after my break! PPS. :) :) :)

I'm still processing Season 6 and as an unpopular opinion I'm not too happy about it as a whole. I feel horrible for not enjoying it as much as the Cast/Crew would like me to, but I just can’t change this feeling I have.
Just to clear my head I'll write the things down that irked me. I don't want to start any discussion, they're only my thoughts on stuff ‘n thangs. Huge spoilers ahead, please don’t read if you haven’t watched.
Michael
I admit it, I have probably more sympathy for the bad twin than I should. And after the whole S5 I thought we get a bit more closure with him. I didn’t expect a redemption arc, after Michael killed Remiel, Dan and Chloe it would have felt wrong. But after the “Everyone deserves a second chance” the dude is down in hell, scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush. Really, Lucifer? That’s cruel after such a righteous line.
When Luci realized he could help everyone, even if he hated them, I hoped for a dive into the twins’ relationship but it was like Michael didn’t even existed anymore. And if someone needed therapy it would be the twin with the huge inferior complex. That could have been so interesting. (I had hoped that he'd sat on the couch at the end, but noooo we get the Frenchman.. such a disappointment.)
Maybe Tom Ellis didn’t want to play 2 roles again, or there was no time, but I feel that was a huge opportunity wasted.
What even was the plan of Michael? To get God to retire and wreck havoc on earth to get Dad back, so Mickey can take over as the new God? And then what? Wipe out humanity? I see no endgame here.
Ella
I liked Ella’s Story so far. But she stole the personal file of Carol and even broke into his house.. and everybody is cool with this? Carol might be crushing on Ella pretty hard but if somebody tells you they broke into your house, because they feared you were hiding something bad, You run for the hills. But the dude isn’t even phased.
I’m glad Carol is a good guy, though. Even if he’s kind of bland.
Ella finding out the truth on her own came out of nowhere. I would have found it better if they would have her act a little suspicious over the whole S5. But since they wrote S6 while S5 was shot, a little to late for this.
The scene at the wedding was amazing. I had so much fun with her outburst there.
Dan
Ghost!Dan was my favorite by far in this season. And I really liked how he wanted to help and tried to find out what he still felt guilty about.
I am so glad he got to spend his afterlife with Charlotte and I laughed so hard with the pudding. Didn’t expect that, in a positive matter. :D
The scene with Trixie killed me. Bawled so hard as soon as Kevin got teary eyes. That really gripped at my heartstrings.
But how could he go to heaven while in a body of a killer when his daughter stands right next to that killer?
Comedy-wise Dan is top notch
Trixie
I missed her so much.
It felt like she was an afterthought with everything. She recently lost her Dad and Chloe spends most of the time with Lucifer. I really missed the scenes with her and Luci, they always were so adorable.
They explain it later that she’s at a science camp, but I honestly thought Chloe chooses Lucifer (and later Rory too) over her.
She wasn’t at Chloe’s deathbed but here I’m not sure if the scene with Rory isn’t placed somewhere at the threshold to heaven where only celestials are able to enter. But if she wasn’t there because Chloe sidelined her in favor of Rory, then I can understand her absence.
Linda
I love Linda, she always gives good advice but nobody’s ever took it.
Her book probably would fly under the fantasy tag if she ever published it. Still, it felt cringey.
It was so sad that she thought she was a bad therapist.
Apparently she wants to keep helping celestials because it’s better than helping humans. In the end, celestials have the same problems as humans just on a bigger scale. But okay.
Amenadiel
Amenacop was good, and a nice nod to Dan who put in the application.
It made him realize that he only can change things when he has more power. I’m white and no american so I don’t know if the BLM theme there was well enough executed. Got me wondering.
The apocalypse just being Angels who are incompetent was a letdown. Like this whole season.
I really like him as god. And I am glad he took the position in the end. Even if he could have decided this a bit earlier.
Rory
I like her sarcasm and her character.
Didn’t like the whole time travel, time loop and daughter spiel. I’m not a big fan of time travels or couples getting a kid just for the sake of a happy end or to add extra drama. I could have lived without a Deckerstar baby. Instead they could have focused on Trixie for a change.
The time she spent with Lucifer on the 4th August was precious though.
How in hell did the Frenchman capture her? How did he even know how she looked? IIRC Dan hasn’t seen Rory while in that body. Dan just went over to Trixie that’s why I thought he’d capture her and not Rory.
Lucifer
He found his calling to help the souls in hell only because Rory traveled back in time? No man, he already took the step with Jimmy Barnes in preparation to take over as god. I don’t think it’s far fetched to believe that he would have the same epiphany without Rory there.
But without Rory, he wouldn’t have been helping Ghost!Dan to go to heaven. Though, before Rory traveled back in time, Lucifer was already trying to help Dan. They probably would have needed more time to figure out about what Dan felt guilty about, but figure it out anyways.
How did he even got Chloe pregnant? Was it his subconscious deciding he was ready to be a father? Amenadiel had to believe that he was human to get Linda pregnant. Or maybe it’s because they always thought they couldn’t impregnate a human and self-actualized it that way. Anyways, it’s a tiny hang-up I have with it.
Somebody else besides me thought that the scene in the panic room was awkwardly long? I know they thought Lucifer would vanish somehow, but it seemed too much to me.
His singsong while the magician talked about the trick. :D
I don’t want to even get into the whole time loop thing because I think it’s ridiculous(ly bad).
It took a lot of time for him to realize that he didn’t want to be god, after he put it on hold for a second time. Even Chloe could have asked him if that is really what he wanted. Could have spared us an episode or so. Why is the communication on this show so bad? Q.Q
I loved that he helped Maze with Eve to get the wedding back on after their fight.
He didn’t say goodbye to Trixie  - again. What a nice step-devil..
It’s been Chloe, Rory and his family since he found out she’s his daughter. Not even mentioning the one kid who probably loved him before even Chloe fell for him.
For someone who is all about free will and led a rebellion against God for it, he was quick to accept that he has a “fate”. I thought he’d find another way, or at least try to. Nope, he just did what his child wanted. And they disguised it at his “choice”. Doesn’t look like a choice to me if your daughter begs you for it and you have to promise it. Just getting along with what your child wants.
Why does everyone need to shoot him? Just cut him until he bleeds. The Americans and their fixation on guns. Nice parallel to Chloe though.
Lucifer trying to fix the relationship to Rory with gifts was so cringey. I don’t know why but I couldn’t watch him sing/dance in that scene.
Both him and Amenadiel didn’t want to become like their Dad because of the reasons stated in S5, yet Lucifer exactly did. Another letdown.

Chloe
As soon as she knew Rory was her and Lucifer’s daughter it was all only about Lucifer and Rory. No thought of Trixie? I understand she was worried about being a bad mother to Rory, but come on, you’re being a bad mother to your first child right now.
She was ready to go to heaven with Lucifer. And Trixie does what exactly without her parents? Living with her Grandma because one of her parent died and the other one is abandoning her? It’s like the writers forgot about Trixie while forcing Rory on us.
The addiction to the necklace got old pretty fast.
And that whole fight against Lucifer felt unnecessary just to add more drama.
She gets mad at Lucifer for not telling her everything while not telling him that she went back to the LAPD. It’s Lucifer, he always has things on his plate. Double moral, pretty much.
She looked so gorgeous at the wedding, oh my god.
Most of the Deckerstar scenes were good. I got tired of the obvious naked cuddle times, surprisingly. Somehow it felt not like the ones in S5 and it bothered me.
I thought Chloe would finally get to know about everything Lucifer did for her, but I didn’t expect her to read it in Linda’s book. And that she only took away that he left her every time they had an emotional breakthrough.
They spend Lucifer’s last day at the beach and once again, no thought of Trixie. I’m sorry I repeat myself here so often. But this whole season wronged Trixie so much.
They face the baddie without any backup.  At least get Amenadiel with you.
Other things
The use of music between scenes was too much for me. Got annoying at some point.
I appreciate that they wanted to show us snippets of past Deckerstar scenes but here too, I felt like it was too much.
Couldn’t really follow the timeline. Maybe it were the cuts.
What’s been the point of bringing Adam into the mix? Just to wrap up Maze and Eve’s story? For Linda having another celestial to therapy?
The animation in the Jimmy Barnes Hell loop was AMAZING. I laughed so hard.
I’m not saying that Deckerstar shouldn’t have sacrificed everything for the time loop to stay intact, I say that the whole daughter-time travel plot shouldn’t have had happened. They never even talked about having kids, and then ignore the whole existence of the one kid that’s already there.
I really need all the Michaella fanfics, please. My first ship that’s actually a raft, because they never officially have met. RIP lmao
The acting was great as usual, all my problems come from the writing and the plot.
In the end, I really feel frustrated, underwhelmed and disappointed by the whole season. I didn’t have high expectations other than the same writing quality like S5. My excitement for that Season died as soon as Rory told Lucifer that she’s his daughter, to be honest. I waited for a plot twist that never came. Then the whole time loop shit.  I’d rather have waited one more year for S6 if the plot would have made more sense, since this felt like a first draft of a whole other show. And now I wished that S5 would have been the last season. If I could travel back in time, I’d rather not watch S6.
I can honestly live with the fact that Luci and Chloe are in hell, trying to help souls to get to heaven. (But hello, not the murderers perhaps? Or I want Michael sitting on that couch right now.) But the fact that both “chose” to sacrifice their time together with their family and friends just because it’s fate now and parents have to make sacrifices for their children; and anyways there’s an afterlife because (human) life is just a blip in our existence… nah thank you. I do not want it.
I’m probably not gonna rewatch S6 anytime soon.

—————
For once, the silence of the night was comforting.
“What is this?” Negan whispered in the dark of his cell. His finger looped through the chain around your neck, feeling the shell casing you had attached to it.
You had needed him that night, slipping into his cell after everyone had gone to bed. Negan hadn’t even hesitated to pull you into his arms on his cot, wrapping his long arms around your waist and down your sides. He hadn’t waited any time to press his lips against yours as his hands explored your body that was pressed up against him.
Your hands had moved on their own accord, pulling him towards you to fill that need that was almost an addiction. Now, as you lay beneath the blanket with the cool night air filtering through the small window, Negan looked down at you with love in his eyes.
Your hand found his and played with the makeshift pendant as well. “Daryl found it,” you whispered back. “It’s one of mine from the war,” you explained.
“Where did he find it?” Negan asked, furrowing his brow as his fingers caressed the brass beveling.
“The Sanctuary,” you said, letting your eyes close as his hand moved from your necklace to your neck. “I guess I made my mark there more than I thought.”
“You definitely made an impression,” Negan said as he leaned down and pressed his lips against your pulse point, letting his teeth graze against the sensitive skin of your neck, but you had caught a double-meaning in his words.
“What do you mean?” you asked, pushing him back.
“What?” Negan asked, looking at you with heavy eyes.
“Why did you say that like you knew me before all of...this?” you asked. “Did I miss our introduction or something?” Negan was silent for a moment before he nodded.
“I... I knew who you were the whole time my people were fighting yours,” he admitted. “I noticed you that first night in the clearin’. You were so...resilient even though you were out of it for most of it. I could tell by the way you responded to everything that you weren’t someone to fuck with. Then, I began to notice you later when I would visit Alexandria and then Jadis mentioned something.”
“Jadis?” you asked, confused.
“She knew you, right?”
“Briefly,” you said. You had been with Rick when the group had met the eccentric and odd woman. You didn’t think you had left that much of an impression on her. “I didn’t know her that well.”
“Well, she knew you,” Negan confirmed. “When she grabbed me after Rick tried to take me out, she told me that you were going to be the one to kill me if she didn’t do it. Not Rick, you.”
“I don’t understand,” you said.
“Jadis saw something in you, I guess,” he said, his hand reaching down to rub at your hip.
“She saw a killer.”
“I don’t know, but it didn’t matter because I had already had you in my sights. When you first came to see me in this cell, I pretended like I didn’t know who you were, but the truth is, I’ve always known.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Call me old fashioned, but I wanted to get to know you the regular way. You seemed to want to talk to me like I was just another man and not the killer you met all those years ago,” he said. “I didn’t want you to think I was judging you for what you had done in the past.”
“You wanted to know me and not the sniper,” you realized.
“Is that so terrible?” he asked. Looking up at him, you began to think about everything that had happened since you had begun to speak to him. Even further back, you looked at the war and how he had been before his time spent in isolation. There was a part of you that didn’t understand what it all meant, but there was a small bit that did. Perhaps he didn’t change that much, but instead, the man who lay in bed with you had always been there underneath the mask he wore.
It only took someone to love him to peel that layer away.
“No,” you answered, “it’s not terrible at all.” Negan gave you a soft smile and then you were pulling him down to you, kissing him firmly as he maneuvered himself to wrap your leg around his waist and together you fell into pure bliss.
------
It was early the next day when you ran into Michonne who was saddling up with Judith at her side.
“What’s this?” you asked, reaching down to rest your hands on Judith’s shoulder. The young girl looked up at you with a toothy grin that you returned.
“A tree went down in Hilltop,” Michonne explained. “Ezekiel called me this morning. The wall is down and Walkers are moving in fast.”
“Is anyone hurt?” you asked, your concern growing.
“A few, but nothing too major,” Michonne said. “The biggest problem is that Alpha’s herd is attacking now that they’re vulnerable and they need help. I’m taking some fighters with me to help, Judith too.”
“What do you need me to do?” you asked.
“Keep an eye on things here,” said Michonne. “Alpha’s Walkers are still showing up and tensions are very heavy right now with Lydia. I’m worried something may happen if people don’t keep calm.”
“I got it, don’t worry,” you said. Michonne then reached out and grabbed your shoulder.
“I know you do,” she said. “I hope you know that I will always trust your judgment, no matter what.” You paused at that and realized that you had actually needed to hear it. Especially from Michonne.
“Thanks, Michonne,” you said. “Tell Enid and the others I said hello, okay?”
“I will,” Michonne said and then you kneeled down to see Judith.
“Take care of your mom, okay? Don’t let her work herself too hard, okay little miss?” Judith smiled at you and offered you her pinky. You hooked it with your own and then pulled her in for a hug, squeezing her tight.
“I’ll take care of her if you take care of him,” Judith whispered in your ear. You pulled back and gave her a wink. She took that as a yes and then you lifted her up into the makeshift carriage.
“I told Daryl that we’ll be available through the radio at Barrington,” Michonne said.
“I’ll keep an ear out,” you promised and then you waved as Michonne led the caravan out, heading off to help your friends in need.
With a sigh, you went in search of Daryl who you knew was either sulking in his room or playing with Dog. Spotting RJ running after the canine, you jogged over to join in on the fun and hopefully get some relief from all the thoughts in your head.
————
Lydia was alone when Negan found her.
On laundry duty for the day, he slipped through the many clotheslines and discovered the teenager who was digging in the dirt. “Hey, you,” he said, smiling down at her.
Lydia looked up at him with a small smile of her own, one that was always either reserved for him, you, or Daryl. “Hi,” she said.
“Why are you hiding out here?” Negan asked, sitting into his hip.
“Who says I’m hiding?” she challenged.
“Me,” he said, kneeling down to her. “What’s going on?”
“Gage and his friends are still being…”
“Assholes?” Negan offered and she nodded. “Shit, kiddo, you can’t let them get to you.”
“Easier said than done,” Lydia said with a sigh.
“You need to tell (Y/N), they’ll shut that down,” he said, but Lydia was shaking her head. “This whole not wanting to cause trouble shit gotta stop, Lydia. (Y/N) doesn’t like disorder and they sure as shit don’t like it when someone they care about is being treated like this.”
“I don’t want to start anything,” she said.
“It’s already started. It started the day these people met the skins,” Negan said and then took a pause before continuing. “You might not know this, but there are plenty of people around here that have been on the ‘wrong side’,” he explained.
“Like who?”
“Well, for one, me, as you well know,” he said. “Then there was Tara, the woman who used to run Hilltop. She wasn’t always on the winning side and yet these people loved her so much. Then there are people like Laura who once worked for me or even Gabriel who I believe turned on Alexandria for a short bit before joining in on the campfire sing-a-long.” Lydia looked at him in confusion at that last one. “Point is, kid, is that these people are some of the most frustratingly forgiving fuckers I have ever met.”
“They haven’t forgiven you,” Lydia said.
“Well, I’m special,” he said with a wink that caused Lydia to laugh. “Seriously, though, you should tell them.”
“Tell ‘em what?” Daryl’s voice came from behind Negan. You were just behind him, trying to keep up. Once Daryl saw Negan approaching Lydia, there wasn’t much you could do to stop him.
“Daryl,” you warned, trying to get in between him and Negan.
“Lydia’s let’s go,” Daryl snapped and Negan sighed, knowing where this was going.
“I’m good,” Lydia argued.
“Now,” Daryl snapped and with a sigh, she got to her feet and stormed away. You tried to stop her with a hand on her arm, but she shrugged you off. You then glared at Daryl who didn’t back down from you.
“She is just trying to fit it,” Negan interjected and you began shaking your head behind Daryl’s back that clearly said don’t antagonize him.
“Well, she ain’t gonna do that if she hangs out with you, is she?” Daryl said.
“Daryl, stop it,” you said, pushing him back.
“Nah, (Y/N),” he said. “I don’t care what’s goin’ on here,” he said gesturing between the two of you, “but I don’t need people associatin’ her with him.”
“That’s not up to you,” you said sternly, keeping yourself between Negan and Daryl. “Lydia lives with me, she’s bonded with Negan. Whether you like it or not, that interaction is gonna happen.” Daryl went to say something else before he huffed and walked away, not giving Negan a second glance.
“(Y/N)…” Negan began.
“Don’t,” you said, keeping your back to him.
“Daryl is too important to you. Don’t piss him off,” Negan said. You finally turned to face him and crossed your arms.
“Daryl and I have been at worse crossroads. Besides, he’s more pissed at Carol right now than you or me. I’ll talk to him,” you promised.
“Just…” Negan trailed off, reaching for you and you let him take your face in his hands. “Don’t push him away. There’s too much history.”
“I won’t,” you promised and he nodded before kissing you quickly. You ran your hand through his hair before following after Daryl and Lydia, eager to diffuse the tension. “Daryl, listen to me,” you said as you caught up to them. Lydia was fuming at him.
“We were just talking,” Lydia was saying as she stalked away from him.
“He ain't your friend,” Daryl argued.
“He gets me, okay? Besides they’re always together!” Lydia said gesturing to you. You went to argue, but couldn’t find the words.
“Just stay away from him, alright?” Daryl said. When Lydia went to retort, she froze looking over both of your shoulders. “What?” he asked and then turned just as you did.
Rage immediately entered your chest. Painted on the door of Michonne’s house were the words, “Silence the Whisperers”. You had no doubt that a similar message would be waiting for you at home as well.
----------
Lydia wasn’t speaking to you or Daryl as the day wore on.
You kept an eye on her wherever she was, as did Laura and Gabriel when they had her in their sights. You were trying to give the girl space, but you were at a crossroads with her just as you were with Daryl. There was too much tension across the communities. You hadn’t heard from Oceanside in a while, but Hilltop was in trouble. Michonne knew how to handle it, but you had that itch to ride out as well.
However, you knew that leaving now would only give Lydia’s bullies an opportunity to gang up on her further. This was starting to feel as if you were back in the early days of Alexandria when nobody trusted anyone. It was as if you were walking on eggshells, just waiting for the cracks to come.
It was nighttime by the time you dragged yourself home. You had been trying to help Siddiq with Coco while Rosita slept. Dante took over the infirmary for the night so the new father had some time off and you were more than willing to help out with the little one. Besides, it did keep your mind busy.
Walking into your house, you pulled your sword off your hip. “Lydia?” you called, running a hand through your hair. When there was no answer, you paused in the living room. “Lydia!” you called again, but your house remained silent. “Shit,” you swore.
Grabbing your gear, you headed back out into the night, in search of the teen. Nobody was out at this time of night, everyone preferring to stay in the warmth of their homes. Jogging towards Michonne’s house where you knew Daryl was living, the entire building was silent. That is, except for Carol who sat on the stoop, staring into the night.
For the first time in a long time, you couldn’t get a read on the woman. You had been with her since the beginning, watching as she grew from fragile and timid to brave and daunting. Carol was everything that you had wanted to be, especially since she still held onto that caring nature that had made you love her immediately.
However, now you were seeing the other side of Carol that was never all that comforting. When she needed it, the lone wolf side of her came out and it always started with simmering anger. You couldn’t imagine what she was feeling after what Alpha had done to her child, but there was a predatory look in the woman’s eyes that sent chills down your spine. You began to wonder if Alpha had seen it yet and if she had, was she scared?
Carol didn’t even seem to notice you as you passed her and headed towards the cell. However, that door was open as well. Negan must have been just finishing up his work for the day, you figured. You didn’t know what time it was, but all this silence was making you worried.
Just as you were about to head down another street, you noticed Daryl coming out of the house, a frown on his face. “What’s wrong?” he asked as he noticed your stressed expression.
“Is she with you?” you asked as he approached.
“Hmm?”
“Lydia? She wasn’t at home, is she with you?”
“I thought she was with you,” he said with narrowed eyes. You were about to speak when a shout of alarm caught your attention. You and Daryl looked at each other before you took off in the direction of the commotion.
Shouts of pain and the sound of crying came from the laundry area. When you arrived, you were struck by what you saw. Lydia was on the ground and her arms and legs were wrapped around Negan who kneeled over her protectively.
“Negan killed her!” a voice rang out and you turned to where everyone was looking and that's when you saw the body. A woman, someone you recognized as one of Ozzy’s people. She was a part of the highwaymen and now her blood was staining the ground.
“What happened?” you whispered as you faced Negan, but he wasn’t moving from Lydia’s side as his eyes bore into yours.
“He didn’t do anything! No, it wasn't... He didn't do anything!” Lydia cried from the ground, choking on her sobs.
“Get him out of here!” Daryl yelled and when you tried to stop him, he pushed you back, grabbing you by your arm. “I’m trying to diffuse the tension.” Guards rushed at Negan to pull him off of Lydia, but she was resisting, clinging to Negan’s boots.
Eventually, Negan managed to untangle her from his legs and walked willingly from the scene. You were frozen as Daryl took Negan’s spot, trying to soothe her. “He didn’t do anything,” she cried.
“I know, I know,” Daryl whispered to her as he stroked her hair. Lydia’s eyes found yours and you wanted to go to her, but there were too many thoughts going on your head. For months you had been saying that you would choose others over Negan, but now? Now you weren’t sure what the hell you were going to do. “(Y/N),” Daryl said, getting your attention, “get her to Siddiq.”
Nodding, you knelt down and helped Lydia to her feet. She leaned heavily on you as you began to take her towards the infirmary. Behind you, you could hear Daryl’s deep voice barking out orders for the others to disperse, and then you watched as Gabriel began walking towards the meeting hall. It was time for the council to convene.
-------
“Hold that right there,” Siddiq said as he pressed a towel to Lydia’s face. “Easy, now,” he soothed.
You stood next to her, waiting for Daryl to arrive. Lydia looked so small as she curled in on herself on the exam table. With her hair stuck to her neck with sweat and dirt brushed on her clothes, she looked as she did when you had first met her. That image of a frightened girl was burned in your mind as Michonne leveled her sword at her head. Now, that look on Lydia’s face had returned.
“Are you okay?” Siddiq asked you as he wrung out another towel. You nodded, not trusting your voice right now. Feeling a tear roll down your cheek, you flicked it away before Lydia could notice. The last thing she needed was you breaking down as well.
Siddiq went to say something else when Daryl entered the room, his eyes finding Lydia immediately.
“Hey,” he said softly, nodding to Siddiq who left the three of you alone. You and Daryl took a spot on either side of the teen, trying to get her to look at either of you. “I’m sorry this happened to you,” Daryl tried, but she was still quiet. “Lydia?”
“He was so sweaty,” Lydia whispered. “Never liked deodorant. Said it... it made his armpits itchy. So, I got used to it. Sometimes he smelled like garlic and onions.” Daryl looked at you in concern, but you just lightly shrugged. “I miss him,” she finished.
“Who?” you asked.
“My dad,” Lydia said as her voice cracked. “My dad would have protected me.” Your heart felt heavy at that statement and you couldn’t handle seeing her in pain.
“Tell me what happened,” Daryl said. Lydia finally looked up at him and with steel resolve, told the truth.
“Negan saved my life. I would be dead without him,” she said and then reached out and grabbed your hand, her grip like a vice. Lydia looked at you with tears rimming her eyes. “I’m sorry I went out without telling you,” she said, but you were already shaking your head.
“It’s not your fault, Lydia,” you told her, and then she was leaning into your arms, reaching for Daryl as she did so. You and Daryl held onto her as you both tried to wrap your head around what the hell you were going to do.
-----
“Yer stayin’ outside,” Daryl said as you began walking towards the cell.
“Daryl, come on,” you said in a hastened whisper, but he wasn’t up for negotiating. He stopped just before the cell and raised a finger to you.
“Outside,” he whispered so the current inmate couldn’t hear him. “Ya can listen all ya want, but I gotta hear his side without you there. Alright?” You knew he was right.
“Fine,” you responded and then Daryl was jogging down the steps and into the jail. You sat just outside, close enough to hear both of them. You were just hoping that Daryl was going to be able to keep his head.
“How’s the kid?” Negan asked as Daryl approached the bars.
“She’s banged up, but she’s gonna be alright. You know, the people out there are talkin' about puttin' you down, sayin' Rick ain't around to save you no more, maybe they should have done it a long time ago,” Daryl said and you had to fight to stay in your spot.
“If you came here looking for a confession... just keep walking,” Negan said and you could hear him sit up on the cot as the springs groaned. “It was an accident. And for the record, screw her. She was a goddamn asshole beating on a kid. World's better off. But you already know that, don't you?” he said and then sighed.
“You came down here to look me in the eye because you don't know what to do with me,” Negan continued. “Shit, all that time you spent fantasizing about my death, all that time you actually tried to kill me, and now look at you. You're not so sure.”
“Shut up,” you whispered under your breath. Antagonizing Daryl right now was not a smart play. Daryl, however, wasn’t in the mood to be screwed with.
“You listen to me real close. You and I ain't never been in a room before, not toe to toe. And there ain't nobody to save you right now,” Daryl threatened and Negan was silent for a moment before answering.
“Isn’t there?” Negan challenged. “Because from where I’m standing, Daryl. I don’t think your bestie would be too happy if I got the noose.”
“Don’t,” Daryl said.
“Don’t what? Tell the truth? Cause if I’m being damn honest and we both sure as shit know that I always am, (Y/N) seems to be the only thing keeping you from usin’ that fancy bow of yours on me. Isn’t that right?”
“I ain’t here to talk about them,” Daryl said.
“Good cause they got nothin’ to do with what happened tonight,” Negan said. “Hell, the only person that mattered was that scared girl.”
“Why help her? Why help Lydia? You ain’t no hero.”
"No, I'm not. I'm a sucker. See, I started believing in your way of life, your moral code. Hell, you even gave me a little taste of freedom, just so you could yank it away when I actually did the right thing. You gotta admit, that is pretty messed up. And we both know I appreciate some messed-up shit. So, now it’s up to you, what are you gonna do about it, Daryl?”
“You’re gonna get a chance to tell your side,” Daryl said as he walked from the room.
“Who’s the sucker now,” Negan said as he lay back down on the cot. Daryl locked up behind him and then he was pulling you up by your arm and dragging you away from the cell.
“Daryl,” you said, pulling away from him. He didn’t stop until he was far enough away from the cell.
“What’s his angle?” Daryl asked.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” you asked, your brows raised. “He saves a goddamn kid and you think there’s an angle?”
“With him, there always is,” Daryl argued.
“Maybe with the old Negan, but what does he have to gain by doing it now?”
“You!” Daryl shot back.
“I’m already his, he has nothing to prove to me! Why don’t you get that?”
“I’m trying!” Daryl shouted back. You stopped and looked at him, really looked, and what you saw made you take a step back.
“You were never okay with any of this,” you realized. “All that bullshit in the barn was just that.”
“I just need time,” Daryl said. “You can’t expect me to be all goddamn accepting of you and him.”
“I never asked you to be accepting! As you said then, I’m a grown-ass adult, I don’t need my family’s permission. You told me to not keep any more fucking secrets from you and I haven’t. What else do you want me to do?” you were fuming as you yelled at him. Daryl just shook his head.
“I don’t know,” he admitted. “I don’t know.” Scoffing, you turned to head towards the meeting hall.
“Well, let me know when you figure it out.”
-------
Nobody told you to leave as you sat in on the council meeting.
Regardless of your relationship with Negan, with Michonne away, you were now in charge of security and this did concern you. Gabriel was talking with Gage and Alfred as you leaned against the wall by the fire, trying to get a read on them.
“Lydia lured you there?” Gabriel asked.
“Yeah,” Gage said, nodding his head vigorously. “You saw what she did with the squirrel. She's psycho.” Confused, you glanced at Aaron who leaned back to whisper to you.
“Lydia brought a squirrel to lunch and ate it raw next to them,” Aaron whispered to you and you sighed deeply.
“Of course she did,” you swore, returning to your position.
“And Negan was with her,” Alfred added quickly. The problem was, you didn’t know if that part was a lie. You had no idea where Negan was before you found him protecting Lydia.
“If you thought Lydia was crazy, why'd you agree to meet her back there in the dark?” Gabriel inquired. Alfred stuttered, but Gage was ready with an answer. As always.
“Hey, we're the ones who were attacked here!” Gage shouted.
“But she's the one laying in the infirmary,”
“And our friend is in a grave.” You had heard enough and it seemed that Gabriel had as well. He dismissed them with a wave of his hand and they left quickly. As Gage left, he locked eyes with you and you stared him down. He practically sprinted after Alfred at your look.
Once it was just the leaders again, Aaron began. “I get why people might think Negan's been redeemed. I've... I've wondered it myself,” he said. “He saved my life when I was blinded. Whether that was for personal gain or not, he still did it.” Aaron then looked at you before continuing. “I’ve also seen... and heard things that have led me to believe he actually feels remorse for what he’s done.”
“We’re not here to look at his moral compass, Aaron,” Gabriel reminded him.
“Maybe we need to,” he argued. “However, with everything that he’s done, maybe something is broken in him.” You slumped into a seat across from the main table, rubbing at your temples.
“Yes, but killing him now over this undermines the civilization that we have built,” Siddiq added.
“This civilization was formed on blood, Siddiq,” Laura reminded him.
“That doesn’t mean it has to stay that way,” the doctor countered. “I know how we all feel about him and I do mean all of us,” Siddiq said, looking at you, “but that doesn’t mean we become executioners.”
“Wouldn’t be the first time,” you added and Aaron knew you were talking about Gregory.
“That was different,” Gabriel said, knowing where your head was at as well.
“Not really,” you said.
“Look, the council wasn't made for this, deciding on a man's life in the dead of night because people are carrying pitchforks and torches,” Gabriel said, rubbing at his brow.
Suddenly, Daryl came into the room. He glanced at you quickly before turning his attention on the council.
"If you can't make a decision, the people out there are gonna make one for you,” he said and everyone knew he was right.
“What'd Michonne say?” Gabriel asked.
“She wants me to be her vote. Lydia said Negan saved her, so he saved her. I'm a ‘no’,” Daryl said and you weren’t even surprised that she relegated her vote to Daryl. You weren’t getting a vote this time when it came to Negan’s fate.
“So we're tied,” Aaron said. “Gabriel, where do you stand?”
Everyone looked to the Father who just stood from his seat. “I'm gonna take the night to clear my head and consider my vote,” Gabriel said, grabbing his hat. “I suggest you all do the same.”
As you got up to leave, Daryl got in your path.
“Move,” you said, not wanting to do this right now.
“I’m sorry,” he said, making you pause. “I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that.”
“No, you shouldn’t have,” you agreed. “I am not going to apologize for loving him, Daryl.”
“I know,” he said with a sigh. “I guess I hadn’t realized you were actually that serious about him.”
“I am,” you said, crossing your arms, “and I don’t have to justify my feelings to you or anyone.” Daryl nodded, dropping his head. You weren’t in the mood to play best friend right now. He didn’t need to be comforted after he had yelled at you in the street.
“Are we gonna be okay?” he asked, looking up at you through his hair.
“I’ll get over it,” you said.
“That’s not what I meant,” he said.
“I know,” you said and then changed the subject. “What did Michonne actually say?” Daryl sighed as he leaned against the main table.
“She thinks that Alpha won’t attack if we have Lydia with us,” he said. “She wants us to make sure that Lydia stays.”
“Great, more pressure to put on her,” you said.
“I don’t think that’s what Michonne meant,” Daryl said.
“Doesn’t matter. She’s been through enough already. We can’t put that on her now. Especially not after tonight.”
“I know,” he said. You were quiet for a moment before nodding and turning to leave. “(Y/N),” he said, stopping you, “you can’t go and see him.”
“Daryl...”
“This isn’t about what I think about him. When Gabe talks to him, he can’t have your opinions goin’ on inside his head. Just... just give ‘em the night.” You paused in the doorway and then turned back.
“Fine, but I’m not going far.”
-------
You had ended up sleeping at the Grimes house with Lydia by your side. She didn’t want to be too far from you or Daryl and so a compromise was made.
Waking up in the morning, the sun was streaming in through the windows of the house, illuminating the sleeping teen on the couch next to you. You hadn’t slept that well, worried about what Gabriel was going to decide.
While he and Negan had formed some sort of bond, Gabriel was always thinking about the bigger picture. You were only hoping that he was including Negan in all of that.
Just as you were about to wake Lydia, a loud banging echoed throughout the house. Lydia was startled awake as Daryl came walking into the room half-asleep.
Getting up, you joined him at the front door. “What?” Daryl growled as he pulled open the door to see a very distraught Gabriel.
“He’s gone,” Gabriel said trying to catch his breath. Gabriel then spotted you behind Daryl and he just shook his head. “Negan’s gone.”
“(Y/N),” Daryl said, looking back at you, but his words weren’t resonating. Nothing was. “(Y/N)!” Finally looking at him, you just began shaking your head.
“No,” you gasped. “He’s not, he wouldn’t...”
“The keys were stolen,” Gabriel said. “Someone let him out and based on the look on your face, it wasn’t you.”
“Of course it wasn’t,” Daryl said as he moved forward to grab you by the shoulders. “Look at me,” he said.
“I... I can’t,” you said and then he was pulling you into his arms, trying to keep you on your feet. “Not again.”

Headcanons for Yandere Peter Parker falling in love with reader who is a famous singer?
Yandere Peter Parker x Famous Singer Reader  (romantic)
Tumblr media
Hope this is what you were looking for. Thank you for your request.
-Anxious💚
Peter would probably become obsessed with you through your music be fore actually knowing or seeing you. He probably found your music while searching for a playlist to listen to while studying or trying to sleep after a long night of patrol, and your song just stuck out to him.
He just couldn’t get that song out of his head. He was listening to it on loop for god knows how long before he actually went to look you up. And he’s surprised to see just how many of your songs he’d heard before but just never knew they were from the same artist, your music being pretty diverse.
After he’d found your music, he downloaded all of your albums and teasers. He just became addicted to your voice and the raw emotion in it as you’d sing.
Your songs take up most of, if not all of his music library. You’re all he’ll listen to anymore. Whether it’s sad, alternative, indie, rock, whatever concept you have going on, he loves it. He’ll by all your merch whenever he has money to spend.
He’ll own posters, shirts, hoodies, stickers, socks, hats, whatever you have he’ll get. He 100% follows any and all social media. Always checking for updates on tour dates, new merch designs, teasers, album releases, and everything else.
He’d be one of those fans who will look real close at your music videos, watching frame by frame, keeping an eye out for secrets and hidden meanings or messages. Is your 1# fan!!! He’ll throw hands and fight whoever thinks otherwise.
No doubt that Mr. Stark will buy him your merch and tickets to your live shows. He’s a proud father figure willing to enable his spiderling’s obsession, though he doesn’t know how deep that obsession goes. Or maybe he does and just doesn’t care enough to stop it. Peter is happy and excited, that’s all that matters to him.
Stated before, Tony will buy him tickets to your concerts and live shows, getting backstage passes. Hell, Tony will even have pay you to play at events, inviting Peter.
It’s either doing that or during a backstage visit, where you actually formally meet Peter. And you think he’s adorable. He shyly says he’s your biggest fan and you don’t doubt that. He’s come to so many shows, and is always in the front row that you come to recognize his face. You thank him for being such a big supporter and loyal fan, and he’s so in awe by you. It’s you, he should be thanking. He’s become so dependent on your music that he can’t sleep unless it’s playing. He can’t concentrate if he isn’t listening to your voice in some way.
He has even taken up listening to any podcasts you do, whether they’re your own or you’re a guest on another person’s podcast. Though he does get annoyed when someone else, other than you is talking.
If you’re involved in a dating rumor or you’re publicly in a relationship, Peter would be so heartbroken. He wouldn’t stop supporting, he never would, but he would need to take while to even comprehend you in any sort of relationship. He’ll chalk it up to it all being just a rumor or that you’re dating them to promote your album, or it’s all for publicity. Either way, he won’t take it as the truth even if it is real and genuine.
Peter totally stalks you as Spider-Man. Using his hero persona to get even closer to you. He’ll stick himself to the outside of your window and watch you, whether you’re doing aimless mundane things, warming up your vocals, writing a new song, and or changing.
Peter’s a total pervert, there’s no doubt about it. He’ll sneak in while you’re sleeping and steal some of your clothes, ones you’ve probably already worn, especially if you wore them that day. He’ll also steal your perfume and totally sniffs it when he needs his “fix”. I can see him spraying your perfume on himself or on something else and just going to town. (But I’ll save that imagery for another time.) Overall he’s just a big pervert towards you.
If you do have a lover, rumored or publicly, Spider-Man won’t be there to save them from their fate, whenever that may be. Spider-Man may even guide them to danger. But who would believe that? Your good ol’ friendly neighborhood Spider=man would never do such a thing. He’s a hero for god’s sake. At least that’s what everyone else believes. Spider-Man’s even saved you before.
You had been kidnapped from one of your concerts, taken to be held for ransom. And Spider-Man had found you in only under an hour of being taken. You were so grateful and thankful toward him. Voicing your thanks all the while he swung you around the city, back to your management.
Color him surprised when Peter checked your social media only a few days later, just to see you had written a song for Spider-man. You wrote a song for him? A sOnG fOr HiM!?!?!?
He’s so happy, giddy over it. You bet your sweet cheeks, he’s gonna listen to that song while he’s out on patrol, especially when it’s a quieter night.
Maybe one day he’ll actually show himself to you, but for now he’ll stick to just watching and staying a loyal fan.

SUMMER OF 51's Day 1: Firsts
Category: Johnny/Roy
Now with AO3 link
The first time Johnny was awestruck by Roy was when he was sitting across the table from him, hearing about the paramedic program.
Roy was earnest. Sincerely earnest. In a way that made him look both young and old at the same time. And the way he talked—passionate, like it was pouring out of him, like he needed everyone to see what was inside. Or at the very least, couldn’t stop himself from showing you. Johnny had learned so very early not to let people see what he cared about, what he was feeling. Which was hard, because people were hard, because knowing what people wanted out of you was hard.
But here Roy was, bleeding out his fears, his hopes, his utter devotion for the paramedic program in front of a total stranger.
Later, Johnny would find out that this wasn’t typical, that this was an exception, that Roy didn’t usually express himself so freely. Must have been the Wedsworth-Townsend, that was so special.
But from that moment on, he couldn’t get Roy out of his mind.
*
The first time Johnny realized he trusted Roy was not long after Roy told him he wanted to be partners.
Though they were still assigned to different stations, they had been keeping in touch and met up for a drink. Johnny’d felt loose, he’d felt at ease, in a way he hadn’t experienced in a long time. In a way he hadn’t experienced before at all, maybe. Probably. Without realizing it, he found himself regaling Roy with an anecdote about something or other, something stupid and trivial and that had wound him up, and he talked way too much until he realized Roy was just… staring. At him. With an amused expression on his face.
He’d somehow completely let his guard down, let his insides slip out against his will, against everything he’d learned through frowns and fists and being forgotten.
And Roy just, laughed. Not a cruel laugh. Not an exclusive laugh. It was bright, and it was addicting, and it made Johnny laugh too.
Johnny thought maybe he’d like to do it again.
*
The first time Johnny knew having Roy as a partner was the best decision of his life was, well, it didn’t take long at all.
Roy was warm and he was supportive and if he put Chet in his place with a cutdown that first week at Station 51, well, the swell inside Johnny’s chest was just inevitable.
Chet had started harping on Johnny about something or other, and then Johnny couldn’t find his words. It happened sometimes, when the rules of a conversation changed, when someone with a faster mouth would throw Johnny’s brain for a loop and it only got worse the more flustered he became.
And then Chet started making fun of his stutter.
“At least when Johnny opens his mouth, he’s not completely full of hot air,” Roy had said that day. “Please, Chet, tell us about that non-existent date again.”
The entire day room broke into laughter. And Johnny turned to stare at Roy with wonder.
“You’re just a little full of hot air,” Roy told him with a wink.
From anyone else, that would have stung. From Roy, well… it was kinda alright.
*
The first time Johnny thought Roy was going to die, truly and completely, was when Johnny was holding on to the singed end of a lifeline.
The world narrowed in on the charred remains of the rope, and for a second it wasn’t the fibers he was smelling, it was skin because he’d smelled that before and, well, you never really forgot that. And he’d only had one thought, one word—Roy.
Roy was in trouble. Roy needed him. Roy—
Later, he’d realize what had happened—that his new captain had stopped him from running into a burning building without SCBA. That Cap had redirected him to perform the rescue the proper way. But in that moment it was like Johnny had tunnel vision, and in his vision Roy was no longer.
And that was… that had been terrifying.
*
The first time Johnny realized he really, truly couldn’t live without Roy was when Roy had a sore throat.
It was silly, really. There wasn’t a big event. No accident, no rescue. No fire raging around them, though Johnny did feel a bit like he was burning inside. Just a little illness. Because tonsilitis was minor—as long as it was treated. And Roy was being so goddamned stubborn, he was a medical professional, he should know better, and—
What would happen if it did get serious?
What would happen if Roy got so sick that he never recovered?
What would happen if Roy just… if he wasn’t…
And then what would happen to Johnny if he no longer had Roy?
*
The first time Johnny kissed Roy was, well—he didn’t. It was—and he thought—and then, but no. He couldn’t.
It was the first time he’d almost kissed Roy. But he’d probably wanted to do it before then, too. He hadn’t really thought about it. Roy’d just been a part of him for so long. But this was—Roy’d slipped. And Johnny’d caught him, grabbed his hand before he tumbled off of that cliffside. And it was raining, and it was cold, but Roy was warm, and he was still there. He was still there, partly on top of Johnny, bleeding from some scrapes from the rocks, and—
Their faces were close, and Johnny thought it was going to happen, but Johnny also didn’t think the way a lot of people thought, most times, and Roy was married, and—he couldn’t. He couldn’t. So he crawled out from underneath Roy and…
And that was that.
*
The first time Johnny was truly surprised to see Roy at his door was two in the morning, later that same night.
*
It was the first time Roy kissed Johnny.

Laughter is just as Sweet (Part 1)
Sanders Sides
Ship: Could be seen as Moxiety
Category: Tickling
Characters: Ler Patton, Lee Virgil!
Summary: The sides have been eating a little too many sweets and Patton is hear to show them that they're not the only thing that is sweet.
Part 1   Part 2    Part 3   Part 4
Patton was in the kitchen baking some more Christmas cookies. He was humming Jingle bells as he put the cookies on the cooling rack. There were four types of cookies chocolate chip which Virgil likes and ginger snap which Roman likes. But Logan wasn't a big cookie person but since he tried a new recipe and added some Crofters jam in it he's been addicted. Then he made some sugar cookies because they were his favorite.
When they were cool he then put the cookies in the jar on the counter. Patton was cleaning up and while he was cleaning he heard the sound of three pairs of foot steps. He turned around to see three guilty sides trying to raid the cookie jar.
Roman, Virgil and Logan froze in place. "O-oh hey Pat" spoke Roman.
"Hey kiddos watcha guys doing?" He questioned.
Virgil confessed he didn't like lying to Patton "We were going to grab some more cookies...".
Patton crossed his arms "Don't you guys think you've had enough?".
"But they're sooo good!" Roman argued.
"Yes Patton they are quite delicious, even though I'm not really a cookie person" Logan interjected.
"Yeah what they said" said Virgil.
They thought Patton was mad at them but he giggled "You guys are silly, but I do think that you should take a break from cookies for now".
The other sides were relieved that he wasn't mad but they were a little bummed that they couldn't have cookies for a while. Patton watched as they left with pouts on their faces. Yes he felt a little bad but too many cookies isn't good for you. Maybe he can prove to them that cookies aren't the only thing that are tasty and delicious. So after he cleaned up the kitchen and safely put the cookies in a hiding place, he went to pay a little visit to the sides.
First he went to Virgil's room, he knocked on the door.
"Come in" Virgil answered.
"Hiya Virge" Patton greeted.
"Hey Pat you need something?" He asked.
"No not really" he answered. "Then what?" Virgil said confused.
"Remember when I said you should take a break from eating cookies?" Patton asked.
"Yeah I remember" he muttered.
"Well I think there's something more tasty and delicious than cookies".
"What's that?". Patton was silent for a moment and then looked up. Virgil saw a sparkle in his eyes but noticed it far too late to react. Then at the same time Patton leaped on the bed shouting the word laughter. Virgil still shocked at the sudden attack felt a weight on his hips and his arms being pinned above his head. He looked up at Patton already trying to fight down a nervous smile.
"Wait Pat!". "Yeeeees?" Said Patton in a teasy voice.
"Why are you gonna tickle me?" He asked.
"Weeell, becasue you and the others looked sad when I told you to take a break from eating cookies. And what better way to cheer you guys up with tickles!". Virgil already failing to conceal titters that were starting to slip from his mouth. Patton hasn't even touched him yet but the thought of feeling his fingers all over his torso was enough to set him off.
"Hey why are you giggling?" Patton asked cheekily.
"Behecahahase yohuhur goihihing to tihihickle mehe!".
"But I haven't touched you yet?". Virgil just giggled in response.
Patton had a wide grin on his face. "Ooooh I get it, just the thought of my fingers all over your so cute and ticklish tummy is making you all giggly and wiggly?".
All Virgil could do was nod in agreement because even if he tried to speak it would just come out as giggles.
Virgil's mind focused on Patton's hand pushing up is shirt to reveal his belly. Then started to softly trace big circles slowly getting smaller each time. And soon it would get to the middle which was his belly button. Patton sure knew what he was doing he had the most cheeky of smiles Virgil had ever seen. Each time Patton's finger went in a circle Virgil's giggles would get a little louder but only a bit.
Then out of no where Patton started singing a song. "Round and round the little Virgil goes, where is the giggle jar? Nobody knows". God the song was killing him even though Patton probably just made it up a couple seconds ago. His face was on fire, he was pretty sure he was bright red.
Patton look at him and smiled " Awe your blushing" he said calmly as though that comment wasn't eating him alive.
He continued with his song though it morphed into else. "Round and round the Hungry Patton goes, he's going to nibble on all your toes".
Of course Virgil had to be bear foot but that did not stop the urge to curl in his toes. Patton turned his head to glance at his feet which were curling their toes for protection but thats not going to do any good in the hands of the tickle monster.
When he turned to face Virgil he asked "Hey Virge?".
"Yehehes?"
"Do you know where I can get some tasty giggles?"
Virgil thought about but and came to a conclusion. "Nohot hehehere!"
But something told Virgil that he made a big mistake. His eyes widened when Patton's smile turned into a predatory grin. He stopped tracing circles and instead pointed his finger directly over his navel.
"Are you sure? what about here?" His finger dangerously close to touching.
"Nohohope nothing to sehehee"
Patton tilted his head like a confused puppy. "What would happen if I were to press it? would the giggles come out?".
Virgil wasn't sure if he was doing this on purpose but all the teasing had sent him in a lee mood and now he wanted to be tickled. He looked up at Patton with pleading eyes that were just asking for tickles. Patton hummed noticing that Virgil was now in a lee mood.
"So my teasing and light tickles has gotten you into a lee mood huh?"
Virgil nodded embarrassingly then averted his eyes looking away from Patton.
"Hey cupcake don't be embarrassed! I wanna see your adorable blushy face".
This just made his blush increase and travel down to his neck and up to the tips of his ears. Patton's finger was still hovering dangerously over his belly button but didn't dare to touch yet.
"H-hey Pat?" Virgil said breaking the silence.
"Hmm?"
"The g-giggle jar is open if your hungry...? the anxious side said sheepishly.
Patton gave him a toothy smile and then proceeded to lower his finger into the giggle button. Virgil shut his eyes to brace himself for the impact but for some reason it didn't come. He opened his eyes and let his guard down for a second but the moment he did Patton struck.
Virgil squealed, squeaked and squirmed with each poke he felt on his belly button.
"Eehehehek! ihihit tihihickles!"
"Yes it does jelly bean and it's delicious" he said then licking his lips.
"But the tickle monster wants so more tasty giggles". So Patton let go of Virgil's hands and went to his feet. In his song he had said the tickle monster was gonna nibble his toes. He picked one foot up and lightly traced a finger down the sole.
"EehhHhe" Virgil giggled as his foot twitched.
"I can't wait to eat this cute footsie" and with that he started to nom on his toes making nomming noises.
Poor Virgil was in a constant loop of giggles if this were Logan he'd most certainly die of laughter.
"Pahahahahat!"
"Viiiiiiirge!" He mocked back
"Ihihit rehehehally tihihickles!" He squealed. His giggles seemed to get high whenever Patton hit a sensitive spot.
After about 20 minutes he slowed down because he wanted to give Virgil time to breathe. Patton let his foot go and Virgil sat up. It looked like Patton was gonna get up but was caught by a tug on his sleeve.
"U-umm is the tickle monster still hungry?" He asked.
"Why yes Virgil he's always hungry" he said as he shot him a smile. "Why?".
"W-well I have another foot" he said nudging him with it.
Patton looked at him with a smile "Id love to have another meal".
And with that Virgil's room echoed with his giggles, squeals, squeaks and snorts.
H-hi this is for the holidays it's a bit late tho ;-; but there are gonna be more parts hope you liked it and there might a few mistakes. Have a nice day :D

Mornings tend to be Natasha's only time of peace.
She's gotten to a place in her life where when the world is not in impending doom, she'll sleep in a little. She'll take her morning in slow, there are no early morning workouts, and sometimes, she'll laze around in bed with a cup of coffee until 11 AM.
But for some reason, her morning hasn't been as relaxing as she likes. Maybe it's post-saving the world that her nerves haven't cooled off. The mission bothered her because Natasha knows what she brings to the table, but sometimes it doesn't feel like enough.
There's an underlying pressure and anxiety she feels when she's lying in bed. Sleep has been harder to come.
But then she hears a voice outside her window.
Singing, to be precise.
♪ Wouldn't it be nice if we were older, then we wouldn't have to wait so long? ♪
The voice isn't unpleasant. Sometimes Natasha hates it when people sing without music because they tend to go off-key, but you've got a pitch that works for you, and a soft, pleasant singing voice.
It occurs to Natasha that Tony has said something about hiring someone to clean their windows. Natasha always has her curtains closed in the morning, but she may have a window cracked open.
♪ And wouldn't it be nice to live together, in the kind of world where we belong? ♪
Natasha stops moving around in bed, not wanting to alert you that someone is awake behind the window you're cleaning.
♪ You know it's gonna make it that much better when we can say goodnight and stay together. ♪
There's a small breeze that carries through, rustling the curtain, and she catches a glimpse of you.
♪ Wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up in the morning when the day is new? ♪
It's 8 AM on a Tuesday morning, and through the midst of undetermined anxiety and pressure, your singing voice lulls Natasha back to sleep.
And when she woke up 3 hours later, she found a lovely, teasing message on her window, written in washable marker.

It's a weekly thing.
Natasha only gets to see you one day a week when you come back to clean her window. She found out that you're the person assigned to her window.
She was a little curious about how you had found out her name, but it appears that Tony makes his workers sign an NDA when working for him and that a breach of it means essentially having to pay a fine that would carry over 3 generations.
You come at the same time every morning, and sing different songs as you work. Natasha is your only audience, but today, she wants to get a little closer.
So, the night before you come, Natasha puts her own message on the window.
You come, right on the clock, and pause. Natasha knows you've seen her message.

It's quiet for a moment or two, but you start to work, singing another tune. Natasha isn't sure what to expect, but she listens as she does every week, falling asleep to the only voice that puts her at peace lately.
When she wakes up, she checks her window to see you're long gone, but you left another message.
And she gets your name.

Maybe it's a new addiction, but Natasha can't fall asleep in the morning unless she hears your voice.
So she asks if Tony can increase her window cleaning to 4 times a week.
"Why?" He asks.
"I'm a messy person."
"They're just cleaning the outside of the window. Also, you are the tidiest person I know."
"The birds take a shit on the windows often," Natasha shrugs.
Tony cocks his brow at her, but he shrugs and agrees.
So now, she gets to hear your voice 4 times a week, and her morning feels normal again.
Except, the 4th time that week, there's no singing. In fact, you seemed like you're in a rush.
And that is throwing Natasha through all kinds of loops. She did not ask Tony to increase the number of times of window cleaning for you to be in a rush.
She gets up and rips the curtains open, coming face to face with you.
You looked shocked, but then you're frowning.
Natasha slides the window up.
The two of you don't say anything to each other, but you go back to washing the window with haste.
And while the window is equally as clean as it is when you take your time and sing, it still miffs Natasha.
"Stingy," she says, and you turn to her.
"Excuse me?" You say, frowning deeply.
"Stingy," Natasha repeats, and your jaw is dropping as you scoff.
"Singing is not part of my contract, Ms. Romanoff," you glare at her.
"You can just call me Natasha," is the only thing the redhead says.
"Well, Natasha, I get paid to clean your window," you bite back, but Natasha doesn't even seem phased.
"Stingy," she repeats, causing you to huff and put your swivel back into your bucket.
"You know what? I don't need this. I have a full-time paying job already."
You start to scale down, and Natasha turns around to leave her room.
By the time you get to the bottom of the tower, Natasha is already standing there waiting for you.
"How did you--"
"Elevator," Natasha says, and you sigh.
"So, why do you work here if you already have a full-time job?"
You quirk your brow at her. "I'll tell you if you apologize for saying I'm stingy."
"I'm sorry for calling you stingy," Natasha says without missing a beat and no shame.
You purse your lip, annoyed that Natasha apologizes so easily but sigh through your nose as you come through with your promise.
"...I was here," you start quietly, "during the alien invasion."
Natasha bites her tongue because she feels like any looks of sympathy might put you off, and you would close up.
"I was stuck under rubble for hours, my leg was crushed," your eyes dart to Natasha. "I was lucky as I was when you came and saved me. Another falling rubble would've paralyzed me."
Blinking, Natasha tries to recall if she met you, but that day was a huge blur. There were so many things happening, and so many people she had rescued.
"It's fine," you tell her, seeing that she's trying to recall you, "I was just another face in the many people I'm sure you saved."
You wave it off, and Natasha crinkles her nose.
"Anyways," you direct the conversation, "I..."
Your voice dies down for a second.
"It's hard for me to sleep at times," you cough, looking upwards.
"This helps."
"Cleaning windows?" Natasha tilts her head, trying to understand exactly how this helps you sleep at night.
"Cleaning your window," you clarify.
Natasha takes it as maybe this is how you want to repay her for saving you, but she certainly thinks there could be better ways to thank her.
"Can we have coffee?" Natasha asks, but you cock your brow at her.
"No," you tell her, and Natasha is floored.
"Should I apologize some more?"
"No--that's--no, that won't get you anywhere," you tell her with a slight tone of exasperation.
You put your tools away, hoping that Natasha catches the hint you're done for today. You're about to walk off back into the main floor to give back the cleaning supplies when Natasha's voice stops you.
"Will you come back tomorrow?"
You want to turn around, staggered by Natasha's audacity, and you're really about to let her have it when she gives you a soft look.
"When you sing, it's the only time I can sleep lately."
