Self-Care

I will be updating this blog on my wellness, and self care rituals that transform my soul, mindset, and appearance. Taking care of your body from the inside out, and taking quality time for myself is my top priority. I always say “You gotta fill up your cup. Before you have the capacity to fill up others”. In these posts I will include my self-care secrets that transform my mood and mindset. I will address what I have learned, how I will deal with the shift of going to a university and maintaining self-care, and lifelong rituals. I will share grocery hauls, my new favorite products, meditations, my fun self-care gadgets I buy, and the start of me and my moms pilates journey. Life is full of craziness and we as a society need to slow down. I heard a quote yesterday that stood out to me “You have to enjoy life's challenges because life will never get easier, you will just learn how to stay positive in the struggles ”. Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bunchen, Kourtney Kardashian have all been influencers using their voice to guide society on balance. Now I will start mine.

Part 1: I Wanna Be A Machine

*Ethan, and Mikaela are hanging out with a different resident in the building, on a wall filled with lockers. An abnormal Mimikyu. They look more humanoid than a normal Mimikyu.*

Ethan: So, how long have you been in the building, Morgan?

*Seems like we caught a name!*

Morgan: About a few months.

Mikaela: What? We've never seen you around here...?

Morgan: Well, I lived in isolation because I was afraid of what would happen if anybody saw me...

Ethan: Well, no need to be afraid.

Mikaela: The Ferum Research and Rescue Laboratory is always ready to lend a helping hand!

Morgan: R-really?

Ethan: Of course!

Morgan: That's some sweet moto- wait, hold on.

Ethan: What?

Mikaela: What happened?

Morgan: What's wrong with him?

*Morgan's sharp, dark violet claw points at a man in the hall wearing a lab coat.*

Ethan: Oh. That's Dr. Malachi.

Mikaela: Yeah, I know. It's just that...

I'll be right back. Gotta go to the restroom.

Ethan: Okay.

Mikaela: Take your time.

*Morgan exits the hallway, and enters the women's restroom.*

Ethan: Should we see what he's up to?

Mikaela: 100%.

*Ethan and Mikaela walk up to Dr. Malachi.*

Ethan: ...Doc?

Dr. Malachi: Oh! Hey, you two! What are you two doing, here?

Mikaela: Nothing much, but just one question.

Dr. Malachi: Go ahead.

Dr. Malachi: Oh, nothing. It's just, I need you two for something.

*Dr. Malachi slowly pulls out two syringes filled with a red substance.*

Mikaela: Like what?

Dr. Malachi: An experiment.

Mikaela: Come again??

*As quick as a flash, Dr. Malachi slams Mikaela into the lockers!*

*He then injects one of the syringes into Mikaela's bloodstream!*

*Immediately, Mikaela feels very heavy side effects: shortness of breath, VERY heavy fatigue, immense fear, and glitchy eyes...*

*Ethan launches at Dr. Malachi, but the scientist reacts quickly, and kicks Ethan in the face!*

*Dr. Malachi injects the other syringe into Ethan's bloodstream, and Ethan, too, catches the same heavy side effects.*

*Ethan and Mikaela lay on the ground, shaking, and scared for their lives, as they soon pass out from exhaustion...*

*The two lab rats lay there, "lifeless" as Dr. Malachi looms over them both...*

*That second, Morgan calls out to Dr. Malachi.*

Morgan: Why?

As soon as I step out of the restroom, I see my only friends passed out on the floor?!

Dr. Malachi: Oh, great...

*Morgan darts off into the hallway.*

Dr. Malachi: Well, one thing to take care of with my new minions.

*Dr. Malachi clicks a button on a rectangular remote, shining in steel plates, and Ethan and Mikaela stand up forcefully...*

*Ethan and Mikaela abide by Dr. Malachi's orders, and darts after Morgan in the hallway.*

The Start of Something New by Yusuf Alioğlu Via Flickr: The Start of Something New Planet Dokeia Interplanetary Travel And I'm on the verge of saying goodbye again. We have come to the end of another adventure together again. We still haven't found the Plunonians. Unfortunately, I have not encountered any civilization on this planet, which I have visited and named Dokeia, on which I have lived for a while. I was quite surprised that I did not encounter a civilization on this planet suitable for life. Just like the other life-friendly planets I have visited, the planet Dokeia was one of the abandoned habitable planets. Why were these habitable planets abandoned? What was the force that drove the civilizations living on it to leave these planets? These are questions that I still don't know the answers to. I have not encountered any negatives so far. When I find lost civilizations, I think I will have learned the answers to these questions. If I can find them. When I started space travel, while I was looking for a planet suitable for life, the fact that I found dozens of planets suitable for life and that they were all abandoned frightened me. What could be the power that frightened entire civilizations to leave their planets? The prospect of encountering this power in my interplanetary travels frightened me. What could I do alone in the face of the force that pushed huge civilizations to abandon their planets? In order to overcome my fears, I stop asking myself some questions. And I don't pay attention to every detail. Otherwise, my interplanetary journey might come to an end. I don't want to go back to my planet until I complete this mission I've been on.
