I have so many thoughts about this show and none of them are remotely articulate but yeah the thing about endeavour redemption is it’s not really explained WHY he decided to do a complete 180. like he got everything he wanted and then was like ‘ok NOW I’ll be a good dad’ when most of his kids are fully grown. like what? and people are so defensive of endeavour when he was abusive! this isn’t even implied he on screen hits his six year old son until he threw up and hit his wife when she tried to stop him WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING HIM

LITERALLY LIKE I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS EVEN A DEBATE his children were all born to fulfill his selfish ambition, something he was so transparent about with them that touya died because despite it being physically unsustainable he was so desperate to keep training and hold his dad's attention and he knew that was the only way to do it, his only purpose from the start, and endeavour responded by continuing to push the same ideals onto his youngest son and physically abuse him and his wife until she had a mental breakdown that led to his son being mutilated and her being put in a hospital for a DECADE and neglecting his other two children and all of this went on for 24 years UNTIL endeavour finally got the thing he was after that whole time and went 'oh i feel a bit bad now'

#and i'll say it again! i dont CARE if people think endeavour's character is cool i dont CARE about if he does or doesnt get redeemed #like good for him! but any forgiveness/redemption endeavour is met with NEEDS to be equal to what touya is met with #THATS what bugs me. if you hate touya bc he's done bad things then fine! that's fair!#but if you dont hate endeavour too then that's a really odd double standard to have #and if you want endeavour to be redeemed and forgiven then great! but why can't touya?#the lack of empathy from people is astounding like before he was ever a villain touya was a victim and that has to mean something #ask #mha #mha spoilers

we're now far enough past the major 2016-18 tumblr Discourse Era that I fairly often see people posting retrospectively about branches of it, both in a poking-fun way ("if you're seriously still mad about asexuals in queer spaces then I mean this deeply: get a life") and a more serious way ("the 'su critical' community was an astounding display of ridiculous double-standards for diverse media"), but I rarely see people step back and address what I think was the root of it: these harassment movements weren't just silly teen leftist infighting, for basically every big weird tumblr discourse back then that made you go "hang on this sounds like a basic conservative talking point with some vocab swapped out," you could almost always trace it back to a source from the 2014-16 online fascism boom. prominent transmed youtubers were consistently vocal republicans, "q slur" discourse came to us by way of terfs, the first crop of popular "su critical" videos were explicitly fascistic, etc., and all those discourse cycles can still be clearly felt in the today's topical tumblr tussles.

I bet money that in the same breathe, they will condemn and call out anyone who idolizes people like Jeffery Dahmer and Ted Bundy and mock them openly and rightfully.

But Aileen gets a free pass?

Just because she had a horrible childhood?

I don’t agree with her getting the Death penalty.

But other than her first victim, as far as we know, her victims were innocent.

Was she handed a bad hand? Yes. Did she deserve to heal? Yes.

But is she a hero? No.

She was a troubled woman with a bad past and made terrible decisions just like the rest of these damn serial killers.

I’ve explained in previous posts why “from the river to sea “ is actually a genocidal call for the eradication of all Jews from Israel. I’m not going to go into that in this post, but you’re welcome to read it and further research the phrase.

Unfortunately, every day anti- Zionists provide me with more slurs and problematic protests chants: Please read the attached post. These are all examples from pro - Palestinian protests held in the last few weeks.

Murder is not “resistance”. Neither is raping or kidnapping civilians. I can’t believe some twisted people believe this is ok.

Nothing justifies what happened in October 7th. Not even the “occupation”.

If you’re going to say “well on 1948 Jews occupied Palestine”- the conflict has started before then, and Jews have been there wayyy before that’s .

Only last month during the Haag trial, out of context and mistranslated quotes of extremist government members were used to prove how Israel’s guilty of “genocide”.

-on the other ,while chants and signs like these are completely fine. Calling for the death of all Jews is fine, Jews can’t speak out without being called a genocidal murderer or a slew of other antisemitic slurs.

-I’ve been personally called all of these things simply for identifying online as a Jewish Israeli woman, or for saying “Israelis shouldn’t die” and “release the hostages”. The bar for being cussed and harassed is that low.

Tldr- These dangerous chants , slurs and death threats have been increasing since October 7th, and it feels like it was just an excuse .

The double standard is astounding. Don’t be a dick to Jews, and educate yourself about what you’re saying.

One thing that really sticks out to me about this post-October 7th world, is the absolute lack of any sympathy or leeway given to Jews. Not just in the context of the war, but like how Jews involved in leftist spaces are now being warned to disavow all connections to Zionism, Israel, and to condemn Netanyahu. And well, I'll be honest--I think Netanyahu sucks, but that's besides the point. Does anyone else think it's weird that we have to pass these litmus tests? Especially when no one else has to? Why is it okay to demand a Jew condemn our right to self determination in our homeland, but it's racist and wrong to demand a Muslim disavow Hamas or ISIS?

God help you if you have 'wrong' views as a Jew.

The comparison is more interesting when you look at how extreme views are treated on either side. For example, take an Israeli Jew who supports Otzma Yehudit and the settlements. That's a person led astray by their grief and fear. But to the antizionists, there's no leeway, empathy, or understanding given to such a person--they're a Nazi through and through, deserving of any and all violence unleashed upon them. But how do the pro-Palestine people view a Palestinian Muslim who supports or even is an active member of Hamas? Well, who can blame them, the Jews--er, IOF--have essentially forced them to become a terrorist--I mean, freedom fighter.

The double standards are astounding. We're not allowed to grieve the hostages, to mourn our dead, to fear the new wave of antisemitism engulfing the world, or be given basic human compassion. We're just 'Zionazis' which means we're evil in this black & white worldview. There's one set of standards for Jews, and one set for everyone else.

Working the dough, you couldn’t help but hum to yourself, you’d decided to make your boyfriend’s donuts today and had gotten a very early start, having started almost the second he left. You knew how many he could eat and his love for the pastry, so you wanted to make sure you had enough by the time his merienda came around. Moreover, while he wasn’t exactly picky about his donuts, he’d been eating the donuts made by the chateau chefs for years meaning that you wanted these to hold up to theirs. It had taken you weeks to get everything you needed without Kata noticing, wanting the pastries to be a surprise, but you knew it would be worth it when you saw the look on his face. You even had some planned out. Jelly filled, glazed, sprinkles, powdered, nuts, everything you could think of had been prepared for your beloved’s snack time. All that you had to do was make them and put them together!

Pulling the last of the donuts out of the particularly large frier, you smiled. The ones you’d cooked first had already cooled enough to start glazing, meaning that you were still on schedule. Grabbing one of the bowls of glaze, you started in. Everything was going according to plan, you had everything planned out. You’d start with standard glazed and sprinkles, then you’d do powdered, after that you’d do miscellaneous toppings, and finally, jelly filled. You even had enough leftover dough for more donuts if you managed to finish early. Stopping, you suddenly grinned, putting the glaze aside and grabbing some colored donut frosting and the chocolate frosting. This was going to be adorable! Making the donut didn’t take long, setting it aside proudly. It wasn’t over the top or flashy, but it was covered in little pink hearts and read ‘to my beloved’ in burgundy. Frowning, you looked at it. On second thought, maybe it was too plain, perhaps something a little more grandiose would look better? Huffing, you grabbed more frosting before glancing at the unglazed donuts, if you kept decorating these ones like this, there wouldn’t be enough regular chocolate covered… maybe a few more donuts? It’s not like Katakuri wouldn’t eat them and he’d probably be touched that you made so many. Smiling, you quickly turned the fryer back on before returning to your decorations. This one was going to be a bit more extravagant, something more worthy of your astounding mochi boyfriend… mochi… would mochi taste alright in a donut? Running over to the fridge, you pulled some of the stretchy, sticky treat out. While mochi wasn’t Kata’s favorite treat, he might like the pairing between donut and mochi. Just one or two would be alright, right? Hurrying around the kitchen, you set the mochi down before picking the decorations back up, a gleam in your eyes as you returned to your donut making.

Wiping your brow, you smiled as you looked down at some of your decorations. Glancing at the time you nodded, you still had plenty of time to properly glaze and decorate the others as you’d planned. At worst, you’d be just a couple minutes late, you might even be early if you ran. Pausing, you turned to see how many donuts you had, making sure that you’d have enough, frowning and huffing once more when you double counted and noted an excess. You’d made too many… well, it would be okay, so it was a few too many, if worse came to worse, you could give them to the chateau chefs or something as a reward for their constant hard work. Besides, you still had so many decoration ideas! Putting the extras aside, you rolled up your sleeves. The special ones would be for Katakuri, the chefs could have the plain glazed ones if there were too many, but your darling Kata came first!

Finishing up the specially decorated donuts, you smiled. There! Now he had plenty of decorated donuts plus his regular donuts! Turning, you panicked, where… where were the donuts made for plain glazing. Spinning around, you looked in slight horror as you counted the special donuts. You’d had so many ideas, you’d just kept grabbing donuts! No, no, it was fine! It was… that was a great idea! Grabbing another donut, you went to work again, starting to fry up yet another batch. You still had time, right? You didn’t even bother looking at the clock, the decorations hadn’t taken that long, it would be fine. Even as the clock ticked the seconds away, Katakuri’s merienda was only half an hour away now.

The chateau chefs cowered under Katakuri’s hard glare. His merienda hadn’t just been late, it hadn’t shown up at all! This had honestly never happened, the chefs too afraid of his mother and in awe of his power to dare ignore his sacred merienda.

“I-it’s not our fault, Katakuri, sir! We were told to not deliver your donuts today!” one of the chefs piped up, still cowering before the man.

“And who holds enough authority over you to dare interfere with my merienda?” Katakuri demanded, looming over the poor, terrified chefs.

“I-it was Lady Y/n, sh-she said she had it covered today! W-we swear it, sir! Said she was gonna do something special!” another chef squeaked, surprising the mochi man. You’d told them? You were doing something special for him? Then… where were you? It wasn’t like you to forget. His mind immediately jumped to the worst, running out of the kitchen before the chefs could even take another breath, the group sighing in relief at the man’s departure. Maybe they should ask Big Mom for protection from her son, the man was terrifying.

Slamming the door open, Katakuri was immediately greeted by the smell of donuts, the man rushing to the kitchen. Standing in front of one of the counters, completely oblivious to the outside world, was you, in the cutest apron and humming as you decorated more donuts. Why, however, he wasn’t sure. Every free spot on the counters was piled high with donuts. Racks stacked on top of racks holding more donuts! Even with his love of donuts, this was a bit much! Sighing, he walked over to you, putting a hand on your shoulder. Whirling around, you looked up at him, your heart pounding. You hadn’t even heard him come in! Why was he even here? It was only… your eyes widened as you looked at the time, it was well past his merienda and, knowing Katakuri, he very well may have killed one of the chateau chefs for not delivering his donuts.

“I’m so sorry, Kata! I… I meant to show up with these sooner! I just wanted to make you a few donuts today!” you said in a panic, watching as he raised an eyebrow before looking around. Uncertain what he was looking at, you took a look around as well, finally noticing the sheer amount of glazed and decorated pastry you really had. It was certainly more than the ‘few’ you’d wanted to make for him. You sighed, hanging your head. Not only had you not shown up with his donuts, but you’d made far, far more than you’d intended

“I… I’m sorry Kata, I didn’t mean to.” you said softly, your shoulders sagging. Giving a small smile, he caressed your cheek, lifting your head, making you look at him.

“Thank you for the gift, maybe next time get help from the chefs so you don’t make too many. Even I can’t eat this many.” he said softly, pulling his scarf down to give you a gentle kiss on the forehead. You smiled and nodded in agreement, letting Kata grab a large plate of donuts, heading towards the living room, “Could you do me one last favor and get me some tea?” he asked sweetly, making you smile. You nodded, turning towards the tea pot. It was the least you could do after all the trouble you’d probably caused. Katakuri just smiled as he set the donuts on the coffee table. Muscle Cars Legends: Dodge Charger

From today’s perspective, governed by modern standards and principles, it is totally inconceivable the very existence of famous and immortal Muscle Cars. Cars designed to “burn tires” on the streets and asphalt, However their enormous popularity, which only grows with ages, thanks to the inevitable charm, performance and power, which still today are at the very top, and the quality that best reflected the surviving models.

We’re starting with one of the most typical representatives – Dodge Charger.

In the early 60s the US auto industry was affected by the great wave of modernization, which is reflected in superior design forms, a higher degree of comfort and most importantly – the more powerful engines.

Dodge factory at the time was a typical American company with a wide range of models. The new model, called Charger, was officially presented in 1966 and was a positive shock that American and World public, experienced in the 60s.

It is a very modern design fastback coupe with huge dimensions, which had double hidden headlights and rear light units along the entire width of the vehicle.

The Interior applied some unusual solutions, such as the center console that stretches to the rear seat of the car, so there were four separate seats in the cabin. In addition, the already huge trunk could further be increased by pushing the rear seats, so this model became surprisingly practical.

Technical solutions follow astounding view of the Dodge Charger. Under the hood, you could find four units with volume 318 cid (5,1 liter with 230hp) 360 cid (5,9 liters 265hp) 383 cid (6,2 liters 325hp) and a monstrous 426 Hemi engine (7 liters with 425hp). All engines except the weakest, serial deliveries were 4-speed manual transmission, while Torqueflite automatic transmission was available only in an altered form, where the gears are changed at the maximum of 5,500 RPM per minute. The list of accessories was long, and besides factory relying on modifications, it could be obtained a slip differential, for serious street racers.

Next year Charger undergoes minor changes, and the biggest news is the legendary Mopar engine – 440 cid (7,2 liters 375hp).

In 1968 Dodge presents the public second-generation Charger. The technique remains the same, but with a new look has been one of the most beautiful and biggest Muscle Cars coupes of all time.

The next year, in addition to the minimum design change – vertically divided grille and new rear lights, Dodge with this model was increasingly affirms the racetrack. Through the smoke of burning tires and obtained many bets on the asphalt, the street reputation and honor was already been guaranteed.

I'm going to be honest re:that ask I got last night. I am supremely unimpressed by the inaccurate and largely exaggerated call-out for Therian Territory and really wish my work with my Therian Guide Beware (even if it was an outdated version of it) hadn't inadvertently been dragged into it. Call my standards too high, but if you're going to publish a video on someone calling someone a zoophile and pedophile, then I need actual proof before I'm going to believe it. Not a timeline that doesn't really match up when double-checked, some sources that don't mention the accused at all or which lack citations entirely, and some actions that are critiqueable but ultimately fall into vastly different categories than what they're being portrayed by the accuser as (like how saying something inappropriate to a minor on a huge, public Discord server and then realizing their mistake and immediately deleting it is being called pedophilia. That's by definition not what pedophilia is and makes me assume that the person saying this is not a trustworthy or reliable source of information.)

Like... Fucking hell, I don't know. This community has actual missing stairs in it that we should be working to address, people who have done legitimately awful, terrible things and who have openly confessed to it. People who are continuing to do and advocate for animal abuse. Comparatively, based on the incredibly poorly constructed video that I've seen and the posts in connection to it, this whole thing with Therian Territory seems like a waste of time and energy. Are there criticisms to be made? I mean, probably, but the shit I've been seeing misses the mark way too often to even be remotely classifiable as legitimate criticisms. It's strayed almost entirely into the realm of bad faith arguments or arguments with sandy or even downright nonexistent foundations-- and don't get me started on the abysmal lack of any form of relevant evidence or research. Any potential legitimate points that they may have are washed away or unrecognizable amid the astounding flood of garbage that's being poured out.

People can and should be held to higher standards when doing call-outs. If someone isn't going to do them right, with evidence-based, harm-focused ideas that center citable actions and not theoretical thoughts, then they should not be doing them at all. This is not a revolutionary idea. 99.99% of call-outs I've seen are mostly dumpster fires, and considering how damaging and disproportionate these things can be, that's fundamentally not acceptable.
