Okay this might be missing details but let's go.
Quick American comic book history lesson. Batman is one of the first ever superheroes. Superman invented the superhero comic book, but Batman popped up a short time afterwards. He starts as a serious grim detective/superhero combo but acquires a sidekick (an orphan named Dick Grayson, AKA Robin. He adopts him. Keep him in mind) and the stories get more light hearted and campy. After WWII, the public gets obsessed with horror comics, which children get their hands on. This upsets parents. A psychologist named Fredric Wertham writes a paper called "Seduction of the Innocent" about how comics are evil and corrupting children.
He says a lot of stuff but most relevant is he SPECIFICALLY cites Batman as being homosexual propaganda due to Batman and Robin apparently being coded as an older man and younger boy couple (keep in mind Robin is a child so. Ew. But again it's the 50s and the Lavender Scare is in full swing so this is common rhetoric at the time). This paper leads to the creation of the Comics Code Authority, which is basically the Hays Code for comic books (good must triumph evil, women must act feminine and men must act masculine, basically must be "child appropriate" aka not break the white cishet nuclear family standard!). DC follows this by trying to make Batman straight by creating Batwoman and Batgirl to be love interests for Batman and Robin respectively (quick aside, the modern version of Batwoman is now Bruce Wayne's lesbian cousin). And you know how the Hays Code led to villains becoming queercoded? Guess what happens to our Batman villains!
The biggest one for this to happen to is Joker. Batman's most iconic villain, he's colorful, loud, ridiculous, and depending on the writer, either just a silly jokester or the most cruel man you can imagine. We've got the ingredients for a queercoded villain right here, and writers took it. The white face and bright red grin was originally from his acid bath, but now our guy applies powder and lipstick for his clownly look. He takes to calling Batman nicknames such as "Batsy". His motivation mostly boils down to "how can I get Batman's attention". He adopts feminine mannerisms and cross dresses. He may even yse Joker use euphisms for how in love he is (Lego Batman's "I hate you. I hate you more" scene) or STRAIGHT UP SAY HE'S IN LOVE WITH BATMAN (looking at you, Batman Audio Adventures Joker, with your nefarious plan to dunk Batman in a LOVE POTION ON VALENTINE'S DAY SO HE WOULD ALSO BECOME OBSESSED WITH HIM)
I have not read the story myself yet, but that post that prompted this, the copy of "Arkham Asylum, House of Madness". That story is written by Grant Morrison (who I should mention a. Is queer and uses they/them, and b. Has said Batman could be inherently gay due to him dressing in tight leather) and I need to find his post again but my good buddy jokeryuri has also done a compilation of material related to that story and Joker's queercoding present in it. I just remember something about Joker trying to seduce Batman
Speaking of "Batman could be gay", there are a few other people who work on various Batman versions that acknowledge that elements of Batman are gay. Frank Miller calls Joker and Batman's relationship a "homophobic nightmare" and that "it would be healthier if Batman was gay". George Clooney, playing Batman in the movie Batman and Robin, says he played Batman as gay. Batman and Robin was also directed by Joel Schumacher, a gay man, and is SO FUCKING CAMPY GOD I LOVE IT. I actually like Batman Forever (also directed by him) more because that one has Riddler and Two Face's earth shattering homosexual relationship (they cling to each other so so much and are very flamboyant) but yeah that version is very gay
There's also a LOT of accidental queercoding in general. First example I can think of is classic Dick Grayson himself actually! He "grew up" in the 80s and became his own hero, and during the 90s he all but says he's demisexual (saying he can't imagine having sex unless he has an established connection with whoever). Modern DC plays up his sex appeal though and turned him into a flirty playboy which sucks because it's in direct defiance of those panels but it's fine :) (gritting teeth).
The other big example is my special guy Hugo Strange, Batman's first villain to get a reappearance (Joker came first but he died and didn't reappear until THIRTY OR SO YEARS LATER, while Hugo was just like one year between appearances). I have a whole post that are just images of him being gay for Batman that I can grab in a bit but the gist is he's obsessed with the Batman identity and is constantly trying to prove he's better than him. There's also that time he kept a sex doll that he started dressing up as Batman and in one issue is implied to have slept with it so. Make of that as you will.
Also it's kind of a joke at this point that every Batman villain is in love with him. The Arkham Knight game having Mad Hatter (an Alice in Wonderland themed villain known for trying to find "his Alice" AKA a girl to love) calling Batman Alice and inviting him into his cell. The time Killer Croc was at a strip club and Batman confronted him there and Killer Croc first assumed he was a stripper and told him to start stripping. Riddler (canonically bisexual in the comics!) leading Batman on a riddle hunt showing him all his past loves and concluding with a date with him
I could go on but TL;DR? Batman yaoi. Maybe he's technically a bara due to the muscles and usually written by a man as opposed to pretty boy written by a woman but he can be yaoi
Most of this is covered on the Wikipedia page "Homosexuality in the Batman Franchise, but I also learned the opening comic history from my comic book history class I took a couple years ago, and the specific cited instances are from my own reading and panels posted around Tumblr. Thank you for reading my messy thoughts, I hope you enjoyed
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_the_Batman_franchise
Tumblr media
Thank you for this!!! I took so long to answer this because I went to honk mimimiland. This is all very interesting history to be honest, and I did think it could be a little gay but I could not imagine it would be this gay lmao.
And also you are so based for saying Batman would be bara. WAIT IS THERE BARA ART OF BATMAN.
Tumblr media
THIS IS JUST REGULAR BATMAN HSNFHDJDHDHSJ
Also it's interesting how the foebidding of gay stuff leads to more gay stuff.

The timeline and history of Ninjago is weird and fluid: an essay
So recently I reblogged a post asking what people thought the length of the time skip between S2 and S3 was and it got me thinking about the weird chronology of this show.
Disclaimer: i have only seen up to S8 because I'm a hack and a fraud but I do still follow fandom and have seen enough clips I think to gain an understanding of how the ninja are portrayed and characterized in later seasons. I welcome and deeply appreciate those of you who are more caught up on the seasons adding to my points and pointing out where I'm wrong on this post! Who knows maybe in 15 years when I do catch up I'll make a follow up
Basically, the conclusion I have after years of thinking about this timeline way too much is this:
The time twins completely screwed up the timeline
Only slightly joking, but it does feel like the divide between S7 and S8 (coincidentally also when the design change took place) is when the writers had to retcon a lot of old ideas because the show was moving in a new direction spurred by an increase of popularity from the movie and by desires from the people supervising the shows creation.
My main points for this are as follows
The ninjas age
How old the country of Ninjago is
The depiction of the passing of time itself
So let's examine these one by one and let me tell you exactly what I think caused the chronological fluidity of this show
Wait... How old are the ninja?
The answer to this question depends on who you ask. Some people say they're in their late teens, that they're early adults, or that they've got to be hitting the mid 20s by now. Personally, I'm of the latter camp, but depending on which season someone is viewing, any of these can be true.
In the post I talked about at the start, I mentioned that S1-S4 felt like the ninja clearly grew older and matured as time went on. They went from blowing off training to play video games in S1 to dealing with the ramifications of trauma in various, independent, adult ways in S4. Yes, they can still be super immature and goofy, but let's be real adults are like that irl too. Now they seem to stall out on dramatic progression in S5-7, but they generally maintain the same level of maturity as before.
Now again, I have not watched the following seasons, but the general vibe I have gathered is the ninja seem to almost... Regress? They seem to go back to S1 levels of maturity. Teenagers! I mean Lloyd specifically seems to be more of a typical teenage boy archetype whereas beforenhe was portrayed as almost more mature than the ninja. Additionally, there's an interview wherein someone on the team confirms they're supposed to be teens (if anyone can find it I'll be forever in your debt).
This weird regression happens in the later seasons, and while I can't pinpoint where, to me it feels like a result of how they were portrayed in (you guessed it) the movie!
Small aside: I also haven't seen the movie but ik it's non canon and very typical Lego movie silly fun fluff. I like what I've seen and think the whole narrative is super cute. Plus movie aus are adorable. Moving on
Now I have no way of backing this up but I would be unsurprised if the movie brought more people to the Ninjago franchise as a whole and acted as a soft reboot after s8. We get the new redesigns, new garmadon brought back specifically to be able to mirror movie garm, and teenage ninjas including our favorite magical boy with daddy issues--Lloyd.
Basically, the ninjas almost have a parabola of maturation, starting off very young and dumb in s1, maturing into very adult people by S4, but slowly regressing after the rebrand to match the new style.
And funnily enough, none of this goes against an official canon. The ninjas ages are never stated, really, only implied. Really, they could still be in their mid twenties or early teens at any point. Even if you argued that they wouldn't be teachers or able to own stocks in a company or etc etc etc, you can also argue that the laws in Ninjago may not be the same, it may be through Wu or another adult, it could just be that they're the ninja and really no one is gonna question them on that. The canon itself is kinda wobbly which brings me to my next point:
HOW OLD IS NINJAGO?!?!
HOW IS NINJAGO THOUSANDS OF YEARS OLD HOW ARE THERE MULTIPLE GENERATIONS OF EMS HOW PLD ARE GARM AND WU HOW OLD ARE THE NINJA HOW OLD ARE THEIR PARENTS HOW OLD IS ANYONE WHAT THE HECK--
--Are all thoughts I've had when trying to piece together the timeline of this world because let's face it: it simultaneously seems to be very new and very old. "Long before time had a name...' HOW LONG WU. HOW LONG.
When I was watching S7 I specifically took note of when it was said that the Serpentine war was 40 years ago. It felt weirdly recent, as before when the serpentine were discussed and depicted they seemed to be an ancient race. So ancient, in fact, that it's mentioned in s1 that they're just "an old wives tale, meant to keep kids from poking their noses where they don't belong'
Now don't get me wrong, temporal perception is weird. Things that were 40 years ago can feel super old, I'm approaching 20 years old and things from when I was born feel like ages ago. Still, 40 years does not feel like enough for something as intense as an entire war to be forgotten. Ray and Maya fought in that war, so presumably Ed, Edna, and Lou all lived through it. Wu was literally present for the banishing of the Anacondrai generals, so how tf did it fade into obscurity?
Then there's the EMs themselves. In S4 Garmadon explains that they were the FSM "guardians" and that their powers are passed down through generations. This does give an answer to the origins of the ninjas powers except. No, wait, I have more questions now. Firstly, how many generations? We know Garmadon is the son of the FSM, so presumably if the first generation of EMs are contemporaries of the FSM, then we're on the third. Okay, that's less confusing. With three generations, we can explain how the EMs separated, the master of earth who was most definitely not Lily in a flashback in S4, and even the odd comment Nya makes in S5 about powers "skipping a generation" with people from the second generation not getting powers from their relatives while others do. We could possibly point to Zane as an example of this, as it could be possible that the master of ice seen inna flashback is his grandfather and Juliens father, with Julien having no shown elemental powers.
So with all of this in mind it makes complete sense that Ninjago is less than a century and a half old, allowing about 50 years for each generation.
So, I ask with great exhaustion, how the FUCK has all of it's RECENT HISTORY become LEGEND????
I would like to reiterate my point about the serpentine, but also see pirates (who had to have also been contemporaries to the FSM which begs the question WHY piracy in a barely established nation), the devourer and ouroborus (devourer specifically was around 60 so years ago to bite Garmadon, also how did the serpentine tribes just FORGET a whole city in 40 years or less between the war and being freed), the ideas of EMs as a whole???? (Specifically how did Kai, Nya, and Cole not know or at least have an idea Abt their powers bc it feels like they each had enough of a connection to an elemental parent for a MENTION to be made), etc etc etc
Now I will go on record and admit this point could just be explained by the fact that for a country that is say, 150-200 years old, things that happened 100 or even 50 years ago FEEL ancient, relatively speaking. Really most of my issues are just gripes of why and how and decisions made and could be picked apart easily. However, that idea, that things just FEEL ancient, despite being recent, brings me to what is going to be my favorite point
Tick Tock.
Throughout this incoherent ramble disguised as a coherent essay, I keep coming back to one excuse for each of my issues: nothing chronological is stated for certain (save for the Serpentine war date), merely implied. The ninjas ages are never stated, just implied over time. The actual age of Ninjago is never stated, just implied. Hell, NO ONE's ages are ever stated, just implied. Wu and Garmadon are simultaneously dad aged and ancient. Garmadon specifically is both an ancient demon lord and also the ex husband to a very private and very human museum curator and also the absent father to a boy who is simultaneously like 16 and 20 something.
Except, I get hung up on one thing the longer I think about it, which is that the show seemed to be a chronological passing of time at first.
I mentioned it again earlier when talking about the ninjas ages (can you tell that a lot of my confusion and frustration comes from that) but they do seem to age and mature over time. They have arcs and maturation that sticks. Lloyd does too. Id argue Nya does as well despite the fact that she's woefully overlooked by the writing a lot (I'll get to it in the love triangle essay) going from the "little sister" doing whatever she can to prove herself to a woman still fighting that omnipresent idea that she's lesser or different from her male teammates because of her gender. Hell, in s7 they specifically talk about how Wu is aging and will die someday soon--hed been time punched, but still.
The time skips add to this. Between s2 and s3 there seems to be a large leap-- new Ninjago city wasn't built in a day. So do S3 and s4 with the ninja splitting up and Jay having enough time to establish a hit tv show like... that had to take a few months at least???Same with s4 and s5 and steep wisdoms founding.
There's a strong sense of the passing of time that feels... Different when looking at the new seasons. I won't say the passage isn't there, just that it feels... Frozen? In the same way that a show like Pokemon is. The protagonists are the same age, despite the fact that their surroundings and lives change. They are constant even if their world is not. And that feels like the product of something completely different.
Ninjago will never end.
In the beginning, I think it was clear there were two seasons planned. Rise of the Serpentine and Legacy of the Green Ninja. S2 had a nice happy ending and a photo finish even!! Then we had S3, but it still felt like it was final. The loss of a friend, but the characters finding a sense of closure still. But then we had S4... Which left with a cliffhanger for S5. Which paved the way for S6. And after that... Well, Crystalized was what, S15? And now we have DR so who Knows when this franchise will truly end? Not to mention the seasons slowly getting longer and longer --
I think the crazy chronology we ended up with was the result of Many Cooks. As the franchise's fan base grew and the demand for more and more content grew with it, more writers came in and left. There was no more telling how long this series would go. We needed new villains to fight, new stories to tell, so came the retconning and, over time, the tighter chronology seen during those initial seasons faded because if we keep aging the ninja, how old would they be? Too old. We need to keep them at a place where the target demographic can look up to and relate to them.
Now don't get me wrong, I love Ninjago, I love how big this fan base is (I remember being on Quotev and Wattpad and Pinterest and YouTube in the S3 era SCOURING for any new fanfics or art or fan content, now I just scroll the Tumblr tags and find new stuff all the time) and I love that the series has lasted this long and continues to feed my autism fun colors and silly jokes and insane storylines to latch onto. These criticisms aren't meant to damn the show, hell they're pretty flimsy considering I'm not even halfway through the series relatively speaking and thus can't really use that as evidence for or against me. They're just a culmination of many thoughts I've had while watching the show and trying to build my own AU with OCs using as much of the canon as possible. I would LOVE to wake up someday and find someone has reblogged this rebutting all of my points.
As it stands though, ninjagos chronology is fucked. Why? Because what was initially a short, fun Lego show grew so massively popular that today we have a new Netflix spinoff? Continuation? Still being made today and so the writers had to change gears and make it so that could happen without the ninja becoming grandparents.
It is one thirty am and I have to wake up in 5 hours. Stay tuned for an even less coherent essay on why I hate the love triangle. Spoiler alert: none of it is nyas fault and my trait of evisceratinf the things I love w criticism is about to be set upon Jay my kin

Ninjago Season 9, Episode 6: Two Lies, One Truth
I'm not going to do this for every episode but I'll likely return to some past episodes depending on what comes to me.
Two things:
First - what are the two lies and one truth of the episode.
While discussing this with my watch buddy (my mum, Leona Dawn), I came to this conclusion.
We have three main groups to focus on for this episode, specifically; Wu and the Ninja, Lloyd and the Resistance, and Garmadon with the SoG.
So my throught is to divide it, one per group.
Wu, Faith and the Ninja: Two options, one - learning the truth about how Iron Baron controls his people OR two - (Because of how much focus Cole gives it) Wu telling the truth that he doesn't know were they're going but, he is going on faith.
Lloyd, Mistaké, and the Resistance: One could say that Mistakés revealing herself to be an Oni was the truth, but like I said - with the emphasis Cole puts on Wu to tell the truth - I'm fairly certain that this group has one of the lies. Specifically, I believe the lies is when Mistaké pretends to be Lloyd to help the Resistance capture Harumi.
Garmadon, Harumi, and the SoG: Finally, the second lie I believe is Harumi's attempt to take Lloyd's place as Garmadon's child. One of the biggest parts of the show has always been the fact that Lloyd is the name written on Garmadon's heart, his light leading him out of the darkness, that which gives him strength to break past all his weaknesses. Ever since Garmadon's partial resurrection (partial since Harumi only wanted the destroyer - more on that in a moment) Harumi has been working to mold Garmadon into who she thinks he is rather than who he actually is. Her lie is that Lloyd makes Garmadon weak when the reality is that the only reason Garmadon had the strength to fight the Devourer and the Venom was because of Lloyd. Harumi, in trying to replace Lloyd in Garmadon's heart is calling Lloyd the opposite of what he is and calling herself the opposite of the effect she will have on Garmadon. Lloyd made Garmadon stronger, Harumi literally made Garmadon weaker by cutting him in half by only resurrecting part of him. Harumi's lie is that she will make Garmadon stronger by being his child but she has made him weaker by placing a divide between Father and Son.
~
As to my second point of the episode:
The Nature of Harumi's "adoption"
There is a reason I refuse to legitimately call Harumi a Garmadon child; why I refuse to call her Lloyd's sister.
Going past the fact that realistically (realistically she said while talking about Lego people) someone needs to be of sound mind and body when discussing legal matters, which includes adoption, and literally being half of yourself is not being of sound mind or body
The Garmadon that Harumi brought back is practically a decaying corpse.
(Garmadon is missing enought of himself that you can see almost a quarter of his rib and bodily fluid is leaking between the kinks of his armor)
Tumblr media
But beyond that is something I'm not sure even Harumi realized (or if she did then she's crazier then I thought).
Garmadon and Wu were ment to protect and defend Ninjago, their Father's creation. Before the bite, Garmadon was the perfect elder son. It is because of the bite of the Devourer that Garmadon slowly became The Destroyer.
By that understanding, Garmadon The Destroyer can thus be called Garmadon The Devourer, because the Destroyer is the creation of the Venom of the Great Devourer.
When Harumi ask to be the daughter of Garmadon The Destroyer, in a way she was asking to be the daughter of the Venom of The Great Devourer, she was asking to be the daughter of that which was created by the monster that killed her parents.
The man that helped the Ninja save Ninjago City from the Devourer is the man that spent thousands of years fighting the Venom that command him to become the Destroyer. The man that helped the Ninja would fight wars to save his Son.
The true Garmadon, is not the Destroyer
The Venom of the Devourer is the Destroyer
The Venom is the creator of the Destroyer.
Harumi resurrected the Destroyer.
Harumi had herself be adopted by the Destroyer.
Lloyd is the Son of Garmadon
Lloyd is the Grandson of the The First Spinjitzu Master
Harumi is the Daughter of the Devourer
~
Perhaps Lloyd and Harumi are siblings after all - but not in blood (literal and adoption) but rather in Venom, after all Lloyd was born in the last years before the venom caused Garmadon to go after the four weapon (before ending up in the underworld).
But that's a post for another day.

two MtG fan projects I think would be cool:
first, an Elder Scrolls crossover project focusing on the events of Daggerfall with a handful of MDFCs which show alternate possibilities depending on who gets control of Numidium (and since you could then see both on the battlefield at the same time, it helps convey the Dragon Break stuff)
second, a LEGO crossover and all the “art” are pics of MOCs (my own creation--just custom fan builds). also a mechanic that utilizes really small MOC instructions (like 10 steps max) where each time you get to use that mechanic you do the next step in your MOC and then get bonuses based on how far into the build you are or if it’s complete

< Food you want to have again >
William! Curious to know about what food I had outside the manor?
Since it’s for you, I wanna pick something interesting! Oh, but I’m not sure what is or isn’t familiar to you… let me think…
hmm…! I’ve got one!
It’s technically a ‘sweet’ more than a ‘food’, but I remember when I was a little girl, I was taken out to walk around the town for a while. Not by my father… one of his servants I think? Maybe my nanny… cant quite remember. That doesn’t matter though- we were walking down the street, when we came across this little booth. A confectioner showed us their creation: little candies shaped to fit together! Isn’t it such a magnificent idea? Edible toys! My father always told me not to play with my food, but these were built to be played with! It left me in shock!
Anyways, the person with me must’ve been in a good mood that day, since she bought me a little bag full of them! I remember trying to click them together all the way home, and then I hid them in my pocket until they let me into my toy room! I think it took me weeks before I finished them all. They were so sweet, but it made me so sad to see my collection dwindle…
…ah! I’m rambling, aren’t I? Sorry for keeping you for so long- but I hope you liked my answer!

Guess who's been overthinking the Lego Movies again???
Okay, so I've been thinking about Rex - specifically whether or not he would have known that Ourmommageddon was something that could be escaped/corrected.
I have the following beliefs about Rex's original timeline: 1. Ourmommageddon doesn't happen 2. Finn and Bianca don't make up 3. Finn stops playing with Legos altogether
Reasoning is below!
1. In Rex's timeline, the only character that could theoretically kickstart Ourmommageddon would be Lucy. However, as the movie's timeline shows, Lucy is convinced of the Systarian's true intentions via a combination of interacting with Mayhem, meeting back up with her non-brainwashed friends, and seeing the Queen's original form.
Although we don't know what Lucy was planning to do before she happened to meet up with Rex and Emmet, it would be logical to assume that it involved finding her friends and confronting Mayhem and/or the Queen. As such, most if not all of the elements necessary to convince her not to disrupt the wedding would be present.
An even stronger argument for this point is that, in Rex's flashback, the Apocalypseburg Statue of Liberty is visible on the basement worktable, and it remains whole throughout the duration of the montage. As we know from the movie timeline, the Statue would have been demolished if Ourmommageddon had occurred.
The consequence of this point is that Rex would not know that Ourmommageddon is a temporary condition. His only knowledge of the event would be the "5:15" nightmare that he had before everything else happened.
2. In the flashback, we see a series of shots of Finn and Bianca in the basement. However, in none of these shots are they playing together. In fact, not a single shot of the montage even shows both characters together on screen. If they had made up like they do in the movie timeline, then there would be no reason for them to be consistently shown alone.
3. In those same shots, Finn isn't shown to be playing with the Legos at all. Bianca's shots all show her eagerly jumping around or interacting with some new Lego creation. In Finn's shots, he just sort of stands there, not even near the worktable. When Rex describes the state of his friends, he says they "danced and sang at the hands of a monster". Singular. No comment about or implication of Finn's involvement.
I believe Finn's character arc in this timeline parallels Rex's arc in that they both get *mature*. He decides that "it's time to put away childish things," so he stops playing with Legos and does tough guy stuff instead - like watching the Matrix maybe?
If Finn did stop playing and gave sole control of the Legos over to Bianca, then this could also explain why none of Rex's friends look for him. We've already been shown that character's personalities depend on which child is currently playing with them - for example how Superman and Lex Luthor are enemies in Apocalypseburg but "Sillyman" and Lex are friends in the Systar System.
Since Bianca likely wouldn't know that Finn had lost a "random" construction worker, it's entirely conceivable that Rex's friends - while under her control - don't even realize that he's gone.
To be fair, this might be overestimating the influence the kids have on the Lego characters, but also... just imagine the angst...
Or don’t imagine it because you KNOW I already wrote fanfic about this lmao

About the SPN S14 finale...
**SPOILERS** if you haven’t seen the final episode of Supernatural season 14 yet, just scroll past this entire post and don’t look at the gifs!
So, I may be a little late to the party (or not, depending on how you consume the show, I guess?) but I wanna give my two cents about the finale. Or more specifically Chuck.
Looking around the net and also on the recent SPN convention I attended, I mostly hear people complain about how Chuck “turned evil”. Or they theorize that it’s not really Chuck but the Empty or Amara masquerading as him. I hear that “God was ruined” for people and stuff like that. And people are angry at him/the writers.
Now, I have to say that I really don’t understand that.
Tumblr media
We may have met God as a bubbely, quirky character on the show, someone who would sacrifice himself to save his creation, yes. But people seem to forget that it is still the same God who flooded the world to kill everyone, the same God who made Sodom and Gomorra happen, the same God who told Sam and Dean that he was “hands off” and that he watched them tackle the freakin Apocalypses without stepping in. The same God who put his sister in a cage to protect his creation. The same God who put his favourite son in a cage to protect his creation... He only returned to face Amara because all of creation was threatened, without that he wouldn’t have revealed himself.
And now Jack threatens his creation. I guess he could’ve put him in a box, too, but he doesn’t have an emotional connection to Jack, plus the missing soul makes him a wild card, so his reasoning is most likely “better safe then sorry”. We know souls are complicated, so I understand why he wouldn’t “just fix” Jack.
What about the whole “watch the Winchesters suffer” angle though?
Tumblr media
Well, why have Noah build an arc if God could’ve just teleported everyone worthy to safety? If you build something with LEGOs and play out a story with it, do you have a relationship with your toys? When you’re done, you knock them over and build something new. (roughly quoted, iirc Rob said this during PurCon5 about his take on God’s behaviour in this season)
He had a story he wanted to see. He’s a cosmic omnipotent being of immense power who happened to step in and help the ants in seasons past. Doesn’t mean he cares about Sam and Dean any more than (old) Death did.
Also, in earlier seasons Sam and Dean had at least a little respect for God. I can’t blame him for growing angry in Season 14...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean, wow Dean who do you think you’re talking to?
I mean, I understand the Winchesters, don’t get me wrong. I’d pbbly be pissed at God, too, after all they’ve been through. Especially when he later reveals he could have killed Jack at any time but he wanted Dean to sacrifice himself and kill his “son”. Yes, yes of course we’re all angry about that. But I still think it’s in character, considering it’s God. As Dean said himself in earlier seasons, people all over the world suffer horrible fates all the time and God doesn’t lift a finger.
And what about the ending?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, I can’t say I blame Chuck for knocking over his LEGOs after this.
Even though it might feel a bit temper tantrum-y. Maybe he’ll calm down in S15 and stop the End from happening. It’s already been alluded to that everything stops existing if God is killed - wether that’s true or not, we don’t know. But if that shot would’ve killed God, Sam would’ve snuffed out the universe in that moment. Think about that.
Tumblr media
So yes, I was surprised, too, that Chuck showed his dark side in this episode. But I don’t feel it’s out of character, and I don’t think it’s some other entity masquerading as God and I can’t say this “ruined” Chuck for me. On the contrary! I found it very interesting to get a glimpse at the wrathful side of God.
It kinda reminds me of the introduction of angels, where the show had to remind us that angels are warriors of heaven and not little chubby toddlers playing harps.
There. Now I’ve got those two cents off my chest.

An O.C. for Your Asses!!!
I wanna see if the characters are legit before I move forward with this short story im working on (I'm a character first kinda guy, so I work inside-out) leave any form of constructive critique you wish, they are still works in progress, thanks!!
Augustine Harriet Andersson
Age:22
Sign: Gemini (sun) Cancer (moon) Virgo (rising)
Height: 5'8
Eye Color: Formerly dark-brown, bleached to a pastel-hazel because of some dark magic fuckery
Hair Color/Cut: dark-brown,q shifting variations of a fade, whose design changes somewhat based on his thoughts and emotions (yes, this is an enchanted fade)
Build: lean, lightly muscled from years lifting cauldrons in his grandfather's potion shop
Notable Features: Dimples; left-dimple is deeper than right, multiple piercings on each ear, artificial left eye (looks organic but to magical eyes, it looks otherwise)
"Have you ever been like...fundamentally angry? I feel that way...like at my core, there's this rage that seethes and coils at the pit of my stomach, everyday, like a python that can't quite squeeze his prey all the way to death. Everytime I think I've grown up, forgiven something or someone or myself, there's this anger that tightens right back up all over again...like it's reminding me of something. Somedays...I feel like that feeling will petrify everything I've ever loved about myself, and I'll just be another slave to outrage and ego and pain...just like everyone else...haha, then I'll really be a normie."  -August Andersson, on his depression and internal anger issues.
Augustine Andersson is a witch-boy. But you could probably already tell that from looking at him: the way his eyes are almost constantly fixed towards some unseeable infinity, the way air molecules hum with fresh, manic energy around him, how he seems to absorb sunlight and the way his brown skin would filter the glow as a result of his connection to the natural...it was all very off putting to others around him for most of his young adult life. And as we all know, no one likes a freak, so such years had a hand in building his current trust issues, feelings of great anger and inadequacy, and all the tics and tricks he uses to keep such feelings at bay. He's not at a total loss; at his core he is a humanitarian, deeply compassionate and available to those who have managed to capture his heart, as well as wild and humorous. However, he keeps a tight lid on his darkest feelings and insecurities, out of fear that they may be too much for those around him (also, he might accidentally call forth a vile arch-daemon on accident, but that's neither here nor there.) After finally having had enough of his mundane time amongst the humans, he vanishes from his college campus one day and takes to the open road, hoping that like the many young, angsty teens in the movies he loves, he will find himself in his own solitude. But the best way to deal with oneself is when confronting someone else, and after a close-call with a reckless (and very cute) motorcycle rider on an interstate, August will be forced to deal with every single part of himself, the good, the bad, and the strange...
A few more things about him...
1. His father is Afro-swedish, hence his last name.
2. Loves to travel and is nomadic by nature.
3. He gets a special kind of warmth out of being moderately petty at all times.
4. He loves open spaces and bodies of water, as well as hikes through mountains (ok so he only went once in Vegas, so sue him, he really liked it!)
5. Surprisingly low maintenance, really just likes being around people that are happy, and the feeling easily rubs off on him.
6. Both positive and negative emotions easily rub off on him.
7. Can get caught up in moments of warm content, given his unstable interior life, and can get lost in wasting/spending time.
8. Gets restless easily.
9. Budding film buff, faves include Kill Bill vol. 1&2, Her, Moonrise Kingdom, Gone Girl, Blue is the Warmest Color, Moonlight, & Mean Girls.
10. August's father is very engaged with politics and civil rights, so in honor of that, he decided that his son's middle name would belong to one of the greatest figures of the civil rights movement: Harriet Tubman.
11. Favorite new movie is The Favourite.
12. Due to a lack of acceptance of his full self and the full spectrum of his sexuality, he is judgemental of others and holds them to the same near-impossible standards he holds for himself.
13. Things he expects from others: To read his mind and conjure what he wants without saying, to have his needs and boundaries respected without actually stating so, for others to fit in whatever box he thinks they should be in, for everyone's intellect to be slightly lower than his own, but high enough not to annoy him with silly questions, ect.
14. Listens to Lorde, J. Cole, Rex Orange County, Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Young Thug and assorted film soundtracks.
15. Enjoys playing into his double-sided nature when it suits him, and has a secret glee in melding into different roles depending on who's around him.
16. Is attracted to more eccentric personalities in platonic and romantic relationships
17. Smokes weed to escape boredom. (and his problems)
18. Smokes weed because he likes the feeling.
19. Is secretly a little ratchet, but he'll kill you if you say so, it'll fuck up his reputation as the quasi-sociopathic erudite.
Magic House-Thoth
Augustine is a member of the Sacred House of Life, witches whose magic is passed down from the Egyptian Gods themselves. August himself is a descendant of an African slave-witch, once known as Ashe. She was taken to Egypt as a typical piece of cargo from zealot raiders, and was sentenced to a life of building the pyramids. Or so she would have thought: Thoth, the God of Magic and Knowledge, took pity upon her and beguiled her to follow an invisible force into the desert one night. He then revealed himself to her in his ibis-headed brilliance and bestowed upon her a set of choices: he could free her now and set her loose across the desert with all the things she would need for survival, or he could give her secrets and wisdoms unknown to man at the time, but she would have to frequently return to him for lessons. Ashe always prized knowledge and growth over any material thing, or even something such as freedom (I prefer to disagree myself). And secrets from a God must count for that much more, right? She indulged in option two. Thoth grinned and whispered to her the mysteries of life, the secrets of the stars, and the riddles of worlds lost and intangible, he spoke magick into her very soul. She would then use her newfound knowledge to fool her captors, freed any slave that would believe in her, and with her wits about them, guided them across the desert to build a library-like sanctuary, in honor of Thoth. The former slaves then learned from the god's teachings, passed through Ashe, and became witches and educators in their own right, and Ashe came to lead this new coven of magi. This is how the House of Thoth became to be.
Magick: As a member of house of Thoth, August has the ability to manipulate various aspects of the moon, writing, hieroglyphics, knowledge and sciences, and the progression of time. His particular specialty is the creation of Moon Dust, a substance used as a medium for most of his spells. By gathering various quantities of mineral, be it: crystal, rocks, pearls, aluminum, or even silvers and golds, he can channel his magic into them and break down and rearrange their atomic components into a corrosive, abrasive substance that also tends to stick to objects due to an electric charge. This dust is also dangerous to breathe in. He tends to carry around a pouch or two on his person, as trying to create some on the fly is nearly impossible given how much time and intricacy is needed to create the substance. (I mean, working with just a pile of plain old rocks would take a couple of hours to convert, let alone harder or more distilled substances.) Spells that he has mastered so far include...
Spell of Refraction: A spell in which the moondust bonds to whomever or whatever August desires (sans the harmful effects, it's enchanted in this state) and whatever is enveloped in dust turns invisible via light refraction.
Spell of Revelations: He can spread his moondust over an area and have the pieces cling to imprints of negative emotion or dark magick. A spell used for forensic work.
Spell of Retribution: An offensive spell that uses moondust to its fullest offensive powers and creates small funnels of dust to ravage the opponent. The largest funnel made could surround a fully grown man.
Golemancy:  Can create golems out of the moon dust he has formed, usually no larger than a human toddler. They tend to take form roughly resembling lego-men (he was a big fan of the Lego Expanded Universe as a child), but one can easily be fooled by their size: each golem has the strength of three men, and can combine to further power themselves up.
There are a few spells that don't require the moon dust...
-The Veil: A surface-level illusion layered directly over the skin. This allows the caster to look like whatever he wants to look like and sound however he wants, but can be broken if struck with bad intentions (like a slap from an offended woman on the street)
-Somnus: A very old, yet practical spell. Also one that does not require moondust, this handy spell induces sleep.  Those affected by this spell will not remember being forced to sleep, but they will have active and vivid dreams for distraction. Also necessary for Dream Diving.
-Dream Diving:  A skill Augustine has yet to master, this allows the caster to astral project into one's consciousness for complete access to the afflicted parties mind, if the brain is distracted by dreams. August has gotten stuck in several public nude dreams, and it takes long hours to remove oneself from another's mind.
-Illusion Casting
-Temporary Madness Inducement
-Script Magick: By writing down a word or phrase on any surface that can be sufficiently marked on, whatever has been written manifests somehow, just so long as it is within his power. He can't create miracles with it though.

two anons on rights
I have a pile-up of asks in various stages of drafts and just no time this month, but here’s two that just came in and are relatively quick to answer.
What does the ‘no other producers can continue on’ mean? Is it different than “we'll end this in a way you have to go full reboot -- lions get destroyed, paladins die etc”? ... If they put their own copyrighted pilots as paladins in final battle & have them take over? You can’t continue this series with other EPs as they own the rights? Like that?
Here’s what the EPs own: their paychecks. Period, full stop.
That’s it. The EPs got salaries, were employees, and thus the company owns everything they did. It’s called work-for-hire. The worlds of television, movies, comics, gaming, and even music are littered with the bones of people who created on behalf of a company and got nothing, even as their creations became billion-dollar industries. The law is very clear, and I’ve seen no indication the EPs are (or even had the power to be) exceptions to the rule.
DW may grant the current EPs some level of recognition in continuations, as a courtesy for their contributions to the story. It doesn’t mean the EPs own any of it. If they get residuals (some percent of profits from sequels, etc), that would’ve been negotiated in their contracts at the start.
My guess? There are no residuals, and the EPs were betting on being asked to do a continuation (thereby guaranteeing themselves cushy careers shepherding the franchise). With DW apparently sending the EPs packing, the EPs may’ve retaliated by wanting to put the kibosh on any sequels. Basically, it’s a case of not being able to take DW’s toys and go home --- so instead, the EPs would choose to break the toys so no one else can have them.
What place do Koplars have in the franchise? They have EP credits, but the OG story isn’t theirs, DotU is a dub of Golion/another series; what place do [the Koplars] have in regard to [the GoLion] creators? Which rights did DW buy from them?
Technically, Voltron wasn’t just a dub. It was a complete reworking into a nearly-new story that happened to use existing visuals (thereby creating a quagmire of multiple copyrights for different parts, basically). Plus, DotU had a second season that never existed in the original. Effectively, the Koplars hold the copyright to Voltron in its American form. (See above for how EP is sometimes a courtesy title for past creators as well as present.)
The Koplars own the franchise; DW is a licensee, and probably negotiated rights in the contract between the parties. At minimum: to produce a TV show, to sell toys and other merchandise of/with characters and images from the show, and to produce related comics. Lego did the same for its DotU Voltron lego set, but its license probably only covers just the logo, name, and likeness. In other words, we won’t be seeing Lego’s animated show featuring Voltron, just as we won’t be seeing a Lego-based Voltron sold by DW.
Think of franchises as renting a historical landmark. You’d pay some amount to the landlord (this is the license fee part), with a promise that you’d invest some amount more in keeping up the property (this is the ‘improvement of the franchise’ aspect). In return, you can live on the property, rent it out for parties, let movies be filmed there, or turn it into a hotel -- whatever way you chose to make money off renting the property.
Violate the terms -- like, say, tearing the house down and installing a parking lot -- and you lose your license. It depends on the contract as to whether DW would pay additional fines. Generally speaking, assume they wouldn’t recoup any of their outlays to this point. I have no idea whether DW would retain ownership over their version of Voltron, but I can say the contract probably has extensive language covering who gets what, should the parties split.

Not Alone Anymore
takes place between the iron man 2 and the avengers basicallly au peter was tonys son all along and has to care for him. peter is a toddler
“Sir you have call on the line”
“Thank you kindly Jarvis” Tony said with a smirk as he picked up his phone.
“This is Stark” He said firmly
“Hello Mr. Stark my name is Caroline Frederica and I work for Child Services and I’m calling in regards to your son- “Tony who was half listening at the time was in the middle of drinking of his coffee when he here son and spit it all over his lab ordered Dum-E to clean it up, before getting back to the call.
“My WHAT?” what are you talking about?” Tony Exclaimed
“Do you know the name Mary Parker, Mr. Stark?” Caroline asked
“I don’t know Possibly, I’ve met many women in my life. Tony sighed.
“Mr. Stark, Mary Parker had a son Peter, Peter Parker. He is 6 years old, he’s yours.”
Tony was at a loss for words he hardly could remember who Mary was now he was being told that her son was his and he didn’t know about it.
“Mr. Stark are you still there?”
“Yes Sorry you just shook my world telling me I knocked up a girl and she didn’t decide to clue me in till now?”
“Mr. Stark that’s not why we called-“tony was beyond confused
“We called because Mary & her husband Richard were killed in a plane crash, so Peter’s next living relative is you.”
Tony didn’t know what to say he’s never met the kid and now he’s being asked to care for him. It made tony think about his parents, how they were taken from him as well. “Well at least we got something in common” he muttered grimly
“I’m not father material, I had no good examples growing up and it wasn’t until recently I wasn’t a complete mess myself.” Tony thinking about Howard in the back of his mind
“Mr. Stark if you don’t take him he will go into the foster care system. We searched for other relatives but none are still with us, his uncle was killed and his aunt died last year in a car accident.”
“Poor kid all that happened to him? I can relate to losing the parents but everyone close to him damn.”
He quickly shot Pepper a message that he needed to talk like now.
“Where is the kid now?”
“Currently at Queens’s memorial Hospital”
“Was he hurt?” he asked nervously
“No he was he after his mother was brought in after the accident and we have an office on site, he didn’t want to leave.” She responded sadly.
Tony rubbed his face and sighed Pepper was going to kill him probably, but it was the right thing to do. “I’ll be there in 30 minutes.”
“Fantastic Mr. stark I look forward to seeing you and I’m sure peter does too. May have a few things to sign depends how it goes I might just fax it at a later time.
“Ok see you soon.” Tony Sighed his life was about to drastically change
Not even a minute later Pepper walked into his lab asking what was so important.
“Pep you may want to sit down.” Tony said cautiously
“Tony I swear to god if your dying again I’ll kill you first myself.” She retorts
“No I’m not dying but apparently I am a father” tony paused and looked at pepper
“What?” Pepper’s Eyes were wide
“My playboy ways are coming to bite me in the ass I guess. Few years ago at a convention a woman named Mary Parker and me being me back in those days apparently back in those days forgot protection, I’m just confused why she did try getting money from me like all the other girl I slept with back in those days lying they were pregnant and shit she actually was and didn’t say a word. She didn’t want me know I had a kid. The only reason I found out was…” tony trailed off.
Pepper was stunned “Why Tony?”
“Mary and her husband died in an accident and child services just called and told me I’m his only living relative, I’ve never even met the kid.” Tony seemed shaken
“Tony are you trying to tell me you’re going to take this kid in?”  Pepper looked shocked.
Tony just stared at her after a minute or two of silence he said quietly “he’s got no one left, I’m all he got, and even you’ve said I’ve changed.
“Yes but Tony a child? When you can barely take care of yourself?”
“I can learn” Tony Replied Simply “He’s not going into foster care if I can stop it. I had to suffer alone when I lost my parents. I’m going to do my best to make sure he doesn’t go through that alone.”
Pepper was in awe of Tony “You won’t be alone Tony I Help as much as I can but I think at first it best for you to get to know each other”
“Your right Pep thanks for your support.”
He kissed her goodbye and walked out of the lab.
The drive to the hospital was the longest of his life it seemed he kept thinking of his parents, to Howards lack of love or affection, to the beating he would sometimes receive from Howard, to his mother being the complete opposite loving and caring and their deaths which still hurt as tony removed his sunglasses and walked inside the hospital he promised himself he would not end up like Howard.
As he followed the signs for child services, he finally found the office at the end of the hall. Once he got to the office he knocked and entered.
“Mr. Stark nice to finally meet you.” Caroline said
“Likewise. Where is the little tyke?” tony asked looking around the room seeing it covered in Legos and other toys.
“He should be back any minute he went to get a bite to eat with a coworker.” “Are you nervous to meet him?”
Me nervous as if Tony thought as he sat across from Caroline and put he hands in his pockets needing to keep them busy.
Few minutes later Tony heard the office door open and saw an older woman holding a younger boys hand. That be peter he thought. She let go he walked inside tony could stop watching the boy he seemed so like him in every way. Tough outer shell guard from getting hurt. Tony didn’t want to scare him so he watched him play with his toys, and was mesmerized how smart the 6 year old was.  He was building challenging structures no normal 6 year could make. Finally tony steadied his nerves and walked over to peter playing with Legos.
“Wow that’s impressive kid” tony said with a smile point a one of peter Lego creations.
Peter was a little nervous but nowhere near as tony.
“Thanks mister it from my favorite movie”
“What movie is that?” tony asked
Star wars” peter stated simply
Tony giggled slightly of course his kid has seen star wars and is obsessed.
“Mind if I play with you..?”
“Peter”
“Do you mind peter? My name is tony by the way”
“Sure not like I have anyone else anyways.” This made Tony’s smile falter of course he misses his family but I don’t want to scare him by surprise the dad you thought was your dad wasn’t. Tony finally settled on asking
“Kid what’s wrong?”
“Lost my family recently now I got no one.” Peter looked down with tears starting to form.
“I’m so sorry to hear that peter” eventually they both played in silence until Peter looks at Tony and asks.
“What’s going to happen to me now?”
Tony got really nervous he didn’t know what to say but Caroline had heard him and said “Peter dear go with Mr. stark.”
Peter’s eyes brightened when he looked up at tony again smiled
“You’re who my mom mentioned to me.”
“I suppose I am I hope it was nice things”
“Yeah I think mostly that you were a superhero and…” he had tears in his eyes “my Dad”
Tony smiled “thank god you knew that we avoided so much drama”
After a minute or so of crying peter hugged tony as tight as he could and said
“Now I’m not alone anymore”
Tony smiled and hugged him back replying
“Now were both not alone anymore”
Tony took peter’s hand and took him back home where he belongs.
i want to do more of toddler peter so i will try to continue like him under tony care i just wanted to set up how he got there.
@veryhomobro @kaitwin3 I think I got your suggestions on here its an au though

Chapter One Verse Six
Awareness is localized biomechanically, at the very least. Cognition and self-awareness is a biomechanically sourced aspect of awareness and often, due to the bias of human perspective, conflated with awareness generally. Awareness, in terms of our discussion, is best understood as synonymous with the semi-metaphysical consideration of the cosmic wavelength in a manifest form.
“Biomechanically” points to the idea that the flesh, our consideration of life, if an organic equivalent to the machines we build. The most important part of this comparison is that our limits are determined by our physical form. We can’t know if said awareness only exists in living forms, but in any case the experience of any other organism would differ based on the physical form. “You are not your body” (Resh.1.1), ergo that which is left when all else is “stripped away” (Resh.1.5) is dependent in its manifestation on the physical form through which it is manifested.
It is implied, by “[a]wareness is localized” (Resh.1.6), that awareness both exists without manifest and is not divided up by manifestation. I think of it like a box of Lego: the parts you bring out to play with are still part of the larger unit, metaphysically speaking, but at the moment they happen to be acting as a rocket ship or whatever else is built. When playtime is over, the rocket ship is disassembled and returned to the larger unit of Lego. Here, the distinction between the physical and metaphysical must be noted. The physical blocks would be the atoms making up our universe, never created nor destroyed, being rearranged into a separate form. The metaphysical idea of the box of Lego would be awareness, existing throughout the physical universe with no change outside of manifest; removing Lego bricks from the box makes them no less part of the box. If it helps to think linguistically, consider the difference between playing with Lego and putting up the Lego. During playtime, there’s a divide between the pieces you’re working with and the box of parts you can pull from; when told to put up your Lego, the blocks and box become a unit as returning the box to its place is just as much a part of the action as returning the pieces to the box.
In the line between manifest and deity, “[c]ognition and self-awareness” could be seen as somewhat beyond manifest. As has been previously laid out, such things are “a product of manifest”. They are heavily dependent on the physical form we occupy, as they typically deal with ourselves in manifest and likewise relation to the external. “[T]he bias of human perspective” comes from the fact that, as our conscious experience is centred in our manifest form, we tend to view things from the manifest form usually convenient for day to day purposes. It is easiest, when viewing things from a solely manifest perspective, to “conflate [these] with awareness generally”.
To say awareness is “the semi-metaphysical consideration of the cosmic wavelength in a manifest form” seems to be an obscurum per obscurius, so let’s work through it. At the centre of this is the phrase “cosmic wavelength”, which we have discussed previously; there’s a whole chapter dedicated to it here if you want to read ahead. Simply, it is awareness viewed from a top-down perspective rather than bottom-up. This is in the verse as “consideration ... in a manifest form”, as opposed to considering awareness beyond the manifest form; they are the same. “Semi-metaphysical” is a modifier for the consideration, “semi” as awareness is a consideration semantically connected to the manifest, as that is implicitly the angle from which we are viewing it.
Finally, the idea of “awareness” should be clarified. From the manifest perspective, it is quite straightforward. You are aware of your body. You are aware of your thought. The one addendum is the metaphysical aspect uniting this facet of you with the rest of creation. Tomorrow we will discuss the circumstance in which awareness finds itself manifest, and, as always, if you want to read ahead the full chapter is here.

Robot Toy Research
As well as the Star Wars replica toys that I researched, I decided to go in depth with others. I looked at Cozmo, an educational robot toy aimed at children which allows for programming and entertainment.
Tumblr media
As with all robot “characters” I have been looking at, Cozmo is designed with appeal in mind. To add curvature to suggest friendliness rather than hard edges, his “head” shape is a rounded cube with soft edges. As journalists from around the time of its mid-2010s launch stated, there is no doubt that his design is comparable to WALL-E’s, with an illuminated face design comparable to EVE’s.
The tyre tracks serve more than just an aesthetic purpose as they are physically used to manoeuvre the robot when played with by children (or its target audience). Tracks are superior to wheels and tyres when going up steep surfaces.
It is worth noting that a slight redesign with a black and gold scheme (and green eyes) was introduced, named Vector. I think Vector’s big bubbly green eyes help shake away the association with EVE. Additionally Vector’s eyes can change colour depending on the activities he is doing. I think it is a phenomenal feat to have the robots’ emotions display through their eyes and it adds to the cuteness factor substantially.
Tumblr media
Lastly, I would like to state that I find it very intriguing to think about how these robots were entirely designed from the ground up to function as toys - in comparison to the Star Wars droids and WALL-E, who were designed to be appealing film characters first and foremost. I would be intrigued to learn about the process of designing such toys as I am sure the creators must have had to sacrifice appeal or aesthetic for functionality, as the character is the toy itself.
Tumblr media
And so I did learn - “Designing Cozmo was a collaboration between engineers and animators. The robot was storyboarded and tested like an animated character for film or TV” (a quote from the creators about the process). I think that looking at the design process for this has been beneficial to me and it allows me to see how I would go about performing a similar feat.
Tumblr media
I find the alternative eyes for Cozmo to be rather spooky. I find it intriguing that the three columns of inspirations for the eyes were cartoony open eyes, dot eyes and robot eyes. It is not a surprise to me to see BURN-E, EVE, and MO (all from WALL-E) as inspirations in the robot column. I was surprised to see so many potential iterations that went unused and, despite being just the eyes, seem to change the look of the entire robot. It goes to show to me how important it is to get these distinct features right, and that I prefer more simple eyes rather than overly cartoony shapes, but it needs a degree of cartoon-ness to give it the edge it needs to appeal to the target audience.
Lego Mindstorms is a Lego set with programmable parts. It effectively allows its target consumers (“10+”) to build their own robots (but with five sets of pre-designed instructions), and I think is extremely cool. As with Cozmo, it can be coded with a phone app and has a lot of playability (not to mention compatibility with other Lego pieces and sets), but at the cost of ~400USD.
Tumblr media
As there are many designs and they are all fully customisable, I will not review them individually, but I do like how they vary from humanoid design/mech shape, to vehicular and even quadruped animal-shaped. It truly shows how many directions I could go into with a toy robot design. Despite Lego tank tracks existing, none of these use them and they use either wheel or leg-based movement.
Tumblr media
In regards to the packaging, its simple box shape is just akin to other Lego sets, but I really like the design of the box and the strong unique “teal” shade that is dedicated to the Mindstorms range, and how it contrasts well with the magenta background around the robots pictured. As well as this, unique teal blocks are made for this set to match the theme. Whilst I am a huge fan of how this set encourages customisable building and replayability, I do not think that I could achieve such with my own creation, though I could contemplate a Transformer-style modular rebuild system.

Wooden robots on Etsy
It's all good creating robots for fun or giving them away for free on beaches but the real skill comes with pricing them fairly on online websites such as Etsy. pricing homemade creations fairly on an online forum or shop is fairly difficult because you don't really know what kind of price people are willing to pay. Because of this there is a whole variation of prices regarding homemade wooden robots.
I'm going to compare 5 different wooden Robots and their prices from Etsy.
The first robot I want to look at is a simple wood and rope design priced at £32.40 to £46.20 depending on the colour and whether or not you get engravings or not.
Tumblr media

This wooden robot seems a bit overpriced for a few blocks of wood attached to something cord but that’s only My opinion. I feel like I could probably make it for a lot cheaper using the same or similar materials so ideally I would only buy this if it was a  fair bit cheaper. I can see why they would price it as it is though because they have handcrafted it using their own time and resources and they want to make a profit out of it, still I do think that it is a little pricey for what it is.
The next design I want to look at is a very boxy very Michelin man type robot priced at £21.60. This very cute looking robot I feel is priced quite fairly if not a little low for what it is. I really like this design because it is boxy but still detailed with the individual layers of wood making up the legs. It also is quite fairly priced for what it is. I would personally say that you could price it up at £25-£26 quite easily.

If we compare this pricing to the last wooden robot we can see that this robot has been created and priced fairly on the basis that yes it is simple but it has a fair amount of material on it. This is what sets this design apart from the first design.
The third design I want to look at is another boxy cute wood and string design priced at £18. This design is very polished, well made and incredibly well priced for what it is. This little robot differs from the others because the wood looks different because it is a different wood that has also been treated with oil to make it more child friendly. Looking back on this price, this is also another design that I would feel good about putting it up a few pounds in price because of how much detail and thought has gone into this little wooden toy robot.

The fourth design I want to look at is a wooden robot recreation of Bender the robot from Futurama priced at £34.04. I must admit that its pricing is a little specific but it is still priced moderately well for what it is. I only view this as moderately fair pricing because even though it is painted and detailed the detailing is a bit simplistic. However, this isn’t a case of ‘I could make that for cheaper’ because it does have curves in the design and curves are awkward. It's more of a proper thought about buying it rather than going ‘brilliant that's cheap I'll get that!’. In terms of the actual design, I quite like this design because it is of a very notable character and you can clearly see that which I Like.

The final wooden robot design I looked at was a little 2 robot set of very simple and plain wooden robots priced at £8.99. These are great as little presents for a gift bag or a little present for a toddler because they are simple and cheap. In terms of their actual design they are incredibly simple as they are literally just a rectangle of wood cut up into basic blocky body parts and then strung together but that works with the price they are priced at.
Tumblr media

Comparing these to mass produced plastic toys like for example either a Lego AT-AT or a plastic model AT-AT these wooden models are daily priced for what they are which is lovingly handcrafted and somewhat detailed little (or large) wooden robot figures. The reason why I would rate these wooden prices fair over the mass produced prices is because a lot of the mass produced prices don't tend to go below £40 or £45 even though they are mass produced. That is a big reason as to why I think that a lot of these handcrafted wooden robots are priced more fairly than the mass produced Lego or plastic model kits out in the market.

Crimes Unto Heaven
 MMmmmmOk so
This is A Gag
to be clear(tbc, fyi)[1].
I don’t actually think the Hiveswap team is attempting to cover-up TERRIBLE ZODIAC CRIMES to protect themselves from the Star Police and avoid Astrajail or anything, and obvsl they can structure the EZ however they like since the Zodiac’s been Public Domain for 3000 years, and their Extended additions are their creations. And, while I don’t take it terribly seriously, it’s Fun! Which: Yay. But, I noticed some seeming-discrepancies when looking it over to write a “My Thoughts” response to @witchknights on the EZ, and the idea of running those down a wee bit and writing about them was Also Fun, so I’m Doing This o_o I’m Making This Happen(Requisite(TM)) o_o o_o
My original idea was to get superdetailed about it and explain everything, but then I started taking SCREENCAPS of The Star Grid(this is what I’m calling The Symbol List), and each individual Sign so I could group them all into their various CATEGORIES to illustrate my arguments(:| :|), and then I said to myself “ok this is ridiculous, you don’t have that kind of time, your screencapper can’t isolate fragments on the MSPA page for some reason, it doesn’t seem like you can save custom-sized/shaped selection tools in Paint3D, and you are beiNG RIDICULOUS!” so instead I’m going to just write up the basic patterns I noticed(which prob aren’t all the ones in there, given Hussie), their seeming-violations, and their possible implications, according to Me. You -Our Dear, Sweet, Dear, Dear, Sweet Readers- can imagine the visuals if you like, though, I have no problem with this I am Very Gracious[2] vuv
EZ Rules
Each sign-class has two associated suffixes(they’re also associated with the Aspect of the canon troll of that sign. Possible Sign Pun? Can mean Both??): one for Prospit, one for Derse. The List:
Aries(Time): -ries, D; -rist, P.
Taurus(Breath): -un, D; -us, P.
Gemini(Doom): -mini, D; -mino, P.
Cancer(Blood): -cen, D; -cer, P.
Leo(Heart): -o, D; -lo, P.
Virgo(Space): -ga, D; -go, P.
Libra(Mind): -za, D; -ra, P.
Scorpio(Light): -pia, D; -pio, P.
Sagittarius(Void): -ittarius, D; -ittanius, P.
Capricorn(Rage): -iborn, D; -icorn, P.
Aquarius(Hope): -rius, D; -nius, P.
Pisces(Life): -sci, D; -sces, D.
Now, a Neat thing you’ll notice is that these suffixes are exclusively arranged in top-left-to-bottom-right diagonal series across The Star Grid(I’ll symbolize it \ thusly). So Aries(Derse) is the topleftmost, then the second sign in Taurus is Taurist(Aries-Prospit), the third sign in Gemini is Gemries(Aries-Derse), etc, etc. This pattern holds true; you’ll only find those suffixes along a \ starting with their “parent” sign(the “True Sign”. I’ll call this the “Alpha Sign”, with the meaning First not the HS meaning, to avoid “True”’s connotations), or in another \ an appropriate period down(the period being how long it takes to work through the other sign-suffix \’s. So the Taurus suffixes are on the \ below the Aries, and the Gemini below the Taurus, etc, until it reaches the Aires again). Generally, the Derse-Prospit alternating holds true as well, and that has implications for the verticals and horizontals; to maintain this they’d have to alternate between Derse and Prospit and the horizontals do from Aries untIL-
-LIBRA! At the middle of the chart, at the Libra-line, the pattern breaks down. BUT! From Libra to Lipio along the vert the breakdown in alternating starts at the Libra signs; beginning with Libza it becomes much less predictable. The Arza-Libza \ is “regular” until Scorza, then regular again until Pira. The Arga-Liga \ becomes “irregular” at the Virgo-line(Lega, Virga instead of Virgo). The Aro-Libo \ becomes irregular at Leo. The Arcen-Licen \ becomes irregular at Cancer and is highly irregular from that point on. Like I said I’m not going to go through, find, and list all of the irregularities and I’m CERTAINLY NOT going to try and figure out if there’s a mathematical relation that defines the irregularities(if they are formulaic, or, as I suspect, the result of a non-mathematizable logic), but you get the idea. Periodicity’s Whack! It ain’t right!! I doubt this has any bigger implications beyond the HS Crew wanting to place the 12 canon trolls as the “True Signs” of each of the sign families -which only makes sense from an Earth-centric or Game-centric viewpoint; I mean, Troll culture would order the signs by some interior logic of its own if it wasn’t a narrative creation, and wouldn’t care about preserving the primacy of 12 unknowable nascent apotheokids at the end of history- and there are other bits of evidence that this is the case that raise other objections.
Another pattern in the EZ is that the last(Omega) Sign in each Sign Class shares the suffix(and Moon and Aspect) of the first(Alpha) sign in the next class. This makes a sort of sense if you conceive of them as a ring or continuum: The Omega Sign in each Sign-Class(or symbology, or alphabet) would be the one “closest” to the next sign-class, and so it displays this similarity in its naming until-
-LIBRA! AGAIN!! Or Virgo, depending on how you want to figure it. There is a regular, predictable pattern -Arus, Taurmini, Gemcer, Cano, Lego- until the Virgo|Libra Interface where Virgo ends with Virza and Libra begins with, well, the obvious :\  Though a larger pattern of Omega Signs having one of the two suffixes of the next Sign Class over holds true; just this smaller pattern of Alpha and Omega sharing a suffix breaks down. Both Libra and Scorpio(or Virgo and Libra) are irregular, then the pattern reemerges at Scorpittarius, only to break down again at the Aquarius|Pisces interface. The Pisces|Aries interface is also irregular.
Just to give you an idea of the sort of thinking this can make room for in the EZ, I’ll do a deeper dive on Libra, por ejemplo(though similar implications apply to Virgo, and other sign-classes). One possible implication, I’m sad to say, is that Lipia shouldn’t be the Libra Omega(thus Ultimate) sign, but rather Lipio, which actually makes some very good symbological sense as:
This is Lipio
Tumblr media
This is Libra
Tumblr media
To begin with, Lipio is a struck-through latin upsilon, which looks like(but is not related to) an upside-down Greek omega. Upsilon, the ancestor of our “u”, is the first letter in the latin word Ultimatus which means mostly the same thing as Greek Omega; both mean “the last, final, end”[3]. So making it the “ultimate”, or Omega, Libra Sign(which is an Omega-themed sign-class) would be a Funny Symbology Pun. Its design would visually reinforce this Omega postion through it’s “letter” being “reversed” in form to Libra’s. Libra is an Omega “balanced” over a line, symbolizing a balanced scale; A potential visual reversal of this would be an overturned scale, an “upside-down” Omega with the bar across it, rather than under. It would also create a nice bracketing of the sign-class, though sadly not a complete one since Libra and Lipio aren’t mirrored. Of course, if they were, then Lipio would be in a kind of balance with Libra, which would undermine it’s conceptual opposition to it, making it less symbolically satisfying. If you dig that sort of reading *looks away at sky, squint-frowns, and kicks dirt; entirely metaphorically*
I suppose you COULD equally say that Scorpia should be the Alpha sign for Scorpio, but that’d break the Derse/Prospit pattern and I refuse to play favorites u_u u_u u_u Replacing Libra with Libza is, of course, Right Out since that’d mess up the visual symbolism. Although...
Libza
Tumblr media
Lipia
Tumblr media
Crap -__- One is angular, one curvy; one is balanced, one unbalanced; one is open the other closed; they are in (at least)THREE symbolic and conceptual oppositions: these DO make good visually symbolic opposites |:T |:T AND it’d preserve both the Derse/Prospit alternating, AND AND the Omega-Alpha interface to Scorpio, AND AND AND switching Libra and Libza would make Terezi the Fulcrum of the Libra Sign-Class which would be VERY thematically and symbolically satisfying since, if you think about it, The Omega-Sign being most like the Sign-Class to the right implies the Alpha-Sign would be the sign most like the Sign-Class to the Left, logically making the Fulcrum Sign, that furthest from the ends, the “Most Signiest Sign” within each Sign-Class. ANDx4 the \ pattern would then break at Libra instead of Scorpio...
 Daisuki :| :| :|
....Though I now realize that would ruin a potential 8reak/Scorpio pun....
Moving On........
The other Big irregularity I found was the Pisces line. ALL it’s Derse signs/suffixes are in the top half of the line, and ALL its Prospit ones are in the bottom half. Pretty odd.
The only other thing I have to say is that I noticed, in a very cursory way, that some signs are visually similar to the sign-class they share a suffix with(a decent number of Aquarius-suffixes seem to be), and some don’t. It’d be Cool if they’d really committed to this, but I understand why they didn’t since such a level of detail is really stressful to maintain and also creatively restrictive. But, like, clearly Sagius:
Tumblr media
should be a Leo-suffix(Sagio or Sagilo), and Camino
Tumblr media
should be an Aquarius-suffix(Canrius or Cannius). I Mean: C L E A R L Y. Right??[4]
Anyway, those are the SHOCKING REVELATIONS of my RUTHLESS PEDANTRY that will surely bring down this WRETCHED HOUSE OF CARDS we’re all living in, No Doubt in an Noir-Sufficient-Fashion. If I find/think of any more examples of Dastardly Chaos Weighty with Meaning in our beloved fictional cosmology, I’ll let y’all know :p
[1]Also tbc(and because repeating it here would mark the third time I’ve written it, and I find such triplication aesthetically Pleasing nwn nwn), the EZ lacks my own, secretly created and never shared, fansigns, and so it’s obvsl an incomplete symbology, possibly recovered from a damaged husklet for pre-wrigglers yet unable to pull their own pants on umu
[2]I’ll still probably end up doing that at somepoint though, so there might be a bevisualed vers of this post in the future X| X| X|
[3]Fun Fact: the “extreme” meaning that our “ultimate” inherited from ultimatus may possibly have a connection to omega even though it lacks such an explicit meaning since omega literally means “big O”. Etymology is Fun for many reason, but this un-looked-for and unexpected explication of an anime pun, years after I had last watched an episode of the series in question, is one of the better ones I’ve encountered uwu uwu
[4]Though Camino is a Gemini suffix, so it’s satisfying in it’s own ways.

Video Games: The Dirty Truth About Why I Gave Them Up
Tumblr media
I've been struggling with something for a while now. It's equal parts nostalgia, leisure, and self-reward battling a middle-aged father's bizarre need for productivity and hard work. It's a thought that comes up at least one evening every weekend. It's a debate on how to unwind or reset in some way after the workweek. I could read a book, write, watch a TV show or a movie, surf YouTube, or, maybe, play video games…
But every time (Every. Single. Time), I decide against video games. And every time, I kind of regret it. Depending on my energy level, I land on one of the other options listed above. If I'm completely exhausted, I zone out on YouTube, basically comatose, until I drag myself upstairs and pass out. If I'm slightly above zombie IQ, I'll watch a TV show or a movie. I may even make an event of it with some snacks and drinks. If I'm feeling just a little more alive, I'll watch a documentary or read something. And finally, if the week hasn't kicked my butt and I'm feeling like I have a little more to give, I'll crack open the laptop and put on my creative hat. I'll do some editing, or write a short story, or even work on a novel. BUT (and it's a big but…), it doesn't matter what my energy level is, I can't ever seem to land on that one thing that I always imagine would be great for any occasion—video games. And it's only until recently that I figured out why.
Tumblr media
First, let me clarify—I love video games. As a kid, I did kid things. I played cops-n-robbers, Legos, basketball, and Zelda: A Link to the Past (can I get an, "Amen?"). In all, I had a pretty balanced childhood, but I definitely spent at least a quarter of my "free" time in front of the SNES (and later the Nintendo-64). And the majority of that time was spent playing RPGs (role-playing games. Those ones where you go on quests and solve puzzles, as opposed to sports games, first-person shooters, or… I don't know, Mario Paint). There was something about these games that enraptured me. They pulled me into fantastical worlds, allowing me to experience adventure, excitement, fear, and triumph beyond my own imagination. And with time, my imagination bloomed, rivaling the stories of the very games that had awoken it. And soon I was coming up with my own ideas that would have made those games better. And thus, my writing career began.
And slowly, my video game "career" died. I can't tell you when it happened, exactly. Well, actually I guess I can. Marriage. But the writing was on the wall long before that. College left very little brainpower for the kind of games I liked (the kind that challenged me intellectually with puzzles and story decisions), so with my interests in writing growing steadily, my gaming was basically reduced to playing Mortal Kombat with my roommate (don't get me wrong, MK is amazing for what it is). It just seemed like other things were replacing that past time that had so shaped my thoughts and creativity as a child. And though I didn't know it at the time, the main thing replacing it was my writing. But as I said, I finally made that connection recently and started trying to figure out why, and with a little contemplation and research, I came up with two words: consumption and interaction.
Tumblr media
Now, I'm no psychologist. If I were, I'd probably have better definitions for the ideas that I'm about to present. But even still, I have a lot clearer idea of how and why I spend my time. You see, from what I understand, everything we do in our waking hours (perhaps even while sleeping) can be categorized on the consumption-interaction spectrum. If you consider my explanations earlier of which activities I engage in depending on my energy level, you'll begin to catch my meaning. If I have nothing left to give, I consume mindless YouTube videos like junk food. There's no value to it, but it satisfies a base need for entertainment. Conversely, if I'm feeling particularly stimulated and energetic, I'll lean more towards creating in the form of writing. It's these creative activities that I classify as "interacting" because I'm not sure we can ever truly create without ourselves being changed on some level by that creation.
My work as a physical therapist would rank high on the "interaction" scale because I have to constantly question, test, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients. In short, like creating and editing stories, it's a mental workout (unlike mindless YouTube videos at the other end of the spectrum, which rarely challenge the mind to question, consider, or think anything new). But you know what else is a mental work out? RPG games. Boom.
If you've never played them, you may not believe me. But imagine trying to solve a crossword puzzle while reading a book and playing Hungry Hungry Hippos at the same time, and then throw in some fireballs. They stimulate every mental faculty available, forcing you to see every challenge from a new perspective to move to the next level, all while trying to stay alive. And if you still don't believe me, you're just going to have to take the word of a wise old man who has had experience in this and many other areas of life.
Tumblr media
So, in the end, I realized that video games were never just a leisure activity for me. They were preparation for my ability to create stories of my own. They were writing classes with training-wheels. Now, I'm not saying all video games are this way. As I said earlier, sports games and multi-player shooters may be lower on the consumption-interaction spectrum, but probably not as low as you'd think. I mean, consider the level of creativity required to outsmart another human opponent on the battlefield. You have to think five steps ahead like in chess while managing the stresses and adrenaline spikes of real-life competition. They're simply forcing the player to interact in different ways, training the for different real-life situations (and before you say something dumb like, "Yeah, shooting games are training players to sneak guns into schools," you need to realized that I've brutally slaughtered thousands of virtual enemies in my lifetime and I've never once had a violent inclination toward another actual human being. If your child is struggling with verbal or physical abuse, or any other psychological, chemical, or emotional imbalance, it's your responsibility along with the rest of that child's support structure to do something about it. Not a video game. Rant over).
So why don't I play video games anymore. Simply—I don't need them. They've taught me what I need to know in order to interact on a more meaningful level. A level that will make the world a better place. As a child, I learned in school, from my parents, and from creative sources (including video games). As an adult, I continue to learn through reading and other sources of knowledge, but I have started to mold that accumulated knowledge and redistribute it for others to consume and interact with. In some ways, that's the ultimate goal of civilized society—contribute to future generations by synthesizing what you've learned, packaging it, and distributing it in some understandable, relatable, and meaningful way.
And sure, there's a chance that, when I'm old and gray, I'll revisit the enchanting lands waiting within Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana, and Zelda (dear Lord, please imbue my daughters with a love for video games). But until then, I'll keep creating lands of my own for others to visit and explore. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

LEGO CREATIONS BY MASTER BUILDERS THAT SHOWCASE WHY LEGO IS NOT JUST A CHILDREN’S TOY!
Tumblr media
LEGO’s are literally one of the constructing blocks of our childhood. Artists and designers, however, have elevated this easy brick and used it to create fantastic sculptures, moving models to even a drivable car. It is true, if we start a project, laying one brick at a time perfectly, no matter how complicated we need our masterpiece to be, you'll get there. So with all the ample time on our hands. This curated series will encourage you first of all this humble children’s toy and create a masterpiece that Lego Creations showcases your skills and takes your engineering abilties to the next level!

Using over 100,000 Lego pieces, clothier Ekow Nimako imagines the Kumbi Saleh 3020 CE a Ghanaian city a thousand years inside the future. This artwork is the center-piece for his exhibition titled Building Black Civilizations and showcases details like nothing you have ever visible before, almost paying homage to the Game of Thrones name collection! Oh, and if each person wishes a challenge, I virtually consider it would be extremely good to have a LEGO title sequence for Game of Thrones!   Tesla
Tumblr media
Tesla-fan and LEGO-whiz BrickinNick created a scaled-down version of the Tesla Cybertruck made entirely out of LEGO bricks. The resemblance is really uncanny, so much so that I’m starting to think the automotive layout team at Tesla possibly used LEGO pieces to conceptualize the layout (I’m kidding!). Probably as indestructible as the real thing (have you ever ever seen a lego brick break??), the Cybertruck currently sits in LEGO’s Ideas forum, gathering votes from the public. If approved, LEGO can also just release their personal respectable kit, but until then, we’ve were given this outstanding construction by means of BrickinNick whole with a gap the front trunk and rear vault.   Iron man

Milan Sekiz combines his love for Iron Man, wearable designs, and all things LEGO with this Iron Man suit! The main challenge for Milan to build this Iron Man-inspired MOC was to find a way to improve his mobility while wearing it and of course make it visually appealing at the same time.

I locate it nearly impossible to say the words ‘Under the Sea’ without breaking into the iconic Little Mermaid song! But this complete shape created with the aid of Ryan Van Duzor (@the.Bearded.Pescador) has me in awe! Displayed at the LEGO House, this complex shape replicates the underwater life with beautiful details. Focusing at the littlest fish to a shark, all replicated to scale. It is true, everything’s better when it is wetter, under the sea!   Typewriter
Tumblr media Tumblr media
UK LEGO Masters winner Steve Guinness decided to take us on a ride down memory lane with his LEGO typewriter assignment on LEGO Ideas. He originally designed and constructed the typewriter, made entirely of LEGO. At some point of the final a part of the LEGO Masters TV series. A British truth display where teams compete to build the best LEGO projects. The vintage layout is made absolutely from LEGO. Functions a working mechanism that is driven by using a hand crank. The typewriter turned into firstly outfitted with a power functions motor. But Guinness later determined to go with the old college hand crank. Showcasing the versatility and modularity of LEGO, this typewriter might be an lovable accompaniment to any office or home space!

Built from greater than a million Lego pieces, the Bugatti Chiron duplicate isn’t just a status model, it genuinely drives too! Weighing over 3,000 pounds, the automobile can boost up to barely over 12 mph. Which sounds even extra dazzling while you recognise that the auto’s engine is entirely from Lego too! Two batteries within the automobile function its overall energy source. And despite the fact that there isn’t a fuel. Or acceleration pedal (as the auto is driven by way of voltage level). There's a working pedal for the brake.

A absolutely working version of a Sheriff’s safe using best LEGO creations. It all commenced when designer Il Buono was looking a spaghetti western. Thinking how a safe aggregate lock definitely works. That sparked the concept of building one out of LEGO. Now, after countless hours of prototyping, refining, and perfecting. They may be assuring the end result will make any aspiring brick robber rethink their profession path. It’s compact, simple, dependable and smooth to operate. There are 24 viable combinations. You must pick and construct your own, preferred, secret code. And of course, it’s all constructed from LEGO – no custom parts, no cheating. Fast and Furious

And for all the LEGO creations portions mendacity round after you end building, Studio NINE’s LEGO like minded furniture aims at being a playground for your children. The furniture comes with a machined textured layer that’s all too familiar. Made from Corian, the polymer-primarily based marble substitute, the furnishings has a premium sense and a easy design… The cause of this easy layout being twofold. It can either blend properly into a residence with Scandinavian styling. Or can be infinitely embellishing by the use of pieces of Lego.
