Ib was made in 2012 by kouri, and recently got a remake available on most current-gen consoles and Steam! It's a very charming game about a young girl going to an art museum with her parents, falling into one of the paintings, and trying to find her way back to the real world. The whole game is about two hours long and has fun puzzles and amazing characters that constantly keep you engaged and curious, and I recommend it to basically everyone. There are plenty of YouTubers who've played it back in the day, ManlyBadassHero has played both the original and the remake if you don't feel like buying it, and it's 14 dollars on Steam and E-Shop and can also get the original for free at vgperson!
Off was made in 2008 by Mortis Ghost, and is a very story-driven game with mild combat. In Off you play as The Batter, who's on a sacred mission to purify the world of evil spectres. The Batter is such a funny character to play because he just is a born hater, and it makes character dialogue very fun. Getting to explore the zones and meeting their bosses, and seeing the effects of purification make the world-building in this game so haunting, it's one of those childhood games for me and has always been wedged in my brain. it's about 2-3 hours and you can download Off for PC at the off fandom wiki (for free of course).
overall these games are iconic staples of the RPG horror genre and i'd be a different person had they not come into my life, I love them dearly and would love for you, my spry young reader, to have your life affected by them as well ❤️🌹
