Going on a tangent about Minho and Thomas, how they realized they like(d) each other

Because I think it's cute

Thomas obviously gets sent into the Glade.

And he sees what is Minho, but doesn't understand that they're going to interact more than once, so he gawks over Minho without saying anything

Minho kind of notices and thinks it's just Thomas staring at anything because it's new to him

When Thomas interacts with Minho, he's internally SO confused. "Why is this guy so rude? What is up with him? And why do I LIKE him??"

He thought it was just jealousy abt running

But Thomas couldn't bear the thought of ANYONE getting hurt, setting off primal instincts (wanting to help the Gladers) so he jumps into the Maze w/ Minho

Minho thought he was weird tbh. He was like "that's a bit GOOFY"

But then when he saw Thomas risk EVERYTHING to help Alby he was like. "Ok he's attractive in like a bro way I'll be this guy's friend I'm definitely straight Wait no there is no romance here"

This went on for like. Until the Scorch. Because they both don't understand what love is in their memory being wiped.

BUTTT when Thomas saw Minho get lightning striked, he was worried and FINALLY. Was like "OK I like him a little to much for this to be friendly only"

Thomas was confused (haha he's always confused tho) bc he was like "I thought I liked Teresa"

And there goes bisexuality brrrr.

Uhhhh Minho didn't want Thomas to think he wasn't attractive or like didn't want him to think he was weak so he mostly was like "stfu I'm fine"

And Minho soon learned that HOLY SHIT HE'S IN LOVE WITH THOMAS???

This is surprising absolutely no one but him.

So- Minho wanted to tell Thomas but for plot convenience he got kidnapped by WCKD (just bc I like angst)

Hahaha Thomas definitely wasn't worried. Not at all.

Except he was like a whimpering golden retriever mess when people kept saying they couldn't do anything

So movie happen!They get Minho back bc I wanna get to the fluffy part! ;;

Minho saw Thomas sad because of Teresa's death. And he was like 'I wouldn't DARE tell him yet he's straight he's straight he's straight"

This led to Thomas slipping up when he was half asleep and saying he would "date anyone with Minho qualities" (not MINHO'S QUALITIES. Minho qualities.)

Minho didn't know what to make of that until he sudden realized- 'OMG HE'S into you idiot, he wants YOU'

So Minho confessed and was like "Uhm I love in a not friend way JK I don't?? Or I do. Like, if you want I'm into you...."

Then Thomas was like 'oh OK I like you too'

I know. Amazing storyline. (It sincerely is not)

When I was a kid my family pretended to get raptured so I would think I was left behind on earth while they all went to heaven.

I was like 8 years old and my sister and mom had gotten really into the Left Behind novels (bible fan fic about the rapture). In the books when the rapture happened the clothes that people were wearing when they got raptured were left behind in neatly folded piles.

One day when I was getting home from school my family decided that they would leave piles of neatly folded clothes around the house, and then hide in the basement.

The intended effect was that I would get home and see the clothes then, think that my family had been raptured and that I wasn’t good enough to get into heaven… or something?

The problem was that I had never read these books, and didn’t really think about the rapture very often. There was no reason that I would see some laundry on the floor and think “The rapture happened and I’ve been abandoned by God! I’ll never see my family again!! Oh nooo!!!!”

I just sat down and watched cartoons and eventually my family got bored and revealed that they were all hiding in the basement.

It’s a good thing I didn’t understand the joke, otherwise that shit would have been traumatic.
