thinking about doing a month-long event for the homestuck tumblr community to encourage people to make + post fanworks as well as reblog other people's fanworks.... where people can opt-in by being randomly assigned one of two teams (probably red and blue) so that each team has roughly the same amount of members. teams get points for making fanworks and having their posts reblogged, which encourages people to make posts and also reblog the posts made by their team members. and the top 3 people in each team to get the most points get some kind of reward... hmmmm

#if you have thoughts please let me know!!!#just trying to think of ways to encourage sharing fanworks and getting feedback through friendly competition #sort of like artfight but not the same attacking/revenge format. just the same basic idea in mind of encouraging this kind of creativity #for the reblogging to get points i don't think duplicate reblogs would count. to limit spam #but you can reblog multiple times... it just won't get you more points #i don't want it to be too complicated though #i also don't want it to end up limiting reblogs since the other team wouldn't want to reblog...................#this is like very very loose brainstorming here #i'm leaning toward this concept because it encourages people to engage with posts they might normally skip over #like if you don't really care about PM. but if someone posts their PM fanart you might reblog it anyways because they're on your team!#homestuck

spy whumpee is discovered, and the enraged and betrayed people they were spying on take all their anger out on them, beating them bloody until they're practically holding onto life by a thread, then tossing them in a cell and leaving them for interrogation, if they don't die from their injuries first.

whumpee's squad back home begins to get concerned after whumpee doesn't give them their daily update. they send whumpee a message of their own... and get nothing back.

concern turning to genuine worry and fear for their friend, leader sends caretaker and two other teammates to go find whumpee, and bring them back if needed.

when whumpee wakes up again, they're laying in a military hospital. they feel like they've been run over by a semi-truck, but they turn their head to see their hand intertwined with caretaker's, who had fallen asleep in a chair at their side, and the deepest relief they've ever felt washes over them as they realize they're safe.

Last year, Mitch Marner was literally leading the LEAGUE in Playoff points after the 1st round and people were still like 'who cares, he never shows up when it matters' (because that series didn't matter, I guess?), and now this year he hasn't scored yet and people are mad at him and saying he's useless so like...it doesn't actually matter how he performs. He could score a hatty while standing on his head and people would still complain that he only scored 3 goals so what's the point? I don't blame Mitch at all for saying he doesn't listen to outside voices. The outside voices are shit.

Kenny's in-universe popularity seems to fluctuate depending on what kind of plot the writers wants to do. In one episode he'll be labeled as a quiet loner, the next he's able to befriend dozens of people in one day. Which do you subscribe to?

With Kenny I feel and like to go with something more in the middle. Like it's true he's shown to have a small circle of true close friends and has a tendency to do things on his own. Sometimes he even breaks away from his closer friends to do something else? (though that's usually more M&T having no idea where to use him in whatever plot they have. ) And of course Mysterion is when he acts the most as a loner, whether that's his true nature or if he's playing along with his hero identity I can't say. But he does seem to have a charismatic nature about him sometimes? Like not in a way that he's talkative or anything, he's usually a very quiet to himself kind of person, but there are canon instances such as the end of "The Poor Kid" where everyone in the school is clapping and cheering that he's back. And Butters in "Going Native" outright admitted seeing something in Kenny that made him respect him the most out of everyone else in the school. And TFBW there's Call Girl/Wendy telling Mysterion he's a beast(no joke I love that line. XD), and even Henrietta is complimenting his darkness throughout the Casa Bonita DLC. And not to mention none of the girls seem to mind Kenny trying to join their trick or treating group in "The Scoots"? So I 'd like to think even though he's mostly very quiet (unless he has something he needs to say) and to himself by nature people are still drawn to him? And feel at least most people in his school to some degree enjoy his company/presence even if he's just quietly sitting next to them doing his own thing.

every time there's a problem, the three of them, in unison, offer "grenade launcher" as a solution (bc lbr even though dean's the one who was super gung-ho abt it sam was also very interested in that one ep and cas would obv go along with it bc he's cas)

the winchesters get roped into working at the institute and cas is js always around and jonah tries to tell them that it's "unprofessional" and "inappropriate" to have someone who's not an employee hanging around like that and they're both just like "tf you gonna do bitch? fire us?" with sam giving jonah such an intense bitchface that it physically hurts him

also the idea of daisy trying to interrogate/intimidate the fuckers who've died multiple times, been wanted for mass murder that they didn't commit, and fistfought god is js unreasonably funny to me
