you found yourself always wondering; “am i good enough for him?”, “do i deserve him?”. comments had been lashed out earlier this evening to darken those already eerie thoughts that you fought so hard to not reside with. a long, long stay.

jack came into the room, that was the man that’s ‘in love with you’. those thoughts slashed at your mind little cuts kept wracking your head. the trance you were in was broken by your lovers lips lovingly placed onto your head, and you felt the couch slightly dip when he sat down beside you. his arm snaked around your shoulders and pulled you close to him, your head lying on his shoulder.

no one questioned if he did enough in this relationship. no one made snarky comments on how he was so quiet, how he looked like he never put enough effort into how he showed his love, but they did to you. and it was torture trying to hit those thoughts out of your brain. every single one of those comments lingered for longer and longer each time someone made another.

“what’s wrong?”

his soft voice lingered in the room as he ran his calloused hands up and down your arm. the television was playing in the background, an old re-run of big bang theory, muted, but with subtitles.

“jack, it’s just,” you started, why couldn’t you form words. a pang in your heart stung against your chest. “i don’t deserve you.” you whispered, he froze, eyes straying from the tv and to your slumped form against him.

“what makes you think that?” he murmured, his blue eyes connected with your glossy (e/c) ones.

“i- im not good enough-“ you were cut off by a sweet kiss to the lips. “don’t talk like that. i don’t care if your quiet, i don’t care what people say about our relationship, (y/n)!” he exclaimed. “people don’t know you, and how lucky i am to actually know and to be with you. i thank anyone in the skies above that they let me hold your hands. you are everything, my universe, my world. don’t let people tear into you.”

he rubbed his hands up and down your spine as you sobbed painfully into his chest, dampening his shirt.

the thoughts were still there, but at least you had someone to guide you along this long and winding road.

“i love you.”

First of all, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a huge spectrum of people who have a wide range of symptoms and severity. This can involve social interactions and communication.

Note that I am not an expert on these things, so no offense on anybody who has this disorder.

Socially awkward MC:

Once again, Karma is VERY flexible on who he loves - especially you! And since you're so shy and timid, it gives him more time to cuddle you, kiss you, and just admire you! (and saves time from kidnapping you) He'll especially tease you for everything and baby you up, just to see you more flustered and embarrassed (that is, if you're comfortable). Overall, Karma will be a lot more protective and weak to your cuteness! Lots of fluff moments will be made here!

MC: K-Karma...

Karma: Mm? *holding a huge cup of hot chocolate*

MC: Can I get...one too...? *points to his cup*

Karma: You want chocolate? With marshmallows? Topped with sprinkles?? I'm on it, Xaxi! <333

Socially awkward + autistic MC:

First of all, Karma would first ensure what your boundaries are e.g. your love language, personal space, etc. Then he'll go from there to ensure you're super duper loved and comfortable! In this case, he won't tease you and baby you as much - since he doesn't want you to see him as patronizing. In fact, Karma wants to let you know he loves you and spoils you because you're his partner. You're his #1 Valentine. You're special because of who you are.

MC: *in bed with Karma, tugging at his shirt*

Karma: Oh hey Xaxi...you okay? You good? *is immediately awake (totally wasn't watching MC)*

MC: *just snuggles into him more, upset mumbles*

Karma: Mmm...well I'm here, Xaxi...always. Forever and a day. So relax...I'm not going anywhere. I love you too much to leave you alone.

I'm feeling embarrassed that I'm finally getting around to the older requests that have been sitting in my inbox for weeks (￣￣|||) I'm not purposely ignoring anyone though. I'm hoping the first couple of months have gone okay for you anon! Thank you for waiting if you see this <3 Buer does need a lot more love, especially since seeing his original design with the outfit he's supposed to have worn he looks so dashing. Here's a nice fluffy short fic of him and his s/o ^^

It's a quiet evening in Paradise Lost, no angel attacks, all of the devil's that needed to get something looked at or healed have gone home. Marbas and Morax send off their comrade with simple goodbyes, although Marbas does tease him about who he's going home to.

"Is she still too shy to come meet us?" Marbas asks as he slips off his straightjacket to hang on the random rack in Morax's office. Buer raises his brow and crosses his arms. "Why would she need to meet you right now? I just got permission to have her stay with me for the time being from our Majesty." "Don't mind Marbas, he's just curious. Your s/o, she's human?"

"Yes. Is there something wrong with that?" Morax shakes his head. "Not necessarily. Just be sure to keep an eye on her and let me know if she needs any specific medicine or ointments."

"Thank you, I'll be going now". As Buer turns he bumps into a smaller individual that was standing behind him. With surprise he excuses himself until he sees who it is that's standing behind him.

His s/o gasps, covering her face with her hair in embarrassment from not saying anything sooner. Buer bends down to her level to check if she's okay, while stroking the top of her hair lightly.

"Sweetheart? Is everything okay? I didn't see you there."

She nods, still hiding behind her tresses and even beginning to pull up her shirt. Buer laughs quietly and hugs her tightly to help soothe her in the moment. When he pulls back to kiss her nose, she almost smiles until her eyes go wide and she hides again.

"Oh, so this is her." Marbas stands above the two, pants falling down and Morax sighing as he tries to hold them up.

Buer stands up, also picking up his lover in both arms bridal style and pressing her head on his chest.

"Don't scare her. It took a lot for her to come and see me."

"Not trying to. But she should be more careful. A human that isn't Solomon's descendant wandering around could be dangerous."

"I'm fine." Buer's s/o speaks, her voice small but clear even when muffled between her lover's chest. She was shy sure, but tired of being told to "be careful" constantly. Even on Earth.

"See?" Buer defends her further, stroking the back of her head. "She's fine. We'll go home now." "See ya tomorrow Buer, and uh whoever you are...Buer's lover I guess." Marbas shrugs but Morax pushes his shoulders in the opposite direction to hurry him out of the hallway to another area of the palace. Buer huffs and smiles and looks down at his s/o, seeing her face now uncovered from her hair now that the other devil's left the area. "No one bothered you on the way here?" She shakes her head.

"That's a relief. Text me next time you're heading this way okay?" "I wanted to surprise you..."

She blushes, hiding her face again until Buer pushes her hair away and places his lips on hers, a kiss which then lasts more than a few seconds once he realizes how much he'd been waiting to kiss her all day. When he breaks his embrace, her cheeks are flushed even more and she uses both hands now to cover her face as her lover hums softly. "I appreciate the surprise, my dear. The fact that you came here makes me happy. But I want you to be safe too." She nods and presses her face back into his chest, holding onto his clothing as he kisses the top of her head and walks in the direction of his dwelling.

So like one thing I'm afraid of is for when the musical comes out and we (hopefully) get new fans, is fanon!Johnny. Like Johnny often infantilized in fanon which is annoying as fuck and I despise it, but a trend I see with these type of characters like that is that all of the sudden the fandom will be like 'omg why is this character being to woobified' which is good, but then they'll take it to the next extreme. Like in the ST, Will Byers is the sweet and sensitive character (he's also canonically gay) but in order not to fall into the 'feminine gay' stereotype, a lot of the fandom would make him hypermasculine (emphasis on him being muscular and broad, make him more sarcastic and done with everyone's bullshit, making him over-competent) which completely changes his character. Like seriously there's got to be some nuance here. Some middle ground maybe?

Me every time I watch or read a rendition of a character and the OP has flown with the idea that "this character's lapse in judgement is actually a defining characteristic for their future interactions and defines them rather than being a poor decision the character made"
