I started notice Bee's personality change into angsty teen since tfWFCNetflix and Earthspark. Seriously,I want my happy kiddo and understanding Bee back like G1 Bee's personality 🥲
Hey, sorry I didn't answered immediately, I wanted to watch the show and digest what I've seen to give you my thoughts)
Spoilers for Earthspark under the cut!~
Personally, after watching the show I don't read TFE Bumblebee as angsty teenager, even tho some ppl gave this description of him to me. I guess could be a thing if you only read him on the very surface level in the episode 3 when we get the first look at him.
This is a bit of combination of others Bumblebee's from previous continuities, but if I'm reading stuff correctly, I think there is the G1 Bumblebee lies at his core.
What we see a young adult that has some lever of maturity, but still has a growing to do. He's the youngest among legacy bots, which mean he probably was born into the war. Plus, he was in hiding since the war ended, and the end of EP 3 gave me ab impression we was isolated and alone for decades.
So he lacks some social soft skill (we can see how he struggles to connect with Terrans at the beginning), which he is slowly gaining as we keep watching the show.
Another thing I read like G1 Bee, he struggles with sense of belonging and the fear of failure. This is why he tries to hype himself up at times and wanting to go back to be a hero. This makes him feel important, and if he's important ppl will accept him, and that mean they won't, leave him behind. Team means family to him.
And this is why he's afraid to fail, this is why he laments about how he can't bear hearing about how great he is when he in the middle failing everything. The last word is important, it shows what he thinks that failure will bring. He afraid to lose what he has.
The very moment Dot empathizes with him ( she's a mom so she understands children are hard) and believes in him, it becomes a turning point for him.
Bumblebee sees that failure doesn't mean the end of the world here, that he can just try different approach, different tactic when previous didn't work and he wont be punished.
With Maltos he has nothing to fear, nothing to prove and he can be just himself. And we see his attitude changes. He grows into the family fast that he stops trying to brute force the mission so he could rejoin Autobots. He starts caring about them and we know he will protect them with his life.
Another thing he definitely afraid to show vulnerability in front of people, that why he usually to goes with his "cool" persona or tries to hide it. We can see clearly in EP7 when he didn't know how help starving Terrans. He's upset, scared, and even sorrowful in the moment when Mo asks him if they gonna be okay. He doesn't even look at the kids, he doesn't show his face to them.
Then when Terrans are rejuvenated, he looks liked he's about to cry and runs to hug them tight (so tight that the metal creaks) that how relieved he was. Ofc he lets go quickly and tries to play it cool, but the first step been made! I hope in future episodes we will see him opening up more and allowing himself to be vulnerable ( and have hugs lasting longer) as he realizes more and more that with Maltos he has nothing to fear.
Btw, he is growing to be more understanding I love those moment in the show like:
He comforts Twitch in so she could calm down and transform. He holds hands with kids so Thrash could transform.
He stops teaching Terrans if they too unfocused or tired or distracted. And even bring them to school so their could see that Mo and Robby are okay despite the vortex of emotions they are feeling.
He connects with Alex thought the tradition and happily participates in it.
He comforts Alex who tearing up upon thinking about losing Dot by playing the song that is important for them.
He offhandedly mentions that kids missed the pool party to look for Terrans, so they would talk about their feelings.
Is he that understanding with anyone? No, and I can't blame him tbh ahaha. But he cares ( or even dare I say, loves) his new family and he wont even care about Emberstone being lost as long they are alive and well.
I'm excited to see more and where this writing is going!
---
Wow that a long post ahaha! I guess it is expected to happen when people ask me about my favorite character of all time! :D
Bumblebee is special to me, and I'm finally happy to see a version of him in canon that I find satisfying~

good evening and welcome to K's drunk rambles!
So I was re-watching 5x01 and I got to the part where the firefam is discussing Eddie going to Ana's christening, and then there was that little Godfather snippet:
Buck: it's like the opening scene of the godfather
Bobby: pretty sure that was the last scene
and it probably doesn't mean anything but 1) for some reason that bit of dialogue has always picked at my brain, and we're rounding out the "last scene" of this season so I'm *eyes emoji* 2) I love The Godfather and 3) I'm drunk and nobody can stop me lololol
Have some unhinged less than sober rambles (sorry if people have already discussed this):
If you're unfamiliar with The Godfather, the basis of that dialogue exchange bw Buck and Bobby is that there's a christening scene that happens at the end of the movie, and the opening scene of the movie is actually a wedding backdropping the very interesting conversation happening between Don Corleone and the dude who comes to him to ask for justice for his daughter. So interesting how Buck mixes this up and they spend screen time for the audience to hear it.
(BTW this analysis is going to be Eddie-centric so buckle up.)
SPOILERS FOR THE GODFATHER BELOW:
I'm not talking direct translation here because 9-1-1 is, well, 9-1-1 and The Godfather is a fucking crimeboss movie, but the driving theme through both pieces of media is family: what you do for family, what family means, what you can run from and what you cannot ultimately escape . Extremely Eddie-coded language for him this season.
For the sake of this not being a drunkard's monologue, let's focus on the parallels between Eddie and Michael Corleone, who for all that is relevant to understanding this post is the son of the crimeboss (Don Corleone) and doesn't want to inherit his "family business." He also doesn't want to be anything like his father. he wants the stereotypical American Dream with a wife and kids and is dead set on achieving this (again WHO does this sound like pre-breakdown era???)
Also Vito Corleone (Michael's father and who I am paralleling to Ramon here) ultimately dies FROM A HEART ATTACK WHILE PLAYING WITH HIS GRANDSON LIKE WHAT??? and Michael, doomed from the start, inevitably steps into the role of Don.
By the end of the movie (marked by a particularly brutal last montage of murders juxtaposed with the baptism of Michael's nephew), Michael has left his hopes for normalcy behind and taken up the mantle of his family business after committing a regrettable and violent act meant to give him clean state to start from a place of higher power, in order to obtain legitimacy and try to "do things differently."
Throughout the trilogy of movies Michael is in this tragic tug-of-war of trying to achieve legitimacy and always being sucked back into his family's problems, with his previous "American Dream" in tatters all around him. And ultimately he ends up the subject of an American tragedy, alone and miserable, grieving the life he wanted given up for the life thrust upon him in the shadow of his family.
I've meandered and I don't think I actually have a legitimate point other than this was fun to write and Eddie going back to Texas to "reconcile" with his father + the possibility of something happening to his father is very interesting in the sense of Eddie trying to break away form his family vs. maybe feeling indebted to carrying his father's legacy despite his previous unwillingness, should something happen to his father.
There's just a lot about family and expectations and the failed American Dream that has Eddie written all over it, especially considering Eddie's possible upcoming story arc.
But I think Eddie, unlike Michael, will be able to break that cycle, reconcile with his father, and step away from his family's drama.
If you made it this long, you rock. I'd share a drink with you but I don't have any left lmao.

AIAJAHGNJRHTHJGJFHHR *tears out hair* I NEED TO TALK ABOUT MY OCS AND THE THEORETICAL FIC SERIES I WOULD MAKE FOR THEM OR IM GONNA EXPLODE. btw this probably wont make sense unless you already know a bit about them. sowwy (is not sorry at all)
(Unordinary spoilers under the cut)
Sinners' Legacy
The name of the AU, referring to everything that's a part of it (characters, worldbuilding, headcanons, etc.) This would be what I'd call the series on AO3, where I would put oneshots as well as the main stories.
Take a Good Look, This is Me
Follows Aria and her friends as they inevitably get dragged into the problems of the main cast. Specifically, Ral joins John's self-defense class. Aria hears about his skills through them; she ends up asking him to analyze her ability, and they build a friendship from there.
Vi also meets Isen... somehow. Possibly online, with neither of them realizing they go to the same school. I just really want the rat bastard and the anarchist hacker to become friends, okay?
Way Past Saving
This one is more plot-heavy, compared to TGLTM. Or, well, it starts out that way, but TGLTM catches up eventually. Jude is trying to track down the other branches of the family, hoping to get a better picture of his history. First he goes to Cameron, who is extremely unhelpful. Then he uncovers something about Jane. Finally, a lead! The more he follows the trail, the more danger he's in—but then, he's no stranger to being hunted.
Since his goal involves NXGen, and by extension EMBER and our vigilante friends, he would most definitely come into contact with some of the main unO characters.
Unnamed third fic
As you can tell, this one isn't nearly as fleshed out as the other two. I know it would essentially "merge" WPS and TGLTM; both of those fics are set at roughly the same time, and eventually, their storylines would end up colliding. Especially with the direction that unOrdinary is taking at the moment. :)

Just watched Lupin the 3rd: The First
Gonna list my thots- spoilers btw
If for some reason you haven't seen any of the lupin movies, please do so. I watch lupin on a totally legal site that you can ask me about in the comments if you are so inclined. This is just ramblings from a fan riding the high of a good movie. Dont take me seriously.
Wanted to say this at the top: The ending dedication was so sweet. Rest in power Monkey Punch, your legacy will live in fans/simps like me- sorry in advance.
Lupin taking on the 3rd dimension is just- god its gorgeous. I watched it dubbed tho so the lip flaps were jank as hell. But overall- fucking beautiful
Is detective Zenengatta into redheads? If not- this movie supports my HC that he does.
Jigen is so fucking hot in 3d HOLY SHIT YALL. Jigen ships yall are eating GOOD
Goemon, babeygurl, I like you better in 2D. Not saying that 3D isn't your style, but you wear 2D better.
With that being said, I'm proud of him for being away from his emotional support item. BB V proud.
"Fujiko Mine" BARK!! BARK BARK BARK BARK!
RUFF RUFF RUFF !!! RUFF RUFF RUFF!! RUFF RUFF RUFF RUFF !!
BARK BARK
BARK BARK BARK!!!!
Ahem
She slays
Her outfits are giving e v e r y t h i n g
LUPIIIIIINNNNN- Slays. As always. Your giving king and I love u
Okay so, Lupin it girl standard was filled. Honestly- didn't like her. I don't usually like the token Lupin it girls anyways because they don't do shit other than yell for Lupin. Which is fine yknow. Sometimes you can't do shit. BUT GOD DAMN GURLIE. PULL THE TRIGGER PIGLETT. THROW A ROCK. PUNCH A BITCH. D O S O M E T H I N G
Also, for this bitch in particular, WE GET IT. YOUR DREAM IS YOUR PERSONALITY TRAIT.
anyways
I like her and lupin's dynamic if it means anything. They'd be great friends. Only friends tho. Lupin is married to the grind first, Fujiko second (if and when shes ready), and the bros third. Then the plot-relevant hoes.

Hi my very dear and lovely friend @cherubimeyes asked me to answer every single question to the Layton meme, yes all 40 of them, so umm, basically, I die. (yes i'm tagging you because look look look look look l-) Putting under a read more because, you know.
Oh and uh, obvious spoilers for like, every game
1) Who is your favourite character?
Luke, it's Luke, always has been always will be, he's just a boy and I love him so so so so so so so much. He's just so silly he makes me so happy anytime I see him, he’s literally just a 13 year old boy and he’s my son :')
2) What’s your favourite game?
Hate this question, hate it because there's things about every PL game that are my favourite and I genuinely love every entry in the series. Though if you made me pick, it'd say either Lost Future or Spectre's Call, I can't choose between those two at all so you have to take that as my answer hehe.
3) What’s your favourite soundtrack?
Lost future hands DOOOWN, they went so hard on the OST for this one like it's insane, like so many of the songs on that soundtrack are so memorable and they stand out so well I jUST AAAA.
Plus the main theme makes me cry every time I hear it is so good. I love all the Layton main themes tbh they always fuck so hard lol but Lost Futures one is just the best to me its so all over the place but in such a good way.
4) What’s your favourite puzzle?
Ummmmmm I can't remember tbh, even more of an excuse to go play every layton game again lol. I do like sliding/jigsaw puzzles so anything along those lines would be one of my favourites!
The Alchemist Lab from MM’s and AL’s daily puzzles are a big favourite of mine!
5) What’s your favourite setting? (Misthallery, Monte d’Or, etc…)
I really fucking love Misthallery, like just the vibe for it is so good to me, mainly because it really does come off like a weird English town that's you'd just stumbled upon while exploring. Plus it's so….Misty..
6) What outfit of Luke’s is your favourite?
Gonna go with the OG trilogy on this one, sorry I just think his jumper is cute, I do love his other outfits though they're such a look. So hyped to see what his new outfit is going to be but I already love it!!!
7) What’s your favourite cutscene?
Maaaaaaaan there’s so many that stand out it’s hard for me to pick one!!! Any scene with Claire, all the fight scenes, the ferris wheel scene, the one where Luke gets fucking kidnapped and just screams for like a whole minute, any scene with Randal, the little cutscene where Arouras getting her new outfits (why was she Irish btw?), the ending to PL vs AA. They’re all so good to me and I love them all so much, insane.
8 ) What’s your favourite end credits song?
Azran Legacy's, I know AL isn't everyone's favourite because of how the story is but come oONNN THE END CREDIT SONG IS SUCH A GUT PUNCH, especially with the original Japanese lyrics to it!!! Genuinely sad they never dubbed over the end credit songs with lyrics because holy shit all the songs hit different with vocals added, I love you saxophone but you will never be a vocalist.
9) What’s your favourite minigame?
The tea mini game, I love giving those two the most rancid tea possible and watching them cry over it. I am really just a 5 year old making "potions" for people to consume and get sick from. Over favourite is the hotel mini game, I always feel super bad if i can’t get them both a bed before their first night at St Mystere but I love hearing them bitch and complain about their room layouts so much, Luke gets two beds just as a treat. :)
10) What’s your favourite animal/pet? (The bunny from MM, the parrot from UF, etc, etc.)
I love the bunny minigame but honestly the parrot, for the sole reason that you can name it My Dick and have Clive say "just sit back, and watch My Dick work its magic", like that is never not funny and if you say otherwise you're lying.
11) Do you have a favourite quote? If yes, what is it?
“Isn’t that odd, I find that odd! Doland, do you find that odd?” - Professor Layton
It is, in fact, odd.
12) If you could have a spinoff game about one character, who would you choose and what would the game be about?
Still holding out for that Luke solo American game, or just any Luke solo game, I know there was a mini one for Pandora's Box but I want a full game, send him out into the world to solve mysteries please he’ll love it.
I’ll also take an Flora, Emmy, or even Randal solo game, though I have no fuckin idea what kind of game. You think I could get a Randal farming simulator game??? Please???
13) If you could meet any character’s voice actor and have them say something to you as their character, who would you choose and what would you have them say?
I really wanna meet Luke's UK voice actor and ask her to say "Professor, have you heard of the hit new game Among us? Pretty Sus innit", I don't care how much money I have to pay for it, no price is high enough.
14) If you could punch one character in the face, who would it be?
Bill Hawks, I hate the government and I still want that bitch dead.
15) Would you change how any of the games are executed? If yes, what would you change?
The only one I'd change would be Azran Legacy, all I’d really do is just make the story more fixed/linier instead of giving the choice to the player, I just found it made the game feel a lot shorter than it is.
16) Did you enjoy PL-vs-PW?
YES YES YES I FUCKING DID SO MUCH, Mainly because this game gave me Darklaw and I don't talk about her nearly as much as I should, she takes up so much space in my brain.
I do suck at court cases so the ace Attorney parts were a bit challenging but other than that, it's a good game and I love it a lot teehee
17) Do you have any headcanons? If yes, what?
I do not, aside from like small things that I really can’t think of off the top of my head I got nothing, I’m sure if you sat me down and asked me to think hard enough i’d come up with one but my mind goes blank when i’m put on the spot lol
18) Did you cry at any games? If yes, what ones)
Yes, all of them, every single one, there is no exception. PL games just hit me in the emotions too much and make me so and cry and throw up everywhere.
19) Do you prefer the 2D art or the 3D art?
Gotta say 2D, no hate to the 3D style because I do actually like it, but not everyone translates well over to 3D, especially with how most of the Layton characters look.
That being said, hopefully they’ve improved a lot for the new game, but man I do think the push to make every game 3D is… not a good one lol.
20) How many times have you played your favourite game?
Ohhhhhh man idk, I replay the whole series like every year or so but it's been a while so I don't remember. Definitely more than once, I think I replayed Lost Future as soon as I completed it the first time because there’s something wrong with me.
21) Do you cosplay any characters? If yes, who? If no, would you like to? Who would you choose?
I used to cosplay as Luke a lot back when I was younger, haven't done it since because you know, I got other things to cosplay, but I could probably pull off his look a lot better now than I did then, my hairs actually short now. I would need to but everything again because despite not growing since I was 10, I have outgrown his old costume, still got the hat somewhere though hah!
22) Do you have any merchandise? If yes, what? If no, would you like any? What would you get?
I don’t have a lot but that’s just from me not going out to get it! I have the Eternal Diva Luke plush who’s one of my oldest plushes and I love him so much!!! Other than that, I have the Fangamer Curious Village t-shit which I wear whenever it’s clean, and I have a bunch of fan merch too! I just try and pick up PL stuff whenever I can but I definitely want to get into collecting more of it!
23) Has the series had an impact on your life?
Um??? Yes??? You think playing a video game at the age of 11 wouldn't??? This game has impacted me in ways I can't describe and helped spark my love for art and storytelling and creativity, so without it I wouldn't be nearly half the person I am today, it's hard for me to articulate exactly how, but trust me it has and I am so grateful for it.
24) When did you first discover the series?
I got Lost Future advertised to me in 2010, I don’t think i’d heard of the game series before, I wasn’t as chronically online as I am now so back then TV ads really did work on me lmao
25) How old were you when you first discovered the series?
I was about 11 or so, you know, a crucial age to have media influence your entire life.
26) How did you discover the series?
Again, it got advertised to me, so I asked to get Lost Future for christmas and my life has been a downward spiral ever since lmao
27) Will you play Layton 7?
Oh man you can tell this meme is old lmao
I can't even remember what Layton 7 was originally going to be??? Like I know it ended up being Kat's game but I know it was planned to be something before that, but I seriously can't remember what it was. But umm yes I will play layton 7, I'm one of those annoying fans that will play anything in a series regardless of its quality.
28) Do you have any ideas that could easily be future games?
I can’t think, they’re literally making a new one and I have no idea what it could be at this point, so they can throw whatever they want at me at this point and i’ll take it.
29) Did you enjoy Mystery Room?
Honestly, I never played it. I know I should and I probably will at one point, but I didn't have a smartphone when it was released so I kinda missed out on the hype for it unfortunately, again I might play it now but yea we’ll see, Alfred is a whole mood dhdjbwhd
30) If you could tell one character something, who would it be and what would you say?
I’d say to Clive that he had the right idea but a giant mobile fortress wasn’t the brightest idea, if he had the money to build a giant robot toy, he could’ve just exploded parliament instead. Think smarter Clive, also have fun rotting in prison, hope you stay there.
31) Did you enjoy Eternal Diva?
I LOVE ETERNAL DIVA SO MUCH!!! It’s such a Layton movie, like it's the perfect video game movie to me!!! it's just, so Layton. Everyone I've ever met has been subjected to this movie at some point in their life, it’s like important research in order to understand what’s up with me. If I'm friends with someone who hasn’t seen it yet, don’t worry, you soon will.
32) What was the saddest moment/s in the games for you?
Literally all the endings??? That’s why I keep crying like a bitch over all of them.
Though Luke leaving to go to America will never not make me cry, like just the whole set up for it as well as the end cutscene just, god that sucks so much wAA. Also any mention from Luke about his family makes me sad too, like both in Specters Call and PL vs AA, I don’t know why I just find it sad, boy deserves so much better than what happened to him in Specters Call like come OOON, Weird kids deserve so much love.
Oh also, the reunion scene in PL vs AA wasn’t sad but it still made me cry, so mad it never got turned into a cutscene.
33) Have you met people as a result of playing the games?
YES! MANY! A good chunk of my early online friends were from our shared interest in Layton! Even today I will happily bond with someone over this game and I am always happy to introduce people to it, it’s just such an amazing series that I really can’t praise enough. Hey you, dear mutual, if you’re reading this and you’re a Layton fan and you’ve never talked to me, you’re already my friend now because you have amazing taste in video games.
34) Do you want more games or do you think the series has run its course and is fine as it is?
OK SO, I ANSWERED THIS QUESTION A WHILE AGO AND ORIGINALLY I SAID NO, BUT THAT WAS BEFORE FEBRUARY 8TH 2023. I am bouncing off the walls and eating the furniture and kicking and screaming for a new layton game. I am so interested as to how this new one will play out but I am so HYPED for it and I’m so glad it doesn’t look to be going in the direction I was fearing it would go in if they made a new Layton game!!!
35) What Layton meme did you enjoy the most? (Clive and the snails? Desmond’s bread hair?)
Regret to inform you that I’ve been a Layton fan since 2010/11, so umm… I’m 42 years old, and uhh… baseball, if you even care. No attatchment to the source material it’s lost on me now, those quotes are just burned into my head from being 12 years old.
But I do 100% love Clive and snails, he’s so wrong by the way and I would put snails on him in a heartbeat.
36) Has a moment in the games ever scared you?
I used to be really scared at the fact that everyone in St Mystere were robots, like that just unnerved me so much, but that was 100% from me being scared of robots at the time I first played it, I’m better now but it still weirds me out a bit lol
Other than that, can’t really think of anything, anytime they all get
37) What’s the wackiest NPC you have ever seen?
All of them, LEVEL-5 just knows how to make insane looking characters that will kill you, I know a good chunk of them haven’t aged well but you know, not much I can do about that.
As for the wackiest, literally all the kids in Mistalery, there;s something so up with all of them I don't wanna go there ever.
38) Do you ship any characters? If yes, what are your ships?
Outside of any canon/canon implied ships, not really??? I never got into PL shipping it was just never for me, though I will admit that Ranlay is very fucking good and I appreciate it a lot. But yea I’m kinda more interested in all the found family stuff that goes on in PL games more than anything else!
39) Are you going to buy this art book when it comes out in November?
The original post for this meme is deleted so I can’t even check when this meme was posted. But umm, no I guess, if they do a new artbook for the new game then yes I will get it, no questions asked
40) Can you play any of the soundtracks on a musical instrument? If yes, what instrument and what soundtrack(s)? If no, would you like to learn? What ones would you like to be able to play?
I cannot play an instrument because I spent all my time learning how to sing instead, and I can’t even sing any of the layton songs because they’re all in Japanese and I don’t KNOW Japanese. Maybe if I ever learn one day then yea i’ll learn to play the ending credits.

Grace
I watched "Knives Out" last night and got me thinking that legacy / inheritance doesn't always given to the bloodlines, but could be given to other people who deserves the most. (sorry for the spoiler for those who haven't watched the movie- it's a great detective movie btw) I'd like to share the relatable to the bible verse from the movie and the old sermon I just watched from Ps. Philip Mantofa about faith. Video Ref: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhXYiyWW-Yg (the sermon is in Bahasa Indonesia, you may switch on the auto translation in English from YouTube) Proverbs 29: 21 A wise servant will rule over a son who causes shame: It is natural that a son should rule; the trust one has in family is often greater than the trust one has in servants. Yet, should a son cause shame, God knows how to replace that son with a wise servant. Proverbs 29:21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length. Whoever pampers his servant from childhood will in the end find him his heir.
Galatians 4:1-7 ...Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. comment: Claim the privilege of children from God's kingdom, we are no longer slave mentality to the law, believers are the bloodline heir of the Kingdom. We all fall from grace and we don't earn grace, but grace is freely given to us and through grace we can receive God's blessings. All we have to do is to have faith in God and accept God's grace with an open heart. Learn to surrender to God and rely on God's strength rather than our own strength that quickly fading.
Mat 20: 1-16 Life is not fair, but the good news is God is fair, just not in your standard. God's standard are different from world's standard. 1 Samuel 16:14-23 The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard
... But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you.
Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
comment: The morning worker 9am-5am (work more) The evening worker who work for an hour from 5-6pm (work less) Both receives the same amount of money from the long hours or short hours. The morning workers felt how unfair they work for longer hours and received the same money with the one who work in shorter hours. What they fail to see is: they forgot the blessing of job whereas they were unemployed and now they got a job, it's better than they do nothing and perhaps can cause a crime or else. Moreover, if they workers prove they can work hard, later on they might get a chance to be hired permanently. But if we always think of the profit and loss, we might fail to see God's blessing that is given to us though it may seems unfair to our standard. But God has a great plan for all of us. All we have to do is to listen and obey him, God's way are beyond our imagination, surely he will give us the best according to our faith. 1 Samuel 16: 14-23 The LORD's spirit left Saul, and an evil spirit sent by the LORD tormented him. comment: Other examples will be the story of Saul the chosen one that got replaced by David who is more obedient and have a right heart. When the God's spirit depart from Saul, that's when the evil spirit consumed him and Saul's life failed apart. The key success of King David was his obedient to God and do what is right in the Lord's sight. Though David had committed adultery, he repented and bore the consequences. He also had a a chance to kill King Saul twice but he didn't do it because He was honouring God. In conclusion, if we have fall into sin, quickly get up and repented, don't take God's grace for granted. Live righteously and don't let God's spirit left you. Stay close proximity to God and listen to His voice. Remember God's promises. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Happy Tuesday Folks !

Just ended Subnautica Below Zero and I have to vent. Sorry for the rant.
Warning. Following post contains heavy spoilers. Proceed with caution.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, I'm not even sure how to start. This is more of a comparing then anything else, really.
In the first Subnautica we have a mute hero Ryley who only expresses emotions once and that is when he punches the needle terminal. Even when hearing the last messages of his deceased crewmates (looking at you Ozzy from cafeteria, + of course Bart)
On the other hand we have Robin who is very much not mute. Even to the point where it's actually cringy at moments. Like I'm sorry but if I found out my sister is dead because trying to stop what shouldn't be done in the first place (fuck you too Alterra) I sure as hell wouldn't preach some bullshit about moving on and honouring her legacy and overall being so accepting about it.
Another thing with this. The first interaction with Al-An. I feel like the freakout about having an alien inside my head could have been better.
Sometimes I speculated what would it be like if Robin was also mute. Like imagine trying to have a conversion with Al-An in hand signs. If nothing else, it would have increased Al-Ans screentime.
Which basically brings us to secondary characters.
So in the first game we don't really have one. The Sea Emperor could be considered, but still... Which I'm actually perfectly fine with. If there is something I really aprreciate in the first game, it's the sense of loneliness, dread and the quiet unknown. Literally everybody else is dead and all you are left with are their final moments. You are completely and uterrly alone and no one is coming. Sunbeam gets shot down and even that additional bit of hope is instantly lost.
In Below Zero we have not one, but two. And for these two I played the game to the very end. I don't regret it.
I start with Marguerit Maida. Yes! Exactly as I imagined. An absolute badass who made a pet of a snowstalker. Can I just add that I absolutely love the greenhouse scene and that one log about making a greenhouse? I love her.
And of course, Al-An. He's so unbelievably endearing at every turn. And it isn't even the point. All these converations about dreams, pets or the uselessnes of human bodies. I love him.
And that's part of the problem. When you like side characters more than the main one, something isn't right.
(Btw, can I just say how the games kept the same pain sound in both games?)
Next thing, voices.
Fucking PDA in Below Zero. I swear the Unknown Worlds went and made the most uncomfortable voice ever.
Also also. Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region. Are you captain whatever you are doing is worth it? > Proceed with caution. A leviathan class creature is near.
And it goes hand to hand with the fact that PDA in Below Zero is trying to be so funny/sarcastic that it actually hurts.
I'm also a little butthurt that there isn't a special dialouge for some of the biomes. Og Subnautica had the one about leviathans to Dunes and then one to Blood Kelp or Grand Reef, I can't remember. It was something like "This biom stimulates 7 of the 9 preconditions to instill terror in humans"
Which brings me to the next point and that's the map. Subnautica map is way bigger and deeper. But also more diverse.
Like, in BZ I get that we are in arctic and there isn't gonna be a lot of it, but damn. The land section in basically only white with the exeption of the Spires which you don't really have time to enjoy thanks to a cerrain leviathan and freezing to death.
The main problem isn't even the bioms, it's the fact that for the most time, there isn't something to be done. Purple vents for lithium, deep twisting bridges caves for diamonds, Kelps for gold and silver.
And now, I enjoy colors and diversity. That's why I love the Blood Kelp, Grand Reef and The Lost River. They are blue and green but in a different way than BZ. Ironically, The best place in BZ was the Deep Lily Caves. Oranges, yellows, reds, browns. The exact opposite of the OG. Then there were the Tree Spires with Ventgardens. Breathtaking. Problem is that once you scan the Artifact and get the Sample from Ventgarden, there isn't really a reason to return there as it's quite far away. The same with Lily caves. Beatiful, but too far away and too unnecessary.
And so instead we have close empty space-West and East Arctic, Kelps with abundance of caves with strange greenwater, more green water in the Lilypad islands and white land.
Yes, I skipped Twisting Bridges, because I like them.
And sure you can argue that OG has Crashsite, Cragfield, Dunes, Mountanins and Sparse Reef. And why does it work there and not in BZ?
Creatures.
Because in Dunes, Mountains and Crashsite you have the Reapers. You have to go to Crashsite because of Aurora and Cyclops, to Dunes for a cuddlefish egg and Al-An lore and the Mountains for wreck. Then you can hapilly go and never visit them again. Same goes for Crag Field and Sparse Reef, but you don't have to go there at all.
And why it works? Because you still have a lot of other bioms. In BZ you have so very few and half of them are so boring. And why. Below Zero has exactly three dangerous creatures. One of them on land you'll never visit again and the Shadow leviathan and Chelicarate are...meh.
Shadow leviathan is cool. However placing four of them in a rather small place probably wasn't the best of ideas. The animation could have been done better, but I like it. The problem with them and the Chelicarates is that once you get the defense system, the feeling of dread completely evaporates. During the whole game I flinched exactly once to Chelicarate and that's because I didnt know there is one near Tree Spires. The first time I went to Crystal Caves I was scared. And with the Ice worm just annoyed.
And now comparing to OG. The feeling of dread was constatnt. Once I figured out where are the Reapers and Ghosts, Sea Dragons decided to introduce themselves and screwed me over. And even then, when piloting Cyclops through the Lost River and trying to evade Ghosts.
Continuing with the creatures. I get it. But BZ feels so empty. From the big creatures you only have Chelicarate, Ice worm, Shadow leviathan and the whales. Yes, penglings and pinnacarids and snowstalkers are cute af but they really aren't gonna cut it. Sea monkeys and Ventgardens and Jellyeyes neither. In Deep Purple Vents there isn't one single unique creature. And the same to Twisted Bridges Caves. Lily Caves had at least the Lily paddler, Ventgardens nothing except themselves. Crystal Caves are literally empty save for the Shadow leviathans. Would it be so hard to place there, I dunno, maybe some purple variant of Jellyray? Those glowy things in Mushroom forest and Grand Reef? Purple vents are also empty save for the occasional Chelicarate and some armored underwater dog.
Even more so, Chelicarates don't appear to be somewhat large. Not the Void ones and not the normal ones. Nothing seems actually big. Perhaps it's just my perception, because Chelicarate is supposed to be as big as a Reaper right? Well, Chelicarate is a noodle. And Reaper has a rather big jaws. Maybe that's it?
The animation is better though. Anyone noticed the Arctic peeper? Smooth and so so satisfying.
Next is music.
The only ones that somewhat stuck in my mind from BZ are the opening one - Below Zero and Cathedral. I know I liked more of them, but none other memorable.
The OG soundtrack is however absolute fire! Into the Unknown, Tropical Eden, Salutations, Red Alert, Leviathan and my forever favorite-Abandon Ship. (I actually destroyed my Cyclops so many times just to hear it. When it played for the first time, I just sat in front of my Tv with my eyes wide vibing to it as my Cyclops got crushed.
It was also a brilliant choice for the credits. That shit was fire. (Even if I then reloaded and decided to never leave 4546B and my 5 cuddlefish.) The perfect choice.
And once again, BZ is behind. I don't remember the credit music at all.
Which leads us to the Ends.
But I'll start with the pacing of the story.
So basically, first Subnautica is really long if you do everything. And somewhat all parts equal. So, for example I went ar my own slow pace. Spent some hours stocking my Cyclops to the journey to the Lava Zone. Spent hours in the Lava Zone. Spent some time with the Sea Emperor and only after all that was done, I started to built Neptune. Slow and at my command.
In BZ, I met Al-An pretty early, so he was inside my head for the most time and because I delayed the trip to the Fabricator Caves thinking it will be something like getting into the Lava Zone in OG, I heard every piece of his dialouge. I did the Sam quest (And despite being the supposed primary quest, you can actually not do it) and then I went to stock my Sea Truck. The Fabricator Caves took literally 30 minutes! And afterwards, 10 minutes to end the whole game. I could stay, like in OG but in BZ you actually want to leave with Al-An.
Which brings us to the very ends.
"What is wave without the ocean? A beginning without an end? They are different, but they go together. Now you go among the stars and I fall among the sand. We are different but we go...together.
=
"With you, I'm ready to face whatever awaits."
The ending is the OG is the one I feel really sad over. It's ending and that's it. Sadness, sorrow.
The one in BZ is the one with hope. I love how they came from "Get outta my head" and "I want my own body and btw, your body is really inferior" to "With you, I'm ready to face whatever awaits".
Both have perfect ending. It's the one thing I can't say anything bad about.
I was a little flabbergasted when there was no post credits scene, but I get it. Into the Unknown.
So yeah, I'm a little disappointed in Below Zero, but I really enjoyed talks with Al-An and Maida.
So in total.
Subnautica 10/10
Subnautica Below Zero 8/10
My respect if you have read this to the very end.

Why Wash should be the next #1 hero
This started as a joke but low-key I accidentally convinced myself so now it’s a 100% serious analysis.
Spoilers for the manga below
Tumblr media
In order to understand why Wash deserves to be the next number 1 hero, we must understand why all the other heroes on the top ten list no longer cut it.
Tumblr media
Endeavour
Where do I even start? Do we want to talk about the abuse of his children? How about the quirk marriage? Is Endeavour getting better? Sure. Is he better yet? NOPE! As of now, Endeavour’s legacy is DESTROYED. The media seem to be out for blood, so I doubt they’ll even want him as the Number 1 hero anymore. Society won’t be able to trust him; he’s been lying to them for over 20 years, and the public deserves better.
Hawks
Hawks? The man who murdered a villain despite heroes having a rule never to kill? But sure, that’s not a fair point. Some people think that that was justified, and I’m not here to talk about that. But even if you think that Hawks killing Twice was justified, Hawks is just kind of... dumb (no offence). My man put his friend in a deathlike state, looked at his body, and said, “I’ll take him to a dude who named himself Cremation. I’m pretty sure he hangs out with a doctor who turns dead bodies into Nomus. Nothing about this plan can go wrong.” Hawks took a risky move, and the public deserves someone who thinks things through a little more. (Also Hawks himself said he doesn’t want to be Number 1 so... yeah).
Best Jeanist
Best Jeanist is seriously injured. The man is missing an entire lung! He’s been through so much, and honestly deserves to rest. But also, he’s kind of dumb. Same deal as with Hawks, he was totally fine with his basically-dead-body being taken to the villains, may I reiterate one of whom was named Cremation. Seriously? How did Best Jeanist not get torched or turned into a Nomu? Oh, also his jean puns. He should be docked 50 points just for that. Wtf is “illegal denim?!?!?!”
Edgeshot
Nothing against Edgeshot, but he’s far too stoic to be Number 1. He has a high approval rating, but I doubt that those numbers will mean much as society’s views on heroes start to shift. The world needs someone who is likeable, friendly, and makes them feel safe. Edgeshot is cool, calm, and collected, but not Number 1 material.
Mirko
Mirko, the GODDESS among us mere mortals. She is an amazing fighter, but she got seriously injured and loses an arm in a fight. While this shouldn’t affect her leg-based fighting, she has still been weakened. Give her a chance to recover, she doesn’t need to pressures of being the new Number 1 right now.
Crust
He’s dead. Can’t have a dead dude as your Number 1. Sorry Crust
Kamui Woods
While seemingly a good choice upon first glance, Kamui Woods is still inexperienced. During his fight at the hideout raid, he captures the villains, but fails to take out his number one weakness (fire-user Dabi). If Grand Torino hadn’t knocked him out, Kamui Woods would have been burnt to a crisp. This failure to prioritize his weakness against fire ends up costing a major loss against Gigantomachia. Dabi is able to burn Kamui Woods out of the sky, leading to him dropping Midnight and ultimately leading to her death. Kamui Woods needs to learn how to avoid those he's weak against, or learn how to counter them, before he can be the next Number 1. He can't rely on others to take them out for him.
Yoroi Musha
This man admits that he only wanted to be a hero in order to be loved and respected, and it shows. Just as hero society is falling apart, when people need proper heroes more than ever, this man turned his back on everyone and retired. Absolutely disgraceful.
Ryukyu
An amazing hero. Out of all the heroes on this list, I’ll place her at Number 2. We see during the Overhaul Arc that Ryukyu cares for her students and also for the safety of the child they’re trying to rescue. She rescues many during Shigaraki’s massive decay attack as well, but I cannot give her first place. She is shown to be too hard on herself, and while it’s always good to be aware of your own faults, she’s a bit too critical of herself to be an effective Number 1. How is the public supposed to have faith in her if she is always second guessing herself?
Wash
Wash. My man. The Number 1 hero in my heart. Not only does Wash also save people during the decay attack, but it’s his actions after the fact that speak volumes to me.
A few days after the massive fight, people have turned against heroes. AND YET, my man Wash arrives at the scene of a fight, only to find himself too late. The people throw things at him and yell at him, giving him every reason to be angry or to leave them, but instead Wash helps get the injured people to a hospital. He puts his own feelings aside for the needs of the public, and if that’s not Number 1 Hero material, I don’t know what is.
“But! But! But! Wash is part of the problem with overly-advertised heroes!”
You’re absolutely right! But consider the fact that every hero is dependant on popularity to stay relevant. And, if I do say so myself, Wash is doing it the best. Look at his billboard below and tell me he doesn’t have the best one.
Tumblr media
Move over, Dabi, there’s a new character who owns my heart.
Wash’s advertisement is simple and gets the point across. He’s selling an actually useful product (laundry stuff), unlike some other heroes, who try selling beauty products or other frivolous things that pander to consumerism, Wash is out there trying to keep people clean and comfortable!
And consider Dabi’s words here. “The only ones these ‘heroes’ protect are themselves”. You know who didn’t just protect himself? Wash. Like I said before, Wash was out there protecting people who hated him because he’s a good person. Wash is still doing his job, even after the world has started crumbling around him, and for that he deserves to be the Number 1 Hero.
My new rankings look like this btw
Wash
Ryukyu
Edgeshot
Mirko (assuming she still wants to work)
Kamui Woods
Gang Orca
Hawks (assuming people still want him)
Mt Lady (let her on the top 10 list dammit!)
Present Mic???
Uh... idk anyone is better than Endeavour
...why the hell did I write this?

Note
hey luci not to be an ao3 note but how does homesong end
kajsd;fljkasl;dfjkaslf;asjd I had so many plans man T-T
main points under this [VERY BIG AND BLATANT SPOILER WARNING FOR THE END OF HOMESONG] which unfortunately I doubt I will ever finish T-T
Ok first off
- Kevin and Neil are half-brothers bc Kayleigh and Mary are the same person
- Riko betrays them when they go to kill Livingstone (duh) and it backfires
- Stuart makes an appearance
Basically what was gonna happen is that 1) ppl are confused bc Neil can manifest the keys--which shouldn't be possible, and then they wanna know who his mom is/ parent--and eventually he cracks and tells them Mary and Nathan, but he doesn't give last names but he doesn't need to bc when the wolves hear Nathan they go "not Nathan Wesninski??" and he's like "Are you fucking kidding me" but then they all assume he's lying bc--
ok here's the thing about Kayleigh right?? She was a super powerful witch but she had this specific like, niche?? Brand?? where she would make Wolf-hunters infertile so they couldn't pass down their legacy at all, and Nathan Wesninski was one of the first she did this too. So everyone's like "ok but you look like a carbon copy of him tho, so you have to be his kid--but the only way you're his kid is if she lifted her curse."
Which is when Neil's like "ok well, it's not a thing bc Mary died, like--two years ago, and Kayleigh's probably still alive--"
Which is when Kevin's like-- "[Very specific date that I have not managed to find in Nora's ec or have the time to come up with myself--]??" and everyoen's like "??" but Neil is like "shit wait--how did you guess that???"
But poor Kevin is losing his fucking shit, and he very losely explains that it's the day his tether with his mother snapped--aka the day he was so distraut by not understand what was happening (bc he had no idea--he was with Riko and his tether had never snapped before) that he snapped at Riko, which pissed Riko off so much that he snapped back and broke his hand.
(aye aye it comes full circle)
anyways, then Gordo decides to stick his head in Neil's head--which Neil tentatively agrees to, and they confirm that yup--Mary is Kayleigh, which makes Neil a witch which means he really should not be able to be a wolf too, but Gordo's theory is that since he didn't know about his powers, he wasn't actively using them--which means he's gonna feel some insane pain when he does use them.
And Neil's like "yeah that checks out"
but then it's time to go hunt Livingstone down, which is a whole thing but most importantly Riko drags poor Jean along, and mans is fucked up from doing two locator spells in like one week but they all go to find Livingstone except that when they do Riko has Jean knock everyone out but Jean barely has the power for it and Neil ends up fighting it off so now it's just Riko, Neil, and Livingstone and Riko's like
"hey look! I brought you all these hoes! come work for me!" and Livingstone is like "You're an idiot" AND THEN!
Stuart!
Mans shows up bc Jean used to much power it was like a fuckin beacon and they came to investigate--cuz OOP! GUESS WHO'S A VERY OLD FAMILY OF HUNTERS!?!!?
Aeeeeyyyyeee Stuuuuu
Anyways, they manage to contain Livingstone, Riko, and Neil--but he recognizes Neil--and then he's like "wait a second" and also realizes Neil's a wolf and he gets pissed--which Livingstone uses to his advantage bc he's like "hey guess what--I know how to cure that :)" and Stuart decides to risk it, so he kills Riko, fakes Neil and Livingstones deaths (aka makes it look like Neil went supersonic to kill Livingstone and save the day) and then zips them across teh border.
Queue Livingstone and Neil trying to buy time and figure out how to escape, at least until Neil actually does manage to escape and Livingstone's like "ok now you're gonna get me out too right?" and he's like "no <3" and ditches his ass.
Then he shows up on the Bennet's front lawn in time to go "I lived bitch" and pass out an dyou know what? Good for him.
Then all the foxes and the wolves team up and threaten Stuart enough that he chills out and also kills Livingstone for them.
So yeah! alkdjfl;asdjf
I think that's all the lose ends?? Riko dies very unremarkably btw, alskjdf;laksdjf Stuart just snaps his neck when he tries to interupt him it's great.
Here's my favorite snippet from the outline doc! (it happens right after Neil gets his tether--and I mean like, right after)
Anyways, Neil can’t sleep though, all he can hear is the heartbeats of everyone in the room and every little sound outside feels like his father coming after him
Eventually he just sits up, thinking about going outside but he doesn’t want to leave everyone else inside
But Andrew’s up and dragging him into the kitchen where he makes himself a mug of cocoa and gets Neil a glass of water
They chat a bit, Neil asks why Andrew was willing to lay down his life in that moment and Andrew says it was because he knew Neil wouldn’t do anything.
Neil is DUMB and obvi goes to touch the scratches on Andrew, which Andrew says no to, so Neil just drops his hand and Andrew’s like “see--right there, that’s why.”
Neil’s like “yeah but while I’m a monster it’s different you fucking pleb” and Andrew’s like “but was it? You barely scratched me.”
He takes out the key and hands it to Andrew, explaining that he can feel how it’s the only rock in the river that is Neil now, and if it goes away or gets destroyed he’ll be swept right down with the current
And then the has the auDACITY to say ‘I want you to keep it’
Andrew gets all agro and like ‘I hate you’ but Neil’s like ‘I don’t think so bitch boy--you like me’
And then they almost kiss but Kevin interrupts them with his five am alarm and Andrew tells Neil he needs to sleep and shoves him down onto the couch. He turns on the tv and sits right by Neil’s head, with his back against the couch and sitting on the floor and Neil sleeps feeling the safest he’s ever felt in his life
The next time he wakes up Andrew’s in the same spot and it’s blindingly bright outside
They all get ushered off to the Bennett house and Neil takes Carter’s advice and decides to allow Gordo to dig around inside his head
SO yeah! Homesong! asjkdf;lkjadsfl;jk sorry this is such a long winded explaination and I'm sorry I'm never goign to finish it askdjf;laskdf;ljkasdflkj I love everyone who loved it!!!!! y'all single-handedly killed me <33

heya, do you have any thoughts on Katherine Hall from aai2 for the aa meta thingie?
I absolutely have thoughts about Katherine Hall! Thoughts such as: I like her! and: Why is she French? What a neat lady.
[Btw one more heads up for AAI2 spoilers sorry]
Aw man, Katherine Hall is such a stellar side character though. Sometimes the side characters can be hit or miss for me, there’re so many that I despise, so many others that sort of stand in that neutral valley of “Oh yeah I remember them.” But Katie sticks out for a lot of reasons. Not every ‘morally gray’ character sticks the landing, but they spend enough time developing Katie in particular, her relationship with Jeff Masters, her pain at losing the only family she had and being unable to really do anything, the guilt of feeling like she made things worse.
And after you’ve spent all this time coming to learn about her circumstances and why you should care about her, you find out she did something genuinely bad. Understandable, perhaps, but bad. And unlike some other ostensibly good characters who did something horrible, building her up for in-game years really helped I think sell her character as someone you do truly care about. She gets the screen time to really allow for an arc like that. Negative character arcs, if you can call this that, can be poorly handled, but they do it in such a way as to leave her sympathetic at the end, and I enjoyed it so much.
(Also this case is so cool? Basically being two cases wrapped into one? Having layers of culpability, having multiple crimes, and everything about Miles continuing Gregory’s legacy of truth and justice. Man. Hey. Play AAI2. Or watch it. Seriously.)
Anyway, she also has such a fun design, and her music is cute. I don’t know why they made her French though. She was adopted as a baby, and children’s accents come from their peers. Did they live in France before the accent cutoff at 12? I know it’s a fan translation, but it makes me curious why that decision came about.
Also she’s a famous actress, or at least was before her arrest. I always love to speculate about the AA universe pop culture. Was she a Broadway actress? She was a singer, so it certainly would make sense. Do you think she was in movies? She of course was arrested either just before or right when the Gavinners started making it big, but was there ANY possibility of overlap? Phoenix may’ve been in art school for performing arts, according to Shu Takumi, was he a fan of Katherine’s? How many people knew who Katherine was before her arrest? John was at the museum before everything went down, did they know each other? Did they work together? Does that mean she worked with Penny or Will Powers? It’s such a silly thing to think about, but god do I love imagining stuff like that, thinking of ways to interconnect these stories and characters you wouldn’t think about at first glance.

For the simple hero asks - 7, 10, and 13 for any of your characters? ^w^
Sorry it took me a sec to get to these ones alsjdfadf but sounds good and thanks for shooting an ask back my way! :D I'm on a role talking about Kerra today (thanks for the reblog of her birthday post btw <3), so I'll talk about her and also a few other kiddos selected by the random generator!
(PoF and Icebrood spoilers below, proceed at your own risk.)
7. when are they NOT willing to put themselves at risk?
Kerra: She's a little more careful now than she used to be, which has to do both with valuing herself more (mental health improvement for the win!) and wanting to make sure she's alive to come back to her kids and the rest of her family. That being said, Kerra still most definitely takes risks. She's the Pact Commander and takes that title seriously. It manifests more in a way that most people chalk up to experience: unless absolutely necessary, she prefers small teams rather than individual missions, even if she could in theory handle them alone. I'm not quite sure that answers the question, but that's basically Kerra and risks for you, haha!
Ia: Before she's captured by the Nightmare Court, never. This child had no concept of self-preservation and would take risk after risk after risk. After, she unfortunately has a better understanding of pain, so she's slightly more cautious. This mostly shows up as her looking terrified before jumping into whatever-it-is anyways as long as she thinks she can help --so, still (at this point in time), almost never. (I don't know if you ever read the Underland Chronicles, but Ia reminds me of one of the lines from it: "Courage only counts when you can count." Turns out she has a lot either way.)
10. what victory are they proudest of?
Kerra: Balthazar. Not because it was flawless or anything (a whole LOT went wrong there, to say the least), but because she got to look the being that killed her in the eye with the basic sentiment of "You killed me, but I'm still standing, and you will never be able to keep me down because I have something to live for. I'm about to make you the god of ashes, and you will have to deal." She still most definitely has trauma from the experience of, you know, dying, but defeating Balthazar was vindicating on multiple levels. It would be Mordremoth, but honestly, she feels like she was just dragging herself through the campaign by the seat of her pants and sheer determination. She's glad he's dead, but she doesn't see herself as a hero for it, and she feels more relief than pride.
Tanza: Staying themself. Jormag was trying to convince her to become their champion for a while, and she fought very hard against listening to the whispers. Tanza is both proud and relieved that they won that battle. (Also, bonus fact, Ryland ended up Champion as in canon, and he doesn't know he was second choice until after he's chosen. He takes this in a very Ryland way, and Tanza gives no shits about that whatsoever until he taunts her after her mothers are Frozen. Then she extra wants him dead.)
13. what do they want their legacy to be when they die?
Kerra: That she helped people, and worked hard, and loved with everything she was.
Cio: That she was good at whatever job she took, and that no matter who she cared for and how much, she was no one's but her own.

Wandavision finale SPOILERS
It was ok, I guess?
For the last eight weeks I had been watching faithfully. I was so excited for the finale and felt that it was a bit incomplete. There were cool scenes but overall it seems like they needed another episode to wrap everything up.
Boy did they exploit superhero landing so much!
New look!
That was so beautiful. She looks amazing! The crown, the hair!
SWORD
I’m not sure we needed SWORD in this series. It was done to include Monica and show Maria’s legacy. But in the end, it acted as every single bureaucratic American organization ever.
They could have put the CIA or FBI or a SHIELD-like organization and they would have done exactly the same. Hayward could been in any of those institutions.
Maybe it’s because I have the image of SWORD from the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon with the spaceship outside Earth and being super cool. I hope Captain Marvel 2 fixes this, or Fury’s show.
Secondary characters
The show is called Wandavision, so It’s normal that Wanda was the most developed character, but I think they underutilized Monica, Darcy and Jimmy.
Especially Monica. I have mixed feelings about this. One the one hand, I think it was a quick way to give her an origin story. Now we can go into Captain Marvel 2 with her fully powered, no time to waste. However, she could have done more. She got the mid-credit scene, so at least they set her up to something greater.
The twins
They are so powerful! Especially Billy! He was able to control the SWORD agents.
Oh, and Wanda putting them to sleep so they wouldn’t notice they would die. That was very touching. “Family is forever”. She was a mom right there. Being calm and loving to her kids even though she knows something bad is coming just so they would be at peace and not suspect anything. That was beautiful. It sort of reminded me to Dark’s finale.
Vision goodbye
This is ridiculous, how many times do we have to watch him die?! One more death and he will surpass Uncle Ben! He already died more times than Steve Trevor.
Regardless, that was heartbreaking. They knew she had to do it, they literally saw it coming towards them. And just to break our hearts even more, she says “you are my love”. Wow! *tears*
Agatha
I love that Agatha called her out. “You’re cruel”
We are going to see Agatha again, for sure. I think she’s coming back for Doctor Strange 2. They set it up, Wanda says that she’ll come and find her when she needs her. And I think she will, or maybe Dr. Strange would come.
Agents of SHIELD reference
So, apparently the mention of the dark hole comes from AOS. And previously, the Hydra soak was also from AOS. I seriously hope they don’t make it canon. I’m sorry but that’s my opinion, I try to like the show but I just couldn’t. I wouldn’t mind if Mockingbird gets included in the MCU, but just her. I feel like it’s the same as if you try to include The Inhumans tv show into the MCU canon. I don’t think Keving Feige would like that at all. He allowed a few references but I doubt he would do more.
Loose threads (so many!)
We never knew who was Jimmy’s witness!?
Darcy wasn’t even there for the finale scene! Is she going to appear anywhere else? Is she done?
Where did white Vision go? He has his memories back, is he going to search for Wanda?
Why was Evan Peters cast? Was it only to confuse fans?
So, is it the multiverse or what?
Accountability! (Does the MCU even know that word?)
Isn’t the government or anyone looking for Wanda? MCU characters have no accountability! Especially Wanda! She is always justified for the mess she does.
Oh her parents were killed, oh she’s just a kid, oh she needs more training, oh she’s grieving, there’s always an excuse.
Sure, like Monica said, whomever had Wanda’s powers would try to bring their loved ones back to life. Yet, that is no justification for slaving thousands of people and torturing them. Dotty said she couldn’t even see her daughter! While Wanda was living her ideal life, everyone else was suffering.
And then, they frame the scene where everyone was looking at Wanda angrily as if the inhabitants of Westview were the bad guys! Go through what they went through, see if you forgive her. I wouldn’t. She kept them from their families, she tortured them, she make them have her nightmares. They should try to prosecute her for all of that.
Mid-credit scene
BTW, the skrull was the big cameo?! It was fine, but it didn’t blew my mind. Also, is she a good skrull or a bad one? I think she is the good one, the one who was playing Maria Hill during FFH’s end credit scene?
Post-credit scene
Again, accountability. Wanda was allowed to flee the crime scene and live in a cottage to get even more powerful.
So, she’s doing the thing from Doctor Strange where they separate their astral form from the physical one. And she’s reading the book!
The twins are coming back! They were calling for her. And they have to be there for Young Avengers.

The City Watch books and House M. D. for the meme
The City Watch books
Favorite character: His Grace, His Excellency, The Duke of Ankh; Commander and Ambassador Sir Samuel “The Butcher” Vimes of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch; Blackboard Monitor xDD (sorry for the “spoilers” but they won’t make much sense to you anyway yet, so).
Second favorite character: this one is hard, because I’m endlessly fond of so many– Angua, Carrot, Cheery, Dorlf, Vetinari (okay, “fond” is probably not the word for him)… but given my reaction to certain news about the adaptation, I’m picking Sybil lol.
Least favorite character: eh. I mean, the villains of these books are certainly the type you don’t feel much affection for, as a general rule lmao. I’m going with Lord Rust. Because he’s a very mundane evil.
The character I’m most like: Constable Visit for my tendency to proselitizice about Discworld books, of course. In truth, I relate to a lot of them, especially Vimes, so I’m going with him.
Favorite pairing: Sam/Sybil. They’re too cute. Though I love Angua/Carrot too.
Least favorite pairing: meh. I guess there’s a fairly big sector that ships Vimes/Vetinari, and though I see why they would, I can only see them as platonic frenemies xD
Favorite moment: SO SO MANY. RN, since I have Feet of Clay fresh, is Dorlf’s “WORDS IN THE HEART CANNOT BE TAKEN” *sobs*. I love golems.
Rating out of 10: 13/10 at least.
House M.D.
Favorite character: Gregory House. He’s That Bitch xDD.
Second favorite character: I’m between Amber, Foreman, and Chi Park (all likely weird choices xD).
Least favorite character: eh. I don’t think I had strong negative feelings for any of them. I wasn’t too interested in Cameron or Taub, I guess.
The character I’m most like: I relate to House, partially for some of the reasons I relate to Vimes, but let’s not get into that xD. Also, Thirteen.
Favorite pairing: honestly, I could never ship-ship anything in this show, even if I loved plenty of (mostly House-related) dynamics, like House/Cuddy, House/Wilson, House/Foreman, House/Dominika PETROVA (I can never get over the name of his “wife”, sns. I’ve decided House takes place in the Plecverse thanks to this, btw. It makes things even more hilarious lol. Now I want Hugh Laurie to appear in Legacies)… I think I came closest with Amber/Wilson[/House] (and Chase/Park, but to a much lesser levels). So I guess it’s Amber/Wilson. I wish we’d seen more, especially with House in the mix lol.
Least favorite pairing: my answer is more or less the same as in “least favorite character”. I guess Cameron/Chase bored me? Not even their relationship being at least 80% about House could save it for me xDD. Though I enjoyed all the drama before & after Chase killed a dictator lol.
Favorite moment: the very ending, with House and Wilson driving away after House faked his death lmao.
Rating out of 10: 9/10. It had its low moments, but loving such a centric character has its perks and it was overall really solid.
