not as familiar as i wish i was (as in i watched most of the streams but havent rewatched in awhile and i havent thought abt them much since watching) but you know c!skephalo are. they sure are. honestly bad and skeppy's committing to act out like as many ao3 shipping tropes as they can manage through rp characters or not in videos or on stream is something to be admired . the whole thing with their lives being inherently intertwined Sure Was!

c!skeppy is awesome in general why is he the most normal guy on that server. they're very very fun, their interactions are very very very fun, obviously like, besides the canonical soulmates stuff they're you know just generally sad as hell . oh i completely forgot abt that fic i was writing that actually had agood amount of c!skephalo in it because it was c!bad focused along with c!dream LMAO gawd i might finish that one day even tho it's literally 2 years late lmao

I feel like Forever will be the one to finally discover and intervene in regards to the soul vultures - and it’s not going to end well for him or BadBoyHalo when he does.

Q!Forever is so worried about Q!Bad, has expressed to multiple people that he knows how fragile he is. And I think many overlook that he told Bad that he remembered everything that happened while he was drugged. A passenger in his own body.

Meaning he knows what he said to Bad, that he likely remembers proposing - and he remembers the exact state Bad was in at the time. His language, his words, the tired stoop and how Bad was collapsing in on himself. Bad is coping just as badly as he is, on the opposite side of the pendulum’s swing.

He’s determined to give him a flower every day to cheer him up (no roses, yet), but he knows it’s not enough, he’s watching his friend fade away before his eyes and he’s scared. The affirmation room was a really wonderful gift, and I think it helped - emotionally. But it too is not enough on its own, a temporary harbour during stormy seas.

Action is what will truly bring change over words for these two - after all, actions are what have cause trust to waver, compared to words and prank wars and lies told with a straight face that both parties know are lies.

In addition, out of game, Forever (the CC) is essentially going to be offline for most of next month due to gatherings, conventions and traveling. so getting his character taken out of play for a bit in a manner that doesn’t directly involve the Federation this time seems likely - retreading the same ground is no fun. And Forever has also expressed excitement over Bad’s plans for Bad’s own character’s arc. They’re a pair of cheeky enablers, and they both love their complicated cat’s cradle tangle of a relationship that they’ve got going on - they wouldn’t indulge so fully if they didn’t. The CCs trust each other to tell a good story together, and I think that’s neat.

Which is why I think in trying to save Q!Bad from himself, Q!Forever is going to take a blow not intended for him. An action with a consequence neither foresee. Coupled with the morals balancing act Bad’s got going on with Baghera, I think the fallout of these respective efforts is going to be a shock to the BadBoyHalo core that finishes what his Skeppy-confided doubts started.

Or maybe it won’t. Bad is so unpredictable.

But so is Forever. And Forever considers Bad his family. That’s a powerful force - one Bad is going to underestimate, because I don’t think he’s had many people in his life willing to go that sort of distance for him.

I have a feeling that today’s streams are going to be interesting.

(Apparently first thing when I wake up and last thing before I sleep is when my brain goes off on meta tangents. Go figure!)

After turning back up, Wilbur re-approached Tommy, attempting to apologize to him. He asked for Tommy to give him a tour around the server, during which he apologized to Skeppy (who accidentally killed Friend), and they came across the roof of the prison. The two talked about Tommy's exile, upon which Wilbur revealed that he could remember it all. He voiced that if he'd had control, he would have struck Dream down, but that he'd since changed his mind and come to the conclusion that Dream was a hero, and was locked up because he was too powerful. He cut off Tommy's rebuttal to go and apologize to Jack, in the hotel.

Genuine question because I don’t think I’m understanding Bad and Baghera’s arguments: without the Federation, how are they going to add mods or server members or whatever?

A council is a good idea in theory, but a revolution is entirely impossible in the server’s current political climate (look at the q!Fooligetta family, they love the Federation and the Federation loves them and they’re easily some of the most powerful people on the server) and like. On a meta level, they need the Federation. In lore, the Federation is canonically in charge of mods and everything. So are they going to try and add mods and/or Skeppy? I don’t get it

I, of course, know it’s not healthy or sustainable, but there is something very beautiful and poetic about Bad going to the “dark side” because of Skeppy. It truly takes a lot to completely ignore your morals just for the chance of being with someone you love. I just think about it a lot. It made Bad selfish, he knew he would become a vassal for the egg, he knew he was putting his friends in danger, but he did it anyway. He did it because there was a slim chance he and Skeppy would be together, even if they were not the good guys anymore. That’s why his character is so depressing: his plan backfired. Suddenly Skeppy doesn’t want him anymore. So... it was not about the sides, but about me. I did everything I did and he doesn’t love me. I don’t know man

not to be dramatic but i feel like one of the reasons a lot of people are drawn to the dream smp is because of just how welcoming everyone is. when wilbur joined the smp and started a literal drug cartel, everyone sort of just accepted it and joined the role play. when dream invited ranboo to the server, it was only a matter of minutes before he was getting up to mischief, and people just ran with it. i don’t really know where i’m going with this but i just think that there’s something so heartwarming and inspiring about the notion that in at least one way, your ideas and wacky hijinks can be accepted and appreciated—that you can be accepted and appreciated

There’s something kind of funny about everyone always saying that George and Skeppy have no impact on the lore outside of sleeping in or building a mushroom house or Red Skeppy because that’s...actually not true?

They both have had a ton of impact on the plot and George especially has been involved in way more lore and interesting plot moments/scenes than people give him credit. Don’t get me wrong, like, don’t expect him to do any lore streams and the stuff we do have is still crumbs compared to the other characters, but to say that George doesn’t have any character/plot? He does!

For example, his running sleeping in bit has been a thing since the revolutionary war, not just the election, as a way of him avoiding a war that he didn’t want to get involved with and didn’t feel like he was prepared to fight. He wasn’t ready for a battle. But not a ton of people have seen that scene since it was after a wipeout event and didn’t end up changing the course of the war, since George didn’t end up betraying Dream

People nowadays point to his “big happy family” line with Quackity, but throughout the Election Arc George actually had a lot more than just that that was interesting. Heck, there was an entire giant debate scene that was this huge plot point that he was one of the primary characters in the argument for. He had a shit ton of impact in the trial stream at the beginning of the Exile Arc, kept insisting that the walls weren’t enough of a consequence. Then you’ve got the whole Mexican L’manburg/El Rapids plot line as well. 

And then you’ve got Skeppy, who is not only the main plot point of the Egg Arc but has also been a major player in the Disc Saga and kept the Cat disc in his possession for four months. He was the one who made Spirit plot relevant in the first place and put the leather into circulation as a bargaining chip. He debated Dream the night he rejoined the server, he’s the only one who’s ever burnt one of the discs and was planning to do the same to the two main discs in Season Two.

Hell, Skeppy was the one who burnt the fake Memory Book if you wanna get into that too, right? He’s such a force of chaos that he just, impacts lore wherever he walks despite not roleplaying that much.

While they both don’t do Lore™ like other people do, I don’t think it’s fair to say that they’ve got nothing to their names either

(all /rp) final waltz and the discussion around the skeppy cage that came up bc of it really highlighted smth interesting about dream that i always had in the back of my mind but ive never really seen anyone talk about before

dream seems to consider certain ppl to be possessions that belong to either him or to other ppl

in dream’s eyes, skeppy and tubbo are objects that belong to bad and tommy respectively. in tubbo’s case, dream views him as smth closer to tommy’s discs then a person with a life and emotions. tubbo is just another one of tommy’s beloved objects that dream can use to torment him by threatening to take away

as for ppl dream sees as his own possessions...well...i think by now we all know exactly what he thinks of tommy
