Flashback to three years ago.

It didn’t stop. My body wasn’t my home anymore. Everything hurt and it lasted for months. Months full with blood and blood and BLOOD. You can’t imagine. It wasn’t red. It was black. For months. Everyday. And it smelled like hell. I wasn’t able to go out because I was afraid someone could notice.

It was awful.

I didn’t know why my body did this kind of things. I didn’t know why I had to go through this hell after I just had got out of my personal hell.

Nowadays I know why.

Seems like my body just wanted to tell me not to open up for anyone, that he just wanted to show me what he had resisted. What would happen if I’d go bad.

But it was like hell.

And I know I don’t want to go there anymore. Never again.

My biggest secret

I was sexually abused for 4 years. Yes, I can finally type it on something without crying or feeling ashamed. No one knows. Only me and the "man" who did it to me. I was only 10 years old when it started. I didn't know any better... well I did but I didn't know how to make him stop because that's what he wanted and I was scared. He would make me drink alcohol until I felt "silly" (that's what he called it). He would then make me kiss him, try on my moms lingerie and make me play with a dildo. He was smart when I was not. I only knew it vibrated therefore I thought you only rubbed it against your vagina. And he knew better than to tell me what you really did with it because then if I were to go to the doctor, they could see if something had been in my vagina. Unfortunately this went on for about 4 years when one night he told me he was giving me a Tylenol when he was really giving me a xanax. Soon after taking the "Tylenol" I started getting dizzy, seeing things that weren't there, slurring my words, and doing whatever it was that he said to do because truthfully I was scared. From this point on I only remember bits and pieces but what I do remember is us kissing and my mom seeing us.. Yes that's right, my mom SAW with her own two eyes and did nothing about it. The next morning I woke up in my bed, scared, worried, sick and embarrassed.. but when my mom came into my room, I acted as if I hadn't remembered a thing. Now, 5 years later, I don't think she has any idea that I know. I also don't think she knows how long it was really going on. It makes me sad. It makes me sick. I don't want anyone to have to go through 4 years of your step dad secretly sexually abusing you.

Childhood is an important formative stage of human development as it hold the potential to the future development of any society. Children who are brought up in an environment which is conducive to their intellectual, physical, social health, grow up to responsible and productive member of society. The time has come to reexamine the saying, “spare the rod and spoil the child”. Children are at the receiving end of the rod both at their on homes and schools from parents, Teachers and non teaching school authorities. Child abuse has many forms physical, emotional, sexual, neglect and exploitation. These are potentially or actually harmful the child's health, survival, dignity and development are abuse. Child sexual abuse is a serious problem in India as it is in many parts of world today. Abuse can be conducted by an adult or another child who is developmentally superior to the victim. This includes using the child for pornography, sexual material, prostitution and unlawful sexual practices. Emotional abuse is also act of causing harm to child's development. when they could have been within reasonable control of person responsible for the child.
