Gaz is a very physical lover! Even when you first started off as friends he always liked to cling to you. Interlocking pinkies, interlocking arms, or even having you sit on his lap/ or him sitting on your lap, he thrives off of physical touch. Along with that he’s a big sucker for your hair, always grooming it, or messing with it when he has your head seated on your lap, talking to you about his latest interest or telling you about Soap's latest shenanigans. Honestly he does this a lot when you officially start dating, and when he’s done he’ll have you lay in bed with him, holding your hand as he gets comfy.

During training he makes it a point to partner up with you if he can. Something about it is just so funny to him. Being able to see who can manhandle the other, and then tease the “loser” until the next training session. Sometimes the both of you can get too competitive but no hard feelings in the end!! All he has to do is bat his eyelashes at you and boom your attention is off on winning, and damm now he has you pinned to the ground and declared the winner. To others it may be seen as aggressive but that’s just how the two of you play at this point. 

No matter what, friends or lovers, your room is now his room, since he’s always sleeping over his clothes and items can be found all around. Your bed having a mix of his + your own covers, the difference between your cologne and his always hurting anyone else’s nose just because they haven’t developed a tolerance to how strong it is. He loves adding his own little touches, like getting you posters he thinks you’d like or changing the sheets to something that reminds him of you. It’s all about feeling domestic in your spare time with each other. 

Otters usually eat anything in water, so his family is known to have strong stomachs but I feel like he’s a picky eater because certain things make his tummy ache. He hates it and complains about it so much, but then being babied by you makes the whole ordeal better. Laying on your bed as you massage his body and kiss his cheek, trying to soothe him after eating something he wasn’t supposed to just because he was curious.

i find it funny but also kind of annoying when writers clearly don’t know how cooking works or haven’t bothered to look up the recipe of whatever food they’re referencing. so many times i’ve read a fic where jiang yanli makes a “vegetarian version” of the lotus and pork rib soup for lan wangji or makes the soup within a few hours (sometimes even only an hour!) which are all pretty much impossible feats.

the soup is made by boiling the pork ribs for LITERAL HOURS (i’m not joking. the soup is best when it’s been simmering for 12 hours at least) alongside the lotus root, aromatics, goji berries, ginger, etc. the reason the soup has any flavor at all is the pork ribs; without those, it would just be water with stuff floating in it. now, if the vegetarian version is just the soup without the pork then that’s one thing, but then does that count as vegetarian since the broth is meat based? i’m not sure what constitutes as vegetarian for the Lans; do bone broths count as eating meat? if they do, no wonder all the food in Cloud Recesses sucks so hard.

anyways, fic writers: before making offhand comments about food, look up the recipe and see how it’s made. food is deeply cultural and significant, both the product and the act of making it. jiang yanli’s soup is so important because it is a labor of love that takes time and effort to make, especially if she is making it from scratch by herself as we are led to assume. by reducing it to something that can be accommodated for other characters or something easier than it really is, you are inadvertently diminishing yanli’s act of love.

Glad I have this challenge or else I really was thinking that all I did today was mope around lol. Honestly recently I've been feeling hopeful and discouraged all at the same time. Being in a different space is giving me a lot of hope, but being (more) alone is making me feel like I'm wasting all my time.

this is so true i never thought about this...he's so used to his stomach hurting and certainly foods bothering him that he's unaffected most of the time and sometimes when he throws up he's surprised like oh damn I didn't think it was bad enough for that to happen teehee;) I feel like most of them don't know about his alcoholism so they don't attribute it to that. Kunikida is recommending supplements or diet changes for him to feel better but Dazai knows the cause won't change so he doesn't do anything about it 💔

Purina apparently discontinued and then reformulated the only canned food I've found so far that Griffin's extraordinarily sensitive tummy can tolerate, adding one of his potential worst allergens to nearly the top of the formulation list. I have sent a Karen-like e-mail to Purina, and am now having to have five million tabs open on different pet food websites to put the ingredient lists of everything under a microscope to try and find something remotely close.

It seems like recently it's just hot all the time but it will ocasionally tempt you with a cool day of reprieve BUT don't let your #guard down! because as soon as you start to think 'hey things are getting better! :0' the sun will be like NO actualy. scalding temperature #be upon ye.. #Which of COURSE. I would rather have hot weather with little breaks in between than just constant hot weather. 100% definitely. #but it just always makes me sad because I get my hopes up lol.. JUST as I've recovered from the past heat and am So Ready To Start #On All My Things now That I'm Not As Sick And Hey Maybe It's Even Cool Enough To Do A Costume! .. my hopes are dashed #.. woe and so on and so forth. .
