One thing I’ve noticed about people in or entering their 30s is they don’t make as many compromises anymore. If someone doesn’t meet them halfway, is not up to standard, is just not where they’re needed to be, they’re just like “ok cool” and they move on from the person. Which is not to say they’re less empathetic or understanding, but more that they have learned that time is their most prized possession and they’re not willing to make massive compromises on it. They are not obsessed w the idea of fixing someone (bc the concept of fixing a person doesn’t really exist). They simply move on to someone who is up to par. I want that. I want to always move w the awareness that time is my most priceless belonging and I can never buy it back. Ever. So I have to use it wisely

sometimes internet drama is exhausting, and it puts into perspective how different real-life problems often are in comparison. a few years back, it was discovered by some friends of mine that someone made taboo NSFW art with a character I use to represent myself, and because of that there are sections of the community convinced I'm the worst kind of person despite this art having been created without my knowledge or consent. and yet, the shaming shadows me.

Man, I don't know where my passion went.

I remember when I was younger, I could write multiple chapters in a day. I took every chance I had to write, and now? Now, I can scarcely manage to write a couple hundred words every year or two. It really kind of just... sucks. Like, I love writing, I love making people happy with that writing, and my goal in life was always to be an author. Now though I just feel as if I've lost that spark. I've lost that ability and all of the progress I've made, and it's super disheartening.

I dunno man. I'm just really sad. I miss writing, I miss publishing stuff for other people to enjoy, I miss the spark creating used to give me and the joy I would get in character study. I don't really mean to vent, it's just bothering me a lot. It genuinely, genuinely hurts me that what was once my passion and comfort is so hard to attain anymore.
