I’m pretty transparent about the fact that Sattic is not my real surname. And I’m 97% sure “sattic” is not a real word.

I began using it because people misread the URL of my main account as “Kate Sattic” rather than “Kate’s Attic”. And I’ve dabbled with pseudonyms in regards to by writing for years and I liked the sound of it and boom. It’s my new stage/pen/whatever name.
